Tufts Medical Center Emergency Room: what do users think?
Kev p: I am 57 yr old diabetic who passed out behind the wheel of my car due to severe low sugar that dropped to 23!! EMTs, ER Dr Rideout & his awesome team saved my life bringing me back to conscience!!! They were and are all my personal angels. THANK YOU ALL💯❣️🙌🏽
PoLing Chen: Long wait time, I am not a fan of the er employees as they were not near me when my seizure was happening. I tried calling out everyone just walking past by. Woke up overheard, I fell off bed, etc, and admitted to the hospital for a few days' stay. I have been here countless times as this place knows the most about my health status. The food here is good. I just wish they'd let me use the shower instead more often when I'm not connected to anything. Another thing I hate is even the doctor ask me stuff that I said before, I'm an introvert. I don't like to talk, and I prefer quietness. I'm just not a fan of being admitted overnight. They don't come draw my blood every morning now, which is better than before as i am cowardly.
T Johnson: I went to ER Sunday morning 5:45am I had horrible symptoms and all i received the entire 5+hrs i was there was two nose swabs and was told they dont no whats wrong..the 1st doctor i saw was cool wanted to do a chest xray to make sure no pneumonia, the 2nd doctor came in and sent me on my way and the male nurse said "drink tea" ..they didnt do ANYTHING for me and my chest /cough is still horrible..he treated me like a homeless person..ER Not worth it..made all that money off of my insurance..rip off
Heena: Went here because I was having trouble sleeping for many days and ended up almost fainting/seeing things. Was taking melatonin daily to knock myself out because neighbor's noice was that loud.. and on top of that, had gastric issues which only made staying up harder. They treated me well, fixed my sleep issues and got me normal and back to working. I was reluctant to trust them as I am out of state, but after being treated, I think I would not trust anyone else. The brown doctor here was so nice and caring. He made sure I was A-okay and he made me feel truly cared for.
N D: I'm at the ED. You'll wait for hours before getting brought in. Go somewhere else if you can.
Erin O'Neill: Dr. Rice is the absolute BEST. I’ve gone here twice before and wasn’t super pleased with treatment. For convenience purposes, I decided to go a third time and was so pleasantly surprised. I felt listened to and respected by staff, especially Dr. Rice and a nurse named Ashley. They did everything in her power to make sure I received proper treatment and completely altered how I feel towards emergent care.
Shotzbynola: Nurses are totally rude condescending and have no empathy for humans more worried about there social hours totally need to do better makes me disappointed with the hospital system
Kelly Cambridgeport: Tufts Medical Center Emergency Room is a good resource for emergency and urgent matters especially in the evening or weekend times. I normally would have gone to the Mass General Brigham Urgent Care on Stuart Street, but it was closed on the Sunday of a holiday weekend in 2022. TMC was quick and Dr. Sullivan was helpful. The insurance check-in employee was super nice. The intake nurse who went over my medical chart looked put-off. (Meanwhile, I am thinking the intake nurse is lucky because first, I am freshly showered and clean, I can explain my medical problem fluently and accurately, and I am organized.) The nurse who took my blood pressure just wanted to get a reading to write down on my chart; she improperly used a wrong-sized cuff and put it on my lower arm. I pointed her to the correct cuff that was hanging near a monitor by the exam bed, to which she then used correctly. The nurse who examined the wound was kind. One star off because the ER should have followed medical protoccol and offered or given a tenanus shot because I had an open wound and infection.Disclaimer: I was a volunteer at this location when it was called the New England Medical Center Hospital Emergency Room.
Bayo Elizabeth Cary: I, went into Tufts Medical, for ER social working. I, am disabled. I, can barely walk& I have to have shelter. I'm physically ill& struggling to live. I'm feverish with pain, all day& night-every day of the week. The social worker, refused to help me, and told me, to go out into the streets, to die. I, waited, for over 6 hours, to speak with him& he was not concerned, about: my health, my well-being, or my immediate shelter needs. I, do not recommend Tufts Medical, for ER care, or general services. I, think that Tufts Medical, has no care or concern, for humanity. I, could die tonight-I, am that sick& no one, in the ER cared-it, wasn't only, the medical doctor,& the social worker. No one in the ER cared, that I need shelter& I, have nowhere safe, to go. Skip Tufts Medical & you will probably live, a longer& happier, life.
tee m: I told them I wasn’t feeling well. They ran a Covid test. When they found out it wasn’t Covid they just sent me home like They didn’t care to find out what it was.Terrible. Careless.
WinAlways RainOrShine: VIP Treatment...Had an emergency, and because I've received world class care from my PCP @ Tufts Medical...I decided to switch permanently from my local dental care, to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine...Multiple expert consultations, expedient and dedicated care. Seriously, you'll receive dedicated care....as long as it takes...for your issue to be resolved. Appointments are custom made for your situation. Although their cost are lower than most....but there are a few caveats....You'll be penalized for missing appointments...and you'll need to invest time once you are fortunate enough to get an appointment. GREAT SERVICE...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Bill Enross: Never like to go here, but so happy they are there. Had to take my son and Dr Kendra Lastowka and Dr Matt Mostofi were nothing short of spectacular. We were there for quite some time, but both of these professionals kept us informed and the process moving as quickly as possible - terrific experience.
TheRenee Awesomeness: Always Good.
Sherri Fitzpatrick: The doctors and nurses are awesome!!! It’s the medical admin in the front checking you in who is rude. No empathy for someone who is sick. And got really mouthy really fast trying to tell me where I can and cannot go. I’ll be putting in a complaint on her.Even though this is a hospital it’s still a business and I am a customer. What’s funny is I come here all the time and this girl felt privileged and thought she could just say what ever she pleases to customers who are sick. SMH
Jessica Olson: My husband was transferred here from a regional hospital for his cardiac issues. The ER staff were fantastic as well as the cardiac intensive Care unit. The ER nurses were incredible, very attentive to a very challenging case. Well staffed with plenty of resources for emergent cases.
Julia Molé: Too bad I can't give them 0 star! I waited more than 8 hours!!! to be diagnosed. 4 hours in the waiting room and then 4 hours inside.A girl next to me, in terrible condition, was vomiting for 3 hours in the waiting room and they didn't take her in.Eventually she walked out. Also they bill you separately for labs and doctor talking to you so make sure you ask before.
Cam Deschenes: Currently been here for now six hours (8am-2pm) and still waiting. The staff clearly doesn’t communicate with one another as they keep asking me, the patient, what was last completed. I’ve sat in my room listening to nurses and doctors stand outside and just gossip and talk for extended periods of time. Took nearly 3 hours to even see a doctor who was a resident that had to say out loud at one point “hmm what else should I ask you”. Then waited another hour for an attending who ordered a CT and said that it takes up to an hour for the CT to be read, it’s currently been 2 hours since then and still haven’t heard anything. I was nervous about coming here based on the reviews but figured it was people just being dramatic and that Tufts was a reputable hospital. Nope. It’s a joke. Definitely don’t risk it and just go elsewhere.
