Spawell Massage: what do users think?
Agatha Coello: Excelente atención ! Kim me ayudo mucho a mejorar mi pos operatorio
Christian Hurley: This place is a hidden gem. The massage here is unlike anything I’ve had at other places in Boston. This is the best massage if you’re having any problem areas that need work. Highly recommend Phuong and his team. Reasonable prices, exceptional massages.
Christine Milewski: I have been coming to see Phuong for over four years- starting with prenatal massages for my back issues and ever since. His skills and kind demeanor set him apart from most other places. I have been gifted super expensive massages at well known spas in New England and they do not even come close to the experience at Spawell. A massage is my go-to gift for those special to me and they are all as blown away as I always am on how well Phuong takes care of his clients. Very affordable. I am a lifetime client! Thank you Phuong.
Joanne Rateau: I regret having to be the one to break the five-star streak however, I was disappointed with my recent visit. I have had chronic neck and upper back pains and after much research, booked an appointment three weeks out with Phuong based on the reviews and relief others had found after having been treated by him. I live 40 minutes from them and was looking forward to the session. To be completely transparent, my appointment was at 3:45 pm however, I did get there at 3:50 and therefore was not on the message table until 3:55. Another therapist walked in and mentioned that she would be treating me. Not being familiar with the place and since I booked the Integrative East Meets West massage, I thought perhaps she was starting with a section and Phuong would come in thereafter. That never happened. She was the one who conducted the full session. The message itself was fine, but there was no explanation as to why Phoung was not the one there. After my massage and because this didn’t happen before the massage, I had expected a short discussion about my intake form, the trouble areas I specified on my neck/back and perhaps some suggestion about future treatments. But, there was none of that which made me wonder what the purpose of completing the form was. What I got was “thank you very much for coming in”. When I got in my car, I saw an email notice that came in at 4:03pm. It was an email from Spawell letting me know that there had been a change in my appointment. Since I was already on the table by that time, I had not seen it until after. That change was from Phuong to the new therapist. Being five minutes late should not have precluded me from seeing the person I booked with. If anything, I had expected that my session would be shorter, which it was because it ended promptly at 5pm, not that I would be seen by a completely different therapist. While I understand that things do happen, it is just common courtesy to inform your client of a change prior to them being there, or at the very least, upon their arrival. Not while the appointment was under way. Since I am a new client, it was probably easier to shuffle around my appointment, but the experience has made me a one-time client. I thought the whole experience was very impersonal and cold. Not sure that this would be the place for someone who is seeking a long term treatment.
Tania Ploumi: Best massage I have ever had in Boston
Tiana: I had my first massage here last month as a birthday gift to myself and it was nothing short of amazing. Phuong was really kind and knowledgeable. All the pain in my back dissipated after my massage and I feel incredibly relaxed. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend.
Dea Moore: I started at Spawell almost a year now. Clean, friendly and knowledgeable about pain management. Phuong, is truly an excellent massage therapist 🤗. Best Hidden Gem in Dorchester!
Chris Neptune: Ooooommmmgooooodness! A friend gifted me a massage as my birthday gift and it was the most satisfying experience I can remember. Phuong just did eeeevvveerrryyything. I'm honestly not even sure the type of message she gifted me because it literally felt like as time went on the massage was being tailored to what he felt from my body.I was stretched, cupped, rubbed, rolled upon and left SUPER SATISFIED and knees weaker than AMAZING night with that special someone😉.Told ya watch out for this review 👍🏾, I appreciate your knowledge and talent.🎉🎂🥃
Collette Jackson: From the moment you enter Spawell, you experience a feeling of peace and tranquillity. My masseuse asked what I wanted from my massage, frequently inquired about my comfort during my massage and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I’m looking forward to returning in 6 weeks!!
Robyn D: Phuong did an incredible job! I went to Spawell for post-op lymphatic drainage massages and I’m so happy I did! Phuong wasn’t afraid to really dig in and break up the fibrosis. He was very communicative and shared what tools and techniques he was using and what knowledge he had about the overall healing process. He did not try to up-sell me on additional visits. Instead, he was confident that we could get my body where we wanted it after 4 visits and he totally delivered! I highly recommend going to Phuong for LDM. I’ll be back soon for a more standard massage too!
Erin Caldwell: Good therapists and treatment but not the most relaxing venue. More of a PT experience than a spa, which is ok if that's what you're looking for.
Thomas Powers: My neighborhood place. Good food, drinks, snax, service. Love the waitstaff
Melissa Robinette: I have been visiting Spawell Massage for 2 years and have always been so impressed with the care and comfort I receive. I've had difficulty with back for years and Phuong has been so knowledgeable and methodical about helping me. After each appointment I always feel so much better. This year I got pregnant and Phuong has been so amazing through each step of the journey! I'm now in my third trimester and he was able to get this fantastic maternity pillow that made it possible for me to lie safely and comfortably on my stomach for the massage. It was the first time in months that I felt the weight off my midsection. It was a treat to be able to totally relax. I can't imagine going through my pregnancy without Phuong making sure my body is well taken care of. I cannot recommend Spawell enough for all their services and especially prenatal!
Evelyn Nuñez: Positive:QualityHighly recommend booking an appointment here! Phuong was super professional and really deeply massaged both my ankles/foot as needed. After the massage he provided me with tips for further healing. Overall, you will walk out of there feeling satisfied!
Suzanne James: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityPhuong is very professional and polite. He gives an excellent massage. I highly recommend going to him!!
Ebonie James: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Josh Robertson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityDuring my many years of getting massages never have I experienced someone as outstanding as Phuong. The personalization to your needs, kindness and elite level skills he displays every single time keeps me coming back no matter where I have lived in the Boston area. He is undoubtedly one of a kind.
