REI: what do users think?
Adam Barney: Great store. Wonderful staff and products and being a coop makes it even more special. They also will validate parking 😎
V M: Really love REI in general. And I’m happy one is here in Fenway. The workers at this location are very helpful and friendly. I shop here maybe twice a month. My only critique is I wish they had more products in store. Given the in-store inventory, I find myself buying online a lot. That means I am guessing a size, which is not ideal.
Stephen Craft: Awesome store, especially the bike shop
Traveler: There are better urban REIs.2023: Parking now $10. Don't order here for pickup. From 2019:Online order pickup is frustrating as you have to pay for parking, even just to pick up an item. There is not short term parking whatsoever. Validated parking is $5 up to an hour, $8 up to 2 hours.Be warned, the garage clearance is quite low.
Marc Shafer: I have been looking for a specific pair of Burton Infinium Oven Gloves, and I had taken to calling Burton stores around America. The folks at the Boston store knew exactly what I wanted and knew they had one pair in stock. They took my order and shipped my gloves that day. Fabulous customer service...I am so appreciative.
Becky Lynch: I was looking for new boots and the staff was very friendly. They asked if I needed help and had good recommendations. Staff at register was nice too. Definitely take the T or walk. There is no parking.
Sofia Theodorou: Worse place ever do not even think to biy anything from them. They will try to sell you a membership and say they give you bonus card but they will miss to say it expires. They have zero customer service. I paid 90$ for shoes that would cost 50$ and did not even have money for this expense. I explained my concerns to the workers but she still managed to extract me 90$. Unethical pieces of animals.
Roosevelt Jefferson II: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love coming to this store.
Daniel Harlow: This was a great REI, and the people who work there do a great job, but the parking lot was closed for construction and the streets nearby are always full so it is now essentially impossible to park. This is a pity, as we now have to go to a different location.
James Fiala: Love REI
Laura Shanks: I am absolutely disgusted with the management and staff of this store. Several staff members recently petitioned to have a DISABLED MILITARY VETERAN FIRED from this store location because they were UNCOMFORTABLE with his DISABILITY. Rather than supervisors having a conversation with all staff to address the solution they took the easy way out and fired him. This location is currently under investigation by Disability Rights Massachusetts. Please boycott.
Jason Courtemanche: Great selection
Kapil Ashok Hariyani: Best outdoor store with outstanding 👏 customers care store in entire AMERICA CONTINENT
robyn b: Great store but you have to get the building to rid of the parking attendant outside.Had to quickly drop off daughter to get a sensor removed which was left on and he was scary abusive and upsetting.
Rian Dalton: Frequent customer to this REI, due to their consistently great and friendly service!
I-y H: I am really disappointed in this place. their bike shop staff installed my pedals without the m4 pedal pins. Not sure if this is due to lack of professionalism or they divided to keep my pins. really upsetting experience here.......
Brent Lowry: Still giving a five-star rating even though I could not find lightweight waterproof tarps.
Liv Burns: Got the best service today from the bike shop – I'd purchased a gravel bike over a month ago and was having trouble shifting gears due to some finicky cable tension. The guy who worked on my bike with me went above & beyond, and worked super fast to get me back on the road.
Paul G: This site seems smaller than a normal store, though still well stocked. Two stars though since this location is in a building with $10 validated parking. REI could've done better. If you don't mind the parking or can walk there, it's not bad.
Austin Coffin: Great outdoor store in downtown Boston. Awesome selection of hiking, biking, and boating supplies and a huge selection of clothing. Parking is $10 with validation.
Jesse Kennedy: Staff is always so friendly and helpful.

Landry's Bicycles: what do users think?
John Maguire: I always feel in good hands at Landry's. I've been riding a bike since age 7 and I'm still riding almost daily at age 70. Landry's is as good as it gets for me.
C Hinrichs: Went in today and Declan helped me (thin that was their name).Just got a new bike and had a dog carriage attached. The bolt came off and I came in for a new one and I also had trouble adjusting my seat. They were patient with my questions and seemed genuinely happy to assist me.
Aaron Effron: Thank you for fantastic service as always!
John Macuk: Got my replacement brakes installed without any issues
Sophia Yang: The service is always so speedy and good. Most importantly, the staff is extremely kind and efficient. Everyone is polite and made me feel very welcome. I have never been to any bike shop that has better service. I think these guys maxed out on the customer service.
