Home Style Laundry: what do users think?
Bryan Phillips: I have used this place many times over last few months and never had any issues, it's a classic laundry Matt, monitored, mostly home style washers, two high capacity washer and several large dryers. Change machine and detergent vending machine. Clean, I have seen a person come through to clean several times.
MaLa Broussard: There is attendant around. They monitor the laundry room remotely. So make sure you have crisp dollars because it would not take it. It is in the heart of Beacon Hill. It is $3.25 to wash a load. The laundrymat closes at 9:00 pm promptly daily. The end time changed per sign on the window. There on no front loader washers. Happy Laundromat Day! You heard it here first! When MaLaSpeaks Everyone Listens!
Kevin Farley: Drying machines don’t work. Had to use three different drying machines to find one that worked. Ate my money.
Scott Corriveau: Not much to say.. my clothes are clean
Steve Anderson: Place is so small and many machines broken. Had to try three different dryers and second one ate my money so had to run to Harvards Gardens to get more change to be able to finish drying.I didn't see the out of order sign on first one because it was so small just covering coin slot, but second one wasn't, there were few other machines also marked out of order. Not good having broken machines with no onsite staff to assist customers.
Bruce Rumble: Close to home.
PHILIPPE BENEDETTI: Bien.
Taylor Sherrill: It's a laundromat, and it serves its purpose. Everything works alright and it's conveniently located. Really hot in the summer. The change machine has been broken a few times so maybe come prepared or be open to searching for quarters.
Minh Mai: Most machines work
Aaron Gyde: The machines are only typically reliable--coins can be eaten and the dryers get too hot. It's not particularly clean or comfortable. Still, it's a decent place with relatively long hours.
Fabio Fagundes: Very dirty place. Trashes all over. No plug for cell phone charging. Could be much well cared.
Tyler Mastrangelo: Washers and dryers sometimes eat quarters
Raúl C: No me gustó que no tiene enchufe para cargar celular
Rachel Baron: Little local laundry. 😊
Dan Douglas: Dryers are a pain. Give them a spin before putting money in them. If they spin easily, it wont work. Find one that fights back when you try to spin it.Hours say closes at 10:00, last load at 8:45, but I've seen people start loads later than that.
Annie T: There's a money changing machine, saves the trouble of collecting quarters... anyway the notice says closes promptly at 10 last load at 8:45pm!
Garrett Grasmick: The quarter machine is very good at short changing and the dryers eat quarters.
Anessa Hughes, Interpreter: Perfectly fine. Change machine worked. Washer worked. Dryer worked. $3 to wash, 75¢ to dry. Most importantly, in a neighborhood that looked decent and safe.
Leah Kosow: This laundromat has been nothing but one upsetting experience after another. The washers (for the most part) simply fill with water and then empty the water: the clothes inside do not receive a proper cleaning (as noted by the detergent not being agitated when I go to remove my clothing after a cycle). None of the machines are cared for and many simply have the "broken" labels removed as if that magically made the problem go away as well. In the past 1.5yrs I've been living in the neighborhood and unfortunately using this establishment out of "convenience" (I usually have to re-do my load of laundry several times in one visit for it to be clean) I have not once seen maintenance or any sort of employee on site. The most upsetting incident happened about 1month ago in June 2015 when my clothing caught fire in one of the dryers and despite calling their "emergency" hotline number 6 times, I have still not spoken directly to management about the issue because they have yet to return any of my calls. I had to replace $400+ of damaged clothing and it looks like I will never be reimbursed for this matter.I am beyond livid at the service this laundromat provides and I am enraged that there is no proper way to have these matters dealt with. You are all honestly better off using a drop off-pick up laundry service on Charles Street.Good luck.
David Pistritto: Awful
Gary Peck: Average neighborhood laundromat. The place is clean, the washers and dryers are relatively recent and efficient, and they usually work well (my only complaint is that sometimes 1 or 2 of the dryers are broken and not marked as such). The laundromat is usually unattended and there isn't any wash-and-fold service.Washing machines take $2.75 per load, dryers take $0.25 per 6 minutes (as of April 2011). There are also a couple triple-load washers for $4.25. Everything is by quarters (no fancy debit cards unfortunately). There is a change machine that's pretty reliable.

South End Laundry: what do users think?
Berniz La Paz: Positive:QualityMachines are clean, this is fabulous!!!Machines work very well, and location is perfect!!!
Diana Dowland: Stayed in Boston at Hampton Inn Crosstown for 2 weeks, this nearby laundry mat was convenient, clean and good neighborhood vibe.
Rajeev Mantri: Horrible experience. The owner was very rude and kept shouting at us when we wanted to seek some direction on how to use the washing machine.
J: Very bad customer service. Unpleasant. Too expensive.
