Wellest Integrative Health: what do users think?
Grace Galvin: Kristen was so knowledgeable and supportive. I had previously gone to PT with someone who wasn’t a specialist and it was a night and day difference seeing Kristen. I was uncomfortable daily before seen Kristen. Thank you for getting me back to myself.
Madeleine Scully: Kristin is the most wonderful pt you could ever find! She made me feel so comfortable and at ease and taught me so much about the pelvic floor and pain during intercourse. I highly recommend this practice and Kristin in particular!
Susan OGrady: I would HIGHLY recommend Kathy Kates at Wellest Integrative Health. She is was extremely helpful in treating my symptoms. She not only provided the hands-on treatment but she was very helpful in reviewing the exercises that I needed. I have been a personal fitness trainer for over 28 years. I have worked closely with a lot of physical therapists to help my clients recover from injury. Kathy is one of the very best physical therapists I have worked with. She is caring, kind, and most of all, extremely knowledgeable and capable! I had been dealing with some issues for a year and within 4 sessions, my symptoms were drastically better!!! She is amazing!
Helen Bujold: I had a wonderful experience at Wellest. I had been suffering with daily pain for four months which almost completely disappeared after just four sessions of working with Kristin. She will be the first person I call if I have any more pelvic health concerns. I am so grateful for her help and happy to be pain free! I cannot recommend Wellest enough.
Adrienne Weisner: I really appreciated my experience with Wellest and received tremendous benefit from my care. Kristin was my PT and immediately made me feel so comfortable in my disheveled postpartum state. She took the time to get to know me, learn more about my birth story and concerns and I noticed significant improvements to my pelvic floor health from the very first visit. She is very skilled and smart and provided useful resources. Most importantly, Kristin made me feel at ease and very hopeful from the start—I gained confidence day by day and now, five visits later, I’ve *graduated* —I will absolutely go back in future for prenatal and postpartum care and would recommend Wellest to anyone! Thank you!
Leslie Zmugg: Kathy Kates is a remarkable clinician. She diagnoses and treats through an iterative process that continues to evolve over many sessions. She is intuitive, evidence-based and is a wonderful listener. Kathy and the Wellest practitioners are also passionate educators for the womens health community, sharing their knowledge about how pelvic health can be diagnosed and treated. I can't say enough about Kathy, Wellest and the wonderful results that I've experienced. They are exceptional!
Casey Johnson: About a year ago, I was suffering through a host of seemingly unrelated physical and mental health issues that were severely impacting my quality of life. I saw a variety of doctors, each of whom offered a palliative treatment for the particular issue they were trained to diagnose. On a mission to connect the dots and actually fix underlying issues, I stumbled across pelvic floor dysfunction and noticed that it mirrored many of my symptoms.I was then fortunate enough to find Wellest. In my very first session I could tell that I was in the right place. Now, a year later, I've graduated from active treatment feeling stronger, healthier, and happier. Much of my discomfort and dysfunction feels like a thing of the past.I can't thank both Rachel and Kristin enough for their support, compassion, guidance, and expertise along the way. They've made a huge difference in my life, and I'll be forever grateful!
Greg Brodsky: By far the most well done and thoughtful PT program that I have ever been a part of. Incredibly knowledgable practitioners. Highly recommended!
Alycia Busby: About 30 weeks into my pregnancy, I was suffering from pelvic pain and was getting no relief from my chiropractor. My doula suggested Wellest Health and I was able to get a same-day virtual consultation with Dana. I was skeptical about virtual Occupational Therapy, but have not been disappointed! Dana has helped me manage my pain through our work together in our sessions as well as providing me with things to do by myself. I have been quite impressed with the practice - everything from the appointment availability/flexibility to the friendly staff to actually getting pain relief! Can't recommend Wellest Health enough!
Grace Riley: I highly recommend Wellest Integrative Health for pelvic floor PT. I went bi-weekly during my pregnancy and returned at 6 wks PP for several visits. Kathy Kates, NP has helped me so much! She’s addressed my hypertonicity, taught me breathing techniques (both for labor & daily life), and shown me how slight alterations in simple every day moves can help stabilize my pelvic floor. To anyone considering pelvic floor PT for any number of issues- or even just to have an assessment in pregnancy- look no further than Wellest! It’s the best investment in your self. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
Shauna Dowden: Dr. Kristin Kennedy was absolutely phenomenal in providing post-surgical education, support and direction in the healing process. Everyone deserves such a warm, caring, nonjudgmental, and smart guide! Not to mention, the entire Wellest Integrative Health space is beautifully calming.
Sydney Moore: In addition to helping me recover from my condition, from the first moment, they made me feel so at ease in a situation that could be very uncomfortable. I came to actually look forward to my appointments. My experience at Wellest was truly life changing, and I can't recommend them enough!
