Boston Oral and Facial Surgery: what do users think?
Brittney Andrews: Dr. Chan is hands down the absolute best! I wish I could give him a 10 out of 5! I went to get my wisdom teeth removed from him 3 weeks ago and I could not of asked for a better experience!!! I live in LA and I could of got my wisdom teeth removed by anyone but I flew all the way from LA just to have him remove all four of my wisdom teeth! The reason I flew to him was because I didn’t want to just go to any oral surgeon I wanted to go to the best… I’m originally from Boston so I often travel back and forth and I went to multiple oral surgeons when I found out I needed my teeth removed. Dr. Chan was the most transparent and genuine surgeon I met! He’s not looking to just take your money or to tell you to do unnecessary procedures like other oral surgeons I’ve experienced. He genuinely wants the best for his patients and is honest! He is extremely professional, his facility is clean, his work is phenomenal and he is quick! He knows what he is talking about, and is an expert at oral surgery! After having all 4 Wisdom teeth removed by him, I had no complications. Before surgery, I was so afraid because I am in my late 20s, but the entire experience was so quick and easy. I barely had any swelling at all!!! My face looked normal after surgery! I didn’t even need heavy painkillers either! And I have a VERY LOW tolerance for pain! I only used ibuprofen. And I was able to get back to my life so quickly! I’m so thankful that I got to have him work on me and I couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you so much Dr. Chan!!! I recommend everyone to go to him for anything dental related because he truly knows his stuff and you’ll get the best results!
Cody Sain: The team here provides exceptional care and are very responsive. I do wish the bedside manner of the Oral Surgeon was a bit more engaging and less dismissive, but overall, I had a great experience and was well taken care of. Would recommend to my friends and colleagues.
Joanna Li: I highly recommend Dr. Chan and his staff. They were prompt, courteous, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. The scheduling for my consult was quick and easy. As soon as I arrived, I was able to see a nurse and Dr.Chan I don‘t have to wait and everything, from payment, paperwork was handled quickly by his office. If you’re in search of a talented surgeon with a great supporting cast, look no further. Thanks again!
Trace Y: Very professional. They did a good job.
Justin Nguyen: Staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Dr. chance was very thorough.
Lin Lin: Nice work in removing my 4 wisdom teeth. It only take about an hour and a half for the entire process. Definitely recommend this place.
Aaliyah: Procedure went so quickly. I’m currently recovering and feeling better than I expected! Thank you!
Tiara Ray: I didn't want to write this review, but I don't feel good about my last experience with this place.I had my wisdom teeth pulled here, and they did a great job so I wanted to use them again for some impacted teeth that I have. Dr. Chan and I discussed ny options 2 years ago, and I went back to see him as the pain and discomfort has gotten worse. I left my appointment really dissapointed and felt as if I wasn't being heard. I KNOW I need surgery, I know all of the complications that can happened. However, this situation is getting worse. I felt as if he was more interested in telling me constantly how he doesn't want to be sued for anything bad that will happened. I understand needing people to understand the complications of surgery, but he hardly said anything to me besides "your going to lose teeth". The hygienist asked more questions than he did, and seem to care more about how I'm being affected by the discomfort. Then he had an unnecessary cat scan done that apperently I "didn't need to stick around for" which makes no sense. Why are you forcing me to stay to take scans then if I'm not needed? Then wanted to tell me "well im not charging you for it" um thanks?! I'm not happy about my recent experience however, they did do a great job with my wisdom teeth so, go to this place or don't, but I think I would rather find someone else. Just know he does do good work.
DuhItzArii A: got my wisdom teeth removed (6) and im on day 4 i still havent had any mouth pain and they did it quickly! an hour tops!
Erwin Fuentes: I went for a wisdom tooth extraction. The doctor was very knowledgeable and answered my detailed questions well prior to the surgery during the consultation. Staff was very kind too. Day of operation they put you to sleep before taking out your wisdom tooth by giving you anesthesia through an IV and give you oxygen through the nose. Didn’t wake up and can’t really remember leaving! It felt quick!
Ashley Sheehan: I had a great experience at Boston Oral Surgery and everyone was very nice! I only had one wisdom tooth, but I had a considerable risk of permanent nerve damage due to the location of the tooth. The doctor made sure I was aware of my options and was very clear about the whole situation. Thankfully, I have no nerve damage at all and I’m very glad I was a patient here!
Renee Anderson: Great service, calm relaxed atmosphere. Very good patient care. However could do better on finding better affordable parking for patients $53.00 I paid ouch that hurt for a retired senior citizen😪. I would go back if parking is cheaper, but I would recommend them.
vy huynh: Staffs are nice and friendly. Dr Chan’s skill is excellent.
ava Cabana: Very easy experience, the nurses were really nice and sweet, little uncomfortable now for obvious reasons but overall would recommend.
