WardMaps LLC: what do users think?
Danny Cohen: This is one of my favorite stores in Cambridge. I love antique maps and postcards, and Ward Maps is one of the few places in the area where I can get my fix. They have a particularly large selection of Boston-area maps, along with some awesome transportation memorabilia.
Joel Bader: Fantastic experience
Daritos: I love this place so much! The customer service is amazing, and it's really cool to just look through all the stuff they have in there. I'd really, really recommend this place and I'm definitely coming back.
Alex C: I'm a total nerd for subways, and I love the T, so this place was a must-visit. I picked up some cool MBTA gifts and prints, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.A must-visit for fans of Boston and the MBTA.
Ethan Long: Trains maps old ephemera and Jim Croce on the radio. Best way to cope with seasonal depression.
Christian Hurley: I worked with the owner to custom print an oversized map and custom cut it to fit several frames to create a custom installation in my home that showed a historical map of the area. Steven worked with me to find the most appropriate solution to the slightly different aspect ratio working to address where the cut lines were and to fill in the gap space. He also custom scanned the map at a higher resolution which preserved all the detail at the blown up scale. I’m delighted that he was able to translate my vision to reality and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. The website was easy to use to find exactly the map I wanted and he and his staff were a delight to work with. If you have any ideas like this that you’d need to partner with someone to bring to life this is the place to go!
Devin Matté: This is my favorite little spot to stop in for Gifts and Trinkets related to the T and transit. Just such a lovely store
Selbie Jason: I had the best experience with Ward Maps. I had received three maps as gifts years ago from their store all from the same year, but I didn't know the year because it wasn't on the front of the maps. Steven went out of his way to help me identify what year the maps were from so that I could purchase maps from the same year of different cities with special meaning to us. He could not have been more helpful or made things any easier. Amazing store and customer service! Thank you so much!
Wendy Adam: Large collection of framed and unframed maps with knowledgeable staff and lots of fun MBTA branded items for all ages and price-ranges.
Pale Fire: Lots of cool maps and the owner is very friendly
Matthew J Shochat: Great selection of maps and MBTA related items. If you're interested in historical maps or local transit, it's a place to go.
Matthew Sadler: Super friendly people with a phenomenal selection of maps, not just of Boston but pretty much anywhere around the world. Nice collection of railroad ephemera too. Very well organized so it’s easy to find exactly what you’re searching for.
Alexander Lopez: Awesome spot to pick up great old school mbta signs & antique maps. Also great wooden mbta trains
Karen Wells: Best source for old maps. I have ordered many and been beyond pleased.
David Kelly: I ran across WardMaps when looking for an 1890s map of my town for a local history project that I was working on. I found a suitable map on WardMap's website and was quite surprised and pleased to see that several sizes were available at reasonable prices (I do realize that these are reproductions). I ordered and in less than a week the map was delivered. Wow. The quality of the map was fantastic. Beautifully printed on sturdy card, totally ready for framing. I was also impressed by the sturdy envelope it was shipped in. Nearly unbendable, it ensured my map arrived in excellent condition. I really do feel that what I received was a great value and I do look forward to doing business with these folks again. Super job!!!
Anupreksha: Love a local small business! Got all my Christmas presents here this year. Bunch of MBTA themed items, as well as vintage maps and related artifacts.
Lorrimer Mann: Awesome little store
Jade Rouse: I don't live anywhere near WardMaps, but the folks there were able to help me via email to find an old map of Providence RI that I had been digging around for in order to give as a gift to my fiancé. They were so patient and helpful, and the map made for such a meaningful and personal gift. The folks at WardMaps are knowledgeable and kind and I highly recommend them!
John T: What a great little gem. Was able to find several great, old maps that we were looking for and had fun spending several hours just looking at many other of the older maps from not just the Boston area but around the world.
Kevin O'Brien: A huge range of maps in all price ranges, plus a great collection of T memorabilia. Prices are more than fair
Kevin T: Awesome store, really interesting items for sale.

MBTAgifts: what do users think?

