Clay Lounge: what do users think?
Amrita Sneha: Took my team here for a corporate event. Jesse and Kaila were super friendly and gave us all a great learning experience :) Will recommend!
Halley Elwell: I decided to take the beginner workshop to flex my creativity muscles and I loved it! I'll definitely be back.
Taylor Robinson: Super fun and educational class!
Thomas Rienas: This place was so great. I loved it!
John Snedegar: Always have fun at the clay lounge!! Jesse is a true artist and amazing teacher. A perfect combo. It’s uncommon to have both talents, but Jesse excels at both and it makes for a great way to learn how to make your own pottery. Plus gifting items you make is so meaningful to friends and family. Everyone loves my mugs, plates, bowls, and fun sculptures.
Vasavi venkatesh: Loved loved our one time pottery class here. Took my boyfriend for a surprise date here. We both had an amazing time. Our instructors Ben and Kaila were super sweet and patient and such pros! I will definitely take another class again. Bonus: They glaze and paint your finished pieces!
Matthew Butnaru: Without a doubt the best decision I made in a long time was to take a class back in May. I’m so hooked. Jesse and all the other instructors are not only super talented artists, but also really great teachers. Jesse and his crew create a wonderful atmosphere to learn and progress in pottery and make a lot of new friends along the way. The best vibes every class!!!
muhra almuhairi: Amazing place and friendly staff
Daniel Wheeler: I bought three mugs from JG Clay's online store. They shipped across the country within days and added much needed taste to my apartment. Both functional and tasteful. Highly recommend!!
Alex M: So much fun! Had a great experience learning the art of pottery and getting a feel for shaping clay. Will definitely return for more lessons.
Leanne H: Fantastic place for potters of all levels including beginners like me! I signed up for a 12 week package and was able to go from never having used the wheel before to creating and glazing my own pieces. The community that Jesse has created at the Clay Lounge is really inspiring. Everyone is so kind and willing to help. It’s a fun and light atmosphere. Can’t wait to sign up for another class pack!
Victory Unigwe '19: Very accommodating.
R R: Took a private pottery class with my husband and Jesse was an amazing instructor for us first time potters. Jesse is very talented and he was even able salvaged my husband's attempt at a little bowl. (Photo attached) And since we were visiting Boston, he happily glazed our items and shipped them to us!Jesse's items are beautiful and well crafted. We got to see him make some moon vases and regret not buying one. However we did go home with a set of pasta plates and ramen bowls which are now my go to serving ware.Highly recommend a pottery session at J.G. Clay, especially for a great date night idea!
Carina Ramos: Jesse is a great teacher! He explains techniques in a really easy-to-understand ways and has a lot of patience with first-timers. Excited to go back!
Olivia Blain: I did a pottery class with friends at the Clay Lounge and we had the best time! Even as a beginner, I was able to make a vase that I'm proud of thanks to Jesse's instruction. We learned so much about the pottery making process. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat, an all around great time! Jesse's pottery work that he sells in the studio is beautiful, I'll be back to buy pieces for my home and for another class.
Will Richardson: Had a class with Jesse last week that was absolutely wonderful. I was worried because I had never done pottery but he walked us through the entire throwing process and demonstrated different strategies we could use. He also provided in the moment support that saved us from ruining our bowl! The Clay Lounge had a variety of options for clay and glazes available so that we could make the perfect piece. Jesse’s stories from his pottery travels through Asia were also fascinating to hear. Beautiful space, even better experience!

Mudflat Pottery School: what do users think?
Brian Twitchell: Teacher for the evening workshop I went to was knowledgeable and helpful. Facility had everything we needed and the equipment worked well. They made an effort to include time for cleanup so that things stay nice. They have a variety of spaces with people working on different projects. Good lighting.
Emily Zhang: Did the date night workshop! Made 2 pieces, glaze and keep one
Liyi F: Ws lucky enough to book a date night class here. Making pottery is hard but our teacher was there to help every step of the way. I liked that we could make whatever we wanted to try (within reason). It took a few weeks for it to be glazed and fired. I liked that they had different glaze colors to choose from and wish I could've taken a longer class.