Karen Finnegan: My son (freshman/first time away from home) at school and needed extraction of wisdom tooth. I called from NJ to try to get him some relief. I was so fortunate that Mandy listened to my concerns and immediately scheduled him for the procedure. As you can imagine- being a Mom 300 miles away, I was very stressed out about what my son was dealing with. Mandy called me numerous times throughout the process and kept me up to date. She kind of kept an eye on him as if she was his Mother. Thanks to her and her whole staff. I can not say enough about this group. AMAZING!!!
Sharyl Washington: Very pleased. The staff was extremely gentle and caring. The surgeon was patient and kind. He made certain that all of our concerns were carefully met and thoroughly explained to us. I would definitely go back if needed.
Victoria Servare: Dr. Chan and his staff are amazing! I had 4 teeth extracted and he did a great job answering all of my questions and making me comfortable in the process. Highly recommend Boston Oral and Facial Surgery!
Ayane Horinouchi: I had a wisdom teeth removal here. Dr.Chan did a great job. I didn't have any uncomfortable moments under general anesthesia. When I woke up, everything was done. Even after the surgery, I didn’t get swollen at all. I recovered very quickly and everyone was surprised. I definitely recommend Boston Oral & Facial Surgery for your wisdom teeth removal.
Terrell Rankin: Everything was cool and felt comfortable and the team is amazing
Savannah Mitchell: I just want to say I have severe anxiety when it comes to anything medical, like SEVERE. My anxiety has caused me to refuse medical care for years. I went to multiple places for this surgery and never felt comfortable until I came here. Dr.Chan and his incredible nurse (wishing I got her name because there are no words to describe her patience and empathy for me today) took extremely good care of not only my teeth but my mental health as well. I am incredibly grateful for their services today and I will absolutely be recommending and returning off I need any more dental work done! If you’re considering them please do it!!
Ashley Munguia: I came here to have my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was 100% professional and kind.

Lucca Oral & Facial Surgery: what do users think?
billy rosado: Everyone is nice and professional and are always trying to help I recommend this place 100%
Peter Buccieri: My experience with Dr. Lucas’s office was a 10 plus. The ladies at the front desk I believe her name is Vanessa. They made me feel so comfortable. Very caring & helpful throughout my consult & during my actual procedure. Dr. Lucca’s assistant Pahriss is outstanding. She walked me through each procedure. She’s very knowledgeable& caring. She & Dr. Lucca have great bedside manners. Dr. Lucca is the best around oral surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Lucca & his wonderful staff.
arielle smith: Dr. Lucca and his staff are wonderful! From the the moment I stepped in the door I was greeted by the front office staff and made to feel welcome. At my initial consult Dr. Lucca informed me of all of my options. I was then given the pros and cons of each of them. We decided together on a treatment plan that I felt comfortable with.On the day of my first surgery I was immediately brought into a patient room and was made to feel at ease. His staff answered any last minute questions I had and asked me if I needed anything before the procedure. During the procedure Dr. Lucca told me everything that he was going to do before he did it. This made me feel at ease as I knew exactly what to expect.I will go back in just over three months for another procedure but I know I will be in good hands. Nobody wants to have surgery but if you have to I recommend Dr. Lucca and his staff.
Pete J: Above and beyond experience from time you walk in. The women at the front desk make you feel at ease from the minute you walk in. Paris and the nurses are top notch. Dr Lucca make you feel at ease before the procedure by letting you know what to expect. Would highly recommend.
Brett Crites: Love this place
Noel Li: I had severe pain on my wisdom tooth for two weeks and the root canal specialist was not able to help. I called two oral surgeons and they could not help schedule a tooth extraction for another two weeks. Finally I called Dr. Lucca, he saw me on the same day and I had my tooth extraction the day after. The whole procedure only took 15 minutes with no pain at all or swelling. After 36 hours I was already pain free. I didn't need to take any pain killers before, and after I only took antibotics. Dr. Lucca's team even called me the next day to follow up and answer my questions. I am so happy with the result and really appreciate the amazing work Dr. Lucca performed. He is calm, caring and expained all the details to make me feel comfortable. I am able to eat normally again after 3 days. Thank you so much Dr. Lucca!
Hailey Cortina: Dr. Lucca and the team are great!
j cortina: Mario is great! After he took my X Rays, explained to me what was going on & also visually showed me on the X Rays. So helpful! You can tell he cares about his patients and makes sure they are receiving the best care. Definitely recommend Mario!
Jason Moore: Very professional everything done on a timely manner. Felt very comfortable from beginning to end.
Joe Horowitz: Nobody better than Mario and crew. Superior staff, and most importantly, makes it as painless as possible!

Kelly Hayes: First class in all aspects of care and professionalism. And equally important, nice!!!

Thomas Cantone: Top notch staff and equipment, one of the best in Boston
Paige Mastro: The entire team at Lucca Oral & Facial Surgery are courteous and professional. They go out of their way to provide a comforting experience for their patients. The office is beautifully designed and I would highly recommend Dr. Lucca!
