Alan was so welcoming and thoughtful to me (in the grand, objective-ish scheme of things I'm not a big buyer), and also kind and engaging to my little boy in tow (1 yo). For those who admire the best of craft and brand-less design, block off an hour of time to move move slowly and find something special. I'll be back!

Dylan Hicks: I had the most incredible experience at Injeanius. I have had a pair of jeans for years that I loved. They have recently gotten to the point where they were so well loved and beaten up that I couldn’t wear them anymore. I was struggling to find a comparable pair as they were discontinued and no longer in production. I brought the pair to Injeanius and asked the sales clerk if she would be able to help me find something similar. She was able to pull numerous fits and styles that were similar to the pit I had brought in until we were able to find an exact match. The customer service was unparalleled and genuinely one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have ever had. I will absolutely be returning to Injeanius for my denim needs in the future.

Martin John: I ordered and paid for a pair of expensive Alden boots from NRO's online store in 2017 from overseas. The boots never arrived. I contacted NRO persistently by phone and email for weeks for a shipping update to little/no effect. I even contacted the manufacturer, Alden, which is based in Massachusetts, who said they weren't aware of my order from NRO. So I asked for a refund from NRO. The refund never arrived. The owner eventually emailed me back saying they had refunded me, which wasn't true (nothing in my account). When I asked them for proof that they'd refunded me, they claimed that because they did bulk billing they couldn't locate proof of an individual's refund. Regardless of this the money never arrived from NRO, leaving me with no boots and no money back. How can NRO's accounts department not be able to locate an individual transaction? They asked for all my details on purchase. One star is one star too many for this company.
bram Robinson: Like many people on here....Jason owes me over $1000 for a shipment of accessories sent to him 3 years ago. He gave me $100 checks every few months for a while but I have not even broke even. I don't know how they can live with themselves stealing from so many people. I have retail stores and do wholesale and I wouldn't be able to sleep at night taking advantage of so many people on both the customer side, and vendor side....they did reach out and after 3 years haven’t even paid half and not communicated anymore.
Jimmy Dominkewicz: They do NOT pay their vendors. I am the owner of Men's Accessory company, and made the mistake of doing two separate Trunk Shows at NRO. I spent two separate weekends during the Holiday season and gave them a considerable amount of my time. After a great deal of frustration I decided to ask other brands about their experiences and sure enough they said the same thing. I don't normally leave reviews, but hopefully folks will read this (in addition to the countless other 1 star reviews) and think twice before shopping here.
Andrew Ottaway: Do not order from this company. I ordered boots from NRO in January, 2017. They still have not shipped as of October 2017. They repeatedly said that the boots would ship, but have now stopped responding, despite a Better Business Bureau complaint.

Kara Brown: Beware!!!! I've been a NRO customer since their first store on Charles Street and make a sincere effort to support local Boston shops. Silly me. I placed a simple Patagonia online order in August. By December, I still had not received the order. I called, emailed, and left dozens of messages. Sometimes they responded- saying my order was "shipping that week"--other times they ignored my communication altogether. Once I finally received my order four months later, I realized they sent me several incorrect items. And, it was long past Patagonia fleece season. Through the whole process, I barely got an apology. They sell goods that can be easily found elsewhere. Take your business to a store that appreciates their customers (and doesn't steal your money).
James Wagner: I understand why this store has a Boston BBB rating of "F", n the future I will check before I purchase. When a store can't ship an item it's often because they don't pay their suppliers. I will be contacting Patagonia about this firm.

I received emails indicating that my order status had changed to "awaiting shipment" two weeks ago. Then nothing.I sent two emails asking about the status of these orders, but have not received a reply. I called the phone number on the site, and it says it has been disconnected. Now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company and shop for new gifts for Christmas at the last minute. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
David Basile: I placed an order on and have been calling multiple times I have left messages, I have emailed customer service, not once have I received a email or phone call back,it is impossible to speak to anyone on the phone as every time i called and wanted to speak to someone on the phone, it directs me to voice mail, worst customer service I have ever experienced. Taylor McClure-Skelton: Return policy only for store credit. No refunds. I purchased a shirt (large) as a gift and needed to exchange for a different size (medium). They only had the medium in their Wellesley store which I was told I had to pay for before they shipped to the Charles Street store. When I went in to return the large and pick up the medium, I was told that they do not issue refunds, only store credits. After being forced to buy the medium before they sent it to Charles Street, I now had two shirts (under the impression that I could simply return the large for a refund) and was told that the owner's policy is not to issue refunds even within a standard return window/with receipt.

