H Specter: Das Hotel ist eigentlich sehr schön und super gelegen. Was mich nervt ist, dass mein Sohn seine neuen Schuhe am Abend in der Lobby vergessen(im Ecken, kaum sichtbar) hat, am Morgen waren diese nicht mehr da. Als ich nachgefragt habe, hat die Dame kurz nachgeschaut und meinte, dass die Schuhe nicht abgegeben wurden. Es wurde weder nach meiner Zimmer Nr. gefragt, noch was es für Schuhe waren, erst als ich nachgehakt habe, wurden die Daten aufgenommen. Es wird wohl jemand vom Putzteam diese mitgenommen haben und es ist ja nicht so schwer, herauszufinden wer dort geputz hat. Man stelle sich vor, dass diese Leute das Zimmer reinigen, das sollte in so einem Hotel meiner Meinung nach nicht vorkommen!

Silvio Delgado: Hotel is very well placed and good part of personnel is quite nice. Room is quite spacious and was clean when arrived. Guest service is not good. Reception people think they are gods. For you only the rules. Very low valeu for money. Not enough features to compensate. Breakfast not included. No room service. How could at this level of price they don’t clean your room? Or don’t offer you a spoon if you ask for it? I heard from the team here and I experienced here: “we do not clean unless you asked.” Terrible experience with Hyatt.
David Bobrowsky: Loved the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue is that the hotel had a pool listed when we booked our reservation but it turns out that the pool has not been working since COVID and will not be returning. When I complained I received an email response from the Hyatt Regency Boston Assistant Front Office Manager and he said "... we have taken down all references and ads regarding the pool from our website to ensure that our guests have accurate information about our amenities. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused if you were expecting to use the pool during your stay." This did not help those who made a reservation before they took down the reference to it. Would I stay here again, absolutely! Was I disappointed yes, but I will get over it.Walkability: Centrally located in downtown Boston, did not take our car out of the garage from the time we arrived till we departed.

They nickel and dime you everywhere, the front desk didn’t know any of the answers I asked (even the parking), i could understand if she was training but I don’t think that was it. Restaurant was not worth the money and the room views were not that great. Disappointed that there was no where to sit outside, would have been nice to have coffee out there. For the amount we paid, we could have stayed somewhere closer to central Boston.

Sarah Townsend: The views from this hotel were outstanding, the rooms were nice, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast options were very good. We got our breakfast To Go each day which was half price in comparison to dining in the restaurant. My biggest complaints are the fact that housekeeping was inconsistent. On our first full day, the room was cleaned/restocked, and when it was not cleaned the next day, we were told housekeeping is only available per request since the pandemic. We weren’t told this at check-in nor did we request it the day before when it happened so were confused. The staff, however, were very nice and helpful for the most part. The other drawback of this hotel is the location. If you want to just get out and walk around in Boston, this isn’t the spot as you have to either take the hotel shuttle to the airport to catch the train into town (very inexpensive but takes a while depending on where you want to go) or Uber/Lyft which is quick but gets pricey if doing this repeatedly for several days. Overall, it was a good stay but we’ll likely stay in a more central location the next time we visit this great city. Tip: go for a long weekend in April when the Marathon is happening as there’s so much going on and it’s lots of fun!

Twitchy: Very good hotel with excellent location for visiting BostonThe Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall is a very nice hotel located in the downtown area of Boston. It was perfect for our stay to attend the Boston Marathon. The hotel’s location is close to bakeries/coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, drug stores, public transit stations and all the other amenities you’re likely to need during your stay. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to Boston Common, TD Gardens, Chinatown, the Italian restaurant district, the waterfront and many of the historical attractions.Check-in and check-out was painless and fast. Our deluxe double room was relatively spacious with a flat-screen TV, good Wi-Fi and 2 comfortable beds. We requested daily housekeeping and the housekeeping staff were friendly and did a very good job looking after our room.

Really, really lovely staff.The rooms were nice, automated drapes, decent bathrooms (admittedly, I believe my room was likely intended for ADA compliance so the shower was a "drive in" style for wheelchairs.). Every day there was room service and the room was left nice each time.If I had one complaint, the attached bar's breakfast was easily stupidly priced and wasn't that good for the price. You're better off walking somewhere else.Speaking of... the location. Fantastic. You can walk to so many spots from here. Take the train, go to the TD Garden, walk to the North End, check out Faneuil Hall or the old State House. Great location, easy to walk everywhere.

Brock Holmes: I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston Cambridge for a 4-day conference and business trip, and overall, I was pleased with my experience. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay, and the conference facilities were top-notch. The location is great too, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby dining options. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although I did experience a bit of noise from neighboring rooms on occasion. Despite this minor issue, I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency Boston Cambridge to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained with a beautiful view of the river ( my colleagues who didn’t have the river view were less impressed). The fitness room was newly built and excellent. The one let down was the restaurant which has a limited offering, no buffet and the young , inexperienced staff often got the orders mixed up.
Jake Ramirez: I went from a 2-star hotel to what I thought was a 4-star hotel on my last stay in the Boston area with the wife. Couldn't have been more wrong in terms of how the rooms compared. I read another review that said the hotel looked dated, and it did. The silicone on my shower head and shower handle were coming off, the carpet was torn entering the bathroom, our mirror was chipped, the room was smaller than the 2-star room, no microwave. It left a lot to be desired given the "4-star" status. The location wasn't horrible as we did use the shuttle service to the drop-off places they had, and the staff was very friendly. It was a quiet hotel, which was perfect given that we were only there for one night prior to heading home.