Ryan Denham: The best oral surgeon in town without question!
Connor Marsden: Clean, Professional and great surgery! Great experience and worth considering!
Peter Phillips: I had a great experience with Dr. Lucca. Great service and friendly staff.
judith ashton: Dr. Lucca extracted a molar for me. From beginning to end, it was a nightmare. He worked on the tooth for 75 minutes. I was in excruciating pain, raised my hand, and he completely ignored me for about 10 minutes before he gave me additional anesthesia. He and his assistant also didn’t pay attention to pieces of the tooth that should have been vacuumed away from the inside of my mouth, I swallowed a piece, and choked on it. After a harrowing experience, I was in tears. I asked him what went wrong. He said “nothing,” and walked away. He didn’t even check to make sure he got all of the pieces out. He failed to extract two pieces of the tooth and damaged my jaw bone in the excruciating process. I had to go elsewhere to have the jawbone repaired and the pieces removed. Dr. Lucca did an awful job in every possible way.
Jacob Karippaparampil: Awesome and easy experience. Would highly recommend.
Renee Booth: I am a Registered Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts and have held a license in Dentistry for 27 years. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Lucca. Without hesitation I would recommend him to anyone needing an Oral Surgeon. Aside of his brilliance and clinical skills, Dr. Lucca is a kind and caring person!Renee Synnott Booth RDH

ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY ASSOCIATES: what do users think?
joanne andrews: Welcoming office staff. Dr. Nissenbaum was gentle and calming. And he’s really good at pulling teeth!
Robert Distel: Very respectful and efficient office. My doctor was very good. Nurses and admin very friendly. My procedure went quickly with no complications.
Damini Singh (Mini): Got 4 of my wisdom tooth extracted here, and everything went really smooth. Great follow-up experience, post-surgery advise etc. excellent bedside manners. Would highly recommend Dr. Paul Kalish from this practice!
Tchica Butpatch: I gotta say I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Front desk is awesome very friendly, and helpful in any way they can be welcomed me with open arms as I was very nervous for my visit. I had a excellent experience with the oral surgeon as well he was very comforting understanding my needs and making feel at ease and understanding In great detail on what I’m about to get into for surgery. Overall I would recommend this place super professional, efficient, helpful and a great staff from front to back. Thank you guys for an awesome experience.
Larisa's World: Wonderful office great experience! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Mark Dionne: Our dentist referred us to this practice when my wife had painful sores in her mouth. When we called, after a bit of runaround, the assistant said that the doctor said "go to the Brighams" and would not provide any additional help, or even who to call at Brigham hospital.
Dan Danz: Awful. Didn't even treat me like a human being and charged me 150$ to tell me how to leave his office.
adrian bradley: Nice Doctor!Extremely rude and unprofessional office staff. As I was waiting nervously for my wife to have this procedure, I was treated to the conversation of the ladies at the front desk bad mouthing the people calling in.Their tone was rude and condescending and they said things like " all these people are ridiculous" "she's a nervous old lady and it's always like this" "I just told her that, why is she still talking to me"It was very unprofessional and led to an uncomfortable and nerve-racking experience.

Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery: what do users think?
brian: wasted my time and money …student knows more than the attending DR...left me to suffer. You can do better
Cordelia Muir: Asked them to send a referral to a new OMFS over 6 months ago. They still haven’t sent it.
Ingrid Elezi: One of the worst patient service ever. The coordinators and the office staff is just horrible. I don't really know what is worst- my TMJ pain or the pain I have to go through every week to call the office...Numerous calls about following up on my surgery and still in severe pain. No call back, no follow up no nothing. Does anyone know where to complain about the most unprofessional and unethical patient care service? Seriously MGH??
Stanzerl & Flip: The staff, no matter if on the phone or in person, is rude, non-caring and comes across as plain lazy. This review is only about my last encounter, don’t even get me started on my previous ones. My insurance doesn’t request a referral, so I called to make an appointment, explained specifically what the issues are, and they sleepingly told me that they need a clinical referral. Now I need to wait until I have my appointment with my provider at Mass Eye and Ear, which is weeks out and then have to wait again for weeks until I can see them. This creates unnecessary costs for me and my insurance. A little more positive work spirit and attitude wouldn’t harm this office personelle!
Devon: Very predatory billing practices. Despite having them as a Tier 1 in-network provider (quite literally have MGH logo on my insurance card), they refuse billing ALL insurances for work-up visits. These visits are $1500 CASH each to be paid at the time of the appointment. Absolutely go elsewhere that doesn't hold such horrible billing practices. You'd think the wealthiest hospital system in the US would not need an extra couple hundred vs what insurance companies would negotiate. No matter your insurance company, you will be billed as if you do not have insurance at all here.
