Seoul Jangteo: what do users think?
Diane Jin: Great dinner. Loved the Japchae and dumpling!
Young Suk Chang: 한국사람 입맛에 딱이에요.직원들 써비스가 좋아요.손님과 눈을 잘 마주칩니다.편안해요.식당이 너무 북적거리지 않아요.밥 먹는 분위기가 좋아요
Moaz Selim: The Jajangmyeon was delicious. Wish it had a little more pork but that’s definitely a personal taste and I think most people would be perfectly fine with it.I subtracted one star because the scallion pancake, although delicious, was a bit greasy for my tastes.
J Jo: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Chris Park: There aren't many choices to get the type of food they sell here and thankfully they do it well.Their service is prompt but not overbearing and food portions are great.
Tatiana Gardner: Great food and polite, and quick service. If you are looking for an authentic Korean cuisine, that's the right place! So far my favFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Madi Hyde: Excellent food and service. My go to spot for lunch.
Leo Lee: 볶음밥 탕수육 정말 맛있네요 ㄷㄷFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Hyewon: Portion is more than enough and delicious. The sauce for jjajjangmyeon and Tansuyook are bit blend. There are only onions and few meats in the jjajjangmyeon sauces which are a bit disappointing. But overall it’s great!
YeonWoo Shin: a little salty for me
Sky “Sky” T: this spot is pretty good very typical k food,
Lydia Chew: I ordered the soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) with vegetables only. While I've had this dish at many Korean restaurants across the country, this take was unique to me. It had zucchini squash and onions in it, but no mushrooms. Despite the differences from what I'm used to, it was still good. While the accompanying bowl of rice was small, I was satisfied at the end of the meal. It was also the perfect level of spiciness for me.I was a bit surprised by the banchan - there were only 2 dishes, kimchi and potatoes, and I typically am used to seeing around 6. Also, when we first arrived around opening time on Saturday, the restaurant had some customers but wasn't full. It did get busier around noon, but there was no wait (some tables were still empty) yet it felt like we were unceremoniously being rushed out - a server whisked away our glasses as soon as we paid the check. Still, because the food was good, 3.5 stars.Vegetarian options: all of the specials have meat. you can order the soft tofu stew without meat/seafood - specify if you want egg.
J Cha: Went there last night for the first time. Quick and efficient service! I was a little concerned when I was seated at a 2 top because of how small the table was but as soon as the food came out, the server put another table next to us to accommodate all the dishes! While most people had jjajang noodles (짜장면) and spicy seafood noodles (짬뽕) we ordered a more korean dish of boiled pork plate (수육), spicy pork bulgogi (제육볶음), and kimchi pancake (김치전) because my dining companion never tried korean-chinese food and I thought it would be easier for him to try authentic korean food first. Their kimchi pancake was perfectly crisp and boiled pork plate was perfectly balanced with the seasoned onion+green onion salad. Spicy pork bulgogi was not too spicy ( but the spice does build up) and was a perfect match for our overall meal. I would definitely visit again to try their korean-chinese food!

Andy Jang: Review in Fall 2022: Quite disappointed at their Gukbap recently!! Soondae Gukbap and Pork Gukbap have been their signature menu. We have had their Gukbap every other week, but since Summer 2022, they started diluting the soup by adding a lot of water to cut costs. Together with recent hygiene issues, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant until they go back to the previous. I see my Korean friends starting to avoid this restaurant.---Review in Jan 2023:1. Bad serviceServers won't come to your table unless you call them many times. We had to wait 20 minutes and call our server 3 times to get more water. Servers never come check your tables. They just deliver your food when it's ready.2. Force tips over 15% without notificationWith no-to-little servers' service, you can't leave 15% tip or lower. We had very unpleasant experience and left 13% tip. The server ran out of the restaurant immediately and forced us to write tip greater than 15%.3. COVID-vulnerable environmentThe tables are extremely close to one another. If one has COVID, cold, of flu, I am sure everyone in the restaurant will get infected.Kid-friendliness: Not kid-friendly.Parking: No parking available. Metered parking is very limited near the restaurant.

