All-Fit Tailoring: what do users think?
Kaitlyn Lyngaas: All-Fit Tailoring provided a superb experience for my wedding dress alterations. There was a delay in my dress delivery from the dressmaker, and I didn't have it in my possession until 5 weeks before my wedding. The team at All-Fit was able to turn my dress around quickly and with the highest degree of quality. They explained what the dress needed and what kind of bustle would work best with the design - which, as someone with no knowledge of these things - was very helpful. My dress was perfect and I'm so glad I chose to go with All-Fit. I can't recommend them enough.Service:Wedding gown alterations
Maria Yampolskaya: When I ordered it, my wedding dress was a size or two too large for me. All Fit worked with me to make sure it fit PERFECTLY! My dress came out so beautifully and it looks like it was made for me. Well worth the price!Service:Wedding gown alterations
Gavriel Elkind: There aren't enough stars to express how fantastic All-Fit is! Binh and her incredible team altered four dresses for my family and me for special events. Each dress was altered perfectly, and on tight timelines. Binh was kind, attentive, professional, caring, and invested in how my family members and I felt in our dresses. I can't recommend All-Fit highly enough!Services:Alterations,Dress alterations
Mary Nikolai: Binh was wonderful. She did a fantastic job with my hem, bustle, and straps. She went above and beyond what I hoped for. She is helpful in recommending what is best for your dress. A great experience at All Fit!
Jen Herbert: They were so sweet!! I could tell that they were true experts at their craft, and walked me through every suggestion they had with clarity and good rationale. At my final fitting, they took lots of photos for me to show friends and family, and even recorded a video of instructions on how to do my bustle, which ended up being a breeze to put up on the day-of. Thank you for your beautiful work!Service:Wedding gown alterations
Lauren Yang: Knowledgeable and able to explain a lot of considerations I had no idea went into tailoring a wedding dress!
Thanhthao Huynh: Binh is amazing. Her craftsmanship is superb. Very professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I’ve had my wedding dress altered here at Allfit a while back and she did an amazing job! Had so many compliments and I felt so comfortable and beautiful in it. I came back to Allfit again with my mother-in-law to get some party dresses altered, and again very pleased. Dresses turned out exactly how we wanted, comfortable and welcoming experience, and quick turn around. Glad to have found a seamstress that I’d always go back to and recommend to others!
Rachael Giovanucci: I bought my wedding dress from Ceremony Boston and Binh at All-Fit was recommended to me for alterations. Binh was amazing at every appointment. She is so positive and made my experience so much fun. She is knowledgeable and upfront about all information. I had purchased a pearl belt to attach to my dress. She resized the belt and added it in a place to compliment by body type. She is a true professional. If you need wedding dress alterations go see Binh!Services:Alterations,Formal wear tailoring,Dress alterations,Wedding gown alterations
Lena Carlson Sydness: I was recommended All-Fit Tailoring after buying my wedding dress from a sample sale. Because the dress was purchased from a sample sale it needed a lot of alterations. All-Fit did not disappoint. They were incredibly knowledgeable and made my Claire Pettibone dress look even better on me than I could have imagined. I couldn’t have been happier with how the dress turned out. You definitely get what you pay for. Thank you All-Fit Tailoring!
Jane Suttmeier: If I was a praying woman I would say thank GOD for All Fit. I realized the morning of my flight that my linen pants to my suit were just way too long… like a ridiculous amount of length for any tall person in heels. I had a huge meeting for work the next day. I landed at 6 pm and All Fit closes at 7. They saw me, tried to do a quick fix and didn’t work and said they’d stay late to hem the pants and have them done by 10 am next morning before my meeting.I am from Chicago and let me tell you if I ever move to Boston I will never go anywhere else!!! I am so thankful for their speedy handy work when they clearly are extremely busy. THANK YOU!Service:Alterations
Kelly Wilbur: Won't help local store! Extremely rude!
