Modern Pastry: what do users think?
David Blumberg: Amazing Pastries!!! Boston’s best - I’ve been to several and this clearly is the best one I’ve had here. Photos show the deliciousness. I sampled several of their works - from a Hostess Cupcake copy to Eclair. Worth the trip and line wait!Cash only.
Jorge Peña: Sin duda los mejores cannolis en Boston!!Una experiencia gastronómica deliciosa acompañada de un rápido servicio al cliente. Imperdible!
Phil Wood: Highly recommend. We taste tested cannoli is Boston on Vacation. This was the best. Other pastries were also top notch.
Lisa: Amazing assortment of pastries & cookies plus cordial service! Line moves so don't be dismayed when you see it on the sidewalk - worth the wait.
Christina Huang: The pastry there is tasty and fresh. A little sweeter than I expected. If you sit in, they take credit card but otherwise only cash, maybe not so convenient for tourists.
Curt LeCaptain: Oh. My. God. I was here for work and stopped in with my team and picked up a few baked goods and the cannoli. My boss informed me "it'll change your life" and damn, it does. They're so ridiculously delicious. I also went back another time to grab a couple different items like their strawberry cheesecake (delicious) and the chocolate covered cheesecake (also delicious). The prices are reasonable enough, the majority of baked goods are $5 each. You owe it to yourself to grab yourself a cannoli. OH... important note: CASH ONLY. Make sure you grab yourself some cash before getting in line.
Earl Schamehorn: It was so crowded it wasn't worth it.
Jodie-Lynn McMullen: So tasty!! There was a big lineup to get in but it moved rather quickly. Important to note that it is cash only! Prices are ridiculously cheap for the quality that you are getting. I'm not the biggest fan of cannoli but these ones were delicious with a wide variety to choose from.Service was friendly and even though it was packed we were still able to get a table.
Garrison Pease: So many baked treats. Loved the carrot cake and cannolis! Something for everyone with a sweet tooth!
Celeste De Palma: Best cannoli in Boston!!! This is controversial but true. This is where flavor lives. Period. Your tastebuds will thank you.I have done serious research over the years and time and time again, Modern's cannoli wins. I'd say Modern, then Bova's, then Royal's (Somerville), and then Mike's.Their pastries are delish, too. But Mike's Boston Cream pie is actually better than Modern's. Either way, Modern is still my favorite pastry shop. The line moves fast, too, so don't fret. Just avoid going duting Memorial weekend... that is just bananas all around the North End
Aaron Coppola: Bonkers crazy amazing good.Drop what you're doing and get there now!
Peter pawlik: Horrible service!!!We wanted to stay in the cafe and no one came to ask us what we would like to order. When we went up to the counter to place an order they told us to sit and wait. The guy was just on his phone totally ignoring us.So we just got up and left
Sebastian M: Clasico de Boston. La pastelería americana tradicional es representada por el Modern Pastry. Es ideal para pasar cannolis o alguna otra delicia.
Areeb Akhter: Their vanilla cupcake was not good - the frosting felt frozen almost as if it was made very early morning or the night before. If you come here, I would suggest getting a cannoli because that Hass to be made fresh in front of you, as opposed to some of their premade itemsThere is a bar at the bottom of the pastry shop, which is almost like a speakeasy, which is kind of cool
Lisa Sanchez: Love this place! Their cannoli are the best, not too sweet and you can taste the ricotta instead of just tasting sugar like other places.
Paul Ladd: If you are one of those people who looks at something and says, "Is it worth the calories", when it comes to Modern, the answer is yes. Their reputation proceeds itself and does not disappoint. There is a reason that there is almost always a line. It's freaking amazing. The cannolis are no joke. I should have opted for the smaller version just to be able to experience more of the options they offer. The traditional is as good as it gets though. Perfectly crisp shell, smooth creamy ricotta filling and loaded with chopped pistachios. And if you're a tiramisu freak, don't pass this one up. Great counter service too.
Seb T: Still the best cannolis and lobster tails (pastries), year after year! They are to die for. Of course there’s always a long line outside but service is pretty fast (and very expedited) and waiting’s all worth it.
allison huang: line moves fast, cash only, cannoli!!
Gabriel Tierre: Overpriced cannolis, horrible coffee. Nothing special. A definition of tourist trap. Ps: they only accept cash.
Isaac Cloud: Best cannoli ever created.
