Nick Patlin: those guys are epic! one of the fav places in Boston.Guiness is brilliantly fresh and creamy and thick as it suppose to be.Mussels I took to my Guiness were masterpiece. I wish I had a spoon or something to appreciate every single drop of broath if it 😁I come here irregularly since 2017, never regret 🍺
Rachel McIntosh: Live piano, yummy drinks, and delicious food. They were very accommodating to my gluten and dairy allergy. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable but a bit slow due to the heavy crowd.Dietary restrictions: Great for people with allergies.
Nikoloz Gogilidze: I would have rated this place 5 but unfortunately I tried their whisky sour. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service and great live music. But worst whisky sour ever. If u go there strongly recommend to hang on beer. Oysters are good. Tried burger and was nice as well.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes BPH Burger …More

And the hot lobster roll, sweet potato waffle skillet, and the greens with pomengranite vinigraitte, all worth the wait. Perfect taste, texture, and complimentary to the outstanding beer and spirits offered. Definitely be back.

Yorleny Posada: This place is great! Catherine at the bar is the best, she was really nice and helpful, made suggestions on the menu and recommend us seasonal cocktails. We love it, great service and drinks, good music, nice environment. Definitely going back!

Twitchy: Good place for late night food in downtown Boston. Arriving on a late flight into Boston, there's not a lot of full service restaurant options in the downtown area after 9 pm. At Bostonia Public House we had the hot lobster roll, pasta vongole and fish & chips. The food and service were very good. As an fyi, it does get pretty noisy once the live entertainment starts.
Jerrie Arredondo: Great service, great food.

Stella Lee: Very nice restaurant! Our second time we dined here- and they did not disappoint. Food & service were excellent! I appreciate how they split an appetizer/dish for you to share with another. My only complaint is that the tables are pretty close to each other and you can hear conversations from others.
Eleighna Tate: My husband and I came here on our first year wedding anniversary and were very happy with our entire experience. From our greeting by the hostess, all the way through to the end with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate on our dessert plates. The atmosphere was lovely. The food tasted incredible. We would definitely return.
Alex Zav: This place is good but not shocking. I assume the initial idea was great, but everything spoils careless and cold American service. The stuff was not trained enough to serve in an upscale restaurant. Douglas Arevalo: Reserve a table! This restaurant has a nice, dim, and posh ambiance. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The food was also very delicious. Portions were just right. High-end but you definitely taste the quality. I recommend the truffle Mac and Cheese, light, pasta had great texture, very well balanced ingredients, not over the top cheesey.
Tim Zhang: Overall a great experience.Ordered French Onion Soup and Escargot as appetizers, wine braised short rib as entree. The soup was flavorful and the pastry was hot and puffy with a hint of crispness on the surface. It is one of the best I’ve had in the city. The Escargot was a little bit bland for my taste but nothing wrong with it otherwise. The braised short rib was absolutely wonderful. The meat was cooked to perfection with just correct texture and firmness to pair with rich and fruity Bordelaise. That being said though, I still question the very existence of those two random onion rings that do not contribute much to the dish. Not at all a deal breaker though.Would be happy to visit again for other dishes.

