When the officer finally appears. he was rude and condescending. Called Boston PD and the officer said he could not verify the ID because it was out of state. The whole thing was ridiculous, how can a police officer not verify an ID from out of state? Chris Shepard: There are a few good, no great cops, in Boston. When I say great, what I mean is, polite, courteous, respectful, most of all! What makes the other cops not so much great, is their clear lack of an ability to be able to discern, villain from a good law abiding citizen! The police that they put down where I live clearly harass people they, "suspect" are breaking the law! If they don't find something the first time, they just keep trying and trying, until they either find some small class z misdemeanor, or they provoke the person into doing something that can be misconstrued as breaking the law! I find that they put the "problem" cops downtown where there are alot of homeless people hanging around, so that when the officer crosses the line, the witness who is being wronged is usually at the bottom of the totem pole. Someone no one care for, the so called dredges of society! If that same cop treated a doctor or a lawyer like that and then complained, there would be hell to pay! So these cops go around taking all their low self esteem issues out on the rejects of society because usually they are over compensating for something, or are generally just a bad person! The cops you see who treat one person ok and the next not so much, they have learned whose rights they can violate and whom they cannot. There is no reasonable explanation anyone can give me for an officer of the law acting in that sort of way TOWARDS ANYONE! Let alone a homeless person or a person struggling with an addiction! But if they stopped arresting people for ridiculous misdemeanors, the jails would be full, people would lose their jobs at the corrections facilities, the courts would shrink in numbers, and the domino affect would trickle down and affect the whole country! Counselors, rehabs, methadone clinics, drug testing facilities, etc... they would all effect the economy! It would be felt even in the regular community that has nothing to do with the judicial system! Because those people who would be out of work wouldn't have all that money to spend on their house, their cars, food, cigs, gas, insurance...etc etc! You get the idea! But are throwing away our civil right s worth just to keep the economy going? I think not!

The first time I arrived, the person on duty did not have the right key to get it for me (even though I had been told it would be available). However I called and arranged a new pickup time and they had it waiting for me.So basically, they're fine. Not great, not terrible. They're like any other government service.

Maha El-khazen: Do not ever call the police if you are in trouble in Brighton. It saddens me that nothing has changed in all these years. When I was 16 I called the police because my stepfather hit me and they did NOTHING even though they clearly saw he was rude and didn’t care that they were there. And now I am 28 and moved back home because my mom wanted me to and hoping things would be different now in his old age. He attacked me and my mom had to hold him back. The second time he did, I pepper sprayed him because I saw his fist coming towards me. He is around 6ft tall and big. I sprayed my mom by accident too because she tried jumping infront of him to PREVENT him from hitting me. I called the police for help and was hiding in the bathroom until they came and it resulted in me getting arrested. I was HIDING from this man. This man also has a record of domestic violence towards my mom. Now I have a record due to these careless police officers that don’t know how to do their job. It disgusts me. I am a hardworking mother with people of substance in my life and would be devastated and embarrassed for anyone to see such a charge.

Bill Le: I came here at least 3 times tried to get a copy of the parking ticket the officer cited me, but oh boy, almost everyone I ran into, I found it was so challenged to talk to. The lady officer at the front desk was not helpful at all. She talked as if I was a criminal. If anyone ever dreamed to become a police officer when they were young (like how I used to), to become a hero who always wants to help innocent resident, you will lose that dream from coming here. What a nightmare because the reality is most of these officers I talked to, they didn't want to help me.Long story short, I legally parked my car before I went on for a vacation, but the next day some construction people did some work on my street and towed my car. They didn't post their sign within the 48 hour notice mark. The office came down cited me a ticket after banging my door without an answer (because I was on vacation duh!). The ticket was blown away from the tow. When I came to the city for a hearing, they denied my hearing request because I didn't have a ticket. They asked me to talk to the officer to get a copy from his book. Now, the police station does not want to help and the ticket is not in the system, I am stuck here suck up the $150 fee from the towing company.How disappointed!

And we have a new born baby, an elder and a toddler at our house. We called the police and they never came I am so disappointed in their services.