Nathan Fried-Lipski: I can't say enough good things about Phuong and his work. As a photographer, I am always needing work done on my shoulders and upper back from carrying gear. He gives me a "tune up" that gets me right on track and feeling great! Whether it is dealing with daily pain from work and life, or working on older injuries, I can always trust in Phuong to take great care of me with his wide array of techniques.
Shekeira Springer: Hands down one of the best! Phuong is extremely professional and very informative you can tell right away he is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field definitely 10 out of 10!! The location is perfect the atmosphere is perfect I look forward to every appointment!! 🤗(Ladies coming from Miami 😉 this is the place to be)
Neuza Tavares: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI highly recommend Spawell Massage. Great service, super convenient location with parking. Very friendly staff! Check them out!

Be Well Boston - Massage Therapy: what do users think?
Gigi Gunderson: Writing this review after a truly fantastic deep tissue massage with Chad - he took a detailed intake to figure out why I was in and used a variety of modalities to treat my pain. I walked out feeling 10x better than when I walked in and will be recommending this place to any athlete looking for a professional, top-quality sports massage in Boston
Rebecca Morrissey: I came into Be Well this morning with a painful lower back and sciatic pain. Priscilla was absolutely fantastic, she really focused on this and I left feeling so much better - moving more freely, relaxed and the pain almost gone. Thank you!
Tyler Gibbs: I was in town just for the day and decided to book a session. From initial greeting, it was clear that Priscilla values client comfort and has a passion for understanding and improving overall health. I was anticipating just a basic therapeutic massage, but once we began, I was inspired to share some of my pain points with Priscilla. She set about addressing them and sharing some of her knowledge along the way. During the session itself, I was experiencing some relief and increased ease of motion, smirking quietly to myself in relative disbelief at the immediacy. Bravo, Priscilla and Be Well Boston!
Sarah: Eric has been great!
Jordan Sigg: Positive:Professionalism,QualityEric is amazing! I’ve had a lot of massages in my life and this was the best I’ve ever had in terms of pain relief. Eric is incredibly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for the client. My shoulders haven’t felt this good since I was a kid!
Katheryn Mora: I’ll never forget how much this massage therapy help me! Thank you, Katrina:):) you literally have an amazing energy, your place is welcoming and it has everything I needed to feel so much better. Also, Thanks to my lovely friend who got me the best 60 min gift certificate! :):):)
A Baje: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAngel Lopez is one of the best massage therapist I have been to. I've been to him several times thus far and he us very intuitive to my needs and how to address them.
Kate Shapiro: A prenatal massage with Katrina is the BEST THING! She really knows what she’s doing and knows how to safely administer a massage that will actually improve back or neck pain. The cushion/pillow that allows a pregnant woman to safely lay face down makes all the difference, too. Using wedges even when you’re on your back makes the whole experience very tailored to suit a woman well into the 3rd trimester.
Nicholas Manganaro: I had a great experience and I will go back.
Emily O'Brien: I was able to book Katrina last minute from a cancellation, and I was beyond happy with my massage. It is absolutely baffling to me how many massage therapists are just ok, or not very good at what they do (and even fewer who are good at prenatal massage), so when you find one that “gets it” and is as skilled as Katrina, it’s like hitting the lottery! She is amazing, hit all the right spots, and I will definitely be back.
Bette Skandalis: Jim takes away pain! Professional operation.
RussellKech: Great people, excellent service and treatment!
Alexia Cesar: Chad is a LIFESAVER. Before seeing him I had worked with doctors & physical therapists for months to try to get rid of the sciatic pain preventing me from sitting and exercising. All to no effect.I had one session with Chad and he correctly identified the source of the problem as my piriformis rather than my back and gave me immediate relief. I went from not being able to sit for more than 10 minutes to being able to sit for an hour or more within a single session. He is thoughtful and truly cares about getting to the root of your problem. I can't recommend him more highly!
Rani Wise: I've been looking for a go-to massage therapist in Boston for a long time. While I love a relaxing experience, what I really needed was someone who could help with the knots and pains that disrupt my life. After several massages that were either too gentle or too deep (and my husband was no longer willing to assist), I FINALLY found Caroline at Be Well Boston! She gets it. She understands referred pain, working on where the misalignment or muscle imbalance actually is, compared to just where the pain is presenting. After really messing up one of my shoulders, I booked three consecutive appointments (one per week) to deal with the problem and feel 100% back to normal. Now visiting between 4-6 weeks to maintain is exactly what I need to continue to feel good without extreme issues. If you're going to spend money on a gym membership or looking for post-PT bodywork, you should add Caroline to your regiment (she may even treat you to some Dave Matthews Band during the session!) I am looking forward to referring her to my friends in Boston. She's the best.
B. Fischer: I have been seeing Jason for years for deep tissue massage. Jason is fantastic! He is well versed in massage therapy and is the only person I see to alleviate my lower back and muscle issues. Thank you Jason for, yet, another wonderful massage!
Darryn Campbell: I've been going to Be Well for almost 4 months, seeing mainly Janelle but have seen several others including Katrina and Becca. Picked the place totally at random based on proximity to work, but don't think I could've possibly made a better choice. Every therapist I've seen (and I'm confident it holds for the rest, just can't speak from experience) really cares about her clients' health and wellness, and tries to understand as much as she can about your lifestyle to help diagnose and attack your physical issues. Janelle especially is fantastic! I have deep-rooted shoulder and neck tension that causes frequent, incapacitating headaches, and since I started regularly seeing Janelle, they are so rare I couldn't even say the last time I had one. I've seen lots of massage therapists over the years, but never have I had someone this therapeutically effective while still managing to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I would see her every week if I could, but I'm amazed at the progress she's been able to make on a bi-weekly basis. Highly recommend Be Well and Janelle in particular.