Table Boston: what do users think?
jonathan cunningham: We had such a great experience at Table. Some of the best Italian food Ive had. It is a great concept to eat out of your comfort zone and enjoy a meal with strangers. It was such an awesome experience. So much food that you have to pace yourself. The best meatballs and eggplant I have ever eaten!!
Andrew McQueary: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Dietary restrictions accommodated None of the aboveMore
Joseph Stanganelli: Always awesome-never disappoints. Every course was amazingly good. And we had a great time with strangers/new friends which is what the whole Table family style thing is about.
Niomi M. L. McAllister: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sunday SupperMore
Michelle Ramponi: I can't say enough good things about our experience at Table!! I made a reservation for my husband and I, and two other couples later decided to join us, making their own separate reservations. At the very last minute, I realized that the restaurant may have a pre-made seating plan, as it is designed to be family style at two large tables. Panicked, I e-mailed the day before, requesting that all six of us be seated together. I received an answer promptly from Jen (the chef/owner) herself, and she could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Note to future visitors: they do indeed make a seating plan ahead of time for guests to avoid having to play musical chairs at seating time! The food was absolutely to die for. We went to the Sunday Supper, and every course was better than the last. Don't load up on the bread and roasted garlic, like I did, because you'll most likely be unable to breathe by the last course and have to be rolled out of there. Luckily the to go containers are free flowing throughout the meal, so you can wrap up anything you don't finish. AMAZING! My favorite was the chicken milanese, and it was probably the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was wonderful, drinks served quickly, the atmosphere is amazing, and we will absolutely be back. I even received a very sweet e-mail again from Jen after our visit, checking to ensure we had had a great experience. She did not have to take the time to do that, but this is exactly the kind of thing that makes her small business so extremely successful - great food, great service, and caring about the guests and their experiences!Anybody who leaves a negative review here simply has no idea how restaurants/reservations/cancelation policies work. The website, RESY e-mails and all social media platforms make Table's policies *extremely* clear. Some people just can't read or can't be bothered to, and think the rules don't apply to them. Can't WAIT to go back!
katy crowell: It was very cozy. You share a TABLE! Everyone's food comes out for each course at the same time. I had a Roman drink that was very good. Everything was delicious - from the focaccia bread and roasted garlic to short rib lasagna to the dessert of homemade vanilla ice cream and zeppoles!Recommended dishes Meatballs …More
Casey Robinson: The absurd cancellation policy is absolutely PREDATORY. We were charged a $400+ fee for cancelling 18 hours in advance. But the worst part is there is NO warning of the charge when you go to cancel only when you book. Lodging a formal complaint with the BBB as this restaurant is an absolute sham and the owner’s responses just shows how despicable of restaurant this is. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS
Julian Diaz: Amazing concept; fantastic food. Well worth the price.
Can Inci: This was a pleasant experience overall. There are so many courses that it is impossible not to feel completely full at the end. Make you you arrive hungry. The communal table was warm and cozy, the staff was energetic enthusiastic and helpful, each food item was delicious. The wine and drink selections were of great quality. You will not regret the experience. Quite pricey but worth it.
Lesley Mercer-Medeiros: This is more like 3.5 stars. And this review has nothing to do with their booking or policies - it’s your business, you do you Table rock on. I thought most of the food was good. The tortellini was my favorite. I was shocked to see a review on here that had the same menu as me six months ago - I would think a place like this would be changing their menu more frequently. I think there is better Italian food in the North End - the meatball was completely bland. I love this style of dining, I’ve been to many tasting menu/chefs tables before and I just expected more. I would have love to seen the chef come out, the servers explain the dishes more and interact with the guests. A wine pairing would have been nice as well. It was good, not great.
Karla Alba: I first made a reservation here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday on March 16th. I made a mistake while booking and apparently made a reservation for the same day. I did not receive a confirmation email nor a reminder, so I was caught by utter surprise when I received a call from the host at 7pm that same day asking whether I was planning on attending my reservation from that night. I tried to plead my case and express that I intended to make a reservation for the 16th and not that same night. She continuously said, "sorry, you should've looked at our policies. There is nothing I can do." I did in fact look thoroughly through their policies and agreed to them by providing my banking information. I wouldn't just intentionally make a reservation that will CHARGE ME FULL PRICE of $230 without showing up. I wasn't offered anything over the phone, not even a conversation with the manager all I kept getting was, "sorry that's the policy." The call dropped because I was driving and when I got home at 7:30pm I check my bank account to see the full charge of $230. I tried calling and never received an answer. I called over 15 times, and nothing. I decided to send an apologetic and respectful email (because I was the one who made the mistake) I asked to speak with a manager, I left my phone number, and its been 3 days and still no response.I am not even upset about the policy. I work in the service industry and for a small restaurant, so I GET IT. But what really upsets me is the lack of customer service and regard for their customers. Because at the end of the day, I was still charged $230 for food that I did not receive, which makes me a paying customer. I work damn hard for my money, which I am sure they do to, but for them not even allow me the opportunity to explain my mistake is disappointing. Clearly, they only care to provide services to a specific type of clientele. Their lack of empathy is disheartening and their lack of communication is borderline disrespectful. I was kind, I apologize, I called, I emailed, and still received nothing. They charged me full price for food I did not have the privilege to receive, the least they could've done was respond to my email. Customer service goes a long way.
Andra Atkins: Although the reviews are great, if you use a mobility aid you probably won't make it in the front stairs. I guess with a $50-100 a plate price they may not care, but a ramp over one set of stairs would do wonders for including everyone at the communal tableWheelchair accessibility: Front stairs with no ramp
Cybill: This place scam tourist beware of their tactic to get you off guard and scam you - their food is regular Italian food. There is a tiny paragraph with a cxl charge but still if you cxl they will not honor the 50 percent credit and they charge you full price eg $100 per person even if you do not go to eat for whatever reason - also they do not let you know there is a $100 per person penalty fee if for any reasons you cannot go - logically restaurants will at least give you a warning because they want you to eat their food - that’s hospitality - but this one is they don’t want you to go so they can keep your money - SHAME on THEM and Resi the app that helps to make the reservation , knows about this behavior but let them do this to customers and especially tourists as they are helpless in this area - Keep in mind the chef has also worked in the Media before (don’t know why she is a chef?) she knows how to hire people to write those fake reviews for her !!! Police should close down this place
Javier Rosa: Great Restaurant!!! Five Stars!
Christine Lantry: While in Boston for the weekend, I was sure to do my homework and make reservations at a special Italian restaurant! I picked a winner and got to share in this experience with my daughter. What a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, who were very accommodating with the menu for a vegetarian (me) so I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. Each and every course was unique and different, and delicious… very. The presentation was fantastic as well. We didn’t just go out to eat. We dined! A few photos to share but didn’t take pictures of all the dishes. I guess we were so excited to dig in.
Stacey Furtado: Really, really fun place for a special night out. We went to celebrate my birthday with a party of 6 and it was the perfect way to celebrate. We'll be back again for sure.
Hidden Gem: Great experience for a party of 4. Service was friendly and the environment was very unique and offered a feeling of exclusivity. The wine options were solid and the 7 course meal was delicious. It wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had in the north end but it was one of the most unique experiences. Overall I would definitely recommend for dates and groups of friends. I also am tempted to return for the Sunday brunch
Max .G: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Ana Baptista: We visited Table with a group of 6 friends in one of DECISION EVER, the food and services were incredible. We went for the Seven-Course dinner but we’ll definitely be back for Sunday Supper. Not pictured but the GAMBERI AL LIMONE was beyond this world!Pictured: Sorbetto Allá Frutta, Tortellacci e formaggio, torta al burro formaggio e malanzana!
Cody Ivey: Went here a few months back in 2022. The service was average for the price point in Boston, the atmosphere was great, the presentation was good, but they messed up a food allergy and the flavor of the food was off the mark (when they tried something more ambitious, the combinations didn't work). Maybe this was an off experience because they're one of the higher rated places in Boston, but it was still the experience I had. Good luck!Dietary restrictions: Failed to make sure all dishes were gluten free that night.
Shea Belsky: A one of a kind experience at a one of a kind atmosphere. Family style seating and plating make Table unlike any other dining in the North End. Our servers were superb in every regard, all the food was amazing, and everything was extremely well planned and executed. This is a must visit if you're in the area. The drinks and food were incredible - everything was just the right taste, temperature, or texture. They only seat people at 6 and 8:30 PM, so book a reservation way in advance if you want to come!Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate based on dietary needs. They made separate players with and without certain ingredients for us at no extra charge.

