We come early to let her get familiar with the environment, Karen still refused let us let us in the classroom even it is nobody here. And told us we should only consider take the lesson outside the room. Even though later my dog was getting well with other dogs, Karen insisted refusing to let us in and the reason is we looked uncomfortable in the classroom. We are reasonable parents, and willing to accept solutions best for every dogs' parents. But this time in Karen's intermedia course at pet smart, we feel being treat different and discriminated. Never come to this Everett dog smart again!

Problemattik: Rapper Review!I gave Petsmart a 4 star review due to one reason... the way Beta fish and Reptiles are housed. The staff in Everett is always A1 which is why it's my home store. They always keep up with the cages. So this is more of a company review. With all the space in the store there should be a better reptile and beta area. The betas sit in a cup until one is lucky enough to be chosen like the aliens in Toy Story. You only need probably 10 small 5 gallon tanks at most for the Beta fish, and the Reptiles could have a bigger cage especially being so small and overpopulated.Service is good,

Justin Fong: I was recently 'forced' to take care of fish. Without Pet Shop, all my fish would be totally dead. The incredibly nice owner (since the 70s!!!) was there to answer my newbie fish owner questions, and helped with general suggestions on how to scale as things become more settled.I came back a week later for more tips, and again, the owner was again gracious with his time. Though I hope I don't have to visit often to replace fish, I look forward to coming back to learn more from the wonderful owner.(Not that this place is a petting zoo but they definitely get bonus points the super friendly dogs and a cat around that make the place feel very homey.)

The cat who lives at the store is bloated and full of internal parasites from drinking directly from the scummy goldfish tanks on the bottom racks. I'd rather support a big box chain store than this place.

They are already able to bond with new owners, i never bought a sick or neglected pet from this pop and son owed store. It's one of the last pet stores of its kind! Edward Leyva: WHAT A BAD SERVICE, Saturday June 18, 2022, approximately 2:30 pm, I went looking for a pet, after more than 30 minutes of waiting, the man who attended came out, he was cleaning the cages in the back where the pets are located. birds, he came out with a bad attitude, he was a man of about 35 years, with a beard, glasses and bald. I asked him about some pets and he told me that they did NOT have pets for sale??? Like me, there were other customers, some are buying products and food for their pets and he told them something that also made them uncomfortable? They put the products back in their place and left!! Every day I am surprised to see more people with that bad energy and attitude to serve customers, I imagine it was not the owner, for this reason it leaves a disappointment that I will not return to this store.

Esther Paik: I really only like this store because the owner has a cute cat. The store itself is really unsanitary and unclean, all the fish tanks look like they could use a good clean and the store overall is just very crusty. There's a back room with exotic animals, but it's always closed. I once went to this store while the back room was open because the owner was showing the pets there to a customer. I asked if I could go in too and he said no, I had to choose a specific animal from the list and let him know if I wanted to see it. Which was weird considering he basically was showing all of the available animals to that customer. He's also very strict about no photography in the room.The owner himself seems nice, but every time I've visited the store there's some sort of incident. Recently when I went, I noticed the owner's dog was casually drinking the dirty water on top of a bucket near the fish tanks; given the fish net on top of it, I assume it was water from the tanks themselves. I think if the owner is going to bring his pets, he needs to at least improve the supervision of them as he seems to be the only employee at the store. Overall, it's a fairly dirty environment that's a bit suspicious with the whole closed-off back room and the owner's rules.

Mary B: This place abuses animals, full stop. Reported to MSPCA law enforcement, and if you're reading this, PLEASE do the same. Animals here are all near death and held in disgusting conditions. They have a whole room in the back full of exotic birds that seems incredibly suspicious-- you aren't allowed to go back there and all photos and videos are banned. I believe this location to be a front for exotic bird smuggling. The dogs in this shop need to be confiscated by the MSPCA-- their fur is one massive mat and they barely moved when we entered the shop from heat exhaustion. The tanks are filthy and the birds are kept in squalor overloaded in tiny cages. Please please report this place, and take photos and video evidence if you can.

