Bay State Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Brenda Mastricola: Excellent, friendly atmosphere. Easy going. Very knowledgeable with their work. Flexible scheduling.
Andrew Filiberti: Going to Bay State was a pleasure. Came in with ankle weakness after a severe sprain and was able to gain almost all function back. John was super friendly to work with and really knows what exercises are best to help you feel better. The trainers here make this place great. Overall a great experience.
Scott Lee: Bay State SOUTH BOSTON has exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to quality care and client services. From my first interaction over the phone, I immediately felt at home at Bay State. Justine, Kelsey, and Anders are incredibly caring and knowledgable. Undoubtedly one of the most outstanding clinics I've had the pleasure to be cared at.
Natalie Koffarnus: Its the Physical Therapists that make this place great! PT really can be a game changer when matched with the right person. Love the way they conduct their sessions. Easy to make and change appointments around life. There is on street parking, or just two blocks away a small parking lot with free 2 hour parking.
Shawn Maca: You’re very helpful and very kind knowledgeable and they care about their patients
jim murphy: Justin has set a very caring atmosphere
Gerry Conley: The staff at Bay State Physical Therapy is great. My therapist Kelcie is amazing. She is so kind and patient , she takes the time to listen to me about what I feel are problems with my knee she explains what it is she is going to be doing before she touches my knee. I couldn't ask for a better therapist. The rest of the staff is also helpful and nice ( including the receptionist out front ) she is basically the face of Bay State when you walk in. I can't say enough good things about Bay State.
Caroline Agid: I can honestly say Bay State PT changed my life. I severely sprained my ankle 16 weeks before I was supposed to run a marathon. My mother (a retired PT) insisted I ask for a PT referral to help my recovery so I could safely return to running and ideally build up to long distances. Enter Bay State PT. Upon my first visit in my walking boot, I immediately felt like a family member to my PT, Justine. She answered all of my questions, connecting with me as a person and as a patient, led me through every exercise, and created personalized programming to do at home to guide me through recovery. The environment in the clinic is so happy, positive, and encouraging. I looked forward to every appointment. I could not recommend the Bay State South Boston clinic more. Justine, Kelsey, and Anders are all so friendly and empowering and I enjoyed feeling my own progress and celebrating with others as they "graduated" from PT. I wish I could keep going back each week. Endless thanks to Justine and the team at Bay State PT for all you did for me. 16 weeks post-injury I was able to run my marathon.
Michael Hangis: My first time at Bay state I had a rotor cuff tear and we worked on strengthening muscles around it and I have not had any problems. This time I am having problems with my knee and we are working on strengthening the muscle controlling that and I have confidence this will work. Now I am doing pre-hab on the knee to strength it before I have it replaced and will do my re-hab at Bay state
Molly Murphy: I looked forward to coming to my PT appointments every week! I was happy to not be in pain anymore, but sad to graduate and not come back to see my friends at Bay State. Would 100% recommend.
Corinne Eysie: I had such a great experience at Bay State PT in South Boston. The whole staff is very friendly, flexible & helpful. Justine is the absolute best! In just 3 short months she changed my life- Can’t recommend enough!
Mallory Joyce: Have you ever wanted to gain family members/BFFs while simultaneously relieving the pain you're experiencing? Well then, Bay State Physical Therapy South Boston is your spot. These PT specialists will care more about your injuries and path to recovery than your mom. And if your mom is anything like mine, she cares A LOT. I was assigned Justine as my PT but to be honest, each PT at Bay State was invested in my recovery. What else is there to say other than I love these Physical Therapists. And you should, too.
John Desmond: Kelsey Hanahan is a superb physical therapist. After my 70 th birthday things frankly started to go downhill….fast….. I started to feel more than my usual run of aches and pains.Kelsey after conducting a comprehensive evaluation, initiated a treatment plan to address my acute pain and provided a prescription of exercises to promote maximum levels of function and comfit as I continue to age.In addition to Kelsey’s outstanding skills as a therapist she possesses a warm and pleasant personality which has made working with her a pleasure. Her efforts on my behalf were reinforced by her manager Justine Beauchamp and colleague, Anders who were always available to provide further expertise and encouragement.So…..you wanna feel better? Call Bay State Physical Therapy.John F Desmond
Kristina McGeary: I cannot express how highly I think of the staff at Bay State Physical Therapy, especially my PT Justine. I initially visited with a referral for my son from his pediatrician for PT services and from the minute I arrived Justine greeted us and shared her input and advice on the given situation. Before I had even arrived home, I received an email from Justine with his exercise plan! Completely appreciated her warm demeanor, efficiency and follow through! The best part - she genuinely asked how I was doing after having my second child and now I am seeing her on a regular basis to build up my strength and endurance post c-section. She makes sessions fun and comfortable and I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with her and her team. Highly recommend!!
Josh Schramm: I have been to a few different physical therapy companies and South Boston Bay State Physical Therapy is head and shoulders above anywhere else I've been to. The staff are always welcoming, positive, and, most importantly to me, realistic. Right after my injury I was told what my timeline would be for the next few weeks, how long I would need to come in for, and what state I would be in when I finished my PT sessions. Everything they told me was spot on and I really appreciated that. On top of that, the physical therapists, especially Anders who assisted me, are extremely knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my PT questions no matter how random or unrelated to my own injury. I highly highly recommend this Bay State location.
