I did however receive the following THREE (seems pretty light for a company that boasts working with top names in the kids industry) casting calls: ‘looking for family’s of 5’, ‘looking for a child in a wheelchair’, ‘looking for an adult male 300lbs+’. We are none of these things. I also received an email with personal information of another client with dynasty after they mistakenly cc’d me on the email. I made sure to warn the person the email was intended for NOT to go through with their payment.Please, do not waste your time or money with this company. They did absolutely nothing to facilitate any modicum of success for my daughter, and absolutely made fraudulent claims for what to expect when signing with them.

Don’t care about you personally, all about money.4) literally had an email from another guy tell me that Nav said to him “you all are too big for me” and that the meeting ended before it even started.I should have listened to the red flags from the start.Wilhelmina Denver treated me better than this, so I’ve had experience with a professional agency. It’s at the very least unjust to come here rant about personal frustrations.

Within my first few lessons with Stephanie, I competed at the Boston Superkids Modeling competition and placed at the awards ceremony. In that same winter, I competed at the Superkids International Modelling Competition in Los Angeles and was recognized for both modeling and public speaking. Yuhan liu: One of the best decisions I ever made was to join this modeling training program at ETFashion. It was in there I discovered another "me" that I truly appreciate. Back in July , she even had courage and confidence to compete 2018 Show Idol Contest hosted in Guangzhou, China and received Platinum award. LI LI: It's a very professional modelling training place. One year ago, I participated the make up workshop form it on Newbury street. It was very detailed with a lot of explanation on each step, followed up by the hand-on training. The course is very useful for me in the daily life.Afterwards, inspired by the make up course, I attended the intro modeling course instructed by Xin. She is a very professional model and great teacher. She take care of all the students by checking every step that we walk. I like here a lot! I think ETFshaion trained me to be better.It's a great school for you to consider!

Penny: A friend of mine was treated poorly like they were lesser than the people they met with. Casey in particular was super rude both in person and on email. My friend didn't get in but was notified via email in a very lackluster and rude email from them. Perhaps it was discrimination because of the color of their skin but all in all, this is not how you treat anyone in a professional setting. This place is extremely unprofessional in their communication and they did not make anyone feel welcome. My friend felt ostracized and belittled during their meeting and after. You are better off signing somewhere else! They look at people of color differently!

B T: I was notified that Boston Casting was looking for Classic 80’s cars for an up coming Whitney Houston Bio. I have a classic car that fit what they were looking for so I applied back in August of 2021. On November 7th at 10:45 at night I received an email asking me to respond ASAP asking me to drive up to Quincy between 7:30 and 11:30 the next day for a PCR COVID test. If I passed I would receive another email asking for me to bring my classic car for the movie. I was pretty excited and drove to Quincy from Cape Cod in my daily driver (not the classic car) for the COVID test. I received an email the next day (8 November) stating I passed and would be receiving an email with directions. After not receiving an email from Boston Casting all day and evening, I stayed awake until 10:30 waiting for the email and thought they decided not to go with my classic car so I went to bed.On November 9th at 4:30am I woke up and checked my email to find that Boston Casting had sent an email to me at 10:45 pm asking me to be in Newton, MA by 8:15 that morning. Coming from Cape Cod, I immediately started getting ready as well as putting a wardrobe and a “go bag” with amenities as instructed by their email. At 5:30am I prepared my classic car for travel, removed car cover, battery tender and checked fluids as it is a long drive. I drove 2 1/2 hours through traffic (approx 100 miles) to the location. When I checked in I was given another COVID rapid test. After the test I was located by a gentleman who directed me to a lady with an uncaring dismissive attitude. She went on to tell me that they probably wouldn’t be using my car but was told to still get on the bus to go to make up. (FYI though all of this, I was polite through all conversations.) I thought to myself, well it’s still going to be great to be an extra (background) for the movie. I grew up with the Whitney Houston. I was very excited to at least have a chance to be in a movie about her. Soon after getting on the bus I was contacted via my cell phone and asked to get off the bus. I was then told my Rapid COVID test came back positive and I was asked to leave. I said I just took a accurate PCR test less than 18 hours ago and I was negative. (The staff also admitted, as I already knew, that the Rapid tests are 50/50 and unreliable). I asked if they could try one more time and they said sorry, no. I was completely perplexed. They seemed completely unprofessional and uncaring as to the commitment that was made to support their movie. I also missed a day of work for this.I was told when I was leaving that they would give me another PCR test and asked me to swab again and they would send it out. 2 days later I was emailed that the PCR test they gave me was NEGATIVE. Big waste of time and money.Bad experience

Marilyn MC: Boston Casting is where I have had most of my audition training. I have taken classes here and there at BC, but when it comes down to it, you have to audition as many times as you can. You will have very bad auditions days and, some will be good. I have gotten call backs and for me this was a step up. I have auditioned in NYC as well. But BC has been my audition training ground. I took a year and half practicing audition skills with a professional in NYC all by Zoom. I will come back to that class in Jan 2021.If you take a class or training thru BC, don't expect to be given an acting gig. You do need to know how to audition- its a skill. Learn what you canTake those classes and learn. Paying $300 for a class does not entitle you to a job . Casting offices are always on the go. They may strike a small talk with you they may not but, don't take it personal. They are very busy people and they seldom have the time to hold you by the hand.In the beg, I did extra work. Sometimes I got called sometimes I didn't. Don't take it personal. Any extra gig you get remember is NOT about you. You are there to fill the room, that's all. Any speaking part you may get remember is NOT about you. Be prepared as much as you can for your auditions believe me once you are in the room, its a whole different deal.I hope this helps anyone who may be starting out or feels deeply offended by something with BC. They deal with thousands of actors, wanna be actors and those who are queens and kings ( I have met some). Don't take any of it personal. Any mean teacher yes! bring it up to them. I personally, never had any bad experiences with teachers at BC. I used to dislike auditions now I find them interesting and a way to try new things and try to get out of my shell more. Being consistent with my audition skill class for this long has helped me a great deal.Make sure you read the new COVID regulations and get to know the process they have now. Since I live about an hour away, I always had to be there early but most of the auditions are self tape so that's a great help

Anna Butler: I took an acting class in the Fall of 2017 with an older woman. I am STILL traumatized! I did this for fun with a friend. My acting partner was with a young women with broken English. The instructor SCREAMED, YELLED, INSULTED me, and was highly verbally abusive. It completely turned me off from acting. I basically paid $300 to become traumatized! Horrible experience!
