Since I live in the South & am accustomed to store employees, walk one to whatever it is the customer is seeking. At Market, several employees sent us to different locations in the store. Each one we asked, sent us to a different location. What was most irritating, the store didn't carry what we were trying to locate.

Janine Kunz: This is my go-to grocery store and I'm so thankful there is one nearby. It's by far the most economical choice if you live locally and they have more than everything we need. The place is always very busy but least so during weekday mornings so we usually go then. It's a little crazy navigating the tight aisles but once I learned the "flow" (similar to driving rules) it feels a lot less overwhelming to me.

Beatriz Martins: I constantly do my grocery shopping here for about 17 years. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and delicious. Price got higher as all places is this year of 2023. I was not satisfied with two employees that had bad begging skills throwing my grocery in the bags and was talking too much making with the cashier making them not friendly with the clients.

Daniel Catala: Just got here from a 18 hr drive from Jacksonville FL and saw this grocery store. I was amazed at first as it look clean and they were serving cook food and me and my wife was hungry but we were met with rude staffs (not just one) they don't acknowledge anyone! They would rather talk to their fellow employee than say anything to you. They would not move for you even they clearly you are grabbing items or even saying excuse me. My wife is Asian and when she asked a worker they stared at her and start talking Spanish to each other. I spoke to wife in our native language and also returned the favor to them then talk to them in in their language! I have visited many groceries in many countries and cities in my 24 year military service but this far is the rudest grocery store I've ever stopped at. Unless maybe you are the same race as they are!

Great selection of produce, and l love their ethnic food isle. Their weekly loss leaders may not be as low as their competitors, but here, you won't have to fuzz with digital coupons or memberships. Excellent cafe offering a wide variety of cafe fare at reasonable prices. A wide selection of organic goods at reasonable costs. Ample parking and convenient proximity to the mall's other shops and eateries. You can also buy liquors and spirits here.

James Henry: On lunch hour, I tried to order a BLT Melt. The server didn't know how to make it. It took him 25 minutes to finally get it done, so I asked if he could hurry as I needed to get back to work. He then purposely slowed down. I said I thought he should try harder. He told me I'm not his boss and I said but I am the customer. He then repeated it. I said well i was going to voice my dissatisfactionI did see the manager and voiced my opinion. Funny, I didn't realize he labeled it a roast beef instead of a BLT. I then asked for him to come back but got the assistant and she told me that they were the same price. Guess what my sandwich was $1 cheaper

It has two 12 items or less side by side. The dining area is behind the registers.This Market Basket is very, very busy! The parking 🅿️ lot is full! It looks like BYOB, "Bring Your Own 🛍️ Bag". Paper bags only.Wifi available. The store is in pretty good shape.The man who made our pizza 🍕 needs to work on his customer service skills. The woman who ran the Cafe was great 👍!I recommend this Market Basket .

I was about to leave, but I was unsettled and distraught, it took marsh to find a manager, and he was very understanding and sympathetic when he showed. I’m all set with the Market Basket vibe for good. They need some security in there or self checkouts.

The prices at Market Basket are lower than those at competing supermarkets in the neighborhood. Parking lot lighting is adequate. You should wear a mask, although it's not mandatory.

Scotty Burger: Living right around the corner is super convenient for me and the only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is because I grab alot of food at the Market (hot food) in the front of the store and the lady Lisa (2 years of experience) says it on her name tag has to be the most miserable person I've ever seen in any kind of retail setup in my 32 years on this planet. Wow is she brutal. She basically yells at the customers if they don't know exactly what they want at that precise moment. It's kind of embarrassing to act like that on a daily basis. If she hates what she does that much, there are other places to work in the store, not to mention every place everywhere is hiring. Take a chill pill women and relax.

Carrie Rogers-Rivera: For the most part, this Market Basket location is amazing! It’s not only conveniently located, but has a great selection and a similar floorplan to many of the other stores so it’s easy to get in and out. Today I was super impressed with an employee working the Mexican food section who tried to check inventory on a truck that been unloaded so I could get the taco shells I wanted for my little girls birthday celebration. Unfortunately, she couldn’t locate them but it was definitely the kindness and care that I was so impressed by. One of the only downside to this location, as well as many others, is that market basket hires lots of minority workers who do not speak the local language. Fortunately for me, I speak Spanish and I’m usually able to communicate with said workers, but I think it’s quite wild that most people coming and going in the store do not speak Spanish and would be sadly disappointed/frustrated if they ran into the situation I encountered. Today, for example, I went to the produce section and just needed directed to the limes and the lady stocking looked at me very puzzled and told me she doesn’t speak English. This seems like a common question/phrase and even the words are very similar in both languages. I ask her in Spanish and got to where I needed to go. I really wish that Market Basket would at least support these people by offering some free classes or partnering with organizations that do free classes or even reimbursing English lessons for those who are working for them. customers and the employees, and the entire organization would benefit from this type of program.

Linda Noname: Like all Market Baskets, it's better to avoid the produce and meat departments. The Mall M.B. in Billerica has the friendliest workers, the other 2 in Billerica, not so much. If you are buying grocery staples, the quality is OK, prices aren't as good as they used to be. Stay away from meats and produce and you should be good.
martha calnan: One would think that you could find at least one container of rice cereal in the baby aisle. Nope, rows and rows of oatmeal. I have noticed that stocking means just filling shelves, not replacing empty items. So annoying.
Cory Zipperle: Couldn't find any distilled water. Turns out it was moved from its normal home. A very helpful young lady enrolled the help of other team members until we figured out where it was hiding.

Nancy Gresham: SATURDAY, AUG 28TH, 4:24 PM. I went to the Market Basket located at 496 Boston Rd., Billerica. Cashier #177 SAM RO. When I got home, I found I had a bag missing! I called and had to drive the 20 mile round trip to go pick up the stuff they did not give me. I got to the customer service and the girl there said I COULD GO GET THE STUFF AGAIN!!!! She was on the heavier side with glasses. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I HAVE TO GO FIND THE STUFF AGAIN??? I told her I was not going to do that because I have a bad knee. She finally found someone to do it and he came back with half the stuff on the list. He had to go back and get the rest. When I got home, I found that I got 2% Hood milk instead of whole milk. I am just fed up that I had to waste my time and gas to go all the way back. The checkout line that I was in was NOT busy. I don't know why the guy couldn't put all my bags in my cart instead of giving one to someone else,. So, I'm guessing I paid more for whole milk than I would have for 2% and I don't like 2% milk. But I'm not going back a 3rd time. Someone should have to bring it out to me!