Coreanos Allston: what do users think?
David McCarthy: They need to up their beef game. Beef bibimbap was just ok
A “Road Man” A: Just ok ,I ordered 3 different plates 1 out of 3 was good ( quesadillas ) the other just ok .Good customer service, good timing forPick up .
Kat: I ordered the tteokbokki with ramen and kimmari, but was heavily disappointed to see that there were barely any rice cakes. Also, the kimmari was soggy and not crunchy on the outside like it should be, which can be easily fixed by packaging it in a separate container. There also wasn’t enough sauce, so when I mixed the ramen in, it tasted a bit bland. Overall, it was okay, but definitely not worth considering the price.
Majd Al Suqri: Their chicken poppers are to die for
정신영: It is difficult to taste Korean chicken in the United States because the chickens commonly used in the United States are older, larger and greasier than Korean ones. The fried chicken, here is the best in Boston. But boneless chicken is so-so. I recommend ordering the bone-in chicken. It's not spacious and has lots of guests but you can get the table quickly.
Jackson: So deLICIOUS and pleasant 😊
Andrew Huang: I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap on a regular Monday night and I would recommend avoiding this dish here. The bulgogi was dry and a bit plain. The fried egg was good well, with a runny yolk when I popped it. The sides were not great, not fresh, and it was a bit paltry (just a thin layer, you can see through to the bottom of the tray). The soybean sprouts and carrots were okay, not very seasoned. The radish was a little bitter, not sweet and sour as expected, so maybe it was going bad. The spinach also seemed a bit old. The inclusion of plain shredded lettuce was just very odd to me. I've never seen that as a Korean side dish before and frankly, it is so bland that I don't think it should have been served as a side vegetable. The bibimbap sauce was great, with just a low amount of heat (should be tolerable to most people), and a bit of sweetness. The miso soup was okay, with a couple of bits of tofu and scallion. Overall, the dish was extremely disappointing and unfortunately it the worst bibimbap I've ever eaten.Service was fast on a regular Monday night. There were about a dozen takeout bags on the counter, but the staff greeted and served me promptly. This place seems to have gotten much more popular over the years, but the quality has also gone downhill. I will give this place another try someday, because I ordered the Coreanos bowl a couple of years ago and I remember liking it, so maybe that is still good. Hopefully, I can increase the rating next time.
Stefanos Baros: Decided to give Coreanos a try and ordered their bulgogi dish with delivery. I was greatly, disappointed! For a $22 expensive dish, the quality was so low it was ridiculous. The only thing I can say is that it was overpriced low quality food. Will not try again!
Jake Chvatal: Incredible, as always. The coreanos bowl is a classic - perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of sauce. Great presentation. I wish there were more meat though - with just one egg and a little bit of beef, I'm left wanting more to go with the rice by the end!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Coreanos Bowl with Beef and Miso Soup …More
Vivek Reddy: Taste was good, very less meat in the kimchi fried rice.
Mari: Don’t get:BibimbapQuesadilla
Carrie Rigoli: Excellent!!! My daughter had bulgogi tacos and I had bulgogi rice bowl. Soooo good!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Marco Hernandez: Visiting from California for a week and heard this is a to-go place. They were right. I got the Yang Yum (thick sweet sauce with a hint of tangy and mild spice), bone in, large Fried Chicken. 11 pieces, and each one of them were massive. They have an excellent crunch, and a lot of meat on the bone. The sauce was nice, sweet, and spicy although I wish it had a tad bit more but you could prolly ask for some on the side as the staff is very nice and fast with their service. I also got one of their Bulgogi Beef Tacos and it was really good. Their Miso Soup was also great and flavorful. Overall, I spent ~$17 (friend and I split their large fried chicken, and I got a taco) and am very happy with what I ate. I can eat a lot and these wings filled me. If I ever come back to Boston, I'm gonna make it a thing to come back here. It also seems worth mentioning that they are a family run business, great place to eat!