Ian Danquah: I went here for the cannolis and was not disappointed at all. You can create your own by selecting the shell, filling and additional toppings.

Arthur's Italian Pastry Shop: what do users think?
Kaycee Corwin: Sunday morning not as many options as I had hoped for, but the canolis were amazing.
Kevin Murray: Amazing food and service.
Eric Dobson: By far some of the best pastries I've eaten. Their lemon square is to die for. This little pastry shop is amazing!
Michael Moebius: Great cannoli, cream puffs, and cheesecake (probably means what we haven't tried is also good!). Greatly appreciate that the pastry isn't overly sweet, letting the rest of the flavors shine.
Mike Cruz: By far some of the best cannolis I have ever eaten. Staff was outstanding and the history was a bright example of the American Dream. Love this place and will be back soon.
Jonathan Michaud: They do great stuff. Go to place for cookies and pastries.
richard conti: Terrible customer service, I walked in to make purchase and the lady came from back of the counter and had to put the phone down before making a comment of customers keep sneaking in . I ask if she was talking about me .she said yes with a attitude and said the door bell is not working so not my problem .then I asked for one item Togo and her attitude came again just one , needless to say I told her to forget it and I will never go back , to bad during these times .
Jenny Lind: The woman that served us that day is AMAZING, she's super kind and friendly. For sure, excellent customer service. The pastries were delicious. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. Go show her some love and support.
6the_ One7: Absolutely wonderful service and the food was amazing....
May: Amazing. I literally just tried one of their pastries for the first time and felt compelled to write a review afterward. I just moved into the area a couple of months ago and always wanted to stop by. One day after work I just decided it was time to see what’s inside and I didn’t realize they were closing early. But the lady inside was kind to give me some time to choose something and I got to sample a cookie. They had a wide selection of pastries which made it difficult to choose but I ended up bringing home a cream puff type pastry that was filled with some kind of custard, whipped cream, and raspberry. I finished the whole thing and I loved that it was chilled at the right temperature for eating. I can’t wait to try their other pastries and to bring some into work once the whole team has been vaccinated. I’m looking forward to sharing this gem of a place with family and friends.
Afsana Jahan: Pastry is very good, service okay
Greg Rees: Great cannolis — great service. No need to drive into Boston and wait in line at mikes!
Chip Terry: Nicest folks ever--and am amazing Cannoli. My first visit. I will be back. Thank you for brightening my day.
Anthony Gallo: Nice and fresh....mmmm
Nancy Attar: First visit to this bakery and I purchased the Italian rum cake and pastries. The italian rum cake was soooo good everyone devoured it and wanted to know where I purchased it. The pastries I didn’t even get to try they just quickly disappeared. Obviously, everyone loved itToday I picked up a chocolate cake. Know, I’m not a fan of chocolate my son is. It’s his birthday today, so I ordered the cake for him and got him his favorite chocolate cake with chocolate cream. The cake looked beautiful. You can smell how fresh the chocolate cake is. I had a piece, just to make him happy and I actually had to have a second piece. Again, I am not a fan of chocolate on chocolate cakes. This one was very good. Everything I’ve had so far from this bakery has been AMAZING!!!Thanks to the owner for putting out wonderful and amazing Authentic Italian Pastries. And to Vicky who welcomes you with a smile 😊 to whoever comes walking through the door. Thank you, for always putting a smile on my face too! See ya soon!
bella cass: Great atmosphere! Great location. Being from Arlington it was easy to get to. Right on a main streets with parking in the back. This shop is cute and has all the Italia pastry’s you want.Vicky was a pleasure to see and to talk to. She made me feel comfortable and she was easy to talk. Great personality! Love the cakes and theirs pastry too! Freshly made. This is going to be my go to Italian pastry shop from now on. Thanks Vicky!!Customer - Nancy
Mark Colan: Dull Italian pastries
Brian D: Best cannoli in the city .
Danielle Zevolo: Best cakes around!
James McGaffigan: Best pastry in Medford kid. What no?
lauren steckerl: Amazing service, best bakery ive seen.

Mike's Pastry: what do users think?
Lauren Kelly: Best cannolis in Boston. They are large and not overly sweet. They also have a wide selection of other delectable treats to order and enjoy. This is a place you stop and grab your treats to go… no indoor seating. Plan to wait in line. $5.50 cannolis cash only
Ole Gornik: I had the Florentine Canoli and it tasted like what they must be serving in heaven. I am DEFINITELY gonna get another Canoli there tomorrow!