Tamaki West: My husband and I have been going to Be Well for years since they opened (but we were seeing Jim, the owener even before). As I am from Japan where you can get good massage everywhere and was always very picky about it in the US...but I tried Jim years ago and he really met my expectation! Jim has helped with my tension headache, neck and shoulder pains, back pains, my husband's super hard shoulder pains, Bell's palsy, lower back pains, tendonitis, and more. The great thing about Jim (and Be Well's philosophy) is to teach you what you can do to prevent the pain you have (how to do the stretch for certain muscle). He is not only interested in getting rid of your pain but also working with you not to get the pain again or to keep the benefit of the treatment as long as you can.I have also seen Katrina for pre-natal massage. I went to her while I was pregnant when I needed to get my achy pregnant body treated, and after I had a baby. She knows how to work with delicate pregnant women's body physically and mentally (and post prenatal) as well as very stiff muscles in non-pregnant related cases, which my husband can attest well.Other therapists at Be Well were great as well. We had almost everyone work on us before as we sometimes have urgent needs and make a last minute appointment with whoever is available. They all have helped us with our muscles. You just need to tell them what you like (deep or soft, or any particular request you might have) and they will accommodate whatever your needs are.I get very thirsty after each treatment at Be Well, which is a good sign of getting detoxed by their deep tissue massage - I have to drink tons of water every time.Jim and Katrina really care about your well-being and they practice that with their thoughtfulness and a sense of humor. We highly recommend Be Well.
Gerdette Armour: The best massage place in Boston! I'm pretty fussy when it comes to a massage, I know a quality massage when I get one! These guys are awesome, they really know their stuff. I've recommended their services to friends and family...they always come back with rave reviews! Beautiful space, professional and extremely knowledgeable staff! The best!!
Pat Bair: Ya know how sometimes you can just tell whether or not you are in good hands? Two minutes into my initial conversation with Jessica, I knew that I came to the right place. The whole experience here was terrific. I recently had my first session with Jessica. She was sincerely interested in understanding what was bothering me, offered her expertise and guided our conversation to reach alignment on what would be best for me. The work she did on me loosened up my body and put me into a dream-like trance (you know what I'm talking about if you've had a great massage). After the session, she explained typical reasons why my lower back gets tight and demonstrated a few stretches that I now do on the regular. When I received a follow-up email with descriptions and images of the stretches Jessica went over with me, I was completely hooked. Not only is this incredibly caring, but also so appreciated since I was too out of it after my session to fully grasp how best to maintain my lower back. Absolutely recommend Be Well Boston.
Jonathan Lawrence: Be Well Boston is a phenomenal place to receive clinical massage. I have been a regular client of Be Well Boston (working with Jim Memory) since it opened in 2009, and worked with Jim for a year before that, bringing my tenure with Jim to four years.I have found my experience to be nothing short of great each and every time I return. I am a runner and a cyclist and initially found Jim while trying to treat a terrible case of ITBS (eventually requiring surgery). Without Jim's expert care, I would not be able to lead the active lifestyle that I enjoy. I found on my "medical journey" that it is very difficult to find therapists/doctors/etc. that are able to treat unusual injuries. Jim is one of those people, and I have stuck by him ever since. He diagnoses the problem, gets to work, and gives me all the information I need to understand the injury and treatment. His knowledge of his profession is incredible - he has helped me with EVERY issue that I have had (and I've had a lot!)The location is great and the space is really comfortable and welcoming.I recommend Be Well Boston without hesitation. Over the years I have referred many friends and family and everyone has been blown away by the level of treatment received (so I know it's not just me that thinks this highly of Be Well Boston!). That's the true testament to the team of therapists - everyone I know who's gone has been glad that they did.

The Thai House Massage and Spa: what do users think?
Chris Long: My wife and I came to the area for a concert and a small getaway for my birthday. We had some extra time during the day so I set up a massage here. This was the best massage I have ever gotten. She worked out parts of my body I didn't even know hurt. It was an awesome experience and will come back again if I'm ever in the area. Do not hesitate to come here. The people were also very nice and had simple refreshments in the waiting area. Very clean place as well. Do yourself a favor and call and schedule an appt.
C Picc: Best massage! Perfect pressure and customer service and 10 hours later I still feel great. I highly recommend coming here.
pmathew63: Eye opening experience. Very different from traditional massage techniques that I’ve experienced, in particular with joint mobilization techniques. I’m definitely following up with them.
ILAKIYA: Very relaxing and calming atmosphere with great service. I think it's worth the money for sure. The masseuse was very good at communicating and making sure I was comfortable.
Deepika V: One of the best massages I’ve ever had!I had a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck.Felt much better directly after the service,I can move around freely and comfortably! Will definitely be back!Thank you so much!
Jennifer Marshall: Best massage in a long time! Had a medium pressure Swedish massage by Nisa. Fantastic. Highly recommend.
Free Marie wright: Ok so this is my second time at Thai .. I needed 90 minutes April was super strong and gentle where needed .. She stretched every inch and as always it’s clean and professional here I love it .. the location is convenient for me as well
M Wright: I was so happy to find The Thai House. Had no idea they were right here near Longwood / Brookline AveI am a 90 minute girl when it comes to massages ..they had an opening so I hopped in Uber ! It’s a Beautiful clean , quiet space , easy to book and the massage was amazing . Therapist walked on me twisted and kneaded til every knot came out. She used Hot Stones in all the right places I’m now relaxed andHad I not had an appt after I would have paid more to sleep for an hour.Notes : make sure to discuss any pains you have , and most of all breathe !𝑬𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚
Eddies: You can go into Chinatown and spend $60-70 for a one hour glorified back rub or you can spend a bit more and come here for the real deal. Walk on back, deep tissue and wrap up with some Thai stretching. Outstanding. and just what I needed. They offer a variety of styles including Traditional Thai (more stretching), deep tissue, and sports massage.
Abdalla Abdi عبدالرزاق بن محمود: They are friendly and follow up for appointments. Their mixed massage is a good combination.
Albert Tan Lim: Excellent Thai massage experience!