Eric Shaw: In response to the reply to my last comment.I did make an appointment ahead of time so that I could wait at home. I waited 3 hours at home, arrived on time, then waited another 2 hours past my scheduled time in the waiting room and still was not close to being seen.
Nancy Birmingham: This ED would have received 0 stars if the option was there. As a visiting patient from the SF Bay Area, where healthcare is outstanding and the patient is at the center of the treatment plan and care, I cannot even begin to conceptualize my experience in this ER.My treatment was morally reprehensible and that doesn't even come close to defining it.The only provider who even remotely cared about my pain related to 2 failed spinal surgeries was a Physician's Assistant named Adam. I felt so sorry for him, because his hands were tied by the compassionless medical attending who signed off on his orders, a spineless woman with the name Dr. Yousef. It's important to appreciate I am a frail older woman with 43 + years of nursing experience, including education. I am extremely observant. I liked nothing that I saw, including an armband in the restroom, a HIPPA violation. Besides Adam, the only other person I had the sense cared about my dilemma was a lovely assistant named Kate I believe, a women headed to PA school herself. The other associate of hers, an Irish woman, also seem concerned. In the end, I was told I would potentially have to wait another 12 hours for my MD in Cal to call back, a real problem since she had left on vacation that morning. I had an email on my phone to confirm this.In any event, if you want care that may endanger your life and leave you traumatized for the rest of it, that would be the only reason to go to this place. I never got a second of relief from the pain and nobody even tried other than Adam. Kudos to Adam. The rest of the story is too painful to tell right now. I am so grateful I'll be back home tomorrow. I can suffer for another day.As a follow up to this review: I had more than enough pain medication waiting when I got home. An emergency MRI showed a massive herniation of the known herniation at L2. My spine surgeon and others' cannot believe what I had to endure, especially my treatment here at Tufts ER.I await urgent decompression of my spine with some kind of repair. I have not left my bed except for obvious reasons and diagnostic tests.I would have been a patient in the local ER of my health plan here at home had I been fortunate enough to be here when this happened. I worked in this ER and know how it operates. The former Department Chief is one of our closest friends. Since returning home with increasing deficits, I've been advised to go to this (my) ER twice. There was absolutely no reason why the decision to call one of the docs here was not agreed to/attempted/made. Absolutely none. I would have normally been there and had Dr. Yousef been willing to break "protocol," all that extra dehumanization could have been avoided. She just could have cared less about my suffering. I swear she hid from me and I'm probably right on.I've had flashbacks and nightmares about my experience and the lack of professionalism from the visit to Tufts. I've spent more than half of my career teaching nascent young women and men entering nursing to deeply care about all of humanity and to treat each person they encounter as if they were a family member. I shudder when I remember how I pretty much only had Kate and Adam on my side. To everyone else, I'm sure I was that problem patient in bed whatever. I never felt so helpless in my entire life.Since that experience didn't kill me and made me so much stronger, I can get through whatever challenges I face. I have absolutely no intention of letting this experience rest. I will go to the ends of the earth to make sure no other human being ever has to endure such indifference and neglect. It's beyond unethical and morally reprehensible to treat persons in a real pain/medical crisis as if they are drug seekers/addicts. Especially since all the verifiable information needed could have been accessed via an EMR in less than 5 minutes of anyone's time. The real travesty in this is to not have a protocol or plan in place for an actual pain emergency. It is such a no brainer. Any risk management department would be foolish not to have this in place.
K. Ant.: Terrible, can't triage, waste of time. Tufts is a joke! Teaching hospital yeah teach you to go there! Save yourselves go elsewhere

Massachusetts General Hospital Emergency Room: what do users think?
Peter and Diane McLaughlin (GBCC): I came to the ER by ambulance and every step of the way, I was treated with respect. I was in the ER for 17 hours while top doctors sent me for tests and figured out what was wrong with me and how they were going to treat me. I ended up diagnosed with a CSF leak and meningitis. Neuro and ENT doctors collaborated to see who would do my emergency surgery to repair the hole. Nurses and Residents checked in with me frequently, despite having a lot of patients. I wasn’t allowed to eat or drink because I may need surgery and I didn’t get pain meds in time but I advocated for myself and no one treated me as if I was a nuisance. I can’t say enough about the care I received. They definitely saved my life that day.I ended up at mass eye and ear for a week, recovering and their staff was top notch as well.Diane McLaughlin
Boston HU20: Worst experience in an emergency room. I waited almost 9 hours to be seen by a physician. I was sent to the emergency room from mgh urgent care for possible internal bleeding. During the 9 hours I expressed that I was in a lot of pain. Nothing was being done. I was left sitting in the waiting room. It wasn’t much better when I finally got in the emergency room to see a provider. If you can go somewhere else I highly recommend to do so…
Harold Kim: Exceptional care provided by some of the best doctors and nurses in USA! Two people very dear to me have been treated here for serious illness with excellent results.Went to three other emergency rooms for neurologist, with at least 12+ hr wait in each with no result. At MGH emergency room, there were two that looked into the illness. Yes, we had to wait, but what do you expect in emergency room? The wait is worth it to have access to the best taking care of your loved ones! Thanks MGH!
Maryanne Pereira: The nurse I the front lobby has been telling people it is a 4 hour wait for everyone but 3 people have been waiting for 8 hours to seen
Eagle Danvers: They teach you how to be patient. Not patient in hospital patient but they make you wait.Rude people.
Maria de la luz Melgar González: Lo peor de lo peor 😤 lo atienden a uno después de 6 horas o más de uno estar ahí. No vale la pena!!!
Tara Clark: A cattle call. You wait over 2 hours in pain while staff walks around chatting. If I wasn’t desperate I would go elsewhere
Nancy Liu: Waited 6+ hours for a potential broken foot.. and it’s supposed to be their “slow” day. I can’t image what is like during their busy days… ALSO 6-8 hr wait for an MRI scan… that’s ridiculous
MakeUp ByGiggles: Brought my mom in for high blood pressure on a Tuesday at 4pm, they forgot to take her to get a CT scan and forgot about her all around. We ended up leaving the ER on Wednesday afternoon almost 24 hrs later which was unacceptable! THIS PLACE IS FCKN HORRIBLE and the nurses don't know whats going on and if they do, they clearly do not care about patients! All that time and not one cracker or meal was offered! Place grosses me out!
La LoFi: These doctors don’t know what they are doing, my partner dislocated his shoulder and they all acted confused on what to do next. They didn’t know the right way to pop it back in or the right dosage of medication to give him. They were looking up Google photos and asking multiple people how to do it. Then when he asked if it’s possible to just pop it back in because of the pain, the women doctor did it for him, it popped back in, and when he tried to move it in the position to put it back in the sling, he was in more pain. She seemed confused and didn’t know what to do and had to ask multiple people.
