Charlestown Rehearsal Studios: what do users think?
Donovan Jermyn: It's a shame that this place is closing it's doors to musicians. As the last space for rehearsing, it's sad to see. I only hope that they change their mind and don't evict all the artists as planned in June.
Alexandra Lipman: Just another group of greedies looking to profit off of Boston area artists until something more lucrative comes along. Not only are they kicking out all rehearsal tenants, but charged us late fees on rent made on time, and have given no timeline on return of security deposit. Disorganized and deceptive business practices.
Andrew Beaton: DON'T GO HERE, THEY STOLE ALL OF MY EQUIPMENT! OVER 40K WORTH THEY JUST GOT AWAY WITH... THEY WILL STEAL YOUR STUFF IN THE CONTRACT YOU SIGNED ALL OF YOUR STUFF TO THEM APPARENTLY..THEY WONT EVEN LET YOU IN THE BUILDING TO GET YOUR STUFF BACK... THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! OTHER PEOPLE HAD SOME STUFF STOLEN ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS.
Frank Anes: It's convenient, with parking, loading dock and elevator.
Steven Fava: I love coming here to practice with my bands, hear and meet other musicians, as well as practice my drums on my own time :)
Christopher Mcauliffe: My band practices here. I love it.
Herman Blanco: Good 4 Rhymes.
Matt Donovan: Expensive rooms and can get really hot but access is great
Boat “Animation 13 under” Angel: Good facility
Daniel Johnston: Love this place
Peter Holmgren: Best practice space I've ever used. Good size room, just wish it was soundproofed.Safe, secure plenty of parking. Great place to play music.

House of Blues Boston: what do users think?
Elisabeth Noel: Lots of room, 3 bars, and an upstairs. Fast and efficient staff, friendly bartenders and absolutely sick light set up. Sound is super high quality and it's near lots of great convenient parking.
e frizzie: so so so so so so so so SO beautiful! worth your while. the bathrooms are gorgeous aswell. setting makes me wanna bust a move.
Robbie Frost: I've been to a few shows here and it's becoming one of my favorite venues. The floor is great, with nice spots on either side to lean against a rail or pillar. The box seats are a really nice experience, very comfortable and a killer view.
MA: I would just like to give Jenn aka Big Mama a huge shout out. My friend had diabetes & needed some assistance & she went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you for being a great person & helping when most wouldnt!
Jonathan Keller: It’s a scam. Selling mezzanine floor concert tickets with no view of the stage
Erin Rauch: The place is great! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Big enough for lots of people but didn’t feel overly crowded. My only complaint is that when were were leaving, my husband and son had nice big cups of ice water with them that they were given at the concessions, which was nice to have after being in a slightly crowded room cheering and singing along to the music. The first person at the exit said as long as it was just water it was fine to bring them. The lady we saw next just grabbed them from my husband and son and said we couldn’t have them. Didn’t even give us a chance to say anything. Really rubbed us the wrong way as it could have been handled much better. We’ll only be back if it’s an epic show.
Carolyn Turner: Barely of age “security” girls who look like they have never had a sip of alcohol, itching to kick people out. Shame on you
Ayan Chatterjee: Saw a lot of rock and metal musicians here: Slash, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Jason Bonham, Spiritbox, Intervals, After the burial, to name a few. The sound system is decent. Sometimes the vocals aren't properly balanced.
Lawrence Hernandez (Larry): as most reviews say try to get the floor tickets if you can try to go early to get the railing on the other floors. I got the floor tickets and was great for me. just remember floor best if not get there early for the rail.
Ben Wiener: They way oversold this show. I'm pretty tall and it was impossible to see.
Josi Araújo: Recentemente fui ao show de Djavan e gostei muito do lugar. Organizado, limpo, staff gentil. Nada a reclamar!
