It was a fairly extensive job since, besides a new roof (with skylights, fan, numerous electrical sockets), a new wall, railings and a small extension to the deck had to be built. The company did an outstanding job. Very professional and very competent personnel. My only negative related to the weather. The deck was built over the winter months (December thru February) and there were some days when the workers were constructing in below freezing weather. Andrew Katz: We are thrilled with our new porch. Krisoula was amazing and patient while we figured out exactly what we wanted to build, and the materials we wanted to use. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the pros and cons of each decision we had to make in that respect. Her drawings really brought the project to life. Once we had the technical drawings from the Archadeck team, we discovered that the permitting process would require a variance because of city regulations, but she stuck with us and guided us through the process, even making sure that the application was completed properly. She even joined us on the prime time call with the Board of Appeals and spoke on our behalf. I’m quite sure that our approval wouldn’t have happened so quickly and easily if it weren’t for Krisoula’s help.Once construction started, Mike took over and he proved to be equally as patient and thorough. He was easy to contact and was always available to discuss the project. The crew working on our project was excellent and rather nice to have around the house. They were super friendly, respectful of our property, and did really high-quality work. In the past when we’ve had home renovations and repairs, we’ve had to pay close attention to the work to prevent mistakes or nonsensical construction. Not with this crew. Whenever I had a question, they had an answer and could explain how it was going to be resolved. And, if I didn’t like something, they were willing to change it. I’ve truly had to rethink what my role was supposed to be as a homeowner, because in the past I’ve had to micromanage the process. No one wants to do that, so this round of renovations was such a relief.Initial pricing and timing estimates were right on target. We had a few addendums, but our own fault for making some changes as the build was taking place. They were minor too. There were times when we thought we were going to have to pay more based on unexpected complexity of the build, but Archadeck never asked for more money despite the small surprises. Lumbar prices increased since we signed the contract, but we never heard a peep. Bottom line, the team was determined to get it done within the original budget, and even more importantly, they were determined to get it done right, to our liking. You really couldn’t ask for more!We would work with the Archadeck team again in a heartbeat. They were excellent partners on our porch build and exceeded expectations. We can’t wait for the nice weather so we can fully enjoy their hard work.

Mary Hawkins: We had a Quivett Cape assembled on our property by Walpole in June 2021. The shed itself is functional and solid. However, I would caution any purchaser against using Walpole to purchase/assemble/install. Our salesman, Mike Bevilacqua, never came to our location, never asked about roofing materials, did the bare minimum. He couldn't have been more disinterested or unhelpful. The folks at Pine Harbor were much more knowledgeable and responsive. The first time it rained, we had water seeping in, I reached out to Walpole Norwell several times to have them caulk. To our knowledge, no one ever showed up and we still have seepage. A strong Nor'easter just hit our area, and a large section of the shingles blew off down to the bare wood. In addition, the entire edge of the shingled roof can be lifted up by hand. I'm not sure the shingles were ever installed properly-it's like a cosmetic roof, not a functional roof. I reached out to Mike and was flatly told they don't repair roofs. We are in the process of having our brand new shed re-roofed.Bottom line, if we were to purchase another shed, we'd deal directly with Pine Harbor and have our own contractor build the shed. We have used Walpole Outdoors before with good results, but for the premium Walpole charges, our shed experience has been a disappointment to say the least.

I look online to confirm inventory and location within the store for items I need to hold in hand first, otherwise I use their store pickup option, both of which work as hoped. My only issue is some of the codes that are used for product locations, the numbered aisles are perfect, but the letter codes make no sense, hence 4 stars, not 5

Marino perez: I would put zero but I can't. When I order the stove I was told I was going to get it in 7 days. On the 6th day I called them I asked them what time I was getting the stove. They told me I'm getting in another 7 days. 14 days to get a stove and wait 35 minutes everytime you call to check status. I ended cancelled and buy one from lowes. In overall case don't expect to much from their delivery

Stonegate gardens was a hoot, they have a lot of different areas in the shop to browse for a variety of indoor and outdoor plants as well as extensive outdoor property with conifers and a tranquil waterfall. Can't wait to visit again for their Christmas offerings!

Very disappointing experience with their customer service. They dont give any warranty on their plants or after sales support. Funny enough they pointed to us to their selection of remedies we could buy to help the trees. This was the first and last time for us at Stonegate.

Beau Cote: We live local so this is our local hardware store. We used to go to the Watertown location and between the two this one is better. Register staff is generally always helpful. Staff around the store are generally not. I came to buy a Makita saw recently when the Milwaukee rep was there and literally nobody would help unlock the cage so I could buy the saw and they were all talking behind my back to the Milwaukee rep about how I didn’t know what I was doing. If you’re going to keep things behind lock and key, then have staff appropriately around the store to help. It’ll probably do the job if you need to come here but don’t expect much help. Plan ahead.

Bob Schoenberg: The store had various strong chemical smells that I had to leave. Two items I wanted they didn't have. Never found the 3rd one because I had to leave the store to get some fresh air. I like shopping at Home Depot, but not this one. I was with a friend who also had to leave because the fumes were stinging her eyes.

Robert Diflumeri: I would recommend going to harbor freight for almost everything because of the price difference but home Depot is still pretty solid. Prices could be a lot cheaper and the employees are a 50 50. Most of the guys that work there are really calm helpful and level headed but most of the women who work here act like you're asking the world of them when you ask a simple question.