Adrienne Groccia: I recently visited Landry’s for a tire and handlebar tape change and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they had my bike ready in no time. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of bike maintenance or repairs. I really appreciated how patient and kind they were - I’m a complete beginner, and they took the time to explain what my options were. Thank you Landry’s for your excellent service!
Joshua Nealon: Quick, super-friendly, honest and well-priced. Thanks guys!
Robert Page: Landry's had an excellent selection of great bikes and knowledgeable staff that were very friendly and helpful.
Anne Fabiny: We always get great service, advice and products from the staff at Landry's!
John Owen: I always count on Landry's Brighton for expert advice and service. I have purchased two children's bikes and three adult bikes from Mark and his crew and have all of my service performed there. They are the best in Boston.
John Ta: Best bike shop. Good selection. Good service. Knowledgeable staff.
Jay Laing: Great selection and knowledgable sales staff. Just watch going on Sundays as they can get quite busy.
Craig Johnson: Informative teammates, low pressure sales approach and a community oriented accommodation for a large group of us who attended.
José Garza: Hermoso lugar solo tengo una pregunta ¿ hacen mantenimiento de orquillas de suspensión?
Jason Soules: Landry’s is the only bike store I will shop at in the US. They are incredibly responsive and don’t have that typical, “too cool” to help you attitude that other bike shops have. Landry’s is incredibly approachable for whatever my needs are and they work hard to find the right, cost appropriate solution.
Thealyn Ploetz: Drew was exceptionally helpful in helping me find the right bike part for a great price. As a newer bicyclist, it can be intimidating and overwhelming learning how to differentiate various biking equipment/parts. It was a big relief to interact with staff that was friendly and patient. I'll hopefully go back for additional biking supplies in the future!
Isabella Dobson: Bike service was fast and now my brakes work great! Everyone was friendly and respectful too.
Peter Gerlings: The service is great and the price is right!
anzew000: Best place to buy a bike
Stefano Kotsonis: Great gang of bike nerds --friendly & expert. And thanks for accommodating me with a speedy turnaround on short notice --I know you're usually too busy for that.
Rosie Halper: Love this place! If I could rate it 10/5 stars, I would. I’ve gotten 2 bikes from them. Randy is amazing! He knows his stuff, is friendly and courteous. Took my bike in for a flat and had it fixed in no time. I wanted to add on a few accessories, but it was too close to closing. They said to drop it off the next day (Tuesday) and it would be ready on Wednesday. I dropped it off Tuesday, and the technicians said they could do it right away, so I wouldn’t have to come in again. Sarah and Parker did a great job. Definitely come back here again for future needs

Boston Ski + Tennis: what do users think?
Yan Li: Shawn was incredibly professional and patient with my boot fitting there. It’s my first pair of ski boots and I had his undeniably devoted attention and time to find my true fit. He explained everything about ski boots thoroughly in the meantime. This is one of the rare moments you’d feel faithful again about situations where you have to spend quite some money but relying on other people’s expertise. This place is where you look for honest recommendations. I’m only writing this because Shawn’s hard work truly deserves a shoutout here.
Denys, Dave, Lilly, Nathan, And Elizabeth Caplan: Never again. Sheer chaos! Rented ski and snowboard equipment for my teens and 10yr old. It was an overwhelming hassle, a lot of confusion, very crowded, we had an appointment but still a lot of waiting, some of the young employees didn’t really know what they were doing. One of my teens never got her skis. We rented the boots, the skis were supposed to come a few days later. We got a call that the skis were in, when we showed up they were not there. No one seemed to know what was going on. We gave up on her skis and rented at the ski resort. Only positive thing I can say is that the employees were very nice and polite.
BJKlaas: Absolutely superb experience. I went from hardly being able to ski one weekend because of the pain in both feet to skiing 46k vertical feet the next weekend with no pain. Sean's attention to detail was impressive. He put in a footbed in my existing boots (not bought there) and did some boot work and I got my boots back in just over 24 hours. I was shocked that I had no pain and never felt better in any boot! I was highly skeptical that anything would work before my appointment given how much pain I had been in that week, so I just can't boast enough about my great experience. Thanks Sean!
Jerónimo Ayesta: They really do not want to help you. I’d choose anywhere else in the Boston area.
