Mona Jalal: Lynn at Sephora was very helpful and showed me how to apply concealer as well as Fenty beauty mocha stick. She walked me through every step very patiently and was very patient with me. She also helped me reorder a previous mascara. Further, since they were out of mocha stick, she shipped it to my house. She is very nice and friendly and I highly suggest working with her. She has great makeup recommendations and she suggested a lip liner from Sephora (both color and type) as I was in market for one. She also suggested me a brush by Sephora which blends extremely well due to its size. Caroline at the store was also very nice and helped me with purchase of point liner black color by O/S brand. The store has a great vibe and people are overall very helpful and friendly. They are a bit understaffed though on a Saturday afternoon. The bathroom is extremely clean and serene.

Ariell Small: This review is based on an experience i had on December 27th 2020. I received the rudest customer service from this location. Even before I could even step into the store I was rudely interrogated by Ericson about why I was there. I explained that I was not sure and wanted to look around but I was interested in looking for a fragrance . I was told by Ericson that that location only had minis/ roll ons and that we could use the paper to sample the perfume. While trying to smell the perfume a woman came over to me and yelled to me that we could not touch the perfume because they were for display only (which made absolutely no sense since the man, Ericson) told us we could sample the perfume. After I asked about if I could take a sample home due to not being able to smell through my mask, Ericson said that we were not allowed to take a sample home due to CDC which I'm unsure if this is even true or they just didn't want to bother with me. Not one associate tried to even assist me and made me feel like I was not welcomed in the store. Please go to another Sephora where you will receive better customer service.

Katherine: I went to pick up my order this morning and a young white lady with long hair was helping me at the counter. She was very enthusiastic and greeted everyone who came to check out, but when I passed by, even when I tried to be nice and said "how are you", she just looked at me indifferently. While checking my ID, she just took a very quick look and then gave me my order. When I left, I realized it wasn't like my stuff, and when I went back to the store to tell her, I didn't get an apology. Handed me the order with a deadpan face, as if I was interfering with her day. I don't know if it's because I don't buy a lot, or racism so she doesn't think we don't worth her service? I was happy when I arrived, because I found many niche brands to choose from in the store. Maybe I will try other stores next time, but I prefer to choose the official website of other brands instead of accepting some people's scorn here.

My hair appointment with Alda was a life saver ; my hair was a burnt wreck- Alda worked a miracle! Immediately my hair is healthier and brighter. Alda styled my mess into a beautiful blonde so that I’m ready for my island vacation !!!! Easy to see the girls at the salon really have fun with making people beautiful with makeup design/ tutorials, kids haircuts, styling- this is the best Ulta !

As a regular customer, I have come to rely on your store as a convenient and reliable place to shop for my needs.However, the early closure on 12/19 was a major inconvenience for me. Dada: Really bad, the exchange rule is so dumb, why is there no exceptions for exchange especially if you haven't opened it? Why shouldn't there be an exchange exception when the product that you buy isn't what you expected? I told the lady that works there that the hair doesn't looks like what I'm looking for but she convinced me that it was. Later that day I found out it wasn't. So why can't I exchange especially since the lady that works there told me?

darnone barreau: So I was planning on buying a Butterfly loc crochet but one of the lady gave me something else and said I could also use that to make butterfly loc and she tried convincing me and i i fell for it but now that I'm at a hair salon they said it's a lie, the hair that they gave me isn't able to do that and they told me i should exchange it, and that should be an exception especially since it was the worker that made me buy it. So i called them and they said i can't exchange it. There should be an exception to when you can exchange but to them there's none

I read the receipt and said ok I can exchange but not return within 5 days, as long as it's unopened, fine. But he said no look closely and when I did the list of things that cannot be exchanged was EVERYTHING IN THE STORE! So basically even though he says he does exchanges, he does NOT! I tried to explain to him how that's misleading and he should have just put all sales final and leave it at that. I told him I didn't even want my money back, just something I could actually use! He told me he didn't care and he wasn't exchanging anything. So if you shop here, You better be 100% percent sure it's the product you want or better yet, just shop somewhere else.