Gracelyn Foo: Amazing cannolis but deducted one star because the lady who served us was so rude. We were getting the cash out and she repeated herself in a condescending way and proceeds to stare at us throughout the payment process till we left the store.
St.PeteNative: We recently completely a tour of Italy, and never thought cannolis lived up to the hype. The chocolate chip cannoli at Mikes was hands down the best cannoli we have ever had. The boston cream pie was also delicious but seriously stop in to this busy but quick moving bakery
Marta Lazarowicz: Bardzo dobre canollo i duży wybór smaków. O ile nie jesteś bardzo głodny, to polecam jedno na dwie osoby, bo inaczej ciężko podołać.
Sabrina L: There was a lot of hype about this place not to mention seeing a long line . First generation Canadian with Italian /Sicilian roots so I gave it a try . The cannoli we had tasted good and there are many flavours . I was able to tell from the first bite however it’s not made authentically . Lacked the richness, was too light like whipping cream and tasted like icing sugar. The same cream seems to be used for a few different pastries . We found some pastries lacked flavour and we didn’t end up eating them all. The fig cucidatti were soft and chewy . Typically they are made with more of a cookie biscuit base . If you’re wanting something more authentic, I would try a smaller bakery that isn’t making such large batches of their pastries for large crowds.
Keri Dorfeld: Definitely the best cannoli I’ve ever had! Lobster tail was delicious too!
Ben McGuire: Absolutely loved coming here. We came because of the popularity, and I can completely see why. It was packed out, and I imagine it stays like that all day long. I got a Florentine cannoli and it was heavenly. We’d just eaten a big lunch and I struggled to finish eating mine. I recommend coming in between meals if you have the chance. Be aware that they are cash only.
Cheepers _: Absolutely amazing pastries. Boston creme pies and cannolis are to doe for. The lobster claw wasn't my favorite, but the cream inside was delicious. They are cash only, however.
Vicqueline Escalona: The chocolate covered cannoli and chocolate ricotta cannolis are a must try!!!! So delicious, truly some of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. The line looks king but moved fast. Make sure to bring cash!!!! Definitely recommend
Cory Comer: The Florentine Cannoli was AMAZING.
Tim Park: 확실히 달긴하네요, 한번은 먹어봐도 될듯합니다한개 이상먹긴 힘드네요.요즘 빵집들이 상향 표준화되었지요? 큰 기대는 하지마시고 추억 개념으로 드시길
richard meuse: Always great canolli! Cream puff wasn't so great tbh
Felipe Vellozo: The best cannoli I’ve ever tried! Super friendly staff.
A Brady: More cannolis and desserts of the old school than you've ever seen- right in little Italy of Boston.
Rumin Smith: The most amazing cannolis and really big!
manolo Q. L: Excelente...canolis are amazing delicious
Ayzik Kk: Cannoli Cannoli Cannoli
Ryan Wakefield: What a great local treasure.Pistachio flavor is the way to go.
Courtey Winegar: Good prices but the woman that waited on us wasn’t just rude but hostile, slamming around the box and swearing about us under her breath, rolling her eyes, like aggressive. So bizarre when I ordered politely saying please and thank you. When she asked if I wanted powdered sugar I said no thank you and then put sugar on it three separate times, like a mountain of it. I don’t really care about that but it was weird how mean she was, it was such a bummer I didn’t even want to eat the pastry or look at the box. Or ever go to north end again when visiting.

Modern Pastry Shop: what do users think?
Kaycee Corwin: Delicious!! Everyone single thing was amazing. Cash only. ATM im store next to bakery only $2 fee
Justice Fuentes: It’s been the 3rd time I have received pastries with hair in it. Very disgusted. I really wish the employees would wear a hairnet or have their hair tied up. My boyfriend and I do get large amounts of pastries when we come here. It’s quite disappointing having to throw them out due to finding hair strands in them. Likely won’t come back.