Emilio Spadola: A HUGE thank you to Ryan Cook for the superb boot fitting. You've transformed skiing for me from a blister-filled ordeal to the enjoyable sport I remember from my 20s. Thank you! Some specifics:1) Ryan's an experienced teacher and it shows. Before starting, he explained the overall aim and process of the fitting very clearly. Given the cost of new boots, I obviously wanted to get the fitting right, and I got that. More than that I got a lesson in boot fitting, so when my 13 year old needed new boots mid season, I knew how to find him used boots that fit very well.2) The fitting is multi step but because Ryan explained things beforehand, I knew what to expect and what i should be looking for, so I felt like I was making a solid and informed choice at each point rather than wavering or having to flip a mental coin. (Having skied more than ever this season, I clearly did.)3) I really wanted my feet not to hurt, and the shop offers some extra-cost options, heat-molded liners, etc., which I was planning to buy. Based on on my feet and the fitting, though, Ryan thought I'd be fine without it, and i have. So that saved me some $$.All in all, a great experience and product --and I convinced my wife to treat herself to a fitting next seasonThanks again, Ryan!
James Catalano: I needed goggles to go skiing last min and could not get the ones that I wanted online. On my way out of Boston, I took a chance and stopped at this store. I had such a lovely experience with the women who helped me pick out a new pair of goggles. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name but she was extremely knowledgeable of all the different brands/price points. I can not speak highly enough of how helpful she was. Thank you again!
Kate Qadir: Ryan helped me fit my existing boots and was great. Couldn’t recommend this place enough
Demi Marie: I rented boards for the season and they were very helpful.
Daniel Mirabito: Very knowledgeable staff for boot fitting. I worked with Ryan Cook boot fitter, for original boot buy and follow up fit adjustments I needed.
brian rae: This store pops up when you search for snowboard shops, but they do not sell snowboards. Drove all the way out there and they where not apolegetic at all.
gina Allen: Fantastic experience and well worth the time and money. The manager, Garrett, was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. He recommended my husband work with a boot customizing expert which was spot on. My husband loves the fit and is now skiing painlessly. I would recommend BS&T to anyone who Skis and/or plays Tennis because of our flawless experience.
Jordan Hakes: I came here for seasonal ski rentals and couldn't be happier with the service I received. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Miguel Morillo: Worst experience ever on the Newtown store by the young sky rental guys.Very disrespectful and very unprofessional because we don't have an appoiment when we just wanted to understand how the overal rental process works. Yes, we are newbies and first time customers (and possible the last one)If you don't want to even reply your clients questions just close the store and we will find other alternatives to expend our money.
Juewei Dong: It’s mixed feelings going into this shop. They have exellent boot fitters, I bought my pair of ski boots here, the boot fitter was very helpful although my small feet was a bit challenging to fit and the boot fitter was very patient and ask me a lot of questions making sure I was comfortable with it, I was satisfied with it.The front desk and tune shop was a different story. I was told by the boot fitter that I’ll have a discount on adjusting the bindings since I got my boots new here. Today I went into the store, the guy took my boots and skis at the tune shop was disinterested in my questions regarding the discount, turned me to the front desk. Alright I guess it’s another case of ‘I don’t care that much cuz I didn’t take your order’. He took my skis, laying it against the edge of the desk, letting it to rub against the desk while it certainly wanted to fall. And whenever that happens every 3 seconds, he’d just quickly push it back with one hand, like playing a balancing game with it when there are a lot of racks to put on the skis just right behind him.I turned to the front desk asking questions about the discount, the staff didn’t know that but was nice enough to ask other employees. However, she then got back to me telling me to pay it without any explanations, letting you feel unwelcome.By the way, it would take 2 weeks to do a basic cleanup and adjustment. I’ve done it in other shops that will finish it within just 3-4 days.I would not try to save a bit of driving time and do my tuning here in the future. Ski monsters is doing much better than this shop.
Mark Fraga: Can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff know their stuff, they are passionate about skiing and they are great at working with mortals like me (not an expert skier) to set me up with the right gear to maximize my joy on the slopes. From Jack who helped me pick out skis to Rick who fitted me with boots and everybody else I have met, the team are personable and dedicated to helping us customers. I’ve had the same experience in past years when renting and buying skis for my kids - that’s why we keep going back!
