madeline maignan: I will never use this auto body shop anymore. This is actually the first and the last time. There is no form of communication at all starting from the beginning, no updates on work they are doing. They had known that because of covid, auto parts will be back ordered and take longer to get here but they never mention it to customers about it but rather telling customers lies that the car will be ready in 2-3 weeks knowing the fact that it will not. They never bother to mention there's a possibility that there might be some delay on parts or giving me the choice to decide if I want to live my car for that long to get fix. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If there was a negative zero stars that's what I would have given them for what they did to me. I could have bring the car during my vacation if I was informed that the work is going to take longer. Vanity Hair Salon: So grateful for these guys! Dom and his crew made my car look brand new. My bumper needed to be replaced after being hit while parked. They even got out the few “dings” from someone opening their car door into mine. Nicholas Milkovich: I would describe this experience as odd. This is my first car, and first accident. So I’m not sure how this is supposed to go. But if you’re looking for transparency, this is not the place. They had my car for 3 weeks and not once did they call me to give me updates, tell me what was damaged, even tell me when the car was ready for pickup. 3 weeks seems like a long time to hold on to a car, when the accident was extremely minor cosmetic damage. I’m sure they aren’t lying that there was more internal damage that wasn’t visible, but I now understand the joke about body shops finding another $5000 worth of damage to your car on top of the $1800 estimate. Fine fine, but call me and explain it to me. Have the decency to tell me why it’s that much and what you found. Horrible first experience. At least my car looks nice.

DO NOT get your car repaired here. i asked them to call me with an update but they only contacted me when they wanted insurance money.

My neighbor hit my car and wanted to pay out of pocket so once the parts they needed to order had arrived they completed the work within 4 days. On top of that they cleaned and detailed my car and took care of a few other minor scratches on the outside.Hopefully I won't have to come back, but if I ever need work done again I know where I'm going!Thank you Boston Body Work Team!

Michael Katz: Went there for a car repair. They gave me a quote on the spot and took it home. Went to two other places for quotes and they had the best price. Went back for service and they charged me the quotes amount which I appreciated. They cleaned the inside and outside of the car. Great service and the people were friendly and helpful. Very efficient.
Van Tran: The receptionist Mandy is exceptionally rude except when you give your credit card information. When asked a question, her response is annoyance, saying "oh my god" and rolling her eyes. Her temperament is very unpleasant on almost all occasions. However, when you hand money or pay, she acts very cheerful. A warning, if you send emails, if you expect a response, I recommend a different repair shop. If you meet her at reception, I highly suggest driving your car to a different body shop. No customer deserves that kind of disrespect especially with how much money you pay.