Jon Langbert: Excellent and authentic Thai deep tissue massage! Even better than the ones I’ve had in Thailand over the years. Extremely clean environment, and even better: water bottles and mini candy bars in the waiting room!
Afifa Mehmood: The place is nice and clean and I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I wish I had found this place earlier. I’m moving to NY and went for a massage to relieve myself of moving stress. I also had a couple of tight spots from pole dancing, including stiff arms. I saw Mo. She was amazing. Everything was so professional and the communication was great. I got a combo of deep tissue and hot stones. Mo also used her feet and stretched my body and checked with me often about the pressure. The hot stones and towels were such a treat. My body feels loose and amazing. I would definitely come again when I’m in Boston.
dhanashree vedpathak: I visited this place after reading multiple good reviews. Overall experience was not bad, but I am giving 3 starts only because i requested appointment for reflexology and back massage ( 30 min each). I confirmed it while checking in and before starting the massage. Still I was given full body massage. Massage therapist was good and offered apology but I was bit disappointed. Hoping this will not happen to any other client going forward.
Sami Amer: Very kind and respectful, and were very thorough. Rates are very competitive and the couples massage was well worth it. I got the combination massage and the stretching portion especially was very good.
latoya wright: Pamela was the best !
Alison Day: Best.👏 Massage's.👏 EVER.👏My Mom found this place because I had just moved to the Boston area and really messed up my back with the move. This place fixed it perfectly. I now try and go at least once a month. 😄💯
Cecile Braun-Jones: Unassuming place w friendly staff. I booked a "combination" massage not sure what i was going to get. I had a great experience. My therapist was fantastic, checked on pressure here and there and offered a fabulous service. I booked a future apt on my way out
Alex FitzGerald: Sandy was wonderful. I had a fantastic massage that was relaxing and therapeutic. My neck feels a million times better. I will definitely be coming back.
Tanya Melnikova: Visited for hot stone therapy, super relaxing! Definitely coming back
Derek777: UPDATE EDIT 3-8-22: I have been coming here for almost two full years and had close to 100 massages. The Thai House Massage and Spa continues to provide the best in Thai Massage Therapy. I recently saw Sandy and Mo on two separate occasions. They each did a wonderful job getting out the knots and aches and pains in my upper back, neck, legs and shoulders. Each of these talented and wonderful Thai ladies was very professional and courteous on every possible level. Sandy and Mo were also very, very friendly, knowledgeable, understanding and skillful. I truly appreciate the great massage that I received from each of them. Warm towels and hot stones are also available, as well as lots of refreshments and snacks. This Spa is always very clean and smelling good. I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed. The 90 dollars and the extra cash tip that I gave to each of them was well worth it! Thank you very much Mo, Sandy and the great owner, Nisa, at Thai House Massage and Spa!8-27-21. I have been coming here once per week for more than 15 months for a total of almost 70 visits. My back and shoulder problems are gone due to their excellent work. The ladies here are always professional, friendly, compassionate, intuitive and always make sure that they take care of all your aches and pains. They have even fit me in on days when they were fully booked which I certainly appreciate. Nisa, Pam, Nine, Kim and April are highly skilled in the field of massage therapy. Thank you so very much ladies!5-6-21 - Visited here yesterday and saw April for a massage. It was excellent. April was professional, courteous and was attentive to the problem areas of my legs and feet, which were very sore. I have shin splints from running and April did an excellent job with massaging out that area of my calves by using hot stones and deeper tissue modalities. The Thai House Massage in Brookline has top of the line professionally licensed massage therapists and I do highly recommend them for all of your message therapy needs.4-26-21 - Had a great massage today with "Nine". She was very thorough, professional and very friendly. Felt great afterwards, as all my aches and pains went away leaving me feeling fresh and strong. Thank you, Nine.Quick update on 10-23-2020: I have been coming here weekly for more than three months. Each massage is soothing, relaxing and therapeutic. The prices are also very reasonable. Nisa and Pam do great work, including hot stone therapy, on my back and shoulder areas. My left shoulder has felt much, much better since I started coming here and I am very happy about that. They are always in full compliance with the COVID-19 protocols, to ensure a very clean, safe and healthy massage environment. After reading some of the great reviews of the Thai House, I decided to give it a try. I spoke with the owner, Nisa, on the phone to book the appointment. Nisa was so very friendly, accommodating and courteous during our conversations. In fact, she even called me back after I had left a message a day or so earlier, which showed me that Nisa truly cares about her clients. When I came in, I was warmly greeted by Pam, who was my massage therapist. Pam did an absolutely fantastic and thorough job! She displayed a great working and functional knowledge of her craft. Pam also did some stretching and flexibility movements that really helped my sore muscles, especially in my upper back, shoulders and neck area. Pam was friendly, courteous and a highly skilled massage therapist. In fact, the massage was so smooth and relaxing, that I actually fell asleep during part of the session. When the session was completed, Pam booked me for another appointment later this week. Pam also mentioned that clients get one free massage after the tenth visit. That is a nice incentive to motivate people to keep coming back for a great massage. Thank you, Nisa and Pam for a great customer service and massage experience. I look forward to becoming a regular, weekly client.😊

Smile Thai Health Spa: what do users think?
Alec: Incredible. Very relaxing and I haven’t felt this loose in years.
Kern PH: My boyfriend and I came here for a couples massage and it was amazing. The staff were attentive and the experience was extremely relaxing. They ensured you felt at home and comfortable throughout the entire session. If I ever find myself in Smiles again, I will return!
starmasterx oppo: I had Jenny for a deep tissue Massage and it was amazing, she got all of my knots and loosened me up all while being gentle Beautiful place .