Abe & Louie's: what do users think?
Harrison Ingham: I went here with my fiancé for her birthday dinner because what better than to take your significant other for a nice juicy steak. For years, she and I have been wanting to try a good wagyu closer to our area so I did some research which time and time again pointed me in the direction of Abe & Louie's of Boston Massachusetts so I made the right choice and put in the reservations in which I specified it was her birthday and her first TRUE STEAKHOUSE.After a week of anticipation and not telling her where we were going or what we were doing or why we have to drive to Boston the time had arisen and off to Boston we went. Once we arrived and I gave my name we were immediately treated like royalty and brought to the best 2 seat table in the house. Right in front of a fireplace overlooking the entire dining room and right by the kitchen. We ordered of course, two wagyu beef steaks one of which being the 12oz westholme NY strip from Australia and her order being a striploin from japan. Both were cooked to perfection along with our Brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes not to mention my French onion soup I started off with that was just simply incredible. It was all just so overwhelmingly good, but what really made my night complete was the fact that after not thinking they would do anything other then wish her happy birthday for a 7th time we were getting ready to ask for the bill when our waiter came around the corner with dessert plates and a giant hunk of chocolate cake and ice cream with a candle lit right in the center. To me this was as much of a shock as it was to her and the cherry on the top to a already great experience with perfectly cooked steaks and for all of these reasons on top of a excellent waiter I must give this place a 5/5 AND IS GREATLY RECOMMENDED.
Mark Capolupo: In Boston for business with unplanned stay over. Thought I would make the best of it and enjoy a great steak in my old neighbor hood—delicious as ever, steak cooked to perfection!Very busy and a little noisy, but the food is excellent. I definitely recommend.