Olivia LeDonne: Kristin has been the most amazing help on my endo journey! She makes me feel seen and heard every time I see her, She’s professional, personable and knowledgeable! I always leave there feeling so much better! If I could give her and Wellest 10 stars I would!!
Caroline Himmelman: I had several appointments with Dana regarding my acid reflux / GERD symptoms. The gastric manipulation treatments were very comfortable and also very effective. Dana also showed me some exercise and breathing techniques that I could use at home to help my issues. I would highly recommend this practice.
Kristi ACW: I came to see Kristin with a lot of pain, weakness, and dysfunction and have made so much progress with her guidance. Kristin is a fountain of knowledge & resources when it comes to pelvic floor health and hypermobility spectrum disorders.I’ve been able to get back to many aspects of my life I was missing out on thanks to the physical therapy techniques I’m learning. Thank you so much!
Rebecca Richman Cohen: I can't recommend Kristin Stetzel highly enough! She addressed a number of different issues from pelvic floor to lower back. She was thorough and patient and helped get me strong again.
Madeira Thayer: Kristin Stetzel was amazing! She made me feel super comfortable, and she gave me great tips to do on my own. I was able to see improvements really quickly. I can't recommend highly enough!
Emily Kuksin: I couldn't say enough great things about Kathy and the Wellest team. I saw Kathy nearly weekly for pelvic floor PT starting in the second trimester of my recent pregnancy. In addition to our in person sessions, Kathy provided simple exercises I could perform at home - being very mindful to ensure I could work them into my lifestyle. Within the first two weeks of seeing her I started noticing relief from pelvic and hip pain. I attribute a smooth third trimester and labor/delivery to my work with Kathy (and Kristin while Kathy was out for a few weeks, who is also amazing!!) and highly recommend this practice to every pregnant/postpartum person I know. I also submitted the superbills to my insurance and was reimbursed as the service was considered covered out of network.
Danielle Bartlett: Kristin has been incredible to work with. She is kind, empathetic, passionate and listens. I have had such a wonderful experience working with Kristin over the past 6 months and have had such a relief and turn around with my symptoms. I highly recommend seeing Kristin at Wellest Health!
Kate Langlais: I am so grateful for Wellest! I have been working with Kathy for many months now, and she is the best PT I have ever worked with. In our first session, she immediately made me feel calm and cared for. Her wealth of knowledge is truly impressive (I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that I often have my toddler with me, and she is always very accommodating of her). We have met and surpassed my initial goals for PT. Lastly, the space at Wellest is inviting, calming and impeccably clean. I cannot recommend it enough!
AP Hall: Wellest has helped me tremendously with pelvic floor tightness. Definitely helped with my bladder issues and lower gut issues. Kristin Stetzel is a patient listener and curious about what can be causing issues. One of the few practitioners I've been to who is actually interested in getting to the root cause of the problem, instead of making assumptions and not deviating from them. Highly recommended.

Flourish Physical Therapy, LLC: what do users think?
Ella-Jane Sharpe: Dustienne is a literal queen and will save you from so much pain! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at physical therapy, she also has the bedside manner of a saint, and will never fail to make your day better! Thank you Dustienne for providing such comfortable and amazing healthcare :)
Daniel Barnes: Flourishes team is absolutely amazing, they are incredibly kind and helpful. They are also trans inclusive and understanding of how it can change physical therapy needs 😊
Adriana Cordova: Dustienne has truly changed my life! After struggling with pelvic pain for years due to endometriosis, even after two excision surgeries, I never thought I’d know what it was like to live a pain-free life. Dustienne listened to me and curated a treatment plan to help me find relief. After working with her for about a year and a half, I’ve found true relief from my pain and now have the tools to manage flares on my own. Dustienne truly cares about her patients and I would recommend her to anybody who hasn’t been able to find relief from their pain.
Molly Gun: Dustienne truly gave me my quality of life back as I recover from Endo excision surgery. She’s non-judgemental, friendly, impressively knowledgeable and I’ve made remarkable progress with her, starting from a situation I wasn’t sure I could ever improve. Every issue I come to her with, she has a suggestion on how we can fix it, and helps make me feel like I am in control of my recovery! I cannot recommend her enough.
Haley Olson: Thoughtful and respectful care that helped change my whole outlook on what would be possible for me! Highly recommend.