Elijah Camner: In being a 20 year athlete, injuries are inevitable. I have spent a great deal of time in training rooms, especially after having full shoulder reconstruction surgery. A recovery process is tough regardless of your situation, but I was extremely fortunate to have undergone rehab at Bay State in South Boston. The level of personalized care, paired with remarkable expertise, has given me full confidence in my recovery. Specifically, Kelsey Hanahan was truly amazing - I have had a multitude of trainers in my tenure, but she was by far one to be remembered. Her customized and curated regiment was perfect for my recovery and this, paired with an amazing culture and aura that Justine Beauchamp sets in the office, created an environment of trust, encouragement, and delight. I could not recommend a PT place for any and all people!
M S: Staff at South Boston location have been outstanding throughout my treatment for an elbow injury. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
Kevin Bartel: After a year of dealing with an injury doctors could not figure out what was wrong with with me and I almost gave up hope on figuring out what exactly was wrong. Luckily I gave it a final shot by calling Bay State PT on West Broadway, thank God I did! Kelsey answered the phone and immediately knew what was going on with me. She got me an appt that day and I am extremely grateful I was able to get in there. She was so motivated and upbeat it made me feel a sense of positivity about my injury that I hadn’t thought was possible. The level of intensity in her understanding of my issue is what shows she truly cares about her job. I cannot thank them enough and I am truly blessed to have fallen upon this amazing group of young professionals. The great time and effort in understanding each patient’s issue as everyone is unique speaks volumes about how outstanding the care is at this facility.
Alexandra Khachatryan: I was very skeptical to go to physical therapy after some mediocre past experiences but man oh man this place - both management and staff blew me out of the water. Very impressed by the level of knowledge and patient care. Highly professional and skilled at what they do. Particularly by Anders who empathetically helped me heal an injury and was supportive every step of the way. She never hesitated to answer all of my questions (there were many) with a deep level of expertise. And Justine who specializes in Pelvic PT really helped me post-partum and now I feel even more equipped physically. Hard to believe but I always looked forward to my PT appointments. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
Maria: I received excellent care at Bay State Physical Therapy in South Boston. I had a frozen shoulder with severe stiffness. I worked with Justine for a few weeks and had great results. Thanks to Justine my sessions were not as stressful. I had to reschedule my appointment and Justine was able to still work with me on other days. The entire team is friendly and professional.
Zachary Proman: I had surgery to repair a second tear in the same meniscus back in December. After 3-4 months under this office's care, I don't think I could have been in better hands. Justine, Kelsey and the rest of the team looked out for me every step of the way and knew exactly what they were doing. My range of motion returned, my pain was minimal, and my strength was rebuilt quicker than anticipated. I could not recommend them more - they are positive and fun, but serious enough to keep you focused on your progress while you are there. Go here.

Blue Hills Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Moudi MSMA: Great experience! Looking forward to start my physical therapy.
Daphne Hatsopoulos: Erik is attentive, careful and very helpful.
Zach Laub: I was hit by a woman texting and driving while riding my bicycle in June. I had tightness and pain throughout my back, arms and neck that Erik helped me to recover from. I highly recommend seeing him for any troubles
Ian Root: in a life riddled with injuries, blue hills is the best place i've ever gone for physical therapy. one year out from getting my hip replaced i was still in a lot of pain because i'd been unable to find a physical therapist who would help me address the widespread atrophy from being immobile for so long. finally i got referred to blue hills. they work me hard and they pay attention to muscle groups outside of the specific site of my surgery, and after a few months of seeing them, my daily life is no longer dictated by my pain.
Arthur Duffy: Outstanding performance with back and shoulder injuries and they seem to cover everything. Knowledgeable staff and aides. Tremendous treatment of patients.

POST Physical Therapy: what do users think?
Rachel Becker: I saw Kelsey for pelvic floor PT and she was so helpful, encouraging, kind, flexible, and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things about her- HIGHLY recommended.
Jj Pope: I worked with Kelsey to assist in my recovery from a heel injury. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to helping me get back up and running. Would highly recommend her and Post PT for any treatments.
Joel Soo: Kelsey was great! Her approach was very personalised, thoughtful and thorough. Great at attending to your needs - saw her for my ACL in the past and shoulder is now 100%. Would highly recommend her!!
Lauren Hilliard: Super professional and knowledgeable staff. Kelsey H., PT, DPT is the best. Top of the line facilities as well.
Joe Monte: Kelsey was very helpful in my ACL recovery! Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!
Alex Torti: Kelsey is the best. She is the most professional, knowledgeable and actionable physical therapist you’ll ever meet. She is on top of everything and has my back feeling so much better after just a few sessions. I’ve been to her in the past for my acl knee rehab and I’m doing great with that too. You really won’t find better than her. :)
Scott Frankenthaler: I had a fantastic experience at POST PT. My PT Kelsey helped me through a complicated knee surgery recovery as well as chronic back pain. Kelsey is very knowledgeable, skilled and personable. I began my recovery barely able crutch around, and ended my recovery back to running and skiing, all thanks to Kelsey. Would not go to any other PT!
Calin Draia: Elyse is phenomenal!Highly recommend this place!
Shannon Massey: Not only is Elyse a talented therapist, I can count on her and my appointment to always be on time. I see her for dry-needling treatments on my jaw for clenching. Anyone with pain from clenching their teeth should see her!