Natalie Cunningham: Terrible experience. I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The manager was extremely disrespectful when he came over to our table holding my ID in his hand after our waitress carded my friends & I after we placed our drink order. He had bent my license almost completely in half, claiming that “other licenses don’t do this” and “they aren’t supposed to bend this much.” He had to forcefully bend my license an extreme amount, just to try to prove some kind of point. To me, this was completely uncalled for. I’m 25 years old and was dressed very conservatively. By no means do I look like an underaged teen trying to use a fake ID. Now, I’m going to have to go out of my way & pay money out of my pocket to fix my license due to the idiotic actions caused by the manager. On top of that, both himself & the waitress did not offer any sort of compensation whatsoever. No sense of sympathy. 0/10 will not be coming back here.
Jamal Gaston: Wezzy f baby
Kristina Kowalik: Intimate venue. Was great!
John Caruso: Awesome venue!
John Kelley: Venue staff are 10/10. I hope they enjoyed hosting Infected mushroom.
Елена Кара: Always a pleasure to come for concert!
Antwan Baldwin: Food was great along with drinks. Lil Wayne concert 🔥🔥🔥
brian trivitt: House of rules
Trie Michaud: As a short person, if you don’t get there early to get rail space you should just leave if you were hoping to actually see the live band.
Shamika Blunt: Such a dope vibe! You have to visit the Foundation Room. It's a restaurant lounge connected to the venue. OMG!!!

Bristol Recording and Voice Studios: what do users think?
Super Tong: Professional studio, highly recommend!!!
Gregory Arney: Happy with the work I did in the vocal booth. Thanks guys!
Kiara Mark: This studio is incredible! I've been going there for over 2 years now and they offer a variety of services. If you're looking to get into the music industry or just better yourself if you're already in it make sure you check out Bristol Studios!
Jillian Ross: I’ve been working with Bristol since 2011. Their techniques are precise and they work. Since joining I have had 3 industry auditions with The Voice, have had one on one studio and writing time with Ric and Chris, my music has been put on Spotify, Apple Music, and all the other platforms, and my music has been listened to by industry professionals.During COVID I was able to learn about producing and audio engineering all through Zoom. Every dime I’ve spent here has been worth it. Can’t say enough, these guys are honest, professional, and genuinely want you to succeed. Love them!!
Griffin Rodes: this studio has to be my favorite one so far. I ended up doing the production program they offered and I will say that it was probably the most detailed and helpful program I have signed up for in my life. chris in particular has helped me out in so many ways with my craft that I now feel like I can enter the music industry with success!
The Gabino C. Family Entertainment.: Absolutely love Bristol Studios I actually Finished my First solo Album at Bristols studios and I was Nominated for two underground latino Hip Hop and Reggaeton Awards and now Determined to finish second Album just finished three more tracks for my second album Gabino De Todo Un Poco The New Arrival. Will be on Itunes Summer 2020 12 tracks Hip Hop R@b and Reggaeton.
Hardy Cherenfant: I've came to their facilities for numerous reasons. The vocal classes are great. The audio engineers are great. The Audio engineering course is taught on a hands on approach, no class room. The only weird ritual is when they take your card for payment, they won't return it in your hand.