Burton Ho: Food was meh got the kimchi Fritas and TTEOKBOKKI. Felt like it could of been better with more genuine Korean ingredients that you could get at Hmart or the Asian supermarket.
Quang Tran: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Yandi Wang: I had bim bim bap takeout. I was honestly not impressed with neither the rice nor veges/meat on top. Would not order again
Blessing Omaiye: Recommended dishes Rice Cakes, 炸鸡 fried chickenMore
Emily Lubanko: Incredibly good food, and really really nice people. I think this might be one of my favorite places to get lunch in Allston and possibly greater Boston. The food is beautifully flavorful, mingling crisp and bright flavors, and tastes FRESH. I love the tacos -- soft and pleasantly toasted tortillas and just the right amount of everything. The kim chi is good too, I would buy it jarred if they had it. I am so fond of this place, I hope it stays.
Monica S: I’ve been going to coreanos for years and it’s one of my favorite parts about living in allston. I’ve never had something I didn’t like, and the staff is always super polite!
Yu Chun Kuo: Good fusion foodBut the coreanos bowl is 90% rice with sauce and 10% protein

Kaju Korean Cuisine — Allston: what do users think?
wendy chin: There's usually a wait here especially on the weekend. We came on a Sat night around 715pm and got lucky with only waiting 15 mins.Friendly staff. Tofu soup is always consistent. We got the mushroom and a vegetable Tofu soups. Got the seafood clay pot and had plenty of mussels, some clams and some squid. Vegetable noodles says pan fried but it's more stir fry and soft.
Alice Qi: Kaju has the best tofu soup that I have ever had. AND I have been to nyc and grew up in sf! Every time I finish a bowl, I’m so tempted to order another and I always leave craving more. My go to is definitely kimchi & beef (mild)! It’s so addicting!! Tbh other than their soup its not the best & side dish options are super mid. Just get their soups TRUST ME!
Minh Anh Bui: Went to this restaurant and had a tofu soup and teokkbokki. Absolutely delicious, I love the tofu that they served and the sweetness of the teokkbokki. The soup was a bit spicy for me, but overall it was good. The staff was really nice. There was a really nice Korean lady and we had a chat with her about how we picked up some Korean phrases. We had to go to a concert nearby which we can't get the food in. The staff kept the food for us but we weren't able to get back to the restaurant by the time they closes (which is really sad, the teokkbokki was really good :( if you (the staff) are reading this, I'm really sorry that I couldn't get back on time).Would definitely come back to this place!
Leah Klein: We love Kaju. The kimchi and condiments are all delicious. The tofu soup is a must, but there are plenty of other things if tofu soup is jot your thing. We always get the kimchi pancake too.
Andrew Wong: Really great soondubu with rich and umami flavors especially in the pork or seafood soups

Remooos: Ok this is really good homey Korean food BUT it made my friend and I sick. TMI but it feels like food poisoning and you are literally stuck to the toilet for the whole day after. How do I know that it came from this restaurant? This is because my friend and I had it on Sunday because we were like let's try it out. We had a bad case of the runs but didn't put the pieces together yet. Then on Wednesday we went again and we were like if we like the restaurant we go there multiple times you know? We get the runs again... ded. Anyway not sure what it was because we just got the dumpling tofu soup with the pork belly combo and also the bulgogi. I might be wrong.
Serena: My favorite korean restaurant in Allston. They have great meats and soondubu.
Edward Wang: 辣豆腐汤没放盐,而且服务极差!0星
Wang Zongjian: I only wanted to give one star. We waited 20 minutes and asked them why our food wasn't available, and then they realized they didn't receive my order
Francis Miranda: I’ve never been a fan of tofu soup but Kaju has changed my mind. This place is my go-to Korean restaurant if I’m looking for absolutely comforting food. The Tofu soup is excellent (make sure you try the intestine and the oyster version!). Combined with their barbecues and generous portions of kimchi and appetizers this is one of the best places to get Korean food in Boston!

The manager was kind enough to waive our bill, and I took home the rest of the food that we didn’t finish, thinking there can’t be any other issue in the food. However, as you can see in the picture, I found an even bigger piece of plastic in my soup. Would NOT eat at this restaurant again.

