Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Fitness: what do users think?
Lawrence Driscoll: Phil at Joint Ventures in Kenmore Square did a fantastic job getting me back into running after knee surgery!
Mary Murray: Individual attention and care. Targeted hands-on massage, and a gym of exercise equipment.
rock gnatovich: Great facility and better personnel. My physical therapist takes a wholistic view of specific issues resulting in a better outcome. Highly trained, intelligent with an excellent ability to articulate problems and solutions. Massage therapist is equally knowledgeable and committed to excellence. Been to many physical therapists. These folks are a cut above.
Cole Papadopoulos: I strongly recommend Joint Ventures. The admin assistant was responsive in helping me schedule an appointment at short notice over email, and incredibly helpful in helping obtain the relevant information from my referring doctor's office. (You'd think that would be easy, but the referring office was difficult to work with, and Linda was very helpful with the legwork so that I didn't have to spend so much time on the phone.)The physical therapist I saw, Cait Van Damm (OTD, OTR/L, RYT-500) made such a difference for me. This was my first time seeing a physical therapist for pelvic floor health. I came to Cait for gastro intestinal issues and I saw her twice a week for a month - I only stopped because I moved out of state. Cait performed abdominal massage in the sessions and taught me breathing practices, vagus nerve self-massage, and other physical therapy techniques I can do by myself. During this brief time I was attending these visits, my GI issues improved immensely. Cait has also reached out to check on how I'm doing, has offered telehealth follow up, and helped find recommended providers in my area. Additionally, she offered to discuss pelvic health with me holistically, including other issues beyond GI, and she provided helpful care in that regard as well.Cait was always communicative, consensual, friendly, compassionate, and approachable. She also came off very down to earth and funny, which helped me feel more relaxed. Gastro issues can be so mysterious and Cait demonstrated expertise and careful consideration in deciding what the next best steps or exercises should be for me. Cait demonstrated trans-specific knowledge and care that is unfortunately so rare in the medical field.Overall I can recommend Cait Van Damm as a provider who is incredibly smart, skilled, and caring.
Jeanne Traxler: Chris is an excellent Physical Therapist. He meets you where you are and understands what you know. I am a dance person, so I have a lot of body knowledge and Chris has been very good at helping me to regain function after an injury. He 'gets' my starting point, which helps me trust his recommendations for the therapy. I am improving.
E Adams: I've been going there off and on for years. Marissa M is wonderful to work with. She's attentive, compassionate, and above all, effective. The new office space is icing on the cake.
C. C. Colburn: Ryan O Hallohan= Best massage therapist in Boston. Joint Ventures is a great PT facility!
Sarah Margaret: Staff was very kind and helpful! My physical therapist Conlan was extremely knowledgable and created a great personalized program for me.
Annie Short: Cait Van Damm was absolutely great - she's super knowledgeable, listens well, is caring and fun, and helped me understand and improve my condition. The office staff at JV made it all work smoothly as well. I highly recommend Cait and the office.
Jacqueline Miller: Very hard sell .The physical therapist spent a long time using up my scheduled time not doing any work. Billed my insurance company for time he did not work. Wrote notes that he gave me exercises to do at home - which he did not do. I would have liked that. Wasted a lot of my time and got paid for work when he would not work.
Stephan Jacobs: Chill and effective. Skilled and caring people.
Louisa Monahan: Joint Ventures is great! Kyle is very knowledgable and has been super helpful in helping me regain motion and get stronger.
Mary Schipa: The best-trained practitioners and patient, caring help with chronic issues that I have found in the Boston area.
SUN JIN MOON: Friendly staff and physical therapists. I am pleased to go through rehabilitation process with Phil. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Recommend to try the physical therapy if you are injured.
Samantha L: I have seen a lot of improvement in my neck and back pain since I have started going here. I've tried chiropractors in the past and it's been continued service. For once, I am seeing improved service. Unfortunately, I have had some issues with my insurance and they have taken steps to work with them, which I appreciate. Instead of making me do it on my own.
E Aguilar: Professional and friendly environment. They offered me different approaches to treat the issue with my shoulder and I was able to choose what makes me more confortable. Easy access too!
