Melissa Sun: Spoke with a Daniel in customer service. He called back because his original call dropped. He asked to be connected to whoever called him, and I told him I didn't have the ability to see all of the outgoing calls being made from our company phone but I did try calling several numbers to which no one picked up. I told him I couldn't get a hold of anyone but I'd take a message so I can have the correct person give him a call back but he was insistent on being given a name and to speak with someone, to which I had to repeatedly tell him I can't see who is making outgoing calls and I didn't have anyone I could connect him with at the time. I told him he could leave his contact information and I could have someone give him a call back in 5-10 minutes but he refused to give me his information and demanded I connect him with someone so I transferred him multiple times....and to no surprise one one picked up BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS BUSY. He calls back twice to get connected to someone and each time no one picks up. Finally he gives me his contact information to get a call back.....

They did not pick up same day but 3 days and charged me another $525 because I called why they did not pick up the next day. Crazy! 🤑

The review guy: Unfortunately. I've had a bad experience with Otis and their service technicians. I've caught them performing work that needed to be locked out tagged out and was not compliant with Osha standards. We've had issues for a while on our elevators, and never once did we receive a proposal to have these problems resolved because they were covered under our service contract. Once I reached out, I asked some questions within 24 hours I had a quote to have a bunch of work completed that should have been completed months before per our service contract.

Lauren Creedon: It’s like working with a personal trainer in class form. Plus the owners create a really friendly and personalized environment. Been working with a trainer for two years and this felt like an automatic replacement without losing a beat.

Tara Lieberman: I've been going to Lifted for almost 2 years and I can't recommend it enough! Since moving to Boston in 2016, I've taken workout classes at boutique fitness studios all over the city and I can confidently say that Lifted's classes are my favorite by far. Pat and Mo are awesome trainers (and just great humans in general), who really take the time to get to know each of their members and push them to do their best every workout. Do yourself a favor and get the unlimited class package -- if you commit to going 3-4x a week, I promise you'll see results. I've lost weight while simultaneously gaining muscle and am now easily in the best shape of my life.

I was unsure about the gym before my first class and they made me feel very comfortable and I’ve been going back daily since that first class. They are able to help train around injuries and their programs are based on functional movements and improving overall strength, agility, and health.
Faith P: When I moved to Boston I was looking for a convenient gym that I could go to everyday and create structure for myself here in a new city. I had been a runner all my life, and had never lifted before. My cousin had joined Lifted and recommended I try it! I tried my first class back in December and have been hooked ever since. The class environment is perfect for someone who has never lifted before. I feel extremely comfortable pushing myself in the gym, and Pat and Mo are literally the best and give guidance when needed. I have nothing but good things to say about lifted. It is the best workout I have ever been to and the community within the gym is amazing. I owe so much to Lifted, and my transition to Boston. If you are on the fence about joining, do it, I promise you will not regret it!

Pat and Mo (and the other trainers at lifted) were truly the most welcoming trainers who really want to help you get to your goals and get stronger. My anxiety completely went away right after meeting Pat and Mo for the first time. The entire environment is so welcoming and being able to have a structured workout in 40 minutes made it so easy to fit into my daily routine. If I didn't move I never would have left this gym and being a part of it for the past 6 months helped me so much physically and mentally as well.I honestly can't recommend Lifted enough and if you are reading this review because you are on the fence about joining I was once in your shoes and the only regret I have is not joining sooner!
Betsy Scherer: Excellent gym in Southie! My husband and I have been doing joint personal training sessions with Riley and love it. Also, a great value IMO - personal training for one person is $100 per session but only $20 more for two. Definitely recommend.

Julia Asselin: After Boston Athletic Club closed down for Covid (and never reopened…?) I decided to try Lifted Fitness, thinking I’d only be there for a month or two. Ended up staying for 8 months and only left because I was moving to CA, and I wish this gym could’ve come with me. So many positive things to say about this gym:•Pat and Mo are some of the best guys, they take time to get to know all the members•The circuit style of classes was different from what I was used to, but challenging in the best way. 40 minutes and DONE•Accommodating based on skill level or if you have injuries - trainers are always happy to suggest an alternative exerciseOverall, 10/10, 5 stars, whatever you need to get you to try this gym.

