Heartbreak Hill Running Company: what do users think?
KC C: Heartbreakers
Ngo Joke: Great place to get gear before a marathon!!!
edi santoso: Running shoes store
Nathalie Kumiega: I went in to buy a new pair of running shoes and I had a wonderful experience. I am by no means a hardcore runner but Fidelis made me feel welcome and took the time to help me find just the right pair. I would highly recommend to my friends in the market for new shoes.
Peter Rachlin: Extremely helpful and exceptional staff, good supply of running shoe, clothes and accessories. I accidentally left a bag and they went above and beyond to return it to me.
Chris Bailey: Dropped by on a Saturday, was given some very good advice and help on determining the shoes I need for my wacky ankles. The staff was friendly and got me exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend.
Heather Moore: I was lucky enough to order one of the Adidas Lime Pulse Marathon shirts before they sold out. Not only did it arrive ahead of schedule but there was also a sweet note of encouragement sent with it. Excellent customer service! Thank you Heartbreak Hill~!
Jaime Dawes: Great store with nice selection of running shoes and gear! Staff was very helpful and accommodating when I unexpectedly needed to replace my running shoes for the Boston marathon.
Jim Olds: Nice store friendly staff
Lindsey Nally: Highly recommended this store! I’ve purchased running shoes online and have never been able to find a good fit. This was my second purchase at Heartbreak and both shoes have fit perfectly! The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about running and the products they sell!!
Brendan Bennett: Worst display of customer service I have seen in a long long time. My friend and I walked into the store, and the 2 employees behind the desk did not even look at us when walked in. No form of greeting or acknowledgement whatsoever. After browsing for over 5 minutes, looking at shoes, picking them up, checking them out, nobody had come over to us to see if we needed help or wanted to try anything on. With that, I made my decision that this store did not deserve the sale. They lost two paying customers yesterday.
Ryan Goldberg: Customer service was amazing. Placed an order online and the package came super fast. If you need something please shop here. They are great
Chan S: Exceptional service in what must be a tough time during the pandemic. Kudos to the team for maintaining an outstanding customer experience! This note in my eagerly anticipated Christmas delivery warmed my heart :)
Spencer Pozder: Very knowledgeable employees and great selection! I needed new running shoes and hadn't bought them in a while but I received enough help to feel very confident in my purchase.
George Jones: Knowledgeable, kind, strait forward, and helpful staff, with a great selection of quality products at good prices!
Joel Seah: Cosy place with great and helpful staff!
Prasad V: Excellent service. Great choice. Friendly staff.
Xylene Graves: Super patient staff and quite friendly. I was looking for the most stable and supportive sneaker manufactured for the 2018 running season and for my "flat as a board foot." (My description not theirs.) Shoe shopping is a chore and a half for me, so I was there for a little more than an hour, trying on every "most stable" sneaker with various orthotics, including my own. They must have made 5 trips to the basement for me and offered to order me at least 2 different models of shoes that they did not have in the color or/and size that I wanted or needed. They also called the Newton store to have a pair put on hold for me, for if they needed to be sent to the Boston store. In the end, I got the last pair of sneakers I tried on, more an hour later, and they stuck it out with me. Thank you!!The selection is rather small, if you really need motion control and supportive shoes, but if you are a typically footed person or runner the selection is great and high quality while not being overwhelming with too many choices. There is no New Balance because New Balance has its own stores around Boston. All sneakers are geared toward running and in adult sizes.Store is not wheelchair accessible.
Karin Bruil: Nice store, friendly staff and above all a great community open to everyone, any level of running!
Britt Ayotte: Incredibly helpful and friendly
Jamie Pidcock: Amazing service. They put me on the treadmill and recorded my running motion and explained some different options for shoes. I tried on 4 or 5 different brands and found the right fit. Great experience!

Tracksmith Trackhouse: what do users think?
Neil Martin: Filled with runners and stuff for runners.
Steve Wagner: I’m a big fan of Tracksmith apparel and the vintage vibe, and walking into the track house is like a step back in time. As always, the staff was friendly and helpful.
Carlos Sisniega: Best place to buy running gear in the world!!
Tyler Woodard: Great run specialty shop!