Allison LH MacNabb: I found Cait Van Damm at Joint Ventures Kenmore Square by looking for covered physical/occupational therapists through my insurance. I really lucked out because she is GREAT! I saw her for postpartum healing/strengthening and I was amazed with the progress I made during our time working together. Cait is super knowledgeable and tailors your work and exercises to your individual situation. She is also a genuinely awesome person and fun to work with! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking pelvic floor physical therapy, whatever your reason. It was very easy to sign on as a patient at Joint Ventures - their website and initial survey was very easy to navigate and I received a call back quickly. Linda Nguyen, the administrative assistant, is super helpful with scheduling and sorting out insurance. She is always cheerful - a great person to see each time you walk in! I would not hesitate to work with Cait, Linda and Joint Ventures again should I need PT/OT in the future.
Michael Gruenbaum: Recently I was a patient of Danielle Eilert, the manager at Joint Ventures office at Kenmore Square. I had come down with arthritis , a swollen hip joint. My orthopedic doctor recommended a Cortisone shot, but said I should first try out Physical Therapy. After a few weekly sessions, I realized that the exercises that Ms. Eilert had me work on in addition to massages of the sore area, were really helping and in fact, the arthritis pains soon disappeared, so there was no need for a Cortisone shot, the duration of which, according to my orthopedic doctor, was questionable anyway. So I highly recommend Joint Ventures, and Ms. Eilert in particular - she is very knowledgeable about all the body parts and knows what she is doing.
Elana von der Heyden: I had an amazing experience at Joint Ventures! Cait was so attentive, skilled and caring, and made me feel so incredibly comfortable! Could not recommend more.
Sara Harris: After needing back surgery in December, Joint Ventures was there to help me start my road to recovery as soon as I got the OK to start physical therapy. From emailing me videos and images of the best stretches and exercises to answering all my questions in person, Phil has been great to work with. My strength is improving daily and you can’t ask for much more than that!
Joan Sarles Lee: I attend physical therapy at the Kenmore Square location and Ali is my physical therapist. I've had a lot of PT in the Boston area but this practice has provided the most thorough, knowledgeable and friendly service I've received. I love having my exercises on a phone app. Ali is very responsive and successfully helped cure my achilles tendonitis which had been lingering for over a year. I strongly recommend this practice.

Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Fitness: what do users think?
Andrew Heim: Clark & the team at Joint Ventures are fantastic! Helped cure my pain in no time.
Janice Seidman: Courteous, professional, pleasant and best of all PT that helped my prob!
Nicholas Colucci: Dedicated and personable team who are genuinely concerned with the rehab of their clients
Catherine Harris: Personable and knowledgeable staff and practitioners. Samuel Caretti has been a great PT: hands-on, encouraging, challenging but not too challenging. Takes time every session to carefully assess my shoulders’ progress—and their lingering difficulties. Adjusts his approach a little each time, on the fly if necessary, in response to my feedback on the exercises and to his hands-on findings. Is always watching my movements to assess my functional abilities in action. He does not impose preexisting assumptions on the situation ever. I love that. Great with hands-on stretching and muscle release techniques. I’d recommend him to anyone for shoulder problems.
Alan Silver: I am an 83 yr old man with a number of underlying non-infectious health conditions. In late July of 2022, I "over did it" with my right shoulder and produced lots of pain. I went to a Doc who has had considerable experience in treating upper body muscle damage. He thought my injury was quite common and urged me to work with a PT. I was hesitant to do so and initially treated my injury with only Tylenol (1000 mg, 2x per day) but that produced scarcely any pain reduction and no increase in strength..I therefore decided to try the nearby Joint Ventures Physical Therapy firm at their Prudential Center location but I wanted the most experienced therapist at their site. The Administrator urged me to sign me up with "Megha" who had the most years of experience (both in TX and at the Prudential location). She also has a DPT.We started in late September @ 2x/week. We finished in late December but would have finished about two weeks earlier as illness and Dr appointments interrupted our efficient schedule.Megha is mature beyond her years, sensitive to this patient by cancelling her sessions with me when she became ill.Professionally, she started with exercises found effective with other rotator cuff patients. Because my poor posture compromised my rate of recovery, she tested me frequently for changes in my range of motion and pain intensity, ultimately settling on nine (9) exercises that she and I felt were most effective in speeding up my recovery while minimizing pain. All those selected exercises were available to her patients, via video, with typed superimposed directions that I was able to use at home, regardless of the date or time. Those exercises done at home provided info as to how I was progressing each week, and to ask questions of Megha, as to how I might modify the exercise to be better in tune with my changing physical condition. Megha answered my questions both via the website as well as when I showed up for our twice a week appointments. As my right shoulder is much stronger now, and free of pain, she suggested I check back with her in about three (3) months to discuss my progress and decide if I want to resume appointments for more shoulder work or redirect her efforts at helping to improve my posture.Megha is the real deal and I am more than satisfied with the way things worked out.As we all know, you get out of your time spent (work, sports, etc.), whatever you put into it. That certainly applies to PT exercises and your speed and degree of recovery from an injury.Megha is terrific and I highly recommend her.Alan.