Quinn Collins: I tried several gyms in Boston and Lifted is my favorite! It's more than just a good workout, it is a community. All of the teachers are super attentive, the members are nice, and the facility is clean. The class offering is really great and includes strength & cardio classes which make the monthly membership price totally worth it! I recently moved to the suburbs but plan on attending the Zoom classes when I can.
Brie Flaherty: Lifted is the best gym in Southie! I highly recommend joining - the trainers are great and go over every exercise - and will point out and correct you which is awesome! The environment is super welcoming and not intimidating, like other gyms can be. I am so glad I joined and once you try one class, you will for sure be hooked!

Scott Caldwell: We have a lift at our home which allows my sister to get from the driveway into her house. Nationwide Wilmington's Team is unbelievable. We have had them both install and service our elevator and I cannot recommend them more! Responsive, Great Customer Service, Great quality products. When the elevator goes down which it rarely does Nationwide is there to help and I mean fast. This company cares about its customers, I wish there were more than 5 stars!
Bill Moretti you’re g: We had been working on project development for a dumbwaiter with a competitor and they were unable to fulfill promises that they had made regarding machine room location and size. Terry and Bob not only were able to meet our machine room needs but exceeded all other expectations in terms of product quality, schedule, delivery and service.I will definitely be calling on them for our next elevator or dumbwaiter project.

Kris Brenner-Adam: Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. We were traveling for my college graduation and the hotel was able to provide things we forgot like a comb. Great amenities including the largest hotel pool I’ve seen in a long time, clean rooms and common areas. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. There was space to setup our suitcases as we stayed for a few days. Good food from breakfast area in the morning and a good restaurant on site. We had a great stay and will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!
Cat D: There’s a concentration of hotels in this area (quite literally am looking out off the balcony right now and can count at least 4 within walking distance) ~ I’ve stayed at all of them but this one is by far my favorite. The people who work here are consistently wonderful, and in an way that doesn’t feel like fake customer service. The restaurant is great, and I love that even when I checked in at 1 am it’s still full of people. It’s nice having a social spot right in the lobby. The pool is fantastic (seriously I’ve stayed at a much more expensive hotel about 2 minutes away, literally the same pool), and for me the rooms are great, especially for the price you pay. I love the balcony rooms, it’s nice to be able to open up your door and step out in the morning. Also I think I saw someone else mention that there’s cigarette smoke but I dont notice it at all in the room, and there’s literally smokers outside every hotel I’ve ever been to. I think all the hotels in this spot allow for smoking or non smoking rooms. I’m really bad with cigarette smoke (it usually makes me sick especially if it’s indoors) and trust me when I say it’s never been a problem. The location is perfect too. It’s right off the highway so wherever you’re visiting (Bostons less than 20 min away) the location can’t be beat especially for the money, and if you’re like me and often stay here for business, you’re less than 6 minutes away from two different places that are concentrated with all types of stores so whatever you need you can get. I’m writing this review laying in bed so I’m including a picture of the open balcony cause I’m so comfy. My go to hotel for sure.

Amy L: Why did the “smoke free” room stink of cigarettes? They have this sign in the rooms saying how smokers will be charged $150 for smoking in a non-smoking room. We are a family of NON-smokers in a NON-smoking room and the room stunk when we walked in.Don’t get too excited about the pool. You have to ask for a towel at the front desk and they are all paper thin. The pool is a cesspool for pinkeye and stray hairs. Don’t get your head wet if you want to avoid illnesses.Speaking of stray hairs, our bathroom was full of mysterious ones when we first walked in with mystery goo in the crevices.The front desk lady was nice but clearly they are severely understaffed.The food at the restaurant below was decent. But that is pretty much it. There is a much nicer Westin Hotel across the street. Stay there instead, lol.
Mahraz: I recently had to travel to Waltham for work and found that all the hotels in the area were sold out, except for this one. While the location of the hotel was great, the rooms were outdated and had a musty smell. Despite this, the customer service was excellent and check-in and check-out were a breeze. They also offered free parking and an acceptable breakfast (nothing fancy, scrambled eggs and bread and cream cheese and things like this). The best part of the rooms was the balcony with a refreshing view. The rooms were quite spacious and had a small TV in them.The price of this hotel is typically very competitive and hard to beat. However, due to the high demand during my stay, the prices were higher than usual. The lobby was quite small, but there was a bar and grill on the first floor that was busy despite the hotel's size. The food served there was also good.When it comes to rating this hotel, I'm unsure whether to rate it based on its three-star status or overall quality. While the hotel has its shortcomings, such as outdated rooms and limited cleanliness, its location and friendly staff are counted as its strength.
Brittany Elizabeth: What an awesome Best Western! Seriously, it's the nicest BW I have ever seen. It has a beautiful foyer. The woman who checked me in and out was so kind and hospitable. The breakfast area is fairly large, and they had a lot of variety. The gentleman who worked the breakfast shift was friendly and so prompt with refilling items and cleaning the area. He did an awesome job! They have a tasty restaurant attached as well, Copper Tavern. We ordered takeout from there and it was so good! The indoor pool is nice as well, very clean and maintained. The room was clean and spacious. For the price, this was a great value. If I am ever in the Boston area again, I will definitely be coming back! Thanks so much for an enjoyable stay BW! Miguel Londono: I have stayed at this property a handful of occasions and the quality and service have deteriorated recently. The rooms are tired, with chipped furnishings and stained carpets. Worse, however, is the service. The staff does not make you feel like a welcomed guest - they are not personable and even sometimes rude. This property is too expensive, and there are too many better options in Boston, to return.
Vidura Stich: This is the place to stay to enjoy the downtown experience in Boston. Close to public transit, and easy walking distance to numerous historic sites. The rooms are super modern and relaxing.I recommend staying here for a great visit. No car needed!