Kerri Coady: If I could give them a 0 I would.Took my mother to the Mass General in Danvers and was referred to Boston for an exteaction the next morning. When we got there they said we dont do same day surgeries and wanted us to schedule the extraction for November! A broken tooth, a lot of pain but wait 4 months to take it out while it gets infected and who knows what else. My mother is 73 years old with muscular dystrophy, in a wheel chair and with heart condition and they made us go into Boston so they could schedule an appointment 4 months later. It could of been done on the phone. A exam and xrays were all done the night before in Danvers. They didnt even look at her. When I complained the arrogant Dr said he has "nothing to do with it and thats they way it is."
Sydney Carter: My review is of Dr. McCain and has no weight on the facility itself. I saw Dr. McCain at his previous practice. I went to see Dr. Mccain for tmj issues. He decided to remove my wisdom teeth approximately 4 years ago. Everything was fine until I went to an orthodontist for the same issue. I was then informed that he did not take all 4 of my wisdom teeth, but he actually left one and instead took out a molar. He didn’t mention this at all so I can only assume it was a mistake. I am appalled that someone who had so much experience could be this negligent.
CORNGANG CDXX: Drove up from RI for wisdom tooth extraction. Downpour’s on the drive in and a 4 car accident on 93 south made the drive go from an hour and a half to nearly 3 hours. I knew i would be late for the arrival time of 830am so i started calling the office right at the tome they open. 8am. I stayed on hold for 30+ minutes and had to call back multiple times. Told them the situation i was in and they said just be here for 9. How do i do that just make the traffic disappear? Needless to say i show up 10min after 9 and they still took me in thankfully. Almost was denied in the dental office because “the doctor is a very strict guy” as quoted by the front desk of room 230 on the 2nd floor of the wang building. Cherry on top was they could find my vein and i stead of going for a hand vein they stabbed my right arm missing the vein entirely. Nurse seemed to not notice as the needle slowly almost slid out of my arm tugging on my skin. 10 min later another nurse comes in and finds it on my other arm after covering me with multiple heated blankets. Other than that procedure went well. I believe this hospital could have great people but they severely lack coordination and communication skills. Thus was also my first surgery i have had in my life and lets say it did not set a good tone for the next time i may need one god forbid. Also the patient should be asked if they want to have an opioid pain relief method. I was prescribed an opioid for pain and i am highly against using those due to the addictive properties they have. And one more thing they also sent all of my meds to weymouth mass when i specifically told them right before the procedure that that was wrong and i have never lived in that area. I haven’t even been a resident of mass before. I told them exactly where to switch it to but it ended up in weymouth anyway. Couple hours longer to get it all transferred. Glad this is over I hope I never have to return here again.
Allison L: medical staff was great, office staff was very poor. they mis-scheduled my appointment so that i came at the wrong time and then told me i missed my slot and they couldnt take me. my roomie took off work, i took off work and bought groceries for a wisdom teeth extraction and then had to reschedule for a month later. communication and organization is very poor.
Kelly Dumont: I have to give them 5 stars! I saw all these one star reviews and was shocked! Most of their satisfied patients probably don't think to leave a review, they're just happy to have their lives back. My only complaint is the very long wait times before appointments, but I would imagine that's how it goes in a major hospital. Dr. McCain is professional and extremely knowledgeable. He performed a double arthroscopy (essentially cleaned out both of my jaw joints) and sutured my left disc. You would never know I had a surgery based on the incisions. Before the surgery I could only eat things like yogurt, applesauce, soft fish, etc., but 9 months after this surgery I was eating everything I wanted to! I still cut my burgers in half to eat them (it still gets a little sore if I open too wide) and things like that, but I can have the food I want. During the surgery I received the best care I have ever had for a surgery (I've had my fair share of them). The nurses and other staff were warm, reassuring, extremely efficient, and while everyone was bustling about there was still a sense of calm. It's a well oiled machine. I am extremely happy with my experience here and highly recommend them.
Taylor: I cannot say enough good things about MGH Department of Oral Surgery. I initially went to the ER due to a rare and very painful complication with my wisdom teeth that my original oral surgeon from a different practice wasn’t able to handle. MGH Oral Surgery took care of me right away. My surgeon Dr. Charline Cervellera did an incredible job, and my emergency procedure was painless. She was very comforting and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. She also provided me with excellent follow up care, and the Chief of Surgery also took the time to check on me. I truly do not know what I would have done without her or the great staff at MGH. If I ever have another problem, this would be the only place I would get care. Thank you so much to Dr. Charline Cervellera and the Department of Oral Surgery for taking such good care of me. I highly recommend this office to anyone that needs oral surgery.
