Maren Killackey: Learning to kiteboard with Benny was a blast! He is a fantastic instructor who clearly has deep experience in the sport. I had no prior experience kiting, but he explained all the concepts clearly and created drills to help the techniques stick. The kite and board camps were among the most fun things I've ever done. Benny helped me build a strong foundation so that I even feel comfortable practicing on my own. He'll for sure be my go-to when I'm looking to up my skills.

Benny was so great at communicating and helping me get into a lesson, which I did with Mario who was an AMAZING instructor. I felt so much more comfortable than I had in my previous attempt at learning to kite, which I think is largely because of Mario’s patience, direction, and choice of appropriately sized equipment for the conditions. I ended up doing two additional lessons with Mario and am now at the point where I’m able to go out and practice without an instructor. I also bought equipment through Benny which I was able to try out in my last lesson with Mario, so I feel comfortable and confident going out next time on it. Wish I was based in Boston as Mario and Benny are also extremely generous at helping out past students with launching/landing/etc outside of lessons. Highly recommend this kite school!

This store has been open in Sudbury since 1980, still run by husband and wife team Charlie and Laura. I have fond memories of visiting the store as a child.

RoadTrip NewEngland: There are multiple trails you can take up to the top of Great Blue Hill to the Observatory. The easiest is from the side with the nature center, where you can walk up the auto road or for a shorter walk a trail that follows a straighter path. The hardest way up is the blue blazed skyline trail which you can pick up on the other side of the hill near the police barracks. The observatory is open occasionally and has a small gift shop and a few educational displays.

Jo rocco: It was beautiful and pristine with the snow on the ground. The air was fresh. Good time to walk around.

Christopher Link: While the science observatory is currently closed for renovations, the roughly one mile hike up the fire road to the tower is well worth it. The road is extremely steep in places and makes for a great workout, whether you're walking, cycling, or running. The view from the top is a bonus!

Kaitlin Geagan: A hidden gem of the Northeast. Interesting and educational. Observatory is closed for updates but is open out of the kite shed in a fun outdoor mini shop. Hike the road to avoid ice in the wintertime.

Katherine Wu: We were able to hike up this trail with our baby stroller which is nice, but got to the top and the view was so disappointing. View was obstructed, not worth it. I’ve never had a hike where the view was disappointing, but this one proved me wrong.
