Boston Common Podiatry: Jordana Szpiro, DPM, FACFAS: what do users think?
Elsa Nerea: Perfect for kids and adult! I totally recommend!!!
Yessayana Hartfield: I found this doctor from my insurance company because she is part of the network. I went to the foot doctor because I was experiencing sever foot pain during and after work to the point I could not walk at time. I am a warehouse worker for Amazon and I was working 10 hour shifts and developed some foot ailment. This is my 5 attempt to work with Podiatrist regarding my feet. I hear alot about Health Care Disparities with African Americans. I thought it was a myth. After visiting this Podiatrist office. I realize that as a patient I am not listened to and my cries go unheard. My experiences go like this. Receptionist seemed frustrated and was unwelcoming. My appointment was nearly 2 hours long. The person that came an examined me listened to my concern and then prescribed me to see a PT. I found out she was the owner of the practice. No Proper Introduction. The visit cost me 300.00 She referred me to ARI Physical Therapy Down Town Boston, who called me and referred me to another PT office. She also refused to fill out my employer Physical Statement. Which would assist me in getting paid for my work related absences and for me to get a work accommodation. Forcing me to go back to work under the same condition. The Follow up appointment was cancelled. I was informed the doctor will be out until an unforeseen future. I put in a request for the office to fill out the Physician statement and was scheduled to see another Doctor. I met with Dr. Bolla whom listen to my concern and agreed that she felt what I described that felt like a blister on the inside of my feet which caused me to walk with a limp and barely stand on my feet at times. I could not wear sneakers or shoes. I could only where crocs or Nike Slides. To me it seem like my condition is getting worst. I could not complete a 20 minute exercise routine. I could barely walk after that and I still can't walk long distances and for more than 2 hours. I The condition she diagnosed me with was called Bursitis. She told me to order insoles from Amazon as well as to take Aleve, Motrin or ibuprofen for the inflammation and to ice for 15 minutes. Nov 1, I went back to visit her because after I started researching other Podiatrist on You Tube. I didn't hear the other doctors from You Tube say to treat inflammation like that. So she prescribed a prescription Medrol that I need to take for 6 days to treat the inflammation. Now the doctor told me I have Arthritis in my foot. I don't know what Is wrong with me after meeting with several specialist. My condition is not improving and it's getting worst. I am afraid I may loose my foot after my cries for help is falling on deaf ears and I am paying Hundreds of Dollars to be told take Motrin.
Lara Finks: My entire experience from talking with Christian, the administrative assistant, to meeting Michael, the medical tech, and finally meeting Dr. Jordan's Szpiro was nothing short of amazing!Top notch professionalism and customer care. Dr. Szpiro was attentive, very easy to talk to, compassionate to my concerns, and best of all alleviated the throbbing pain I was experiencing from plantar fasciitis.I have received medical care from world-renowned providers in Boston for 40 years, while many have been great, Dr. Szpiro definitely set the bar for her bedside manner and comprehensive explanation of issues and treatment.I'm very thankful and highly recommend Dr. Szpiro and her staff.
Karen Basile: Dr. Szpiro is incredible. Not only did I get instant relief of my foot pain that I had for 7 months under another Physcians care, but she was so informing and took the time to go over my diagnose . It’s rare to find a doctor with both qualities . In my opinion she is just the best. Her staff was great as well . I would highly recommend her to anyone that is searching for top doctors in Podiatry. Thank you Dr. Szpiro
Amy Cardolino: I had such an amazing experience at your office, i feel i really need to share and quite frankly shout from the rooftops! My wonderful experience started from the moment i called the office and spoke with Briannah she was both super pleasant and so knowledgeable regarding what I was looking for. (💥 Elevens) i learned this that day😂She booked my appointment for a consult with the Amazing magical Miss Patrice!!As soon as i walked in the office for the appt Briannah greeted me, assisted me with the paperwork (i was so nervous) 1st timer! She introduced me to the magician who it turns out is also AMAZING and extremely gracious and kind.We consult she explains everything -she even asks "what would i like"? key words here for Botox... We begin and Briannah even stayed in the room the entire time knowing how scared i was💕💕 They took before/ after pictures and talked me through it all plus some. WOW I CAN NOT EVEN BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW AMAZING I FEEL/LOOK❤And the treatment from both of these women was by far the best ever.. I will be spreading the word.. Thank you so much ladies, I WILL BE BACK XOXOXO No more elevens baby!#womenbeautifyingwomen🙌🙌🙌💋 #lovingmybotoxnoelevens
SKIN OUT: Do NOT make an appointment here! The Staff scheduling appointments (Brianna) is so rude and prejudice! It is 2021 really surprised they treat Black people like this even today. One receptionist literally told me that was not her job and hang up on me when I told her I will be visiting BIMDC because she was being so rude. After I called back to speak to a supervisor and she chuckled! Not surprised! No worries I will take my co-pay and experience some where else. Dr. Sax your receptionist has potentially cost you thousands of dollars sir. And I usually do not write public yelps, but this is too much.