OCAN TOKATLI: Mass General Brigham 0 (zero) starsMass General Boston 4(****) starsMass General Brigham deserves zero star, I waited 4 hours to see doctor but I realised that is impossible .. Emergency means you should see the doctor in 10 minutes.. Health system should totally change upside down. Peoples health shouldnt be the matter of money.. If they need 10 more physicians, they should hire.. Profit is more inportant than peoples health..Next day I went to Mass General Boston, Completeky different story ****, I was able to see the doctor very quick, they took my emergency ultrasound in 2 hours.. Waited for main ultrasound 5 hours in total. Which is reasonable .. I have been all around the world, only in Us and England Health system is soo bad.. All system should change to non profit organisatiıon..the most expensive health system in all around the world and worst quality and speed..
william Procopio: Heard a guy say he’s going home to die on his way out. 9 hrs later i think he made the right call.
Jason May: If you want to be degraded, treated like cattle, and forgotten about then this is the place for you! I was there from 10am till about 6pm and I was one of the quick ones to get help. Don't get me wrong there was a handful of staff that was nice and caring, but for the most part it was just them looking like you were bothering them for being sick or injured. Not really sure why they were all sitting at computers when there cell phones never left their noses. For food and drink I was given one cup of water and a pill the whole time I was there that really filled me up. But at the end of the day you gotta think" it could be worse" .... AND NOW IT IS! I'm feeling worse today then when I went in!
Rick Derosier: Was taken there by Boston EMS for low blood sugar (even though fully alert and aware after being given glucose). ER took my blood sugar upon arrival which still registered low. Awake, alert, and answered all the ER questions. Literally took an hour before the ER gave me food which is absolutely insane. The ER ran several unnecessary blood labs for absolutely no reason. Finally given food. In the ER for 4 unnecessary hours to treat a simple low blood sugar when it should've taken 20-30 mins. Absolute incompetence. Filed a complaint with hospital and of course that went nowhere. But it's all about ringing up the highest bill possible and milking you for as much money as they can.And providing the poorest care on top of it. Thanks Mass Criminal Hospital.
Laura Freels: Avoid at all costs. Went to this ER and waited 4.5 hours to be seen for a possible ankle fracture. The nursing staff placed me in a wheelchair for this entire time and my ankle and foot continued to swell to twice its size and the discomfort became intolerable. I needed to ice and elevate it but this was not offered at any time. Next to me, a man complaining about being dehydrated ("but may just be tired"- his exact words) was placed in a stretcher, given water, and allowed to lie down. I finally had enough of the lazy incompetents who work here--realizing that I would not be receiving care any time soon. So I very painfully limped out to find another hospital.
Abdullah Almaatouq: How can a hospital has such an emergency care? The nurses are so rude and make you feel like they are doing YOU a favor. My 8mo son was sick and got dehydrated so we we to the ER and begged them for IV fluids. It took them 4 hours to put it the IV in.. then, when my son pulled it out from his arm… it took 3 hours of begging before we finally got a nurse to put it back in (they kept complaining about how busy they were).WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!After 13 hours of waiting, we only spoke to a doctor for 3 minutes.. she wasn’t aware of my son’s case that she reviewed his lab work from my “patient gateway” from MY phone!
Javier Bello: ER with min 3-5 hours waiting for a doctor to see you.Not sensitive or empathetic personal.
Glo: I wish there was less than one star. This ER has to be where sick and injured people come to get sicker. The front desk nurses are rude and act like they are doing YOU a favor because you are ill or in need of care. Quoting the time that other people have waited besides you instead of giving you customer service and trying to make you feel comfortable with the process. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Please do not go here with an urgent condition (in my case a broken foot) unless you are prepared to wait 8+ hours and listen to bitter nurses and staff tell you that you aren’t special. They never pre-examined my foot and gave me false information like telling me there’s a 3 hour wait only for another staff member to hit me with the infamous “I don’t know why they told you that” phrase …the ANTHEM for all dysfunctional service organizations. I’d be amiss if I didn’t offer a solution. HIRE PATIENT ORIENTED FRONT DESK STAFF/gatekeepers. It’s one thing to be short staffed…it’s another thing to have staff that notably hate their job. You’d be surprised how far that little will go. Sick people don’t plan to be sick. And if they can’t be attended toin a reasonable time…please at least treat them w kindness and respect. As a health care professional…this is your reasonable service. BEWARE
Tara Nguyen: I am currently waiting with my friend in the emergency room and we have waited well over 6.5 hours for her to be seen. This is absolutely unacceptable, she is in so much pain to the point of literal tears meanwhile the nurses and doctors are dragging their feet. Ridiculous.
Gabriela Pineda: Came to the emergency room as my sister is admitted, families already going through a lot but of course the front desk person is super rude to patients, she was incredibly demeaning, rude and no empAthy while my brother, father and I were there made side quiet rude sarcasm comments. The lady from Pedi that answer the phone Rhonda was also demeaning, rude and super disrespectful. Save yourself and go elsewhere this is by far the worse worse incompetent people they hired for night shifts.
Adrian Nahant: The people who work in the front are very rude disrespectful and unprofessional I went to the emergency room for a serious medical condition and they told me that they won't let me in unless I wear a Mask patients can not be turned down for refusing to wear a Mask and based on what they are forcing people to wear a Mask if the Mask is not required by the law?

Boston Children's Hospital Emergency Room: what do users think?
Shalia Hayes: Worst experience EVER. They say me in front of the staff bathroom in the hallway for almost two hours with a child that has a severe skin rash all over his body. No one came by or even checked on him. Once I complained I was quoted 10 more minutes waited 15 and decided to leave. Only then did the administrator on call, call me and “try to make things right” how about you look around your ER hallways and make things right for the sick kids and parents struggling to keep their emotions intact for their kids. Worst ER experience ever and I still need to bring my child to another ER to be seen.
Ken Ngo: The worst experience at an emergency waiting room ever, full of people who just bring children here to get a room to sleep at night, nurses don't care at all
hafsa el alaoui: This was my worst experience they don't treat you well every one hour you see one of nurses coming and go without any information or explanation , my baby had a fever and she was vomiting and they treat us like nothing I don't know ifthat a kind of racism against us because of our ethnicity or is it the same with everyone I hate this place and I will never go back there
Marie Callahan: My experience at Boston Children's Hospital was a pleasant one. Absolute best care here for my daughter. I had the nicest emergency room attendant named Antoinette Lasseur taking care of me. She was so friendly and responsive to all my needs. I've never had such great care anywhere else. She deserves a medal with all she deals with everyday and still reacts with a smile and kindness!!
Danielle de Feo-Giet: This hospital is simply amazing and ER was great in seeing our son and helping us speedily with prescription problems.
Amy Kennedy: My Daughter was here for a few days and they treated her like she was in Jail. She was her for mental health issues not to be treated like a Prisoner.
Hadeel Elkasah: DO NOT GO THERE! We waited 4+ hours to be seen. And then they took a photo of the injury and they told us they gonna send it to the doctor and we will wait for them to call us back with information. Got back again to the PACKED waiting area. 2 hours and no update until I decided to leave. Most horrible experience ever.