Molly Berenbaum: I booked 7 nights for my dog at the Cambridge Petsmart PetHotel, weeks in advance. They cancelled my reservation with WELL UNDER 24 hours' notice, at almost 5 pm the day before I was supposed to drop my dog off at 10 am. I had to cancel my flights and rebook my entire trip because it was not possible to find another boarding spot open for my dog the next day with - and I stress - zero business days' notice.The reason that they cancelled the reservation was that my dog has a mild exercise restriction for health reasons, which they said they could not accommodate. I had been very clear with them from the get-go about this condition, and the store employee I booked the reservation with said it would be no problem, as long I paid extra for the "individual" play time. Sure, alright. I also got a letter from my vet clearing him to stay at a normal, non-medical boarding facility just to be safe, and sent that to the store manager.I understand that a large company like Petsmart may not be able to accommodate dogs with any medical needs, even if the need is just "let him stay in his kennel during group play time." I understand there are liability issues, and that some things slip during the holiday season. If they had just told me from the start they couldn't take him, I would have been fine with that. If they had booked him and then a manager realized shortly after that a vet's signature wouldn't be good enough, I would have understood.My issue is that they booked him with enthusiastic assurances that all would be fine, wasted several weeks, took the vet paperwork I sent them, and then called at 5 PM THE DAY BEFORE MY FLIGHT to cancel the entire reservation with no other option (a waiver, a conversation with the vet, hell, even some kind of token store credit as an apology) offered.I will not book another boarding reservation here again even when my dog is fully healthy. If the system is this disorganized in terms of approving reservations and then revoking them with so little notice, I frankly don't trust them to be sufficiently responsible to care for my dog either. And I'm not risking canceling another trip home to see family just because they couldn't honor a boarding reservation, either. For Pete's sake, I should have just hired a dog sitter for less than half the money.

My pup never stops moving lol and her groomer Stephanie was absolutely fabulous with her and gave the perfect cut! I was able to fund all items I didn't need, ha isn't that the way. This location has worked out much better for me than the Cambridge store. Let me not slight them in this way though because the Cambridge Store Mgr followed up re an issue doing what he could to make it right and that's boss in my book!

This is not the stores fault as it’s a company issue.I use Worlds Best Cat Litter (Advanced Formula - No Mess) and the store use to have it. It was taken off shelf and now online sold online which is not convenient for me.The other issue is Cat Food. If you don’t pick up when they put on shelf, it’s gone. Specifically I’m speaking about Pro-Plan (Tuna - In Sauce). I keep having to purchase other kinds within the brand and it’s turning out to be a huge waste of money .Hopefully PetSmart will read this and start carrying the products I need in store as well as stocking up when a product is going to quick.PetSmart in Newton is honestly the best in appearance for a store. Everything is always organized and it’s easy to find exactly what you need. Everyone is extremely kind and all offer help if needed.

They were the closest and the only one open and we were a bit desperate for wet food for a picky kitty. The experience that night was so awful we vowed never to go back. BUT I recently broke that vow and went back in and this place seems like they are doing a lot better now and cleaned things up. Will come back again for some kitty treats.

Went in with a purchase as a prime member to make a return of a difective pet they were closed I went back when they finally opened.I called ahead to ask for a refund before bringing the pet in and they said no problem we will refund. When I show up I am met with snide remarks from the boss who wouldn’t even come out of the back room…. And no refund of course so I left my $175.00 worth of merchandise at the counter and told them to have a nice day.

I understand we all have bad days but Best advice Don’t go to this petco how can you trust your animals in hands of rude unprofessionals?

Michael Ermias: DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT step foot in this store if you love and value your dog, your time and your money. This place has turned into a complete disaster in the last couple of years. the icing on the cake for me was when I went there last week for a grooming appointment after months of trying to find an appointment slot. I get there only to be told they havent had a groomer there IN OVER A MONTH!! Then why the hell did the website let me make the appointment and then also receive a text on my phone the day before confirming the appointment?? I had to take time off a very busy work day to deal with that nonsense and lost valuable time and money. Guy at the store told me sorry it shouldn’t have let you make an appointment online, try another store. When I called corporate to speak with someone in charge, I was told I'd get a call back from a manager within the hour, that was a week ago lol!!!

penny timmons: I smells so bad!!!! It need to be power washed. The employees are helpful and kind. But that smell is something else.
Angela Peters: Not a great shopping experience. The store smells really bad. There were carts with random products just thrown on them. A package of small animal bedding was open and bedding was spilled on the shelf and floor. The few bettas they had were in sad shape. The only employees I saw were up at the registers, talking to each other. Between the mess, and the smell, I just wanted to get out of there. I didn’t buy anything and probably will not go in this location again.
Xiang Feng: terrible manager speaking very rude to customers, he kick me out without last call and just told me go out. When I told him your are rude and will get report, he seems not care at all said “go for it”. Really poor service, bad manager provided bad experience. How can a person like this to be a manager at Petco??? Petco have no good person anymore??