Scotch Tape 6 Pack: Interesting that I am a voice doppleganger of Rob Halford and definitely going back to take voice lessons at Bristol Studios this time with a heavy metal voice coach. I have been to 47 states and Sweden 5 times on a shoestring budget. I have been bored and got out my iphone and was singing along with Judas Priest on Youtube and I would like to see how the voice patterns match. There is more below the surface about my comment and about the irony in history. I think that Rob Halford has the best vocals. I tried singing contemporary but I couldn't put in the nuances as much as I tried/attempted and wanted to. I am authoring middle grade fiction and YA for over 10 years. I hope my writing projects go somewhere. My plan is to stay in Boston for 1.3 years and save $60,000 then relocate to Ohio and get into real estate. My YA novel Sammy Marshall and the Phys Ed Blues chronicles the adventures of a teenage boy from Little Rock Arkansas with a musical gift. While on a visit to Nashville he meets Bell and the duo become interested in helping people in surrounding areas with jerks in the community. They make future plans together, Bell is interested in non-degenerative biology/anti-aging research or age reversal. Bell is visiting cousins in Murfreesburough and l from Memphis. Cooper Smythe is Sammy's best friend a thoughtful genius in a working class family. Sammy picks up and leaves high school quarterback and the scene to pursue work in roofing in Nashville while becoming a myserious singer at the Fort and in the countryside. His future plans are chemical engineering but he wants to work in the trades first and high school seems pointless at this point. My cousin Andrew Migliore who runs the HP Lovecraft Film Festival is going to be in Providence this coming week for the film festival Aug 17-19. Mark Migliore played bass and worked in robotics in Dallas in the 1980s and liked bands like Fish Eye Lens and 13th Floor Elevator. I hope to get on better terms with my family. I think a prolific screenwriter from the 70s/80s/90s is my relation they wrote/produced Married with Children where they used their real name and Forrest Gump. I am feeling so energized and inspired listening to Judas Priest and just want to sing along and match the vocal pattern, see the analysis on screen. I have a relative who would like artist management, they're in Texas. We need to bring back better music. I realized I actually tolerate and like popular music of today so long as it's Euro. I like Elle Ella 'La by Kate Ryan, the video is funny because of the airline Ryanair a discount airline to 150+ destinations in Europe. Cascada. Ace of Base. That's all that comes to mind. I like this name Scotch Tape 6 Pack because it is funny and evocative of having a 6 pack and my cousin in Sacramento is Scotch and his mom worked at the FBI out of high school in the 1940s. I have a very interesting family and in order to approach them I need to emerge as an artist and stop being my own underdog so much. Elon Musk likes being his own underdog. I got into life extension and cryonics early on. There is a song about a carwash on youtube. I have a song about the NSA and the carwash it's kind of lame. Priest has the electric eye in the sky song which is really cool because engineers can actually do that. I was at the Arizona State library and a book described satellite imaging through concrete. I'm only using creative talents to help out with more goals I'd like to pursue. I'd like to be a nerd working on satellite imaging. For that matter I don't. Save me song by halford is on as I write this. Cryonics isn't that hard to figure out, not that many experiments have been done. Out of 3 million biomedical researchers in the world there are fewer than 5 working on freezing people low temperature preservation. I've realized most people are wrong when it comes to so much. I like to take supplements. People tell me you get all your nutrients from foods and they Wonderbread. We have circuits in our brains to create sound actually my friend worked in a lab at UCSF on canary songbirds
Kel Moy: i feel like a dweeb. i took lessons here because i met someone at an event held by an scientology group that is opposed to psychotropic medications. the person said they didnt believe anyone has a mental illness. i have finally started taking a supplement that is helping me get up early stop eating so much not feel self conscious and not hold back when talking to people and helping me cognitively. i would like to take more supplements. i have been in numerous psych hospitals when most of the time i was going to just go on vacation. i have decided that i kind of live like a rock star because i like to live like i am on vacation. i can even imitate rob halford oddly enough. my music lessons at bristol studios--i didn't like the warm up too much but it would have been better to have 1 hr lessons singing rather than 30 mins singing, 30 mins instrument. it would have been better to buy a 3/4 guitar and practice. i didn't have the money and a relative was paying for lessons. i noticed that all the songs i enjoy the singers really put some interesting voice sounds into the music that i felt i could not do other than sounding like judas priest. i like the doobie brothers emerson lake and palmer the classics. i have studio time also and will take voice lessons at a different company. it took me this long to realize this. im going to practice. buy a 3/4 guitar and work on my image too. i got a really bad haircut. i recommend this supplement 5htp. my hair is growing faster from the 10000mcg biotin and the fermented rice water. i got to take singer song writer lessons with ric poulin who got many people starts here even