Jessica S.: Not fast or a good time. But also can appreciate the hard work the ER staff do.
Queen queef: Was meh. Some of the doctors seemed rude while others seemed overly nice. Half of them are definitely psychos. Like look at the pictures of the staff. They have crazy eyes. I went in there and could sense it was a predator prey vibe. That’s the reason this hospital is so far up, because everybody who works there is crazy. Went in there with a heartbeat of 25/100, if you guys see this it’s Isabella LOL.
Yury Bialykh: Waited for help for 4+ hours with 6mo baby, saw people come and go in a meantime. No indication of a wait time, claims at 3hr mark that this is “normal”. Terrible experience, get an ambulance if you want to be admitted in a reasonable time
María E García: They have been amazing the different times i had to take my daughter to the ER, great professionals, plenty of resources to take care of children
the child in ur basement: Need new people 🙄 omg 😲
Jordan Rohlfing: My 6 year old Daughter needed emergency care. We did wait about 3 hours. She was seen and treated by caring well trained professionals. Can't say enough about the service that my daughter received.
Yesenia Martinez: Idk what's going on with this place. I'm disappointed. Used to be better.
Jon Smith: Horrible experience at Boston Children’s. We had a 3.5hr wait in a tiny crowded waiting room. The staff was rude and provided no information. It’s amazing that a place with as many resources as this hospital can’t provide anywhere near decent service.
Fern: I was locked up in a medal room, my claustrophobia wasn't liking how small the room was, all because I was deemed "dangerous" for having suicidal thoughts. They tried to take me away from my mum who (at the time) was the only one who could handle my anxiety. (This all happened when I was 10 years old)
jojo M: Worst nightmare ever.
Patrick James: My daughter was seen immediately, the staff was attentive and compassionate.
Abdullahi Osman: This was the worst experience

BMC Emergency Services Program (Boston Emergency Services Team): what do users think?
Jailene Garcia: I don’t understand why these people are calling me when I have absolutely no issues at all. Like stop calling my number
puro ‘fett: Don't help at all don't waste your time
Kevin Braga: The letter E in B.E.S.T. stands for "Emergency"....called the BEST Team last night due to my son who is on the spectrum becoming disregulated and assaulting my other son. It took 83 minutes for a response from B.E.S.T. The doctors at Tufts told us that we can't call 911 when our son is assaulting others members in the house but had to wait for BEST to respond. Failure by both BEST and Tufts Children Hospital.
Jasmine Rogers: I was told someone would be here in 2 hours. It's been 4. God help those who can't get the help they need from The BEST team.
Rachelle Rollins: The BEST team is useless. They only help you if you are on the verge of suicide and even then it’s not likely they’ll help much. I wish there were more options for children in crisis in Boston. They truly don’t care about the outcome for their patients.
Laura Harvey: This agency is absolutely terrible and I don’t understand how it’s legal for them to function like this. They sometimes don’t show up at all & never tell you, nor do they contact you to see if you’ve stabilized or are even still alive. They say they’ll call cabs for patients and then don’t, they show up hours after they said they would (if at all), and they’re just plain rude to people in crisis. BEST is an absolute disgrace to mental health care.
Molly Clark: Really disappointed by this service. We called to ask for help with a friend in a mental health crisis after reading about their services online. The only question they asked was about what insurance they have and then immediately told us they couldn't help because they didn't take Aetna and just to go to the ER or call 911. No other advice, no compassion, the woman on the phone was entirely unhelpful and uncaring. Really disappointed.
Roxanne Curzi: This organization should be dismantled. They have unqualified people making decisions based on protecting liability and not on the best interest of the patient. It's disgraceful.
Emerson D: Based on the observations of others- In many ways Best bills itself as an alternative to the Emergency room. The truth is they work closely with ERs and often encourage callers to visit the ER "because it makes things go easier". However BEST really contracts with unlocked units (read: clients who are not acute) and shouldn't tell people to go to emergency staff. They are not transparent with callers and are really only good when resources are available. In the age of corona and a lack of resources, they are not helpful and many of them are not trained to handle difficult behaviors. Definitely sound burnt out and not warm and friendly.
Tina Smith: Best Team has helped me alot even on days i did not want the help i got it anyway they help everyone who they think needs it when they are a danger to themselves and other people
Jay Mack: Not a good place best team helps only people they like. They look at your past stays no prescription . I was ask last week to go there I said no send me to to hell
Anna Karaski: They are a joke they dont help anyone.
Julie Kingsbury: Supportive and caring staff to help when symptoms are overwhelming
Aneudy Navarro: I call them for my daughter and they were very helpful and great
Pink Boy: They are alert, attentive, professional and caring. They have specialized staff who tenders your emergency needs. A good place to get advice and detox services.
Kevin Burdick: I lost my wallet about a month ago. B.E.S.T. mailed all my I.D.'s, Medical cards, and Business cards to my Career Center. I was shocked, surprised, and relieved.Thank you, B.E.S.T., for your time and concern.K. Burdick

Boston Medical Center Emergency Room: what do users think?
Mulugeta Kebedom: Worst Emergency, this emergency room is worst than Africa. They let you wait for hours, if you have heart attack or stroke, no mercy, they make Waite until you die. They have to be more responsible and better than this. No improvement and no change and do not care about the petulant
Walter White: Dr. Chris Russell is so terrible
Vanessa Reis: Ótimo atendimento
aiting ma: Everyone I met here is so nice, and I really appreciate your cares.
Marta De Jesus: Worse Emergency i ever have been too. My son had severe abdominal pains. He was screaming and they keep him in the waiting room. He waited so long that he went home... Thats why i can not be a patient at this hospital...
Sambid Shrestha: I don’t think it could get any worse than this. Definitely avoid the ER. 7 hour of wait and still nothing.
Fadolo: ~ Friendly & Respectful
Katie Burrows: Boston Medical Center Emergency Room is working very well.
Albina Iksanova: 11,5 hours of waiting in the emergency room and yet to be seen by anybody, no one is updating on the expected wait time…
BIG MAMA: Was transported from Charlton hospital in Fall River to pedi care here they are amazing people very caring and understanding they answered all my questions and concerns was alway in my sons room asking if we need anything the pedi u it at box is excellent thank you all for everything.
Michael Nunya Business: ER wait times are 3+ hours.. with out a major trauma incident happening nearby. Staff are ghetto, rude, discourteous and I'm black...let Me tell You BMC is full of hoodrats and hoochie mamma's in scrubs! Go Tufts Medical Or Mass General. After 3 hours of waiting and staff walking by talking and laughing under their breath about My frustration..i left, before I had to cut up on them ratchet people.
NANI143 DEPINA: I get a lot of people need to be seen, but the waiting is unreal. Checking in on people is very important. The risk of them leaving the hospital with out no treatment should not happen.