Mirkamran Abdullayev: I have been renting my ski equipment from them for years. Recently I had my custom boot fitting and ski selection and once again I realized how good this place is. My boot fitter Shaun was super helpful and very professional. I recommend this place to everyone.
JChockey22 (JChockey22): This place is amazing for Ski boot fitting .. I was just adrift trying to find my new pair of boots multiple shops etc .. Then I was told to come here at first I felt guilty for "cheating" on my regular shop but once I got there and and sat on there boot fitting throne I realized why this place was recommended .. Rick really was amazing measuring my feet and then put me in perfect boot for my foot I learned my feet were a lot different shape and size wise than what I had come to believe ... once I had my boot then Ryan took over and adjusted made my foot beds and did the final fitting .. (Ryan is boot fitting Jesus IMO ) so if you are needing a new pair or looking to get your 1st pair go to Boston Ski and Tennis you will be amazed at there work !
Rob McCarthy: Great staff, annual. Leases are a deal for kids skis.
Alireza Nezhad: I participate in store tennis racquet demo program. After trying few racquets, I finally made my mind to buy one of them. I went to store to order the racquet. The person in tennis section was not up to the job. Seems not familiar with policies of demo program. e.g. when he gave me the final quote, he initially did not subtract $ 30 for participating in demo program. I expect more from local store. Disappointing experience !Follow up:Stephanie, manger of tennis section, called me to express her apologies for what happened. She kindly help me to order the new racquet and even offer to do free stringing. Excited to see the new racquet !! Thank you.
Nicolas: Perfect to buy tennis rackets. You can try them out.
Arhan S. Ertan (Arhanious): great tennis equipment and trial plans...

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Matthew Capobianco: Terrible customer experience. Little to no help with little experience. In order to sell a 200 shoe you need to have someone that can field the most basic questions which they lack completely.
Molly Pratt: Service in the shoe section was very poor. If there is no way for customers to grab sizes then there should be more than one person to help.
T R: This location is my favorite it’s always organized and has lots in stock. Staff is always kind and helpful. My family and I enjoy this store.
Sonya Owens: Awful customer service.....on the phone for 20mins because they said it's that busy. Get to store and there are lots of workers aimlessly walking around passing the buck they will find someone. Awful just Awful and it's not even crowded.
Eazy: Place is an absolute dump
Jason c: store Always tries to close earlier about 8:48pm ish then whats told on google and website. Just was too pleasant when you drive 1hr to get here. Also the manager's there are very unprofessional!! Be aware, I would think cooperate should look into who they hire as head manager's. Trying to give my honest opinion as I don't often write reviews ! Thanks and will never recommend this location!
Samir Sell: Melhor loja de esportes.
John G: So this guy Nolan was so so helpful! He actually went to the back inventory to find me exactly what I was looking for. Wow! This place I awesome they always have what I need and people like Nolan really make things super easy
Alfred Anzalone: , store is closed at 8:40PM. Unfortunately can’t give a good store rating if I can’t shop at the store when they’re supposed to be open.
Waldo Emerson: The managers were rude and the store was a mess. I couldn’t get one person to help me
Ryan Couture: Lied about hours made me spend a 50$ on uber. Dotn trust these people!
Miranda Pearce: I had low expectations when I first went there because it seems like a big chain, but the staff were knowledgeable and helpful and I was totally won over. They were sort of under staffed, but that is common right now.
Walter Stred: Very well stocked store, and the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Michael Bessler: Great people make this store so good
Barry Lee: Awesome selection and very organized.Prices are not always the lowest but convenience is probably the reason for that.
Mark J: Pretty good sporting goods retailer. Wish they put prices directly on the merchandise. There is often confusion because items can be stocked in the wrong shelf location where prices are displayed. That's my only complaint.Staff is courteous and helpful.
MA Rahman: it’s a lot of pretty inner things that seem to see it is Very beautiful
Rich Marino (Rich): Nice selection of saltwater and freshwater fishing tackle & accessories. Be prepared to spend some time here compared to Walmart. Definitely has some premium offerings versus cheap grade only. By the time you shop online and pay for the shipping you might as well just go in-store. Convenience and in-store see-it-in-person shopping at old site of the Meadow Glen Mall in Medford. Bought some nice Blue Label Seaguar 30 lb fluorocarbon leader. Happy.