N Neil: I needed the waist taken in on a pair of pants, a cotton-poly blend. Another paid of pants cotton- the waist taken in. I also had a linen dress where I needed the straps on the shoulders shortened and the sides take in a bit by the waist. For a cost of $290, what I expected and what I received did not match. I get it is wedding and prom season, but they had my clothes from 5/12/22 to 5/31/22 when I came to get them today. The only item that did not have fit issues were the cotton pants.I literally stood there arguing with the woman where she is basically telling me just to wear my clothes in a different way from how I wear it so she did not have to fix it. It was like the work was not done on all the items and they were surprised I showed. I had to push and push for the dress and the pants to get fixed, and basically state that I was not leaving until they were done. The dress was also super wrinkled and linty. It still was not fully fixed when I left, but I was so angry that I was just done and wanted to get out of there. As a tailor, seeking to make sure things are even and clean are basic.I am a size 10 and POC. I am guessing I am not the usual clientele as I mainly see tall lean white women in the area and both times I went into the business itself. I should have just had patience and took them to the dry cleaner's tailor onsite I have gone to before. I would have likely walked out with a finished product for much less money. It is difficult for me to find clothes I like to begin with, so this was not only upsetting, but disappointing. I don't have a ton of money, and I was attempting to keep the clothes I have. I could have gone out and gone shopping instead. I should not have had to fight with someone to do their job or to do it well. Not only that but I was overcharged for bad work! At least if you are going to charge that much, do your job.Save your money! Unless you are getting a gown done for some event, go elsewhere. Not okay. Not at all.Service:Alterations
Alexia Ritter: I went in with a dress and they were so kind and honest, they told me I didn't need it tailored, just to take it down the street to be steamed.
Kaitlin Gee: My first dress didn't come through in time so I needed to scramble for another dress to attend a wedding. Found the dress, but the shoulder straps needed to be shortened (it might be one of the more "simpler" services?). On top of this, I was visiting from the west coast and Boston was my best shot at getting my back-up dress altered to fit in time for the wedding which was taking place in a different New England state. Challenge accepted. We called over the phone first to ask if they'd be able to accommodate this alteration with a quick turnaround time, expressing that we were willing to pay the 100% 48-hour surcharge that is, as of the time of this review, listed on their website and, luckily for us, they did say "yes" (Note: Don't expect them to say "yes" just because you read my review. It was wedding season, so these folks are already swamped with clients, so depending on the level of alteration needed, they can decline if they don't feel they'll have bandwidth to do a suitable job --- which really speaks to how much they value quality work and customer satisfaction). We walked in and found that this little shop is busy and blessed with calm and controlled chaos. Lang and her team were warm, gracious, modest, and handled client stress quite well. It is obvious that this business. is. LOVED. I'm so grateful for All-Fit Tailoring and swear that if I find I need something altered and I happen to need it while in Boston, Lang and the rest of the All-Fit team will easily be my preferred business.
Zach Shepherd: We needed a dress altered on short notice. All-Fit did a great job. Everyone we interacted with behaved professionally, and the alteration seemed to be done well (although I'm not really the right person to judge). They seemed very busy, but took care of the job promptly. We needed to clearly communicate what we needed done and our willingness to pay the fast turn-around service surcharge listed on their website — after that, we were seen same-day.Service:Alterations
Marisa Bono: You will not find a better tailor than Binh anywhere. Binh altered both of my sister’s wedding dresses, my friend’s dress, and both of my bridesmaid dresses. We had an emergency the morning of my sister’s wedding, the steamer I used stained the front of her reception dress. I called Binh as a last resort after trying every dry cleaner in Boston. It was her day off but she took the dress, took the belt off, and cleaned it at her house. When the stain didn’t come out, she took the dress to her shop and used the fabric she cut off the train to sew a new front panel on the dress, sewed the belt back on, pressed the dress, and got it back to the venue in time for the reception. She refused to take any money from me…she is truly INCREDIBLE. There is no one else who would have gone above and beyond like that. She is worth every penny because not only is her work beautiful but she takes the time to get to know and develop a relationship with each client. Thank you, Binh, for saving the day! You have gained customers for life.Service:Alterations
Pan Li: Wouldn’t recommend this tailor to anyone, completely unprofessional and overpriced. I sent my jeans to get them hemmed, the owner was very rude to small customers like me, but super friendly to ppl who come for wedding dresses. When I asked her for advise because I was not sure how long to get it cut. She immediately said, I suggest you to go to other stores because I don’t think I can satisfy you. She did not even try at all! And turned around to serve girls who were trying wedding dresses with her fake and obnoxious smile, I was shocked and went to talk to her to see if she would change her mind. She again told me, “I told you to go somewhere else, I cannot do it for you” without apologizing or feeling bad. She is absolutely the worst tailor that I’ve ever met.
