Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop: what do users think?
Daniel Gulyas: Lovely spot just around the corner. All great products and staff.
Jennifer M.: We had the BEST cake from Oakleaf at our wedding. The detail went above and beyond, they perfectly executed our cake vision, not to mention, it was delicious too!
Ben Amerault: Thank you for the amazing cake, Madison! I will definitely return for all of my future cake orders. I highly recommend Oakleaf!
Rachel Amerault: Madison at Oak Leaf made my birthday cake so special. It was obvious she put thought and care into the creation of this cake. Truly was so special to enjoy with family on my birthday!
Kayla Pringle: As someone with an egg allergy, it’s not common for me to have a great tasting birthday cake. Oakleaf has managed to make two amazing gourmet cakes in my life in the past year; the first being the most delicious Pumpkin Spice vegan cake that was my wonderful birthday cake I don’t think I’ve ever had cake that good!! The second was for my partner and was a lovely red velvet cake that I’m still waiting for someone to share a slice with me! The customer service when ordering the one for my partner was phenomenal and I truly trust no other shop when it comes to cakes!
brianlidawg: Great spot to grab a quick brekkie! Very quaint atmosphere combined with stellar pastries and coffee give the place a warmth and homey feel. They make their own Chai latte blend and its delicious! Their croissants are tasty too! 10/10 would recommend!
Robert Tucker: Outclass service
Jacob V: Oak Leaf did our wedding cake, and it was absolutely perfect. Aside from tasting amazing, they worked with us to customize certain decor on the cake, including adding a fondant figure of our dog on the side which looked exactly like him. The delivery was smooth and well on time in advance of our ceremony/reception, and the cake itself was a hit on our dessert table.
Cam Collyer: This is not a latte! Please, if you are going to charge $4.50 for a latte, please make it a latte!
Daniel Bergen: I got the chocolate lovers gourmet cake for my mother's 80th birthday, 5" for an astounding $40 and it wasn't chocolatey at all, the frosting only tasted like butter and sugar, and I got bad heartburn. Definitely not worth it.Response to reply below: not only did I ensure it served at room temperature as they tell you repeatedly, I wondered what it is about these cakes that they are so insistent that they are served that way. I have had lots of cakes before that were served chilled that tasted fine, maybe they are skimping on ingredients. Anyway, this cake wasn't very good and not worth the money.
David Chang: I had a chocolate chunk cookie and pumpkin spice oat latte as a snack while passing by. Cute little cafe with a relaxed vibe. Loved it
Madison Whitley: Oakleaf made the cutest custom cookies for our wedding welcome bags. They were almost too pretty to eat, but the ones we ate were delicious. Thank you Liz & team!
Ruth Nore: Best Chai I've had in a long time!
Vivian Carrera, née Chen: My husband's favorite anime is Dragon Ball Z, so when it was almost his birthday, I decided that I was going to get him a Dragon Ball Z cake. I found multiple top rated bakeries in and near Boston. To my chagrin, all of the bakeries turned me down because making a Dragon Ball Z was not considered very Instagram-worthy.I kept on looking, however, and finally found Oakleaf Cakes. I contacted them with barely a line of notes because I assumed Oakleaf would just turn me down. To my surprise, with only 6-7 days until my husband's birthday, Oakleaf said it would make the cake!Because Oakleaf was not among the highest rated bakeries in Boston, I expected an intricate cake due to the high price, but did not expect a great tasting cake. I was wrong! As someone who generally does not enjoy cakes, I actually really loved the chocolate chocolate cake Oakleaf made for my husband! My husband also loved how the cake looked and cherished it so much that he could not bring himself to eat the dragon fondant sculpture until it went bad!We are so impressed!
Chris E: They literally misspelled my girlfriend’s name on the cake. You had one job… Will update on the flavor.
Chris Shen: Amazing baked goods (both traditional and vegan) are matched with a great variety of hot and icy drinks... so good!
Isamary Garcia: Red velvet ombré cake was beautiful & delicious!
Nicholas Price: Several years ago, before we got married, my wife got a birthday cake from Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop. It was filled with realistic jasmine flowers made out of frosting. It was so beautiful and delicious that we knew we needed Oakleaf to prepare the cakes for our wedding day. And they did not disappoint in the least. For our wedding, they provided three elegant and delicious cakes to sit on top of platforms on our desert table. In addition, we ordered a large number of macaron's accentuate the beauty of the cakes and the rest of the desert table. And yet again, both the cakes and macarons were delicious. The staff were friendly and easy to work with. They delivered everything to the venue on time. We would highly recommend working with Oakleaf for any special cakes you need.
Susan Sommers: Staff was wonderful, but the cake was tasteless. We bought a little chocolate cake with white icing for my husband’s birthday. It was a beautiful cake and well done, just had no flavor to the cake. The icing texture was wonderful, but, again, lacking flavor - definitely not your average buttercream sweetness. (The cake was served appropriately two hours out of the shop’s display case.) The sugar cookie tasted like shortening rather than buttery. So disappointed. Five stars for the staff, one star for the cake and cookie. Bottom line, not our style of cake.
