Quartz: Brought my computer in to get repaired after it got stuck in a boot loop after a routine windows update. I didn't want to repair it myself because I figured a repair place would do it better than I could, how wrong I was.I went in to pick it up and he acted like everything went great. So I paid the $200, happily brought it home and turned it on. To my horror my desktop was cleared and when I went into my files 500GB of my data GONE. This guy system restored my 1TB drive without backing up it up. Without even CONFIRMING with me first.Literally anyone could've done that themselves, even my GRANDMOTHER could've done that.I'm so devastated and still trying to fix this mess almost 2 months later. Do not go here.

Butterism: My experience with this establishment started out a little rough, but was redeemed promptly. When I first contacted the store, I inquired about 4:30-5:00PM drop off time for my computer on a Friday, to which I was told no problem. Unfortunately, when I arrived he was not in the store despite the agreement. I was upset as I work from home, and needed my laptop repaired promptly and to quality. While I set about searching for another Repair Shop, I was contacted by Sam the following week. To my pleasant surprise, he had order the frame needed for my laptop and called me in to fix it. I did not believe I would be contacted again. Let alone him ordering the frame when I haven't even paid for any services. While I still had my reservations, I was still in need of having my laptop repaired, and once again took the trip up to the store. I was professionally greeted while Sam assessed my laptop and said that I could pick it up the following Monday. My laptop was in beautiful condition and Sam did a fantastic job. As I have an HP Envy x360, I took a few days to assess the quality- alternating between tablet mode and folding the screen back at several angles. No issues to be found. Though my first trip left a sour taste in my mouth, Sam has more than redeemed himself and the store. I will once again praise the quality and agree with other reviews that the price was fair. I raise my rating from 2 Stars to 5, I will gladly return for any future issues I may have.

Paulo H. Bignelli Nunes: Good experience at first, I brought my MSI GS-75 due to the GPU fans running really loudly, so I left it there for week. The fans were replaced, I opened up the computer and the sound was gone - everything was in order apparently. However, as I got home and used the laptop normally, it was heating up very quickly, and the no wind was coming off from the GPU fans. The fans had been replaced, though they didn't work at all. I went back and left it for another week so another replacement could be installed. Same issue. I paid 144 dollars and spent over a month for a delayed service and more problems as my original fan was lost in the repair shop - I couldn't get a refund nor any further support.

Sulaka Warsame: My experience there was great at first. It seemed like a decent price and I trusted that he was familiar with different types of laptops and computers. I brought my MSI GS65 stealth thin to have the right fan replaced because of excessive noise while in use. Took about a week to receive my laptop back (part took about that long to get in) and he opened my laptop to the lock screen to show me the sound was gone. When I had went home to use my laptop it made no sound until I actually started running programs and playing games. There is still a sound, but it isn't nearly as loud as before. Still concerned and may have it checked again soon somewhere else. Another thing is that I received a completely different charger than I had brought in with my laptop when I went to pick it up. I didn't notice until I plugged it in and it took a very long time to charge my laptop. This isn't the original charger that came with my laptop.

They took out my hard drive, copied my files into the Mac, and got me all set up, but I had to return because I was having trouble adjusting. Even though it was beyond the call of duty, they helped me with navigating Microsoft Word on a new device with a frustrating keyboard. After a few days of misery, I gave up. I bought a refurbished PC, they transferred my files again, and even taught me how to adjust to the new computer and the new version of Microsoft Word with minimal charge. (Thank you so much, Iris. ZEGUANG XIA: Very unprofessional.Last week I came to this shop to repair a computer and was greeted by an African American man at the front desk who was very careless.My laptop is a dell 5559, there is a click sound when switching the screen, and there is a slight separation visually. He just made a simple visual assessment, and then he gave all the lcd covers and hinges to be replaced. Then he checked the price of accessories with his mobile phone and told me that the price was 240$. The maintenance period is one to two weeks.However I am well aware that the LCD is around $50 at most, while the hinge is cheaper. So I went to another shop for repairs.Another shop found through visual inspections that the anchor points on the Display back cover broke, but the hinge is working fine.They only cost $48 for labor + parts. They can be fixed in 3 days.Even if all the LCDs are replaced, it is only 40$, and the second-hand LCDs are 20$.Today I got my laptop for $90 and it has been fully restored.