David Costanza: Been to a lot of steak places and, in the end A&L was only OK. The main problem is that the steaks themselves, the reason for the place, were average. Nothing bad but nothing great. I've had a dozen or more better steaks in the past few years, often at a half to one quarter of the price. The service was fine but also less attentive than needed while also being more intrusive than necessary. What do I mean? The servers should not have to interrupt a conversation to ask which person gets which dish, especially at a 2-top.The best thing we got was the Brussel sprouts, truly excellent, and the decadent cookie dessert. The rest of the sides were OK as was the selection of by-the-glass wines. Nothing memorable. The prices were high but not out of range for this type of restaurant. That said, at the price we paid ($175/person), and if your main reason for being is steaks, the food and experience have to be superlative and at A&L, they were not.
Mountrell Sharpe: I had the PorterHouse Steak cooked to Perfection Awesome! What I failed to mention I also had the mashed potatoes with garlic and blue cheese A great combination. Also love the cream of spinach with great as well. On another visit I had the bacon cheeseburger medium well Great! Worth the price.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

S W: Classic Boston place. Good solid dinner, steak was perfect as were the drinks. Been coming here for a long time and have sat both inside and out. Never had a bad meal or a bad experience and you never know who you will see when you are here.Parking: You really have to valet or park it somewhere else. No real viable options for on street. 정신영: My husband booked this restaurant for my birthday. Before visit, I looked at the reviews and thought about which menu to order. We ordered the grilled cauliflower, steak frites and Maine mussels and our choice was excellent. But the thing is... If I hadn't been pregnant, I would have had Oyster and wine... 🤤When my husband asked the server to take a picture for me saying it was my birthday and then she happily congratulated me. As we were finishing our meal, the waiter brought us two drinks with a birthday candle. She said "we don't have any dessert, so I prepared a drink. Happy birthday!" Their service was amazing and very thoughtful.A 20% tip is included in the price. They say guests can cancel anytime they want, but we think it's worth it. We will visit here on another special day.

Lily Li: Very pricey and we werent full after...3% "admin" fee and then 20% tip on top, left a bad impression to tack on these extra fees. The food was alright but nothing mindblowing, the steak and frites was $38 but portion of the steak was really small.
Josh Haber: Awesome food. A bit loud, but really great dishes. Loved bluefish dip, clams, halibut, crabcake
Nicholas Armata: Excellent restaurant with a friendly staff. The space was cozy, modern, and much more authentic than those giant boxy restaurants in the seaport. The food was phenomenally flavorful, with a refreshing take on New England seafood and raw bar. The bill was big, but worth every penny.
Elena Shevchenko: Delicious food, creative flavour combinations
Dan DiPaolo: I was initially going to describe it as Neptune West, but the dinner exceeded all expectations! Every dish was remarkably designed and balanced to meet the best flavors of the main seafood on the plate. For instance, I rarely try halibut at a restaurant because of mild flavor, but in this case, the accompaniments brought out a spring-like freshness contrasted with a sauce that had the slightest hint of pepper. With the swordfish, the shallots and potatoes surfaced a touch of earthiness. And so on with everything we tried. Just a wonderful meal. Can't wait to go again.