taylor swift. yet the place is low key. i really need to make money. i dont mind being a baker for dunkin donuts. i just really want to travel. i want to go from canada to alaska then russia and get to the rest of the world, you can walk to india and the middle east and easily get to africa on a budget. i dont have the credentials to write some book exposing the pharmaceuticals industry so i have to write as someone overcoming the alienation it brings on. we dont get all of our nutrients from our food alone. this is just a review with a little more relatvent information along with my other reviews. everytime i write a google review using a new gmail email address i get invited to be a local tour guide. ive been to 47 states. people in america dont understand me and they try to show off their social skills by just keeping to people who are like them and look too much into body language and clothes. bianca who worked here was really encouraging when i experienced self doubt. i want to write a song about world change. i really liked wind of change by the scorpions when it came out in 1991. the scorpions instantly became my favorite band and i think i encountered the scorpions on the escalator in 1993 at the mirage. there was a guy selling gold rings and then all of a sudden the scorpions where there. klaus meine was wearing sunglasses. and my knee rubbed matthias jabbs. rudolf schenker describes hearing a G&R song blasting in a convertible before joining the scorpions and at that time he knew he should be a rockstar, this is in their book. i was wondering why they weren't being mobbed by fans so i wasn't sure it was them because i thought they should be mobbed by fans. i like to use youtube for social media because you can actually make friends. in all the hours over the years ive spent reading comments on youtube only 2 people kept the conversation going 20+ comments to eachother. I want to write a song kind of about the NSA and how our secrets are known by the government and for what ultimate purpose. i did a recording session with chris but then he intentionally emailed me a bad demo after i already said cut. i dont think i want to work with chris in the future because we dont share the same music preferences and he seems to think there is something wrong with me becasue my guitar playing did not improve in lessons. the other guitar teacher was really kind but didnt have enough students. its next to guitar center
Walker Dopaz: I want to c you
Caleb Butler: I met someone from the studio today and from the explanation he gave it looks like you can really let loose and have a great and educated time. Also the pricing seems proportional and not outrageous like most Boston studios. If you're looking for studio space I would not discount this place. Put this place on your list and check it out!
Megan Waters: This is for the voice lessons. The instructor was great, Brent. He was the bets part of the place. And the only reason for 2 stars. In terms of the actual method, Bristol studio actually made my voice worse. I had never taken lessons before and after 6 months my voice was going hoarse at shows. I took lessons with another instructor who was able to remedy to problem within a month of lessons. I have taken voice lessons for years now with many teachers, so are good some are bad, but Bristol is definitely on the list of the bad one's. As a vocalist, I would avoid it. I have spoken with many teachers and singers that came from Bristol and they all confirmed the same experience I had. I bet their recording programs are pretty good, but I have never taken one so I can't comment on that.
Jon Glasser: “Dan did a great job going over all the material. I found it easy to relate w/ him and bounce ideas and thoughts off of him as well. He went at a good pace where I was able to ask a lot of questions but still retain the new info. I look forward to putting my new knowledge to work in the internship. Also to go more in depth and more hands on.”-Jon Glasser on Production Class 8-26-11
Molly: I was interested in learning about audio engineering and recording when I came across Bristol Studios about a year and a half ago. At that point, I had absolutely no experience in the field. I signed up for all 5 courses, completed them all on my own time and weeks after I finished, I became an intern. Everyday I get to work with and learn from studio professionals! All sorts of people come to Bristol to record all types of music (from rock, pop, a cappella, hip-hop, etc.), so everyday here is different and exciting. If this is something you're interested in, I would definitely give them a call.

Cybersound Recording Studios -Boston: what do users think?
Patrick Fennell: Justin sheriff, does an immaculate job, highly recommend him and this studio!
Cry Medusa: I had called in last minute on impulse, and my first time calling in, I was told I would be contacted back shortly if they would be able to find an engineer to schedule a session for me. Jordan had reached back out a few minutes later & got me a two hour session set up at a time that worked perfectly for me. To make a long story very short and straight to the point, my first time visiting this studio will definitely not be the last, and this will always be my go-to + where I recommend any of my friends visiting the state for music sessions to check out. From start to finish, Jordan made the process enjoyable & the sound I was going for was nearly perfected in a matter of minutes with his familiarity of mixing & mastering vocals. The 2-hour session was extended to 3-hours & I'm sure I will be back here again on a consistent basis. The cost is much more than well-spent here, and entirely justifiable for the results provided.
