The Right One: Sephoras beauty insider had some sort of system outage. They requested customers pay more than the insider price with no remedy or come back after the fact.I called customer service to complain. Why would I need to break my budget to support your bottom line. The customer service rep hung up in my face. Needless to say I went to Ulta beauty got what I needed and double the discounts! I’ll be shopping at Ulta from now on.

We got the credit card and then we realized that the 25% will be applied on our next purchase ! We went back… and she said she was sorry to have lied. I have acne and am getting treatment from a board-certified dermatologist, and came in today seeking an affordable product that could brighten my eye area (unrelated to my acne). Not only did the worker assisting me tell me "you get what you pay for" (I am a college student that can't spend $80 on a vitamin C serum at the moment, so sorry), but she condescendingly assumed I needed unsolicited advice on treating my acne. Went into a whole talk about inflammation as if I did not know all this already (again, I'm seeking professional treatment). This location has always been great and is convenient to get to, but I will likely not be returning. This employee, whose name I did not catch, was nothing short of arrogant and was again extremely condescending without knowing my background.

Specifically looking for the Merit foundation stick and this location had all the new shades that released recently. Also, I needed help shade matching my face so big thank you to Veronica for finding my perfect match (shade and undertone). Veronica was so excited for me when she swatched it on my face and it blended into my skin perfectly and I was so happy to find my perfect match after all these years.

Patricia Cosby: I stopped by Sephora Seaport during my lunch. I’m looking for a concealer for mature skin. When I walked in there was several 2 workers standing in the front talking. They both looked at me and back to continue their conversation. This has happened before, it just doesn’t change. This is such a turn off and BTW you’re losing money because of it.. I just left w/out buying anything. Management should be on this. I live just around the corner and go in less and less.
Sookie Cadet: My spouse went to this store to pick up my order and felt like he’s being watched like a hawk. Probably because he’s a black straight male. I am so disappointed at the company as a former employee. Won’t be going to this store again.
Star: This is the first time I’ve had a problem with any of the Sephora stores in Boston. The sales women at the seaport location are rude and unprofessional. I was not going to spend my time or money on such horrible customer service. I walked in on Saturday at about 1pm and the store was empty. I passed two women at the front door talking. They did not offer any friendly greetings, just looked at me and continued talking. As I made my way through the store, I passed to more female sales associates that were also talking to each other and not paying attention to the customer. I started to approach them about a product and they both looked me up and down, and gave me a nasty stare then continued speaking amongst each other.Affronted by such rude behavior I started to make my way out the store. These women could have used company time more productively by making sales rather than using company time to socialize. Also the woman at the front door was management which shows why this location is ran poorly. I will not step foot at this location again.

Ally Shafer: Come here ALL the time, spend ALL my money.Some sales associate gave me so much attitude for opening a drawer to find my product.Hey Sephora (and lady who takes her job too seriously), if you don’t want customers opening the drawers (where they know there is additional inventory), maybe put a sign on the drawers OR lock them. It’s 2022 and we like to self-serve. If rules exist, make it clear what they are and definitely don’t sass loyal customers. Will order online from here on out.

Brandon Harmon: I'm sitting here reading the reviews and honestly cant even begin to imagine some of the stuff people wrote...Let's start off with customer service, I've been shopping at Ricciardi for at least 5 years, and every time I've walked in, they've never once made me feel like I "don't belong in there" or rude. All employees have gone out of there way to help me find what I am looking for, explain and describe items/designers I was unaware of, and also provide alternatives or other pieces I may have interest in (over the years, they've kept an eye on what I like and know exactly what to offer me). Nowadays, Riccardo and the team are homies, I feel comfortable going in to browse, purchase, OR just say hi.I've been in Boston my entire life. I've traveled to major cities across the US and I can truly say that Riccardi is one of a kind. Boston doesn't get as much as NYC or LA, but Boston has Riccardi.P.S. I'm also Asian... Never experienced any of the BS claimed by other reviewers...