M Grand: Great clothes..but small selection in store .. and frankly staff not all that welcoming.. Saturday afternoon .. before Easter . Rest of Newbury street buzzing .. store had 2 customers .. maybe stick with online sales where your catalogue and presence is warmer .. store is beautiful.. attitude and warmth of people in store not that much
Michelle Lemon: Great store. Friendly staff.
Ngo Joke: Great vibes here
Bonnie Lee: The whole reason for the trip!! A visit to where the magic happens. Just wanted to touch my feet on the mothership
Pedro Falcao: I tried to purchase a gift to my daughter, that lives in London, and it was canceled twice without any real explanation why or any chance of recovering the order. Therefore if you really want to buy something on time for whatsoever, better try any other on-line company, not as incompetent as this one.Order #F6478482 was canceled because we suspect it is fraudulent .
Andrew Beauchesne: High quality, comfortable, classically beautiful running apparel. Love joining the Sunday group runs from the track house.
Kimberly P.: When I made my purchase, which was a gift, I indicated that I did not want to receive any kind of mail/marketing from Tracksmith. They ignored this. Not only do they send magazines to my billing address, they send it to the shipping address I used as well. Then they sold my information - I've started receiving magazines from 2 other running-obsessed businesses. I HATE running. I would honestly rather die. My purchase was a gift. Take me out of your system.
Amber Williams: Visiting in town for work. Got absorbed by the running group and just went along with it. Fun crowd! I plan to formally start with the group next time I visit. Thanks y’all!
Russell Ericksen: Horrible, horrible experience
Carsten Lohmann: Nice shop and some good stuff, but not a broad range for running.Very friendly staff there!
Jose Crosby: Was a bucket item list for myself and it lived up to the hype. An amazing store with such a rich history of Boston running! Highly recommend this place for every runner!
Michael Schroeder: Had a shirt with a seam that came out. No big deal. I told them about it, they sent me a digital code for a gift card to replace it. The code was for $58. That’s $10 less than it would cost to replace the shirt ($68) and they were going to charge me $10 shipping on to of that. So, my $68 shirt that fell apart becomes an $88 shirt. I asked them to either increase the value of the code or just send me a replacement. They agreed to send a replacement, and 10 days later it still hasn’t shipped. I contacted them again, and they’ve replaced the order but I still don’t have an order summary or any idea when to expect the replacement shirt. For a $68 tee shirt that fell apart with a handful of used, I’d expect much better service. It would be a one star review, but it’s a great shirt. Ran Eau Claire Marathon in it and it was great.
Ignacio Arellano: Great running store. Is a must for runners in your visit to Boston. Don't forget to go for your poster at the end of each Marathon.
Zach Alden: Love Tracksmith! Great community of runners.
Scott M: *Updating to 5 stars - it appears I had a bad batch or something. They offered to fix or replace the items.I want so so badly to love Tracksmith. Their designs are second to none...but I've had issues with their quality. Two pairs of running pants have already started splitting at the seems less than a year into owning. I have a pullover that is also showing a lot of age with stitching coming undone after very little use. If they can improve their quality they would literally get all of my money, but I can't keep buying from them after my last few experiences.
SADIQ AL-HAJJI: Friendly staff and q unique place for a running store. Their clothes material is high quality.
gilang pramuwidyatama: Friendly and helpful customer service. The warmest I ever got when I shop in the USA.

Boston Running Center: what do users think?
Michael Flanagan: When I started with Boston Running Center and coach Joe McConkey my previous best 5K time was 23:22. After 6 months of working on form, strength, and running ability I ran a PR at 22:19 for a 5K at the tail end of a triathlon. At 50 years old you just don't usually see those kind of improvements. Best part is when I came to Coach Joe I would get terrible Achilles tendinopathy when I ran, and now that is gone. Worth every penny.
Joshua Parker: Amazing experience with Joe and Boston Running Center - he covered every base, from a varied training program (speed, distance, track), to strength, to gait analysis/improvement, to deliberate recovery, to nutrition, to race strategy. With his coaching I went from a 3:45 marathon to sub-three in 5 months. Joe and team will help you develop an actionable strategy to meet your goals.
Elizabeth Oliva: Good
Drew Deppen: Place is the tops. Coaches are studs. Best place around by far. Academic and athletic approach to training. Couldn't be better.