kara gruver: Excellent PT. Highly reccommend
Sophia Graves: Really awesome staff, everyone is super helpful!
Sylvia green: Clark Berger is an ideal therapist. He is optimistic, patient, caringas well as experienced and capable.
DW R: Chris Rusch is super knowledgeable and helped me with my ankle pain. I played soccer ~3 times a week and suffered from very bad ankle pain, but Chris taught me great exercises that were really helpful in relieving that pain. Highly recommended!
Ein Nelson: Clark is a very competent physical therapist. He wholistically targets the areas/muscles that are linked to the injury (knee) so the problem site is strengthened. He is professional, engaging, and caring, and listens well to my reaction to each exercise and he adjusts them accordingly. I have gained more strength and have greatly improved my stability by executing the exercises at the sessions and take-home drills. I highly recommend him.
Fred Pratt: Very professional and very convenient. I would use their service again with question.
Robert Lambert: JV is the best place I’ve been to for physical therapy (and unfortunately, I’ve been to several). The staff is friendly, my appointments have been on schedule and my therapist has been fantastic…very knowledgeable and listens to my concerns. The place is hard to find though…just go to Boston Sports Club in the Pru and you’ll see the sign to the left of the front desk. I recommend this place highly.
Joshua Bodner: Very good experience here so far.
Oommen Abraham: The staff are very welcoming, prompt and are accommodating to each of your needs. I’ve worked with Christian at the Prudential center branch and he does a great job in therapy, giving you confidence in your recovery after each session. I would definitely recommend this place!
Tracey Madden: Clark is an amazing physical therapist. His high level of expertise, nurturing care for his patients and wonderful sense of humor make it an absolute pleasure to work with him. He also has an incredible ability to educate his patients on the workings of the human body - which has really helped me understand the 'why' behind the exercises he recommends - which in turn makes me want to do them more often! I'd highly recommend him & the JV group to anyone looking for great PT care!
Susan M.: I went to Joint Ventures on the recommendation of a friend and I am very happy with the care and concern for my well-being. I have been debilitated by arthritis in my hip and lower back, and due the pandemic I became a real couch potato. But I believe Joint Ventures will get me moving again !
Elaine Nassif: Being able to get Lynn as my message therapist was the best thing possible! Her calming manner and detailed instructions were easy to follow. I am grateful for the treatment I received here! Elaine Nassif
Alex Kolbin: I was pleasantly surprised to learn that all PT sessions are 1:1. At other PT facilities I have felt abandoned and forgotten, but Joint Ventures does things right. I’ve had sciatica symptoms for the past 2 years and Ally has been a tremendous help so far. Highly recommend coming here if you have been experiencing frequent pain. All staff seems highly knowledgeable!
Jeffrey Day: I highly recommend Joint Ventures Prudential. From per-registration, to reception, to the therapist, all was professional and efficient. The staff is friendly and professional. I'm only past me second visit and I feel positive results with the issue I am visiting them to overcome.
John Gallo: Torn my ACL and went to Prudential location for PT. Convenient and competent.
mark Greenberg: Great staff. Very helpful. Excellent PT!

Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Fitness: what do users think?
Ilana Heisler: I've had a wonderful experience working with Caitlin at JV Downtown Crossing. I have been a patient here for the better part of the last two years. Caitlin is incredibly attentive, detail oriented and challenged me every session. I cannot recommend her and JV enough!