Harrison & Anna Lee: You made our special day perfect! Thank you so Much!!!!!
Christina Bono: If you are looking for wedding dress or any alterations, look no further than All Fit Tailoring. Binh at All Fit tailored 2 wedding dresses for me for my July 3rd wedding. On the day of my wedding, my maid of honor was stemming one of my dresses and the stemmer created a massive stain On the dress. As I was panicking, my maid of honor called Binh from All Fit. Binh was not working that day but instructed my sister to have someone meet her and bring the dress and she would figure it out. In under 3 hours, Binh had cut out the piece that was stained and used a piece of my train that she had cut previously to replace the stained part. If that wasn’t enough, she then drove the dress back to the venue!!! You could not tell, the dress looked absolutely perfect. I know All Fit is a little pricier than some of the other options but you literally cannot beat that kind of service. Both of my dresses came out absolutely perfect. The week of my wedding, one of my dresses was too big because I had lost too much weight and of course Binh had fixed it within 24 hours. I cannot recommend All Fit tailoring enough. I was always able to get a convenient appointment day and time with All Fit and never had to wait once I got there. Binh goes above and beyond and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her!!!Service:Alterations
Jimmy M: Had a terrible experience dropping in for my wife to get some pants hemmed. When we asked for help making sure we measured correctly, the front desk called my wife picky and said they’d rather not do work for picky customers because we’d be unhappy with them when we pick up the pants. It was clear they’re not looking for business from local everyday customers, only the affluent who they can take advantage of
Chris Oakley: Miracle workers.

Newbury Tailoring Co.: what do users think?
Philip Montenigro: Unprofessional. I made a 9 AM appointment and was left standing in the rain for 35 minutes. When I called later I was told sometimes, Carlos, doesnt make his appointments on time. Do not bring your business to such a sloppy shop. They don't respect your time, as is noted in other reviews.Services:Pants alterations,Suit tailoring
D: A friend recommended I get my tailoring done here and I’ve stuck with them since - it’s been about 2 decades. Their service and quality is unmatched. Some of the hardest working people I know. There’s no one else I trust with tailoring. Thank You for always doing your best to meet my needs.
Abigail Lytton-Jean: Carlos = the Zipper King
Julianne DeLuca: I wish I could give them 10 stars!! I can’t recommend newbury tailoring enough. They are beyond wonderful. Thank you for helping me with my wedding dress!!!!Service:Wedding gown alterations
Shena L: I had a dress for a wedding that I needed to get altered to make it bigger and was in a rush (needed it in 3 days). I went to two other tailors who turned me away but when I went to Newbury Tailoring, they made it happen. Not only did they get it done in 2 days, they did an amazing + high quality job, added extra fabric with embroidery that matched the design. 100x will highly recommend!!!Service:Alterations
FakeSpree -PUBG Mobile: Will probably never work with them again super unprofessional.Service:Alterations
Jill Bernstein: Newbury Tailor is the best! I come to them for everything - they are so kind and professional and their work is flawless!
Bryant Narvaez: Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I walked in to get measured for a tux that I’m buying elsewhere and they already knew to ask me for a form (which I had ready) so they can precisely fill it out. The whole process took about 10 minutes. I know where I’ll be going in the future for any tailoring service!!
Joshua Oshiafi: Really nice, well-lighting and organized. My measurement taking went pretty quickly!
Dan McGrail: They were very helpful taking measurements for a wedding.