Tom Demeo: Had to return sneakers very quick and efficiently
saheli das: Do not waste your time going here. They don’t have anything you’d be interested in and the store is really understaffed. It felt like they were doing me a big favour when I asked them for literally anything.
Morgan Bertram: Staff was helpful stock was limited and to much space was used on strictly men's equipment

Charles River Canoe & Kayak : Allston Brighton: what do users think?
Andi Su: Great activity to relax on the water. They have various locations across the city but this is my preferred one. Not only because it's the closest to my home but also because there's free parking and it's not that crowded. It's probably a little more difficult to get to if you're a tourist or don't have a car (just Uber it ;))They have plenty of kayaks and life vests in all sizes (for all ages). They even have tiny paddles for the little ones to help out when going out in a tandem kayak. And if you're local and go there regularly they have an annual membership that is a great bargain as it basically gives you unlimited access to a kayak.I highly recommend the trip downstream. You can go past the university boat houses and down to see Harvard from the river. It's never too crowded and very nice sight seeing.Just keep in mind that the paddle back is a little tougher as it's upstream. And the sun can be brutally hot out on the water in the summer months.
Siddharth: Beautiful place to spend summer afternoons!
Andrew Zoller: Awesome spot to rent a kayak or SUP!
Mary: great staff, easy process to secure quote for pricing and finalize rentals. Easy instructions process.
L k: Friendly team and nice place .
Calvin Hobbs: Best rental in Boston.Plenty of parking and the service is professional and courteous.
Ryan Glick: Fairly priced rentals if you are looking to spend some time exploring the Charles River. They have many rentals to choose from, so they can easily accommodate large groups.
Jennifer Jh: Had fun except for the rude crew teams and person who struck our boat from behind. Luckily none of our dogs went overboard 🐕
Mashud Uddin: Had a Amazing time with my family. You have to go early to get the free parking specially week end or holidays. Stuff were very nice and friendly.
9 Wu: Went on July 4th! Absolutely impressive view!
Sarah Gold: Easy and fun!I rented a double kayak and a paddle with friends and it was pretty fun. ( see prices on pictures) we lasted an 1.5h and the weather was amazing! We came in without a reservation day of and we go it right away. ( just have to sign a waiver)I definitely recommend.
annmarie nagelin: Plenty of kayaks . More importantly, plenty of staff. Very efficient setup.
Cecile Braun-Jones: Love the place. Wish it opened at 830am (UPADE: they now do!) Great team, good equipment and nice starting point whether you are going towards DT or NewtonUpdate 9.15.18: had our first bad experience there this morning. We had a fairly large group - 4 families totaling 14 ppl- and were treated rudely from the time we arrived. Two staff members at the check in booth couldn't have been less welcoming and one even lectured my husband In a very patronizing way. Very disappointed in out experience as customers and members.Update 6/10/22: two small groups behind us took a long time to figure out their plans. Once I got to the window the system started having issues. Instead of holding us up, the gentleman helping us tok.dinw our info, had us pay and sent us on our way so we could enjoy the river and deal w the system when we came back and it's fixed.
Emma Popowski: 33 dollars for a kayak rental with plenty of free parking! Super easy and lots of fun! Also dog friendly!
Peter AlmeidA: awesome
Nithila: This was to the side of a busy road, but definitely worth stopping by with a few friends. The counter lady was nice and explained a lot about canoeing. Quick registration. I would recommend to research a little bit about how to kayak/canoe if you don’t already know beforehand. The boating itself was very calming and on a bright sunny day its the perfect activity to cool down and relax. Big river with lots of room to go wherever you like.
Chris Dunn: Buy a membership great buy. See nature, get exercise, helpful and friendly staff.
Valerie Park: Peaceful kayaking and fun weekend activity
Nadia Tareen: Had a very dangerous experience with Paddle Boston and would NOT recommend to anyone. We were not informed that there was a huge crew race happening on the river that day, with 100+ boats coming at very high speeds all morning. We were told that we had to stay to the side, as close to shore as possible, and were not given options to reschedule. The staff provided no instructions on how to navigate the kayaks nor any safety precautions for first timers. My kayak collided with a racing boat in a narrow section of the river under a bridge. I had three very hard hits to my head with their paddles and am still experiencing symptoms from this mild concussion. While I am the only one who had an injury, my friends also had trouble steering their kayaks and many were also at risk of collision with the crew races.Such race events are planned far in advance and this situation should have been made clear before we traveled far distances to arrive for our kayak trip. I am traumatized, still healing, and will never recommend this company to anyone. Worst of all, when I called the company to report the incident, they were extremely rude and unapologetic, and even blamed me for the accident. Stay far away.