Cecelia Sherwin: I came for the candles, but their selection was pretty lacking in person compared to their website. The candles that were on display had a layer of dust on top of the wax so it was very difficult to smell the cold throw.

A lot happened during this appointment, but For starters, she was 45 minutes late. She left my head soaking in the bowl for 3 HOURS. Then when I told her I wasn’t happy with the final look because it was ORANGE & even darker than it was before the appointment. She told me it would fade. Since I’ve been getting my hair bleached for 5 years, I was aware that the orange would not fade. I called back after a week to try to reschedule something & she was extremely unprofessional, yelling at me over the phone & unwilling to help me speak to someone else. Very unpleasant & uncomfortable experience with Franchesca. Do not book with her. However, management was helpful in helping me book an appointment elsewhere.

Patricia Cosby: I stopped by Sephora Seaport during my lunch. I’m looking for a concealer for mature skin. When I walked in there was several 2 workers standing in the front talking. They both looked at me and back to continue their conversation. This has happened before, it just doesn’t change. This is such a turn off and BTW you’re losing money because of it.. I just left w/out buying anything. Management should be on this. I live just around the corner and go in less and less.
Sookie Cadet: My spouse went to this store to pick up my order and felt like he’s being watched like a hawk. Probably because he’s a black straight male. I am so disappointed at the company as a former employee. Won’t be going to this store again.
Star: This is the first time I’ve had a problem with any of the Sephora stores in Boston. The sales women at the seaport location are rude and unprofessional. I was not going to spend my time or money on such horrible customer service. I walked in on Saturday at about 1pm and the store was empty. I passed two women at the front door talking. They did not offer any friendly greetings, just looked at me and continued talking. As I made my way through the store, I passed to more female sales associates that were also talking to each other and not paying attention to the customer. I started to approach them about a product and they both looked me up and down, and gave me a nasty stare then continued speaking amongst each other.Affronted by such rude behavior I started to make my way out the store. These women could have used company time more productively by making sales rather than using company time to socialize. Also the woman at the front door was management which shows why this location is ran poorly. I will not step foot at this location again.

John Ohrenberger: The associates were so nice, and helped me find a solution for exactly the skincare problem I was having. A pretty good selection. Very heavy on makeup and cosmetics, but still enough skincare stuff.

Grandee De Guzman: It was my first time purchasing any makeup and I was quite nervous; however, Nala(i think that was her name) helped me pick out a concealer, foundation/tinted moisturizer, and a moisturizer to help with my acne. She matched me on the first try of the concealer and foundation and was quick to help me search for what I needed. She was super resourceful and kind. She told me it was her 4th day of work and she honestly made my day.
Saif Almutawa: RUDE STAFF !!!! I was with my wife who was chooising items without any of the staff memebers asking us if we needed assitance. To the point where we would be next to an SA who would walk in the other direction. I have been to a sephora in different countries, this has got to be the worst experience yet.

Megan Heveran: At Sephora Fenway, beauty associate welcomed me to the store and asked if he could help me. I told him I need help finding a replacement for my defective Jouer beauty product that I was here to exchange. He informed me that his store does not sell that makeup brand, but that I could go to Prudential Center, Sephora instead. I told him that was a little out of my way and that I would rather just make a defective return if possible. He glared at me and said “if you want to”, and then proceeded in a mocking baby tone of voice said, “ if you truly wanted to help out our store then you’d be going to Prudential Center instead of making us do the return.” I proceeded to the front of the store made my return after leaving the store I cried due to how rude this associate had treated me, I have never felt so belittled or insulted or made to feel so bad at a store. I will not be going back to the Fenway Sephora.

Christine M. Vöhringer: Worst sephora experience. I love the brand, but every time I go this location just receive bad service. Last time one of the dependents was just mad because I decided to go with other brand and keep giving her advice even when politely let her know that already knew what I wanted to acquire and needed no suggestions but valued her time and effort. In that same visit at the moment of paying had to request my “birthday samples”, because the manager just wanted me to pay, and when asked about options he said they had non, when they actually had several once I started asking. I don’t know, probably the pandemic brought some stress into this location, but I feel is unfair to be treated this way in my visits so, not going any more.