Syb Boateng: Service:General repairs
M Demers: The staff are so friendly and helpful. Their prices are also competitive, and they get your items done quickly!
Max Tell: Fast and efficient measurements for a suit.
Kathleen Francis: Newbury Tailoring did the fitting for my wedding dress, and they were so great to work with! I was on a short timeline, and the dress ended up needing to be taken in a lot more than I had expected, but they were able to get it all done in time, and were so friendly and helpful every time I went in.
Lisa Liebman: If you’re on a strict timeline and/or want to be able to depend on your clothing fitting correctly the first time, I’d advise against Newbury Tailors. Unless you have a lot of extra free time to make multiple trips to bring back unaltered/incorrectly altered pieces pieces, or to go back for pieces they forgot to give you, I’d avoid this place.I brought 2 dresses, a men’s suit, and 2 pants, all of which needed no major changes. The dress needed to be hemmed (low back pulled up) and the suit/pants needed to be taken in. When I picked up the items, 1 dress wasn’t altered at all (it was seemingly forgotten about, though I was still originally charged for it) and all of the pants were too tight. It seems that the measurements weren’t taken correctly or the tailor didn’t follow directions. Upon pick up I also wasn’t given 1 of the pair of pants at all. To remedy this situation, I checked in with Sonia over text at the front desk who didn’t get back to me for 20 days until I followed up a second time. I brought in another dress to be hemmed, taken in at the neck, and the slit to be heightened, and the 3rd pair of pants that were given back to us late to be corrected. I was given a month alteration time with a pick-up day the day before we were leaving for a wedding out of state. This would have been fine if they were able to follow directions. However, I got a text the day before pickup stating they needed to charge me $50 (which they lessened to $25) to alter the pants because they weren’t brought in within a weeks time and they never noted the slit adjustment. Both of issues were due to the fault of Newbury’s employees, but they decided it was best to punish the customer for their (multiple) mistakes. I asked if the $25 fee could be waived, since both of these issues were due to their errors. Instead, they offered to credit me $150 (the cost of the alterations to the dress) and not do any alterations at all instead of biting the bullet and taking a hit on $25 to keep a long standing customer. Their exact wording was “we can’t do free work and all other customers would be happy to pay the price.” I myself work in customer retention and blaming the customer doesn’t bode well for long standing relationships. To be clear, I voiced that it wasn’t the money that was the issue — it was principle. I advised that it was unfortunate that they felt $25 was worth losing a customer over (a customer that they have had for years — I literally brought my wedding dress to them years ago) but they stuck to their guns. When I went in to pick up my unaltered pieces, they were left in a bag on the front desk which clearly sent the message that they did not think it was worth having a conversation with me.The overall point is that they seem to have trouble completing the basic tasks that a tailor is meant for (like, actually altering the clothing correctly, or at all)… so I’d go elsewhere.Service:Alterations
Alejandro Roberto: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThey were really nice and made my shirt good as new
Maria Beach: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWish I could give 0 stars. Truly. Not only was this the most overpriced tailor I’ve ever used, But it has been Amir a few weeks since I received my items back and the alterations are fumbled/incomplete. What a waste of my time, money, and energy. Spare yourself the disappointment!Service:Alterations

Frank's Custom Tailoring: what do users think?
Jon Hanson: Highly recommend; great service and quality
John Groccia: This place has been around for ever. Great job on heming pants and great customer service.
Andrew Firger: Bill and the folks at Frank's Custom Tailoring have been treating me right for a couple years now. Most recently they outfitted me and my groomsmen with some beautiful tuxedos, at a great price and quality. To date, I have used Frank's for numerous alterations of suits, sport coats, and pants, and have purchased an Italian-made tux, suit, and blazer direct from their racks (which will be tailored to you as part of the deal).Service is top notch - When I needed a black suit ASAP before heading out of town for a funeral, Bill was able to fit and turn a suit around in one hour. I've been consistently pleased with service (6 stars), cost, and quality. Before going to a department store for your next suit, or grabbing a tux at one of those cheap national retailors, I strongly suggest starting at Frank's.Service:Alterations
Jasper van der Hoek: Quality work for reasonable prices with a quick turnaround. I bought my wedding suit from Frank's, Bill was great in helping my find what I was looking for and the tailoring was exactly as I wanted. After that I also got a nice sportscoat and a suit altered here, all just as good.Services:Alterations,Design
Max Sochi: Great place and customer service! Needed a suit for the wedding kind of last minute and they took care of it one day before my flight :) Thanks again
Frank Anes: Quick and affordable. They have been tailoring my suits for 5 years and have never had a complaint.