Anne-Marie: The machines only dispense cold water even when I select hot. Barely any water in the machine during the wash cycle. It’s relatively clean inside at least.
Jay Gray: From the get-go I was treated badly. One word answers while keeping her face buried into her phone. Only takes cash bc like most of the Asian oriented businesses in Boston, the IRS can't trace cash which why most places only take cash. Charges 25¢ a minute for dry which is $1.00 every 4 minutes. On average a person uses 25-35 mins on dry at a laundromat. Which averages to around 7-9 dollars on the dry. $5.75 for a "triple load". Then to take out cash you'll most likely have to pay a fee and a fee from your bank. So altogether between wash, dry and the bank ATM fee. Your going to spend 18.00 on the lowest average cost to do 1 load of laundry. It's all deceiving tricks used to dry up any person coming in to do laundry. If your to use this place, only use their laundry service. Other then that, teets on a pole..... Useless.
Rickelle Dickson: First time laundry drop off service: timley, clean, and organized.
Luca Alessandri: Critical:Professionalismfirst time I was here , I needed some information but the owner was very rude
species 8499BORG: Positive:ValueClean , convenient , affordable, nice people
Ali K.: Rude, dirty, and expensive.
Sharon L Vela: That were nice friendly the machines were Clean very excellent service I use the large machine I had clothes that had been building up since I got to Boston Massachusetts on March 22 ,2022 and I just came in to wash at 3:00 PM on April 15 , 2022 And the lady that was running the laundry mat she was so courteous nice and sweet told me what size washer I need it to use and I was using the pods gain detergent and she told me how many pods to put in there and explain to me each little slot where you put the money holds 2 quarters each $7.00 for the large washer and I had a huge garbage bag full and I was amazed that I can only use one washer for $7.00 dollars I will definitely come here again to wash clothes nice and clean in here they do a lot of full-service laundry as well and self-service laundry awesome thanks so much ladies for your help and hospitality
Sonia Nichani: The owner spoke very rudely over the call. He was yelling away just to give me a reply on charges , timings and details on service
Chef Style Boston: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueYou always receive your items back on time and folded well to maximize space. Never any issues. Highly recommend!
Bonnie Burke: Clean and friendly, never any problems going there
Scott MacDonald: Stole my money. I paid for a washing machine and it didn’t start, they insisted I hadn’t paid yet and wouldn’t give me my money back. I won’t be coming back
Alex T: I had to do laundry while on a multi-city vacation. This place is open relatively early (8am) before touristy stuff, and the owner and maybe her son were both there at 8am and able to exchange my $20 for lower bills & quarters to use the machines.Note that she only gives quarters for customers to use the machines. She does not provide change for other purposes or for non-customers. (If you need a $20 in order to even exchange it with her, you can go across the corner to the southwest, where there is an ATM in a separate room next to the 24 hour convenience store - the attendant will open the door to the ATM room for you. This nearby location of an accessible ATM for people carrying their laundry with them makes this laundromat's location extra convenient for those who come to the city without any cash on-hand.)Back to the laundromat itself, there are a very large number of machines (some new and some old), and the machines are clean. The floor itself looks a bit dirty, but it might just be because it is old tiling - even when it's cleaned, it tends to look worse over time.Signage clearly indicates the cost of using the washers and their method of operation. A sign near the front of the store also tells people the costs so they know how much they may need to exchange into quarters. Prices are fair - any less and I don't think they'd be able to stay in business. If you live or have a hotel room within a mile of this laundromat, it is where I would recommend going.
D R: Stayed at Westin Copley place. The place they refer to in hotel is a multi chain laundromat with scheduled pickups and next day delivery and signing up for an account. Big hassle. This place answered phone, picked up within a half hour, did the laundry very nicely, folded it and delivered it back to hotel a few hours later. All very professionally. Service could not be better at fair and reasonable price and recommend giving them a try .
Robert Self: Have not washed here, but good location in the South End. Prices seem reasonable for the location:Small Washer: $3.50Medium Washer: $5.00Large Washer: $6.50Dryer: $1.00 per 16 minsWash, Dry, Fold: $1.30 a lb
Ulysses Holiday: Very friendly
Michael Marmo: Hello woman was stern but spoke clearly which may scares off wimps. Polite and to the point I had no trouble getting job down. Clean and good prices quality
kim lomax: Good

Myrtle St Laundromat: what do users think?
Allan Sheahan: Always Dirty. They kick you out with upmost rudeness and an hour late opening frequently. No phone number to check. Walk your laundry through beacon hill and not open.
Garret Bowers: Owner was nice. The machines are expensive for the low quality and if you put over 7 quarters in the dryer it will just stop working. There should be a sign. Also the rim of the machines are super sharp. When putting my clothes in it peeled my thumb skin like a potato and it bled so much that I passed out when trying to leave and fell down the stairs, not really their fault though they could use new machines.
ann morton: I have not had a bad experience using this facility. Machines are old, but get my clothes clean. What more do I need?