JoMarie Farrell: A new favorite for me when visiting Boston. I sample three of the daily special oysters and all where flavorful and fresh. We split some mussels and cheviche and had crab cakes and clam flatbread. All loved everything. Service was also to there to check on beverages and take away empty plates. We highly recommend a visit, but make your reservations. It fills up quickly at 6 pm or after.
Jea Kim: Among myriad of oyster bars around the city, Little Whale stands out with its modern series of inspired dishes drawing from Italian and American cuisines.Recently took a visit with my friend to try this new place on Newbury. We started off with a dozen oysters, and as expected, they were extremely fresh and delicious. Out of the six different oysters we tried, our favorite was the beau soleil from New Brunswick. They were the smallest yet were more creamy and sweeter than the ones from Maine and MA. Wrapped in a delicate buttermilk batter, the fried clams were also exceptional. Similar to its sister restaurants, Little Whale’s signature caviar omelette displayed high-low aesthetics that immediately caught our attention. Huge pile of caviar was gorgeous to behold, and it went surprisingly well with the cheesy omelette. Its price tag still did seem excessive, but it was worth the experience. For the entrées, we shared the swordfish and the lobster spaghetti. The swordfish was plain and slightly overcooked, but the lobster spaghetti was delicious. The toasted garlic breadcrumbs added a nice crunchy texture, and the roasted ragu sauce was also on point. While this place probably won’t be my go-to for modern seafood fares in Boston, they still did a great job with creating interesting menus that adhere to their culinary philosophy. Would recommend coming here for some light drinks and appetizers.

Kelsey Alana Brooke Jones: The food and our server were great, but I would not recommend coming for a celebration. I went with my husband for my 30th birthday tonight and we had an 8:30 reservation. We were running 10 min late, and called to verify that was ok and they said it was no problem. When we arrived they said they needed to clean off a table, then 15 min later said the table just paid and it would be another 15 min - we were sat about half an hour after we arrived and I had to put my birthday balloons on the coat check for some reason. It didn’t feel like a celebration with the wait and policy against balloons which are the reasons I wouldn’t recommend for a celebration.

Legal LLC: Not very flavorful food. The vegan version of a pasta was just grainy tasting noodles in bland oil for $45. My table spent over $800 on dinner and most dishes were sub-par. The broccolini was mashed up like baby food. I've never had brocolini served like that. Seemed like standard, flavorless food in tiny portions arbitrarily overpriced. I will not be going back. The hostess, black hair in a braid on April 20th at 6:30pm harassed me as soon as I walked in the door. Very rude. All staff seemed very unhappy to be there.Vegetarian options: No good vegan options. Go elsewhere.Dietary restrictions: Not very accommodating to dietary restrictions.
Mai Lion: Great place for dinner.. food very good .
Marco Giannini: I thought the food was 4.5. Service was 4. And ambiance was around 4. I wouldn’t give this 5 stars. 5 stars are for something that really wows me.

divine Onyeme: Sorellina is a good fine dining option in Boston. Perfect for date nights or special occasions. The atmosphere is formal however, the service and food is of high quality.I enjoyed the Lumache pasta as an appetizer and the chicken and salmon dishes are superb. The sweet point of the meal was definitely the Cioccolato which is a must try. Overall great experience.

Triquita Hicks: Everything about our dining experience at Sorellina was phenomenal! The food was amazing and customer service was top notch! You will throughly enjoy your time there!