Damien Bowen: Amazing place to buy custom fit suits in Boston. Last of its kind family owned business. Tailor on site to make sure that your slacks, sports coat and suits fit to your body so perfectly. Amazing place to get a nice suit, tuxedo, slacks or sports jacket. Also they do wedding rentals as well.
Derek McDermott: Worked with Bill and he was great. Easy to talk to and fast and efficient. Knows his stuff and cares about customers.
grayvw63: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueI have been buying suits from Frank’s for over 25 years. I always look and feel great in their suits. Alterations are perfect.Service:Alterations
Dang Van: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueGood experience in this shop. It's in good location, clean and neat. The owner is very nice and friendly, he listened to what my needs and gave me good advices and recommendations. Price is very value with the quality. Highly recommend to anyone looking for suits and men clothing.
Rex McKeon: Bill is very friendly and professional. This is a great place to stop in if you're looking for a great deal on some nice suits.
Amir Meiri: Great service — very personal and honest! Bought a few suits and had some blazers tailored!
Sarah deSouza: I NEVER write reviews.. but I had such an incredible experience that I feel like I have to. They were so nice and listened to exactly what I wanted. He also recommended some custom changes that I didn’t even think of that made my blazer/dress fit that much better. On top of that the price was better than 90% of any other tailor in that area. Also, I was on a time crunch and he got everything done in less than 2 days. All around a great experience and if I ever need anything else tailored I’m coming back again. HIGHLY recommend.
TJ West: Great service and quality Tailoring.
Douglas Babcock: I've been a lawyer in the city for 15 years, and I have gottent a good number of suits over those years. Frank's is the best, the owner is Frank's son and has been selling/altering suits his entire life and his expertise shows in the final product. Do yourself a favor, get your suit here.
B P: Dropped off 3 pairs of pants to be hemmed. Was told it would be a week. Came back 10 days later after leaving work early because of their limited hours, and they couldn’t find my pants. Turned out someone at the shop changed the finish date and added an extra week and half without calling to tell me. What a waste of my time.Edit: See below. They finished the pants the next day, called twice to apologize and then again below, and took half off the total. Very satisfied with the customer service. The initial mistake was unfortunate, but mistakes happen and they made up for it.
Brady Sadler: Always enjoy visiting a long-time multigenerational family business and this does not disappoint. Professional, personal and fair pricing. Nice selection of suits as well. 🙌🏻
Kevin Arora: I used to buy suits from here when I was in the area. The Mantoni suits were the "entry level" suits, but they always were a quality suit. You don't have to buy his suits, but it's worth doing it because his suits with tailoring comes at a great price bundled together. If there's something that you shouldn't do or is not recommended, then Bill is a straight shooter and will tell you what you should be going after. It's a small mom and pop shop in downtown Boston, which is unique because everything else is really commercial/corporate in downtown Boston. You really have to go to New York to get the same experience, but even in New York, you most likely won't find the honesty and down to earth demeanor Bill has. I don't live in the area anymore, and I haven't had a need for new suits lately. This is the place to go if you want a quality suit with good tailoring, but you don't want to pay exorbitant prices at some other tailor shop.
Andrew Flaxman: Frank is an absolute legend. Working to ensure that you look amazing and on a budget. Madeline was willing to order custom sizes, mix and match and work to have tailoring expedited based on my needs. Recommend this place if you need a great look on a budget.
Thomas Hayman: I have purchased several suits here. Quality and price are great. Service is super-efficient and there is no pressure. Highly recommended.