The serving sizes were huge and definitely worth the money! I wish I didn’t get so full because I would have ate more! Highly recommend
pamala c.: Love all the food. The restaurant is very clean and the owner is very nice. If we have a chance to visit Boston again, we will definitely going back.
Cidi Chen: I'm rating this based on whole chicken soup with ginseng and herbs. I've tried other dishes. They are fine, but not a 5. Mostly 4. However, the ginseng chicken soup is the best. Dennis Sheehy: Very friendly service, and great food. We ordered Tteok Bokki, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, and the short rib. All of it was supremely flavorful, and portions were of a good size.
Jaeseung Wang: Ordered Tangsu Yuk Combo via Uber on Nov 20th 2022 at 5pm. Missing Tansu Yuk sauce.
Eugene Jung: Had delivery and it was way better than I expected. I usually lower my expectations when I’m getting delivery but even if I had this food in house, I can’t imagine it being hotter and tasting better! The only thing I wanted was more kimchi but I didn’t ask for extra so that’s my fault. Was a pleasant surprise! Spicy Jjajjangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. Highly recommend!
Christopher Zilla: First time ordering for pickup. All three dishes were solid but the Japchae/Bulgogi Combo and the Ganjang Chicken Wings were devoured. I’d imagine the crispness of the wings would suffer (not their fault) if extended delivery time. The Japchae noodles had a depth of flavor and the bulgogi was pretty generous for the $30 dish. We lived in Asia for decades and each dish was authentic taste and fresh (unlike several “Asian” restaurants we have tried - Thai and Japanese). We will try eating there soon but not the most exciting environment.
Hannah Haggerty: Great service! Amazing food!

Cho Cho's: what do users think?
Thao Nguyen: I was craving for some soup with the cold weather and their beef galbi tang soup really hit the spot! It’s light but full of umami flavor.
Natalie Ray: I went here right before I went to see The Rose at the roadrunner and the customer service was amazing. The food came fast and tasted amazing!!!
Camillo John Iannaccone: I had poor service here, as I ordered bibimbob and received it with most everything (rice, veggies, and meat) charred solid for about half an inch all around the dish. After paying and leaving, the host ran after me and swore at me for the tip. I have been to every other restaurant in that building and would recommend any and all of them over this establishment.
Luna Z: Soon tofu soup very delicious
Mr. Raindrop: They don’t serve on the business hour
Andrew Lu: Slow service, small portions, moderate prices ($18), but not as authentic (9/23/22).
Desmond Preston: Food is decent but portion size is pathetic. Ordered spicy pork and it wasn’t enough to feed a single child. Each “piece” of meat was the size of popcorn. Worth it to order from Allston instead. The kimchi banchan (side dish) was *literally* a single piece of lettuce.
Courtney Broyles: Everything I’ve tried here so far has been awesome. Lovely workers and great food. Always less populated than the other restaurants close by so I’ve never had to wait. Pictured are the tofu fried rice and naengmyeon - both delicious!
Eun Hee Ko: 화려한 스탈일의 한식은 아니지만 소박하게 식사 간단히 하기 좋은 곳입니다. 보스턴에서 가본 한국 음식점중 소화는 젤 잘되는것 같습니다
Tianna Edwards: It's fantastic! The food is super flavorful, appropriate level of spicy. Service is wonderful! Will definitely be coming back!
Michael J. Millenheft III: Great service and the bibimbap was amazing!
Robert Costa: Wonderful homely food and friendly service
Hongwei Sun: I waited for more than 40 min to get my takeout order. Do NOT order takeout in this place!!!
Manny M.: One of the many spots inside Lesley university which has plenty of Japanese inspired dishes. Got the beef bimbim bob & it was really good definitely recommend it as a starting point. Then I got got the shrimp tempura bento box with brown rice, shrimp were nicely fried & crispy salad was good with the dressing the brown rice was a little bit soggy but overall it was ok.
Urvashi B: Very underrated place at the Lesley building which is shared by some other restaurants as well(yume ga arukara). The Korean food here is always delicious and freshly made by the kind lady here and tastes like homemade food. Affordable as well. I always order their soon dubu stew which is piping hot and spicy and so good for winters, it comes with a side of steamed rice. they don't give a lot of typical Korean side dishes probably to keep costs down. Their Korean pancakes are great too. Their takeout amount is not the best, so recommend this highly for dine in if one can.
Li Yeoh: Disappointed with the portion and taste.
Julie Hsiao: I got takeout from this place, their pork and beef bibimbap bowls are great! Each bite is interesting and flavorful. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.Takeout: Yes …More
Paulas P: I have to say this is the secret Korean food restaurant in Boston. It has been open here for 20years more now. They located inside of Lesley’s building. The foods are very authentic and the price is very good deal with the portion and taste.Taste: 9/10Price: 10/10Service: 10/10Location: 10/10
Prav Shrestha: Best Korean food in Boston. I simply love the Sung-do-bu and Bim-bim-bab. The chicken teriyaki is amazing too. Go try it!!!!!
Doreen Thomas: This is an almost weekly stop for us. Scallion pancakes, Bento boxes, Bibimbap….all amazing. The staff is excellent, friendly and they love children. We are often with our grandchildren and they always paying extra attention to them. This week in particular we were there celebrating my granddaughter’s birthday and at the end of our meal a surprise Moshi birthday cake appeared!
Michael Metz: I found the noodles a bit tough, but other than that it was a pleasant experience. Casual and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff.