Lauren Flynn: I have been working with Steph at the downtown location for a while and I can't speak more highly of her. Her approach to PT is creative, smart, and caring. I have had other PT experiences before and I wish I found her first. I am a weightlifter and she takes that into account a lot while treating and I really appreciate how knowledgeable she is about what I do. Steph rocks and I am so lucky to work with her!

Shae Allison: I was able to schedule a consultation on short notice after a skiing accident.Joint ventures staff made sure to review my out of pocket costs before my first visit. Appointments are 1:1 so you get specialized attention — which I assumed was normal, but apparently is not always the case.James was immediately able to tell I had ligament damage in my knee and provide sound advice for next steps. After my MRI reading posted to my patient portal he responded with his impression really quickly which gave me some peace of mind while I waited for the doctor to review the results with me (most notably, a complete PCL rupture). He’s been very optimistic and encouraging throughout my non-operative rehab — I would recommend joint ventures to anyone needing physical therapy!

Thanks to her guidance and support, I feel stronger and more empowered than ever. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate postpartum physical therapist.

Kennedy Brothers Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Zach Eaton-Rosen: My wife injured her back while we were here on vacation, so we stopped in to see if she could be seen urgently. They fit us in on the next day and were extremely helpful (and reasonably priced as well!). Thanks for saving our vacation :)
Mimi Kantor: I was given a list of PT places after being diagnosed with both knee and ankle injuries. I called KBPT and made an appointment. They gave me a full evaluation and found some issues the doctors hadn't. I was supposed to have 6 weeks of PT but between doing the work and their fantastic program, I was discharged after 4. The staff is really friendly, knowledgeable, and super professional. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the place could use an update to make it a little nicer looking. Other than that, it's a great place to get your groove back!
Adam Margolin: Jake and his team are truly exceptional in their field. They offer a unique “walk in anytime” service that provides max flexibility to squeeze in PT sessions that fit into any busy schedule. Expect word class treatment from good people who genuinely show and interest and care about every patient/client. I have had several injuries over the years the KBPT have helped me work through and can’t recommend them enough.
Erin Cohen: I had an A+ experience at Kennedy Brothers PT at the Downtown Crossing location. The team of Sam and Mitchell made PT fun. They were professional, knowledgable, and got me back to regular activity. Sam genuinely cares by getting to know each client. He was competent and taught me many stretches that I still utilize. Mitchell takes his role at KBPT very seriously and does his job with a huge smile on his face, which instills great confidence in his clients. I tell anyone I can to check out KBPT. The best workouts I've ever done! Thanks, Sam and Mitchell!
Joshua Alper: I have received physical therapy several times over the years, beginning with successful recovery from knee surgery in 1997 at the recommendation of the surgeon. Many of my family members, friends, and colleagues have also received PT from Kennedy Brothers, all successfully and with a return to fully active lives. The close personal attention and care offered by Jake Kennedy and his staff are first rate, and the jovial atmosphere of this working gym adds to the experience.
maddy karsten: Jake Kennedy and all of his staff are so friendly and helpful. I came into Kennedy Brothers PT very stressed out as I was injured training for a marathon, but they quickly helped me figure out a plan to rehab my injury and I am back to new. I enjoy my time there each week and find it a relaxing and therapeutic environment for my body and mind. Jake is a wonderful man and I would recommend KBPT to anyone, any age with any injury or pain. Thank you KBPT!!!!!
Margaret O'Meara: I was treated with great compassion and respect relative to my program put in place by Jake to give me every opportunity to get better. I appreciated the flexibility in terms of availability of staff and hours. Working i was able to make my commitment over 6 days and long hours suited for my schedule.Great staff and good supervision from Jake.
Henry Naughton: As someone who had two surgeries prior to visiting Kennedy Brothers, I have seen the inside of many physical therapy offices. With that being said Kennedy Brothers is the best. I came in with extreme lower back pain and in just a few months I am now symptom free. Sam and Jake are both extremely knowledgeable and will consistently work with you in finding new exercises to progress your training and relieve your pain. Allen, Mitchell, Willy, and Kevin are all also very helpful in aiding your recovery process in helping you with exercises and being very kind and friendly along the way. Thanks again KBPT. Best PT in Boston.