PARZIVRL: Good place, staff are friendly and rooms are clean, sanitized after use. So felt safe also my massage was good. Overall took care of my knots. Would recommend the spa to my friends and I will be neck
Hermann Benesch: Sehr gute Thai Massage
Ayanna: I visited this facility back in the summer to have a regular Thai massage. On the form where they asked what kind of pressure you wanted, I chose medium, but the actual massage was one of the most painful experiences of my life. The masseuse used the hardest pressure possible, to the point where I cried several times and I thought they were going to break my back and legs. They could see that I was in extreme pain and I even asked them to lessen the pressure, but one of them said I chose medium pressure. That was far from medium pressure, and I've never felt anything like it! Also, the room was very cold and at the end of the massage, they added a tip to my total charge.A few days later I got a voicemail reminding me about a follow up appointment that I did not make. I quickly called them to cancel but I found that to be a huge red flag. It was a painful and scary experience, and I'll patronize businesses that don't try to injure their customers.
Sahil Bhuptani: If you are looking for a skilled yet relaxing massage with the option of higher than normal pressure (they offer Ashiatsu) in a controlled manner - you should look no further. I have been a regular customer here for the past few months, and was able to see tremendous results in helping me heal my left SI joint injury.I would personally recommend going with Pam with whom I have seen wonderful results!Highly recommend this place for occasional and regular massages! They also offer cash discounts
Pranit Prizzia: Very good massage and very relaxing. Thank you Jenny.
Øystein R.: Fantastic spot, been coming there for years! If you like a good hard massage that gets into those old muscle knots you'd forgotten about, this is it
Happy Mom Life: Jenny was a great massage therapist and truly listened to my needs to make me feel relaxed. I HAD a pinch nerve in my neck and pain was traveling to the back of my head. In addition; I had a sprained right ankle. Jenny applied perfect pressure on both problematic areas at which I walked out of the spa pain free from my neck! My ankle is slightly swollen but the swelling definitely went down from the relaxing and therapeutic massage I was given. This is my second visit here and I will be back in the near future!
Sara G: Fabulous massage and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
Syd H. Russell Leed: All the 1 star reviews are true and it doesn’t matter. The quality of the massages more than makes up for minor scheduling inconveniences. I have gone to many different massage therapists and the best ones have been here. The masseuses are very kind, accommodating of different preferences, and can quickly recognize what each body needs. If they don’t have a record of your appointment, try letting them know whether you booked it online or by phone, I believe there are two separate lists. This has happened to me and I was still able to get my appointment even though I was initially told it wasn’t booked.
Amrit Singh: Great place
Sujitra Taimmoungpan (pookie): “Fantastic” I went to many Thai massage in USA. This place is the best I never had. This make me feel the same when I got Thai massage in Thailand. They know what they do. This place is professional people and Knowledge.Absolutely I will be back. This is my favorite place.
Catherine Feng: I've been here before with my fiancé, and we both loved our massages. I couldn't wait to come back here when I had a free weekend, but unfortunately, the service was not the same as I had remembered. The signature part of the massage that I was most looking forward to was when the masseuse walks on your back - this did not happen at all, which was a bit strange, but I did not mind so much since the massage itself was still pretty decent. At the end is where it gets a little weird.. as I'm checking out, I hand over $140 in cash. Initially, I had thought the massage was $120, so I was always meaning to leave a $20 tip. She lets me know it was $130, and asks me 'Was it not good?' I said, 'Yes, it was good!' The receptionist then proceeds to pull out a piece of paper with a handwritten note that says 'Buy me a Budlight' and how much 20% would equal i.e., 20%=$29. If you calculate it yourself, 20% of 130 is actually $26.. Anywho, besides the mathematical miscalculation, I then proceed to hand her another $20 and ask for $10 in change to stick with my original plan of leaving a $20 tip, which would have still been 15% tip for the massage. When I ask for my change, she again points to the paper and refuses to give me anything, basically just staring at me. At this point, I'm feeling extremely awkward since the masseuse has also walked up during this time. She did do a good job, so I end up letting it go and not pressing the matter further.Honestly, I am all for tipping for great service, and I know these ladies work hard. However, I do not appreciate being pressured to give more of a tip when I felt like the tip I was giving was sufficient (their website even states that 10%-20% is typical). It definitely felt very shady to me, and honestly, I probably won't be coming back anymore due to that strange interaction. It sucks because I really liked this place, but at the end of the day, making your customers uncomfortable and forced to do something is not going to make them come back.
Chandani Sharma: They give really great massages and work out all your knots, really professional and helpful
Amanda Shore: They’re always excellent, I love that they walk on your back, and incorporate stretching into the massage. I always leave feeling taller and lighter.
Anfal ME: Oil was cold, room was freezing, the therapist was late and didn’t even give me my whole 90 minutes and then she basically forced me to tip her 20% even when the email they sent me that it’s not a mandatory I gave her 10% and she said no you have to give me at least 20% not going back again and don’t recommend it.
Dennis A: Appointments booked to close together, not giving anytime for staff to prepare and causing appointments to be late. Have the same girl do a 1 hour massage 6-7, then next 7-8... how can they expect to be on time when need to clean/prepare room first, and it just cascades from there getting later and later. Also charge more for credit card (10%), which is illegal in Massachusetts! The massage was great, staff is friendly, management/owner seems to be the problem here being too greedy with crazy credit card fee and booking appointments on top of each other!
Ana Carreto: Ok so the massage is sooooo good, one of the best I’ve had. Everyone is so nice as well, kind and friendly. Why 4 stars? Because - and I quote: “Tips should be $15 - $20 each”. Wait, “should be”? I mean…
Amanda S: Place is fantasticcccc! 10/10!

Boston Chair Massage, Nationwide: what do users think?
Kim Cahill: We used Boston Chair Massage as a wellness event for our students and they were wonderful! Students loved how each massage was personalized to them and the staff at BCM gave them stretching tips to take home. The staff were on time, friendly and took time to connect with our students. We look forward to working with them again.