Anne Chao: 可愛的蛋糕店!杯子蛋糕真是好吃店員人都很好,我每次都會去點冰巧克力雖然菜單上沒有但他們都會人很好的讓我點~優質的小小蛋糕咖啡店~~~
Randi Simons: I ordered a vegan cake from Oakleaf. It looked beautiful was wonderful to eat. I had some confusion about my payment when I placed the order, and ended up having to call and ask them to cancel the order so I could resubmit it. Communication was a bit difficult because no one answers the phone when you call, but my calls were returned and I got all the assistance I needed, so I was grateful for that. Would definitely recommend.

Flour Bakery & Cafe: what do users think?
KaLe E: Arrived on Saturday late morning for lunch. Ordered two sandwiches: braised lamb, and achiote chicken! Wanted go indulge and get the sticky buns for dessert, but atlas they ran out already. Both sandwiches were 10/10!!!!!The lamb was flavorful and very filling. Whereas the achiote chicken was light and refreshing.Meter street parking is available.
Harry Golnazarian: This is a wonderful cafe with great customer service. Extra stars if I could, for always having full water bowls for the doggos at the front.
Rachel: Great avocado toast. Wish I would have gotten a pastry instead of the merange peep but it was cute for Easter.
Sonia Barbosa: This is my birthday cake spot. The lemon raspberry cake is the all time favorite
Madison Burns: This place was really good for lunch! Had a BLT sandwich with added chicken. It was a little pricey, but worth it. Good location as well! Matcha was delicious. Would recommend :)
SuEllen Yoder: Cozy atmosphere and great bakery selection. We enjoyed the quiche and breakfast sandwich. The food is of good quality and flavor. We also ate a sticky bun, the caramel sauce and pecans are the perfect combination.
JM: Perfect job on not only pre-ordering a special event cake, but the end result was fantastic. Just a great job to all that took care of my requested order. Wouldn't hesitate to use for special event, as they showed the reliability to get it done and get it made perfectly...Brava to all involved.Oh. Parking sucks. Nothing to do with their operation, but it is what it is inside the city.
shay goncalves: Walked in this morning a bit of a wait didn't feel welcome i ask for 2 ham&cheese croissant was told didn't have it then i asked bacon egg&cheese on wheat bread they only have multigrain it was way too much yapping one person on register complete joke#BLACK LIVES MATTER
Sofia Briskin: Tasty food and great service
clov: really good breakfast sandwich but i think it made me sick + the wait was kinda long
Colin: I got a black coffee and a ginger chocolate scone and both were very good. A little pricey for me, but probably about right for the area.
Charlie Redden: Tasty, coffee, sticky sweet carrot cake
Konstantinos Papadakis: Fresh cakes. $$$$
HaleemaHaya: Came to this place reading all positive reviews, but disappointed.French toast (which is not toast but some other type dough) and cappuccino, which can see in the photo didn’t even eat or drink half way.
Diane Geraci: Lots of places to choose for a great pastry, healthful sandwiches and soups, and coffee! Life in Boston is sweeter because of Flour. Don’t miss one of their convenient locations. ❤️
Michael Dunder: Good, tasty, fresh, almost like homemade food!
Yeganeh Saman Yazdjerdi: I visit this place whenever I’m in Boston. The coffee is perfect, the pastries are delicious. You MUST try the almond croissant 🥐The environment is very good and welcoming. You can sit outside and enjoy your break/breakfast or grab your food and head out.Everything I’ve tried yet has been great.
Tawanya Lynch: Love the food.
N N: Best customer service.
Chans View bomh1029: Great service.
David: Pricey but worth it

Flour Bakery & Cafe: what do users think?
Julia Mitra: Good gluten free bread, a bit overpriced and no gluten-free pastries available when I went, but overall nice experience.
Nikita S: I love grabbing their chocolate pie or a snack before hopping on the Orange Line!
Lucy Huang: Delicious pastries. Have a rewards app that gives you 10% off of the first order and 15% off of the second order
Richard W: The staff recommended the broccoli melt as a savory option. I was afraid of it being mostly cheese with tiny bits of broccoli, like at many placed. But no, this was chock full of charred broccoli and red cabbage, the cheese lending support to the flavorful vegetables.
Anu: I had ordered 2 boston cream slices to go, from this store. One of the slices was of the size they present in the store but the other one was way smaller. Being pricey, they should take care that customers atleast get what they pay for. Taste was ok.
Mitchell Roberts: Food is good but it's unorganized. Lots of crew running around but poor systems so service is very slow.