Aquarius XO: Dr Sax is amazing! So personable, quick, and thorough. He made my visit as enjoyable as possible.
Bonnie Berger: Was so excited to find a great podiatrist- Have had problems with my feet and toes for awhile- Tried a few others but none compared to Jordan & her team- she solved my problem with competence and compassion- a winning duo for sure. I highly recommend!
Jane Kim: The office was very clean and I was seen right away without much waiting time. Dr. Sax was great at explaining everything and reassured me regarding my signs and symptoms.
Eleanor Adams: Dr. Szpiro and her team have done a great job in responding to the present health crisis. They provide great service in a safe, welcoming environment.
Herb Noyes: I travel from 3.5 hours away to see Dr.Szapiro.She os one of only two Doctor that are capable of performing my procedure. She is very very competent , friendly and honest. Her staff is the same.I would recommend her to any of my friends or family.
Patricia Wotton: My experience with Dr Spziro has always been fantastic. The staff are helpful and Dr Spziro has truly made a difference in my health. I cannot praise them enough and recommend to all my friends and physicians.
Marlee Waldman: I went in for a visit due to a ankle injury and inner arch sprain and spoke to the doctor for 15 minutes and was billed $400. When i asked them for an outlined detailed explanation of the bill they refused. Terrible experience creating months of headache. Wish I never went
Brian Howard: Dr. Szpiro is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and has set me on the path to recovery from a complex foot injury.
Diane Ricard: Very experienced and friendly and know what they're doing I love them
Chantal Harris: I've had a great experience with Dr. Szpiro's office. From the first phone call making sure that I understand what was needed for a referral, to getting a prompt appointment. I was already a year into my foot pain and saw her for a second opinion. She acted fast on top of my prior treatments and I've seen improvement in a month.
Christine P: Fantastic care by Dr. Szpiro and her staff. My foot surgery and after care were a great success and I am feeling great!
Ben Kudler (Ben): Friendly, attentive staff and excellent care. Easy to find, near Copley.
Boston W: My first visit a number of years ago was with the Chief and she was great. Second visit two years ago was with another Podiatrist who totally misdiagnosed me and prescribed expensive creams for Fungus. Went to MGH Dermatology and was diagnosed correctly with Psoriasis. Third time I left before seeing anyone after sitting in the waiting room where ckerks sit chatting behind a very high counter out of sight of patients. No....I wouldn't return there.
Beth Maloney: I really do like this practice very much. Dr. Szpiro gave me some terrific advice on footwear and I'm forever grateful.
Julia Zagaroli: I’ve had two foot surgeries with her and she is wonderful!

Kenneth M. Leavitt, DPM: what do users think?
Danielle McGilvray: Dr Leavitt is AMAZING!! Hetook wonderful care of my husbands ankle and we are entrusting him with our daughters upcoming bunion surgery in February.
Nancy Jesson: I had bunion, hammer toe and tarsal surgery - my foot it 100% worse after surgery - I know he’s an amazing surgeon but there’s always the one - that would be me - at least I can walk and I’m thankful for that
Corey Galary: He will do what any other doctor can’t. The best around
alice michel: Professional, personable, knowledgeable and competent —-everything you wish for in a DR that fixes your foot🤩
Maryum Zaidi: My PCP sent me to him after an ongoing issue that many providers in my area could not resolve. Thank You so much Dr. Leavitt.
Elizabeth Terzakis: He is an amazing doctor. Very pleased to be a patient of his. He is outstanding. Very compassionate, took the time to explain to me what was wrong with me.
Patricia Feeney: Outstanding!!I went to see him for a second opinion. He took the time to explain my condition and put me at ease.
Dana Lupo: Amazing doctor! He repaired my leg after 4 other doctors said it couldn't be done! I can do everything I used to do now. Just sad it took me so long to find him!