Nicole Fitzpatrick: Came here today to be seen. Wait time was not that bad at all considering there was a good amount of people in the waiting area before me. Everyone was very kind and I felt like I got the answers I needed. They even ordered some labs to ease my mind which I got back fairly quickly.
mariah davis- pringle: The nurse's are very nice but my only problem is when they tell you they will call you with your lab work results they don't then your stuck chasing them around as if your test results are not important... Follow-up nurse please get on your job and do it correctly. Don't tell people they will receive a call in 24 hrs and then you don't the same way you would like your information to get back to you ASAP treat the patients just as if it was you. It's been 4 days now and still have to yet to get my results for any of my lab work . Please do y'all jobs and stop playing with ppls lives
Rick Shaw: Best hospital. They have to put up with the addicts and homeless take up the ER. They are the most normal caring and professional Medical Staff I’ve ever seen. The urgent care is the best in thee area
Salah Belghiti: (Worst Emergency), shame to all people who’s responsible for this place,Waiting for hours, no update about your turn or any information , stuff hidden, place full of drugs…. ( how they called this place a hospital) A zoo is well organized.Definitely not a place to be if you’re human. After reading comments of people was complaining years ago and we’re at the end of 2022 nothing changed the choice is yours.
Salina Bennett: I spent 10 hours with an (unknown for the entire time till my discharg) swollen larynx after being freaked out with a CT scan and a possible diagnosis. Only to feel completely written off after I was given an over the counter medicine for acid reflux after telling them that it's been a long time since I even had that!
Boston Jock: I came here for diagnosis and treatment for a severe infection. Checkin process was fast with minimal wait time until triage. I was quickly seen by a doctor and we discussed a plan. Tests took some time to get back but as results came in they let me know. We had to wait a while for a specialist but that’s not surprising.Everyone was very friendly and professional, even when dealing with problem patients that I could hear giving them a hard time.Honestly I think some reviewers just have an unrealistic expectation coming into an ER. This one was great in my opinion, I’d totally come back if I need an ER visit.
Victoria Vu: 👎
Ritchie Vernon: After July 18th I find out at BMC when the first of three surgeries are about to take place the first surgery is on the right hand and the wrist to repair nerve damage from 2017 injury they said the recovery time is 6 to 8 weeks depending on the person I guess on how well they can recover and heal I don't know where it is yet but the recovery will be somewhere here in Boston and I look forward to it because ever since the injury and also to my right knee and my lower back it has been one painful situation after another, and my doctor who's doing the back surgery later on believes that the injury May 2017 caused significant pain to the right knee leg as well as what I'm feeling today and he believes that the surgery to the back can correct the constant pain I'm feeling down the right leg and the numbness in it as well I'm not going to know how to feel if I can walk again as almost normal I will celebrate and Shout that day if that comes to pass what he said I have a lot of friends in prayer that are pulling for me to be able to walk normal again if that happens I'm going to have a cry of relief and it will definitely take care of the years of stress since the injury😀😂😁😆
Stephen West: Be prepared for a long 6+hr wait dealing with crackheads, blood in the bathrooms and did I mention the crackheads. Go somewhere else even if you already here

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Emergency Room: what do users think?
Michael Zeman: Nice waiting room, but had to look for some to get help. No one at the desk.
Nimish Bendre: Great hospital and good service.
Ronald Lang: This is Boston's nicest the newest hospital in Boston! My patient care was outstanding and I complain a lot! A big thank you to all the people who helped me recover at Beth Israel Deaconess hospital!!!
Angus Vickers: 10+ hour er trip, out of toilet paper in the bathroom, soap dispenser broken, nurse walked away while checking vitals, really disappointing experience
Rose Johnson: The doctors at this hospital are great and seem to really care about your well-being, but most of the nurses are not and are extremely rude. I came in on surgeon’s recommendations after surgery because I was experiencing symptoms of an infection. The long wait time for a room did not bother me, but I was crying because I was in extreme pain and it was 4 am and I had recently had surgery so I was exhausted and my body needed rest to recover from my organs being moved in my body. I overheard nurses complaining about the fact I was crying. When I finally got a room, the nurse poked and prodded me quite a few times in attempts to find a vein (I’ve always been told I have easy veins and no other medical institution has ever had any trouble placing an IV). The wait times between test results were maybe 3-5 hrs, and I was told it was so long because I was not “on file”, despite having had surgery at BI 3 days prior. When I wanted to leave because the blood tests came back with no sign of infection, the nurse got very hostile and cold to me and originally said I was not allowed to as they were still waiting on a urine sample. I had no urinary symptoms or any sign of UTI. Eventually they said I could leave “against medical advice”, despite the blood tests showing that there were no signs of infection (what I had been told to come in to check for) and the doctors saying that I could go and they did not think it was necessary to pursue further testing if the blood labs showed I did not have an infection. When I left “against medical advice”, the nurse was extremely rude and irresponsible as she ripped the IV out of my arm to the point it started bleeding due to her excessive force. She didn’t care. I was also told I didn’t have to sign anything to leave and that the visit summary would not appear on my chart because I was not on file. I do not know how that’s possible, considering I had had surgery at BI within the last week. So, nurses were terrible people, but doctors were nice. I had a few surgical complications after that and did not return to BI due to the experience I had there. Mass General and Mount Auburn nurses actually treated me like a human being and were lovely. Would not recommend… 2 stars solely for the kindness of the doctors.
Jelena Ryvkina: I am not usually posting, but this is important for people to know. Don't go into this ER if you can avoid it. Doctors are too few and seem too jaded to give proper attention to patients (in our case doc did not sign off on blood pressure meds for about an hour while my aunt was under suspicion of a stroke and had a very high blood pressure. ). Also, we had a 30h wait to be admitted to the proper unit. Nurses are mostly very young and seem to primarily focus on how important and busy looking they are. Lead nurse was having a power trip and came periodically to bark at us about masks and stepping away 3foot from my aunt's bed, even though she herself was without a mask half the time (would lift it while talking to other med personal). I can go on about rudeness but I rather acknowledge that there were a few exceptions of professional and kind people in-between.
Tia Smith: If you don't want a loved one to die, then don't take them there.
Morgan Lord: 1/10. After not being able to eat or drink for 5 days my doctor told me to go the the hospital. I arrived at bidh and went to register. There was a line of 6 people. Doubled over with abnominal pain, the lady motioned for me to come up and the people in line helped me walk up. She immediately told me to wait inside for triage. She personally got the triage nurse to see me. After triage the nurse told me to sit and wait 3pm. 6 hours and counting....... i asked the triage nurse to reevaluate me the pain was worse and it was hard to breathe, i was having an asthma attack and asked if i could get fluids before i passed out.....nothing! 2 hours later(11pm) the only interaction I had from any of the er staff was to ask, if I was video recording. I wasnt and turned to show them my phone. The triage nurse walked away and the guard apologized. I was texting my family about how much pain I was in and if someone could come get me.. Insulted, I left. I went to another hospital, got seen in 2 hours and was scheduled for emergency surgery. I guess bidh doesn't care if you die in their waiting room as long as you don't video record. What are they afraid of getting caught doing? Incompetence? Mind you, I was never allowed to see a doctor. Stayed in the waiting room the entire time.
