Peter Kelsey: Careful prep work, including scraping, feather sanding, wedge venting where necessary, with cleanup after every workday. Two coats applied by brush or roller, using an airless pump to speed application (but not apply the paint) where practical. Careful protection of nearby automobiles and ground surfaces with drop cloths. As a former painting contractor, I can say I was impressed by their workmanship and delighted with the result. I expect this paint job will hold up much longer than the previous job.The job went smoothly in a very reasonable time frame. The painters were respectful and pleasant to have around, very hard workers. Robert is easy to work with and careful to get things right. He corrected a color mistake the same day at no extra cost. He accommodated the special need of one of the owners by not working on her part of the building on certain days. The price was very reasonable for a 4 unit townhouse structure in pretty bad shape. No reservations in recommending RB Painting.

John Scola: I worked with Costa Painting Services & Carpentry in March 2022 to have the entirety of our home’s interior painted. We purchased the house at the end of February and wanted to have the interior painted before we moved in. Adilson came onsite for an estimate and was right on time for the estimate appointment, which I appreciated. I received a couple other estimates from other painting companies and Costa’s was by far the most reasonable. We ended up also asking Adilson’s team to put shoe molding around the baseboard throughout the home and the pricing on that was also reasonable. I was very impressed with the speed with which the team completed the job (basically 4 days for an 1,800 SF house, they worked a Saturday even though I didn’t ask them to). (Motti Painting will also complete the exterior painting on our fences and porch in Spring 2023). We are returning customers. Our exterior house panting was also done by Motti in 2016.This project required detailed and intricate repair of two bedrooms--walls, ceilings, trims, closets and drawers; hallways on three floors; stairs and balusters; and, a vestibule. Motti’s crew installed two new ceilings in the bedrooms, pulled down the wall papers, plastered holes and other imperfections in all the walls and ceilings, patched up ceilings in the vestibule and other areas. The carpentry work on the stairs were done very efficiently. After significant repair and prep work, the final coat of paint looked smooth and flawless.Daniel Motti is highly professional, patient, honest, and remarkably efficient. He provided a detailed and clear proposal and payment plan. He was always available via e-mail/phone for quick and thorough responses.