Annemarie Grimaldi: I am so grateful Flourish Physical Therapy was recommended to me by my doula for post-birth recovery, and even more grateful to have the chance to work with Alex on my recovery. I had an extremely challenging labor, which lasted for almost four days. As such, I was nearly incapacitated for more than a month after giving birth. This was challenging for me because I was quite athletic, even throughout my pregnancy. Once I was cleared for activity by my midwife, I began seeing Alex to help me work towards a more comprehensive recovery. I was quite nervous given the trauma I had experienced, but Alex could not have been more more attuned to sensing my needs and what I wanted to get out of my therapy. They explained in detail how the mechanics of my body were working so I could better understand the healing process, and gave me clear things to do to continue working at home. I felt extremely seen and cared for by Alex, but also could see immediately Alex’s expertise. This was something that was really important to me, and Alex never had me questioning whether or not they knew how to help me recover. I am beyond grateful for Alex’s help and support, I attribute the fact that I am now back to running and long-distance cycling just three months after such a traumatic birth, to their work and compassion. I wholeheartedly recommend Alex and Flourish Physical Therapy!
Julia Tutko-Balena: Dustienne is amazing. Not only is she educated, skilled, knowledgeable, and professional, she’s also one of the most compassionate and genuinely caring people I’ve ever met. She actually CARES not just about healing your body, but also about you and your life.I am so happy I was recommended to her by a friend. Absolutely book her if you get the chance.
David Perry: Dustienne has made a profound impact on my life. I came with a laundry list of pelvic issues, some of them being chronic constipation and 10+ years of pain. I can safely say that my constipation is completely under control and my pain is nearly nonexistent. If I do flare up, Dustienne has equipped me with the tools to deal with it and empowered me with her knowledge and deep understanding of this complex and tricky area of the body. I seriously cannot recommend her enough. She is an incredibly talented and compassionate healer.Thank you, Dustienne!
Melissa Hankowski: I was recommended to Dustienne after having my first child. I was in a lot of pain and unsure of how to start exercising again without adding to the pain or making things worse with my postpartum body. She is amazing and helped me so much! I felt like every appointment was special to me and she was so focused on my recovery, not just looking for generic answers. I highly recommend her to every mother I meet and look forward to starting up with her again now that I have had my second child.
Ashley Liebermann: I have Dustienne to thank for the fact that I am now back to running, cycling, yoga, etc. after the delivery of my son 5 months ago. 2 months postpartum I was feeling very frustrated and discouraged, unsure of when or if I would get back to pre-pregnancy shape. Dustienne provided the necessary support, care & confidence to get me back to feeling like myself! I plan to work with Dustienne during future pregnancies for preventative care as well as postpartum care. Dustienne is so sweet and has a way of making you feel beyond comfortable talking about everything. She is truly something special!
Kristen Connolly: I didn't even know what "pelvic floor" meant, nevermind that the discomfort I thought was a twingy hamstring was referred pain from my pelvic floor. There were so many things I learned from my sessions with Dustienne, and I am so much healthier and happier as a result! Pretty much everyone could benefit from PT with her, so consider calling her if you have any weird discomfort, or if you breathe, stand, go to the bathroom, or have sex. Seriously, I wish I could send everyone I know.
Hallie Kozlowski: Before I was referred to Dustienne, I had never heard (or could have imagined) that there was such a thing as Pelvic Floor PT. I had no idea what to expect and had so many questions: what is it? ...how is it administered? …will my participation be active or passive? …and even, what do I wear? I needn’t have worried, though, as I was put at ease the moment I met Dustienne. She is the consummate professional while being very warm and laid back. In fact, once the therapy started, I found that I really didn’t care so much about the what/how/why of it all….she knew what she was doing and was a font of anatomical knowledge. And, more importantly, my symptoms were improving. I sought Dustienne’s help for increasing pain and discomfort in my tailbone (requiring me to use an orthopedic cushion at all times – in the car, office, restaurants), the origin of which was unclear. The combination of Dustienne’s in-office treatment, basic exercises to do at home, and her workouts (compact and easy), immediately helped to alleviate the tailbone pain and ultimately has freed me from the cushion. I’ve struggled to manage endometriosis symptoms for many years with diet, exercise and acupuncture, but Pelvic PT has been a great addition to the arsenal of tools that help to keep me limber, mindful and pain-free. And, Dustienne is sure to keep you laughing!
Ashley Maina: Dustienne is an incredible provider, she makes me feel safe and comfortable and very cared for. I saw Dustienne after having my first child for some rehab and after a few months together I saw a great improvement in my SUI and overall pelvic comfort.
Laura Powell: I started seeing Dustienne about three months ago at the recommendation of my former physical therapist who moved out of state. I was apprehensive to go out-of-network, but she has been 100% worth it. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate; and I have yet to find a provider who is so committed to my healing and success. She has listened and answered ALL of my questions (I have A LOT) and has given me so many helpful tools. Thanks to Dustienne + Flourish PT, I have made progress that I had previously thought was impossible.
Mark Heron: I came to Dustienne with shoulder pain that would wake me up at night. It was more than a minor irritation as my job is very physical. Her treatments and advice were spot-on and I was soon living without pain again. I would recommend her to anyone.