William Mears: Edit: I had originally one starred this place because of a bad experience over the phone, but after going in for a workup I felt the need to change it. I arrived, and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and kind. I then went through mostof my workup with Christine (blonde lady, might have been a different name) and she was extremly nice and fun to talk to. The rest of my workup was finished by a resident, who's last name was Williams. The resident was happy, professional, and very fun to talk to. From my original experience over the phone, it took a lot for me to change this review, but the entire staff that I worked with made my day.
ashley Figueroa: This office cant get their billing straight uts been 4 months now sense I got my surgery and they made me pay prior to getting my surgery now they keep sending me statements saying I owe 3k. Everytime I call billing and dispute it they say the person in the office who submitted my claim to insurance never added my member ID or some other type of info. Im getting really irritated with this office. And I will be filing a complaint!
Angela N. Cruz: If I had to choose between going here again and my TMJ flare ups, I choose the latter. At least these are consistent.
Mary K O'Brien: I am in the middle of having the same experiences listed here. Referrals weren't sent by the attending dentist, etc. Shall we call/write to the Board of Directors? etc What is the recourse for complaints?
Deborah Bechtel: My experience was awful. After having sinus surgery seven years ago by Dr. Dodsen, who left soon after, I was happy with my experience. Fast forward to a runaround on the surgical area acting up I finally made an appointment with them that took three months to get. The appointment was last July. I was treated with arrogance and no compassion for my situation. I was not able to express all concerns and symptoms. A scan I brought that didn't show a specific cause was looked at and then when the dentist came in he said "this will be easy, it's not dental". I tried to express my concerns but was basically shut down on most of it. He then tells me to get a new denture. I now have an obvious hole at the surgical point with exposed bone and possibly nerves as well. I am miserable and due to this man I am now more afraid to connect with anyone up there. I saw an ENT at Mass Eye and Ear last fall due to this affecting the sinus and assuming there is a problem there. An MRI showed no reason and i was told it could be dental. I almost dropped dead after hearing that. I am in limbo now and don't trust healthcare much at all right now. Shame on him for not taking xrays, listening to all my symptoms and ignoring what I did tell him to blame it on a denture. He has been detrimental to my mental health as well as my physical health and I am now completely afraid of dentists. Good job Dr. Tannyhill for ignoring me and making things worse.
James Shaffer: The doctors are amazing but the office staff!! No one returned your call for appointments, the coordinators never do their job on time, and the coordinators never called back even after leaving numerous messages. The coordinators voicemails are never updated, seriously need an overhaul in that department. My suggestion would be to overhaul the coordination department.
Emily Schmidt: I have been a candidate for TJR since 2007 due to genetics and corrective surgery in my 20’s with braces, my condyles are gone and both discs dislocated. My journey began in Alaska with a TMJ PT specialist, oral surgeon and later a number of oral surgeons in Chicago and one world renown in Boston. They treated me conservatively with prescription medications, Botox, PT. Eventually, these methods stopped working and the pain increases tremendously. Chronic pain. Enter Dr McCain... In feb 20019, Dr McCain performed Arthoscopic Discopexy. He reattached my discs, stretched out my passage way (genetically likely otherwise to dislocate again. My pain has improved 90%!! I had to do my part to follow his guidelines, at home PT, and limited diet/mobility for 6 months. What headaches I do get now respond to Tylenol and ibuprofen. In all my years battling with TMJD I have never had any oral surgeon even mention this procedure let alone offer it to me. And Dr McCain helped pioneer this Arthoscopy. He is a unicorn! I’ve had many many apts where I have waited a few hours just to see him and it’s worth every second! My discs may someday dislocate again, I don’t know the future, but I’m filled with gratitude for every day that is pain free. He has a tremendous bed side manner, caring way about him. I would send anyone in my family to him with absolute confidence that he will do everything he can to help them. And please, don’t let anyone work on your jaw until you get an MRI.
Baran: You can stay on hold for hours! No one is there to answer your call. This is MGH???

Neponset Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates: what do users think?
Meg Meg: lawrence herman is a greedy human being. He was going to do an implant for me, totally cost was $8000 for the one tooth. He pulled the bad tooth out and charged me $845 for the bone graft. I went to Harvard school of dental on Longwood Ave and they're charged me $7000 for two implants and the bone graft at Harvard is $112. Save your money go to a school of dental like Tufts, BU or Harvard school of dental, your will save thousands of dollars. I will fight him to get my $845 back so unfair. herman, I hope there is a heaven and hell, because u will be burning in money.
L G: I recently went for a consult and with my anxiety and fears of a dentist, I wasn’t sure but this place made me extremely comfortable. Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover the cost needed for oral surgery but if I had the money, I would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone from the reception to the assistant and surgeon were amazing. I definitely was impressed and will certainly recommend them to anyone I know.
Devon Berardinelli: Quick and painless. Been for several extractions with Dr Herman, super nice guy and 10/10 experience with every procedure. Thank you!
