John: I second everyone who said owner and employee were nice people. This is my first time buying a gun as a relatively new LTC holder. They were professional and accommodating. I purchased a Sig Sauer 320C-9-BSS-MS-MA from them. Both the owner and the employee gave helpful advice throughout the purchase process (especially with the forms). I also double checked the price of the Sig Sauer 320C-9-BSS-MS-MA and can confirm they offered a very reasonable price for it. Next time if they have a full sized Sig Sauer 320 with a longer barrel, I would definitely consider buying it from them.

As for the fellow whose knickers are in a twist about lack of face diapers in the store, he might instead wish to take up crochet as a hobby. I’m sure everyone at Yarn Barn is well masked up.
Matt Reid: Inventory is extremely low in the firearms department. But that's a nationwide problem. Nothing anyone can do about that. However the staff was extremely helpful as I am a recently licensed potential gun owner with lots of questions. All of which were answered concisely and with a smile. I look forward to doing business with them when they have more things in stock. I would recommend.
Keyn Dawgah: Ron is the best. I have bought a majority of my firearms from Ron. He is a friendly down to earth guy. To anybody who wrote a negative review they need to do some more research on what they are looking for and what you need to purchase a firearm. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all types of firearms. He might not have a lot of stock on the shelf at the moment but there is plenty of accessories to look through. It should be called the sportsmans paradise.

DRBR 2020: This is another decent place to shop for guns, both new and used (especially used). Prices normally aren't quite as good as its nearby competition (Four Seasons), but the selection and customer service are still quite good. One of the two owners, Jack Gallagher, passed away. He was the best and he is sorely missed by all. R.I.P. Jack.
Problemattik: Rapper Review!As your local guide, I do visit alot of places. This gun store is A1! Recently made a purchase and as a person who is always delayed, alot of stores do not call me when it clears. Bill, however, pays attention to that and makes sure he reaches out as soon as it clears. That alone is the greatest thing someone can do for us folks who are constantly delayed and just want to pick up our new tool. The prices are great and right in line with the best in Massachusetts. A friend recommended this spot to me and I'm recommending it to you! Definitely a great spot in Stoneham! Right near the zoo.Thanks Bill!

We wanted to go somewhere they had a great selection and would also be willing to spend some real time with us because we wanted to handle a few things to see what felt good. We were able to book an appointment which is as great because we were coming from far away and made things so much easier.We were greeted by the three gentlemen very warmly and with what I felt was genuine excitement to help us purchase our first firearms. We told them right when we got there that we were prepared to spend a good amount of money as long as we got things that we’re going to work but really great for us. My boyfriend would like to leave his own review so I will just focus on my experience personally.I am terrible with names and want to start off by saying everyone that worked there was extremely helpful and kind. However it was the taller gentleman that was mainly helping me and I couldn’t thank him enough. He was so patient and knowledgeable. He really took the time to find the perfect carry piece for me and he was really honest, I didn’t feel like he was pressuring or up selling me at all.I ended up getting the Springfield Armory Hellcat and I absolutely love it.My experience was a 10 out of 10 and I absolutely will be returning.Thank you to all of you for your help and I can’t wait to tell you how I do at the range.

Gold: So I went in a while back looking at their inventory. I walked in, no one said hi, they all looked at me like I was bothering them. Very poor customer service . Took them 10 mins with 2 people in the store to ask me if I needed help with anything. They all have very bad social skills and make you feel very VERY unwelcomed as a customer you should never feel that. Do yourself a favor don't bother with these rude grumps because clearly they can't be bothered with you. Read reviews they all say the same thing. Go to four seasons.
William Smith: I am not one for leaving reviews but I like these guys and had a good experience with them so I feel like they should get a good review. I had been looking for a particular rifle for a while. I was also looking for a particular pistol. I had been to a dozen stores and was just making the rounds so to speak when I came across this place. They had the rifle I had been looking for so I bought it and they took my name for a waiting list on the pistol. I have been on a couple of "lists " for both of these firearms but never had a call back. And a lot of places won't take a list. Bill called me a week later and told me the pistols had come in and reserved one for me. So it worked out well for me, and I found their pricing to be good also. I know the pistol sells elsewhere for $50-$150 more. I would definitely go back in the future.

Noneya Business: I had read the reviews and decided to see for myself. I had just won $500 on a scratch ticket and wanted to buy a used 22 for practice. I saw they had one online so I stopped in. I immediately got the impression I was “ bothering “ them. Older gentleman couldn’t seem less interested. I ended up buying some air pistol stuff and went down to 4 seasons and bought a new Ruger mark 4.
George Magnani: I cannot count the number of guns, ammo, targets and accessories I have purchased at this gun shop over the past 30 plus years. I stood at the door like the sign said. After a while a rude condescending A-hole asked what I wanted. I said I was there to buy some stuff and look around. He told me I need gloves on. ( I was already wearing my mask) I went out to my truck and put on a pair of latex gloves. I picked out some items and was going to go cash out. I asked Mr. rude A-Hole why I was the only one in the store wearing gloves. He surlily said they aren't touching anything. I turned around and put everything I was about to buy back and left. I competitively shoot in two pistol leagues. I will make sure my teammates go to 4-Seasons in Woburn.

Jim Weingartner: Very hard to deal with. While trying to do a transfer with him he told me that most cops are dirty and not trustworthy. I am a retired cop and FFL . I don't appreciate his mouth and attitude

I've been here a few times; the line is a bit long sometime, but he operates alone so it is not too bad. His pricing is very competitive as well. He would not mind giving you his honest opinions :-) Highly recommended for 1st time buyers.

Chris has tried to get what he can and I’ve never seen him price gouging on ammo or firearms throughout the past two years.He always has something interesting, I’m a HK fanboy so he covers my choices very well. I might just have few more of them because of this…Original 2 year old review as was below.Chris has all the HK models that are Mass Compliant, USP, HK45, P2000, P30 and VP9s. If he can get it, he will. If you’re looking for an Heckler & Koch I would recommend trying here.I have had him order a few things that he wouldn’t stock due to low demand and it was easy enough. Who’s looking to get a Ruger 77 in 357 Mag just by chance.His used prices are the best I’ve seen around, especially for preban firearms when he has them.He’s a 1 man shop so you might swing by and find out he closed for a day to enjoy a weekend or stepped out for lunch. He’s open Monday through Saturday so I can never find fault in someone looking to take some time off.

make 1984 fiction again: Could I have done more of my own due diligence? Yes. However, I bought a gun labeled "pre ban" that turned out not to actually be preban despite its pre ban price. I recently needed to come up with some extra cash so I went to 5 different dealers to try and sell it and nobody wanted anything to do with it except for two guys private sale only because they couldn't legally sell it in their shop. I was lucky to get 15% of what I paid for it before I even had the chance to put a round through it. I will be much more informed next time I make a purchase however, buyer beware.

Tony Khachiyan: I don’t leave reviews often but want to for this place. The pin & weld job they did for me was absolutely incredible. You literally can’t tell where the pin is. They also touched up some raw metal on the blued compensator without me even asking. Not to mention they got it done in a few hours, on a Saturday, without an appointment and it cost less than any other shop around. I’m very happy with the service and the end result. This will probably be my go to shop for any work.

The service is super friendly and our instructor goes over everything about safety and watches over us for the whole time. I really appreciate his patience! I was particularly scared but he called me up front and made a shot right in front of my face to ease my anxiety & I was successful after that. We tried six guns and they got bigger each time, but the whole thing was very interesting, exciting and safe.