Annie Zhang: PT has done wonders for me and brought back enjoyment of movement! I had chronic low back issues for several years and delayed going to see a PT until another severe episode came. I went to see Elyse at POST and she is so knowledgable and friendly - I would highly recommend Elyse to anyone looking for a physical therapist. We worked on stretching and strengthening areas to prevent/mitigate back pain. Elyse thoroughly explained any questions I had to help me better understand the reason behind each exercise we did. I'm so happy to report that I've been pain free since PT (even ran a half marathon pain free!). If my low back starts to feel achy or sensitive, I have the tools learned from PT to prevent low back pain.
Allyson McCann: I highly recommend POST PT (specifically the Boston location with Elyse). I had a fairly bad leg break that required surgery on my ankle. Elyse and the PT program she worked out had me seeing results quickly. Great advice and hands-on treatment.
Jillianne Liotta: I was referred to Elyse by a friend and fortunately she was able to see me same day when I was in a lot of pain. We’ve since worked on recovery and gaining strength back and happy to say that I am no longer in immediate pain after working out- something I had been living with and thought was my normal for too long. Highly recommend as a PT!
Emily Mullins: Incredible PT! Quick and responsive for booking and setup. More important, some of the best PT I've ever gotten. Both advice and hands on help. Action-oriented and outcome focused. Would highly recommend!
Alvaro Caceres: Fantastic place for PT. I saw Elyse H. for three different ailments (yes, I'm old) over several months and the PT made a huge difference. The space is clean and sessions always ran on time. Everyone I interacted with (mainly the therapist, but also admins through phone and email) was extremely pleasant and professional.
Karyn Ragonese: I have been working with Elyse for an injury I got from overriding my Peloton. Elyse is so knowledgeable about the body and injuries and stretching and the work she has done on my injury- I already notice a big difference. I highly recommend her.
Estella Lee: For the last few months, I went to POST for my 2 different issues - neck/ shoulder pain and waist (pulled tendons).Bennett Shake was my therapist for both sessions. He worked diligently to ease my neck and shoulder pain, so far my pain level is under control. Regarding my waist, I have regained my ability to hold and carry moderate weight stuffs. He always gave me excellent suggestions to do things differently to improve my situations. He is very polite and patient. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs the service. Thanks you very much Bennett!
Bill Lattanzi: Elyse Harrop is an outstanding PT, absolutely great. I have been going to her through the several year- process of my arthritic knees deteriorating, then getting two knee replacements. She's just so smart and skilled and well-trained and funny. She's also encouraging but also keeps you working at your best level. She was careful to analyze my issues and design exercises specific to my situation. She listens so well, and is a delight to spend the time with. After surgery, the docs said I'd get maybe 130 degrees flexibility. Seven months later, Elyse has me at 150 and 149. Go to Elyse, you won't regret it.
Bridget Hearn: Elyse has been a pleasure to work with. She’s extremely knowledgeable and has made my recovery easier by explaining how my body is healing and what it’s capable able of doing at each phase. The entire staff has kept me up to date on scheduling appointments and keeping me right on track. Great group!
Sara Laroche: I have been a patient at Post twice: once for a shoulder injury and more recently for a sprained ankle. I found both of the physical therapists I have worked with to be incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and caring. The support staff has also been super helpful and responsive. During COVID, I find that the practice goes above and beyond and I feel completely safe entering the office for in person appointments. All in all I highly recommend Post and will return again for any future injuries.
DJ H: My treatment with Nick S was fantastic! He was always professional, yet we managed to have fun and develop a real relationship - I looked forward to each session. He truly cares about his clients and the work he does and that passion came through in every session. Nick thoughtfully struck a reassuring balance between listening to me and my concerns, validating my experience, and developing a plan we both agreed on. He has an excellent ability to impart his knowledge with instruction and hands on work and I would absolutely recommend him for anyone!
Brittany Heiss: I saw Nick for about 6-8 weeks after a knee injury from running. He helped me strengthen my muscles and focus on stretching which resulted in a quick recovery. He was extremely professional and educated on the matter - explaining exactly what went wrong and what I needed to do to prevent runners knee in the future. It was a pleasure working with him and I’d highly recommend him as a PT!

Boston Physical Therapy & Wellness: what do users think?
Ruth Newhouse: I came to Boston Physical Therapy & Wellness with so much pain in my shoulder and left being able to rock-climb pain free! Huge things to JP (and Chris too!) for helping me regain my strength and become confident using my shoulder again. The continuous evaluation exercises were ideal. I couldn't have done it without you! Highest recommendation!
Elizabeth Dellus: My husband went to the Medford facility & I can’t say enough about Nate & Kelly! He had Nate most times & he took such personal care with my husband after his total knee replacement. If Nate thought he needed an extra day he would suggest it. Told my husband to take breaks in between so he didn’t get overly tired. If anyone I know needs PT I will be the first to suggest Boston Physical Therapy!
Isabella Grieco: I went to Boston PT and Wellness for around two years for a torn hip labrum. The staff there was always amazing. I worked with Danielle and Chris. Chris is truly one of the best there is. I was his very first patient!! Chris not only helped me get stronger but also taught me how to be a great runner as well. Both Chris and Danielle made my time there fun and enjoyable to go to. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Amit Madan: I started coming here after a car accident I was in around March ‘22 and I fully enjoyed looking forward to therapy every session because I have made steady progress with the help of Nate and Cam, and they were always engaging which helped distract me from the pain! With their help and the rest of the staff always keeping conversations going, I have come close to a perfect recovery sooner than I expected with all random flare ups that occurred. I highly recommend coming here for any of your PT needs to truly feel better!
