Man it was like asking for the gold.Email him in the end of June and the first week of July. As of today no email or call about the decking materials. I didn’t even called again or send another email. Very poor communication with clients.And you want to buy local instead of shopping with the big stores.

We reached out to them because of cracked window. 2 guys came to look at it, charged us $200 as a deposit, we were told we'll get $100 back and a reduced price afterwards. It turned out that the contractor doesn't work for less than $500, so we never saw the $200 again...So disappointing!!!

greg shea: A cooperative home supply store with knowledgeable, patient, professional staff, high quality products, and a Black Lives Matter sign in the window? Say no more. This is the best experience I've ever had shopping for house stuff. And the reuse center next door is a playground for anybody who finds themselves handy. If you're looking for cabinets, countertops, some DIY lumber, lighting, doors or other parts, you should head to this establishment, even if it's a 45 minute drive like it is for us.

I had to chase after him to get calls back, and after waiting for a month, I call and he still can’t even get me pricing or lead times. I called IDI Distribution and had pricing and availability within a day. What a waste of time trying to support a local business, but apparently it’s a local business that doesn’t value smaller local businesses like mine.

Michelle Johnson: Jermaine and his crew are absolutely fantastic! We originally contracted with them to replace our existing living room flooring and replace an old, metal spiral staircase with wood ones that have a closet built out underneath. They did such a great job we ended up having them replace more flooring in the house, update our exterior doors, some interior doors and a few windows, update lighting in several rooms and install Ring security cameras in the front and back of our house. Along the way, Jermaine fixed random broken things in my house and improved our back patio with new lights, plants and a power wash...all without my asking! They had professional cleaners come out after the job was complete to deep clean the entire house. Malcolm Contracting is incredibly reliable, professional and treated my home (and pets) as their own. We will definitely use them for any contracting needs in the future.
Goal Squad: Jermaine did a renovation for me recently and my experience was phenomenal. Not only that but the final product was literally perfect. They re-did our bathroom and kitchen and my experience was great! The owner Jermaine, actually came onsite scoped everything out, got the quote over to me within a day and completed the project on time. (within scope of the original quote) Overall, great experience, I highly recommend them!

Danielle Crusinberry: Contacted them to do some electric work (which would require drywall patching) and hang a brand new tv above our fireplace. The electrician was awesome! He was able to remove the hanging lights and we have have no issues with the electricity or hanging tv.When it came to patching the drywall and painting a different team came. This involved patching two holes on either side of the tv where lights used to be, then sanding and painting it. The reason I gave 3 stars is they did not cover the back of the tv when they sanded. This made it so a lot of dust collected in the back of the tv, including inside of it through the filter holes. Given the electricians unpacked the tv from the box, and then dust got into the tv the next day, it was just a bit disappointing and we do not know if this will have long term effects on the tv.Services:Installation,Drywall repair,TV mounting