Oaklee S: Good service and friendly staff. Food is over priced for the quality of it. Good food, but last time I was there I had got 2 sandwiches & 2 coffee and my total was almost $50.00. But to each there own!
bera ksoe: Didn’t like it
Ally B: I got Avacoda toast with cappuccino. The experience and vibe were okay
Manan Bhandari: Ordered online for pickup - Hot chocolate and avocado toast. Went in 10 mins later, the hot chocolate was ready but it took 20 more minutes for the avocado toast. They packed it in a rush too, so it got messy already.By then my hot chocolate wasn't hot anymore. The food is generally very delicious, I've always enjoyed ordering from Flour, but this was a disappointing experience.Yes, it was Sunday morning, and it was very busy in the cafe - so perhaps a one off.Update : My bad experience was a one off, ordered twice again - good overall, and the hot chocolate was great. The chicken tikka sandwich is surprisingly amazing too!
Kyle Braun: The mushroom quiche was delicious, how do they keep the eggs so moist. The earl grey tea was also great
Paulina C: Great pastries and coffee. Staff was super friendly too.
Elizabeth Glanowski: Food was amazing. A lot of options from savory to sweet. Had to come back the next day. 🍰🥧🥪
Ivan Brkljac: Great breakfast spot.
Nathan Blake: The food is so terrible and expensive dont ever go here ever
Emily Dawes: I just had the best breakfast sandwich ever. Super cute place and amazing food. Would highly recommend
Ivana Šerić: I love how they placed my order receipt which says one thing, on a box that says something completely different.I didn't realize until 2 hours later :(
Rebecca Fernandes: Our group enjoyed a wonderful tasty variety of options for breakfast. The staff was wonderful.
Louis S: Ok food but way too expensive
Harrison González-García: Their Monkey bread and roasted sweet potato sandwich have fed me the comfort I needed at very low points in my life. Food and service done right ✅️
Cole Harris: Home to Chocolate Chip Cookies that have never let me down!

Flour Bakery + Cafe: what do users think?
Nikola M: Fresh and yummy but with little portions and quite pricey. There was barely any place to sit down both inside and outside. Just your typical Bostonian café.
Albert Pagano: Great bakery/cafe right across the street from our hotel in Boston. Fast service and a great selection of sweet and savory baked goods.
Rebekkah Beeco: I visited 3 times during my two day stay in the area. Friendly service, large selection for all diets, and great location. I tried the oat spelt currant scone, lemon ginger scone, pop tart, and broccoli melt sandwich - all 5 stars! The vegan mocha was amazing, too - I had it made with oatmilk. Highly recommend!
Ted Steinebach: every Wednesday evening I always get a large cappuccino here And I just want to give kudos to the people that work that shift, because they are always so incredibly kind and welcoming! Honestly, they're the main reason I come here.(so Flour if you're reading this: give them a raise!)
Edurnezuri * ;o): sticky buns and cinnamon rolls are my favorite!
R B: Nice place for something sweet and a coffee. Food was good, treats were sweet and the coffee was nice and hot.
Rick Wright: We're in Boston for a conference and five of us walked here for lunch. Everything we ate was stellar. The staff was quite busy for the lunch rush, but everyone we interacted with was courteous and showed a great deal of pride in their bakery.
Jonathan Heben: Great sandwich shop.
Srinivasan Venkatachalan: As expected, great bakery, a bit slow service
Trevor: Everything is very good. Try the pizza.
James Toubia: The pastries and coffee are good however there are better cafes in Boston
Zhangbin VVANG: super nice staff
Jacquelyn Stonehocker: Loved stopping by here for breakfast every day while visiting Berklee. Straight across from the hotel, incredibly delicious, and reasonably priced.
Kaustubh Shivdikar: Love the sourdough taste!Hot chocolate and sandwiches are the ones to try.
George Monaco: Always fresh ingredients. Food is delicious. Hot beverages always piping hot. Staff is very courteous. Especially Caroline who went above and beyond to help me.

Angela M Spagna: Best breakfast sandwich ever!
Barry Lee: Right when you walk in, you feel this awesome energy! The staff are always kind and the menu selection is A+
Bill Reed: Delicious, reasonable and staff are so pleasant and friendly.
Don Futaba: Love it. Located on the corner between the Hilton and Sheraton hotels. Staff is helpful and friendly. Sticky bun was really great. Sandwiches are great and good size. Not too much seating, so use the app or online ordering to avoid peak times. But not absolutely needed.
mehmet kaplan: Avocado toast was delicious!

Violette Gluten Free Bakery: what do users think?
Cecilia Viera: They should be more option about sugar free cakes is really not far for others.
Hadas Maroun: I don't know why this place has anything but 5 stars!! Every time I've gotten something from here, I have been SO happy. I have tried a few different items, and each time I am so satisfied with the test, texture, etc. I have been vegan for 3 years, and this is one of the few places where I forget I'm eating something vegan. Don't be fooled by the reviews!
Aidan Robbins: Lemon cookie was pretty…gluey? And had a weird aftertaste. The other items were just okay. I’d rate the place higher but each of the items were overpriced for what they were (even being GF) and the owner was pretty short with us.