Donny Monkevicz: Always great pastries
Mary-Ann Marino: Went to buy pastry after church yesterday to take to my son’s house for dessert after Sunday dinner. With our coffee, we all sampled each of the assortment. We all agreed that the quality of the name Modern Pastry sold in the past is no longer there. I purchased 10 pieces of Italian pastry — 4 ricotta cannoli, 2 sfogliatella, 2 paragina and 2 eclairs. The cannoli shells were stale; taste like they absorbed the stale oder of a musty smelling room or a damp basement…not quite mold, but close to it. The size of the cannoli were very small considering the price. The boiled cream in the paragina was a little off too. I don’t know why, maybe it was imitation vanilla they used. Not their usual boiled cream taste. I make my own boiled cream and it’s pretty simple and is super delish if you use quality products. Needless-to-say, not going back for a while; Modern Pastry is not the Modern Pastry I’m familiar with. My parents grew up in the North End of Boston so I’m very familiar with the bakery of the past. Deeply disappointed.
David Frost: Absolutely love this place! Has the best lemon bars and cannolis! And it's decently priced. Anytime I find myself in MA, I always make a trip here to pick up a few pastries for the road. They normally don't last me long though.
Call me Nehemiah: The lobster roll is harder then me.It’s like trying to bite an actual shellThe strawberry short cake is jelly between bland generic old cakes.I feel bad for everyone who thinks these are quality pastries God bless you all.I can’t recommend this place I suggest you all stay away this is customer abuse !
Erik Hammel: Expensive but always fresh and tasy
Jocelyn Dumesnil: OMG…. Que de belles pâtisseries 👌Les portions sont généreuses et très goûteusesC’est un incontournable !
John Tortelli: Great Italian rum b'day cakes at a very reasonable price as well as many other Italian bakery products.
mary odonnell: I love this bakery. Absolutely the best
Kenneth Nestor: Legendary pastry shop in the North End in Boston. The cheesecake? Um good. I wish I bought a couple extra ones.
lenko tankov: I give them 2 stars as their cakes taste good. However, their business practices are hideous. I ordered a cake, and asked for strawberries as garnish. I pre-ordered more than a month in advance. On pick-up day, they tell me I need to pay them $20 cash for it. I thought it meant at least a dozen, but it turns out it was 7 strawberries cut up. I asked, if 7 strawberries as garnish cost $20, and the girl at the register said “it is already written, so I have to charge it”. I thought it was funny, as she was pointing to a handwritten note, and then took my cash without providing receipt. Never coming back there
Daniela Cafaro: Very disappointed! Went in today to get a zeppole for my mother and her friend and they were old and falling apart. Basically inedible! Not sure if it's just the Medford store but will NEVER be back!
Olivier Saint-Vincent: Best Italian pastry shop in Medford! You have to give a try to the Nutella homemade shortbread cookies !Plus : new addition of shelves with Nutella and Mulino Bianco!
Vicky ——: Best pastries in town
JOHN diperri: Not what i expected for a cheese cake. Bought some many before that where unbelievable
Ellyton Marques Soares: The food that they served to us is very fresh and delicious.
Me Na: The best in Boston!
Paul Scull: The best!
George Ware IV (ABostonArtist.com): Tasty!cash only
Ben: I really love this bakery, particularly their frosting. I am very nit picky with frosting and I can say this place has the best frosting for a bakery I have ever had (emphasis on the half moons). Everything is delicious. I am leaving Mass and honestly I’m not that sad except for the fact I can’t go here anymore. Open a franchise in Boulder please we need you!

Parziale's Bakery: what do users think?
Kristen Fliss: If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run bakery since 1906 (first to introduce pizza to New England), filled with photos on the walls of their lineage, and quality products not overwhelmed by an abundance of choices…classics including Napolitana pizza, breads, cannoli, cookies and pastries…this is a must-stop on your visit to “Little Italy.” You can see the family members working in the back preparing the products. If you’re lucky, Matt will emerge from the back to wait on you. We stopped by several times and he was the reason we kept going back. He was kind, personable, patient and shared some of his family history with us. A visit is more of an Italian bakery “experience” which happens to serve delicious homemade products…the best! Our faves were the cheese pizza, cannoli and macaroon cookies. Stop by…you will not be disappointed!🇮🇹🍕🍰
Mike Devantier: This is hands down the best square pizza I ever had ! The sauce, cheese and some added char is perfect !!! I wish they would ship to me in Michigan !!!Great place , and it’s a must stop !
Shelly Guido: Craving authentic Italian bread, cookies and pizza while in the city for oncology appointments today, we searched the internet and discovered Parziale’s Bakery. Friendly service and delicious food. Thank you Parziale’s - we will be back for more!
Carol: Absolute best secret spot in the North End. Forget the commercialized spots the tourists go to, for great fresh pizza and bread definitely give this incredibly small old school place a try. You will not be disappointed 🍕🍞🥖
James Hickling: simply the best
Daniel Hollis: Good cookies! Supposedly they were the first place to serve pizza in Boston.
