Anna Walker: I am more than pleased with my experience with Dr. Darrow. I recently underwent a breast augmentation and love my results.I spent many months researching plastic surgeons (looking through before and after photos, looking at websites, and certifications) and kept coming back to Dr. Darrow. I loved his photos the most because I found that his breast augmentation results looked the most real and natural.Pre- consultation: I emailed Dr. Darrow’s assistant and made an appointment about a month or two out from when I called. I really appreciated that there was no consultation fee. For me this is a small but larger gesture than one may think. It shows that he was more interested in my personal happiness than receiving money from me.Consultation: I felt very comfortable and happy being in his office. He is an extremely knowledgeable surgeon who answered my never-ending list of questions, never making me feel like I was wasting his time and/ or was being rushed. He was very upfront with me and told me the negatives that can result from a breast augmentation but reassured me on how to prevent it from happening. Another thing I appreciated was that he did say something along the lines of “even if it is not me, please make sure you have a surgeon who you are extremely comfortable with and is not just a plastic surgeon but is also an American Board certified plastic surgeon.” Again, this shows he is interested in my own happiness and will give me this best advice to do so.Surgery day: He does perform his surgeries at his own practice which may make some people more nervous vs being in a hospital. I was not nervous at all and felt very comfortable with his staff – Alexandria, Kim (nurse), and anesthesiologist who I can’t remember the name. My surgery was very quick (about an hour to an hour and a half). I came out feeling amazing! I know recovery is different for everyone, I watched many breast augmentation vlogs on youtube and it seemed liked I had the easiest recovery out of them all (I know this can vary depending on the amount of breast tissue you have beforehand). All I had was minor discomfort at times, but no pain and I didn’t even take all the medications that were given. I personally believe this is a reflection on your surgeon. My stiches are also very small and minimal which shows he is highly skilled. I love the size and shape of my breasts and finally have the breasts I have always dreamed of.Post Op: Everything is healing really well, and they look great. He again answered all my questions and informed me about what I can and cannot do. We will have another appointment in a month or so to take photos and make sure I am all good to go!I highly recommend Dr. Darrow!

Ash: Had lipo of abs and flanks...... ruined my stomach (took way too much fat out in different parts of my stomach) and my flanks are so lumpy. Had to have a revision some where else which cost me $10k. Had to get a fat grapht to my stomach to address the mess he left. Also was left with two egg sized cysts on my stomach that were filled with blood. And will need another fat graft. I’ve chatted with a several people on RealSelf who also have messed up lipo because of him. There’s so many surgeons out there. BEWARE.

I’m horrified by my results and hardly ever left the house post-surgery because of this. One of my nostrils has almost completely collapsed making it difficult to breathe. There is almost no difference in the size after I specified I wanted a shorter nose with a small, defined shape. What I received was nothing close to this. My nose seems even bigger than before and I’ll be having to spend thousands with a more trustworthy surgeon elsewhere. Don’t waste your time, look elsewhere. I wish I received this warning before ever scheduling any appointment.

Maressa Inserra: Unfortunately I hate being the first person to leave a 1 star review, but I need to express how unhappy I am. Dr Darrow and his staff were great, however my results weren’t even close to my expectations.I had a rhinoplasty done over 1 year ago after a lifetime of hating my nose’s shape and size.From the moment the cast was removed, I knew I wasn’t happy with it. I cried on my entire ride back home, avoided looking at my own face in the mirror for months, hate taking pictures of my face, specially close ups..To this day, family and friends (who were not aware of my surgery) have not noticed any difference whatsoever. The improvement was minimum.It has no definition, a round/ ball tip, the bridge is too wide, and my profile is not straight. I was also left with a tiny hole in my cartilage which makes my nose whistle when I breath...I went back to speak with Dr Darrow about a revision roughly 10 months after and was turned down. Dr Darrow said to me he couldn’t deliver what I was looking for. He recommended me to go see his colleague, which I did, paid for a consultation. His colleague gave me a price of over $13,000.00 for a revision because, his own words, there is a lot that needs to be done.Not that this matters but this was a dream of mine since I was a teenager. I was made fun of because I had a “big nose”.. I saved up and planned for a long time to make this happen and I cant even begin to explained how extremely disappointed I am.So if you are planning on getting a nose job there, please make sure you go over every tiny detail and expectations before committing. He had the best price out of all doctors I saw and the couple of thousands I saved, will now cost me 5 times more.

Ruth K: I saw Dr Darrow to discuss an issue I had with a bump under my eye after having an under eye blepharoplasty with another surgeon. The operating plastic surgeon said it was nothing that could be corrected (gave me a few different reasons why). I was unhappy a year later, as it was all I could see when I looked in the mirror, even though I was overall happy with the result. The bump under my eye could get very large and swollen. On a whim, I thought I would seek a second opinion in Dr Darrow. Not only did he give me his opinion on how to fix it from the simple to complex (wait, it IS fixable?? News to me!!!), he tried using a very minute amount of injected steroid to help. It has been five days and I haven't seen the bump come back. This is amazing. I only paid for the consult and certainly was not expecting the time he gave me to hear my concerns, he did not discount them like the other doctor had and the willingness to try something while I was there. He said it would not worsen the bump but might improve it. So far, it has. He told me to follow up in a month to know for sure if it is resolved. I will definitely return to Dr Darrow for future improvements. He has a very nice manner and calming way about him.

