Jason Marchand: Had a great experience with customer service today. I called NEMB expecting to battle it out over a $900 hospital bill I received in the mail. However, the agent, Debbie, quickly ruined those plans by resolving the issue with my account almost immediately. Before closing the call Debbie offered some words of strength and encouragement. Words which rang true to the situation we are all experiencing within our communities. Thank you Debbie for being both kind and patient and for the reassurances!

Libby Ryerson: The experience here has really gone down over the past few years. I no longer recommend it, due to several negative experiences. They claim 24/7 care, but there are no appointments available on weekends. Their billing department owes me a refund for an incorrectly charged copay, and they gave me the runaround for months before I finally just cancelled. It's shady and unprofessional and honestly feels like a scam. Even if you find a doctor on here that you like, they very frequently leave the practice or move locations, so there was no consistency to who I was able to see each visit. One doctor told me that they "have other patients" and didn't have time to address my concerns that I booked the appointment for.

Spoiler, they don’t!Good luck trying to get into this one medical office without an appointment! Ding Luo: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR MEMBERSHIP! I had such a terrible experience interacting with their customer service team, and their medical team was very unprofessional, even given the high price they charged.1. They messed up my allergy test sample, and asked me to re-do it. Without any help on rescheduling my visit, they just ignored all my messages on the app. I do not even know if cancelling it whether I need to pay for their failure! There is also long waiting time even if you scheduled ahead of time. When I went there last Friday, there was not that many patient waiting. I don't think they have enough staff working in their lab.2. I asked the team if cancelling membership whether i could get refund. Before confirming it with me, they just directly closed my account. Now, I'm unable to see any messages or my report saved in the app, as I lose my access to my account!!! This is ridiculous.By just chatting with the doctor for less than 15-min video call, I was charged more than 400 dollars. It's so ridiculous. They did not answer the call from customers, nor the messages from the app. I have no clue why others will choose this service. For me, I will never use it anymore.

Nassar Farid Mufdi Ruiz: Your team is phenomenal. I had reached out to my HSA company about purchasing medical supplies for my chronic leg and hip pain, and they informed me I needed documentation from my provider as to why they are clinically necessary. I hung up with my HSA company at 4:20pm, and immediately scheduled my visit with Allegra at OneMedical. I was on a Zoom video call with her by 4:30pm. She listened to my concerns and their root causes intently, and offered physical therapy as a treatment. In addition, she provided me with the supporting documentation I needed to justify the purchase of my clinically necessary medical supplies from my HSA. Wish I had done this sooner! Thank you so much, Allegra and One Medical. I love your team’s agility and responsiveness, and I’m glad I’m a One Medical member.
Dave O'Connor: Scam. I'm not sure where the doctors are that people mention in these reviews (I had looked them up on healthgrades, etc.) but they are certainly not available for appointments at government center (or copley for that matter). There is *one* available MD at the government center location and the ratings I am finding online are not good. I don't mind seeing a PA at all, but I think an initial checkup with a reputable MD is not too much to ask for $199 plus insurance. Earliest appointment with the MD is about 25 days out.Buyer beware, there is nothing here that can't be better accomplished without paying $199 out of pocket. I literally just signed up 10 minutes ago and have already cancelled my membership.

I was billed for a moderate complexity office visit when I went in for a med refill while out of state (based on my insurance this ended up being $218 to pick up a prescription). I'd recommend visiting a different branch; I travel a lot and I have not experienced this issue at any other locations.
Samantha Arnold: One Medical is extremely convenient, reliable, and they have the best staff I've ever encountered in a doctors office. I have a monthly prescription that I need to get in person from the doctor each time and even on those months where I forget to reach out to my PCP ahead of time, someone is always on staff to take care of my needs if she is unavailable. The app is awesome and having the ability to make appointments through it for next-day service is very convenient. Absolutely worth the yearly membership fee and honestly I'd pay even more than that in order to have access to this awesome group of people and their modern approach to healthcare. Love it, and I highly recommend!

ssrs: Accessible, professional, and without a doubt the future of health care. After trying One Medical I can never go to regular doctors again... Their app makes the whole experience unbelievably pleasant. You can message you doctors 24/7 and book your appointment all from your phone. The wait time is also incredibly short. I can book my appointment on a Sunday and see my doctor Monday morning for a full physical. Seriously the 200 bucks a year is totally worth it.

Tom jenner: Boston Medical Center just keeps getting larger. When I first started going there about 25 yrs ago. The entire place was on Harrison Ave. Then a bunch of docs and nurses moved into the new facility on Albany st into the new Shapiro bldg. Great place. They have a Doc for everything. Then over the past few yrs. They also took over 801 mass Ave. It's all on the backside of the bldg. Mostly Primary care docs. I've had the same PCP for as long as I've been going into Boston medical. Almost 25 yrs. Just a fantastic place for everyone

Cat Banks: My mother is in 7 west such a bad unit the nurse here don't care. If you have family here make sure to visit every day and call status of your loved ones. The nurses hang at nurse station and ignore patients needs. I also worked at this hospital and was treated poorly aswell on this floor when I went to serve patients meals.