Asta: what do users think?
Sebastian Schneider: We have been to Asta multiple times now over the years and it has been a joy every time. Food is fantastic and they always make you feel welcome. I prefer not to eat meat and the vegetarian version of the menu is perfect, you don't feel that you are missing out on anything.Vegetarian options: Can't complain at all, best vegetarian menu I ever had. Sometimes even the omnivores are jealous! Great variety, every time you go something new awaits you!
Lauren Falkowitz: I wish I could give this place 1000 stars. It is literally one of the best restaurants on the planet. I remember reading once in an interview, Chef Alex Crabb saying that his inspiration for cooking was sharing his inner dialogue without saying words - and that’s the perfect way of describing this place. It’s inspired. Every dish is thoughtful, balanced, intricate, and delicious, and you get the sense that you’re getting a peak into the man behind the counter. The service here is top notch too. The sommelier Sheesh is a walking smile, and her vibrant attitude is infectious. She somehow remembers every time you’ve been there and the dishes you’ve eaten. There’s a reason that Asta has a rotating cast of regulars. Once you’ve eaten here, you’ll be back every month to try the new menu.
Anastas Dancha: Delightful, delicious, and exquisite. Albeit, not cheap.Vegetarian options: Vegan month January 2023 set menu did not disappoint.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Neil: I love this place. Me and my sis went for the vegan 9 course menu. Every dish was a new experience, and the wine pairings took it to another level. The people here are so nice! The service is 10/10. I cant wait to go back!!
Shoshanna Alexandra: Surprised and sad to see the less than stellar reviews here, chef Xandy is a gifted culinary genius and if you ever have the honor of tasting the art he creates, lucky you.
Eric Mankin: We had a wonderful dinner here on their tasting menu right before Christmas. There were many highlights, but for me, the lamb was just the best. They had beautiful Christmas trees as well. This is the place if you’re looking for a memorable meal.
Emre Ateş: Best tasting menu I've tried in the Boston area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jess: It was so bad. We spent $600 on spoiled wine, wildly uneventful food, and such wasted servers they could hardly speak. Meant to call for a refund but got busy. Don’t even need the refund anymore. Just need people to know this place is a trash house. Well, it was the one night I went there. But truly if they can get that bad ANY night, are they ever that good? Not in my opinion when there are SO MANY other places to go. I honestly feel a little bad writing this, but this review would’ve saved me so much money and a precious night out with friends visiting from Portland OR for only one night. This was our night. Thankfully we always have fun no matter the circumstances!
Brad Dahms: Innovative menu with a laid-back atmosphere + great service. A unique Boston dining experience.
Anish Asthana: The tasting menu was fantastic. All the dishes and wine pairings were great. Our server was very attentive.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are really good!
Brett Jones: Very fantastic tasting menu with great wine pairings. Left very full and happy!
Jillian McCarty: Want an incredible culinary adventure with an amazing staff and ambiance? Go to Asta! Would recommend over and over and over again.
Christopher Ghadban: Food is good, but portions are too small for me
Callum Davies: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: NoMore
Alexandra Smiley: Warm staff, artful food. Dined alone and felt cared for every second. As a vegan I was accommodated beautifully.
Deepa Khatri: I just wanted to use the washroom, the guy who was incharge on 3/18/22 in the evening just said - sorry we are busy with service. I cannot stand people when they deny the basic service.I did not eat there , i had 2 beers at another bar, all I wanted was to pee but those people did not allow me…Am I ever going to go back ! NEVER !! Customer service is key and they dont have it .
Neal Kumar: Wonderful service.
Voltaire Aquino: Torn how I feel about this place.Service, ambience and vibe was amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable on wine. Presentation was beautifulHowever, the food was hit or miss from course to course. They do veggies super well but proteins were nothing special and the Venison made my stomach a little upset.I wanted to give this place a 5 based on the vibe and staff, but the food didn't hold up.

Saltie Girl: what do users think?
Sara Abdelaziz: Every time I visit Boston, I have to eat there. People are friendly, the service is great, the food is to die for.

Minh Anh Bui: Visited this place twice. I’ll have to say that it’s an expensive restaurant but the food is really nice, especially the lobster roll (very buttery and seafood-y). We enjoyed the meal, but again, it was expensive. I would recommend this place if you want to hang out once in a while not every day….Recommended dishes Lobster Roll, Seafood …More