Haogang Su: SCAM SCAM SCAM ATTENTION!You are looking at a scam here. I am telling you the fact, and it's at your own risk visiting the clinic. I went there on Sep 21st, 2017 for botox injection. This unethical guy William Numa suggested me to take 240 unit of botox on my jaw. I would have been dead if I took his suggestions. But I was stupid enough to think that if I do not take the botox, 600 dollars deposit would be gone. So I insisted on taking 120 units, which I found out later taking 120 units was still insanely large amount. Normally it should be 40 units(I am 5'7 male, and my masseter is normal. Please search online and consult other doctors for evidence, and don't listen to this wicked guy who received his doctoral degree from South America Colombia.Numa's malpractice upset me. However, WHAT ANGERED ME MORE was that he did not let me see the amount he used for injection. He threw away the botox bottle before I could check what brand and what amount he used. I was very certain he cheated on the amount too.There were many more unpleasant details about Numa and his beautiful office staff. I do not want to waste my time writing on those. Just DO NOT GO HERE.In the end, I went out with a 1920.00 dollar bill. If I went with his suggestions, it would have been 3840.00 dollars. Four thousand dollars for simple jaw botox injection. I laughed out when I realized how stupid I was going to this place. Please Do Not Go Here and do not be stupid trusting other comments, which are mostly manipulated or paid by the clinic. Such an awful place, YUCK!

Brian Belts: Looking for a scam artist with a rude staff and overcharging? This is your guy. Charged my insurance $600 dollars for a ten minute consultation. Then sent me a bill for $50 which I had not gotten around to paying and 30 days later he sent me a bill that was double the amount for a late fee. DO NOT GO HERE. I have met people who have been here and their results were mediocre at best. These good reviews are probably paid for knowing this man.

Robert Yelle (Bob Yelle): In the fall of 2015, I was diagnosed with a basal cell growth on my nose, that required surgery in January, 2016. The removal of the basal cell left a long, large hole almost the entire length of the left side of my nose. In stepped Dr. Numa to complete the final surgery. I was amazed that the work done by Dr. Numa looked better than I expected. It is now September, 2016, and unless I showed someone where the surgery took place, they would never find it. There is no scar and my nose looks better than it did before I had the surgery.

Jojo iozzo: Unbelievable!!! My mother had Basal Cell Skin Cancer on the tip of her nose. The Dermatologist had to cut from the bridge of her nose down to the tip. Dr. Numa did his magic, you can barely see the scar!!!!

They explained the whole process very well, they both very sweet and professionals.Update 6 months after surgery.My procedures were TT and back liposuction. Unfortunately, my back is not fully free of fat, i still have a lower belly and my bellybutton is almost gone. After my last follow up appointment, i expressed my concerns and i was told that he had to leave fat in my back so I don't look too skinny, my still lower belly that's how my muscles are and my almost gone bellybutton was because of the way my body healed. I actually went to another surgeon and that one told me after looking at the bellybutton suture picture that it was a poor technique, my recovery time was so fast after TT because the muscles in my lower belly were not pulled enough (i was literally able to walk straight after 2 days) and the fat in my back was not fully removed.Dr. D i believe my be an excellent BBL surgeon but not for TT based on my experience, and BBL is what he does every day. I don't know why I decided to have surgery with him when I probably saw only one TT procedure on his IG page. Now, i need surgery again.

If you need a doctor that is going to coddle you, give you unrealistic expectations and promises you the world- he’s not your guy. Shae Sedona: I had Lipo 360, fat transfer to my breasts, and a skinny BBL w/ Dr. Del Vecchio last week. My initial consult w/ Dr. Del Vecchio was very good - he was straight forward and honest about what I can and cannot expect. I had to gain weight for the procedure, and he gave me some advice on how to do this quickly and easily. The whole team was very communicative prior to my procedure (mainly by text, which I appreciated given my busy schedule - I can almost never pick up the phone). The nurse anesthetist even called me the night before my procedure to go over everything and answer any questions I had. I was very nervous the morning of my procedure but the nurse anesthetist put me at ease by talking about anesthesia techniques and drugs (I am in the medical field as well, so I enjoy talking about this kind of thing). The other surgical assistant/nurse was great as well, very kind and accommodating (I asked him to take my to the bathroom to pee about 50 times). Dr. Del Vecchio examined me again, and discussed my goals and the surgical plan again to make sure we were on the same page, and then drew on me with marker which also made me feel very good (maybe physically seeing the plan drawn on my body put me at ease). Then I was given an IV catheter and some amazing drugs and don't remember anything other than waking up and feeling a little tender but overall good. My husband drove me home (I don't remember much of this either), and the first day I mostly rested. I had 2 JP (bulb/suction) drains in, which I had to empty a lot the first 36 hrs, but then the draining slowed. Both the nurse anesthetist and Dr. Del Vecchio texted me to check in the day after my procedure, and answered a few questions I had. My recovery was mostly uneventful, but I did have a concern on day 5 post-op, on EASTER SUNDAY. I texted Dr. Del Vecchio and within 3 MINUTES he responded, and helped me with my concern (and seemed happy to do so, even on a Sunday, and a Holiday!). I just had my drains removed today (day 7) and am feeling very good. I am IN LOVE with my results so far! I still have some swelling and bruising, but can already see my beautiful new body shape. lisa zidel: I am extremely disappointed with the results of my procedure and my overall experience with DeRosa Clinic.I had a consult with Dr. DeRosa and she made a recommendation for a procedure to address my concerns. I initially liked the fact that the results shown on the website and in the office looked natural. Four months and $12,000 later there are no visible results. There is absolutely no improvement in the appearance in the area of concern.In addition, my credit card was "hacked" during payment and it's the only time the card has ever been used. It seemed suspicious due to the purchases made which were from Farfetch and Ulta Beauty. When I asked the reception people to look into it, they never responded.Lastly, I have photos of stitches that I removed myself because the nurse missed most of them, and they were irritating.I would have overlooked the latter two items, had there been an acceptable result, but I am sorely disappointed after much pain and cost. I would urge anyone considering a procedure at DeRosa Center to look elsewhere.