I asked to pick it up with all the original parts and got it back missing the screws, my usb wireless keyboard connector jammed in, and just discover after opening the computer up that the hard drive is also missing. I didn't mean to offend, but he immediately looked impatient.A few days later, he replaced the computer with a new screen. When I went to pick it up, I prudentially asked, "Is this new?" He was impatient again. I paid according to the ''new item'' and came home. I found multiple scratches on the inside and outside of the screen, and I realized he wasn't being honest.That's why he's so arrogant when asked those sensitive questions.

I'm an average joe sort of for computers and i have a desktop (MSI vortex) that couldn't update windows and (everytime it tries it fails) then it reverts itself back. one night I left it and the update forced itself onto my computer. After that, windows would not boot up again. I called and had to bring it to his home office. I won't lie, it was a little scary just dumping off my desktop at a stranger's home but gave me a quoted price (which I thought was steep but then again i don't normally go to get professional services done). Dropped off my desktop and i called the next day as he claimed he should be able to figure it out. During the call he informed me that he needed a few more hours. basically got a text by the close of business the next day that it was completed. I picked it up, paid via venmo and now my computer can run windows properly and updates too!Thanks a bunch WangPC! Fast and easy fix and quick too! Very satisfied with the work provided. I would recommend this place for anyone that needs computer help.
Chuanwu Zhang: My WIFI always cannot be connected after the Window 10 updates automatically. Thus I have to recovery the Window to previous version after the update. Couple months or even several weeks later, Window update automatically again and I have to repeat the process above again. This issue bothers me a lot recently since the automatic update occurs every 1-2 weeks. Thus, I have to solve this issue thoroughly. Believe or not, I have gone to other professional stores to seek for help before visit WangPC, and I did not get expected solutions until meet with Wang. He is skillful, professional, responsive and quite flexible. He knows that I need my laptop eagerly, and he works overtime on weekend to fix the issue in a pretty short period. Pierre: Top notch service, Martin was really helpful and clear about everything. I had a Macbook Air with a broken key, Martin replaced the keyboard for less than half what Apple was asking. My desktop computer wasn't starting anymore after a move, and he reinstalled Windows and all my data was safeguarded for less than the price of a Windows license.Oh, and he did the whole thing by the end of the day.Would definitely recommend to anyone.

mike perry: These guys are frauds. They installed a motherboard for me broke the lock on the gpu slot didn't screw in my m2 drive or attach the wires for the case power. My cpu cooler fans don't work now and they never finished downloading the drivers that caused the issue and laced fans and hoses with thermal paste. When I called about it I was called a liar and refused a refund for the labor only let them take the motherboard out again for a full refund. Obviously I'm not letting your tech touch it again. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Finally he calls me 3 days later talking about the motherboard not working and it was going to take $700-$800 to fix it... I just went and got a new MacBook.This guy has no customer service skills, and I'm never coming back here again.

Evan: Dropped my laptop off for a battery and keyboard repair 7 weeks ago. They fixed it 3 weeks later (not their fault it took that long, maybe shipment problem) but it came back with a broken mic, headphone jack, and webcam, so i sent it back.They said it's an expected 1 week fix, so I called 1 week later and they said they needed to order a cable or smth to fix the connection. Another week goes by and they said they ordered new stuff and it would take a week longer. It ended up taking 2 weeks.They didnt charge me for the new parts, but i picked it up last week and now the side volume buttons are broken and the bottom shell isnt put in correctly, so my laptop isnt stable now.TL;DR3 stars because it took 7 whole weeks for them to fix my laptop. Maybe there were shipment issues for the parts, but it doesnt excuse that fact that it came back with more problems. But at least they fixed the main problem (battery and keyboard).

