Christy: My cousin shaved the bottom half of his head while drunk and we walked into Roosters to see if they could fix it. I can’t remember the guys name, but he did a fantastic job fixing the hair. He also trimmed his beard and it looks great. My cousin was able to get in right away and I appreciate all their kindness and great styles.

Ahmad Abbasi: Went there to get a haircut. Explained to the barber I recently had a bad cut (hair on top cut too short) and that I’m trying to regrow the hair. Just wanted to clean it from the top (even it out). Barber proceeded to cut the top just as short as previous one so that he could “match the previous style.” I didn’t want to match the previous style and that’s what I explained at the beginning of the cut. Anyways, I was still nice to him and the people and tipped well but never going back. If you go, please make sure you explain loudly and with emphasis exactly what you want otherwise it will be done how they see fit.
Jack Volpe: This was my third time using roosters but my first time with Morgan she was very nice and professional she did a amazing job with my face shave we chatted with one of the other barber afterwards everyone was very friendly including the receptionist I would definitely go to this roosters location next time I’m in Boston or any roosters location in the country and definitely recommend it to my family and friends!!!

Michael Reilly: Got a haircut and beard trim from Adrianna, who was top notch. These were for headshots, and the pictures turned out really well. Adrianna used a technique on my hair that she said the hairdresser at the headshots would love and indeed she did (the hairdresser kept raving about how good my haircut was and how easy it was to style). Adrianna worked with me to get the look I wanted. I came prepared with pictures from previous haircuts so she could see what my hair and beard could look like with different styles and she used that to make me look great. Would definitely go back again!Oh, and Covid precautions were also top notch. Very few people, everyone wearing masks, and I only removed my own mask for the beard trim (which felt a little sketchy but it turned out okay and I got a Covid test afterwards that came back negative).Service:Hairstyling
Jared Lowe: I’ve been going to Roosters locations all over the country for over 10 years. I drive out of my way to go because I always get a quality cut and it’s worth the extra money. However, my experience at the Tremont street location in Boston on 2/26 was my worst ever. The lady that cut my hair seemed completely out of it. Not sure if she was on something or if she just hates her job, but it was a really uncomfortable experience for me. Hard to communicate to her what I wanted to have done, and I didn’t even get the full experience with a hot towel or anything. I certainly regret tipping because the experience wasn’t worth it. I’m likely going to have to go to my normal location in Lynnfield to have them fix my hair. Won’t ever be going back to the Boston location!

Chris Bell: I've told Tarik his is the best cut in town; he deserves saying it here. His attention to detail is unmatched. No disrespect to any of the other barbers at Tweed, I'm sure they're great too, but I've never felt so relaxed in a chair as when the work is in Tarik's hands.
Michael Katz: Good cut at reasonable prices. Cash only tipping so don’t forget to bring cash. Lots of different barbers so usually easy to book online and find a time that works for you. Friendly staff and good barber cuts.

Vincent George: Had a great experience in Beacon Hill today with Evan at Boston Barber Co. Stopped in (on a Friday) to check the place out and to see if any appointments might be available. I met Evan, who informed me that they did not have any walk-in openings; however, he suggested that I check for an appointment slot. He directed me to a QR code on the wall, and I was able to make an appointment with him for the same day (just two hours later). I re-arrived for my new appointment a few minutes early and I was promptly directed to the chair. I showed Evan some pictures of my previous haircuts and asked for a few very particular things (I typically like a # 2 undercut with some light fading in at the back of the neck). He took the time to listen to me and check in with me throughout the entire process and encouraged me to be honest at every step. I can say, unequivocally, that this was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had in my life. I plan to be a regular customer. The person who had been cutting my hair for a long time moved to Maine recently; it’s always especially frustrating to try to find a new barber – if you’re in the same situation, consider giving these guys a try. Jeancarlos Ferman: I've been to this location twice. The first time, I got a buzzcut and they left my forehead with clipper cuts which didn't go away for about a week. This time, I asked for a low drop fade. The barber wasn't aware of the style and I showed them a picture. Simply put, I did not get the style I asked for; it wasn't low and it wasn't much of a fade. My friend compared it to a bowl cut. I give them a 2/5 because the staff is nice, the space is welcoming, and they were able to accommodate me as walk-in this time. Went in for a beard trim with razor shave which was $40 to start off…my very good barber in a “fancy” part of Brooklyn charges $35 and works for 20-25 mins shaping and shaving me properly. She barely shaped it and did 100% of the work by hand with clippers…something I could have done myself at home. I mentioned the straight razor and she put gel on my cheeks and just went right in. No hot towel, no cold towel & didn’t do my neck. Won’t be back.

I have curly and wavy hair and his cut always makes me look like a million bucks by building in layers and volume into my hair. If he leaves Z, I'll go to him. He loves giving a scissor cut which in my view is a dying art. Randy Horn: I am proud to say I was one of the first to get a fresh haircut when Belsito opened years ago so I am happy to write after all this time that the service and the atmosphere has only improved since then! I have been seeing Nick for 7+ years and at this point I basically consider him family. He is excellent with scissors and clippers and always finishes with a hot neck shave which is a great finish. However, over the years there have been times I've had my hair cut by other barbers when Nick was away and each barber was masterful! We always share a nice conversation and it is a friendly exchange I look forward to every week and a half. The owner Stephen keeps a watchful eye over the aesthetic of the shop and atmosphere that keeps walk-ins and regulars coming back time and again. Thomas Martellone: I've been going to Belsito Barber shop for my haircuts for over 10 years (went when the staff were at Blade) and I've had Bridaa for a barber for all of that time. Even though I have moved an hour a way, I still go to them and to Bridaa for my haircut. I get a GREAT haircut every single time. Michael Tellman: Ok I just woke up from getting my hair cut yesterday and there is a bloody red cut line all the way around my head - see pic. The first guy said he couldn’t do the photo I showed him, but a second guy said no problem. They were nice guys and I really did appreciate the honesty of the first guy. However now I have to put antibacterial ointment around my head and hope that they keep their instruments clean. If you are getting a simple cut, then I’m sure they are fine. I planned on be there for an hour cut after speaking to the guy on the phone since I have long hair and this is my first haircut in 2 and a half years, but showed up and they said all they have is 30 minutes. I should have trusted my gut and just walked out after they said that. I never write google reviews, but I am especially disappointed now since there is a bloody line all around my head. A bad haircut is one thing, but cutting my scalp is another. I will not be going back.

Staff are very different in terms of speed, but quality seems to be alright.If you care about sports, you'll probably enjoy the shtick a lot more, but for me, I was happy to chat with staff about anything but sports, and they seemed happy about that.
L G: Got here at 3:45. Sign says they close at 5:00. I guess that doesn’t matter, because as soon as I opened the door someone yelled “WE’RE CLOSED!!” Then as soon as I started walking down the steps to the sidewalk, I hear a loud THUNK as the lady dropped the dead bolt and rolled her eyes.Not a good way to do business. This isn’t the only review that lists this as an issue. There are several comments about “We have new management and everything is great now!” Well, apparently things haven’t changed at all. I will NOT be giving this place another chance. I’ve been to several Sport Clips locations in several different states. This was by far the rudest visit. Inexcusable. Period.
Dhaval Dedhia: This is by far the best salon that I have visited in the United States. I was served by Tia once and by Nia the other time. Both of them are amazing and I was completely satisfied with my haircut. The MVP haircut includes a nice hair wash. The staff engages you in a nice conversation while cutting your hair. I'm just gonna visit this place for a haircut from now on.