Anne White: I first came to Kennedy Brothers with such severe lower back pain that I could not walk more than three blocks without needing to stop. Jake Kennedy is tremendously knowledgeable. He developed a special program for my specific needs - and I no longer have lower back pain!!! And, by the way, Jake is a terrific person!
Marina Lavagnino: Knowledgeable, kind and effective! These folks know how to help. We are very lucky to have this resource in Downtown Boston.
Daniel Omstead: KBPT is excellent. Jake and Sam are really terrific physical therapists and extremely nice people. Mitchell and the other assistants are also great. I can't say enough good things about them all. Thanks
Neil Lupton: Jake Kennedy is amazing. I have been visiting Kennedy Brothers for over 15 years and Jake has helped see me through 2 knee replacements, 2 hip replacements, other surgery plus other musculoskeletal problems. Jake very consistently and accurately diagnoses problems, and designs personalized PT programs to help address them. He is also very accurate on the time required to address a problem and eliminate it by PT. If other medical treatment is needed, Jake will suggest that. He is extremely careful to avoid pain and to avoid exercises which might cause harm. Kennedy Brothers is a great place.
Edward Hershfield: Kennedy Brothers has been amazing in helping me recovered from tendon surgery. Their care, patience and dedication are unmatched. Jake and every other person truly care about how I am doing and take a personal interest in my progress. I recommend them without qualification.
David Franklin: 8 weeks into therapy for torn rotator cuff and I'm finally able to throw a baseball with my son again - Thank you Jake and Kennedy Brothers Team, you guys do so much more than help people overcome injury and surgery - deep impact into family and quality of life!!
Anne Keyworth: They know what they're doing, and they will put as much into you as you put into your recovery. I started going 8 weeks ago for a stress fracture in my foot. I've seen a huge change in my strength and Jake was able to teach me out to maintain - and more importantly, build - my endurance and cardio fitness so that I'd be able to run the Boston Marathon in a few weeks. Today I saw the results and am amazed at what I was able to do not having run in 2 months. I don't feel behind in my training and I feel like the added strength I now have will be immensely helpful. It's 100% because I followed Jake's advice, came in regularly for strength training, and trusted the process. The time commitment is real (I usually spend about 2.5-3 hours there MWF) but if you are invested, they are, too. The aides are amazing and remember everything about everyone, and they work really hard and efficiently to run what is usually a busy environment.
Gregory Priborkin: I fall in love with all professionals at Kennedy Brothers. Unfortunately during last 6 month I had not very good progress in treating me shoulder with several different PT offices. My coworker recommended me try the Kennedy brothers PT. Jake evaluated my condition and I trusted him immediately. His staff is very friendly, supportive and very helpful. The whole atmosphere in the office makes you to believe that you are in the right path. After several visits are started to feel improvements. Jake constantly evaluates my conditions and always recommends new exercises.Thank you Jake, Allen, Jessica, Mitch!
Sarah Griffith: I've been to KBPT several times to address issues caused by osteoarthritis. Jake spends real time with each patient to identify the issue. He doesn't limit his expectations of what you can achieve and works with you to push yourself as hard as you want. I've repeatedly found that he's been able to address each issue as it arises and develop solutions that I can take back to my home gym. Because of Jake, I'm still hiking, canoeing, biking, and enjoying life.
Susan Keliher: Kennedy Bros. is simply the best!!! Compassionate and professional care with a smile. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.
Jennifer DuPont: Cannot recommend KBPT enough, it was the best experience I have had with PT. I saw George for neck issues and made great progress in improving my range of motion, upper body strength, and reduction in pain. George is extremely knowledgeable, upon my first visit he knew exactly what was wrong with my neck before even reading an MRI report from my doctor. A great place to be for PT!
Majd Zarhani: Very pleasant experience! Jake and the whole staff are extremely involved in helping you improve which makes everything a lot easier.