Ragini Shah: This place has always been my go to for a cupcake because of the excellent flavors of the cakes and icings. Because I love them so much, I recently ordered a cake for a friend's book launch. I had an edible sugar version of her book cover made and the cake decorator (Danielle, I think?) placed it beautifully on a special order cake. Everyone at the event loved this cake (vanilla with raspberry buttercream). I had another baker contemplate working here! If you like things less sweet and tasting more like the real thing, you have to try this place!
Bethany Smith: Hi! I came here a while ago and have been meaning to leave a review since. The muffin I had was okay, but nothing special--Especially for the expensive price tag. The "how did you get here" survey felt weird, and now after reading other reviews, I understand why the owner forces this question. This bakery is clearly owned by someone deranged...Edit: They responded and said I'm not a customer when that's not true ? Yeah, not a customer anymore... They copy and paste the same thing to every negative review... My point was proven by the instant response lol. Save your money and give it to someone who is a productive and positive member of the community instead
Elliot Alderson: overpriced cupcakes, not worth the long wait time. Also my order was missing an item.
Melissa Ciampa: love the vegan donuts ....and pop tarts are so yummy...
lucia tarantino: Violette is probably the best bakery around! Everything is delicious! I can't believe it's gluten free. I stopped eating gluten, and other items have been omitted from my diet. Violette made it possible for me not to give up my sweets. Their cookies, all of them! Cupcakes yes! And a must try the donuts! Anything chocolate too. Violette is not just sweet, they have excellent savory too! I love the rosemary scones/biscuits one of my favs. My 11 year old is a huge fan as well. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality too. Thank you! :)
Liz DellaPorta Fitness: Amazing Bakery! Diet sensitive!
Nikita Khadloya: I ordered a birthday cake from here for a friend’s birthday (my friend has a gluten allergy). Everyone who tried a piece, both those with and without a gluten allergy, absolutely loved it! The cake was moist and the buttercream was phenomenal—we wouldn’t have been able to tell it was gluten free. Plus it had a little dried flower as decoration and they wrote happy birthday on it, making it look beautiful too. Thank you for helping make my friend’s birthday celebration special! For reference, I got a small size cake with a chocolate base and vanilla buttercream (buttercream was with dairy).
Chris E: i love riding my bike by here
Shireen Jyawook: Best and tastiest bakery, hands down! I love the fact I can preorder goodies. The donuts are unbelievable. And the fact they also have DF is a bonus!
Michael Roberson: Bought some cupcakes from this place in June of 2021 to share with a gluten allergic family member. They were okay, but certainly not good enough to put up with the owner’s appalling behavior. For the better part of a year, the proprietor of this establishment has been waging an extremely aggressive campaign against bike lanes, going so far as to sue the city over their implementation. When the judge threw out the case, the owner publically compared their case being thrown out to the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the supreme court. Absolutely shameful behavior betraying a complete lack of perspective.edit 2/10/23:Hi LeeSteffy! As I said in the review, I am a former customer. On June 7, 2021, I ordered:Chocolate Cupcake with Cream Cheese Italian Buttercream × 1Vanilla Cupcake Strawberry-Rhubarb French Buttercream × 1Brownies (DF) × 1DF Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate Gran Marnier Buttercream and Chocolate Drizzle (DF) × 1If you'd like, I am happy to forward you the receipt. Frankly, the only thing I'm embarrassed about is having ever given you any money at all. I am sorry that you are having trouble with your customer purchasing database, but I implore you to please stop lying in your replies to all of your negative reviews. Thank you!
Han: Very nice and tasty selection of celiac friendly treats. Staff was friendly and helpful and put a nice box together for me 😊
raval niyati: Horrible experience.I was looking for a vegan bakery nearby, and it popped up in my search list. I ordered a vegan cake for my parents’ anniversary. My expectations were pretty high by reading good reviews, but I was so disappointed when we cut it. The sponge was so dry and firm, the chocolate frosting was so bitter- they forgot to add sugar in it. It felt like we were cutting a rock. Vegan cakes aren’t suppose to be like that. The charges are pretty high. Overall it was waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
kevin altschuler: Used to come here, but we will not be returning. The behavior and attitude of the owners is whack, not the kind of thing I want to exist in the area I live.If you have disagreements about local politics you can go about fighting for what you believe in a respectful and constructive way instead of trying to run a dishonest crusade.Edit: they replied and said I'm not a customer? That's a lie, I have had items from this bakery. Also, no. This is exactly how reviews should be used. As a way for people to express their distaste for problematic businesses in their community, and this business has a problem. This owner is cuckoo for cocoapuffs
Drew Frayer: Food is OK, but outspoken political views on the business and website leave a bad aftertaste.Edit: Despite the owner's petty response below, I have eaten here.
Rachel DeBack: Tried to make an order not phone availability for a sports team order
HM C: The cheesecake with chocolate topping is absolutely dreamy. I also got a berry pop tart which was really good bc it wasn't overly sweet. Thanks for offering such delicious gluten-free pastries!!