Luke Jaber: As a current college athlete, I was dealing with a lot of nagging back and hamstring pain that was effecting my ability to be active and compete at the level I wanted to. After about a month and a half of PT, I was able to return to competition and felt stronger in doing so. I also learned a lot from the staff about body maintenance to ensure my body can continue to work the way I want it to!
Suanne Peterson: Everyone is knowledgeable and very personable. I followed their instructions faithfully and had excellent results.
Jackie Saideh: Physical Therapy 10/10Chris’s comedic relief 3/10Sean’s* dad jokes 8/10Nate’s music selection 9 /10
Tucker Livingston: I saw Kelly for a hip flexor injury - she was super helpful in diagnosing what the issue was and how to best recover from it. Would definitely recommend!
William Jordan: Staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I was scared that I may have long term difficulties but after an analysis by the trainer Kelly, she said “Give me 6 weeks”. Don’t you know that within that time frame I was functional again. As long as I keep up their deceptively simple routines, I’m confident my previously long recurring problems can be managed without pain.
Nolan Caile: Nate is a god among men
Alyssa ShenFilerman: It has been an absolutely wonderful experience getting PT at Boston PT & Wellness in Medford. As someone who likes to know the why behind the what, I loved working with Chris because he explained the purpose and goal of each PT exercise. He also helped me gauge safe ways to push my body as I was healing. Plus! Everyone who works here is so kind. Thanks Medford team!
Marika Hyland: I wouldn’t go anywhere else for PT. I tore my ACL in May 2019 and worked with Chris twice a week for close to a year after that. I don’t think I could have had a better recovery and owe a lot of that to the people at Boston PT & Wellness. I unfortunately tore my other ACL a few months ago and immediately knew I’d be back with Chris. Both injuries my surgeon has been very happy with my rehab progress from PT. Everyone here is supportive and helps you work toward your goals.
Elizabeth Hannon: I started going to the Medford location after straining my hamstring a month out from a marathon. The whole team was great in helping me get to the starting line healthy, and I was grateful to have running-specific treatment and advice from Chris. Since then, Kelly has been awesome in helping me fix muscle imbalances to prevent future injury as well as treating other flare ups. Highly recommend!!
Meredith Giesta: I’m happy to say that I looked forward to my weekly sessions after being in a car accident. Everyone is so helpful, friendly and welcoming.
Kimberly Mikesh: I came to Boston PT and Wellness with a running injury. Shout out to Jake who was amazing in helping me identify and shore up the weaknesses and imbalances that caused it in the first place. He answered my (unending) questions thoughtfully and always made me feel heard. Our sessions were fun and motivating and he gave me plenty to work on between sessions so I could keep improving. I'm back on the path to running stronger and more efficiently. 🙌
Jessica Pacheco: I joined the medford clinic back in February to July of 2021 to rehabilitate my tri mal ankle fracture. I started with Alex then Cameron. They truly both brought me back to my feet. Everyone else working there was super friendly and the energy was amazing so every session was made fun. I can walk, run, jump and have 98% of my rom back because of this amazing team of physical therapists. I can't thank them enough for helping me regain my strength and will return to them for any physical needs.
Marisa Dellatto: My experience at BPT&W has been incredible! My strength has improved to a level I could have never imagined, and it's all thanks to Nate and the team there. Couldn't recommend more.
David H: Emily is knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Thank you everyone at the clinic.
Dingel Berry: Customer service here was great! The receptionist, I believe named Jenna, was especially helpful and informed me and my child about our insurance and was always helpful in scheduling appointments!
Emilie Reid: Thanks to Boston PT I achieved my goal of regaining strength in my lower back. I felt my concerns were heard by my PT Emily, and she created.a program I can continue to use at home to stay strong. I always felt welcomed by the staff (Danielle and Gianna). Great experience overall. I highly recommend.
Brittany Sutton: Such friendly staff, great experience so far. Really thoughtful about accommodating your pace, scheduling, insurance/OOP, etc.

Spine & Sports Injury Center: what do users think?
Allison Hertz: I'm grateful to be working with Dr. Ryan Lunny at Spine & Sports Injury Center. Ryan has become an integral member of my health team and provides invaluable guidance and care. Through our work together, I've experienced significant improvement from chronic headaches along with other complex issues. Ryan is nuanced and holistic in his approach and is focused on empowering his patients to support themselves in the long-term. Thank you, Ryan and Spine & Sports Injury Center.
Stella Marquez-Murray: Came to Spine & Sports Injury Center for a "frozen shoulder", referred to by my colleague at work, who had been here for a knee injury from Jujitsu and recommended them highly.Dr. Derek Lam, has been my physical therapist and he really helped gain mobility since the very first sesion. He was patient and very professional and worked with me; despite the stress and tension I put on myself due to the lack of mobility. I fractured my knee patella back in March and I was completely guarded for the therapy and I know I made it hard on Derek but he was very kind. He also provided me with excercises for home;which also helped with my mobility.I truly think the focus of the doctors here is not only to help you improve but to go back to the levels of performance/mobility before your injury. Top notch practice, busy schedules but if you plan your sessions in advance, they can accommodate you. Highly recommended!