Noura Howell: It's true that, when you go in to meet with Jake so he can evaluate your condition, you will have to wait a lot longer than you expect. This time delay can be frustrating, but I think it's easily worth it given the other amazing aspects of this place. When you go in for regular physical therapy visits, you don't have to schedule them and you can go in whenever you want, 6am - 10pm most days.Jake is very good at what he does. He seems to immediately understand what is causing your pain and what therapy you need to get better. The aids who work with you during regular physical therapy visits are super helpful, kind, and friendly. Most of all, though, I love the atmosphere. Everyone there is friendly, upbeat, and supportive. This was the encouragement I needed to get better.

Sustained Fitness and Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Andrew Wong: Got in a last minute session with Ryan to prep for my Boston Marathon and deal with my neck and shoulder issues. He was patient and proactively reached out to have a pre-session just to nail down on areas of focus for the session. After a few exercises I immediately felt better. He also followed up and encouraged me to continue with the exercises so I could get to the starting line of the marathon. Not only I was able to start, I completed it and earned my Six Stars too! All thanks to Ryan!
Taniel Chan: I started working with Adam B. back in January to treat some lower back pain I was having and to conduct some preventative mobility work given prior injuries. In three short months, I've already seen a marked improvement in my physical health that has allowed me to throw myself back in to my daily activities. Adam is thoughtful in the routines he puts together and helpful in explaining the 'why' behind all that we're doing together.I'd highly recommend the Sustained Fitness team - for their thoughtfulness, professionalism, and customer service.
Emily Inglesi: I've been working with Kyle for only 3 months, however, my training experience has been by far the best one I've had in 20+ yrs. of working with personal trainers. Ryan, Adam and Kyle are physical therapists by training, which I believe is an invaluable asset in understanding the individual needs, limitations and goals of their clients. I appreciate the positive and motivating approach and would highly recommend working with them!
Karen gilman: Adam has brought me back from being in the worst shape of my life to being squarely on the road to the best I can be at 64.Part of the challenge has been to work around existing orthopedic issues, which Adam has done deftly.I highly recommend Sustained Fitness. The sessions have improved my fitness level, and general sense of well being.
Craig Scholl: I found Sustained Fitness when looking for physical therapy for an injury I got while bicycling. I received personalized treatment that supported my recovery and allowed me to get back to the activities I enjoy. My experience is that the trainers do an excellent job of asking questions, listening, and then aligning exercises with my needs. As I healed I transitioned from therapy to training with goals of strengthening my body and reducing future injuries. Working with a trainer gives me confidence in my exercise program and provides me with continuous feedback that allows me to do my best.As a result of working with a Sustained Fitness trainer my strength and flexibility has improved, I feel better about myself, and I feel more confident in my other activities.
Phil Herman: As an avid and long-time distance runner, I've had my share of injuries. But recently they've been piling up, and my running coach advised me to work seriously on leg strengthening as a preventative measure. He interviewed several coaches and hands down said I should go with Sustained Fitness. And, having trained with them for several months now (Kyle in particular), I couldn't agree more. They have provided me with a thoughtful and customized performance-based strength plan, they tweak and adjust the plan to suit my needs, they are extremely knowledgeable, and just plain fun to work with. Most importantly for me, they are PT's as well, so they understand risk and how far they can safely push me. No doubt I have progressed more quickly as a result, and I've always felt they knew where to draw the line. And, for those with challenging schedules, the trainers work interchangeably so there's always someone free to accommodate your schedule. I recommend them without reservation.
Jonathan DeSimone: Ryan and Adam are terrific. I trained with Ryan regularly for 4 years. He helped me gain a lot of strength at my pace. The atmosphere he and Adam have created at SF is really positive. I always looked forward to training, regardless of how hard I ended up working
Jennifer Regan: I’ve been training with the Sustained Fitness team for 5+ years and over that period have had an opportunity to work with all 3 of their physical therapists; Ryan, Adam and Kyle. They are ALL great to work with, very knowledgable & personable, and foster a welcoming and friendly environment. I always look forward to my workouts there! They have helped me through lower back pain, neck pain, and the general aches and pains that come with sitting at a desk 50-80 hours a week. What I appreciate the most is how they tailor my workout to address my specific goals. Over the years, I’ve worked with Ryan the most and he is always really good about providing alternatives in the moment to accommodate how my body or mind is feeling that day. Ryan also gives me combinations of exercises to encourage me to be active when I’m not at the studio. In addition he consistently checks in on my overall wellness (activity, hydration, diet, sleep, and stress levels) and will provide reminders or helpful tips for getting back on track. I would highly recommend the experts at Sustained Fitness!