Daniel-Eric Wirtz: Unfortunatly our evening at Saltie Girl Boston was horrible. We had a reservation and were send downstairs. We stood there and no one cared for us. We had to ask a waiter were we should sit. He went to the hostess which then arrived and only then were we seated. Then we ordered oysters as Appetizer. We wanted two of each. Instead we got less then ordered and pointed that to the waiter out. He then brought us a plate with the missing ones. The problem here was that they weren‘t placed clockwise like in the other oyster restaurants in Boston ( like the little whale or Selected Oysters )so we didn‘t know which oyster we were eating. As we went through this course, they already brought the Entrée which is just not acceptable. The waiter didn‘t seem to understand why we wouldn‘t want our hot meals mixed with our order from the raw bar. He acted like we were screaming at him which we weren‘t. Then, which seemed to be the restaurant manager, came to our table apologized and took the warm dishes away for later but explained, that this were normal here, like Tapas. We are from Europe. No original Tapas restaurant in Spain would mix hot tapas with cold ones. These are always seperated courses. As we had finished our Oysters we got the Entrée which wasn‘t that good. The beef of the burger had no seasoning and no taste at all and the Pasta was over seasoned. When we ordered the check, they had charged us twice the main courses which they then changed after complaining. It gave us the feeling that they wanted to fraud us.Overall our stay at Saltie Girl was an horrible experience which cost us a lot money which wasn‘t it worth.
Veronika Chula: Best lobster roll you could ever have!
Shiva N: The mood here is amazing. The drinks are even better! Recommend the basil cocktail.
A A: Came in as a walk in and given an awful wonky table. Host did not even care to fix it. Waiter never showed up. N one brought water. Place needs improvement in management and organization. Go elsewhere and save your money.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Allie: Food was pretty good/decent, atmosphere is awesome and fun. Definitelty make a reservation because the place gets packed. Service is average.
Linda Joy: Bartender unfriendly. Worst cocktail sauce ever.
Robin Way: Loved loved loved the tinned mussels and sardines, and the seared sea scallops were awesome.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
N: Food was good and service inside restaurant too. But the front desk hostess was absolutely awful and needs a lesson in customer service… or a job that doesn’t involve speaking to people. The restaurant mistakenly changed my reservation time without my request and rather than work to accommodate and take accountability on the error the hostess was extremely rude and dismissive. She would speak over me and tell me “move aside” and that whatever time in her system is when the table will be ready, regardless of whatever email/text proof I had on my end.Bad attitude but the rest of the staff made up for it. Good job to the managers for rectifying.
Matthew Naneville: Came here at 9:30 PM with a party of 5 to get a late night bite. We were told that only the bar was open and they were serving a limited menu until 9:45 PM. When we went to the bar area, we noticed there was a booth large enough to accommodate us; however, when we went to sit down, we were told the table was reserved, which given the fact that it was 30 mins before close was hard to believe. We ended up leaving and not eating there, but spent close to 15-20 minutes outside of the restaurant trying to figure out where else to go, during which time no big parties went into the restaurant, which really made it seem like they were lying, being lazy, or probably both. Their late night menu was also limited to seafood cocktail type food, so don’t expect to find their famed lobster roll if you go there after 9 PM. We were very disappointed as this restaurant was on our list of places to eat at while visiting Boston, and this was by far the worst experience we had at any restaurant or place during our entire visit. Their lobster roll may be one of the best, but their laziness and shady behavior left a permanent sour taste in our mouths.
Rob Wienert: No expectations walking in. Walked out having enjoyed Fried Lobster and Waffle. Fantastic!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Lobster & Waffles …More
A Stenft: Hate to leave a negative review but this is far from friendly and from from accommodating. Not only did they push our reservation back 45 minutes, they were extremely aggressive towards allowing one additional guest at the table. They had asked the person to leave and were not willing to add a chair when the restaurant was filled with open seats. They clearly aren't out to make sure diners have the best experience possible.
Allen C: Good food, nice place to get together with friendsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Kylie Odparlik: This place was delicious! All the food we had was great. We had a sample of all of their oysters, burger, and lobster roll with salt and vinegar chips. I love being able to try different oysters and tasting the difference in flavor profiles. Also, the lobster roll was perfect served warm with butter on a toasted roll. The prices are a bit high but worth it.

Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. Cristian Suarez: Because of how good the tapas was, I’m giving it a four star. But considering how low-key trash the drinks were, I’d give it a limp 3 star. Fun atmosphere though.
Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.