Alexander S: There really should be a basic tutorial for people who have never paddled before. Saw a lot of struggling tandems who might have fared better with basic instruction. My own group also received no instruction. Also would be nice if they told you a bit about what can be seen up/down river.Just small things to improve the customer experience would go a long way.Otherwise, staff is friendly and the boats are clean. I recommend watching a basic kayaking video on YouTube before stopping in.Ps: I worked at a kayak shop.
Amreesh Raghavan: Good experience renting kayaks here. The kayaks were in good shape, no issues. The staff were helpful, getting in and out of the kayak.

Charles River Canoe and Kayak: Cambridge, Kendall Square: what do users think?
Brian Watson: They have a monopoly on T-accessible spots to rent kayaks/SUPs. The Season Pass ends up being a really good deal. However they're always so consistently rude and it always seems like nobody actually wants to be working there 😂. I don't understand their business process when there's a huge line and only 1 person at the registration table and yet 5 other people standing around elsewhere. But for the record 2023 will be my 4th year doing their Season Pass program so...yeah.
Gordon Fu: Lovely and considerate stuff - gave us time to get water before the starting time of the kayak. It’s a little bit pricey so definitely consider getting the seasonal pass!
Reyhan U: not a tourist trap. bit pricey but def worth it. views from the charles river is amazing.
Euro Leon: Great service and fun place to go with friends
Laura von D: I hope the kayak boat could be more clean….and hope they empty the water in the boat after each use….
Christian Roman: Kayaking is about is good as kayaking gets once you leave behind the most rude staff even by Boston standards. There’s nothing like having employees openly talk bad about you and be condescending. If I could leave negative stars I would, do yourself a favor and don’t go here, listen to the other negative reviews
Cassidy Burk: My fiancé and I rented a tandem kayak through the team at Paddle Boston this past weekend and had a great time! The check in process was very straightforward and only required us to watch a short video regarding safety and rules before signing a waiver and getting out on the river! The views were incredible and the experience felt very safe. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to see the city skyline from a new angle!
goutham shetty: I suggest you buy the Annual membership. It’s totally worth it.
Mark: It was nice experience. Expensive, but nice
annmarie nagelin: It was a great day on the river. It was an extremely hot day, but there were plenty of kayaks available. The people working were efficient and kept the line moving.
Kim Fournier: Love it! Was there the last 2 weekends. Easy process. Reasonable price. Paddling the Charles is breathtaking. Free on street parking on Sundays.
John F: Wonderful Kayak rental. The area is beautiful, and the staff are very helpful. My friend left her keys in our kayak, and they were able to find them for her. I hope to go again soon
Belle T: We were super lucky to have Lori as our Sunset & City Light Tour trip. She guided us well and informed us interesting information about Boston. In addition, the sunset 🌅 was SPECTACULAR!!! It was a great trip for both me and my friend who just moved to Boston!**Do note that even though this is a 1.5-2hr trip, you are paddling to get moving! So, it’s a good intro and workout for out-of-shape people like us!
Andrew Nagelin: Great location on the Broad canal.Plenty of kayaks and they were busy on a hot Saturday afternoon
James Galinas: The kayak experience itself is great & the price is affordable. My 1 star review is simply about the customer service. My parents are in their early 70's and were in town and wanted to challenge themselves to kayak the Charles (admirable!). Needless to say, with their age, it was not easy for them to get in and out of the kayaks with bad hips/legs/etc.My mother was having trouble getting out of the kayak and ended up rolling out of it onto the deck when one of the workers quipped - "we call that the beached whale technique" and started laughing at her expense.About as inexcusable as you can get.
AJ 1776: Had an amazing day here. Well run with helpful staff.