She showed me pictures of potential outcomes, and I was thrilled! I booked surgery that same day.The day of surgery I met Dr. DeRosa's husband, who also happens to be her anesthesiologist! He has a lovely calming presence that is especially essential right before surgery. It was a special twist to know that the practice was in essence “family run.”Post-op, the NP Nicole took off my cast and showed me my results, and I was stunned! My nose was perfectly straight again, without divots from being broken, and on top of that, was much smaller and looked SO appropriate for my face. I was THRILLED. I opted to also do some post-op Botox with Nicole right on the spot, which I must say was an added plus - she is a great listener and a very skilled technician. Botox isn’t something to play with, and she did a fantastic job. (Thanks Nicole! I can’t wait to come back!)Overall, I just can’t thank all of the DeRosa team enough for giving me my life back (really and truly). 片岡佑介: I worked on systematic review through the rotation. I have never experienced this kind of project, which is quite helpul as to how to filter out lots of information and construct strong theme. Dr. Lin helped me through the rotation by giving me steady feedback on each process. His advice has been accurate, which helped me out correcting the projectory in a right way.

Aziza Muminova: I had the opportunity to take Dr. Samuel Lin's plastic surgery course and it was absolutely amazing! He provided an incredibly detailed program that covered all the important aspects of the plastic surgery. The professor is so knowledgeable about the subject matter, and always had helpful insights during class discussions. He was also very approachable, which made it easy to ask questions and get help if needed. Dr. Lin is an amazing professor who has truly inspired me to do my best work!

Michelle DaSilva: It has been 13 years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was when I met Dr. Lin and I have been with him ever since. It has been a journey but Dr. Lin and his staff have been with me every step of the way. From my first visit with Dr. Lin when he took the time to explain all of my options to this visit today, I have always felt cared for and in the best hands. I had to have my left breast removed and I opted for a silicone implant. The initial expander was defective and I had to redo the surgery to put a new one in which added another 6-8 weeks to my reconstruction. Through the entire reconstructive process, Dr. Lin and his team were excellent. I was, and still am, very pleased with the results of their work. I was only 43 at the time of my diagnosis. I am 56 now and just had a reduction on my right breast so that it would match my left breast. I am very pleased with the outcome and feel like a new woman! I now have many more options on what I can wear since my breasts are symmetrical and even. I can't thank Dr. Lin and his staff enough! Although it was difficult to go through everything I have, Dr. Lin and his team allowed me to feel like a beautiful woman. They are not only experts in their field but they treat you as a person, with compassion, dignity and respect.

James Morey: I attended the Virtual Surgical Programme conducted by Dr Lin.This excellent flexible learning experience included guided reading and Questionnaires in preparation for the surgical videos which Dr Lin attended in person and directed the Q and A sessions. The facetime with Dr Lin was a unique opportunity to speak with a busy Surgeon about his daily work.

Flora DiCara: I can finally breathe out of my nose! A punch to the face in middle school left me with a severely deviated septum. I'm 6 weeks post-op and I feel absolutely fantastic. I met with 4 surgeons before deciding to work with Dr. Lin and I'm quite happy with the decision. Alyssa Sylvester: I saw Dr. Lin after having a bad experience with another surgeon years ago . My original surgery was to fix a severe deviated septum / rhinoplasty. The original surgeon took too much cartilage out in the process, causing more breathing issues and the tip of my nose to look unnatural / deformed. After living with the issues for 10 years, I finally decided to see Dr. Lin and I am so glad I did. Hew was able to use cartilage from my ear to fix the interior of my nose and its appearance. I couldn't be happier, and finally feel like myself again! He was able to clearly explain the process to me, and followed up periodically after the surgery to make sure everything healed correctly.