Chris Rupprecht: Creative design, but maybe went to far to be quirky and now just looks dated, furnishings look and feel like cheap imitations (the place looks like a warfare showroom. The rooms are loud (you'll hear the neighbors, you'll hear the upstairs bar, you'll hear the street. Beds aren't great (mattresses make it feel like you're on a futon or pull out). "Full waterview" is the fort point channel and the barking crab....I'd prefer the city.For the price, if you want this location, stay at the Intercontinental.
Angela Laxson: Great unique hotel on the water. Easy to get around Boston from here. Love the rooms, beds were comfortable. The showers are AMAZING. Would definitely stay here again. I did stay here with children and felt like they were child friendly (my kids were 5 and up).Oh, also ate breakfast there twice and it was very very good with hearty portions.
Devin C.: The view was nice, but the room was much smaller than it looked in pictures (Partial Water View King). To make matters worse, the strange bicycle tv stand had a 2'x2' 3/8" thick steel plate underneath one side that I stubbed my toe on so hard I bled. I was limping a little for a day or so, and I won't be surprised if I lose a toenail. It's right at the narrow foot of the bed (in the only 1.5' of walking room at the end of the bed) and was painted to match the floor. Don't put heavy thick steel plates right where people will be walking!

I’ve reached out to them again for another client who needs a ramp and we are so excited since safety is number one and my client will be able to get outdoors safely.. He answered all of our questions, made the information very clear and accessible, and was very friendly and personable. At no point did I feel pressured, or feel like I was just on the receiving end of some rehearsed sales pitch. The same cannot be said for the sales reps from other companies I met with — one actually made me feel pretty uncomfortable. Leslie Williams: Overall, the Amramp experience was positive. The ramps were installed within a few days and were uninstalled just as quickly. They are solid, well-built ramps that made life easier for my parents.The company could do a better job of communicating, however. When I first called, I played phone tag with the sales rep for a few days, and once I did speak with him, he was very pleasant but abrupt and somewhat disorganized. When my parents called to have the ramps removed, they were told it would be a few days, only to have the team show up unexpectedly because they were in the area.These are minor points, and the Amramp experience was a good one. I would recommend them to anyone in need of temporary wheelchair ramps.

Jim Ryan: Very happy with Amramp! I recently purchased a modular ramp for my elderly mother who has mobility issues. One of my mom's visiting nurses recommended them to me since I did not want the hassle of installing a permanent constructed ramp that would have to go through permitting, etc. The ramp is sturdy and strong and seems like it will be very weather resistant. It was installed in a few hours, the team was very quick and efficient. There are monthly payment plans if you need a modular ramp on a short term basis. It was more cost effective for our family to purchase the ramp outright since it will be a long term investment. Max Valenca, the Amramp representative I dealt with was really wonderful. He came to my house, answered all my questions, and was exceedingly gracious with his time. He gave me a great deal of helpful information in how I could defray some of the costs through insurance and the sales tax exemption here in MA since the ramp is medically necessary. I was extremely satisfied with Amramp and would highly recommend!