Boston Athletic Association: what do users think?
Jeremy Hugh: Treat fundraising runners like garbage. Fair that 2020 is cancelled but not giving deferment t charity runners like the rest of the marathon majors participants shows how much they actually care. Meanwhile, you can resubmit your 2019 qualifying times for 2021 🤔
Caleb Burke: Only reviewed 5 stars because the only review available was one star. It couldn't be THAT bad, right?
Tricia Sylva: Throwing Ol Glory on the ground.... Unacceptable

Heartbreak Hill Running Company: what do users think?
Patrick McKenna: Always have what I need when I go in. In an easy place to reach in Cambridge over near Central. Parking outside on the street is always available if needed. Staff is always helpful, and full of answers for any easy or technical questions you may have. They do host runs from time to time as well. Free stickers at the register.
Michelle Lu: Amanda was great! She was very helpful and patient to answer all our questions.
Jesse Galloway: A well-stocked running shoe and supply store. Staffed by knowledgeable runners who will make sure you end up with the right shoe!
Huiying Yang: I went there with my husband to find pair of running shoes for him. The service we received is incredible. The staff is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. He provided the very useful info based on our questions and recommended some good models with good value, instead of most fancy or expensive ones. And my husband was even allowed to try them out by a quick outdoor run. In conclusion, we are very happy with our purchase experience there and definitely will recommend it to anyone else.
Mary Sedlak: I walked in to ask about whether or not trail running shoes were required for a trail marathon marketed as friendly for beginners while on a walk, and I was so pleased to find that 1) the staff member was incredibly knowledgeable and 2) he answered that no, they probably weren’t necessary, but explained what their options were and the pros/cons of each without pressuring me to buy anything.
SADIQ AL-HAJJI: I had quick visit to the store to get some gels and the staff were welcome and knowledgeable of the products.
Benjamin Weckerle: Nice enough people but don't bother going there if you have wide feet. They won't have anything for you.
Danny Papes: Extremely helpful staff, high quality products.Revisiting this in June of 2021 to say that I am still using the same model of shoe that I bought here. It has completely changed the sport of running for me, so thank you for getting me set up with the right gear!
Robert Griffith: Was in need of my first good pair of running shoes, and the staff was highly knowledgeable and very kind and helpful! The gentleman working watched my stride/gait and brought out different options that fit my run style. They allowed me to run up and down the block in the shoes I was trying on, trying out different combos of the shoes on my left and right foot. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and I would recommend you go here for any of your running needs.
Mark Vautour: A great running store with an even better running community. Heartbreak hosts a full schedule of weekly runs and regular community events making it a great resource for local runners.
BEN ADAMS: Really helpful staff!
Phil Camp: Great machines, great people, great facilities!! Loved the class too!!
mike olsen: Went in needed a pair of shorts as I under packed for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately they didn't have anything in my size. I don't hold that against them as many running stores don't seem to stock much for larger guys. They did however have a large selection of shoes, clothing and accessories in a decent sized store. Plus there branded stuff looks amazing, I seriously wanted to buy all of their branded gear.Highly recommend unless you are a huskier lad just looking for run clothing.
Laney Strange: Heartbreak is the best! I've always felt totally welcome and never out of place at the studio, even though I'm way slower than everyone else. Running gear is on point too.
Kylynn Fontaine: Woman working the desk was very helpful in guiding me as to what shoe to get and helped with sizing. Good selection of running shoe brands. Cute clothes too.
Carrie Bevis: One of the best running studios in the city that feels authentically Boston, with high energy, professional running coaches
Francesco Siniscalchi: The staff is phenomenal
cranemanlocal4: I was on a 7 mile run and after 4 miles started to lose energy and hydration.I stopped in for a quick break and the staff could see my anguish and handed me some energy gels and some hydration. 20 min later I was able to complete my 7 miles!! Thank you to the staff for the kindness they showed!!! I will be buying my supplies there as long as they are in business
Claudia Willett: Great staff, excellent classes, and helpful amenities
andrea bonney gould: Best running store in Boston! Service is amazing, the product selection is extremely well curated and the owners know running and the community. The run studio is icing on the cake.
Shanni Chen: One of my favorite places to be. Everyone is excellent here.