Sierra Bravo: Perfecto para pasar el día, el precio por el Kayak es adecuado.A veces suelen hacer descuentos
Himalaya Kilaru: I have been here a few times . The view is amazing . Staff is friendly . Would be visiting again for sure .
g zeynep: Rude staff
shriti jaiswal: We doubted if we would get any rentals since it was walk in. Plenty of rentals available. Neat and well maintained equipment and staff. We could quickly get on with our kayaking. The kayak was stable and good quality. Had a lot of fun. The view during the kayak was incredible. You can see most of the Boston skyline.
Nate Cole: I've been here a couple of times before and there hasn't been any problems but their service has been consistently degrading every single time. The workers are not very helpful, rude and seem untrained to do basic tasks. The check-in process is long and they do not do a good job of explaining things to beginners (I had several of my friends who never kayaked but were shocked at how unfriendly the staff was). If you're reading this, there are better places in Boston that will charge you less and treat you better, go there!

Darth Riatch: I'm fairly new to the LL Bean scene & have been pleasantly surprised by the friendly & helpful staff exhibiting excellent customer service in this Boston Seaport store location as well as the few headquarter reps I've spoken to over the phone. Merchandise is great quality that I can tell will last quite some time with normal wear & care. I'm now a loyal customer & will always keep my eyes open for new apparel & footwear... THANK YOU, LL Bean!
Anne-Marie: We tried a few pairs of the Bean Boots and were helped by a very friendly associate. He was very quick to bring everything out and placed no pressure on us at all (we ended up ordering a pair online). Furthermore, he was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. Overall this was a very pleasant shopping experience!

Paddleboston : Blessing of the Bay, Somerville: what do users think?
Robin Yukiko: Great experience! My kids and I were able to have a unique little adventure on the water. We got to see swans, herons, geese, and other birds. The staff was friendly, safety oriented, and able to answer all our questions. I would definitely do this again.
L k: Friendly nice place
K Saulnier: I looove this company, been a member for years. This location features the same friendly and personable experience as you'd expect from every PB location. You can paddle the Mystic all the way to the beautiful lake upriver, or go past Assembly and up the Malden River, or if you have an air horn and a spray skirt you can go through the locks into the Inner Harbor. You can park at Assembly and take a nice walk along the river to the boathouse, or park nearby. Thanks!
Angélica Carneiro: Great place
Shaikeh Kab: Amazing experience have a day off and paddle
Ken Levine (KSL'72LLC): Fun place to grab a canoe or kayak on the Mystic river. Reasonable rates and definitely focused on guest safety.
Tim Allen: Great facility and people. Beautiful stretch of river.
John Ogren: Cool place to watch Crew
Lyle Gordon: Nice fiberglass canoe with friendly staff. Enjoyed a leisurely canoe along the river.
Melaku T: No more hourly charge because of Covid. We paid $49 for each boat (regardless of type) we got there at 5:00pm and they told us that we can stay on the water until they close.Tips: During summer, go after 6 to avoid sun burn from reflection.
Ada F.: Beautiful nature
Didi Dotan: Winds can be hard there, but easy to launch
Steven Chin: Wonderful for a family kayaking trip. Crew was wonderful, helpful, friendly and courteous. Water was cool, light breeze and sun was out. Glad we all put on sunscreen. Great Father's Day fun. Highly recommend!
Louise Boyd: Beautiful scenery. Lots of geese, swans and turtles. I walk around this area so it was great to see it from this point of view
Andres Townes: There's a gym and decent Pokemon park and you can get to 2 more gyms
Jonatta Santos: Bom
Alex Frolov: The river looks like ecological disaster. This is probably because of the dam that restricting the flow. The shoreline looks like a dump.
Thien N: Very convenient. Great staff.
C K: The area itself is beautiful and a natural spot for kayaking. The guides who set you up seemed like college kids who were not overly concerned for your safety or maybe were not trained to go over what to look out for when on the water. Like the fact that local boaters will be driving full speed through the kayaking launch area to get the near by marina. Many local boaters were obnoxiously driving fast and close to kayakers. A heads up would’ve been nice! They also do not keep track of which kayak you take out, or if you returned on time. As we returned the kayak we gave our name to the same girl that set us up. We said good night thank you and left around 6:30pm. I received a phone call at 9pm from the same girl who said she was looking for us and wasn’t sure if we came back? Very strange but hope they read this and can close any safety gaps in how they train as well as take down peoples info.
Daniel C. Nee: The best wildlife viewing site this eagle scout has ever seen
Dan: There is a certain stillness that prevails in this area of urbanization.
