Old North Church: what do users think?
J N: It was a Church of England church but appeared to be catholic… little bit confused about that… that’s not Church of England/Anglican.Nice service and people though. Great event put on today was just weird.
Christy Reed: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
David Gustafson: Awesome seeing history so well preserved
Cory Comer: The Old North Church is beautiful, and rich with history. An exceptional example of time-era propriety and social structures, it’s a time-travel like experience.
Cambridge Girl: No better place to learn about the United States Revolution!! You might even see Paul Revere!
Celestial Moetala: Amazing staff! Awesome pics of history
Bruce: Closed for the day
Karen Schoessler: Love the history of Boston. It always feels like a pilgrimage.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Karen Churchill: Def worth the $5 to get in. Self guided tour is informative. If you catch the 2:00 Guided Tour you get to go up to the top of the steeple where the lanterns were hung! Exciting! A must see if you enjoy churches like I do.
Bill Dooley: Beautiful building, great history
Smokey Weinhandl: Where it all began! USA!
Joshua Fagan: Come for the history, stay for the elegant architecture and serene atmosphere. This is where the famous lanterns were hung during Paul Revere's midnight ride, though it now commemorates the friendship between the United States and England. The Queen of England even visited here, and there are photos commemorating her. An air of solace hangs about this building, and it is a noble, elegantly unpretentious structure. There is more information than you could ever want to know, and it is readily available. There is a fee to go in, but it is only $5, a small price to pay in my view. Be sure to see the view of the church from the park, especially on a clear day. Looking past the Paul Revere statue, gleaming in the sunlight, to the celestial white spire of the church is an experienced both historically resonant and lyrically poetic.
Nico Samneil Salado: We just pass by to see why it is a tourist spot. Probably the history makes it but for someone who just wants something cool, nothing much to see. Typical old church infrastructure. There is no flat elvation for strollers when u use the back so u need to turn around the street. There is no parking space so find a garage
Jake Schroeder: Worth it for the history buffs in your group. Had a nice gift shop next door. Plan to spend around 30-45 minutes here.
Lady_J G: Standing piece of history!
Melissa Gautier: Beautiful architecture
Wade Williams: Beautiful piece of American history!
Hamish: Cool church
Quincee Kingston: Nice little historic stop
BeardMan: Boston

Old South Church in Boston: what do users think?
Scott Trenor: Beautiful
Guide my feet!! 🎶
Ed Chen: Old South Church was born in 1669 in a raging argument over the waters of baptism. Twenty eight men and about as many women (known then as “the Schismatics” or “the Dissenting Brethren”) broke away from Boston’s First Church to found a church aching to dispense the waters of baptism more liberally. Our founders were descendants of separatist and dissenting Pilgrims, Puritan reformers, and Bay Colony merchant adventurers. Their parents left England in the 17th century, some to escape persecution, and others to forge a more prosperous life in the New World. Our founders included a butcher, a bricklayer, a brewer, a fisherman, a bookseller, a shoemaker, two ship’s captains, a tailor, two felt-makers, an apothecary, several merchants, a mason, several selectmen, a mint-master, farmers, and a schoolmaster.
Rachel L: The rest of the reviews will give you an idea of the architecture and the beauty of the color stained glass panels but I’m leaving a review to warn you that the staff can be plain rude and unwelcoming.I came here with two family members on Easter Sunday and wandered into the Sanctuary side of the church after services had ended since there were no signs that entry was prohibited. Within 10 seconds, a volunteer / employee saw us and without skipping a beat started reprimanding us like children. Verbatim “how did you get in here” in a particularly rude and unwelcoming tone. A simple “sorry this area is closed to visitors” would have been more than sufficient. The irony that this church seems to preach the whole “all is welcome here” thing is not lost on us. I’m just glad I hadn’t yet gone through with the donations online towards the church before this awful interaction.
Phillip Stern: Friendly people and beautiful service in a gorgeous building.
Marcus Obards: The pastors had pronouns on their nametags.. this is a communist place
Barry Kukkuk: Went there for a string quartet concert. Was lovely
James Normington: simply beautiful
Arwen L: The architecture of this church is stunning and beautiful! It is also a national historic landmark so I highly encourage you to take some time and visit the church.
Ivo Coach: Impresionante. Nada más entrar me sobrecogió de belleza. Amplia, colorida, acogedora.
Regala King: Had a great time attending a classical music performance by candlelight. The atmosphere was fantastic. There was plenty of space for everyone. The church is conveniently located near Copley Station on the Green Line (trolley) and is a 5-minute walk from Back Bay Station on the Orange Line (train).
Joe Qiao: 老南教堂(Old South Church)是美国波士顿的一座教堂,属于联合基督教会(United Church of Christ)。
Fabiola Mañón: Hermosa y muy amigable .
Peter Hey (RV PLANET): Beautiful historic church next to Boston's Public Library (also worth checking out). Would have loved to hear its organ play. It was completed in 1873, designated National Historic Landmark in 1970 for its architectural significance as one of the finest High Victorian Gothic churches in New England. It is home to one of the oldest religious communities in the US.
Em Flynn Pesquera: A special, wonderful haven in the middle of the city of Boston. Go for a Sunday morning visit to feel the joy of community, open to all faiths and ways of life.
Erico Marrero: Beautiful building…
Ryan Sullivan: Lived around Boston most of my life, passed this church a few thousand times. Went in to see the Candlelight: Fleetwood Mac tribute ... Stunning.
Bruno Martins: Great church
Trevbon: I can't believe they made a whole building after Bloodborne
P Chaves: A quiet and peaceful place in such a noisy square beautiful building

Cathedral of the Holy Cross: what do users think?
Joseph Dennis Kelly: Beautiful church.
Concha: Espectacular.
Rosita Colon: Beautiful Church
John Carlson: Such an awe-inspiring cathedral. You feel lifted to heaven at Mass by the choir singing and the light passing through the stain-glassed windows.
Sea Jay: Father David Taurasi holds traditional Tridentine Latin mass as though it were his first and his last. Sermons are brilliant, educational, mesmerizing and inspiring. Gregorian chants add to the reverence of the mass. It is held in the beautiful downstairs chapel of the Cathedral. Not to be missed! Every Sunday at 10 am, follow path by Our Lady’s statue in the garden on left of Cathedral. Path leads down to lower level’s doors.
Tim Gannon: Beautiful. Visited at night. Lights are well placed. Windows show well at night.
Andrew Barclay: Beautiful Cathedral. Attended the Copley Singers performance, a great job.

Rudy Villarreal: Moving, spiritual , at peace.

Sofia Ramos Neves: I am there for camp and I am surprised because there is a basketball court there but it’s little

They welcomed my mom and sister with open arms, prayed for my son, talked to my family for along time and gave us candles to take home. We were told of the many miracles preformed. My son had brain surgery in 2018 and is doing amazing. We had many prayers and the best neurosurgeon in the world but I also believe that this church and our lady helped so much.