Marilyn Rivero Koutrakis: Great experience !! I wanted to get in shape for my daughter’s wedding , great results !!. I love the fact that they are so knowledgeable, not only are they personal trainers but also physical therapist .They are gentle but effective and in tune with what I needed to get in shape .Highly recommend them👍
Haley Goodman: Sustained Fitness was awesome! I recently got ACL surgery and Ryan, Kyle, and Adam were integral to having a strong recovery.
Verena Ferraz: Ryan was a great trainer! He was patient, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend working with him. He always made sessions fun and enjoyable.
drew lussier: Top notch establishment. As a personal trainer, I was able to address my own injuries, AND learn new tools to implement with my clients. Ryan is great!!
Rachel Rapp: I've been going to Sustained Fitness on and off for years and cannot overstate how top-notch this team is! Importantly, they all have doctorates in physical therapy, so these guys are experts in body mechanics and will ensure that you are working out SAFELY and efficiently. Most trainers don't even come close to these qualifications--they charge close to the same amount but don't actually have the education to create safe and optimally effective workouts. The Sustained Fitness team has both helped me recover from major injuries (just ran my first post-ACL tear half marathon thanks so them) and get in the best shape of my life. I am so grateful I found them; personal training is an investment, but it's been an extremely worthwhile one for me.
Stephanie Thurmond: I broke my tibia a year ago and Sustained Fitness has helped me not only regain strength and function in my injured leg, but has also changed the way I think about fitness for the rest of my life. The physical therapists at Sustained Fitness use evidence-based strength and resistance training to teach you how best to avoid injury during exercise and in life. If you want physical therapy and personal training that is backed by science, and to avoid pseudoscientific fads that waste your time, I highly recommend Sustained Fitness.
Chris Paduano: I have worked closely with Adam and Ryan for the past 5 years. I am a personal trainer in Back Bay Boston. Anytime I need to refer my clients out for pain, they are my go to Physical Therapists! They are able to isolate and diagnose the problem quicker than I. The communication is what I love best about them. They provide the client and I with the tools and resources that we need to help them succeed. They truly make it a team effort to helping others get back to there true athletic potential.
Robert Miller: There are many moving parts to recovering from an injury – everything from managing the injury itself, to resulting weight gain, to changes in activity levels, to setting new goals and trying to stay on track – and Adam really sorted it all out for me. Sustained Fitness really does take a whole-body approach and helped me understand how so many different factors in aging, injury, and recovery all interact. As I continued to heal I transitioned from physical therapy to personal training and I am pleased with both the goals I have been able to set as a guide and my success in achieving them. There is always more work to be done – and I know I can trust Adam and Sustained Fitness to be a partner and guide in that journey. Thank you!
E Y: Had complete recovery for my rotator cuff tear by working with Ryan at Sustained Fitness and PT. The approach here is different from other PT places I have been to, with a focus on the whole body and science-based movements. Ryan is super patient and pleasant to work with and I’ll be back if I have injuries again (hopefully not lol)
Julie Abbruzzi: Adam is amazing. Not only was he able to get me out of pain, he was able to get me back on the path towards strength. What I liked most was that he connected the movements in the gym to my daily activity in life. Thank you!
Alli Rubin: I’ve been working with Adam for more than a year now. I always look forward to our sessions. He’s helped me stay injury free and feel more confident in my sport. He’s patient and finds creative ways to help me work harder.
Ajay Balaji: Had a great experience with Ryan -- not only is he very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what he does, but he makes an effort to get to know the patient and is happy to answer questions and explain the reasoning behind his exercise programming.
Marcelo Loureiro: Hiring Adam B. as my personal trainer was the best decision I made. I lost 20 pounds while doing personal training with him. Adam is dedicated to his clients and goes above and beyond to help with our specific fitness goals. He is creative, fun, good listener and always wise about healthy ways to change your diet to help with the process. If you are willing to put in the effort Adam will be there for you and you will be meeting your goals in no time ! I highly recommend Adam and Sustained Fitness’ high qualified personnel. Thanks Adam for all your help and motivation!