Nicholas K.: Was closed. Sign says closed Sundays.
Alex: Excellent bakery and a good compromise between Italian and Italian American products. Pizza was old “paese” style👍🏽
Cara Lyons: Best cannolis and pizza!! We did a blind taste test of cannolis from Parziale's, Bova's, and Modern -- Parziale's was our winner by far!
Jackson Ciocca: Best pizza in Boston.
Neha R. Deshpande: I love mom and pops and really wanted to like this spot. But the square pizza was served luke warm and felt doughy. Looked like it had been sitting out for a while. It was better after coming home and reheating in the oven. At least the bottom had some crisp and was less doughy, but very greasy. I imagine it is decent fresh but unfortunately didn’t get to try it like that. Would go back though to try pastries.
Hidden Gem: I was a little disappointed by the square pizza. Extremely greasy and very soggy. Willing to give it another shot based on reviews. Might call in an order for a pie so I know it’s fresh as opposed to grabbing what’s already on the counter
Karin Cruz Bianchi: Exceptional cookies ! Best in north end
Felice Happy: Authentic, classic and delicious a hidden gem bakery.
Corinne Bennett: You want good REAL North End pizza? This is the real deal!!
Snoop Eastwood: Amazing cookies and pizza! Wonderful Italian bakery!
Nelly Sandoval: Cute & tasty Halloween sugar cookies and great turnovers.
xin fan: I think this is the best bread I've ever had in America, especially the sesame bread👍
arthur papazian: I had the bakery style Sicilian pizza 2 days ago at 1am, technically called sfincione Sicilian style pizza. Meaning spongy, but anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I wanted to know exactly what kind of pizza that is because we had a bakery in watertown called cantones bakery thats been closed more than 20 yrs. They had this pizza and it was soft and (juicy) if that makes any sense. Anyway this is the first place since then that I have found this style or can also be referred to as old style Sicilian pizza. Delicious! Also I believe it's supposed to be eaten at room temperature not heated. Might be personal preference but never had it hot.😋
David Ribovski: What not to like. Simply the best. I will be back. Thank you so much.
Dorian Castro: Very good cannolis!!! Loved the little bakeries ambiance and authenticity. Will definitely be back when we visit Boston again.

Royal Pastry Shop: what do users think?
Cambria Russell: The staff are kind and happy to answer questions. Lots of yummy options!
Celeste De Palma: Secretly holds some of the best cannoli in town. Dare I say, it comes second to Modern's? Yup! Modern's Royal's Bova's Mike's.Oh, but this little bakery has THE BEST Boston creme pie of all of Greater Boston. Unparalleled, hands down. This is one of my all time favorite pastries shop. Another neighborhood gem 💎 ✨️ 👌
George Moore: Was walking by with my wife considering purchasing something but you can see a mouse running around on the floor behind the counter. Eww. Skip this place until they fix their health code issues.
Rosalie Lynne: We always get my mom a birthday cake here every year, and it's always great. Friendly service and wonderful pastries.
Gwen Sregnier: Yum yum cannot go here too often or you should.
Diane Bartholomew: I travel 30 minutes to get pastries from this place, and there are plenty of pastry shops where I live. Need I say more!
Tekie Anday: Good Italian pastry. The flavors are amazing as well. Few things they need to consider: the hours of operation need to be extended so that people can catch them after work hours. The menu needs to be flexible for customers to order their choice flavor at the size of their party. Some flavors aren't available unless you oder them bigger in a party of 35 people or over.
Ricky Sánchez (Ricky): Maintaining over the decades good quality and variety
Hayley Barber: I hate to say anything negative about a small, local business but I walk past this place often and, anytime they’re closed, this place is CRAWLING with mice. Please address this infestation for the safety and health of your devoted customers.
Paul Surette: I got two pastries and a soinach & cheese calzone. Was quite good. Small store which keeps prices down.
Simone R.: Amazing!
Joan Amaral: Royal Pastry has the best whipped cream cakes and Italian cookies. Haven't found any that compare to either of these.
Kelly M: They have the pizza, homemade like my aunt makes like our northern Italian family did. The sweet stuff is great, but they do the pizza RIGHT!
Gould Kathy: it was great
Ananda Mishra: Amazing food for the prices. Its a hidden gem in the neighborhood.