Candice Sheehan: I used a gift card I received in December of 2022 and have also had several cakes from here purchased by family members. I have generally been underwhelmed.
5 3: Best gluten free baked goods I’ve ever had.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe: what do users think?
Alex Schubert: Tatte Bakery is a wonderful spot for a delicious brunch or a quick coffee and pastry. The bakery has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with rustic wooden tables and plenty of natural light. The menu at Tatte Bakery features a variety of breakfast and brunch dishes, pastries, and coffee drinks. The fig and brie panini is a standout dish, with the perfect combination of sweet and savory flavors. The bread and butter was also delicious, with a crispy exterior and a soft and fluffy interior. My girlfriend had the croc madam on a croissant, and it was a fantastic twist on the classic dish. The pastry selection at Tatte Bakery is also excellent, with a variety of croissants, muffins, and cakes. The chocolate croissant was particularly delicious, with layers of flaky pastry and rich chocolate filling. The service at Tatte Bakery is friendly and attentive, and the staff is always willing to offer recommendations or answer any questions about the menu.Overall, Tatte Bakery is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious brunch or pastries in Boston. I highly recommend the fig and brie panini and the croc madam on a croissant. I give Tatte Bakery a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars.
Malcolm Downey: Excellent food!
VolcanicIsAsian: This place surpassed my expectations on what a whole grain quality cafe truly represents. Exquisite coffee. Divine Danishes. Truly a cafe that understands what the pinnacle of cafe service and quality should be about. Only concerning thing was this one Ice Spice looking worker. While taking my order, he kept on muttering words that sounded like "Renegade" and "Red Shrek"? I looked into it and I cannot say what I've found publicly because once you're in, you're in. So all I've got to say is he is very handsome and makes me want to come back everyday truly exceptional service and quality in goods 8/10 would come back again. Barukh Attah Adonai Ibraahim I thank you for your service
Saad: Ibraahim is a great worker! He saved my family from the twin tower crash. May allah bless him! Amazing worker! Promote him.
Nicoletta Delos: I want to have my wedding at Tatte bakery, the food is absolutely amazing and I became hooked on the sparkling matcha lemonade drink. All locations are always crazily crowded and can barely catch a table to eat, but the food is still worth it. My fiancé and I always travel from Philly just to eat here on the weekends.
Jordan: The guy at the counter seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Chocolate croissant was very good, buttery and flakey, but the coffee was nothing special. Fairly expensive.
Aziza A.: Very cute, clean and warm coffee shop with high quality single origin coffee. Pastries and breads are very good, we got the plain brownie and dark chocolate mousse cake with cortado’s - all excellent. And the service was great. Visited several other branches in Boston and quality is surprising constant, a big plus for a chain. Loved it and highly recommend.
송희원: Salmon, avocado & egg sandwich was bit salty. Strawberry and raspberry cupcake was good
Pack 50 Milk Street: I always have a good experience at Tatte. Also the latte is really good here.
Mário Barreira: O Muesli é delicioso e o lugar é agradável com bom serviço.
Jenna Bittner: I don't drink coffee she was happy that they had lots of options that weren't coffee! I also got the apple turnover which was delicious! the staff was very friendly and the vibes were great.
Jack Friedman: Good food
Lynn: Good food and is a great place to stay! Even though there are a lot of people, it didn’t affect the speed of ordering and serving:)
Liz: Had their strawberry cream cheese cake.It was so good- not with bread but mostly cheesy mousse that is not too sweet but more like yogurt taste. I liked how it was creamy. The shape doesn’t stay because of the creamy texture so would recommend storing in somewhere cold before eating.
Danila Massara: Cute place, very crowded on weekends. Coffee was decent, but the croissant was a bit stale
Gani Ecoresort: Lagi lagi enak dan kenyang
Carson Gibbs: A tip top breakfast experience in every way. The Bacon, Potato and Mushroom Shakshuka paired exquisitely with their Winter Latte (made with a squash puree that added a very nice sweet touch at the back of every sip). If you are in the area you have to pop in.Bathrooms are clean, staff was great, and portion sizes were filling.
Lexie Gibbs: Came here on a recommendation of our hotel receptionist and it. Was. SCRUMPTIOUS! I wasn't sure I would love what I ordered as I'm usually a sweet breakfast person but this was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Croque Madame and a large latte (came out to around $25 after tip) and my only regret is that I live so far away and will only be able to experience it again in memory. Definitely worth the hype.
Robert Bennett: A welcome find for a tasty breakfast and coffee ☕
John Foreman: Tasty food and nice coffee. Plenty of space today for the family to meet for breakfast

Party Favors: what do users think?