Maeg Keane: I went into Flourish Physical Therapy with a painful tailbone injury. It had gotten to the point where it hurt to lie down, sit, and move from sitting to standing. After sessions at Flourish, I experience no pain -- and even when a little pain comes back, I feel empowered through exercises I learned so I can take care of it myself. Something that surprised me was how much I learned about pain and my own body. It wasn't just about "fixing" the problem, though that happened too. I felt so much less alienated from my body. Even as I was dealing with the pain, it no longer felt scary or like I was going to hurt myself more. The stress from experiencing the pain was managed too. I would recommend Flourish Physical Therapy to anyone looking for compassionate, effective care.
Heidi B: I am grateful to have found Dustienne. The issues that I sought her care for have significantly improved with her care and guidance. Her clinical expertise, sensitivity, kindness and good sense of humor make for a comfortable and nurturing therapeutic experience. She is a wonderful listener. She brings an open mind and creativity to each session. The world needs more skilled pelvic floor physical therapists like her!
Peter Somers: I've been working with Dustienne & Alex for awhile now on some bad hypertension issues. They are both incredibly knowledgable. Their philosophy is a very holistic one - not only doing things like stretches and tissue massage, but also providing many other healing tactics like meditation & yoga tailored to specific issues. They also always give specific strategies for dealing with flare-ups & pain in specific settings in life, life transportation, at the office, trying to sleep, etc.I cannot recommend Flourish highly enough!
Michelle Heron: I have had sacroiliac problems on and off for a few years. Dustienne's holistic approach to physical therapy was exactly what my body needed. Her warm, caring and insightful experience helped to identify the problem quickly. She has an intuitive ability to locate where specific areas of tightness, tension and discomfort originate. The treatment was precise, exercises were given to strengthen, assisted range of motion helped to mobilize my low back, hip and whole pelvis. Her treatments are supportive and safe, allowing for release and pain relief. Dustienne provided resources, take home stretches and yoga poses for when I experience flare-ups. Her gentle guidance has helped me pull back from pushing through the strain of daily routines and listen to my body.
kate oldshue: I have been so incredibly grateful to have Dustienne as part of my treatment team. She provided consistent, and professional care, through out my entire sickness, while also engaging and supporting me as a person. When I had a horrible pain flare she found a way to get me in to see her immediately. If I had a big doctors appointment coming up she would send an email after to check in on how I was and how it went. Dustienne is a brilliant physical therapist who is fully commitment to her patients.
Juliana Ryan: Dustienne has changed my life, I've had a difficult road with multiple abdominal surgeries that left me in completely unmanageable pain - pain that is now much more manageable, and still improving. Dustienne helps with her expertise, she is so kind and completely non-judgmental, and she just truly understands how the body works, and how to help it work better!

Bay State Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Brenda Mastricola: Excellent, friendly atmosphere. Easy going. Very knowledgeable with their work. Flexible scheduling.
Andrew Filiberti: Going to Bay State was a pleasure. Came in with ankle weakness after a severe sprain and was able to gain almost all function back. John was super friendly to work with and really knows what exercises are best to help you feel better. The trainers here make this place great. Overall a great experience.
Scott Lee: Bay State SOUTH BOSTON has exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to quality care and client services. From my first interaction over the phone, I immediately felt at home at Bay State. Justine, Kelsey, and Anders are incredibly caring and knowledgable. Undoubtedly one of the most outstanding clinics I've had the pleasure to be cared at.
Natalie Koffarnus: Its the Physical Therapists that make this place great! PT really can be a game changer when matched with the right person. Love the way they conduct their sessions. Easy to make and change appointments around life. There is on street parking, or just two blocks away a small parking lot with free 2 hour parking.
Shawn Maca: You’re very helpful and very kind knowledgeable and they care about their patients
jim murphy: Justin has set a very caring atmosphere
Gerry Conley: The staff at Bay State Physical Therapy is great. My therapist Kelcie is amazing. She is so kind and patient , she takes the time to listen to me about what I feel are problems with my knee she explains what it is she is going to be doing before she touches my knee. I couldn't ask for a better therapist. The rest of the staff is also helpful and nice ( including the receptionist out front ) she is basically the face of Bay State when you walk in. I can't say enough good things about Bay State.
Caroline Agid: I can honestly say Bay State PT changed my life. I severely sprained my ankle 16 weeks before I was supposed to run a marathon. My mother (a retired PT) insisted I ask for a PT referral to help my recovery so I could safely return to running and ideally build up to long distances. Enter Bay State PT. Upon my first visit in my walking boot, I immediately felt like a family member to my PT, Justine. She answered all of my questions, connecting with me as a person and as a patient, led me through every exercise, and created personalized programming to do at home to guide me through recovery. The environment in the clinic is so happy, positive, and encouraging. I looked forward to every appointment. I could not recommend the Bay State South Boston clinic more. Justine, Kelsey, and Anders are all so friendly and empowering and I enjoyed feeling my own progress and celebrating with others as they "graduated" from PT. I wish I could keep going back each week. Endless thanks to Justine and the team at Bay State PT for all you did for me. 16 weeks post-injury I was able to run my marathon.