Tanner Smith: Dr. Green and the staff at Spine & Sports is top notch. I came in not being able to walk and left feeling 1000x better. Dr. Green is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and dedicated to helping clients feel and perform better. I can't recommend his services enough...I might even fly back to Boston just to see him if my lower back acts up again. 10 stars...seriously.
irina smirnova: My hip injury is reveling how good these guys are. Several months ago, I injured my hip and nursed the pain for couple months after what I went to Stephanie for examination and therapy. What Stephanie was able to do is determine why the hip was not working. After that, she warmed up my mussels and put the dislocated hip back. Finally, she explain what exercises would prevent it from happening again. After a cycle of follow-up therapy sessions for a month, I am now able to walk without pain and enjoy hiking. I am highly impressed by professionalism of Stephanie, and also she is a very nice person who makes you fill comfortable during the whole process.
Kelly Maguire: I cannot recommend Spine & Sports Injury Center enough!! I came in the middle of training for the Boston Marathon with a really painful knee issue. Stephanie took the time to really understand the root cause and explained everything in a way that made sense. After just a few sessions with Stephanie plus the at-home stretching she prescribed, the pain in my knee started to decrease and I was able to start running comfortably again. I continued my sessions up until race weekend, just to make sure that I was still feeling good. I couldn't have done it without her! I highly recommend Spine & Sports Injury Center - the people are kind, knowledgeable, and excellent at what they do.
Bram Lambrus: I came in to treat hand pain + tennis elbow that I developed playing racquet sports. Stephanie Samson was wonderful to work with, quickly diagnosing the issue, explaining the root cause, talking through all of my additional questions, working the affected tissues, and sharing an effective conditioning and stretching regimen that has helped reduce the pain and promote a strong foundation for longevity of play. The entire process, from intake to scheduling, was friendly and efficient and I was able to schedule an appointment within a week of my initial call. I highly recommend this group, it has exceeded expectations in all areas.
Alex Roederer: I went to Dr. Green after a year plus of chronic achilles tendonitis/tendonosis. After multiple experiences with PT I wanted to try something new and the Spine and Sports Injury Center had a range of next generation options to try. I have done laser treatment and most critically ARPwave sessions; After a single session I had no pain in the achilles. I was able to continuing training throughout and run the Boston Marathon without taking extended time off. I hope with continued session it will no longer be a problem. I highly recommend Dr. Green and the spine and sports injury center especially for those who feel they have exhausted all their options to return from injury.
Andrew Nader: With the help of Dr. Green (Chiropractor) and others at Spine & Sports Injury Center, I have been able to return to living a normal after a year plus of chronic back issues. Not too long ago, I was barely able to put on my socks after waking up in the morning. I'm now able to have a significantly better quality of life, and also continue exercise regimens like Crossfit. Due to having a job that requires me to sit at a desk chair for many hours of the day, my flexibility became horrendous. With the help of Dr. Green and specifically prescribed exercises (in addition to his traditional chiropractic care), I am now to touch my toes while keeping my legs straight after only a few minutes of warming up. Many Chiropractors I have experienced in the past told me that I should stop weightlifting all together and just stick to cardio. Dr. Green instead provided advice that allowed me to continue to participate in programs like Crossfit, while keeping me healthy and staying safe. He is the real deal! The Columbus Ave location is also incredibly easy to get to with lots of parking on the street and a paid lot. Going to Spine & Sports Injury is a must if you are suffering from any physical pain or mobility.
Nick Mancini: I started going to Dr. Green after having back pain for a couple months, thinking it would go away. Thankfully I came to my senses and found Spine & Sport. After a month my pain subsided and was able to return to my active lifestyle. What I appreciate most was Dr. Green’s willingness to not only treat the pain, but explain what was causing it, and then provide solutions such as bending with a hip hinge and suggesting a standing desk. Also I respect that there is no waiting, 10+ appointments and whenever time my appointment is that’s when I see the doctor.Highly recommend Spine & Sport to anyone who is having back troubles.
Lacey Rose: Dr. Ryan Lunny is the best I’ve ever worked with. I was a college athlete and have worked with many physical therapists and sports medicine doctors but no one compares. He is brilliant and explains everything so it makes sense. When I first came in to see him I had chronic foot pain and could barely turn my head. I hadn’t worked out in weeks because my body hurt so badly. He listened to everything I said and knew exactly what to do. Every time I see him he watches my movements first and then knows exactly where to touch and what to do to improve my mobility and how my body and muscles feel generally. After the first time I saw him I walked out feeling like he gave me a new body. I couldn’t believe the difference after seeing him just once. I am so grateful for Spine & Sports but especially Ryan. They also always answer the phone and are so nice and responsive. Always make me feel right at home and cared for. I can’t think them enough. Any price would be worth it, but they also take insurance so it’s not expensive. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you thank you thank you.
andrew paul: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Green’s since 2012. He and his staff have executed an adaptive treatment plan to meet my needs. I highly recommend Spine and Sports!
Peter Neal: I started receiving back treatments from Dr. Green when I began suffering from upper and lower back injuries due to daily workouts and golfing. From the very first day I met with Dr. Green, he took plenty of time to fully understand what and where my injuries and pain were located. From there, Dr. Green and his team designed a plan for my recovery which had included both treatments and exercises. In terms of his treatments, he incorporates manual practices and offers a deep bench of the latest treatment technology to also use if necessary. Given his extensive experience, his exercises that he taught me complimented the treatments extremely well. The combination of staying consistent with his treatments and continuing to incorporate his exercises is what helped my body make a full 100% recovery. To help prevent future back injuries and pain, Dr. Green continues to provide ongoing treatment while also mixing in new exercises to incorporate into my daily workouts. Lastly, his staff are all extremely responsive and welcoming throughout the entire experience. His staff also ensures that they can schedule appointments around your “work schedule.” I would strong recommend connecting with Dr. Green if you are experiencing any type of back pain and/or injury.