Tamara Grasty: Was a visitor. Lovely studio really big, great setup
Lynne Simon-Marden: I love Mudflat. It is a welcoming community of potters, where you can always get help from students and faculty. If you are new to ceramics or are an advanced potter you will love this place.
Nancy Sturgis: Excellent facility and teachers. Highly recommend !
Chelsy Bailly: I had a really nice experience here with a larger group of people. Steve Murphy was one of the instructors and he did a fabulous job teaching us wheelthrowing (for beginners). I had never created pottery this way, and, it was easy to follow instructions and get help from instructors. The instructors are kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They may be worth looking into if you are interesting in pottery activities.
Gordon Tresback: I have been a student here for 9 years. It is the premier facility for the ceramic arts.Staff and facilities here are conducive for personal artistic growth like no other. It's supportive atmoshere is priceless and I'm extremely grateful for all they have provided.Thank you,Mudflat!!
zina saadi: I used to take upper elementary out of school students grades 4 , 5 and 6 once a week there... they get to make fun themed projects from scratch and then paint it and polish it to get fired in the oven and then to keep... great spacious classes and fun teachers
Christine Aiko Beck: I loved taking a class here and plan on taking another soon! Kate is such a wonderful teacher - patient and funny. The school is so nice and spacious, as well as clean and comfortable. It's really a fantastic place to learn pottery.
Kate Gallagher: I highly recommend taking a class here! Everyone is so friendly, and it's great to relax on the weekend or for a bit after work. I've only once had trouble finding a wheel during open studio time
jennifer bucolo: THIS PLACE ROCKS! I wish I could afford to have my own studio there because the building is run out of an old police department so it offers a vintage feel to the structure but leaves the artist with a very modern feeling as the steps and upstairs studios were recently remodeled. The atmosphere is very supportive and I would recommend to anyone interested in the dynamics of clay to start here and see how many helpful and inspiring people you will come in contact with.

Indigo Fire Studio: what do users think?
Kathleen Murphy: Our instructor Joanna (spelling??) was super kind and helpful with demonstrating and answering questions throughout. The wait time to get into a workshop here was less than all the other ones I looked through which I appreciate. It was $85 per person, but I can appreciate that most pottery classes are around that cost because of the clay, kiln, glaze, clay tools, space, etc. Super fun, I'd definitely go back, such a relaxing space too.
Juliana Piazza: This place is the best! All the instructors are awesome. Indigo fire is our favorite date spot!
Brian McGrane: I attended the 2 hour Saturday morning workshop and was reintroduced to creating pottery after not having thrown a pot in many years. Robert did a great job of teaching the class and I created a small bowl as my first project. I look forward to attending more workshops in the future and improving my skills.
Bryanna Tobin: Sunday Morning Workshop - We had an amazing experience celebrating my partner's birthday. The instructor was helpful but not overbearing and it was a great value for being able to keep two pieces at the end of the workshop, which will be glazed, fired, and available for pick up one month after the class time. We will definitely be back! Parking was also very easy.
Wil Hall: Indigo Fire is the best pottery studio in the area of the ones I've tried. They really do have a focus on teaching. Their workshops and private lessons are affordable and their teachers are so welcoming and helpful to all skill levels.I've been to both the Belmont and Watertown locations multiple times. The Belmont location has been around longer and is a bit more mature, smaller, and quaint. The Watertown location is a larger and newer facility but tends to be a bit more booked up.I highly recommend workshops/lessons with Robert in Belmont and Josephine in Watertown - they're both amazing artists and teachers!
Ilyse Robbins: I gave my husband the Early Morning Wheel workshop as a gift and we both loved it. Jessie was excellent. Wished it was longer and might even want a more private lesson. We want to go back for more!