Swerve Johnson: Jordan the engineer did a good job on my song i was satisfied with the good work
Justin Pearson: If your looking for someone thats creative and can tap in to your sound ..you should deff work with Nick! He got skilz 🔥
Tyree Jones: This is the spot to record anytime you come to boston! Always great results and they stay consistent with it! Check out my guy Malik he gone get you right fasho! He official with it!
Jeff Suav: Slim Kilam killed it on this one! Great session would 10/10 recommend💯
Kay B Official: Great engineering, accommodating and efficient
Jahdiel De Souza: I had a session with Malik the other day, and he was one of the best engineers I’ve ever had. So quick and professional! Had me sounding amazing!
Isabel Muste: Cybersound studios do everything from overdubs to mixing and the engineers and staff are extremely helpful! I highly recommend!!
Naomi Li: Big fan of this studio! You can trust their team to do an amazing job on any project. It was a rly nice facility and environment and the mix sounded awesome. Definitely going back there!
Christie Hunter Arscott: Cybersound was an amazing partner for my audio book. As a first time author and first time narrator, I was so appreciative of the supportive guidance and expertise (with attention to detail) that Justin Sheriff, the audio engineer, provided. Perry, the owner, was responsive and flexible. A great team and a great outcome. I'd highly recommend Cybersound to any author looking to make the pages of a book come alive through an audio recording.
YLN BRVXTON: Jordan was the engineer of one of my sessions and was very professional and got me back my mix sounding perfect! Also, the studio equipment at this location is top-notch for sure. I definitely recommend booking at this location. I will be back.
Justa H: Jordan and Stephon were really cool to work with !
Nick Lancellotti: Cybersound studio is incredibly welcoming and will accommodate every need from voice over work, mixing, to production. The owner and all the engineers/producers are very knowledgeable and will take any project you bring to the next level. Highly recommend cybersound recording studio!!
Gangsta Goddess: Malik(Slim) was awesome to work with my songs came out great, now I can add them to my next album!
Armon: first session with Justin Sheriff today. i will be returning…
Ocean Waters: Had a great session with Justin. He was so professional, friendly, and an overall fun engineer to work with. Will most definitely book again. He's🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥...👌🏾
Christ Dufour cordero: Worked with Jordan and experience was awesome! Took his time with the mixing 👌🏽
Jenny Yi: Amazing engineers and producers! They are professional, time-efficient, friendly, and cooperative. Great studio crew in general :)
Marsha Auguste (Surrealvoice): I like how professional they are. Water is provided if needed. They clean the area in between clients coming through. I respect that the most because mics get spit on while people are singing or rapping. It's on Newbury Street in Boston so finding street parking is tough sometimes. They are quick, record what you need, have have the equipment to do so. There's a piano in the recording room for those who need it.
jane gabbert: Great studio! Modern, top notch equipment& terrific engineers. Thanks Perry & Justin!

Great Scott: what do users think?
Hugh Barry: This place will be missed. Great place to catch the best local bands.
Seth: We'll deeply miss this place. Was truly an absolute gem of a venue and was always a guaranteed good time. Thank you for all the years you've supported the Boston music scene.
Benedetto Papaleo: Was always way too loud on Saturday nights, covers? What's that? I remember IPA's so that's a plus. Local music stuff rah rah
Drew Potenza: Great sound, great Bands
Kevin Humphreys: Great music. Didn't realize it was cash only but prices were good
Cameron *****: Great performers, kinda dingy venue, bouncer is a doof
Tang0 Yankee: Small venue but plays good shows. I went to see Donny Benét and heard both his music and voice clearly.