J M: What a awful hospital. Wouldn't bring my dog here. From the rude old man at the information desk to the rude nurses. The place is FILTHY!! Absolutely horrible.
Emma Soule: They trapped me in a room for 2 days with no information when I was at my lowest, stole hundreds of dollars worth of my jewelry and my medication that I need to stay alive and never reimbursed me, and then they HAVE THE BALLS TO CALL ME, PUT ME ON HOLD AND THEN DEMAND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR "TREATMENT." Whatever you do do not go here, they have patients sitting in the hallways for days because they are woefully unprepared and understaffed. You would be better off going to a crack house and asking for medical care then going here. DO NOT GO HERE GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
Josue Henriquez: Worst experience ever the ER nurse don’t seem to care about patient people coming after me going in first 4 hours waiting
Shelley Mintz: I was treated equally and appropriately for my Seizure Disorder and my Nausea, Vomiting and other symptoms! BIDMC Emergency Room Physician's treated me with the utmost Respect and DIGNITY; because of my Stroke in 2001!!!!!
Aziza Sattarova: My mother was brought to the ER at 7pm, but she was only admitted to the inside of ER at 11am. It took them 4 hours to bring her from one room to another. She was diagnosed with gallbladder stones and ER told her that surgery is necessary. However, even though there were plenty of rooms with empty beds they placed her in the corridor in front of a trash room! It smells, there are flies everywhere, and there is no care whatsoever. They didn’t even have any spare blankets or pillows for comfort. HORRIBLE place!!! There better ERs in Boston, they will provide much better service without causing so much stress and horror.
Rafael Shmuel: The majority of their staff are completely emotionless and kinda remind me of sociopaths. Sick people...
Emily Lospennato: Late last year, the doctors at Beth Israel saved my father's life. The nurses took care of him (and us) like we were family. I am forever indebted to them for giving me my dad back.I have recently been dealing with my own health issues--chronic pain in my head, neck, arm, etc. likely due to a pinched nerve. I knew to go to the BI emergency room today when I experienced chest pain. I was seen right away and met with so much kindness, empathy, and compassion which isn't always the case with an invisible condition like mine. Thank you to Dr. Dubosh and her team for their care and their kindness. I have a long road ahead but it's always made easier by people like you.
Novera Alam: I went with my abdominal pain at 4 am in the morning and the doctor did not see me until 7 am. Following up tests took several hours of waiting in-between. The nurses are extremely unprofessional and loud in ER where all serious patients are fighting for their lives. The doctor did not even show up to talk about the report and what should I do about the follow up. I am very disappointed with their treatments towards patients.
Tricia. Stephens: The " body guard" at the ER check in is on a serious power trip!!! I heard her but because I had a difference of opinion she wanted to threaten me with no access or being removed from the hospital!!! NOT the time or place for flexing ur muscles
Frank Rier: Why isn't this hospital located in Maine? It would be a perfect fit there.
Ellibeth BC: The doctors and nurses was a pleasure to speak with. My husband operation was a success
Nicole Cook: I have never had such an extremely awful experience at the ER like I did here. The nurses are extremely unprofessional i honestly couldnt believe it. The care is completely inadequate and I urge everyone to choose a different ER than this one if you value your health. I arrived at 12:30 pm and was seen by a doctor who did an exam while i was still sitting in the hospital lobby waiting room 4 hours later. I was having eye issues and was then moved from the lobby to the eye exam room chair by the ophthalmology machine/device. I then waited in that chair which looked like it hadnt been used in years for 7-8 hours. I did not see or speak to a doctor or nurse during that time except for the tech who brought me to my ct scan. I repeatedly asked to see a dr bc my headache was increasing which was never followed up by a nurse. I ended up being diagnosed with cellulitis in the eye which is extremely serious and was sent home with NO medications but a WRITTEN script to be filled after being at that ER for 12 hours for a 30 second exam and 2 minute ct scan. It was midnight and there were no pharmacies open and they didnt fill the script. I asked for my medical records and a copy of the Ct scan in case anything changed/i needed to go to the er again and they said i would have to call in a few days and pick them up. I ended up going to Tufts ER that night bc i had increasing pain and blurry vision but still had no medications and nowhere to get them filled at that hour thanks to this ER. Tufts ER gave me medications, prompt attention, and adequate care. Tufts is amazing compared to this facility. Extremely upsetting experience at Beth israel. For someone who was conscious and alert during my stay at the ER and my day consisted of overhearing peoples conversations from my eye exam chair next to the nurses station I absolutely urge everyone to choose a different facility for healthcare. It’s completely inappropriate for nurses to be 1. discussing current patients in a gossiping manner 2. hear audible cries from patients, not check on them, but continue to giggle about their plans for the weekend 3. Not follow up on things the patient asks about. I work as a veterinary nurse and I could absolutely never imagine treating clients or patients the way this hospital treats theirs. Very disappointing.
Inna Kreychman: my father, 92 years old, entered the hospital on February 2 after a fall and this was the beginning of his death. they didn't let me in. no one called me even though I asked because he didn't speak English and didn't know the names of his medicines. he had parkinsonism and was not given the exact dose of his medications, which subsequently led to a failure of the whole organism. he died a week later. I did not think that in the hospital they would treat an old man so indifferently

Brigham and Women's Hospital Emergency Room: what do users think?
Julia Anderson: Unknowledgeable staff with no idea how to properly assess a patient.I went here due to an open cut, and a referral from urgent care specifically asking for a hand specialist to rule out any flexor tendon damage. The PA Kelly sent me home after giving me one stitch on the skin level, she told me that I could return to work immediately and saying the cut wasn’t deep or bad at all.Turns out I had two flexor tendons cut. And needed surgery to fix them.Go to Tufts Hospital instead, the staff there is far more competent.
Arlene Lara: THE WORST PLACE TO GO ! DON’T EVEN GOThey have no type of respect for their Patients ! They literally laughed in my face. I left after a 5+ hour wait and they did not care. People who came after me will go in and leave and when I complained about it all i got was that the hospital was busy. That’s a force. People go to emergency room for help. TRUST ME DO NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM HERE.
PsychoDad39: This is perhaps the WORST place you could ever be. I'd never go back to this place, I'd prefer any other place. We went last night around 9pm and we went back home around 7am. The nurse checked my wife's vitals twice and was telling patients if they wanted to go home, because she didn't know the time a doctor would be able to see her. Other patients were throwing up, coughing, etc. Many patients left because they couldn't wait 8 hours plus. Once inside the nurses and doctors were very nice, but the wait it unbearable. Do Not Go to this place.
Angel R Torres: Came to this place January Friday the 13th 2023 at 6:30pm is now Saturday January 14th at 8:30am and still waiting don’t do it to your selves urgent care is a better option they don’t care about you in this ER
Joshua Smith: I’m in the ED now with my wife who has stage 4 breast cancer. She has a spinal compression fracture and needs an MRI. Been here for 8 hours since 7:30pm and nothing has happened. She in pain in a wheelchair. I thought this is suppose to be one of the best hospital. Short staffed and tons of ill people not getting care in the ED. A woman just almost bled out in the chair right next to me and I had to trouble the staff to call a code to save her. You literally have to be unconscious and visibly near death for any immediate attention. Others have been waiting for 10 hours.