If you are someone like myself that isn’t familiar technically about computers , dont waste your time going here for help. They have no clue how to treat their customers. No clue on backing up to OneDrive. Just no clue at all. I had to bring my computer back because they didn’t back up my computer correctly, and all my documents and pictures where erased! Gone! I had to bring my computer back to have them re-do the job i paid them for but i was mostly concerned that all my documents and photos where gone. Once again, I left my computer for them to “restore” and backup again.Fast forward - Two days later- when i went to pick up my compute my pictures— GONE!, he couldn’t find the pictures at all. He then proceeded to tell me I did something when I tried to back up. NOW this became my fault?!! WHAT? I reminded him, after I tried to do my own backup, my pictures where still on my computer when I brought to him to back up. He continued to argue with me, all my picture folders are empty. Words cant express my anger for the way i was treated, and more importantly missing documents and pictures. My recommendation is to NOT bring your computer to this establishment if you cherish your pictures, document’s and time. I didn’t deserve to be treated in such a demeaning way. The whole experience was awful. Waste of time, waste of money, unpleasant to ignorant and untrustworthy. Now I need to find another business to help me. GOOD LUCK and Beware.
Emma Turcotte: I chose A Plus Computer based on the great reviews and the fact that it's a local shop. I wish I hadn't. Everything started out fine- they diagnosed my computer's issue, ordered the necessary part, and installed it for a decent price. When I got home and tried my computer out, the keyboard didn't work. The technician had failed to re-connect the keyboard to the new motherboard. I went back and they spent about 20 minutes fiddling with my keyboard until they determined I would need to come back another day. I get a call that it is working and pick it up again. This time when I come home the keyboard is shoddily put back into place- one of the keys sinks in immediately, the space bar is crooked, and I can see a part of the keyboard still not securely in. I bring it back a THIRD time and they call saying that I need a new keyboard (granted it was working just fine before I brought it to them). I come back to pick up my computer with it's new keyboard and bring it home. The power button is sunk in, there are clear screwdriver/tool marks all along the top edge of my keyboard from the technician trying to fiddle with my keys and pop open the motherboard. At this point the cosmetic blemishes cannot be fixed and I am choosing to live with the sunk in part instead of going back and having them potentially mess something else up on my laptop. I wish I could give this place four/five stars like everyone else but that just wasn't my experience.

Hoang Nguyen: Stay away from this store at all cost. They screwed up my macbook computer. I have an old macbook pro 2009 and asked them to upgrade to a newer version of the MacOS simply because both google chrome and Safari are no longer supported with old MacOS version. That said, the computer is running just fine without any problem except I couldn't use the up to date version of Google Chrome. They quote me: just upgrade the software alone is $150 and upgrade both software and 8GB of RAM is $190. I told them not to upgrade the RAM, just the software for me to use Google Chrome and YouTube and that's all I need. After 3 days, they called me to pick it up, when I got there the computer was still running the upgrade and I noticed that they opened the back of my laptop computer. I am not sure what they were trying to do because I ask them to upgrade the software and not the hardware so why they opened the back of my laptop. When I took it home, I found out the computer was not shutting down, it kept running so I took it back to them right away and asked them why. They said they wanted to keep it for a few days and then told me that the fan is broken and needs to be replaced. I said no, I brought my computer here in a perfect working condition and now after I paid $150 for the software update, it becomes a piece of junk: I am not able to turn it on and off. They lie to me that they have to open the computer in order to upgrade the software. This is a lie. I believe they intentionally either replace the hardware, causing the problem so that you have to replace the hardware or they are incompetent, screwing up my computer and took $150 for fixing nothing. For my Vietnamese fellows, don't even bother to come in this store, even they offer to fix your computer for free, I don't even trust them to leave my computer in their store. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COST.

The Microsoft remote technician I tried first thought I'd have to reinstall Windows, but Tim found a simpler fix that left my OS, programs and files all intact. The price was incredibly reasonable, though I would be willing to pay almost anything to not have to deal with tech issues. You pay once service is complete, and in the case of my issue, the work is under warranty with the shop for 90 days, which is a pretty amazing level of service.