Harry Gordon: Excellent authentic Italian bakery with friendly service
Marcus Böick: Amazing cakes!
Jamie Goodin: Fresh. Very good
sonali srijan: Bought two birthday cakes, the black forest and the strawberry chocolate cake. Both were amazing! The bread wasn’t dry, cream seemed fresh, fruits and the jam between layers went very well overall with the cake. Also loved the fact that it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. Will definitely be my go to place for birthday cakes.
MsStingFan: Great pastries--this shop has been around forever!
Greg Keyser: Best Italian pastry in the Boston area, hands down.

Antoines Pastry Shop: what do users think?

Sai Likhita Rokkam: Great neighborhood bakery. Excellent selection of macrons, pastries and cupcakes. Wide variety. Such a gem
S N: Canoli was nice and fresh. Eclaire was good. Lemon square was the best! Service was fantastic and price was reasonable.
Rebecca Noymer: Just had their cannolis for the first time for Valentine’s Day and am blown away. Better than any cannoli in the north end. Will absolutely be back to try more desserts!
Angela Wood: Always amazing
Reda Ibrahim: Authintic, friendly and and best pinioli cookies in town!!
Phoebe Foley: Each Christmas season we buy the most delicious gingerbread men at this bakery. We fine the staff wonderful. Always eager to gently help you.
M P: My boyfriend has been coming here since he was a kid and brought me here for the first time today. Walking in is the most glorious experience. The sheer quantity of pastries is amazing but the best part of the few steps into the shop is the incredible smell. Yankee candle WISHES they could capture this scent. The young woman at the counter who helped us was so helpful and kind! She helped me grab an assortment of goodies(we even picked up one of her favorites, the lemon square and it was so good.) Everything we bought today looks incredible and tastes even better. If you’re in the area you MUST stop in! 10/10
Jose Pena: This place is AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING IS OUTSTANDING!!
jennifer long: The best bakery around! Better than the North End for many different Italian , old school authentic bakes! But they have other things too that they excel at!! They are consistently fresh and of high quality and never disappoint! (and I'm not easy to please when it comes to authentic Italian pastry)
Katie Passerello: It's not the holidays without Antoines. 40 year long tradition in my family.
Brittany Heller: The best. Kind, helpful service!Thanksgiving eve was crazy busy of course, but the staff remained cool and collective and had a great ticket system to helping customers. Pies and lobster tails are delish!
Christina: Wow. Delicious. The best lemon meringue pie I've ever eaten and I've eaten many. Also ordered 2 cupcakes and gingerbread. This is the bakery of my dreams!
rachael davis: Made such a beautiful custom birthday cake for my daughter! Chocolate with raspberry filling was delicious and more than enough for whole party (40 p). Very affordable as well
Rüdiger F: Die Ausstattung erinnert an die 50-iger Jahre, das Backwerk ist aber sehr lecker
M. Mazz: Forget modern or mikes. This is a great local shop that does pastries right.
Hannah Schram: Absolutely delicious and fresh every time, a mix of old school traditional pastries and specials of their own. Friendly and accommodating staff who always go above and beyond. Love this place!
Fatima Bouirabdane: Good place to buy pastries.
Amir Moghadam: Been coming here for years. Great to pick up some yummy pastries or to even order stuff ahead. Very generous portions.
Ian: Try the florentine cookie canoli.
billy zemouri: I went Sunday at 2:30 pm and they were closed . On their website they close at 3:00 pm .That happened to me twice. They should change it .

Chris D: I would have given zero stars if it allowed. I've had the worst experience of my cake ordering life from here this past weekend. I would never again tell anyone to go here. I will be writing a further review shortly.
A .Lorenzana: Everytime we visit anyone, we get desserts from there. They're so good, everyone always asks us where we get them. The honey bun is my favorite, O-M-G it is soo good and perfectly moist!
Vee Charlez: Good customer service good pastries
Paul Trager: Without question, the "finest" Italian pastry in this state!!! All items, from fillings to cannoli shells made fresh. "Old School"! 5 stars!!! None better!

La Luce Pastry Shop: what do users think?
Rebecca Carroll: I was in the area and stopped in here based on the reviews. I had mentioned to the nice girl behind the counter that it was my first time here and she recommended the croissants... Took four - two apple and two cheese along with a few other pastries. The croissants were dry, old and not edible - the other pastries were just okay - nothing special.