Emre Gulturk: Can't say that I recommend. Took my Volvo for a minor damage on bumper and grill, they ended up taking 15 days to repair and billed insurance for over $7.5k for it. Communication is weak, car has a remote connection with a full event journal so I could see that more than one week after dropping off they didn't even touch the car yet, called them about it and after 5 minutes of course they start working on it.When it comes to payment, I received multiple calls for the balance I'll pay when I come in versus the zero calls I received during the rest of the process.In overall, if you have an option go elsewhere - they don't care about the customer much, looking for a big payday from the insurance
Ross Doty: Had a series of unfortunate experiences here that showed a complete lack of communication, customer service, care and attention to detail. Would not recommend using this body shop.I brought my car in for bodywork as tree branch had fallen on my car. This shop originally quoted 5-7 days for the work. I showed up 7 days later and was told that no parts had arrived and work hadn't started yet. I was frustrated that I had to show up to get this information and didn't get a call. I was told to come back in a week. I came back a week later and was told the parts STILL hadn't arrived. I told the shop I needed the car back and would bring it back when they received the parts. Magically, the parts arrived and I was told I could pick the car up that afternoon.When I picked the car up it was still dusty and trim pieces that were removed were not re-attatched but just left loose in place. Work took twice as long as quoted but still felt like a rush job.About a month later, I noticed water leaking into the car right where the work was done and a mold smell. I brought the car back to Acme and spoke to Steve who quickly looked at the car and said "I can't find where the leak is coming from, but these things happen, its not our fault". I brought it to another shop who identified a loose drain hose directly next to where the work was done by ACME- either disconnected by the original damage or by the work.I brought it back to ACME with this information and Steve again denied any responsibility. Refused to look at the car again, and refused to admit the possibility that the leak was caused by the original damage and not fixed by the shop, or caused by the work itself.My insurance finally has agreed that the water leak is associated with the damage and subsequent work, but not after I had to drive around with a moldy car for weeks.Cannot stress enough the lack of care, communication and customer service at this location. Also my car was fixed earlier than promised, and with great quality too. Finally, when picking up my car, they said I can leave the rental with them and they'll take care of the rest. Vitaly & Rob know what they’re doing. I didn’t catch the ladies names at the front desk but even they have the most positive attitude one can expect from a working professional. The communication was 10/10 throughout the whole process. My rear passenger side window was broken and I did not know where to go but Rob & Vitaly reassured me that the process would be smooth. I paid out of pocket, no insurance and it did not break the bank. I had a front lip installed as well and though they stated they don’t typically do that kind of work they exceeded my expectations. The owner and his team are a class act and pride themselves on an unparalleled customer service experience. My vehicle recently suffered an unfortunate accident so I reached out to AA to request a quote. Not only were they timely and accurate with their estimate, but they fixed my car in essentially two business days! When I arrived to pick-up the vehicle, they walked me through the entire repair process and ensured that all of my questions were fully answered. The damage is completely gone and the paint matches perfectly. It looks like a brand new car! I was also incredibly impressed with the high-level detail that they performed prior to pick-up. Stephanie Vasquez: What a horrible experience this shop was for my car. I took the car here after an accident to be repaired and it was a nightmare. I picked up the car with my wheel tilted, the car did not have an alignment done. The guy at the shop said to take it to a nearby gas station and we will reimburse you the money for an alignment. That's what the insurance already paid them for... also my car still was making a noise while driving, the guy said they only do what they get paid for and they didn't test drive the car because they aren't "allowed" to. Geico helped me out in bringing my car to another place to have it looked at and found there were many other problems with the car that the shop should have addressed to me since the car is not safe to drive like this. Not sure how this place has good reviews because the owner was rude and apparently my "expectations were too high" to have my car fixed.Service:Body Trim

Charles Tyler Turner: I had major damage to my RAV4 in a hit and had N&J work with my insurance company to get everything fixed. Everyone at N&J were great to work with, super communicative, and willing to go the extra mile. I barely had to deal with my insurance or adjusters at all once N&J got the car. When I picked up, the interior was freshly detailed...a nice touch I didn't expect. Everything looked perfectly done, and you couldn't tell anything had happened to the car. Honestly looked brand new inside and out. My RAV4 started throwing a code about a month later. N&J handled that repair for FREE, when I was expecting to have to get insurance back involved...a nightmare I was very glad to avoid. They also turned it around super quickly knowing that I had recently moved to Worcester and getting there and back was tricky without the car. Los Verde: What I can tell you about N&J auto body is these guys are some of the most respectful people I’ve ever met, they are honest with their quotes, they really try to save you money any chance they can, they won’t replace things that don’t need to be replaced in vehicles and most importantly they do great work. They won’t put out a vehicle they aren’t completely satisfied with themselves, it’s hard to find good/genuine mechanics but if you’re looking for the real deal, N&J auto body I assure you are the guys to call!

But my experience with 1st auto glass of East Boston was so great that I feel compelled to do so. I went to them in dire situation and i was so desperate. They could have easily taken advantage of me like the 2 places before them but they didnt. So did they, the second time. They quoted me for 1/5 of the prices given and expeience best way i could save money and fix the problem. They could have totally taken advantage as he could see I absolutely had no idea and was never in that position before. If you don't call that honest than I don't know what it is. Two weeks ago, they helped me again and gave me the cheapest option and let me get my own parts to save money. I was quoted for thos work $750 and I got it fixed for $225.