KIRS: My partner and I just checked in today and the room that we got was not clean. It smelled funky, lots of stain everywhere, the closet door doesn’t even close when you open it, and there were spots of blood(?) on the bathroom wall near the toilet and some spots right under the sink. after several hours of staying in the room, our heads started aching really bad. it could be issues with the ventilation (saw another review about this as well) and we felt significantly better after switching rooms. the A/C was also obnoxiously loud. around 8 PM, we went to the front desk to ask for a different room and the guy that helped us was nice about it. though there was another employee who was wearing all white (I assume he was the manager? not sure if he was indian or hispanic) was rude and invalidated us about the room having spots of blood. he continued by saying “that’s not blood. we check for bio hazards here” with so much attitude and didn’t even look at us. even if it wasn’t blood, you can’t expect guests to assume that it isn’t when it looks exactly like it. if you check for “bio hazards” consistently, then how come majority of your reviews are about sanitary issues? (i.e. hair everywhere, massive stains, broken furnitures, funky smell, etc). if that dude was the manager, he probably should reconsider his position because other employees acts more like a manager than he does. he definitely ruined our night and we have two more weeks here. we’ve stayed at so many different hotels, ranging from 3 to 5 star hotels and this is by far the WORST in terms of cleanliness and customer service. they also treat everyone the same despite having an explorist or globalist status at hyatt.
mark hodder: The Hyatt Place was a great 1 night stay for us. My daughter and i were in town visiting Tufts and BU. This proprty is located less from a mile from Tufts Admisions.The room was HUGE with adesk, sitting area, wet bar, couch, and chairs... it was all a bit dated, but it was clean, and while there were repairs needed, there was a sign in the elevator that they would be doing a full remodeling in 2023... so i don't need to get too specific.The Breakfest was good and filling with lots of options, i had read realery reviews about no hot options, and this was not the case the day we stayed there. the breakfest area was very busy, but we still found a table. there was a bus full of students there that day, so perhaps that explains why it was so busy.We also used the hotel shuttle to get dropped off at Tufts. You need to sign up for the shuttle in the morning by calling the driver... front desk will give you the card. best to plan to arrive at your destination a bit early as the shuttle will hit several destinations on one trip. our trip took about 25 minutes. the driver would have also returned to pick us up if needed.

William Brown: Beds are great and everything is clean, but the property overall is in real need of overdue modernization. The parking garage beneath the building is limited to one single lane, used for both entrance and exit, and it’s dangerous for that reason. The common areas are really worn out.

Maureen Tobin: The team of Raymond and Ramona at Hyatt Place Medford are fantastic. Raymond at the front desk was kind, efficient, welcoming and full of relevant touring information. Ramona in the breakfast area was similarly kind, efficient and quick to assist the crowd on a very busy weekend. They made our stay so enjoyable. The sign in the elevator says room renovations are starting in 2023…. If they upgrade the rooms and fitness area to match the skill of their staff, this will become my favorite Boston hotel. Thanks Raymond and Ramona for a fun weekend.
Tiffay Marie: Had to come back and change review I’m assuming it was management because the desk staff is amazing and I didn’t recognize the voice but I got called at 10 minutes to 11 to remind me checkout is at noon smh that’s motel behavior and off putting as hellJust be warned the restaurant is not a restaurant its muffins cupcakes a salad some drinks and m&ms and milky ways but I loved my stay so who cares
C T: Came here as a family of 6, got the larger room to accommodate and it is pretty spacious. Downside for the room, the sofa bed was horrible, my back hurt when I wake up from it and also as i made reservations for 6, they should have more towels and bedding items provided to us.Walkability: There are stores and restaurants that are in walkable distance. I went to a mini Japanese supermarket cvs, and got what i neededFood & drinks: Breakfast has a great variety, love their fresh toast stick, bagel (very soft), and good amount of tea choice.Noteworthy details: Saw a lot of dogs walk around with their owner, happy to know this hotel is per friendly. I want to bring my dog with us next time

Cheryl Bowden: The rooms need updating for sure. The front desk staff was not at all helpful / nice. housekeeping came and left no clean towels I had to ask for them each time they never replaced the shower gel stayed empty the entire time. they never tell you that ride service and food is not available on Mondays. Food service was closed during the week I was there which was a bummer after a long day out. I was amazed at this being a Hyatt property. The noise was awful the entire time, heard everything going on outside all night. I would not recommend this hotel. go where you get more comfort for the money.
William Succoso: Booked a group stay here and they went above and beyond to accommodate. From access to the meeting rooms, to setting up pull outs for the rooms that had 3 people, the made our stay easy peasy. Shout out to Mike A. In the sales office for all his help pre and post the event
Tara Sharp: It was a lovely hotel but RAMONA made it one of the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel! She was so sweet and kind and helped us when we needed it most. She treated us like royalty when she didn’t have too. Ramona, if you’re reading this, I am so glad to have met you. Thank you a million!Noteworthy details: Ask for Ramona and she will make your day so much better!
Raj S: We stayed for one night. The hotel is nice, rooms are decent. Heating did not work optimally though. Breakfast is included and is excellent. Would stay again if coming back to Boston.

Melinda Ebelhar: It's 2:30 a.m Sunday morning as I write this. I went to bed at 10 because I have to be up at 5 to get to the airport. This is the third time I've been woken up by the freeway noise. Hotel is right next to a busy freeway, and although my 8th floor room is spacious it apparently has no soundproofing. It's given me a headache. Room itself is fine, staff was very nice, but that can't overcome the noise. I'll never stay here again.