Doris Herrera: Party Favors gets a 3rd star only because if their options of party supplies. Their pastries are usually not as good as you would expect. The presentation of the pastries are beautiful but flavors I think are just ok. Hit or miss. The only thing that I've had that blew me away was the chocolate decadence. Delicious 🤤 other than that, do yourself a favor and find another place, there are plenty of options in this area.Last year, the last time I went in there there, I got some cupcakes for a baby reveal party and half the cupcakes didn't have the filling inside 🤦 As you can imagine that's not only disappointing but also embarrassing. I went in there, talk to someone about it, I was very polite might I add but I never got a call back. Nothing was ever done about it.They do have a nice selection of party supplies. Especially for milestone birthdays and things like that. In my opinion a bit too overpriced so I don't shop there for my birthday party supplies per se but I do like their selections. I have bought specific items from there.
Natalia Greenidge: I drive across the city for their cupcakes. Theyre delicious. Creative flavors and they switch it up often. Also plenty of cool party supplies and decorations for lots of different occasions.
Irina Kareva: THE place to go in Brookline for all things party, from decorations to balloons to cakes. And please be nice to those who inflate balloons, they do their best to be timely and it is just a piece of plastic with air in it :)(And btw, I got 6, and 2 are still floating almost 2 weeks after the party! So clearly they know what they're doing :)
Malcolm Mayfield: Great as usual
Suzanna Lee: Litterally the best cakes. Carried it on a plane to Colorado it was that important
Nandish murugesh: I have ordered birthday cakes from this place many times. They are awesome!
Delphine Kaiser: We bought our wedding cake here. It was delicious and beautiful!
Kevin Hoctor: My favorite store in boston! Party Favors has supplied everything for my birthday parties, Halloween parties, and every celebration in between. Support this local business!!
Teresa Harris: Special thanks to John at Party Favors the cake was delicious and beautiful everyone loved it.
Onna van Eyk: Fresh cupcakes. So many choices for walk ins.
Deborah Kantor: I’m 60 and grew up with my mom going to PF! Iconic spot! Amazing how they have expanded into baked goods. The best party accessories, most stunning napkins, fabulous. Upbeat, helpful staff. I hear their cupcakes are excellent as are their cakes and cookies. My small disappointment is in the pastry bites (minis) - eclairs, key lime, chocolate chunk, etc. They were not fresh. Likely not big sellers.
Patty Battle: Love their cakes! they taste just as good as they look.
Eva O'Brien: I have gotten my birthday cake from Party Favors every year since the 90s!!!! --- sometimes just stop in when Im visiting home for a cupcake with animal figure frosting or flowers :)
vivian kolovos: Best customer service and most delicious cakes around! Worth the drive to Brookline.
Barbara Matto: loveeeee this place and the owners
Kevin: Party Favors has been my “go to place” for ALL my event needs for over 30 years. Same exceptional quality party goods and amazing, delicious and individually designed cakes and baked goods.
Cecile Braun-Jones: Great to pick up last minute party goods. Decent cakes as well. Check for hours before going. Can get balloons without inflating them
Jason Viterna: We ordered a couple cakes for my friend's bachelor party and they turned out to be a big hit in both presentation and taste! Absolutely wonderful and so delicious! They were also able to deliver to the place we were staying which was really appreciated. One of the cakes was originally asked to be a photoscan print cake but unfortunately couldn't be done in time due to a unforeseen issue with the contractor they partner with to get the icing prints done, however the bakery pulled through and replicated what we were aiming for with a fantastic result! Mary Lynn was an absolute delight to work with to help get everything in place and give sound recommendations. This place gets my full seal of approval for cakes for those special occasions.
A. G: The best cupcakes in town . This weekend I stopped by and got me an assortment of mini cupcakes from Party Favors in Brookline. I call them Mini cupcakes from heaven. Best cupcakes in the planet!! No joke!! ❤️❤️💖
Amy Gribaudo: Most beautiful wedding cake!! Delicious!! Our guests LOVED it. Multiple people have asked me where we got our wedding cake from. Thank you, thank you!! ♥️During our wedding planning, Party Favors allowed us to call them on a Tuesday to request 3 samples of their cakes to taste. We picked them up on a Saturday and it truly helped with our decision!!Will add a formal professional photo of the wedding cake - once I get those back!!
Lissette Mejia: So much decorations and really cute cakes just overpriced!

Flour Bakery + Cafe: what do users think?
Amanda Kelly: Great breakfast sandwich. Ordered online for pickup and food was ready when I arrived
jake vallante: I've been coming here for 15 years. Great pizza
Rasha Waheed, M.D.: Not fresh cake
Lori Schleicher: Great food, even better desserts
Dr. Kevin B. Hamilton: I ordered several baked items and each were amazing!
Earl Schamehorn: I had a slice of Boston cream pie. I thought the pastry was too soggy and the cream to be quite boring.
Todd Blackman: Yum!
Yehia Amar: Tasty croissant and avocado toast with salmon. For 20-25 dollars. Great place for a breakfast in Boston.
Viswa Anoop Nerella: I got the cake from this place for my birthday. It was amazing taste.