Sophie Lx: I snapped my back while working out aggressively at a gym, went to Dr.Green for a session, he fixed my lower back pain in one visit! Very informative, and professional.
Justin Efron: Dr. Green at Spine and Sports Injury Center has been a huge help for me getting my body feeling much better in just a couple months. Would highly recommend him to anyone, especially golfers.
Jeremiah O: I have been seeing Dr Green for a little over a year for lower back issues. Initially I saw him weekly and now it is more of a maintenance visit less frequently. Dr Green spent time explaining the root cause of the pain and provided a number of strengthening exercises to remedy the problem for good. I have since sent multiple friends and family members to his practice. Highly recommended!
Lars S.: Dr. Green and his team at Spine & Sports are fantastic. If you are looking for a place to do your physical therapy, this is it! Everyone here is experienced and all are super nice and helpful. They sure did help me heal my back pain quickly and get me back to the workout floor. I highly recommend them, no matter what physical therapy you need!
jeff macmonagle: Coming off a regenerative hip treatment, I found Dr. Green thru a search for dry needling treatments in Boston. I limped into Dr. Green's office, looking for relief from my ongoing discomfort. Dr. Green used a combination of dry needling and laser to release my hip tension and bring down the inflammation. We finished off with ten Arpwave treatments. Arpwave was a game-changer for strengthening the muscles in my legs that were weak and not correctly supporting my hip structure. Dr. Green played a significant role in my recovery, and I'm confident the strengthening treatments with Arpwave will allow me to continue the activities I enjoy the most. Many thanks to Dr. Green and his staff!- Jeff M
Kyle Garnick: I was referred to Dr. Green for laser treatment for my tennis elbow. Laser treatment seemed noninvasive and possibly too good to be true, but it started feeling much better after 2-3 visits. Price is very reasonable too. Can't recommend it highly enough!
Steve Faberman: I have been treated by Dr. Richard Green several times and would enthusiastically recommend him. He is very thorough and professional. Rather than rushing to adjust me and moving onto the next patient, he takes his time and explains what's going on and how best to treat it. He also makes use of the latest technology when appropriate so it's not always a manual adjustment. He also does a great job of teaching certain exercises that will help prevent future issues and his follow up is very much appreciated!
Luke Vigna: Spine and Sports Injury Center has been supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging during my recovery process. Dr. Green and Derek took the time to evaluate and treat my injury with care. The providers were personable, making me feel comfortable while being treated. I highly recommend Spine and Sports for their impressive chiropractic and physical therapy services.
Christine G: unclean. The treatment table has a rust and seems not disinfected. The doctor is a joke, unprepared and doesnt care with patient well being. Wasted time and effort visit.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center - The Ryan Center: what do users think?
David Gomes: Lizzy is an amazing therapist! I love working with her and the whole staff at the Ryan Center!
Stacy Scott: It is wonderful to be treated so well by a professional team that is well organized, top of their craft, kind and supportive. You almost want to find a reason to go there. They are the best.
Greg Beek: It was such a pleasant experience. Everyone was so professional. The building and environment was very clean. I very much would look forward to going back.
Thomas Dentremont: Great Job and timely.Thank You!
Jennifer Kohl: Excellent. Responsive. Trace is great, Flexible. Lots of expertise!
Belle: The physical therapist spend most of time during my session managing other patients and asked me to work on the exercises he taught me before. I don't know if this kind of multitasking is normal and expected here but I definitely feel my time and money is not well spent.
Wadner Simon: I’m always banged up from some lifting injury, and I just come right back to BUPTC and that part of my body never acts up again
Peter McGinnis: The input from students was greatly appreciated and I learned a lot, hopefully while helping them to learn as well. I look forward to my next time with them!
Henry Moura: They are very friendly and professional
MARIE DAMORE: They are the absolute best!!
Joseph LiPuma: In pain...couldn't sleep...a few sessions later, pain abated substantially, sleep possible. Focused, effective, compassionate PT...great stuff!
Matt Petty: This is my second experience at BU Physical Therapy. As was the case back in 2015, I have had an excellent experience. The staff is friendly, the space is modern and clean, and most important the therapists are professional and knowledgeable.I have been working with Trace Sears, who has made the rehab process fun while also ensuring I am healing and strengthening appropriately. Trace has implemented a nice mix of physically challenging workouts, while progressing in such a way that protects my body from any further injury.I could not be happier with my experience and highly recommend this Center for any PT needs.
Doug Most: So professional. So easy. So friendly. Great facility. Could not have been more impressed or more pleased.
Emily L.: Louise is the best physical therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I have fibromyalgia and a few areas of hypermobility. Louise takes into account my limitations without ever making me feel less-than. Her decades of expertise allow her to select the right exercises and provide modifications if things are too difficult for me at my current level. My body is thriving under her care! After less than two months, my overall pain is lower, and I've gained noticable muscle mass. Louise's energy is very good, and she knows how to keep my nervous system at ease, which is very important for keeping fibromyalgia pain low. I believe she truly cares about every patient and wants to help us improve our quality of life. I feel so incredibly lucky to be working with her that it's worth coming to BU from Dorchester twice a week. I truly believe Louise may be the best PT in the Boston area for complex patients like myself. In addition to Louise, I've had great experiences with the front desk and other staff, who are all warm and professional. I would give ten stars out of five of I could!