Rachel Rosenberg: Machines eat money, are filthy, and the dryers don’t work even when they take money.
Anja Kelley: bf and i went in to get quarters because we haven’t been able to dry our clothes. the owner was incredibly rude to us. took out her frustration about the quarter machine being broken on us. had been in there before without issues, but not coming back ever.
S M: Machines here always eat my money. You'll put $4 in then the quarter thing jams forcing you to a new machine.I think this battle of man vs. washer is what keeps me coming back.
Jason Reul: Peaceful. Takes coins. 7 minutes per quarter dryer. In stuck up Seattle its only 4 minutes.lol.
martin chmielewski: Machines are horrible. Every time i go my quarters get eaten up. Don't recommend going here
Fiona Dillon: I didn’t have any issues with broken machines or eaten quarters. Clean and functional. $3.50 per load and a quarter per 7 min of dry time.
Curtis Hall: I think it's an ok place to so laundry. I get my errands done and no thieves. I trust this place
Will Richards: IF a staff person is there you’ll be fine.Otherwise.... get ready because these machines eat quarters, $1s and $5s. Happened several times. They never send a refund.
Nathan Langione: Machine prices are reasonable, definitely cheaper than wash and fold at the local drycleaners. All the washer I've used work though sometimes they won't take certain quarters. The big issue is that some of the dryers run, but don't dry, so sometimes i have to dry my clothes twice costing me money and 40 minutes of my time. There are no staff and no way to let them know a machine is broken so its really hit or miss, but there aren't many laundromat options around. If they had broken stickers, or sticky notes and pens, available to mark broken machines it would really improve the experience.
Kathryn Rion: Coin machines don't work, two different machines ate dollars. This place is awful.
Julia Balbi: Worst laundromat ever! Every single time I come to this place at least one of the machines takes my money and doesn't work. And the staff is almost never there, it's so annoying! Also, the machines are very old and I feel they don't clean the clothes well... Unfortunately, it's the only laundromat close to my house.
Ezra Golombek: Place is expensive for laundromat and has no wifi.
Natalie: It's a total annoyance that these laundromats are coin operated instead of using laundry cards. Also machines are pretty old. Other than that it's okay
chris h-22: Empty and spacious and accessible
Kelsey Gardner: This place is absolute garbage. The machines look and work like they’re 20+ years old and do not actually wash your clothes. They are constantly breaking down or not accepting quarters aka not working at all. The quarter machine never works and the people that own the place also own the market next door but won’t help you if anything isn’t working. They just tell you to call the “emergency number” posted on the wall but the lady who answers that is absolutely clueless. Literally the only reason this place is still in business is because of the location and they know it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. So sick of trash places in Boston that charge ridiculous amounts of money for nothing just because they can. Have a little pride in your business and yourself and run a legit place that people enjoy coming to. It’s really not that hard.
david lopez: Nice clean place. No problems at all with washers or dryers. Friendly neighborhood, safe and pleasant. Would recommend for a affordable wash and dry.

Beacon Street Laundromat: what do users think?
John Tatro: Prices are now $7.50 for a "triple" load (more like double) which is only 35 minutes btw, and a single load is $3.75 for only 25 minutes and they're not that big. I will say I'm not an avid laundromat explorer but I feel like these are smaller than average, and only have options for all warm/hot unless you pick cold/delicates. I guess the bathroom use is only for people she likes or something, told me to go next door but of course they're closed and nothing else around and said they dont have a bathroom here....very small and 90% of the machines are full of clothes thatre done and just sitting there with absolutely no one around....
Maddie DeHaven: Great experience! I’ve started going here regularly since it’s cheaper than the machines at my apartment. The employees are very nice and will exchange bills for quarters if you ask. Dryers are large and good for large items like comforters. The place is clean and has tables and ample outlets if you need to hang out while doing laundry. Definitely recommend!
Kristyna Zoubkova: Very clean, helpful stuff, machines in good condition and dryers extremely cheap (can be used only after washing here, but that makes perfect sense). Definitely recommend.
Tatum Walker: Did a wash-dry-fold. Upon return, I noticed many items were missing. I called the owner and she said she couldn’t find them…Would recommend Life Without Laundry instead. Had to use beacon st laundromat for a last minute wash.
Jamie Chang: Clean, takes cash or quarters, has sitting space, and they have stamp cards! I prefer driving here over my landlord's old machines
Bryan Vohsing: I’ve been going to this laundromat for a few months and the woman that’s always here is awesome. She’s super friendly and even pointed a fan at me while I waited for my clothes during a hot day in the summer. The prices are fair and people are great.
SunHyun Yi: Quick turnaround and pleasant staff, what more could you ask for? Clothes always come back in great condition.