Jesse Petracone: Best doc ever. Crushed my foot and had other specialist tell me that there's nothing else that can be done and after 30 seconds of feeling my foot Dr. Leavitt was 100% confident that he could fix my foot and he did
Thomas Bowles: Dr leavitt salvaged my left foot from a previous unsuccesfull surgery for a shattered talus in 2001 , and stuck with me through several surgeries and several years of tough going.thanks to him i still have my foot .still walking the beach in puerto rico dr leavitt...thank you. thomas bowles
Rick Murray: Dr. Kenneth leavitt fixed both my feet with proper surgery . he corrected all my toes along with my metatarsals that a prior DPM didn't do right. I can't thank Dr. Leavitt enough. I highly recommend him. He could make any bad foot turn into a great foot.
John Hofmann: Dr. Kenneth M. Leavitt is not only an awesome foot surgeon but he's an amazing human being. People drive from out of state to see him because he's worth the trip. He can repair surgeries gone bad elsewhere which is a talent in itself, I have a friend of my mother in Maynard, Mass. that can attest to that. My left foot needed numerous repairs to the bones and my foot is perfect now and pain free even with hardware inside me. I know of two people personally that had horrible pain that other doctors said couldn't be fixed and he did surgery on one and a nerve block on the other( she's from N.H., like me) and gave both of them their life back. He's been my HERO two more times for chronic "mystery" pain unrelated to my foot surgery. My pain was not a mystery to Dr. Leavitt, he knew what needed to be done. He solved my pain with nerve blocks. He works with Dr. Artinian, another awesome doctor, who does the blocks that Dr. Leavitt orders. The first block lasted five years pain free and he just ordered another one and I am healing more every day, so far after a week, 60% of my pain is gone and the medication has another week to work. I was told by other doctors to just take pain medication and do meditation and learn to cope with the pain. Dr. Leavitt saved me again from a life of misery without hope. Dr. Leavitt will, out of the goodness of his heart, do all he can to give you quality living because he truly cares about you as a person. It's not about money with him. He donates his time and talents to the impoverished in Europe and works so hard in his practice here in ways that go above and beyond expectations of his job. It's obviously more than a job to him, it's his mission to stop the pain and at the very least give people hope..............you are truly my hero, Dr. Leavitt.............with love from a devoted patient, Donna Hofmann( I'm also a Registered Nurse since 1971 so I understand more than the average patient.)
Frank Collins: A+ for Dr. Leavitt,After experiencing terrible left heel pain for weeks,he was able to see me on short notice. He told what was wrong and gave me an injection in my heel, then told me the proper work boots I should be wearing along with inserts from the local store.Well, today, one day later,I am doing a 100% better. The pain is gone. His PROFESSIONALISM IS TO NOTCH.The Hospital staff was also very PROFESSIONAL.

Quan Lee: This is the best podiatrist ever!!!!

Locke Christopher DPM: what do users think?
D C: My mother is very happy with her doctor..but I want to complain about the bathroom in the hospital.. Preston building..the bathrooms on the 5th floor and the first floor is disgusting dirty that she wasn't able to use it my mother is handicap wheelchair bound. Please , PLEASE have housekeeping to clean the bathrooms .
Guinea P.: Dr. Elizabeth Sanders is amazing!
David Feldman: Dr. Pham performed toe nail removal surgery on both big toes. Both feet did not hurt badly before the surgery to remove the fungus. The right one has never healed and hurts terribly. No action what so ever to correct it. Comeback in once you get your foot ultrasound in two to three months while your right big toe is in a tremendous amount of pain.
Juliana Leal-Nunez: My experience with Dr. Daniel and her staff at BMC's Foot Care Clinic was excellent. The staff was courteous, friendly, and caring, and Dr. Daniel took her time to understand my issue, explain my options, the pain levels of each solution, and was precise and effective with the work. I was given meticulous instructions and supplies to care for my feet in the 2 weeks that followed. Going back today for a 2-week follow up and I'm very pleased that I was able to take care of a super painful problem in just one visit, with no problems to report afterward. Excellent staff and care!
Organically Naturally Chic: I'm just here to warn patients before they receive a botch surgery. Please review your surgeons as well exhaust all other alternatives prior to getting services from this podiatry. The Dr. I had was awful and didn't care at all please please please check out all alternatives because they WWONN'TTT mention anything else.