Lindsay Cole: Just an amazing place in every aspect! Went for an early-bird beginner workshop and had so much fun trying a new hobby in such a kind, welcoming and informative environment. Robert was a great instructor and I'm looking forward to taking more classes here in the future!
lsc: Wonderful studio and people. The studio has been a saving grace for me throughout the pandemic. I’ve worked with 3 teachers and over a year of sessions with no plans to stop! All have been great.
Michelle C: I had a fun time at their workshop. I appreciate that they glaze the pieces for us in the one-time classes. There’s a ton of demand, so it can be hard to get in their classes and workshops.
Hassan Chehab: Great experience taking a morning class there! I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was really good at teaching you and letting you learn by doing.
Gavin Whitelaw: Our daughter loved the teens class and brought home some wonderful work. She cannot wait to sign up for another session.
Salvatore Alioto: Sara has been a wonderful teacher for the Saturday morning class. All the staff have been friendly and helpful, its a great little studio!
Erin Doran: Monday night classes with Ned have been the-bomb-dot-com. I have been in that class for over a year now and love the community and studio as much as my family loves getting progressively better pottery for every holiday/birthday/occasion. Always there with infinite pottery wisdom, Ned is a patient teacher both with pottery and my bad jokes. If you are looking for a place to learn pottery and join a community, I would highly recommend trying your darnedest to get a spot in a semester class. You won’t regret it!
mindy carson: I took a Sunday morning class with my husband and daughter and had a fantastic experience. It was a great introduction to pottery making. Zelda was a patient and encouraging teacher and we all got to make two pieces each. I can’t wait to pick them up in their completed state in about a month.
Leslie Gil: This place is awesome! My dad and I took the Sunday morning wheel workshop and it was wonderful. We have very little pottery experience, but we each made two beautiful pieces that will be glazed and fired for us to pick up in a month. Our teacher, Ned, was very knowledgeable and friendly, he provided a lot of hands-on individual support. If I lived closer, I would absolutely take more classes!
Lara Vujovic: Had a great time at a class here. Super friendly instructor and the overall vibe was relaxed and fun. Highly recommend!
lia franco luchianciuc: Such an amazing experience! I had my expectations very high and Indigo went beyond all of them. Can’t wait for next class
Kathy Daniels: Amazing space. I took a class here this past week with a group of four and we had a wonderful instructor (Zelda!) and it was so much fun. I've already signed up for another class and cannot wait!
Elizabeth Hart: Gorgeous pottery studio and great staff. I attended a sip and spin with a few girlfriends and had a great time learning the basics and Cat the instructor was very fun and knowlegable. It was nice to try a new activity and seems like it would be a great place for a date as well. Definitely recommend the sip and spin class for a fun night out!
Monica Young: My husband and I did a pottery class with Robert for my birthday. It was our first time (or first time in a long time) throwing pottery, and we had such a wonderful time! Robert is clearly a master at this but at the same time was so patient with us and helped us with all the newbie mistakes we made. We came away with three pieces each that we will get to pick up in a month, after they go through the trimming/glazing/firing process (several beautiful options available). I highly recommend this class as a birthday gift!
Cynthia Kohn: This is a wonderful pottery studio. I first had a birthday event here a few years back. Myself and my teenage daughter are currently taking a second pottery class with Sarah who has been a great teacher. She is patient and explains throwing and glazing techniques very well. She also does demonstrations which are most helpful. We have both are really enjoying the class.

Rainbows Pottery Studio: what do users think?
Tanner Andrulis: They charged us $300 dollars for wine and charcuterie. Instead of providing wine and charcuterie, the owner just verbally abused my girlfriend.Full story: My girlfriend and I booked tickets for a wine and charcuterie paint night at the studio. The owner cancelled the event without telling us, and we showed up to an empty store. We asked about a refund, which the owner refused, telling us she was not obligated to provide wine and charcuterie for us (despite us paying $300 for precisely that) because it was a slow day for her. Then she started verbally abusing my girlfriend..
carly shumrick: Hosted a work party for 20 here! They were easy to work with and accommodated our large group with ease! Everyone had a blast and the space is super cute!