Michael Hangis: My first time at Bay state I had a rotor cuff tear and we worked on strengthening muscles around it and I have not had any problems. This time I am having problems with my knee and we are working on strengthening the muscle controlling that and I have confidence this will work. Now I am doing pre-hab on the knee to strength it before I have it replaced and will do my re-hab at Bay state
Molly Murphy: I looked forward to coming to my PT appointments every week! I was happy to not be in pain anymore, but sad to graduate and not come back to see my friends at Bay State. Would 100% recommend.
Corinne Eysie: I had such a great experience at Bay State PT in South Boston. The whole staff is very friendly, flexible & helpful. Justine is the absolute best! In just 3 short months she changed my life- Can’t recommend enough!
Mallory Joyce: Have you ever wanted to gain family members/BFFs while simultaneously relieving the pain you're experiencing? Well then, Bay State Physical Therapy South Boston is your spot. These PT specialists will care more about your injuries and path to recovery than your mom. And if your mom is anything like mine, she cares A LOT. I was assigned Justine as my PT but to be honest, each PT at Bay State was invested in my recovery. What else is there to say other than I love these Physical Therapists. And you should, too.
John Desmond: Kelsey Hanahan is a superb physical therapist. After my 70 th birthday things frankly started to go downhill….fast….. I started to feel more than my usual run of aches and pains.Kelsey after conducting a comprehensive evaluation, initiated a treatment plan to address my acute pain and provided a prescription of exercises to promote maximum levels of function and comfit as I continue to age.In addition to Kelsey’s outstanding skills as a therapist she possesses a warm and pleasant personality which has made working with her a pleasure. Her efforts on my behalf were reinforced by her manager Justine Beauchamp and colleague, Anders who were always available to provide further expertise and encouragement.So…..you wanna feel better? Call Bay State Physical Therapy.John F Desmond
Kristina McGeary: I cannot express how highly I think of the staff at Bay State Physical Therapy, especially my PT Justine. I initially visited with a referral for my son from his pediatrician for PT services and from the minute I arrived Justine greeted us and shared her input and advice on the given situation. Before I had even arrived home, I received an email from Justine with his exercise plan! Completely appreciated her warm demeanor, efficiency and follow through! The best part - she genuinely asked how I was doing after having my second child and now I am seeing her on a regular basis to build up my strength and endurance post c-section. She makes sessions fun and comfortable and I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with her and her team. Highly recommend!!
Josh Schramm: I have been to a few different physical therapy companies and South Boston Bay State Physical Therapy is head and shoulders above anywhere else I've been to. The staff are always welcoming, positive, and, most importantly to me, realistic. Right after my injury I was told what my timeline would be for the next few weeks, how long I would need to come in for, and what state I would be in when I finished my PT sessions. Everything they told me was spot on and I really appreciated that. On top of that, the physical therapists, especially Anders who assisted me, are extremely knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my PT questions no matter how random or unrelated to my own injury. I highly highly recommend this Bay State location.
Elijah Camner: In being a 20 year athlete, injuries are inevitable. I have spent a great deal of time in training rooms, especially after having full shoulder reconstruction surgery. A recovery process is tough regardless of your situation, but I was extremely fortunate to have undergone rehab at Bay State in South Boston. The level of personalized care, paired with remarkable expertise, has given me full confidence in my recovery. Specifically, Kelsey Hanahan was truly amazing - I have had a multitude of trainers in my tenure, but she was by far one to be remembered. Her customized and curated regiment was perfect for my recovery and this, paired with an amazing culture and aura that Justine Beauchamp sets in the office, created an environment of trust, encouragement, and delight. I could not recommend a PT place for any and all people!
M S: Staff at South Boston location have been outstanding throughout my treatment for an elbow injury. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
Kevin Bartel: After a year of dealing with an injury doctors could not figure out what was wrong with with me and I almost gave up hope on figuring out what exactly was wrong. Luckily I gave it a final shot by calling Bay State PT on West Broadway, thank God I did! Kelsey answered the phone and immediately knew what was going on with me. She got me an appt that day and I am extremely grateful I was able to get in there. She was so motivated and upbeat it made me feel a sense of positivity about my injury that I hadn’t thought was possible. The level of intensity in her understanding of my issue is what shows she truly cares about her job. I cannot thank them enough and I am truly blessed to have fallen upon this amazing group of young professionals. The great time and effort in understanding each patient’s issue as everyone is unique speaks volumes about how outstanding the care is at this facility.