Zach’s Hockey and MBTA: Great store, was what I want with the MBTA(Magnets, signs, shirts, toys etc.)
Mark Wood: This is a great MBTA gift shop with tons of merchandise and a great collection of maps as well.
Johnny Singer-Torres: Such a great small business. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Best place for a transition enthusiast!
Jacob Evangelista: Nice gift shop got all Bostonians and Public Transit/Geography nerds
Erica Franzman: Wonderful collection of old maps and T/transit items. The owner, Steven, is super friendly! He even helped me out by ordering some new magnets of our home T stop for me.
Jordan Karten: Fantastic collection of gifts and maps!
Evan Clare: Great experience nice mug
oo-: You can find a good T collection and toys and antique maps.
Tristan Larene: Great merch and historical stuff relating to the mbta
Steve Kaplan: Can't wait to get my new sign!
Shaun Robinson: This is just an incredible store, especially for transit and map nerds. They have a huge selection of vintage maps, plus all the MBTA-brand apparel and knickknacks you could think of. They’ve even got old signs pulled straight out of stations and trains. A great stop if you’re visiting Harvard Square, which is just a few minutes south by car (or MBTA bus…).
Marina Wagner: My favorite store in Boston! A hidden gem which has a wonderful collection of maps and similar artifacts for sale as well as MBTA related gifts.
Charley Rangel: Very nice staff and the products are great! I love my shirt I got!
Chris Fay: Great store, absolutely would recommend. It has some perfect gifts to give someone moving to Boston--or even anyone who just likes Boston! Great responsive customer service as well.
Kyle: My son loves trains & it was his birthday so we went to this store & he LOVED it. He will probably become a regular customer lol.
Marshall H: The best
Shawn Cohen: the mbta socks are drippin'
J. F. II: I think like a lot of people who grew up in Boston AND rode the MBTA frequently AND are huge train fans, I have the same reaction: "How the heck am I JUST NOW making it to this store?!" First, note that the ACTUAL name of the store is WardMaps, but so many people know it by the website "MBTAgifts.com" that it basically goes by that name.Anyway, it's chock-full of just about all the MBTA memorabilia you could ask for-- from old schedules to big former actual train signs to, my favorite, train stop magnets, to, in "honor" of the COVID-19 pandemic, face mask with pictures of the various rapid transit trains on them. Since it's TECHNICALLY a maps store, it ALSO has some cool, mostly older maps of the Boston Area, plus some branded merchandise of the NYC Subway.Back to the magnets--WOW, CHEAP at $3.50! Where I've gotten them previously, Newbury Comics, charges $4.99, and the CambridgeSide Galleria cart on the second floor charges a whopping $5.99--and both their selections are limited to boot! I wouldn't be surprised if they had someone from each location just stops by WardMaps once a month and buys a handful and jacks up the price!!Cashier was really friendly and helpful too!
Chris Lowe: A favorite spot
Sam Rojas: I love this place very much

South End Frames: what do users think?
Marc McDonald: I had a few special prints to be framed and didn’t want to skimp on the quality. I’ve purchased frames online and have been to other, more commercial framing businesses and South End frames immediately felt more professional with a much greater attention to detail. Good frames aren’t cheap but if you want to be certain your artwork or photo will be handled with care and finished perfectly, this is the place to go.
levineadam66: Got our ketubah framed by South End Frames. The did a fantastic job and it will always a beautiful reminder of that amazing day
Drew Cameron: Awesome in every way. I had a very large canvas print of my favorite painting that I wanted framed. They made every step easy. Bernie got me a quote quickly, Robbie came to do measurements, and everything was ready in a week or so. I'm really happy with the result and am surprised that my large-size canvas didn't seem to phase them at all. The process was seamless from start to finish, everyone was pleasant and professional, and I got *exactly* what I was looking for. Top notch. Thanks everyone!
Rafael Hernandez: Oustanding customer service, friendly atmosphere. Helped me out greatly!!
Chris Daniels: Peter and his team do a fantastic job. They really take the time to do things well and provide an excellent customer experience. I highly recommend FastFrame.
Chris Bailey: Knowledgeable staff, South end prices
Patricia Wrixon: Peter from Fast Frame has given us the best quality service and framework. He pays attention to detail and makes sure everything is perfect. We highly recommend him and this company for framing services!
Ashley Schiefer: We had an unusual and difficult request. They stepped up to the challenge. In the end, it turned out even better than we had imagined. Fantastic service, professional and friendly staff and stunning results.
Jackie Anderson: Peter has been my go to guy for custom framing. I never know when I will need something quickly for a job. Sometimes just a custom matte cut and FastFrame is willing to cut on the spot if necessary, His employees are very knowledgeable!Never been sorry for choosing FastFrame.