James Simmons: Dr. Tseng is both kind and wonderful. Recommend highly

Jeffery R. Coen, DPM: what do users think?
Helen Lynch: Extremely professional and takes a lot of pride in his work. Secretary Carol is so helpful and personable.
pearl roses: Best Doctor! Very kind humble knowledgeable! 💚Rosalind
Deborah Robinson: I was referred to Dr. Jeffrey Coen by my primary care doctor at Beth Israel Healthcare of Boston. Dr. Coen trimmed my nails, shaved down my callouses, and gave me a foot pad to reduce pressure on one of my toes. No more pain in walking. Highly skilled medical professional. In addition, his wife is the office manager, and she makes the form filling easy.
Carlo Scarpa: Very pleased with my experience with Dr. Coen in treatment for an in-grown toenail that infected my big toe. After 30 minutes of treating me, He talked about how the toe became possibly infected and all the medical science behind what causes all the problems with my toe, even recommending to get rid of any cheap leather shoes I have and spend money on good quality shoes that will allow my foot to breathe, thus preventing issues in the future again. In regards to pain medicine, I'm happy he said I didn't need any and I could take aspirin or ibuprofen if I really needed to....that's a good sign in my opinion of a good, caring doctor.

Dr. Yena Do: what do users think?
Mary Hilt: Wonderful person and a good doctor that really listens.
Yana Petri: I came to the doctor for ingrown inflamed nails. After getting help for that, the doctor looked at my feet and said “when you become old and heavy, you will get tendonitis unless you do XYZ.” I am a 25-year old who runs half-marathons and is in good shape, and I found this comment extremely offensive and triggering, considering that I was suffering from anorexia and bulemia in the past. I was like “Old and heavy?” and the doctor didn’t apologize. I went to complain to the reception desk because I didn’t want other patients to hear this and thought that someone could talk to the doctor about this. In return, I heard “Oh, the doctor would never say such a thing, but I will talk to her.” So on top of being offended, I was not believed. For that reason I am writing a Google Review here. I will have a hard time believing the doctor’s diagnosis and advice after this situation.
Lewis Dalven: I consulted Dr. Do some years ago for a sore metatarsal. She recommended a conservative course of treatment, but I wanted results, so I sought another opinion. The other practitioner was more aggressive, but ultimately his treatment was not effective in bringing relief, and may have done more harm than good. I had a new issue recently and went back to Dr. Do for a diagnosis. She informed me I had bone chips and a spur in my great toe joint and this time one of the options was surgery, which I had done several days ago. After my follow up appointment I feel confident I was given excellent care and look forward to a much improved comfort level after healing is completed. It’s been only 4 days and the pain is lessening daily.I will update this review as the process continues…It has now been 6 weeks and I still have more discomfort than I expected, but at 71 maybe healing is a bit slower than the standard for bone recovery.
Kimberly J L Pitts: My experience with this office really wasn’t negative but I have been waiting for over a year to get that promised call about my orthotics that were recommended and needed prior approvalI live within walking distance to the office so it would be convenient for me but I am on the fence regarding their care!I am going to schedule another appointment and update you on my next visit but I’m looking for another office as I type this because my gut instinct is I would be better off moving on.
Joe Mayo: Unfortunately, my treatment at Dr. Do's facility was ineffective, ultimately ending in a recommendation to use OTC methods and a $495 bill.EDIT: I cannot reply to the owner's reply but it's worth noting that the owner's response is incorrect. My bill was paid in full prior to the original post and the total bill was in fact $495. I was responsible for $70.56 after insurance, not $20 as claimed by the owner.
Shan Achhiwala: Can't thank you enough Dr. DoSorry for the late review. Dr. Do is amazing person. She is caring, literally work on my complicated situation.Kudos to Dr. Yena Do. Her staff is fantastic. I can write more & more for her. God bless you Dr.