Alexandra Khachatryan: I was very skeptical to go to physical therapy after some mediocre past experiences but man oh man this place - both management and staff blew me out of the water. Very impressed by the level of knowledge and patient care. Highly professional and skilled at what they do. Particularly by Anders who empathetically helped me heal an injury and was supportive every step of the way. She never hesitated to answer all of my questions (there were many) with a deep level of expertise. And Justine who specializes in Pelvic PT really helped me post-partum and now I feel even more equipped physically. Hard to believe but I always looked forward to my PT appointments. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
Maria: I received excellent care at Bay State Physical Therapy in South Boston. I had a frozen shoulder with severe stiffness. I worked with Justine for a few weeks and had great results. Thanks to Justine my sessions were not as stressful. I had to reschedule my appointment and Justine was able to still work with me on other days. The entire team is friendly and professional.
Zachary Proman: I had surgery to repair a second tear in the same meniscus back in December. After 3-4 months under this office's care, I don't think I could have been in better hands. Justine, Kelsey and the rest of the team looked out for me every step of the way and knew exactly what they were doing. My range of motion returned, my pain was minimal, and my strength was rebuilt quicker than anticipated. I could not recommend them more - they are positive and fun, but serious enough to keep you focused on your progress while you are there. Go here.

Lawrence Driscoll: Phil at Joint Ventures in Kenmore Square did a fantastic job getting me back into running after knee surgery!
Mary Murray: Individual attention and care. Targeted hands-on massage, and a gym of exercise equipment.
rock gnatovich: Great facility and better personnel. My physical therapist takes a wholistic view of specific issues resulting in a better outcome. Highly trained, intelligent with an excellent ability to articulate problems and solutions. Massage therapist is equally knowledgeable and committed to excellence. Been to many physical therapists. These folks are a cut above.
Cole Papadopoulos: I strongly recommend Joint Ventures. The admin assistant was responsive in helping me schedule an appointment at short notice over email, and incredibly helpful in helping obtain the relevant information from my referring doctor's office. (You'd think that would be easy, but the referring office was difficult to work with, and Linda was very helpful with the legwork so that I didn't have to spend so much time on the phone.)The physical therapist I saw, Cait Van Damm (OTD, OTR/L, RYT-500) made such a difference for me. This was my first time seeing a physical therapist for pelvic floor health. I came to Cait for gastro intestinal issues and I saw her twice a week for a month - I only stopped because I moved out of state. Cait performed abdominal massage in the sessions and taught me breathing practices, vagus nerve self-massage, and other physical therapy techniques I can do by myself. During this brief time I was attending these visits, my GI issues improved immensely. Cait has also reached out to check on how I'm doing, has offered telehealth follow up, and helped find recommended providers in my area. Additionally, she offered to discuss pelvic health with me holistically, including other issues beyond GI, and she provided helpful care in that regard as well.Cait was always communicative, consensual, friendly, compassionate, and approachable. She also came off very down to earth and funny, which helped me feel more relaxed. Gastro issues can be so mysterious and Cait demonstrated expertise and careful consideration in deciding what the next best steps or exercises should be for me. Cait demonstrated trans-specific knowledge and care that is unfortunately so rare in the medical field.Overall I can recommend Cait Van Damm as a provider who is incredibly smart, skilled, and caring.
Jeanne Traxler: Chris is an excellent Physical Therapist. He meets you where you are and understands what you know. I am a dance person, so I have a lot of body knowledge and Chris has been very good at helping me to regain function after an injury. He 'gets' my starting point, which helps me trust his recommendations for the therapy. I am improving.
E Adams: I've been going there off and on for years. Marissa M is wonderful to work with. She's attentive, compassionate, and above all, effective. The new office space is icing on the cake.
C. C. Colburn: Ryan O Hallohan= Best massage therapist in Boston. Joint Ventures is a great PT facility!
Sarah Margaret: Staff was very kind and helpful! My physical therapist Conlan was extremely knowledgable and created a great personalized program for me.
Annie Short: Cait Van Damm was absolutely great - she's super knowledgeable, listens well, is caring and fun, and helped me understand and improve my condition. The office staff at JV made it all work smoothly as well. I highly recommend Cait and the office.
Jacqueline Miller: Very hard sell .The physical therapist spent a long time using up my scheduled time not doing any work. Billed my insurance company for time he did not work. Wrote notes that he gave me exercises to do at home - which he did not do. I would have liked that. Wasted a lot of my time and got paid for work when he would not work.
Stephan Jacobs: Chill and effective. Skilled and caring people.
Louisa Monahan: Joint Ventures is great! Kyle is very knowledgable and has been super helpful in helping me regain motion and get stronger.
Mary Schipa: The best-trained practitioners and patient, caring help with chronic issues that I have found in the Boston area.
SUN JIN MOON: Friendly staff and physical therapists. I am pleased to go through rehabilitation process with Phil. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Recommend to try the physical therapy if you are injured.