Mary Furber: Excellent French bakery…delicious!!
Hope Marie: They have really good cakes, so it saddens me to have to give them so few stars. Have ordered cakes for delivery a couple times & all have been delicious, but yesterday we did not receive what we ordered - they substituted our order for a completely different cake without calling & notifying us that they did not have what we wanted in stock. When I called to ask about it, they did not acknowledge or apologize for not reaching out & were rude/didnt take accountability. A refund was offered but only if we brought it back which was not possible at the time.Take caution when ordering: you may not get what you asked for and they will not communicate out of stock items or changes to your order.
Melina Summers: Love this place. Was gunna do 4 star cuz the communication was bad, but it only happened once so I just moved on: the desserts are dope: the Boston whoopy pies are CRACK. I find myself going there and dropping 30-40& grabbing as many of the whoopy pies as they got. Criosaints are fire too. Try the spinach and feta one
Stephanie Morgan: Decided to stop for coffee and pastries to take home and the woman working was so rude I left without buying anything. I tried several attempts to be polite and finally had it and left. I understand if you’re having a bad day but don’t hurt your business by taking it out on others. Will not be returning or recommending!
Ana H.: la Luce is the loveliest pastry shop !! It was our first time there and the girl at the front was soooo nice! I went there with my 6 children… so we needed some extra time to decide what to get for each kid. she was very kind, patient, and so helpful! We loved it ! And now on to the taste … the taste is out of this world AMAZING!! EVERYTHING we got. Was soooo good! And the croissants ?!!! Were a DREEEAM!! like ahhh so so good! We found out the owner makes them himself!! And learned in France!! Im telling ya! Ya gotta try these croissants!! Like. Really. my husband, kids and I are hooked. We loved everything we got. Can’t wait to go again!! HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Schlomo: Best crepes, croissants, cookies, pies this side of the Seine!
Emily Frangie: Service wasn’t what I expected. If you don’t like your job then you shouldn’t work there. Horrible service leaves a horrible taste. I walked in and thought the lady looked super cute because she seemed to embrace the Halloween spirit which thought my kids would enjoy. WRONG! Blank face when addressing us. How every someone else walked in and she smiled. Racism is a thing!
First Last: . All cupcakes are kept cold, almost frozen, The frostings good. Its almost 4 dollars for one cupcake.
Local gide Viktoriya: Love it!
Nicole CB: The owner is so kind and accommodating. I was in a last minute bind trying to find cupcakes for a bday party. He was so helpful. Definitely my new favorite bakery
Cathy Loy: The BEST bakery.
Anne-Marie: My family has been ordering birthday cakes from La Luce for over 5 years - we can’t imagine using another pastry shop! The cakes are always delicious and beautifully decorated. And La Luce has always been reliable and on time with our orders. Highly recommend!
Ira Berberaj: This was the worst customer service experience. I was placing my order and the lady just left while I was still taking to her. Didn’t even greet and I can tell she’s the most arrogant and rude person I have ever met.
Benjamin Moses: I’ve lived in Dedham my whole life and this is, in my opinion, the most impressive food establishment of any kind here.
mary g _4: Delicious pastries 🍰
Vanessa Hollaway: Nice little shop
Luis Arcaya: Unique gourmet experience.Beautiful presentation!DELICIOUS.MAKING A GIFT? This is the gift.Thank you for your art!!!
Gricelda V: Best pastry shop in Dedham✅️love this place friendly staff
Denisse O: Google has this listed as as a gluten free option for a bakery. Drove there only to be greeted by an unfriendly woman who told me with little to no energy that their only GF flourless cake available is made in the same counter as everything else (letting me know about cross contamination is great, so thank you) and therefore I should proceed as I would like. I therefore drove here for normal cake? Gluten-free means it is FREE OF GLUTEN. Please do not advertise yourself as having GF products if your not actually ensuring that it is.The two stars is less about the cross contamination and more about how unfriendly and unwelcoming the staff member was to me about my celiac disease. Only as we were leaving did she say “sorry about that” again with little to no energy. It just didn’t feel welcoming at all and I was disappointed that I drove all the way over there to be…disappointed.
Bradley Williams: Always friendly service and outstanding pastries. Yummy!!!

Luberto's Pastry Shop: what do users think?