Matt Hagan: These guys are fantastic. Great people and good selection of suits at solid prices. For about $400 you can get a nice suit custom tailored for you within a week or two depending on what time of year. For me they had it available in two days to meet a timeline. Enjoyed the conversations with the staff, for their price range they can't be beat in my opinion.

Bostonian Tailoring: what do users think?
kevin estrela: I know and understand this man is a professional Taylor done it all his life thousands of hours of experience completely get that but my man hit me with an estimate of 84 dollars to replace a zipper on a jacket that I paid 65 bucks for I mean cmon here is it me if so I apologize but that's way out there.
John Feloney: Richard is a diamond in the rough within the Boston-area, high end tailors. As a return customer, I’ve had Richard tailor $2000 suits and formal tuxedos to absolute perfection. He has the vision of what the suit should look like on your body type and executes it to a level that cannot be attained in the VAST majority of Boston-area tailors. Plain and simple, would recommend visiting him before wasting your time and money elsewhere!(Tax attorney, downtown Boston).Services:Alterations,Men's clothing alterations,Coat jacket alterations,Formal wear tailoring,Suit tailoring,Custom made clothing
Matthew Stein: Best tailor in Boston
carolgeny: Excellent!
Blake Lawson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessRichard is amazing! I've worked with Richard twice, once for a blazer and once for a suit. I had fantastic experiences both times. I will certainly come back for all future tailoring.Service:Alterations
Sydney Leroy: Positive:Quality,ResponsivenessReally positive experience! I had my wedding dress hemmed here and he did a great job. I decided to add a simple belt to the dress after having it shortened and he sewed it on free of charge/same day. Highly recommend!Service:Alterations
David Barrientos: Service:AlterationsPositive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Elissa Guerrette Potiris: Richard did a fantastic job hemming my wedding dress. He’s also one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I looked all over for a tailor and ended up going with him and I’m so glad. Price was $124, which seemed to be in line with (if not cheaper than) other places in Boston. He also was willing to see me outside of his regular business hours and turned it around quickly. If you want a skilled, kind, small business owner, I highly recommend choosing him.Service:Alterations
Alex Cardona: Richard is wonderful to work with! He did a great job repairing my coats and got them back to me very quickly!
Kate Shea: I'll never go anywhere else again. Richard is amazing!! He fixed a bridesmaid dress for me this past summer. His work is exceptional, prices are reasonable, and he got it done in an emergency for me. I had taken the dress to get altered at a tailor on the South Shore, just the hem taken up and straps shortened. They decided to add darts to the bust and give the dress a train when altering it?? I picked it up on July 2nd for a wedding on July 6th and I was panicked about getting it altered yet again in time for the wedding. I went to Richard and he showed me where they had taken out the original stitching and what they had changed, then explained every thing he was going to do to fix it. I dropped it off on July 2nd at 5pm, he took all the previous work out, and MET ME AT HIS SHOP AT 7AM THE FOLLOWING DAY so he could measure it on me and fix it. Before he left that same day for vacation!! He was a lifesaver and such a kind man. I can't recommend him or his work enough. Thank you Richard!
Marianna Gil: Got a recommendation from a colleague and could not have been happier! Just needed a button redone and Richard perfectly took care of it right away. Will certainly be back!
Dylan Haddad: Richard is one of the few kind people in this world. Would 100% recommend him. A pro in tailoring.
Lisa McAuliffe: Hands down most accommodating, knowledgeable, experienced, fairly priced tailor in Greater Boston Area. 100% recommend. Richard knows his dresses.
Matthew Strom: Fixed a button for free for me. Was very helpful.
Bkiyin Mango: If you are wealthy or not well informed you'll take your garments here. Perhaps the lady who posted "great prices" is rich. My blouse's sleeves were too long and on their end was a piece of lace. You detach de lace, cut the sleeve and saw the lace. For that I was quoted a whooping $65.00 with the excuse that the stitches weren't in a straight line; therefore, it would be difficult to detach and attach the lace. I took the blouse home and detached the lace which, by the way, was in a straight line. I didn't have the sewing machine that cuts and sews at the same time so I had to take the blouse to another alteration shop who quoted me a little over $17.