Stone Hu: AVOID THIS PLACE, SAVE YOUR MONEY!A simple consulting for wisdom teeth extraction will cost you $200. (x-ray was taken by my dentist not them, everything they provide is an old chair, cup of rinse and 5 mins chat.) which is non sense compare to others.Even worse. When make this appointment over the phone. I provided a health plan name and they acceptted that. So I chose that medical plan and wait for a month for plan activation. Yes, I even changed my health plan because they said my previous not work with them. After the consulting, they said "we are not in network of your plan" and threat me "if you do not pay, it will go to collection!"When I try to clear this medical plane issue with them. Beacuse they said over the phone, this plan is in network with them. Than I opt in the plan. They even said "we can not specify which plan is in network with us by plan name. You have to provide your medical card id." What a joke! When I check with other dental associate with the plan name. They quickly response with in network or not without any medical id information.Based above experience. You may have a decision that how this associate work with their patient.Good luck for anyone who have or will have an appointment with them.
Anoop Joy: I had 4 wisdom teeth extraction today. Dr. Sara is super skillful and all the staffs are very very friendly.
Jonathan Staley: Unprofessional and not friendly

Sara Moa: I had an amazing experience. I did all my four wisdom teeth with dr. Parisa Shokri. The procedure went very smooth and I healed quickly.
Ariel Shapiro: Got 3 wisdom teeth removed! Slept for 4 hours, woke up with barely any swelling or pain! Good experience, as far as surgery can go
Taylor: Horrendous experience. Not only was I awake for my wisdom teeth removal after I made it explicit I wanted to be a sleep, I developed a serious infection due to a surgical mistake. I spent weeks going to appointments as my face grew to the size of a bowling ball telling the dentists something was not right. Despite the obvious severe swelling and pain, I was continuously sent home with no solution. I ended up going to the emergency room after several appointments of being told to give it time because the pain was so unbearable and I could not open my mouth. At the ER, I was told the infection was a result of an incorrect surgical cut and that the infection should have never been allowed to get so out of control. It was a costly and life threatening experience. To top it off, the doctor who originally did the surgery never saw me again after and handed me off to a different person clearly avoiding the situation. The staff made obvious faces and eye rolls when I came in for pain. Months later I am dealing with nerve pain and complications because of the poor care that I received. It went worse than I ever could have imagined and I would not recommend this practice. I find the positive reviews suspicious.
Mike Nahmias: Dr Amini and the rest of the staff were great
Gail Randall: I have had 8 teeth pulled in the past 6 weeks in preparation for dentures. I will not go anywhere else. From the front desk to the oral surgeons, the entire staff is warm, welcoming, patient, understanding, compassionate, and caring. I don't normally write reviews, but this one is justified and appropriate.
Thomas Wilson: Incredibly impressed with Dr. Amini and her staff. I was very nervous about my first tooth extraction and everyone here went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Amini consistently checked in on my pain during the procedure and throughly explained what was going on. Highest recommendation for this office.
Clemens Teufel: Got all four wisdom teeth extracted yesterday by Dr. Amini and her team.Today I woke up without any pain and after a great night sleep. I really did not expect that!I did it with only local anesthesia and they did amazing work. Two teeth were impacted so it was not an easy job, but I can’t emphasize more about how fantastic they are. Everyone there is very friendly as well and so overall a great experience. Thank you!
adam bass: Very nice helpful staff
Ryan Phelan: Had all 4 wisdom teeth out yesterday morning and man were these folks fantastic! From Angie at the front desk answering of all of my ridiculous questions and insurance concerns to Katie and Nashley making me feel very comfortable and relaxed up until the procedure and then of course a huge hats off to Dr. Amini-Salari for getting all 4 of those useless teeth fully extracted out of my mouth and my life. This group was beyond professional, informative and most importantly...did make NOT rush the process/procedure in ANY way. They all took time to make sure I had properly fasted, had adequate transportation home (I was administered IV anesthesia), made me understand what they were going to do before they did it and I was even contacted later that evening by Katie to see how I was doing! 5 stars all around, would recommend to anyone concerned about getting heavy dental work done.
Rachel L: I had all four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Hadidy, and he did a great job! Mine were impacted and had been causing me issues for years. After surgery, I was back to eating normally after just about a week. I also had a higher risk of having the nerve in my jaw affected, but luckily Dr. Hadidy was able to avoid it.The entire staff was great as well! The assistants and the front desk people were so friendly and helpful. And the price was fair too. I thought that going to a reputable place with my mediocre dental insurance would cost between $500-$1000, but it came out to just over $300.I would definitely recommend going to this practice for all wisdom teeth needs.
Meridith Liddell: This was the best extraction experience that I can remember. I had a local anesthetic for my upper right wisdom tooth. Dr. Amini was a whiz — so skilled and quick! She answered all my questions with just enough explanation, made adjustments to the anesthesia quickly and effectively, and had the inch-long tooth out in less than 30 minutes!