Jaritza and Tom: Chris and her team were great. They were able to accommodate chair massages in our Boston and Worcester offices with just 2 weeks notice! The staff were very professional, friendly, and very good at massage therapy. Our employees loved it! Prices were reasonable, and we would definitely recommend their services.
Tiffany Wong: Great experience for our students. They loved it!
Leana Cutone: We had Boston Chair Massage come to our office for a small team appreciation event, and it was great. Communication with the Boston Chair Massage team was great, they made sure to respond in a timely manner. We are looking forward to having them back at our office again!
Women and Gender Studies Program MIT: We booked with Boston Chair Massage for 3 hours and they were wonderful to have! Each event participant left the massage chair nearly levitating. Everyone enjoyed them! We are so grateful!
MGHfC Residencies: Such a great experience with Boston Chair Massage. They were very professional and exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to have them come back for more massages! Thank you!
Laura Harrington: What a fantastic way to celebrate employee appreciation day! Carolyn, our massage therapist, was wonderful and our teachers all enjoyed their 15 minutes of relaxation! I would definitely recommend Boston Chair Massage!
Hope Rupley: I have now done two events with Boston Chair Massage and cannot say enough about the company. It is by far the most popular event that we have all year. The massage therapists that have come were all incredibly professional and easy to work with. They arrived on time and worked hard for three straight hours. Chris, the owner, responds quickly to inquiries and makes sure that everything runs smoothly, and it always does.
Simi Chandiramani: Massage therapist, Jen, was an amazing human. She was so positive and happy to be helping our team, even at 5 am. Our employees loved her and said it was the best massage of their lives. Some people fell asleep, which is compliment for a massage! BCM was prepared, organized, extra communicative, and absolutely amazing. We will book them again each quarter.
Beth Musser: Boston Chair Massage was so easy to work with and helpful. The massage therapists were professional, showed up on time, and were wonderful to work with. I thought they made my event great.
Caroline Roberts: My masseuse freed me from near constant pain with 15 minute massage that focused on arthritis in my lower back. Absolutely transformative! It was relaxing and 2 days later my pain is still lessened and my mobility is increased!
Matthew McCluskey: Highly recommended.Boston Chair Massage is great! I have had one of their massage therapists come to my office twice now for Engineers Week to give chair massages to employees - they are a big hit! We only had 10-minute massages (you can choose longer ones), but even that is enough time to take a break and come out feeling relaxed and refreshed. The therapists are highly skilled and know how to create a relaxing environment. Their new online scheduling tool allows people to sign up for appointments by just clicking a link, which makes things extremely easy. The only thing I will do differently next time is have them stay longer and give longer massages!
Maura M: Kristan did a wonderful job putting me at ease, asking what type of massage I was looking for, and checking in with me throughout the appointment. She is wonderful!
Topister Bonyo: First Experience with Boston Chair Massage was amazing. Natasha created a great ambiance and accommodated our last minute request for a chair massage with grace and poise. Communication was clear and fast. I would definitely recommend BCM and plan on using their services in the future.
Micaela Hamakawa: Boston Chair Massage is wonderful. We had them come to our office for 10-minute chair massages for our staff, and it was a great experience that was very much appreciated by everyone here!
Morgan Simko: Loved my recent experience with Boston Chair Massage! They've been coming to my place of work for years, and I always sign up as soon as I see they'll be in our building. Highly recommend!
Candace Fonzi: BCM has come to our workplace and provided chair massages for 25+ employees on two occasions now. The entire experience including customer service, the massages and the interactions with the therapists have been wonderful. We look forward to continuing to use BCM in the future.
Vanessa Bighinatti: Boston Chair Massage was great! They came out to our office and helped our staff destress. They made scheduling and details as seamless as possible. Our staff already wants them to come back!
Robin Smith: Look no further! This is who you want for your chair massage event!
Sabrina Delance: Boston Chair Massage came into our work building for a session. My co worker and I went together and thought it was AMAZING! We didn’t want it to end. If they made us feel that good in 15 minutes, I can only imagine how we’d feel after a full session.I felt like jelly afterwards because Veronica Page really got in there and did her thing. Never had a chair massage before and I would definitely do it again. Neither of us wanted to go back to work but it made us relaxed and happier for sure. I bet you’ll get lots of positive feedback for sure. Thank you for making me feel great for a short time. It was greatly appreciated.
Mark Haley: I have a catering company and I wanted to surprise my employees. This worked out perfect. We all liked it so much I think I need to plan to do it again soon.

Boston Wellness Massage: what do users think?
W. Ryan Hatch: Not a “calm” massage, which was perfect! I need some real deep work done to get my back to loosen up. The traditional Thai massage, with the walking on my back, did just that plus got my spine to adjust in a few places.
Kirsten Vaughan: Cindy is phenomenal! I always walk out if an appointment feeling like a new person. Cindy knows how to relieve any back type of back pain.
Christian Cowles: Amazing massage. Did a great job of asking what I was looking for and fixed me up!
Maitha Al Maeeni: Very bad experience,, I can’t forget how bad was it
Mahnoor Mahmood: Cindy is always incredible! She is an expert and has a technique to her massages. There is no doubt she knows what she’s doing! She is great at relieving knots and knows the trigger points to address. I always feel the best after I go to her. I have been going to her for a year and she has always provided excellent service!
William: Wonderful people. Excellent service.
Joel Zea: Cindy is an incredible massage therapist. I get a lot of massages and I consider her one of the best I’ve tried.
Emma Downey: Just had my first massage with Cindy, and it was probably the best massage I’ve ever had!!! (I get massages often and have had many) I got the medical massage with CBD oil, and while it was definitely an intense massage, it felt amazing and my back feels better than it has in a long time. Also sometimes after deep tissue/intense massages I tend to feel like someone beat me with a baseball bat and very sore, but after this one I just feel loose and relaxed and the pain is gone. Couldn’t recommend it enough and I will definitely be back! worth every penny
Bev Roshy: Cindy was amazing!!!! She explained and understood my problem areas, I’ve never had such a great massage, my knots on my shoulders are gone and I felt so relaxed after, thank you so much Cindy.