Xianjun Yu: Very and super good!
Ray Hardin: In my three visits so far, Chris Barucci has chosen exercises that specifically address the physical problems I'm dealing with. He listens and responds to my concerns and questions, helping to create a trusting relationship. I look forward to continuing our work together.
Lucine Boloyan: I am so grateful for my outstanding experience at BUPTC. I worked with Chris Barucci and a BU DPT student named Simran. Both were so attentive, knowledgeable, and offered quality patient-centered care. They gave me numerous exercises that helped me heal from my lower back pain in 2 months. I am excited to continue doing the exercises they gave me, which are realistic to complete at home. They also gave me tips to make my work stations at work and home more comfortable, and those changes helped tremendously. I appreciated that Chris and Simran normalized pain and reminded me that my body's abilities and strengths will vary from day to day. They instilled in me a positive body image, which also reduced a lot of my anxiety. Finally, the front desk workers are super friendly and organized, the facility is clean with lots of equipment, and everyone working with his or her PT seems happy, and all the PTs seem so happy too! There is a general positive disposition at BUPTC. I would recommend BU PTC to anyone!
Chenlin Zhu: Sarah is incredible! She is so nice and professional. I really like her training way.
Oressa Gray-Mullen: Really, really great center. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable. The staff I've met are patient and really seem to care how you're feeling. The others seem to be happily chatting and working with patients or discussing cases with each other. Good vibe. You never have to wait long and they have a clean, positive atmosphere. Well staffed because of the BU "interns". The parking is a bit tough if you drive, but not too bad. Well worth it. I've been going for months for a tricky injury and every session has been a good experience so far.
Alex Wong: The team at the BU Physical Therapy Center did a really good job of assessing the factors that aggravate my arthritic knees. They've developed a set of exercises to strengthen other muscle groups to help support the areas around my knees. The exercises are helping - I'm feeling less pain in my knees now. I highly recommend Elizabeth Whitehill and Parul Patel!
Kristen Hydinger: Great staff and atmosphere. Staff ask about your life and hobbies and interests - you're not just a number or a miscellaneous patient. Lots of equipment options so you're not waiting around for someone else to wrap up. Clean facility and staff have adhere to COVID safety. I feel comfortable there and appreciate that each session is deliberately geared toward not just helping me recover but toward returning to the activities and goals I set at my intake. For example, I really want to get back to doing yoga so my PT advised me on different modifications as well as materials yoga mats can be made out of and helped me find one that won't slip on my wood floors at home. He even helped me find a retailer selling the brand I'd decided on so I knew what it looked like and how much it cost. Scheduling definitely can be tight so either your schedule needs to be flexible or you need to book out 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure you're getting the slots you want. Highly recommend!

Boston Sports Medicine Physical Therapy, Brookline: what do users think?
Ashley Roth: Highly recommend!! The staff is wonderful and make PT fun. I have learned so much about how to take care of my back at home.
Kendra Clifton: I spent almost a year and a half working with Jenna and Amelia after my ACL surgery and couldn't recommend them more!! ACL recovery is not a fun process, but I looked forward to every single one of my PT appointments and they were great about identifying the right exercises and figuring out my lingering issues to get my function and fitness back. My knee improved, I had fun and was challenged to improve, and I would strongly encourage everyone to have their PT here :)
Devin M: I had an amazing experience here working with Emily and Kaitlin. I tore my ACL skiing and worked with Emily and Kaitlin pre and post op. I couldn't have been in better hands. They were so attentive and really listened to what my concerns were on my road to recovery. They also created great home exercise programs that were so vital to getting back to 100%! I am coming up on a year post-op and I am back to playing tennis, cross country skiing, and living my life without having to think about my knee. I am so grateful to them and couldn't recommend this amazing group more!
Stephen Rothman: I came in having right knee pain and I left feeling no pain at all! Staff are amazing, kind, funny, and most importantly knowledgeable! They'll answer any questions that you have as well as At Home Exercises. Shout out to Melissa, Emily, and Jenna! Amazing Trio! Appreciate the warming hospitality and helping me get through my Knee pain! 10/10, 5/5 on yelp! My only gripe is I wish they played more Drake lol. Other than that so good! Def recommend!
Bryan Kreusch: The staff are friendly and really know their stuff. They are always encouraging and are willing to work with you and whatever you feel comfortable and capable of doing. I hope I never have to use their services again, knock wood, but if I get injured in the future I will definitely seek their care.
Kaitlin Siempelkamp: I received the best care from the Boston Sports Medicine - Brookline team! I was blown away by how welcoming, supportive, intelligent and genuinely caring the specialists are here. I worked with Emily and Kaitlin who helped me heal from foot surgery. After completing treatment with them, I went from not walking at all to regaining full range of motion and strength in my foot. Their home plan was comprehensive and easy to follow, and they tailored it specifically to my needs and equipment I had access to. Despite the mental and physical stress of post-op healing, these two made PT enjoyable, encouraging and empowering. I will absolutely come here in the future should I need physical therapy again, and can't recommend them enough to others looking for a provider.
joseph bowers: I have had the privilege to work with Grace and Kaitlin after years of unsuccessfully dealing with Plantar Fasciitis - the outcome with their continued professionalism and guidance has me back walking 18 holes and hitting the ball better than ever before. I cannot speak more highly of the entire group at BSMPT - I was discharged today with my second gold star as they coached me through an additional shoulder injury - they deserve the stars far more than me - Thank You!!! - All the best to each of you - I am certain your futures are bright!