Angela Francis: This was a horrible experience. I was kept in a hallway. I was given an EKG and my breast were exposed to anyone waking in the nurses station, doctors, cleaners, patients, patients visitors you name it. I did not know that this is how they treat people. I feel that I was definitely lied to about the quality of care and what would happen when I got there. So because it that I feel confident that I will not come back to Brigham ER. I felt penalized for having to be in the facility. They were aware of my conditions but showed me that they did not care much to have me in the conditions that they had me in. I was not even allowed to have my ear buds with me in the hallway. YES Brigham you never ever have to worry about seeing me again.
Gregory Murphy: The staff was extremely rude and was on there phones talking to each other about non work related stuff. The wait time was over the top. They are UNacommidating to make your experience somewhat tolerable. Do yourself a favor, and don’t go to BWH. (Also the cafeteria items overcharge and everything’s a ripoff)
Shelly Grignon: As any ER have to wait.
Bradford Hart: Valet parking situation is a nightmare, cars everywhere. Total chaos.
Jason McMorris: Waiting for 5+ hours in massive pain, no communication from staff and no empathy. Go to tufts.
Jen Antkowiak: The staff is incredibly caring and helpful.
Dana M: I was in pain and I got help at Brigham. Behind the scenes, I think they are maxed out and working with limited staff. That is the story at nearly every big-city hospital. Still, your best possible outcome is at Brigham or else go take your one-star reviews and die out on the sidewalk. It took a bit of time to get seen. You got to be patient these days. But I still think they are miracle workers that go mostly underappreciated. I was suffering from intense pain, and they knew exactly what to do. Well done Brigham. I love the place! I just thank the Lord that they are there. Amen.
grace: I came to the ER full on crying and was helped by lovely staff. They were quick and decisive in getting me checked in. From check in to triage was mere milliseconds and I was taken back to a gurney in a matter of minutes. While waiting I was checked in on by some truely caring staff and THEY HAD A BLANKET WARMER FOR NON-STOP WARM BLANKETS. The food was also way better than expected!!!!! Overall a really great place if not for the fact it was the emergency room of a hospital!!!!
Yung Messiah: Went to the ER waited 3 hours. There was 2 crack heads fighting who almost attacked several people. After the 3 hours we asked how much longer they said 5 people were still ahead of us. Wild how disrespectful the nurses are to every single person
eric paquin: This place is literally a joke
Alex Swaisgood: Go somewhere else if you don't want to waste your time. There are better options in the area. They don't seem to care about the patients' quality of care just turning beds as fast as possible.
Peter Bos: Took my 84 yo mom to ER for emergency pain in her stomach and was told there was more than an hour wait just to have someone book her in to ask questions!! thats ridiculous.she could die in that time. jumped in the car qnd went to faulkner hospital and was in a room in 20 minutes. never going to b&w again
stephen rothman: Super
Shankar Hegde: During June 2021, my wife was admitted to the emergency room at 6 am with severe pounding chest pain. Diagnosis (pericarditis) was quick and the treatment was effective. We were gloating to our friends how great the B&W emergency department was.She was admitted again last Monday (May 2, 2022) at 10 am with severe pain around left side of the chest area. We had to wait for two hours until she was seen by a nurse and then a PA. Diagnosis and treatment was very slow; we had to wait for 8 hours to know there is nothing wrong and that she should take Motrin. We were very disappointed with the experience. Why is our experience the second time is so different from the first time? We want someone responsible for the operation to consider our feedback to improve patient experience; a reply would be great as well.
Jessica S.: Bad experience, wish 0 stars was an option. I came in with the same medical complaints as they discharged me with. Even on the discharge paperwork it says to come back if my conditions aren't better. I mentioned this to the doctor and all they had to say was "we could repeat the whole triage process again, in the waiting area". Keep in mind I was already here, admitted, and lost ~20 hours of my life waiting for nothing. I broke down in tears. I always question why Boston, MA is well ranked amongst medical care? I've gotten better service in the middle of no-where America from both ERs & knowledgeable doctors.Extra fun: Doctors in triage were arguing about who will take the blame on a coding patient, right in front of my partner and I. One said he had seniority over a younger female doctor, and will make her take the blame. This place needs institutional restructuring!
Camila Jones: Everyone was so nice and helpful

Boston EMS Headquarters: what do users think?
Katherine O'Connor: DO NOT GET AN AMBULANCE FROM BOSTON EMS. THEY ARE CONSIDERED OUT OF NETWORK FOR ALL INSURANCE PROVIDERS AND YOU WILL END UP PAYING 99% OF THE $1500-2000 BILL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT A MUNICIPAL AMBULANCE AGENCY IS OUT OF NETWORK, BUT IT APPEARS INSURANCE COMPANIES CONTRACT MORE WITH PRIVATE COMPANIES IN MASSACHUSETTS
Kim Pham: Do not use their service as it is very slow & unreliable. I got sick on board, so the crews notified to ground team to get ready to send me to hospital asap. After landing, Logan airport EMS, Border security & state trooper did excellent job on paperwork process. Unfortunately, Boston EMS was so bad as they need 45-55 minutes to arrive to the airport (the distance from Logan airport to Mass General Hospital was only 3.3 miles). If they could not arrive early, they supposed to notify the airport EMS team so my family or Uber/Lyft could bring me to the hospital early. Their worse service delay has caused more risks for me which could make me get stroke, severe sepsis & even death. After that, they sent me a ridiculous bill which charged me $1500 for their bad service.I hope that this review will help a lot of patients be aware of Boston EMS's bad service. Do not use their service unless you are really in
Fadolo: Met Joey and coworkers today , Everyone is~Friendly Respectful
J K: The best in town.
NANI143 DEPINA: I want to Thank You For All You Do💝🛐. It's been tough working in The City of Boston MA. As I can See and Hear. Alfred Copithorn: I had been dealing with severe back pain for about two weeks. I was advised to go to the emergency room, if I started getting weakness in my legs. Having a problem standing up, we decided to call 911. A15 was dispatched to my Charlestown address. When the two EMTs came in, I just knew, I was in good hands. The two of them were women, and boy were they good. I told them my multiple issues. I went from my chair, to their chair, until I got outside. I was then put on the stretcher. Sensitive to my back pain, the ride to Mass. General Hospital is usually rough because of construction. But I could tell, the driver was trying to avoid pot holes and bumps. I know Boston EMS is amongst the best of the best. But I wanted to salute and thank the two EMTs that took care of me. This incident happened on January 27, 2022 approximately 11:00. A15 was the ambulance.