Jan Crabtree: Lovely breakfast - our first in Boston
Vijay Raju: First timer - loved the chicken tikka naan wrap. Will definitely visit again. Pre order go avoid long wait times.Photo is of similar wrap - I forgot to click a picture in its awesomeness.
jack macdonald: Saw cake in case cut into generous pieces and ordered a slice, then they handed me a slice from…out back? That was at most HALF the size of slices in case. Bait and switch rip-off even missing half of bottom ribbon.
Seb T: Had takeout on a Sunday morning. Nice place, of course a little crowded, efficient staff. I asked for an americano with a shot of expresso but the girl told me it already had 4 shots in it, so I skipped the extra shot. Wrong : the coffee wasn’t strong enough. Also had a little bit of bitterness. Still was ok but not a 5 stars. Took 4 pastries that were pretty good, but then again, I had better. Would still stop by, but wouldn’t make a detour for it.
Tiffany Pelton: Employees were friendly and nice. Food was dry, sweet roll and Connie's were hard. Not my style place to eat especially for the price.
Irene M.: We went right at opening to avoid the lines that can form. We got their breakfast sandwich and sticky buns. The sandwich was nice and had good flavor. The sticky bun was okay. There was a lot of flavor on the outside, I just wish that it continued inside the pastry as well. Overall, it’s a great spot to visit!
Kevin Fleming: Excellent food and coffee - breakfast sandwich was made with very good ingredients and wasn’t greasy or heavy.
Jason Paul: Michael and Siri are great to work with!
Alvin Wong: Food was really good
Kayla W: When we arrived there was 1 customer at the kiosk and 2 at the counter so we ordered on our phone like their menu suggests and then sat down. We ordered 2 drinks, a breakfast sandwich, and toast with butter & jam. Sat for over 30min watching other people come in, order, eat, and leave. I went up twice and was nicely told by the girl who was training that they were working on it. I notice our drinks were behind her and figured we just got lost in the shuffle. When we finally got our food the toast was just bread with nothing on it or on the side, and they had put their horseradish mayo on the sandwich instead of dijonnaise (absolutely gross). The drinks were good but not worth the wait and overall a bad experience.
Sarah Fortino: Cute little bakery with some delicious treats!
Catelyn Johnson: This is my most favorite bakery ever. The cookies are absolutely to die for, and the sandwiches are amazing.

Mike's Pastry: what do users think?
Keri Aaver: No trip to Boston is complete without stopping by Mike's pastry for several boxes of Almond Macaroons and Cannoli! My friends back in L.A. love yo receive them as thank you gifts for helping out when I'm out of town. Yummmmmy!!!!
Phil Wood: Great cannoli
Isaac Alejandro Padilla: The Amaretto one is so good!
Kat Z: Cream puffs! Yum!
Kelly Green: A Boston tradition!! A trip to the North End or Harvard Square is simply incomplete without a cannoli from Mike’s!
Henry Dera: Offers a wide selection of fresh cannollis and other pastries with very pleasant service. The place is usually busy, but worth the wait. The cannollis are really good and you'll find people all over Cambridge and Boston walking around carrying the iconic Mike's pastry box tied with ribbon. There is a reason why. We've tried about 25% of the menu and all options have been good so far. I keep coming back to the chocolate dip as a favorite but the others offer some good flavors too.
David Mawson: Lobster tails are sooo good
Katrin Shikova: The lobster tails are to die for.
Margaux Ilyse Krembs Epter: Everything was delicious! i had the pecan caramel cannoli and it blew all of my expectations out of the water! Quite crowded but that is expected for an amazing bakery!
Lucas: Lobster tail was staleTastes like it was made yesterdayGreat bakery for day old pastries!
Hassan Chehab: Got the raspberry roll. Very good
Nicholas DiMuzio: The best!
Ezgi Alanlar: The older guy in the store was extremely insolent. He needs to be trained how to communicate with the customers!
Sam Liu: Good cannoli. Excellent ricotta pie.
James Chan: Pretty decent cannoli’s although slightly thick and rich for my taste it’s actually good to give it a try.
Hyejin Hwang: Maybe my expectation was so high given the reputation of Mike’s Pastry.. but I found their pastries are not that special. Not bad but I am not sure it worth traveling.
Anh Nguyen: The cannoli is pricy in my opinion it’s 5.5 for one, and the hazelnut was not good enough for the amount we paid. However, the oreo cheesecake tasted good, you should try this but don’t expect too much
Michael and Steve: Oh my God! You will never believe all the different kinds of Italian pastries!A bit pricey, but well worth the trip to Harvard Square in Cambridge Mass.
Richard: Best Italian Deserts
seb hcd: Super !Excellent accueil malgré de nombreux clients dans l’établissement.Une serveuse sympa, me choisissant la meilleure part de pâtisserie...miam !
Heather & Larry M: A staple Italian bakery in the North End, with additional locations around the city

Flour Bakery: what do users think?