Ike: My first massage I’ve ever had, and Cindy did not disappoint! I went with the Deep Tissue massage and I really liked how Cindy got real deep into it. I felt rejuvenated and loosened up after the massage. She communicated with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was never too much to handle. Good experience!
Sam Mel: Wow this was such a great deep tissue massage. My husband and I both felt it was one of the best we ever had. I would highly recommend Cindy if you are in the area!
Maya B: After this massage, I was able to stretch without pain -- it was amazing. My friend even noticed that my posture had improved. She was very deliberate and her movements and the massage was completely personalized. I can't wait to come back.
Ava Carter: By far the best deep tissue massage I've ever had! It was amazing and Cindy was wonderful.
Samuel Burke: One of the best massages I have ever had! I full recommend this place!
98dubbie: Best Deep Tissue Massage EVER!. This massage was truly to get all the knots out and leave you sore the next day but genuinly relieved. Both myself and my girlfriend got massages here and we loved every second of our separate experiences. If you have a knot you need to get out...go here!
Jamie Campbell: Good knowledgeable staff. They knew how to get rid of my pain.
Justin Tettenborn: Fantastic experience. Will return again
May Nguyen: Hidden at a small corner where you will need to enter in a building, this place is a gem. This was my first massage in the Boston area and amy took care of me. She made and accommodate to my liking, attentive to small details such as making sure the pressure on my body, temperature of the room, temperature of the massage oil, & the music. I felt soo relax and I wish it never ended but sadly it did and I will for sure come here for my next treat myself gift. I highly recommend anyone who needs a little pick me up to come here. Ahhh smiling as I’m walking because I feel so rejuvenated :)
Evan Fox: That was awesome…. Great massage and very friendly.
Deborah Spencer: Amazing massage...very reasonable prices compared to other Thai massage spas I have been to in Boston area.
Kaitlin Bickford: Positive:Professionalism,Quality

Didi's Spa: what do users think?
Maria Isabel Torres Perez: Demasiado profesional el servicio! Excelente calidez humana
kaitlin andryauskas: I went to Didi’s spa for a facial and it was amazing 🤩. First off, my skin looks great, I look 3-5 years younger than I did this morning. Define lines are reduced, and Didi introduced me to a great product for sunscreen.Secondly, it was the most relaxing facial I’ve ever had. She has a marvelous touch, and it was extremely relaxing and restorative. I can’t wait to go back
don byakuya: This experience was very frustrating. The massage wasn’t bad yet I didn’t get to enjoy the massage for the entire time as Lily ended before my time was up. This is unacceptable. I also peeped the reaction of Lily when it was time to cash out that tip. I felt uncomfortable making that transaction and hope she can cool out one day and just do her job.
Gürkan İlkehan: It was a bad experience, they rushed it and get too much money. And they deleted my comment from under.
Angela Sobieck: We had the most amazing couples massage with Didi and Lily. They were both very attentive to our individual needs and made us feel extremely comfortable. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We felt other than a fancy ambience their massages outperformed those we have had at designer spas at twice the price. Thank you for helping us find an affordable and relaxing way to end our busy vacation in Boston!
Victoria Gawlik: Lily was wonderful!!! I was in a lot of pain, and she made it pretty much disappear. I highly recommend her. She is intuitive, knowledgable, and very pleasant. I will be coming back.
Nicole Niss: I've gotten massages from Didi, Liliana, and Lily and you seriously cannot go wrong with these three wonderful women. They're all amazing and I'm going to seriously miss these massages when I move from the area!
Katerine Montero: Best mother day gift
Gerson Reyes: Good experience
jorge Soto: Positive:Quality
motomarkus: Diana is fantastic, very personable and reasonably priced.
J3M3R MK: Great place in East Boston for a massage. Clean, smells really good. Tranquil, perfect relaxing music. The best of all you walk out of there feeling great. Very Profesional.
Christine Pizzo: One of the absolute best massages I've ever gotten. Didi is so courteous and knows many different techniques, and does exactly what is right for you. I continue to go on a monthly basis.
Liliana Vanegas: Gracias Didi, me encantan tus masajes y tú calidez. Dios te bendiga.
D M: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityA true professional whom has perfected her craft! I highly recommend her , you will leave feeling rejuvenated. Well worth every cent!
Nereida Restrepo: Positive:Professionalism
Kelley Best: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have gotten many massages in my life, but as long as Didi is open, I won’t waste my time or $ on any other therapist! She is a small lady, but she is very strong & while going deep, she stretches out your muscles so they won’t tense up once you leave her. Best $ I’ve ever spent & I will be seeing her again soon 😊
Jacob J: Great deep tissue massage!
Anthony Ospina: Absolutely love this place! Didi is amazing at her craft very professional. Rates are amazing will definitely be back !
Cindy Madden: Great massage, lovely therapist.

Back Health Care: what do users think?
Patrick M: Gigi helped get me back on my feet (literally) after the marathon. Great location and premises, firm hands, a great fully body recovery massage.
Rinkle Agarwal: I had a wonderful experience with Gigi. It was an hour long massage and she focused on my back as I had requested her to. She was very nice and it was a great experience overall.