It was a Telehealth visit for intake, under 60 minutes.1st charge for the physician: $502 (okay, fine)2nd charge "Ancillary Charge": $719Ancillary charge was for the physican prepping the room for her call and using a laptop, according to a Supervisor at Boston Medical Center. I asked them why I wasn't given the option to have the intake appointment in person then, she said the charges would've been the same for the facility fee.Ae you kidding me?! $1,221 to talk to someone for an intake appt via zoom. I am absolutely beside myself. I don't even understand how that's possible. Disgusting.NP was wonderful though!
L L: My mother was admitted at BMC last month. She was in the trauma step down unit 3W. Due to the fact that she is elderly she was mistreated. She did not receive the care that she should have. Stephanie Grogan, the worse doctor in the place, who is a dentist playing doctor let her starve and refused to put a temporary tube to give her nutrition. She became very ill and nearly died. If you are sent there run if they put you in 3W and you are assigned doctor Grogan.

Neil MacAloney: In comparing the service from here to other hospitals, the quick response and ability to get things done with one phone call is really great at BCH. Other hospitals make you need to go in, fill out multiple forms at different addresses, etc.

Doron Bracha: I'm sorry to join all the 1-star reviews, but the BCH billing is exorbitant and even outrageous. They did not tell us in advance that our son's short visit to the Gastroenterologist and the stool test would cost almost $2,400 ; that's insane even after the insurance covered some of it. We paid part of the bill by monthly installments, then we got a letter from debt collectors in Chicago, which was upsetting. I called BCH billing several times, they hung up after I waited on the line a long time, I left a message but they did not call me back. When I finally got to talk to someone, he was curt, impatient, pushy.The BCH revenue is over $5 Billion a year (!!) yet they have the audacity to request donations. It's not 'until every child is well', it's all about billing, not healing, like the whole healthcare system in the US :-/

JJ P: I would give a zero star if I could. Don't get me wrong - the medical service we received was exceptional. But our experience with the billing department was horrendous. I've never had any issue filing claims with any other service providers. But for whatever reason, this billing department at BCH gets the information wrong, sends the claims to the wrong address, and when I try to correct the info, they don't listen. I was so frustrated with this (we've been going back and forth for almost a year now) and I suggested that I would pick up the claims form and personally mail it to the insurance company. They said no. I really really really hope that this system improves, or at a bare minimum, does its job - sending claims to a proper/correct address.
Brandi Beaumont: I am absolutely disgusted with this facility. After making numerous phone calls prior to my child’s post op appointment to confirm that the appointment was included in the global period and there would be ZERO out of pocket cost, I was less than impressed to receive a bill for nearly $900. When I called to inquire about this, I was told that the bill would stand as is. I later spoke with a member of management, Lillian Hughes who accused me of lying regarding the conversation I had prior to my child’s appointment. After weeks of working with a member of physicians billing team, it was found that I was in fact, correct. Despite Lillian being informed of this, she took ZERO action for 3 weeks then never followed up to my emails. She is without a doubt the most unprofessional, condescending, rude person I’ve ever dealt with. The physicians organization has corrected my bill, but the hospital refuses to. I won’t even start on how unethical it seems to charge a parent nearly $500 for a 10 minute hearing test. Needless to say, I’ve transferred my child’s care elsewhere.Edit to add: Last week they sent me a refund check for $15. I called to see why as I still had an ongoing payment plan with one remaining payment. I was advised that I had over paid and now had a zero balance. Cut to today, exactly one week later and they again TAKE money out of my bank account but can't tell me why! I've never in my life seen such disorganization and lack of ability to complete even the most basic of tasks!
Daniel ADAM: Bad department experience. They was making mistakes regarding my son surgery. They put wrong information for my son health insurance. I contact them they say we can not help you because your son surgery was canceled and that's wrong my son still have surgery . They lying because they can not help at allAnd they transfer me to doctor office and doctor office say billing department they suppose help you not us .They don't have knowledge
Weiguo Zhou: I have had multiple bad experiences with CHB's billing. It happened again recently. Unbeknownst to us, our pediatrician ordered a test to be done by CHB. CHB asked for my insurance information and we provided it. Without claiming to my insurance company AND sending us the bill or statement, CHB transferred to "debt" to a collection company.This is NOT an isolated incidents. A few years, when I changed my job and insurance, CHB is the only hospital that messed up with the transfer. I did not have any issue with my primary doctor, my dentist, and any other doctors or hospital. Only CHB messed up. I have had to call CHB and insurance companies multiple time. It turned out that CHB got my insurance ID number wrong, which would have not been a problem if CHB simply copied my new insurance card like all the other doctors did. But they did not do that. Instead, they created a complicated system and I had to make a few phone call to enter my new insurance information into their system.