Andrew Tataronis: Great venue!
Rich Bowman: Best little venue in Boston.
Sarah B: Great little place. Saw an awesome show, had a few drinks. Will definitely be back soon.
Lisa Zelig: Gotta try the $5 comedy nights on Friday. Called The Gas and definitely worth going. Cash only beware.
Ms.5678 Chanel Performancebuild: Incredible experience
Meco Hime: The bands we awesome.
Gavin Klecak: Awesome spot! Have seen a couple shows here, staff is always friendly and there's no bad spot to be (unless you're short, but the sounds still great!)!
Steve Mathieu: Excellent time seeing Harley Poe!
Alisha Wilton: Visited for a band one night, was impressed by the great staff here.Venue itself is a reasonable size for what it is, plenty of room to stand about with a drink in the bar area, and a reasonable amount of room near the stage. Limited seating.Drink prices are what you would expect, with the drinks on tap ranging from £7 to £8.50, not my favourite selection of tap drinks, but they're workable. Bartender was friendly. The venue regularly hosts live bands (tickets required), most of which are good, of not a bit obscure. The staff have the entry process down to a fine art, dealing with the line of people quickly and effectively.Bands have a spot near the entrance to sell their merchandise.A fight happened to break about during the music, and it was dealt with quickly and fairly.Over-all a good experience, I'd recommend this place if a band you like is playing. My only complaint about this place is the grubby toilets.
Albert Lee: Nice intimate venue!
Milojah Milojahstein: Small music venue with a nice bar.
T l: Great venue, great size, good beer selection.
Brian Watson: Easily my favorite intimate concert venue. Cozy and casual, 'old school' feel.
Dan Richards: Great sound for such a small room..Cash only bar cheap beer good times

Foundation Room Boston: what do users think?
karen hines: FUN!
Stephanie Saunders KEY TEAM at COMPASS: So fun to see music in a smaller space. Will be back!
Camilla Henriksen: Amazing atmosphere. Trish, the membership sales manager is incredible.
joey gray: Danehall night was night
Sam M: Great shows, great and unique experience
V L: Went after a late Red Sox game and had a good time. A very small spot but good music and good vibes.
Larry Carter: Awesome find. Good food and drinks and people
Stephanie Williams: The worst!! We went at 5:30 (with reservations) and they tried to sit 4 of us on two couches with a coffee table for dinner. We asked for a regular table and that was clearly a huge imposition (per the hostesses face and reaction when we kindly asked for a regular table). She was kind enough to accommodate us after a “meeting” with the manager (FYI…there were a ton of open tables). Once we were seated it took 20 mins to get our drink order and 40 mins to put in our food order (it was not busy). We ordered dirty martinis and they tasted like a glass of straight olive juice. One hour and 30 mins later we finally got our food…which was not entirely correct. The Mac and cheese tasted freezer burnt (to prove my point it was cold in the middle), the quesadillas tasted like old chicken (and cold in the middle) and the hamburger was completely over cooked. The waitress was nice but never came to check on us. My husband ordered a beer that never came but did show up on the bill. After dinner we thought we would grab a drink at the bar (not sure why) before heading to Fenway for our concert. The bar was not busy but it took at least 25 mins for the bartender to address us. When she asked what we wanted we started to place our order (4 very straight forward drinks) and she made a hand gesture like “yeah yeah what else”….we were so shocked and appalled. Not to mention the entire place smells of incense…like reeks and of it! No wonder this was the only restaurant with reservations available on a concert night! I would rather eat chewed gum off the street than step foot in this place again!
Josh Spivey: Food decent. Drinks meh. Food coming out 10 mins after food, no bueno.
Tammi Granese: Great sound. Hard to get a drink if it's busy.
Seth M: The Foundation Room is really nice in that there's great carpeting, pseudo-ornate chandeliers, a fireplace, and an intimate setting. The decor harkens to a mixture of Victorian, Persian, and Indian themes which is quite interesting, if a bit gaudy. The setback here really is that the bar service is atrocious. Just embarrassingly slow. It's one thing to be short-staffed, but when they're fully staffed they're just slow, inefficient, and bad.
