Tory Larsen: Yankee Pest Control has been a wonderful company to work with since buying our first home. It's an old home, build 1900, and we unfortunately came across evidence of rodents after we purchased and YPC was recommended by a friend. Galvin, the owner, came out soon after I called to investigate the problem. He made some recommendations of things I could do myself to help with the problem and the set me up on their yearly pest control program (which is very reasonably priced).After I set up the program, Johnny, a technician was out at our place and did a thorough investigation of the exterior and interior of the foundation and filled a few holes he found to keep rodents out. He set up bait stations and traps, and then sprayed around the house to keep bugs out as well. Johnny explained everything really well along the way and let me know things to keep an eye out for. He came back a few weeks later to assess for any rodent activity. Johnny was also super enthusiastic about his job and seemed to really care about keeping our home free of pests.One of the exterior traps did end up catching something a few weeks later, and I called YPC to see if they could take care of it. Within 15 minutes, Dennis was out at our place and dealt with the issue. He also went above and beyond and fixed some problems he found with our garage to further keep rodents out. He was also a really nice guy who seemed to really enjoy his job and care about helping out his customers.I would also be remiss to leave out all the folks I've talked to on the phone along the way. They have been very helpful and kind.It's weird to say about a pest control company, but these guys have been a big blessing for our family since moving into our new (old) home. They came out within a few days and gave me a written quote, then stuck to it. Others said they could have someone stop by in a few weeks, and one said in three months! Some never followed up with the written quotes they promised. The rest of the industry has a lot to learn about customer service, and GreenHow seems to get it. The tech, Jason, was very knowledgeable and actually cares about solving problems, not just getting to the next job. Their office staff was always helpful, too.