Deep Chatterjee: Their sandwiches have a nice twist to them, which I love. I have tried both their locations near MIT. Also their coffee is really good.
Melanie Yevilov: An alternative to Novartis cafe across the street, offering delicious breakfast, supreme latte and a comfortable social dining room. I was put off when cashier stated “don’t forget to tip” which I had not, but the comment is inappropriate.
Pat Link: An expansive selection of baked goods and fairly priced merch. The place could use a little more seating, but we stopped for takeout. Service was friendly and helpful.
Eoin Kenny: Pretty nice place but the coffee is not absolutely the best and it's nearly always super crowded.
Paige Baumgartner: I’m not exaggerating when I say I went on a trip to Boston (from Canada) specifically to visit this bakery! I had the original cookbook from Joanne Chang and became obsessed with the banana bread! My dad surprised me after my graduation with a class she was teaching live from the Breadquarters - and it is one of the sweetest memories I have - literally! The only thing sweeter - the amazing owner, Joanne! Brilliant baker, kind human, inspiration for all! While I don’t live in Boston, I have still purchased every cookbook since!
Evelyn Xing: My favourite bakery in Boston/Cambridge area with so many fond memories. The cinnamon cream brioche's amazing, and so are the chicken, avocado, jicama sandwich & the salads! The mulled cider in the winter is still the best I've had and the iced tea, herbal tea, & coffee are much welcomed beverages to beat the Boston summer heat!
Dat Ha: Ordered a batch iced mocha through the app (the staff said I could order normal mocha on the app but it was not the case - no such item). Got text saying it is ready. Waited 30 minutes and got nothing. Stood in front of the counter for 20 minutes, and nobody cared to address me - one was just making coffee and the other person just hanging out at the counter. I had to call out loudly to be served, only to find out that the batch coffee was tucked away in the back. The employee rudely handed it to me without any apology. And the coffee did not taste good at all. Absolutely horrendous experience with Flour as a frequent customer.
Michael Toensmann: What a vibrant and cool environment, lots of students, excellent food and drinks !
Connie Durgin: Great Chai latte ... hit the spot on a chilly morning!
Rob Borgoño: I’ll preface by saying that I do really love their incredibly limited vegan baked goods and the raspberry seltzer, which is why I go so often on my lunch breaks. When it’s good, it’s really good, but when it’s bad…Here are my two issues :- I ask for extra syrup in the razz (I like it sweeter) and I seem to get either the exact same amount or, in the case of today, almost zero syrup. It’s kind of a shame that it’s so inconsistent and always a guessing game as to whether or not I’ll enjoy it because it’s soooooo good when done right.- I also choose to go to Flour over the other restaurants in the same stretch that do feature more abundant and exciting vegan options because I love the mission and local ingredients that Flour brings to the table and they’re pretty tasty too. That said, it’s disappointing to hear that they’re sold out of the sole vegan muffin before mid day almost every day. That seems like a pretty big hint, no? I’d almost rather they offered zero vegan options so I wouldn’t get my hopes up and can just go somewhere else for my lunchtime snack.TL;DR: raspberry seltzer is super inconsistent but amazing when done right and the vegan options are absolutely an afterthought but are really tasty when actually available once in a blue moon.
Matt S: Wow, the donut with cream was divine. The sticky bun was sticky and tasty
Jackie: I went in to buy a cake for a friend’s birthday. I had to waited 20 minutes for them to put a cake in a box. Cake was tasty was there is no reason for such poor service.
Ryuhjin Ahn: Had the funkiest tasting cappuccino ever. Wondered if the milk had gone bad. Called to ask but no answer.
Stephanie Gabel: Very good
Ivaana Muse: Flour has excellent stuff. Food and teas and coffees. What's going wrong right now is important. Bakery etiquette. The apologies come long after denial. That's not how things work. When a regular customer has a valid complaint and isn't calling to add credits she needs support and the promise of better service.Specifically the lady in charge today was Lisa and had no manners at all evidently denying her foibles.Food is good but etiquette matters more.I hope this improves.
Scott Brenham: I admit lunch can get busy Same idea as Panera bread only its local. Convenient locations I decided to stop in I decided to download the ingredients labeling Same idea as panera bread. some ingredients are not what I would be willing to consume FD C red 40 food coloring although certain preservatives in food items as part of a meal are not as bad as others. Naan bread unlike saloniki greek I think is pre ready not sure. A suggestion The team behind the bakery could revamp recipes etc. I can see more potential but quality comes first. Then again I buy alot organic items from the grocery store.
Ignas Maželis: Coffee was not drinkable
R. D.: Expensive but really good bakery
Ricky Sánchez (Ricky): Workers always willing to answer questions and be helpful
Ayoka: I love Joanne chocolate mousse cake to death like ve sooo rich in taste she the best when it comes to chocolate mousse cake
Joe Rodden: Good food and coffee. Lines get really long, not sure why they don’t add a second register…