Jamie Higgins: Very nice people and Dr haddidy is awsoawe!! Im a big baby when it comes to my teeth but he treats me with care😁
Emma Choi: I got all my four wisdom teeth extracted today at 1:30pm. I don't have any swelling and pain AT ALL so far. I am very impressed how skilled and caring Dr. Hadidy is. He is SO good at what he does. No questions asked. If your tooth needs to be extracted, please don't hesitate to see him. And the staff, Angie, is also patient, caring, willing to help you with anything.A quick note - my first consultation visit took a little bit little longer than expected (about 1 hour wait) because they make sure to provide very detailed informed consent and risks involved with the procedure. I really appreciated the time they took to go over everything.
David Truong: I came here based on Yelp/google reviews and I regret coming here. I've been meaning leave a review for my wisdom teeth extraction which I had a couple of years ago. Although the DR is friendly and caring, he damaged my nerve while removing my teeth and my face is one still numb after 3+ years. I've been waiting for it to heal but no such luck. He did mention paresthesia (nerve damage) is a possibility around 3% so that chance of it happening was small. I wasn't expecting to happen to me. So I lost feelings to some parts near my lip b/c of his work. Be warned and stay away.
Michelle Savuto: I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hadidy yesterday. He is an expert oral surgeon and his office staff are very professional. I have had minimal pain or discomfort post-surgery despite some complicated removals he had to perform. Dr. Hadidy and the office staff are very responsive to patient concerns and provide multiple opportunities to ask questions. I highly recommend this practice.
Xoland Green: I have had two procedures by both surgeons, and I wish that they could be my every day dentists. So professional so welcoming, that when an emergency arrived they saw no right away.
Benjamin Bott: Excellent experience. Excellent surgeon. (Another had tried for half an hour to extract a tooth, but it was too painful. I was referred to Dr. Hadidy. Dr. Hadidy extracted same tooth in 4 minutes, with ZERO pain!) Highly recommend. Also: excellent, warm and knowledgeable staff in front office.
Fatima Perez: Dr. El Hadidy is the most caring oral surgeon, my kids love him and the staff.
Elizabeth McRae: Dr. El Hadidy is the best. He's very kind, friendly and most importantly, he's a superior dentist. I had a very difficult implant placement. My regular dentist wasn't sure it could be placed. Dr. Hadidy's expertise successfully placed the implant. I totally trust him.
Suad Ali: Today I had a terrible experience at your office. My appointment was at 3 pm, but I showed up at 2:40 pm. However, the staff wasted my time and did not even explain to me the process and how long it should take. The doctor came in and said that he would be with me in a minute and soaked me until 4:05. I do not know why they seemed not to care at all. They did not even bother to apologize for the inconvenient or ask me to reschedule my appointment. I saw other patient came after me, got their service and left while I was waiting. I am so disappointed with the poor and unprofessional treatment that I received.
Bryan Perry: If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would.. the staff here are incredible I had 5 teeth pulled including 3 wisdom and two 2nd molars and the procedure was done within 35 minutes. They make you feel like family. Sending you a text later in the evening following up with you to make sure all is well. Super nice people and excellent customer service. No swelling and very little soreness and I’ll I took is ibuprofen.. Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!

Commonwealth Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Associates: what do users think?
Yijing Xiao: Got one wisdom tooth out today. Very nice and professional treatment. I am so glad I choose here! Highly recommended!
Sarah Costello: I had my wisdom teeth removed here. Dr. Feldman was very thorough and transparent about the process. She also accommodated a follow-up appointment when I called about increasing pain. The front desk staff was exceptionally communicative as well. I appreciated the HEPA filters in each room.
Eli Converse: I had two impacted, sideways wisdom teeth removed by Dr. He. The consultation process and the extraction went smoothly, and she has been patient and supportive with my questions and followup visits during my recovery. I have been very happy with the whole experience.Additionally, the admin and medical support staff are also exceptionally friendly and competent. I fully recommend this practice!
Bo: Dr. He Jingyi is awesome!! Highly recommend. She is very nice and patient. It took only half hour to remove my 2 impacted boney wisdom teeth totally. Amazing!!
Greg: just got four teeth removed by Doctor He. Staff was cool and Dr. He is really good
Kimberly Jaggers: Service was prompt. Staff was friendly and professional. Dr Acord is a great oral surgeon
Bin Li: I made an appointment, and I checked in on time, however, I still waited for more than 30min after checking in. No communications so I don't know how long I should wait. Finally I decided to leave but they called me back 50min after checking in while I was driving back to my work. I spent 1hr for driving, paid 2hr street parking but I quit.Everybody at the reception desk kept working as well as having lunch. Do you call it lunch break? Imagine how this clinic treat their clerks. If you can not see so many patients in a day please slow down.
Bella Do: I just had three of my wisdom teeth out on Friday (two upper and one lower right). Dr. Feldman performed the surgery and it went very well. I was sedated so no memory of the surgery itself, but it didn't hurt much afterwards (not as much as I used to be when I had the lower left wisdom tooth out a few months ago at another place). Highly recommend Dr. Feldman and her team for wisdom teeth removal.