Emily R: Extremely impressed and forever grateful for Gigi's excellent massage and overall service. It was a one hour long massage that was focused primarily on my back but she did my entire body. Before we begin she asked for my concerns and where I wanted her to focus.Gigi made sure to not give me a minute less than what I paid for even though I came in a few minutes late which I really appreciated. She used a light oil for the massage and then hot towels to wipe it off at the end. She also used warm pads to keep me cozy while she was massaging other areas.Gigi is friendly and kind, as well as knowledgeable and experienced-- she really knows what she is doing. I love that she stretched me out and bent my arms and legs in the right positions. Her massage is a great combination of firm but careful.I appreciate she is not like other masseuses that only gently knead and not really make a difference or those who only use their forearms and elbows making it painful. Her technique was perfect. This is by far the best massage I've ever received. I will make sure I get a massage by Gigi every month from now on. After just one session, I can move my head and neck more easily and I also realized just how much I needed this. She really cares and is a strong masseuse. For those new to getting a massage, I highly recommend Back Health Care Center. The price is very reasonable especially in comparison to the other places in the area. For reference I was an athlete all my life I go to the gym regularly and I work a desk job for over eight hours a day so I have a high standard and I was very pleased
Taurean Arroyo: Gigi was unexpectedly wonderful. I say unexpectedly because I wasn't sure if she'd be able to help my back pain incurred from working out. It was healing over the last 2 and half weeks but slight pain was nagging me. I'm writing this 2 days after my massage to say she definitely helped the healing process. She asked what the issues I had were and worked on them out with precision. She also let me know where I had tightness so I'll know where to add stretching before my workouts. When I go back to Boston, I'll be going back to her.
Paul Matteis: Gigi is excellent - very knowledgeable and would recommend to anyone looking for help with an injury
Connor Colson: Straightforward and high quality.
Royce Abel: Had an amazing message! Relaxed my hips and legs enough to release the tension in my lower back. This was one of my better more complete messages I’ve had. Walked out way better than I came in.Easily booked from google made the process simple. I’ll be back!
Rocio Herrera Ortiz: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityShe is a very nice, kind and professional person.
Michael Maffeo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGigi was awesome. Session started right on time. She listened to all my problem areas and with skill addressed them. She even found stuff I didn’t tell her about. Very relaxing. Will not go to anyplace else.
noah miree: Before I saw Gigi I was unable to turn my head to the right due to neck and shoulder pain. After describing to her the issues I was experiencing, Gigi was able to tailor the massage to suit my needs. Immediately after the massage I felt relief in my neck, and I was able to look right. A week later and I am still feeling great.I highly recommend Gigi and Back Health Care, and I will be back soon!
Sarah Kritikos: Gigi is amazing! I exercise 5-6 times a week, and work at a desk job. The combination of the two has resulted in persistent back pain for years. I finally made an appointment and I can’t wait to go back. Gigi recommended the sports massage after explaining my pain to her. I was a little nervous thinking it would hurt but she has such gentle hands and applies the perfect amount of pressure to relieve the pain. My back has never felt so good. Highly recommend!
Ariella Esterkin: I had my first massage with Gigi last week. Wow- what an experience! As a young person who has had spinal surgery, I am very careful about who I entrust with relieving my back pain. I carry an extreme amount of tension and neuropathic pain throughout my body. Gigi was not afraid to "get in there" with strong pressure and really paid attention to every possible stretch and muscle relief opportunity.I can't wait for my next appointment with Gigi. She really knows what she is doing, and you will feel better after your very first meeting with her. I'm excited to make this a regular investment in my well-being.
Natalie Pan: Had Gigi as my massage therapist. She was kind enough to do some sports massage on me even though I had booked a deep tissue. My fiancé had Kevin, liked him so much booked another session for this week
Brandon Hsieh: I finished up an internship in the Boston area and wanted to treat myself to a massage. I exercise a lot and worked at a desk job. The massage was great. I can really feel LESS tension in my muscles. The was my first time getting a sports massage, I'll be returning if I find myself back in Boston.
Mark Wunderlich: These massage therapists are awesome! My wife and I went and we both felt great afterwards - worth every penny! Thank YOU!
Maria Agustina Martinez: Thank you!!!
Lissa McBurney: Trust Gigi!! I struggled with back pain on and off for 4 years after an injury, lots of physical therapy, etc. Since she has been giving me periodic massages over the past 6 months my back has been largely without pain. Her deep tissue work can be uncomfortable but as she says "trust me." She takes a alot of pride in her work.
Cory Hoffbuhr: This woman is ah-mazing. I really don’t like massages but since I was flying out same day after running Boston Marathon, I booked her last minute. I’m not kidding, best massage I’ve ever had. The kind that makes you cry a little, but oh so good. If I lived here, I’d see her on the regular.
Saiyidah Aisyah: I’m a full-time athlete and I have been to plenty of sports massage sessions. Looking for a good and affordable one in Boston was a real challenge since I moved here that it made me avoid sports massage altogether because of how I can’t find a therapist who helps me sort my problems. I only had one session with Gigi and that was because I was preparing for a half marathon but my legs were feeling heavy and desperately needed a massage. I found Gigi, found her clinic easily in the city and had one of the best massages in my life. She asked which area I wanted to focus on which were my legs but she did my whole body, which I was grateful for because the overall lightness I felt when I left her clinic was amazing. She did mention that I would be sore the next day, which I was, but I felt very ready for the half marathon in the next 3 days. Exactly what I needed. Also, one of the most affordable sessions in the area.
Carl Indriago: I called Gigi on a cold, rainy Saturday at the last minute for a foot massage. She was really accommodating on the phone and had availability. Later, I spent about 5 minutes trying to find the place has mother nature reminded me "winter is coming." Gigi tried to explain over the phone where the entrance was but because of the language barrier, it proved to be more difficult. Here's how to get to her office, if you're on Washington St facing Dunkin's walk under the sign "PI ALLEY," until you reach an alley then turn right then you'll be on Court Square, walk less than a minute and see a gold sign on your right, #15. That's her building. Back to Gigi, cute lil office, she's sweet. She asked me what I wanted special attention on so I mentioned my feet again during this almost one hour massage, she gave my lefty & righty phalanges like 5 minutes of attention. The overall massage was honestly okay, $90/HR....I suppose wasn't the worst but not the best.
Meryem Zghari: Gigi is so nice and professional, I really felt good after the massage she offered to me.