RJ Hall: I have used this place twice. First time they lost all my bedding. Sheets pillow cases and everything. They lost it. They said I was crazy and that I didn’t bring it. Workers barely spoke English which made the experience all the more frustrating. Then 2 days later they called me saying they found it. Second time using them. I’m certain I’m missing things and I have gained new items that are not mine. Absolutely unprofessional.
stephanie: The man who helped me was extremely helpful, and my laundry was done quicker than originally expected! I typically don’t wash dry fold, but needed to due to not having enough time! Definitely will be coming back!I also had a Comforter washed separately from my laundry, and was only charged $17.50..this was also about a week ago 🙂
Stephanie G: I used to drop off my comforters (full size, synthetic). I was initially charged $17.50 per piece on two previous occasions. Then, last I went, I was being charged $30 for the same item. The person spoke was the owner, an older lady and then she went from $30 to $25. I didn’t realize I had to bargain my laundry when consistent pricing on the chart and my history was less than what I was being told to pay.
Bessie Wright: Very clean & the Lady who works there is AMAZING!
Emily Mann: I *have* a washer and dryer in the basement of my apartment, but I still go to this laundromat instead! It is cozy and homey on the inside, and the machines are really nice. The owner is great, and it seems like it's a family-run business. I can't recommend this laundromat enough. The prices *might* be a little higher than cheaper laundromats, but it's worth it to me. The machines clean your clothes well without being too hard on them, and it's a place I don't mind hanging out while I wait for my laundry since it's so nice and cozy.
Erin King: Better prices and less crowded than the other one around the corner! Even on Sunday afternoon. The attendant was friendly and helpful. High tech machines and plenty of folding space. Love the rolling baskets!Note your last load has to be DONE by 9:30 closing time -- they start closing the doors around 8.
Rikang Huang: Excelente laundromat
Aaron Ion Starre: Stole half my best clothes during a wash and fold, denied it, and charged me full price. DO NOT laundry nice clothes here! They should be in jail!!!!And btw many of the reviews on this page are clearly by "local guides" (professionally rendered). For shame
Glarb: Helpful staff and pretty clean! It is on the small side, so keep that in mind if you're trying to do tons of laundry on a Saturday afternoon or something.
John MacDonald: One comforter and and the lady would not let me use single load had to ante up for the triple washer tip ofg
Aaron Orchard: Great local laundry mat with very affordable prices for washing and drying. The staff here is very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. There is a lot of seating including some leather chairs and a window view table for doing work. To pass the time there is free and fast WIFI.
laura nevill: Clean and free WifiMachines are spotless, building is spotless, WiFi works, and good coffee right next store.
Sachin Singh: ok place
Hayley Dennis: Solidly dependable and lovely local laundry spot to do laundry yourself or have the lovely staff do it for you. Would recommend!

West Cedar Dry Clean & Laundry: what do users think?
Rick Hewitt: Critical:Quality,Value3 times in the past month the machines have eaten my money. I've probably lost around $40 here. The staff is great but the machines very much need to be serviced. I consider taking the place to court every now and then.
Isaac Balinski: It's pretty good, not as expensive as many other laundromats in the area. Not particularly clean, and sometimes the machines eat my money, but I suppose even considering that it's still cheaper.
Tomeka Gary: Very clean, quick and easy. Will be going back before I leave
Abigail Smith: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThe machines look old on the outside but are sparkling clean and work wonderfully. The gentleman who was working here when I came was also extremely kind, friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Definitely recommend using this place!
Dan MacNeil: I have done laundry here + times. All good experiences. Staff was friendly and helpful. For example by pointing out that the washers require 6 quarters , but that the driers can go 6 minutes on a quarter and require only thing be at a time. The paint on machines is a bit faded and chipped linoleum floor is a a little scuffed and faded but the place is very clean.
Jordon Walker: Critical:QualityThe reviews saying the staff is friendly must be fake. The owner is extremely rude. The machines are old and are poor quality. I will not be returning.
Matt Winslow: Super friendly, helpful staff with quick turn around and good prices
Santiago Caicedo: Stuff is friendly, the place is clean and it doesn't get crowded.Best part? For wash and fold, you can Drop off before 9am and clothes will be ready before 5:30pm. $1.50/lb
Mike Snight: This place is great! The guy that works there is super friendly and the drop off/pick up service is incredibly convenient. It's usually not that busy if you do your own laundry and the machines seem to be maintained pretty well. Definitely the best laundromat in the area!
Daniel Palmer: Closes at 7
Amy Inman: I live across the street and have a tiny washing machine unit in my basement so I typically take my clothes over to West Cedar Laundry for fluff n' fold. The best part is that you can drop your laundry off before work in the morning and it is done by that same evening. The owner is also extremely friendly!