I wish they had a stronger online presence because sometimes I want select pieces and instead of buying online I could go to Ricardi and try it on, so I want to know what’s available beforehand. I was interested in a certain item and I pointed one in particular and he said it was a $3k cashmere sweater. I could not tell if he was trying to be sarcastic but he sounded rude. If that was the case, how does he know what I can or can't afford.. I have never experienced this bad of customer service in my life. He was not friendly whatsoever and was not eager to help. People like him should not be working a customer service position at a luxury store. His kind of attitude is an embarrassment for the company.

That is fine with me;,but unfortunately, I lost the piece of the receipt a week later.I contacted the store in-person right away for a new credit gift card in hope that I could spend it on something else but Mr. Ricardi responded that they "don't" have my information in the system;therefore could not do anything. As a customer who have purchased many items for many years from Ricardi, this is unacceptable! I rather shop at Barney's or Saks where they could solve this problem professionally.

Check out the second floor indoor balcony over Boylston St. for a cool view and the video wall going up the stairs! Also, they train their employees really well. They're super welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They must be treated well by their employer. It was refreshing! Check it out!

Tom McManus: Good selection of kitchenware akin to what you would find at Williams Sonoma but with the Boston markup. They have a very good selection of knives and allow you to test them. It would be nice to see more of a focus on supplying items that are not Chinese made

Judy Stitt: I arrived quite late on a Saturday- within 30 minutes of their closing time. I’d called earlier that afternoon to inquire, and the proprietor said they even try to sharpen knives the same day, especially if there is just one knife. I arrived so late that I wasn’t expecting any such service… but the proprietor did not complain a whit- he only very graciously took my knife to sharpen (for a reasonable price), then wrapped it in a cardboard sheaf for greater safety on my trip home.While there at the shop, I took the opportunity to purchase a second paring knife (for friends to use, since they sometimes offer to help prepare a meal while visiting). And then Blackstone’s proprietors gave me some suggestions of where I might like to celebrate my unexpectedly productive and pleasant late afternoon with a dinner out (which is likewise lovely, btw!).I would just want to correct any listing online that states Blackstone’s offers classes: They apparently haven’t for the past year or so, due to COVID concerns, I learned today, and the proprietor said they don’t have a kitchen on the premises. So that info just needs to be corrected (at least, for mid-summer 2022).

There was a faulty item that we needed a replacement for - because the store was being renovated at the time, there was a delay and a bit of lack of communication, but Jennifer reached out to explain the situation and tried to resolve the problem. Now that I know the problem is being taken care of, I am happily updating my review as I look forward to picking up the replacement item and revisiting the store.
Daniel Lopez: A really cool and sweet shop in Beacon Hill! Has a very home cozy vibe and staff are lovely and caring. Located right next to the Paramount if you wanted to stop by before or after. They have plenty of house necessities in case of an emergency and you happen to live by. Also a bunch of tourist items as well!

Used their knife sharpening service and the knives came out great. Cutting meat the next day with them was blissfully easy. The shop is small, but cute with many tools needed for the kitchen. Sam Flood: Knife Sharpening Class: Tanisha was really helpful in stone sharpening techniques for both German and Japanese knives - the process once learned is actually pretty simple but good to have someone work through with you. Additionally Tanisha provided insights into different types of knives and best practices for use. I enjoyed the individual class a lot and as a bonus they sharpen your existing knives. Totally worth the time. Thx for positive experience Tanisha. I will be back!

Lucas Sikina: Knife Sharpening - Good, not great.I got my chef's knife sharpened here. Prior to getting it sharpened, it had 9 months of decent use and was pretty dull. After, it was fairly sharp, but not as sharp as it was brand new. Specifically, I found that slicing delicate fruits / veg still sometimes ended up with some squashing.I ended up sharpening my knife my self later. Learning how to sharpen it was exhausting, and not very fast, but it produced a significantly sharper knife.The people at the shop were friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend their sharpening services for someone who wants a sharper knife, but not for someone who wants a razor sharp knife.