June Zhao: I had a not good experience with the visit of Dr Do. That was my 1st visit, apparently I had a lot of questions. After only about 10min, she already told me she needed to go because she were later for another 6 patients. Also the front desk sold me a pair of pure stride shoe insert for $50, which only cost $40 in Amazon. And she told me I could get them no where else except in the office because it was prescribed. Never going back
Kevin McNerney: I went to Dr. Do with a broken right foot (4th metatarsal). I'll start with the good:- she found 2 more fractured bones that weren't found by urgent care- she and her staff are friendly- appointments are available and usually pretty quick- the office is clean and good locationDr. Do might be a very good Podiatrist, but unfortunately, my experience with her as a surgeon was bad:- the fractures became much worse right after surgery (much more noticeable on x-ray)- my 4th toe is a couple millimeters shorter than it was prior to the fracture- she predicted a timeline of 4-6 weeks and expected a full recovery. Later, she said that it's actually usually 8-12 weeks. And now it has been over 16 weeks, still not healed.- she claimed that you'd barely even see the scar, but it is a big, obvious scar- I still have pain from the screws and will have to get surgery again to remove them once the bone is done healingOverall, some of this might not be Dr. Do's fault and someone else might have a better experience. But for me, this has ruined a part of my life and now I have to see another doctor.I would recommend choosing a different surgeon.
Robin Nadeau: Dr. Do is professional, knowledgeable, and practical. I've been a couple times over the past few years, initially based on the recommendation of a friend who also sees her. Dr. Do and her staff take the time to explain things and they know what they're doing. If I follow what they say, I am helped and my diagnosis or condition improves. I highly recommend.
Ed T: I was charged $375 for a boot that Dr. Yena Do gave me for a sprained ankle.I found online that boot retails for only $79 on Amazon! That's a 5x markup. It's predatory when a healthcare provider takes advantage of their patients by charging outrageously high prices for medical equipment.I do not recommend seeing Dr. Yena Do. But if you must, DO NOT accept any medical equipment provided by her - you'll be in for a shock when the bill comes. Just buy it online from Amazon.
Adrian Bridglal: Called to get an appointment the receptionist couldn’t even remember my name after saying it three times to her and spelling it out I was asking for my insurance information in which I didn’t have on me and until I got back home and I asked her if I can bring it tomorrow when I come she said not honestly Christine that’s not how treat a new client that’s looking to do business with the company you work for learn to talk to people better on the phone now I have to look for another dr because my experience on the phone was bad
Jim A: Dr. Do is a good doctor and a good podiatrist. I highly recommend her.
Adrian Burgos: Doctor Do is a extremely knowledgeable, kind, without doubt the best podiatrist one can ask for. I would, and have already recommended her to family and friends. Her staff is also incredibly professional and helpful.
Brad stearns: What an incredible experience, beyond my expectation. On a suggestion of a friend (word of mouth is the best recommendation) I made an appointment with Dr. Do to help with chronic ankle pain that also had me tripping with a stiff uncomfortable gait.Figured "Dr" Do was a PhD, that I'd be in and out with a quick solution I'd pick up while there. But contrary to that, Dr. Do was a straight forward MD. I hadn't expected such a thorough exam with xrays for Dr. Do to diagnose that I needed special sole support.Dr. Do is supported by a very capable and direct assistant, Moriah. She performed the xrays and made a real time scan of my feet to create custom made supports. On my second visit Moriah fitted my new inserts and gave me detailed instructions how to break them in, so to speak, with exercises and scaled build up walk time.Well the altered positioning of my ankle accomplished way more than I expected. Not only has the pain gone away, but my posture improved, my gait is more relaxed, I don't stumble anymore. Get this, I am truly more agile on my feet. All of these improvements feel great to this older guy.I know it's a long review, but credit should be given to the efficiency and skills of Dr. Do and Moriah.
Anna Flynt: I have been in for a few appointments so far with Dr. Do and she is most excellent. The office is extremely clean, staff is friendly and professional, and Dr. Do has treated me with care. After months and months of foot pain prior to seeing her, I am finally on the mend. I cannot recommend her enough!
James Mulhern: Staff was very professional and seamed very knowledgeable. The office was very clean and appeared well equipped. Only negative was they said my foot was broken, that's not their fault though.
Clara Smith: Highly recommended! I truly hate going to the podiatrist, but it turns out I was just going to the wrong one. A previously painful procedure was completed by Dr. Do quickly and comfortably (the doctor really does make a difference). She spent the time to explain and walk me through there procedure. Additionally, Dr. Do was both patient and kind.
Kelly Corrigan ac2 (KAC1): Pleasant, knowledgeable, fantastic physician...: )
jamar hopkins: Dr. Do is the best!! Super down to earth, easy to work with and makes you visited painless an quick.
Chico Sajovic: Devoted, compassionate, and skilled surgeon.