Seth K: Went here to have a wisdom tooth pulled a few years ago. They yanked on it and twisted it left and right, jerked my head around until the novacane wore off, gave me more, yanked on it more. After an hour of that, they informed me they were incapable of pulling my tooth and told me to drive to another office several towns over. So I did, and then I waited there about an hour, without novacane, in agony, which clearly annoyed their receptionist, so sorry. Finally I was able to see a dentist who was bemused at why COMSA wasn't competent to pull it and he pulled it within seconds. My dentist just referred me to come here again. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hugh Barry: I would highly recommend. Twice in the last couple of months, Dr Feldman performed extraction of “bad teeth”. Both times, the procedure was quick and painless and Dr. Feldman really explains what to expect. I also found the staff at the front desk very helpful and pleasant.
Chelsea Whitton: So glad I went to Commonwealth Oral. I just had my two lower wisdom teeth out yesterday a.m. and more than 24 hours later, I am in good shape. More importantly, I've never felt more at ease than with Dr. Feldman and her team. I had so much fear going back into this process after having the top teeth removed three years ago elsewhere. They made the process smooth, easy and painless. I am experiencing minimal pain and feel like I was in very good hands with this procedure. They worked with my insurance and were very straight forward. Highly recommend for wisdom teeth extraction.
Yingbo Ma: I asked them to cancel my appointment if they are not in my insurance's network. They said everything is fine, but then after the appointment, they told me that they are not in the network and charged me $125.00 for talking to the doctor for 10 minutes. Don't trust them!
Joshua Souza: Dr. He did an outstanding job on my wisdom teeth and was very comforting throughout the process. I. Had almost no pain or discomfort following my procedure.
Paula Malady: I was referred by my dentist and needed to be sedated, due to panic issues. They made me pay $1200 up front (I have insurance), which I did. They asked me if I wanted some additional work, to which I said yes. They didn't say, "if you do this it will be an extra.$$.." So, with excellent dental insurance, they charged me an an additional $650, after the $1200 and I'm shocked. The dentist was good and nice but the staff at the desk were not. Either way, you should check the cost on everything with them. I don't trust them.
Jordan Flagg: Was in for extraction of 2 wisdom teeth on a Friday. Procedure went well, there was a mixup with the pharmacy location, but Dr He went out of her way to make it right on a weekend as soon as she found out
Meghan Murdock: I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Feldman and she was fantastic, could not recommend more! I was only there for about 45 minutes, including getting set up with my IV, going under anesthesia and then waking up for recovery. Easy and straightforward. So far I have only needed to use Tylenol, nothing stronger. I only had some minor bleeding directly after surgery. Thank you COMSA and Dr. Feldman!
Suj R: I was referred to Dr. He by my dentist's office last month for immediate extraction of 3 of my wisdom teeth and a crown lengthening procedure. The office staff were kind and helpful in scheduling appointments at the earliest. Dr. He was thorough and reassuring in the initial consultation , explaining the procedure and what to expect, clearly. The procedure itself was done so beautifully by Dr. He and her team. She gently put me under anasthesia. I followed all the post-operative care as suggested by her and honestly, I needed no pain medication. Dr. He very kindly also checked in with me after the surgery to find out if I was doing OK. A month down the line, my gums have healed beautifully and I'm so glad and grateful I went to Dr. He for this procedure.
Parina Patel: Dr. He did an amazing job with my wisdom teeth extractions! I was a little nervous at the first visit, but Dr. He was so kind and answered all my questions + discussed everything with me thoroughly. During the actual procedure, Dr. He and her team did a great job of making me feel at ease before going under the general anesthesia, and now 1 day post extractions I feel minimal discomfort and don’t need any pain medication. This office does a great job of being accessible, listening to you, and not being dismissive of your concerns. If I had to do it again I would only go to Dr. He!!
Pietro Grandi: Had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr He, 2 at a time. I had an excellent experience with the surgery. Discomfort has been minimum and I healed pretty quickly both times (1-2 days). Dr He was extremely professional and made feel at ease at each point before, during and after the procedure. Would definitively recommend !
Bridget Galanto: I had three of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Toby Feldman. I arrived around 8:55am, filled out some paperwork, was brought into the room, hooked up to the IV, fell asleep, had the teeth removed, and was walked into the recovery by 9:25am, left by 9:35. Very quick and painless, managed fine with tylenol and ibuprofen. Minimal bleeding, no swelling, all around a great experience. A few years ago I had my first wisdom tooth removed at Tufts dental school and it took many hours, very painful, lots of swelling and bleeding, so the experience at COMSA was completely different. Dr. Feldman was very nice and professional, and explained everything well. I would recommend COMSA to anyone needing teeth extracted!
Polina: Dr. He is the best!