Samantha Bertasavage: I had an amazing experience here working with Amelia and Jenna! They were great with communication and working with me to meet all of my goals throughout my time working with them on recovering my ankle after a pretty gnarly sprain. Highly recommend, 10/10 on every level!
Morgan Bertram: A friendly staff plus clean office made for a great PT regime!
Mendie Welu: We have two busy teenagers, who both play a lot of soccer and basketball. We've had the pleasure of using the Boston Sports Medicine Brookline location to help both kids work through injuries. BSM was quick to get them diagnosed, scheduled, AND they are flexible, offering a variety of days and times to do PT. The staff is fun and energetic, and thoughtful about the treatments they use. Hopefully, we won't need to use them again, but if we do, then I won't hesitate to call!
Camron Wall: The staff at BSM Brookline is amazing. I felt very comfortable and had no issues asking about things as part of my PT. Emily and Jenna helped me recuperate and set me up for success. Definitely would recommend.
Carol Kagan: I went to Boston Sports Medicine after a less than stellar experience at another PT clinic. I worked with Emily and Jenna on my SI joint issue for several months and they helped me so much. They really focused on exercises to strengthen my core/hips, but they were sensitive to the fact that I'm not 25 anymore. The atmosphere is great, everyone is kind and friendly. I absolutely recommend this place! They are also great with follow up exercise programs via email. It was a great experience and if I need PT again, I'll go back!
Amalia Tagaris: The best PT practice with knowledgeable, experienced staff. My first time having PT, and am very happy with the results. Highly recommended.
Ben Nathanson: After moving heavy furniture up a flight of stairs, I messed up my achilles. Kaitlin, Emily, and the whole Brookline team helped me stretch, strengthen, and recover my running routine! They are serious about making progress while also being positive and fun to work with.
connor guerin: Truly a fun and uplifting experience! I worked with a few different PT therapists (shout out to Jenna and Grace) but everyone around in the office was a delight to work with. I've neglected my lingering injuries but when I finally came to my senses to treat them, they were extremely understanding while slowly building my strength back over the course of goal-specific steps both in-office and at home. Going for PT wasn't a chore rather it was a fun time where they pushed me, built my strength and were constantly in good spirits to joke around to keep everything light especially during the painful parts. I'm far better off now and feel stronger than before PT which has greatly improved my daily habits as well as my running and rock climbing. Can't thank the team enough!
Kaley Rohlinger: I had the best experience with the Boston Sports Medicine Brookline location. Grace was amazing and helped me recover from a knee injury that had seriously inhibited my ability to run. Thanks to Grace I'm stronger than ever! Everyone in the office is so friendly and attentive, too. Highly recommend!
Katy Magill: Grace and the team at Boston Sports Medicine helped me work through a recurring calf injury that had stopped me from running consistently for over a year, and I could not be more thankful. Grace took the time to listen to my symptoms and identify the issue, and crafted a plan to treat the immediate injury as well as underlying issues that might be contributing to it, and was so supportive and encouraging throughout the whole PT process. The exercises and treatment she recommended were the perfect balance between tough and effective, and I've incorporated many of them into my workout routine. The staff are super helpful and friendly, the location is very convenient, and scheduling is easy. Thanks so much to Grace and the entire team in Brookline for helping me get back to doing what I love!
Rebecca Leopold: Fabulous experience with Amelia over ~2 months to focus on healing & strengthening a lingering hamstring injury from running. Amelia catered to my athletic abilities and gave me accessible exercises for in the PT gym (and at home) to get me back in top shape. She and the rest of the staff are super great to be around (made me look forward to my weekly sessions!) - but also very goal-oriented to get you back out of the PT gym in good time. Highly recommend for anyone in the Boston / Cambridge area!
Meredith Barber: BSM Brookline is the reason I am still running healthy today! I initially went in with plantar fasciitis that had kept me from running and even walking around the city for months. Over the course of one summer working with Amelia and Jenna, I could return to running and even train for a half marathon. I also have been treated for IT band issues and a back/neck postural problem as well. Amelia and Jenna always considered how important it was to me to continue running and shaped my PT with those goals in mind. They are encouraging and understanding and knew when to push me or hold back. The office is a welcoming and happy space and I felt excited to go each week (but happy to be healed and stronger so I don’t have to return :) ). I recommend BSM to all my runner friends!
Jessica Ullian: I am so glad I chose Boston Sports Medicine for PT! From the beginning they were knowledgable and reassuring about my injury, and made it easy by taking care of the referral process with my doctor. All the practitioners are kind, skilled, and committed to helping you recover and learn to stay injury free. I'm planning to continue with them for recovery training and can't wait to keep working with them.
Daniel Brickell: I had excellent care at BSM PT. My PT was Amelia, who was nothing short of excellent in all respects. The quality of care, rapport and even responsiveness to my numerous questions was superb. Most importantly, the treatment and exercises were effective. I am now back to my regular intensive exercise of which I was previously incapable due to my injury.I would recommend Amelia to anyone in need of physical therapy.