Sam VanKirk: Amazing service and atmosphere!
Amanda Madden: The venue itself is great and a perfect add-on to your show ticket and the drinks are great but I wouldn't recommend eating here. The food is a bit pricey for what you get - though not exorbitant by any stretch - but the quality is subpar. None of the 4 meals or app we ordered were very tasty, and some were just yucky. Lots of much better restaurants at similar price points in the area that won't leave you unsatisfied or with an upset stomach.
Kari Beaulieu: Highly recommend getting access to the foundation room
sean guerin: I work there come and see me
Lamarr English: Love the bar/nightclub before and after concerts. The menu is pretty good and the dj’s in between are pretty cool. Love the classy, upscale vibes while at the bar. Being able to grab a drink 10x faster than folks inside of the venue during concerts is an incredible perk. One of the best parts about going to House of Blues in Boston is enjoying the foundation room.
Michael Zimnock: Fantastic experience, incredible setting that took me by surprise the moment I walked thru the door.
Annie Rabi Bernard: The art and ambiance are unbeatable here. The space has a very indian vibe which I really love and the rugs are so colorful ! The drinks are pretty decent, not too many options but still good.
Jake Cohen: Room was nice service was neat thanks
Nathan Brady Crain: Tons o fun. Fod is a bit pricey.
J Archer: Not VIP at all. Corporate has created a lovely space. Sadly, the local team fails miserably at offering service. Ice water in a cup. This is VIP? And that’s the only water you get. The server doesn’t know what’s on the menu. The bartenders (2) don’t know what spirits are on the shelves behind them and they don’t know cocktails. The manager asked me how it was going and, when I informed him of the above, he claimed it was because I moved, with his assistance, from one sofa to another twelve feet away. Nonsense. Foundation Room is a waste of your money. No one there is going to care if you politely express that you’re uncomfortable or receiving bad service. In fact, you’ll be sorry that you answered their knee-jerk service questions. Avoid!

Brighton Music Hall: what do users think?
Walt Lutter: One of my favorite music halls in Boston. Great sound in such a quirky room.
Richard: Great venue. Smallish but I like this as it allows for an intimate experience. A lot of choices for beverages, plus some water coolers to ensure people do not get dehydrated. Music was not extremely loud, good volume for me
Robin (sunrook): I was here in 2019 when Ensiferum played. It was a Finnish sauna. It somehow got up to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit in there mid January.Went back again Thursday (May 4th) to see Khemmis. They got air conditioning now! And moshing is now banned (great for me because I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. I don't recall it being banned in 2019. Just crowd-surfing). It was nice to be back. The vodka cocktails are great, albeit pricey. Make sure to bring your ID! They check everyone!
Henry Dera: Great venue for an intimate concert. There is prepaid parking available for purchase with concert tickets which is in the cvs parking lot across the street. Otherwise there is street parking around but you have to look for it, may be a walk.Set times are pretty punctual in my experience.
Meredith Fisher: Called at 8 pm and they said tickets were available at the door. Arrived at 9:30 and they wouldn’t let me in as it was “sold out.” While waiting 10 people left. I was solo. Woman fronted band playing l. Women at the door. Solo woman trying to get in. Boooooh. Guys to the front, I guess.
Eric Kalis: April 25th Fishbone show was an all-time gr8 experience. Fun venue, good drinks & beer selection. Cool place!
Richard Coleman: Place was Rockin and had such a great atmosphere we had a awesome night of music,I remember when location was Reillys Pub as a kid I'd go in the bar with my shoeshine kit and charge 25cents a shine, have great memories from both ends of the spectrum .
cprateau: Probably good for local artists with a decent following but way too small for bigger-name bands touring nationally. Place obviously gets oversold for a GA/SRO venue so you can't see the band very well. Also thought the acoustics weren't that great for such a tiny venue.
