Although there was more reviews elsewhere, I felt like Boston microblading would be the best place for me to get my eyebrows done at. The reason being so is because other places had different types of services and not just specialized in one area. Their overall reviews were high, but partially due to other services that were rendered. I went through every store's Instagram photos, hoping to get a feel for what I want. It seems that Boston microblading was the best bet due to it's diversity of clients and it seems that the brows were drawn specifically to help bring out the features of the clients face. That's what I wanted.My first impression at Boston microblading was that this place was extremely grandiose, even though the place is small. The waiting area felt very relaxing and cute. The store is well designed, the place is very clean, and it felt very welcoming. I definitely did not feel out of place at all.Shania sat me down during my first visit and we talked about my brows. My eyebrows were done by an unprofessional a few years back, and it finally faded enough to do a new shape over it. She took pictures of my brows and showed me the leftover strokes from my previous work, pointing out that it wasn't done correctly and how it affected the way my face looked. Although it was a challenge for her, she explained to me what she could and couldn't do. She made me felt at ease and comfortable to go forward. She didn't treat it as if I was another customer and that she can do what ever she wants to get it over with. I definitely feel the professionalism, the passion to do this work, and how much she cares for her customers.She explained the process to me in a very pleasant manner, her sanitary process, etc. When it comes to shaping my brows, she drew my brows in with a pencil stroke by stroke, and asked if the shape was what I wanted before starting the whole process. As I laid down, she went over the steps and what I probably would feel during the process. She understands the discomfort of the process (could be some pain from blade/needle or from feeling a bit claustrophic) and told me in advance if I needed to take a break, just let her know.My experience with Shania was beyond amazing. I don't think I've ever had such great service in my life. Well it's definitely better than my previous experience. Once Shania was done, she had me sit up and double, triple, even quadruple check her work. Making sure there's no missing strokes, making sure the shape is even, and kept offering to have me look at the mirror to see if she's missing anything. She was such a perfectionist. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. My brows were my life!The same day after my brows were done, the color was so dark I was a bit worried. So throughout the healing process, I kept in touch with her here and there, and she was happy to assure me that the shape and the color will be better after a few weeks and to trust the process. If there was anything that wasn't perfect, the touch up will definitely cover it. I did, and no doubt it turned out so pretty!!!!! I had so many compliments. My friends loved it so much that they booked an appt with her within the few weeks of my healing process.My touch up with her, I pointed out that I actually want a higher arch, and she was able to achieve that for me even though my previous work had made it difficult for her. She spent a lot of time perfecting my eyebrows for me and I can't thank her enough. I'm so happy that I picked this place. I got my first service back in 2020 at Browmuse and had a touch-up a year later (which they canceled on me and it was nearly impossible to get another appointment).A touch-up is a maintenance appointment that this business offers, it is required to maintain your eyebrows, and the cost of a touch-up is 1/3 of the full price. But here is the catch. It’s impossible to schedule the touch-up. They ask you to schedule your touch-up appointment a YEAR ahead and if your life gets in a way of your appointment or they cancel your appointment (that is what happened to me)O WELL, you’ll never get another one. They put you on this mysterious cancellation list and you wait for that magic message they sent out for an open slot. In my case, I happened to notice a message right away and it took me a minute to check my schedule and how many patients I’ll have to reschedule that day just so I can get in to get my touch-up done. I still wasn’t quick enough to get it. “First comes first served” they call it. This means if you have a life and you are not on your phone all the time and have a full calendar you WILL NOT get an appointment. This business is not client oriented. They can’t maintain their current clients instead they keep accepting new clients while existing clients are not able to get an appointment. Remember what I said, in the beginning, an appointment with an existing client will cost 1/3 of the full price that a new client would pay unless you “miss” your touch-up appointment the price for it goes up because the longer you wait the more it costs for a touch-up.You’ll get a good eyebrows once without a chance to maintain them. You’ll be stuck looking for a new place. But new places prefer clients without previous eyebrow tattoos.I gave one star because each star represents part of the business and this business is only good during the first appointment if you don’t mind a dirty bathroom and rude specialist Mila of course. Because they don’t have the rest of the stars that a business of this nature should have. I’m referring to customer service and loyalty to existing customers. This business doesn’t deserve any stars. They have poor planning no customer service, are not professional and do not respect their existing customers.I will not recommend Browmuse and would advise you to do yourself a favor and find another spa that values you as a long-term customer and not a one-time mark.Services:Microblading,Eyebrow tattooing

