John Lu: Good

Sportsmen's Tennis and Enrichment Center: what do users think?
a derosa: When my son was younger they were very accepting he was a neighborhood child they helped him grow his game those coaches are gone however my son has continued that legacy
Amit Jagdale: Nice facility with decent tennis courts. Plenty of parking.
Kachi Wachuku: Great staff, awesome, fun and respectful atmosphere to play tennis!
Quinn Askew: great place Awesome instructor'svery inviting🎾
Corey Lu: Good courts but no separation/nets between courts.
Edward Martinez: Best tennis club in New England!
Erika Yih: Awesome tennis club. Non-profit, African American-run, a lot of initiatives to help the kids in the surrounding community. I've never belonged to a tennis club in my life until now but wasn't interested in joining any others in the city. Sportsmen's is special because of their mission and their integration into the community. Good vibes, good people, a good cause, good facility, good price. Not much more you can ask for.
Mucho Gusto: Great experience a little pricey for this zip code
Martinez Lds: The best place that parents can get them kids!!! They teach kids to be respectful, confident , respects each other!!! And the most important to believe in themself!!! Definitely recommend this place 100%100.
anish shrivastava: I love this place the coaches are very nice and welcoming
Meme M: My child attended the summer camp this year and since she has started she has been coming home telling me a boy has pushed her, kicked her in the stomach, teased, etc. And Ms.Nadine , Ms. Toni , the counselors have completely let my child and I down when it came to safety. So when it comes to summer camps I do not recommend this place.
Hao Feng: This place is free to the community. As in free gym and free use of the tennis court, etc. They also have other events onsite where the community is educated on certain subjects and allowed to participate in a discussion. In my opinion, this place should get nothing less than 5 stars because it's free. How can anything free be rated less than perfect?
Jo P: The tennis coaches are world class. The lessons and practices are catered to my needs and do not feel like we're mindlessly drilling. The teams are so much fun. The members are kind and the environment is always jovial and friendly. They do it all here and I stand behind their mission. I always enjoy my time here.
Carina Nyberg Washington: My son attends the after school program here, and he loves it. I love it too, the caring staff, the nice facilities (I know it doesn't look impressive at the parking lot or front door, but don't let that discourage you), and a very well run program. My son is picked up every day from school and taken to the tennis club, he does his homework (with support if needed) eats a snack, and plays tennis (indoor and outdoor). They also have board games, books, movies on Fridays) and have guest lecturers sometimes. There are computers where kids can play educational and fun computer games, and in addition, they have a free gym for parents so they can work out before picking up their kid! I am so impressed with this place, and are trying to attend more things here with my children on the weekends.
Avi Wolfson: I picked up my daughter from this tennis program for the first time today and I'm really glad I did. What I was expecting was just kids playing tennis however I was surprised to discover this is much much more than I had expected. Coach Frank is not just a Tennis Coach. He is a motivational speaker with an entrepreneur mindset and a superb mentor to the kid's he coaches and an amazing human being. I felt as though I was intruding when I came down to the court area but Coach Frank made me apart of the experience which was so cool. He even had a prominent guest speaker in the ambulatory industry! All the staff is phenomenal and really care about the kids as if they're their own, even the receptionist, it's amazing. I am so glad my daughter is participating in this program, I'm confident she's going to be better person just because of this program. If you're on the fence about signing up your child for this program don't wait, you won't regret it. If I could give 10 stars I would without question. Thank you Coach Frank and all the amazing staff at Sportsmen's Tennis for the incredible work you do!
Harshana Godamanna: Only African american found Tennis club in Boston. Welcoming kids from all different ethnic backgrounds to enjoy and learn Tennis.