Samantha L: I have seen a lot of improvement in my neck and back pain since I have started going here. I've tried chiropractors in the past and it's been continued service. For once, I am seeing improved service. Unfortunately, I have had some issues with my insurance and they have taken steps to work with them, which I appreciate. Instead of making me do it on my own.
E Aguilar: Professional and friendly environment. They offered me different approaches to treat the issue with my shoulder and I was able to choose what makes me more confortable. Easy access too!
Allison LH MacNabb: I found Cait Van Damm at Joint Ventures Kenmore Square by looking for covered physical/occupational therapists through my insurance. I really lucked out because she is GREAT! I saw her for postpartum healing/strengthening and I was amazed with the progress I made during our time working together. Cait is super knowledgeable and tailors your work and exercises to your individual situation. She is also a genuinely awesome person and fun to work with! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking pelvic floor physical therapy, whatever your reason. It was very easy to sign on as a patient at Joint Ventures - their website and initial survey was very easy to navigate and I received a call back quickly. Linda Nguyen, the administrative assistant, is super helpful with scheduling and sorting out insurance. She is always cheerful - a great person to see each time you walk in! I would not hesitate to work with Cait, Linda and Joint Ventures again should I need PT/OT in the future.
Michael Gruenbaum: Recently I was a patient of Danielle Eilert, the manager at Joint Ventures office at Kenmore Square. I had come down with arthritis , a swollen hip joint. My orthopedic doctor recommended a Cortisone shot, but said I should first try out Physical Therapy. After a few weekly sessions, I realized that the exercises that Ms. Eilert had me work on in addition to massages of the sore area, were really helping and in fact, the arthritis pains soon disappeared, so there was no need for a Cortisone shot, the duration of which, according to my orthopedic doctor, was questionable anyway. So I highly recommend Joint Ventures, and Ms. Eilert in particular - she is very knowledgeable about all the body parts and knows what she is doing.
Elana von der Heyden: I had an amazing experience at Joint Ventures! Cait was so attentive, skilled and caring, and made me feel so incredibly comfortable! Could not recommend more.
Sara Harris: After needing back surgery in December, Joint Ventures was there to help me start my road to recovery as soon as I got the OK to start physical therapy. From emailing me videos and images of the best stretches and exercises to answering all my questions in person, Phil has been great to work with. My strength is improving daily and you can’t ask for much more than that!
Joan Sarles Lee: I attend physical therapy at the Kenmore Square location and Ali is my physical therapist. I've had a lot of PT in the Boston area but this practice has provided the most thorough, knowledgeable and friendly service I've received. I love having my exercises on a phone app. Ali is very responsive and successfully helped cure my achilles tendonitis which had been lingering for over a year. I strongly recommend this practice.

Bay State Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Amy Chin: Started pt at this location on Gallivan Ave in Dorchester. I’ve lived up the road and had no idea this was even here. I’m glad there is an elevator up to the 2nd floor where they are located. This is only my 4th time there and the front desk staff are familiar with my face and name. The wide open space was a concern of mine for privacy but everyone really is so focused on their own recovery that I don’t feel self conscious at all. So far all the staff have seemed pretty happy to be there and doing their jobs. I have Lauren and she has been patient and happy to explain things to me in greater detail without making things feel rushed. I’m very pleased with the space and level of service there.
Darrell Green: Great staff working to get you back on your road to recovery.
Kevin J: Ciara is very knowledgeable and comes with great energy every day. The staff keep it a very comfortable setting from day one.
Nadege Francois: I had to wait weeks for an appointment. A few days before my appointment, I was told they didn’t have my member ID noted correctly so I either had to wait another week or pay out of pocket. I paid out of pocket because I was desperate. I was told I had a balance which my co-pays would be deducted from. Then I was told I didn’t and paid them a co-pay twice. Then I was told I still had a balance which my co-pay could be deducted from after all. I paid $40 and still have a credited balance. I was running late I called no one answered. I left a message saying I was running late due to work but I wanted to know if I should still come. I call again while I’m driving, no come picks up. As I’m parking I missed a call. I called back and said I was right at the light about to park. I was told I could come in. As I am walking lover I get a call that I can’t be seen because it’s been 15 minutes. Typically your appointments overlap with other people so the physical therapy’s is seeing you and someone else.
Mari Dari: I love this place!! I was so discouraged after my surgery, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get back to my normal life. With the help of this great team I’ve been able to do so much more after just a few short weeks. I’m shocked at the progress I’ve made so quickly, I can’t wait to see what I’m doing at the end of my treatments.
Ddee Thomas: Staff are amazing. Would highly recommend.
CYNTHIA ISRAEL: Friendly, listens to you and know their jobs
Peter Lyons: Great staff. Professional, engaging and attentive! Extremely clean facility.