Chelsey Pine: I came to Prettyology for Microblading in October 2018 and have been very happy with my results! I was terrified at first because it's a permanent (or at least semi-permanent) decision, and Brittany did a wonderful job putting me at ease and making ARTWORK of my brows. I wish I got shading during both of my appointments, if I did I think it would have lasted longer. I am probably going to be coming in soon for a touchup. Overall the experience was wonderful. Highly recommend Brittany.The first couple months after the treatment, I had a lot less filling in to do. After the first 6 months, I started filling them in again a little. I am at the 18 month mark (ish) and need to fill them significantly. I think the sun did some damage last summer so make sure you're putting sunblock on them.Note to buyers: You get a consult and 2 treatments. The initial is something like 2 hours, and the follow up is a few months afterward. Make sure you do both...the second one made a huge, positive difference for me. I tipped for both appointments as well, so keep that in mind if you're budgeting.My only general constructive comment is that they seem to run behind in the salon a lot. When I came in for my touch up appointment, I strongly disliked it when the receptionist came into the brow room, TWICE, to inform Brittany that her next client had arrived. Call me crazy, but I don't want my brow artist feeling rushed when she is doing something as permanent as tattooing my brows.EDIT 2/18/20: Updated from 4 to 5 stars within 24 hours of posting my initial review because of how the client team responded to my feedback! Within hours, the owner emailed me and introduced me to the location manager, Lisa. I wasn't expecting any outreach and they were awesome!!! I spoke with Lisa and had a great conversation about the actions they're focused on to improve the client experience. Thank you Prettyology and I look forward to my next appointment! :)

My eyes were red and swollen. She never opened my emails or returned them. When I called, she refused to call me back. She is arrogant and offers no support with questions or concernes. I asked her in my consultation if I would be able to communicate with her for questions. If she had told me the truth, I NEVER WOULD HAVE USED PRETTYOLOGY. SHAME ON THEM! Thumbs down!

Gina Flynn: I had an appointment to fix a bald spot that was on my brows after getting them done in October. I have gotten my eyebrows done at Prettyology for 3.5 years and for some reason, after my last touch up, I had a bald spot on the tail.I left work early to make my appointment time of 7 pm and I sat in my car for an hour getting into Boston. My GPS read 6:58, and I had already prepaid for a parking spot. I called to inform the girls that I was running ten minutes late. At first the girl at the desk said she had to check with the technician to see if she could take me ten minutes late. She called back to say she couldn’t and I’d need to reschedule. When I pushed back because I was now entering Boston, the girl said she was going to call the other customer with an appointment to see if she could come in earlier. At this point, on the third phone call back, the girl at the desk told me I could not be seen tonight. I was told that wasn’t enough time, because parking “can take a long time”. I understand that appointments are meant to stay on schedule, however, this is such horrific customer service. I don’t understand how the team couldn’t have made this work. Even if it meant staying ten extra minutes. They are open until 8pm on Thursdays. I was due to arrive before 7 and needed a few minutes to park. By the time I got the phone call to not come, I was in Boston. Now I had to head home in rush over traffic and sit in traffic for another hour. To say I am disappointed in this company is an understatement. I canceled all upcoming appointments here. I will not be returning and am extremely disappointed in the customer service I've received after being a customer for 3.5 years.**Update: nearly a week later and no one has reached out to me, as noted below. I also sent an email and haven’t received a reply to that either. That’s fine, I don’t want anything because I won’t be returning, but is just proof of a terrible customer experience.**