Mary Loden: I had a small job, sewing a strap back onto a purse. I went in during lunch hour and the owner was friendly and awesome! He actually fixed it while I waited and even offered to do it for no charge. Of course I paid him for it, but was impressed with his friendliness and energy to take care of it while I waited. I will definitely be back!
Richard Gutierrez: Was visiting Boston on business from California, and the zipper on my jacket broke right before a snow storm rolled in. Called Richard and he was able to replace my zipper carrier in minutes. Saved me from the cold that I am not used to. Thanks so much!
Mike Bravos: Richard is such a nice guy! My jacket got torn near the pocket and he had it fixed the next day. My jacket is like new again! Totally recommended!
Sean McLoughlin: Incredible guy. He does high quality work as well. Most importantly, he has integrity which is a huge win for me. Gets things done when he says he will and at the price he promises.
William Ma: I want to preface this review by saying I normally don't like giving negative reviews. But, given my experience, I cannot in good conscience let anyone go through what I had to go through. If you are like me, you looked online at the reviews because ratings are obviously very important. Obviously Bostonian Tailoring is very highly ranked, so I went and checked it out a few weeks ago. I brought in two pants on a Tuesday and needed some simple alterations and was told that it would be done on next Thursday. Seems a bit of a long wait, but I was like ok. I came back on Thursday, and the pants weren't done. I get it; things happen. So I was like ok, how about I come and pick them up next Thursday. I get there on Thursday, and not only are the pants not done, but he confused my order with someone else. At this point it was getting annoying. He said that he would have my order the next day by 4PM. I arrive at 4:30PM, and he's only started one of my pants. I had to end up coming back after like 20 minutes to finally complete my order. The worst part is, this shows that it wouldn't have taken that long to complete, probably around 30 min or so tops (I mean, I'm not asking to have my pants remade or anything). So apparently my order was not even important enough to spend half a hour doing, even if it was a week after the originally deadline. In short, I suffered the worst tailoring experience and possibly one of the worst service experiences ever. Do not come here.
Maria Hendricks: Richard is a truly skilled professional as well as a terrific individual!

Harsha Swamy: I went to Daniel for a custom tux for my wedding. While I had an idea of what I wanted, Daniel helped me nail down all the details to make sure I got the proper style and fit. He was incredibly thorough and patient in helping me design the tux, and he consistently communicated with me throughout the process. The final product was a hit and exactly what I had envisioned. This was my first suit from Daniel but it definitely won't be my last.Services:Cuffs alterations,Custom made clothing
Dara Behjat: Dan is extremely talented and accommodating. Amazing customer service and quality.
Kenneth Hatfield: These guys are nothing short of exceptional. Not only was the work perfect, but they went above and beyond to get it to me. I needed a tux altered on short notice to accommodate about 50lbs of Pandemic gluttony. When I told them I was in the hospital in Cambridge and couldn't make it in to pick it up, they brought the finished tux to me at the emergency room. You don't get that kind of service anywhere anymore. Unless these guys retire, I'll never get another tailor.
Jonathan Brindley: The absolute best! Cant thank Raymond enough for his help in my "emergency" situation. Was visiting Boston for a wedding, noticed the night before my NJ Tailor preformed botched alterations. When I landed in Boston I called every Tailor in the Boston, being too early no one answered. Around 9am I received a call, it was Raymond, how impressive is that! I jumped in an Uber and sped right over. Raymond and his team were such a big help, they did not let me leave till everything was just right. They saved my day, thanks so much!!Service:Alterations
David Shin: Fantastic work making alterations to some of my new pairs of trousers. Great service and quality of work, would highly recommend.Service:Alterations
Chip Huyett: Best tailor in Boston!
J W: I’ve hired tailors in London, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Bangkok. Daniel’s quality matches the best but his service is simply unequaled.