Sandra Hines: I love attending this site because it has a friendly atmosphere and has therapist who are caring and who wants the best for their patients. They do take the right precautions to make sure equipments are cleaned after every user. Great place to get your PT issues addressed.
Courtney Regan: I've had to visit them for two different issues in the last 6 months. Last Fall, my Dr didn't properly diagnose a flare up of my old torn rotator cuff. I was in constant pain. In working with John, he gave me an exercise of my neck that instantly cured the pain. My Dr missed a pinched nerve in my neck was the real issue. Now I'm doing PT for a running injury when I didn't listen to my body. Getting great PT this time as well. The whole team there is fab!
Necol 10008: Everyone at Bay State in Dorchester is so nice! After a long day at work, I look forward to going to such a great environment! Special thanks to John and Keira for all your help (:
Shia: Convenient location with friendly PTs. The space is one large room for PT with small private rooms for massages and chiropractic care. PT team seems to promote a good working environment which provides a comfortable and healing environment for clients. Anna and Keira are both knowledgeable and committed to great care.
Cassandra Small: First time in PT. Love everything about Bay State PT. Therapist listens to concerns and doesn’t over work you when you are in pain. Entire environment is a great vibe!
Mary Robin Walsh: Great clean facility with kind physical therapist s!
Lorrie Wright: Ciara is great almost as good as new. Except the roller!!!
Zeynep Luttik: Been going here for postpartum recovery and getting back to athletic activities without injuring myself and couldn’t have had a better experience so far. Anna has been great listening to my concerns, adjusting the plan based on improvement and my pain. Having worked out in the gym area, I can confidently say every PT is very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place!
Jenna Lee: Everyone here is really personable, friendly and professional. The PT therapist also seem really dedicated to the interns and the interns are also extremely helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere
Mike Legenthal: I worked with Anna, who does pelvic floor PT, and she was amazing. She is kind, professional, well-informed, and a delight to work with. Despite the delicate nature of the work, she made me feel comfortable and she helped me both in the office and also made me feel confident about how to make progress between sessions. I can't speak to the rest of the physical therapists, but if she's any indication, you're in for a great experience!
Sean O'Brien: The staff at Bay State PT in Dorchester deserve 5 Stars . They work we’ll together and with all the patients . I’ve been working with Amanda . She is always prepared, pleasant and ready to go to work . My recovery/ rehab has gone well because of her and the rest of the staff .
Myqwap U: Manager has an attitude.
Adam Gorski: ❤👍🏻

Women's Journey Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Haley DiNunzio: I cannot recommend Karlene enough- she truly is a PT mastermind. She has thoroughly and thoughtfully helped me navigate pelvic organ prolapse, strength and coordination with so much encouragement and positivity. Without a doubt, spending time with her is one of the best investments I have made in myself.
Ece Yildirim: Karlene is a wonderful and deeply caring practitioner. She is highly knowledgeable and extremely skilled. I'm so thankful to be able to refer patients to her and know they are in good hands!
Joan Bohlke: I highly recommend Karlene; her positivity and compassion are infectious. She helped me rebuild my core and and taught me to retrain my brain on the proper use of the core/deep abdominal muscles. After two kids in three years, this was no easy task. Thanks to Karlene I've been able to run again pain free and continue to gain the the core strength I lost and then some.
Kimberly Maxwell: Karlene is the best!! She was so wonderfully supportive, thorough, kind, and perceptive during each and every one of our sessions. I came into the experience feeling very doubtful, nervous, and emotional; Postpartum issues are not easy! Karlene has thoughtfully led me along the way to recovery at an even pace, cheering on my progress, listening to my worries, and calming my nerves. I can't say enough good things about her; I'm so very grateful I went. My issues are slowly and steadily resolving under the guidance and practiced skill of Women's Journey, and I continue to use the tools and exercises daily. Thank you, Karlene!!
Leah Archibald: Physical therapy at Women’s Journey made a huge improvement in my pelvic floor functioning in a very short period of time. Karlene helped me alleviate several problems I faced post-partum including unpleasant urination and pain during intercourse. Karlene’s loving demeanor made me feel instantly comfortable addressing subjects that I previously found embarrassing. The office is warm and welcoming, with big windows and a yoga area to stretch out before appointments. Karlene was extremely gentle during treatments, and she put together a program for me that really worked.
Francie Nolde: Karlene is masterful in dealing with very sensitive subjects, such as bladder control. She's a knowledgeable and empathic therapist who teaches one how to work with the body and mind, simultaneously. My condition has improved immeasurably, to the point that the exercises, rather than medication, are making it possible to not have leakage. At 81, I thought I was doomed to an ignominious state of weak pelvic muscles But, voila! A new woman! I will be grateful to Karlene forever. Francie N. from Boxborough.