Molly Brogan: I had a great experience in NRO's Wellesley shop today! It was finally a beautiful day, and I decided I needed a few new pieces to freshen up my spring wardrobe. The store manager was super cheerful and very attentive to me when I was in the fitting room, always checking in to see if I needed new sizes. She seemed extremely knowledgeable about all of the different brands they carry and was great at suggesting pieces I wouldn't have picked out otherwise. She made me feel very comfortable. All and all I ended up getting a few DVF items and a Nanette Lepore top! I also found parking right on Central Street (score!). Will definitely be visiting again, and I heard they just opened a new kids store up the street.

I have now completed 3 transactions in the last 2 months with the website and had nothing but prompt and courteous service.First item purchased was a women's Barbour Bedale. NRO was having a very good sale (like 40% off) and I decided to take the risk and order with my amex as I was protected if something went wrong. The jacket came in 10 days (not horrid for free shipping). But it did come exactly as described and in proper packaging. The Jacket was made in the UK (many Barbour jackets sold online and through retailers like Jcrew are made in Malaysia) and the GF loved it.Second transaction was an online gift card, was able to purchase $200 in credit for $100. Again, made the purchase, received the credit promptly and was able to use without issue.Last purchase was a Men's Barbour in Rustic Brown. Was able to order and get 25% off with a flash sale code and use my gift card with double value. The jacket was 50% off, it came in 2 days and again was made in the UK unlike many other Barbour jackets.Their online portal is easy to use, gives prompt updates and when I called to ask a question I was given polite service.While I appreciate that this business may have had troubles in the past or hick-ups, my experience online has been nothing but consistently great.An honest 5 stars.

If they had any sense at all, they'd shut down their e-commerce site immediately because all they're doing is damaging the reputation of their brick & mortar locations.I ordered items 45 days ago and still haven't received. My online account says "awaiting payment" even though I paid with credit card. And they haven't responded to any of the three messages I've sent over the past week.
Shawn Christ: I am not familiar with these brick-and-mortar stores but placed my first online order a few weeks ago through the NRO website. It took me three weeks to receive my order. I contacted the company 3 or 4 times via website message to check on the status and they did respond, but only vaguely. They do offer sales with some very good deals. I would suggest you only order if you are not in a hurry and you have a great deal of patience. I do believe most people eventually receive their orders. This seems to be a legitimate company that unfortunately does a very poor job with online sales.

Arturo: An employee straight up stole my shoes. I ordered online and it came from this store. Now, I work in shipping for a living so I know exactly how this scheme works and exactly what happened but the company won't admit to it and probably wont fire the person who did it.The order was supposed to arrive to me 2 days after it was placed. The tracking says a shipping label was created, and 2 weeks later it never updated. The other employees at the store are telling me they shipped it out while FedEx is telling me they never received it. Do you know what that means? I know exactly what it means.It means someone processed my order, created the shipping label, put my shoes in the box with the shipping label and marked the order as shipped. They then either took the box home with them, or took my shoes out of the box and sold them to another customer. That is literally the ONLY way to lose a package between label creation and FedEx pickup.Their customer support is absolutely useless. They take 3 days to respond and tell you something you already knew. There is no chat feature on their website, just an annoying, useless bot. The only way to get an answer today, is to call and sit on hold for 2 hours. You can tell they are lazy because they wont do the bare minimum for you. They could have asked the shipper directly, checked the cameras, contacted FedEx with proof that they shipped it.... Literally anything. These people suck.

celio gouvea: I bought a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses for $160 from Macy's, but unfortunately, one of the lenses broke in less than 20 days. When I took them back to Macy's, they quoted me almost the same price as a new pair to have them repaired. To make matters worse, there was no warranty to cover the damage, and I am extremely disappointed with the situation. The salesperson in the store was unhelpful and seemed to avoid me. I have decided that I will not purchase Ray-Ban sunglasses again, as even my cheaper $20 glasses have lasted longer than this.