Koy: what do users think?
Sarah Fuller: The food here is incredible! Some of the highlights are the bang bang cauliflower and the kimchi fried rice. The service was also wonderful. 10/10
Dr.Sonu Abraham: Great food! Fun vibe!
Amy Ouyang: I chose to come here for my birthday celebration with my friends. Our server and the food were great! I ordered a scallion pancake as an appetizer and street noodles for dinner. As for the drink, I had a passion fruit mocktail. In addition to a bunch of Soju shots.P.S. The price for the meals isn't a lot, it's just because there was a lot of us and my friend didn't include myself and another person since we share the same birthday in the bill that everyone else paid a little more than $100.
Khristyne Hee Jun: food was pretty subpar. the kimchi fried rice just tasted like straight butter and the crab rangoon was half burnt.left feeling pretty disappointed. the soondubu was good tho.Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Olivia M.: Had an great experience here! The server Adrian was amazing and full of positive energy. The restaurant has nice vibe, music is solid and the food is phenomenal. Will be back next time I’m in Boston.
Alec Shaw: Great food, atmosphere and service. Very nice experience would recommend. Adrien our server, was excellent and very friendly.
Daniel Tola: Great atmosphere and food. Service was busy attending between tables and the barFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
The Guy: MUSIC WAY TOO LOUD !! Firecracker shrimp wasn’t fire. It was flavorless and fried in old oil i guess. Too many red flags at this place. Seems like its just kids running the place. It was a Sunday evening. We cut our visit short and went elsewhere.
Connor Laubenthal: The atmosphere and food are amazing. We had Adrian as our server and his service is friendly and extremely helpful. I’m coming back for sure!
Dominique St. Pierre: Loved the vibe. Living for our server Adrian. 10/10 recommend
Lena Owens: Really enjoyed our experience here tonight. They were helpful in making a larger group reservation and brought a slice of cake out for our friends birthday which was so sweet!I had the drunken noodles which they warn you are spicy and they were a bit, but nothing crazy. Super good and very full of veggies which I loved. Bang bang cauliflower was delicious, definitely would recommend! The master change chicken was also super flavorful, savory and delicious. Got the Eye of the Tiger which was pretty strong, I like my friends Guava Mojito better (tasty and minty but not too sweet).Prices also weren’t crazy high for the good amount of food you get, which I totally appreciate! Overall definitely recommend the dishes we had and coming here, staff were super friendly and helpful too!!
Vanessa Hunter: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes More

Jeffrey Mchugh: The restaurant itself is light-hearted but still retains class. The food was amazing. Fresh, colorful, and tasty. The angry master chang's chicken was crispy and sweet with a very angry chili sauce. The service was really slow. There were only two front house workers, the bartender and hostess, who were doubling as waitstaff. The food for our group came out piece meal. By the time my meal came out, everyone else was done. This is why I can't give it a five.I don't know if the slow service was a feature or just that one night.
Ben Bush: Service was awesome and food was amazing.
Xin Zhang: FoodI would call this Korean fusion, and the food was mediocre.Everything elseThe service was okay and it felt like a place for people to hang out after work.