MJ Peters: The medical providers themselves were awesome, but the billing department is a joke.Got a bill from Boston EMS saying that they were refusing to allow my insurance to cover ANY of it. The bill is roughly $1470. My insurance offered to pay a little over $640 for it. For clarification, I am a single, full-time, low wage earner. How does it make ANY sense that Boston EMS would refuse ANY money from my insurance company? It's going to take me even longer to pay off the bill without the assistance.I was told that a state law for low-income individuals allowed me not to pay the bill altogether, but that's a joke. I was told that the unpaid bill would still tank my credit score irregardless. I may have to move because the cost of living is jacked, so having my credit score implode would prevent that from happening.I can't forget the cherry on the cake: their outdated website does not allow for automatic pay set up. I was told I can't, "pay too early or too late in the month," otherwise I get charged a lot of interest. I asked if there was a specific date I could go for, they said maybe the 8th of every month because their own phone technicians weren't sure and the system they used was "kind of" arbitrary?!? How is Boston EMS not losing money over this?
dan preston: Bad service
Emily Kochanek: Slow and unreliable; took 20-25 minutes to pick me up and three calls to 911. Paramedics talked about me literally behind my back as I was waiting to get a room in the hospital. Was made fun of while I was semi coherent. Yelled at my concerned partner. Have no training/common sense/compassion when dealing with someone suffering from an extreme panic attack (I passed out and had tremors).Saint Elizabeth used them for my trip. Please note that the hospital itself was wonderful. But if you can (not sure if even possible), avoid using this ambulance service.
Maria Fernández: X ser el país mas antigua de estados unidos
Scott MacHarrie: As a graduate of the EMS Academy I can't begin to express my gratitude to the staff for an outstanding education. If you're looking for an EMT program apply Boston EMS if you can get in. My thanks to Captain Scarna
Michael Sutnick: Hey Guys and GIrls,I'm a 61 yo male, diabetic, cancer patient, undergoing radiation treatment for throat cancer. Last Saturday night, 7/6, I totally collapsed in the parking lot of Stop and Shop in South Boston. People came over to help. I have no idea who they were and some one called 911. The treatment I got from the EMS people was beyond wonderful. I felt so safe and secure in their hands. This was about 5:30 PM. Keep up the good Work!!Michael SutnickWhitman, Mass
Lynn Carter: Amazing job EMS has done this past week during the horrific Marathon Bombing. Bravo!
John Duggan: I am working in EMS in Ireland and had the fortune to visit the EMS in Boston in the past. I had met up with the Management Team at Boston EMS Headquarters and my experience was one that will last for many years to come for all the right reasons. I had also met up with Jamie and Tony staff reps as well as other members of staff. I would like both on my own behalf and that of my colleagues here in Ireland to pass on our sincere sorrow and thoughts to all the EMS who had to deal with the terrible circumstances of the past few days. Even that few EMS Services would be as capable, our thoughts are never the less with our colleagues and our sympathies are with all does injured and the families of those who lost there lives.

Boston Medical Center: what do users think?
Rick O'Malley: My daughter will be starting her internship here in June, I am more than proud. Great facility!
Cat Banks: My mother is in 7 west such a bad unit the nurse here don't care. If you have family here make sure to visit every day and call status of your loved ones. The nurses hang at nurse station and ignore patients needs. I also worked at this hospital and was treated poorly aswell on this floor when I went to serve patients meals.
Adam Richardson: Horrible customer service. Look at them just sitting there. The nurses do nothing. Worthless hospital. I'd give no money to this place.
Fred Edmondson: One of the best hospitals in the country!!!
dimas villanueva: boston medical center is an embarrasing place for patients to get care the Emergency room is lead by an abnoxious nurse was on shift April 11, 2023 pm hours ..This nurse has no sympathy at all makes patients feel dead rather than sick ..My wife had a very bad case if vomiting and diarrhea was very dehydrated had no strength or energy. This nurse was pushing my wife to walk by herself without assitance without even knowing her medical condition..It's unfortunately to have medical staff like this one working at a very well known hospital in a great city
Alexander Chavarria: La mejor atención y buena calidad humana ❤️
Ivan Szabo: Awful wait times on ER
Muva Teresa: THE WORST HOSPITAL IN THE UNIVERSE! ESPECIALLY THE ENTIRE ICU STAFF! THEY HOLD THE PATIENT HOSTAGE AND MAKE TRANSFERS TO DIFFERENT HOSPITALS DIFFICULT. GET A LAWYER IMMEDIATELY
Lauren Facada: It's no wonder people choose to go through life suffering rather than seek help with the outrageous medical costs we face here in the US.Spoke to an NP at Boston Medical Center last month for one of my children. It was a Telehealth visit for intake, under 60 minutes.1st charge for the physician: $502 (okay, fine)2nd charge "Ancillary Charge": $719Ancillary charge was for the physican prepping the room for her call and using a laptop, according to a Supervisor at Boston Medical Center. I asked them why I wasn't given the option to have the intake appointment in person then, she said the charges would've been the same for the facility fee.Ae you kidding me?! $1,221 to talk to someone for an intake appt via zoom. I am absolutely beside myself. I don't even understand how that's possible. Disgusting.NP was wonderful though!
L L: My mother was admitted at BMC last month. She was in the trauma step down unit 3W. Due to the fact that she is elderly she was mistreated. She did not receive the care that she should have. Stephanie Grogan, the worse doctor in the place, who is a dentist playing doctor let her starve and refused to put a temporary tube to give her nutrition. She became very ill and nearly died. If you are sent there run if they put you in 3W and you are assigned doctor Grogan.
Jeassy Erazo: Emergencia el servicio es terrible deberían de tener otra sala para homeless porque es increíble la atención pesima
Albert Hamilton: I came here for day surgery and everyone was really good. All of the nurses and the doctor were great. The surgery was fine.
Marsi Kokthi: HORRIBLE! The worse hospital that I have ever been, the workers are so irresponsible I don’t know how do they hire them to do absolutely nothing. This place shouldn’t be called hospital so shameful.
B A: Irresponsible worker, I have been going with the same insurance issue for two years. They somehow pulled my insurance and added it to my daughter, and now my daughter's insurance does not cover it. In every bill, I call them, they fix the problem and happen again the same error.
Michael Night: I found my food sitting on top of the dirty laundry ben when I came out the restroom this is a nightmare employees in the hall playing late at night
Ann Scott vidal: They are very unfair in hiring even if you are qualified for the position...grudges are held against that person even if he or she hasn't work for that person....
Perlita Diaz: The doctors here are Amazing, but the staff at the information center and the security’s are HORRIBLE! PLEASE HIRE SOME YOUNGER STAFF at the INFORMATION booth department. I COULDN’T BELIEVE how BAD it was to simply find my dad in this hospital it took a total of 45 MINUTES because the information booth were not competent.
whinehousted33: Either THE worst or one of the worst hospitals in Boston my question is why bother choosing to work in the healthcare field if you don’t or can’t have a decent level of compassion and care for those who are in great need of it ??? Shut this place down smh , like just throw the whole hospital away
Sandra Dawson: Playin in the SNOW AT LUNCHTIME