Boston Athletic Club: what do users think?
Don Murray: Any update on the reopening timeline? Thanks
Alexander Comforti: Are you ever going to reopen again?
Michael Fenn: When you are you reopening??
Hieu Le: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismWon’t reopen or attempt to do so safely with everything going on. Cashing in on the PPP loan which you can view online this whole time. My guesstimate is it’ll reopen at the beginning of the year since the loans are expired now.
Liz Holcomb: Why is the club closed? Will it be reopening at some point?
Jeffrey Milinazzo: It's time to open up!
Brielle Curvey: In a year the BAC team has done nothing for members and refuses to update us with any substantive information. I mostly used the club for tennis because of its convenient location - though the tennis accommodations were underwhelming to begin withThe lack of communication and overall unwillingness to even test reopening strategies is extremely disappointing. I will find somewhere else to play, and now that I have a home gym I will never be back.
Ryan Abbott: RE-OPEN! You've had all this time to come up with a safe, effective plan to re-open with limited capacity (even do online bookings!) and sanitation stations. But instead, you cut your community off from a healthy outlet. You will never again see my business!
Rachana Patil: Awesome group exercises and the instructors. Worth it.
Jacqueline Herb: Front desk worker named Nell is super friendly and helpful! Great staff 😉
Cheri Downer: Mmmm? Probably not where I was headed. Sorry google, never been to this place either.
David Godin: Great location, plenty of equipment. Friendly and helpful staff. It has classes, a pool, personal trainers and as many other extra benefits as one could hope for (to include child care). I doubt there's a better gym in the Boston Area. Don't normally rate places, but they had an oddly low rating and felt compelled to speak up for them.
Kelly Fink: Great gym. Has it all. Pool, Jacuzzi, Yoga/Dance/Exercise Classes, Great equipment, Personalized training, on site physical therapy, massage, chiropractor and a hair salon. Childcare available. Locker room and showers are very clean. Steam room, and Sauna. Front desk staff is great. Towel service. Given all of this, you can’t beat the price $79/mth.
Kathy Attardo: Took a water aerobics class w my Mom! I have no idea what it's called but afterwards I realized that these older women are in better shape than me!! This place is the BEST, hands down!
Rob Stan: Helpful knowledgeable staff, trainers, massage, PT, Chiropractor, pool, hot tub, saunas, tennis courts, racquetball, basketball, fitness classes, bikes and machines of all kinds. Take a tour and talk to the staff, not a perfect club and expensive at $70 a month but few can match it, Clean with people of all ages and races you will be welcomed no matter what shape or size you are because they are definitely friendly here.
Ken Yee: Great works out space in South Boston.Biggest negative is the tennis courts are not well lit. A few inexpensive skylights would improve it immensely.
killer winner: I when the there the first time was good but the second time was awesome I when the swimming 🎱 and then I ate 🍕 I loved it
Jason Weeks: Was called racial slur my first week there. It seems like an old boys club, with lots of townie old men. Small section with gym equipment but I was told it's expanding soon. I'm not sure how long I will remain a member.Edit: continued membership, haven't had any problems since. I hope it was an isolated incidence. Most other people have been friendly. Rich is super welcoming and the front desk staff are great. The weight section was expanded to a large room with much more space, while keeping the old area as well.
Kathryn Garbuzinski: The front desk staff are really friendly, there's a variety of equipment and classes, and there's a pool. Definitely no shortage of barbells which is nice. But that's where the benefits end. I'm paying $90/mo to deal with one leg press, people who don't rerack and leave 90lb of plates loaded on the bench, and it looks like a lot of the equipment hasn't been replaced since this place opened. WiFi is spotty at best, showers are gross and old. Tried finding a bar pad for hip thrusts and the only one was old, broken, and just as effective as wrapping a towel around the bar (which I did instead).Outside of equipment, the parking lot is riddled with pot holes, the hours are mediocre at best, and guest passes for members are $20.It has a decent amount of equipment for sure but I've been a member of nicer gyms that cost half this. You're really only paying for location.
tpatrick Meyers: Water Aerobics classes with Lori , Yoga with Terry and Group Exercise with Rhea are great classes. A health club with a lot to offer. The members are encouraging to one another.
William Spencer: Clean place❤

Cambridge Tennis Club: what do users think?
Kate Canfield: This is an amazing laid-back neighborhood tennis club! A super friendly group of people with lots of organized social activities throughout the summer. The setting is incredible… prices reasonable (a nonprofit created for Cambridge residents to play, or learn to play, tennis)… and it’s just really really fun! LOVE it.
Jared: Bizarre, patrician, white (clothes and otherwise) tennis culture. Membership requires letters of recommendation from existing members. With the loss of head pro Rick Rose, there is little left to redeem this place. It's like they are trying to go extinct by remaining in the 1920s.
Jackson Hall: You can play tennis there. It's wacky
John Martin: The elites flooded the courts with water for ice skating :(
John Franzosa: Nice courts, nice patrons, great management.

Boston Common Tennis Court: what do users think?
Carolyn Qi: Great spot
Jay Gamer: Besides the summer Tenacity youth program, the city needs to prohibit permits to private coaches that take up court time. You can see it on the app where time slots are automatically blocked. Doing so is privatization of public land where the rest of us tax payers can't freely access this public amenity. Shame on the park service for not understanding this simple concept.
Bram Lambrus: Super convenient location for us urban dwellers. The courts themselves are in OK condition - some cracks on the courts, but the nets are in good shape. One court has a backboard, and there are lights for evening play.Key thing to note: you will need to make an online reservation to be able to use these courts in the “busy season” (e.g. anytime the weather is nice). Go on PlayLocal.com to reserve, and note that it is commonly booked out for weeks in advance. If you don’t see the Boston Common location listed in your search results, that’s because it’s booked solid for that day. Good luck and happy hitting!
Jon Hanson: A lot of cracks on court 2, but it's workable. Backboard is pretty nice.
Nicolas Joly: Cracks in court with grass, fading lines.
최시영: managed nicely and like the lively mood there
Veronah Najjuko: Its a nice place to go and chill also play tennis too
Derek McDermott: Its a nice tennis court
Niq Howard: These courts stay busy with coaches showing children how to play on weekday mornings.
Andy Wong: Used to attend the Tenacity program at this location, got heckled by a homeless guy.