Nick Olivieri: Fun time
Cesar Ziegler: Awesome place for concerts
Tabitha McMinniman: Very nice venue. Smaller, but nicely spread out. The stage is in a good spot where you can see it from most areas in the venue. Nice speakers. Staff there are nice. Bathrooms were clean. I like the area of this venue because it’s easier accessible by bus and the green line.
Kerry Murphy: Great little venue. Easy to get to, paying for parking ahead was very worth it, and staff was great.
eric francke: Saw Jake wasley rogers.....what a performer. But the venue is just a room that they pack crowd into. Acoustics mediocre.
Joshua Mirôn: Lovely, small, intimate venue with a chill-out area in back
Chip Schlansker: Great experience. Very accommodating for wheelchair accessibility and great atmosphere.
Stephan Gilly: Great venue for shows. Super friendly staff.
Rachel Berger: Caught the Wax Tailor set here tonight, this venue was great! tastefully decorated, reasonably priced drinks, and very good security guards. Someone tried to start a fight with my boyfriend and they were very good about it, removed the problem patron & checked to make sure everyone was safe. Great guys, great set, great venue.
Alyssa Peguero: Don’t pay for parking through ticket master. Just park for free somewhere else. They had no signs or instructions where parking was. Cafuné tickets said the show started at 7 when in reality doors opened at 7. I waited until 7:45 for the show to start then left. I found they were two opening bands coming. I left at 7:45pm. I did not want to stay until 11:00pm on a Sunday. I think everyone should have came out on time or earlier. I would give 1 star but the second star is that it is physically a nice venue. Better off seeing bigger artist or going to an open mic.
Athena Moulopoulos: Pleasantly surprised at the size of this venue! Had a great time!
akari: IM GONNA SEE BKTHERULA ON MARCH 28!!!! IM SO EXICTED 10 MORE DAYS YALL
Robert Wilson: Awesome little venue, very nice inside with 3 bars, pool tables and great shows! Parking isn't too bad if you can grab a spot in the public lot around the corner.

Josef Tallo: Loved it!
raymond brown: Been going here for almost a year now. Great facilities and great prices. They have great gear for recording also!
Christos Karantais: Great place with really affordable rates. Try to drive or Uber all the way there though because I wouldn't recommend walking this area.
Caden Ahmad: Awesome staff, really sweet equipment, I always have fun jamming here!
QCelloWorld: An amazing rehearsal place and very friendly staff.
Sam Diters: What an incredible find. Fully loaded jam rooms with full back lines (kit, amps, PA etc). Very clean and hip, which is rare for practice locations like this. For $15 an hr the value far outweighs the cost.
Brendan Walters: Very cool, place. Not my kinda place to walk to. Uber or drive. Great talent comming outta that place.
Michael McPherson: Amazing place for independent artists to experience label quality equipment.
Dave Jamrog: First time there recently and it’s really refreshing. Cool space to practice, record/mix a project or just chill out for awhile in a groovy art-space. Lots of gear to borrow/use.. still bring my own stuff but a wonderful level-up from the old-style, totally gross music space rental scene of yore. Thanks TRC!! I’ll be back soon..
Jacqueline Savageau: I just recorded I’m Studio and this place is fabulous. Absolutely top notch experience and my second time in a studio environment. Will definitely be coming back ❤️❤️‍🔥
Andres Echeverry: Amazing staff, tremendous spaces and gear!
Billy Mitchell: Super friendly and supportive staff!
Jeffrey Bowen: Love love love. Wish they had more larger rooms.
Gene Kelly: A real professional rehearsal facility that is clean, well lit, well organized and with well-sized rooms. Rooms have amps, mixers, mics, mic stands, drums, etc. plenty of parking too.
Kramer Gibson: Fantastic
Andy Zambrana: don’t usually write reviews, but this is one of the best studios/places i’ve ever been to. the staff are really kind and helpful, the equipment is great, and everything is clean. highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the boston area :)