Michael MacDonald: Hospitality at it's finest!! I met Daniel one night with my brother. From the moment we walked into his store we immediately felt welcome. We hit it off and I had no plan of purchasing anything that night. But he threw a gorgeous blazer on me and that was it. We had great conversation and all got to know each other. I ended up grabbing a couple new jackets and fitted shirt that he tailored along with the jackets. This is your guy that goes above and beyond for his clients. He has become a friend in this process and as far as service and quality, Daniel is the guy!! Trust me on this!

Beauge's Tailoring Alterations: what do users think?
Benjamin Chan: Beauge's is the best place for tailoring and alterations. Fixed the buttons on my chinos and dress pants when they were on its last hinges and stiched up the legs on my pants to good repair. He does great work! Love it as always!
Tory Brigham: Amazing work, super fast and efficient, easy process, well priced and high quality! Also very personable and enjoyable process!
c white: Best tailor in BostonService:Suit tailoring
A McDonald: Pleasant, good prices, great service
Yoshika Sangal: Prompt service and very welcoming!
Allen Feng: Never post these, but felt compelled. Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt so this is based off of 3 experiences of myself and my wife. First, my wife brought in a bride's maid dress to be tailored, (really just hemmed), guaranteed to be done in 2 weeks. Late by 2 weeks. Brought in a pair of pants myself to be hemmed. Supposed to be done in a week, waited 3 weeks for it to finish. Wife recently brought in 2 more pairs of pants to be hemmed. Again late - told to come back in 2 hours (clearly hemming it during that time). One pair comes out with different lengths (1 inch difference) . Says that it's because her legs are different lengths. Did not apologize for any incident.I don't know how he isn't more embarassed about his own lack tailoring skills, laziness, poor customer service, and overall lack of self-awareness or any professional standards.
Jessica Girouard: Had to rebuy a dress for a wedding I was in because the shop closed for 2 weeks without my prior knowledge. When I picked up my dress I was extremely upset and vocal about it, owner claimed had sign out at the time I dropped off dress which was 100 percent not true, nor was I told at the time of drop off that the business would be closed at that time. Instead of being apologetic he turned it on me claiming I did not read the sign (which again, was not posted at the time of my drop off). After looking at past reviews I see this same situation has happened to others.
Michelle Levine: Beauge’s is amazing. He is nice, patient, careful, and quick with turnaround. He always does a great job no matter what kind of clothes I bring in (jeans, slacks, wedding guest dresses)!
Fatimah Alshaikh: Did a perfect job altering my ceremony dress in a short notice. Thank you!
Blake Morell: Beauge is great to work withServices:Alterations,General repairs
Charles Newton: I have lived in Boston for five years now and I can this is the best tailor around (price and quality are unbeatable). The people in there are so happy and this is one of my favorite businesses in the city (that is how likable they are).I have done shirts, pants, jeans, jackets (including a peacoat), t-shirts, and holes/tears in various items (t-shirts, athletic gear, etc.). Perfection every time.Services:Alterations,General repairs
Samuel Leroy-Melamed: Beauge is the man! I've been using him as a tailor for most of my adult life. The location is incredibly convenient. Beauge himself couldn't possibly be a nicer guy. Extra points for always having sports on the television while you're hanging out. Quick turnaround, and great hours (open until 3p on Saturdays).Service:Alterations
Eamon Kelly Graves: Fantastic work, but could be better with scheduling and details. Make sure you call before picking up.
Travis Carbonneau: Quick turnaround! Amazing staff!
Noah Fisher: They nailed it! I’ll be back when the need arises.Service:Alterations
Sayed Mousawi: Perfect fit suit #1 so far
AMH: Best wedding dress tailor in Boston! I was blown away at his skills. My dress had very intricate details and he did a wonderful job.
C B: Services:Design,AlterationsPositive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness
Brenda Kim: The only tailor in Boston I trust. A true hidden gem near Downtown Crossing. Always professional, kind and fair.
Kristi Hoagland: I’ve taken 2 bridesmaids dresses here and they have done a fantastic job both times! Highly recommend!