Hansel A.: Strawberry shortcake !! Love this bakery & the pizza was delicious.. Young lady at the counter the morning of 5/3 was very nice .. My go to spot for birthday cakes .. cake was moist .. juicy & the frosting wasnt too sweet .. nice and light .. the strawberries were ripe .. well balanced flavors all around .. yummy :)
Wendy Castillo: Today I went to get a Tres Leches cake because they use to make it so good but I got so disappointed because the cake that I bought for my sister’s birthday it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t the same Tres Leches cake that I used to buy. I guess this was the last time I’m going back. I don’t understand what happen with their delicious cake. 😡😥😥😥
Laura: My favorite!!! They have the best pastries!!!!!
Hector: Used to be our favorite place for a dessert, but sadly the coffee is terrible. The Young girls are not friendly or neither nice to everyone, the coffee they are serving is tasteless old and cold the cappuccino not even hot enough or any foam. I am sure we’ll be back in few weeks to give another chance. But we’ll suggest to the owner to please review your services. And give this kids some kind of training on costumer service. I am not trying to be rude , I am only expressing my experience ☹️
Jackie Nuna: MOLD ON TRES LECHES!! I called and the worker said they couldn’t refund my money because I didn’t have a picture of the cake from the day it was bought. I literally got the cake a day ago! They claimed “that’s what happens with tres leches” NO IT DOESNT! The next day a WELL made tres leches cake doesn’t have mold. Yet I’m not surprised since Lubertos is known for selling old and frozen cakes!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I’ll BE GOING TO SPINELLI’S INSTEAD, their cakes aren’t sold with mold!! Disgusting just like owners. Fraud.
Joe Belliveau: Great food. The tres leches is awesome!
Rinareviewsandmore 672: Used to be good but its terrible now, we went over there for Easter it was 7pm so not busy at all. We still had to take a ticket which was fine they were on 6 and we had number 7 the lady standing there sees the girl (employee) finish and flips straight to 8 and was about to help him when I walked up to her a said you skipped 7! This was obviously not an accident or she cannot count because she does it again, flips straight to 10 still waiting and she said okay ill help him and then you, no the heck you wont help them before me when I was waiting in line with my number! But another girl said she would do it, this girl was terrible she spoke very poor English and a hard time understanding us, she was always very uneducated on everything they sell and had no clue what she was talking about. She was telling me all the cakes were vanilla, then no those are chocolate, no those aren't chocolate only this one it. So we grabbed the chocolate one and this is the worst cake I have ever had and store bought sheet cakes are 10xs better thats how bad it was and it was very expensive too. 90 gross butter cream thats all sugar and no cake, also it had fruit citrus inside we weren't told about this and I am allergic! She could have killed someone had I not seen it before taking a bite and obviously we wouldn’t have bought it had we known, of course no way to email them or get help with this so we will not be back, there are plenty of bakeries that deserve your business, this isn’t one of them.
Kyla Gunnell: The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The supposed “manager” has an attitude problem and does not hear the customer out what so ever. The cakes and pastries are not worth the poor service. There are plenty of bakeries who treat the customers properly and bake good sweets. This was all over miscommunications between the employees that I was trying to clear up. If you have a business run it professionally.
JESUS IBANEZ MANCEBO: Delicious pastries! Good Coffee. The girls who attended us were very nice. They speak Spanish and English(:
Ramon Ham: I like this business because have delicious pastries. Me encanta esta reposteria porque tiene variedad de postres.
Cheryl DeModena: Delicious pastry
Joseph Sarno: Can't beat their whipped cream puffs!
Richie Defranzo: This place is awesome they have the most delicious cakes, cookies and pastry strawberry covered cheesecake, you can also have a special birthday cake made to your likings and a wide array of cookies and breads to choose from believe me you'll be happy that you shopped here..
VINCENT ZAPPULLA: There pastries are awesome, cappuccino is just as awesome, both regular & decaf available. I usually end my Saturday’s there.
Julia Kazna: Awesome variety of baked goods!
Ronald Ascolillo: Outstanding traditional Italian pastries. Just like the old North End of Boston.
Jason Philbin: I was there Sunday to pick up a birthday cake for my father it was $40 when I got it home and we tried to eat it we just couldn't cuz the icing was hard as a rock & cake was dry as sandpaper I won't be coming back here
Phillip Harrington: I don’t care what others have said. Best pastries ever. Everything is awesome
Alysson Goncalves Ribeiro: Friendly staff and excellent service. Pleasant surroundings.
Rachid Doukali: Best Bakery ever
Janice Ann: The best