Sara Habecker: Allie is awesome! The studio is beautiful! We had such a fun afternoon painting pottery. I can’t wait to see what our pieces look like!
marina miller: Me and my boyfriend went here for the first time today and it was the perfect date activity! The studio is beautiful and the atmosphere made the whole experience, Drew was so friendly and fun and makes everyone feel welcome. He played an awesome playlist and was open to song request and took everyone’s photo of them with their pottery, he really went above and beyond. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back!
K CO: My friends and I had an amazing experience today at Rainbow Pottery. Drew was exceptional and had great energy and service. We are excited to see the final pieces! We will 100% be going back!
Catriona Pitcairn: Wonderful local pottery spot. A lovely evening activity to enjoy peacefully painting. A vast array of pottery items to choose from and lots of colors to choose from. I painted a mug, there were bowls, small boxes, decorative chickens and much beyond.
Taylor Zorn: I’m honestly shocked at these trolling reviews that maybe became a trend off of Tik TOk? But I went with my mom and we had such a great time and Allie and Drew are the sweetest. Is it inexpensive? No.. but I am not sure what people expect for a pottery studio in one of the most expensive neighborhoods. I highly recommend coming here. We had great service. Thank you both!
Brian Patterson: Went here with my SO on a rainy afternoon, couldn’t have been more satisfied with the experience. The staff were so kind and friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend - finished pieces came out awesome too!
Margeaux Nanfeldt: My sister and I had the BEST time!!! I wish I could give this place 100 stars because the entire experience was amazing. It's the cutest studio right in the heart of Beacon Hill. Drew was helping us with our colors and giving great suggestions for our pieces. I got a picture of our completed dog bowl and mug when they were ready for pick-up, too. I cannot wait to come back!! If you haven't gone yet, you're missing out on a great Boston activity!
Lewis Mustoe: Upon arriving we were greeted at the door, sat comfortably, and offered complimentary chocolates by Allie. There was a large selection of pieces to choose from and unlimited paint choices at our disposal. They constantly reminded everyone in the shop to take there time and enjoy themselves while painting their chosen pieces. After finishing, Allie took our pieces and offered admittance into a raffle she is running to help support a children’s camp building tree houses. Needless to say, the management here is extremely friendly and passionate about what they do and the causes they give back to.We were shocked to read some of these negative reviews that are clearly fake and without any photos to show people actually visited the store. The entire staff of Rainbow Pottery was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to the customers in the store. If you have the chance to go here on a date, by yourself, or as a group, you will not be disappointed by the lovely staff or the experience as a whole!
Carly Stewart: My friends and I had the BEST time at Rainbows. So much so, that we came back the following week for their Taylor Swift event LOL. Such a fun memory and different thing to do [than going to a bar]. Plus you get to walk away with an awesome hand-painted piece :) even if you aren’t an “artist” you will still have a great time - there’s no pressure or anything. Just good vibes and great people. Allie and Drew are awesome. Call ahead if you want more info or to make sure all of your party can fit. Can’t wait to check out their new location that’s opening soon on Newbury Street!
Sam Smith: An absolute must! Loved the ambience, friendliness of the staff, and overall vibe of this local business. Allie and Drew were so accommodating to me and my boyfriend when we visited on Valentine’s Day. I was so impressed with their professionalism and warmth. Definitely will be returning!
Divya Harpalani: I have never left a google review but pottery painting here was great! The person working there was very busy but still managed to help all customers. He was polite and helpful. My friends and I had a great time, and this is a super fun thing to do in the city! Would absolutely recommend.
Grace Krupa: My husband and I held our daughters 2nd birthday here this weekend. It was 7 of us total. We had the most amazing experience ever. Allison and Drew were absolutely incredible. They provided us with one on one help, helped make Everleigh’s birthday so special and major props to Drew who was amazing with my daughter. Allison was so personal in making sure we got everything we wanted for Everleigh. I would go back here over and over.
Sara D: Delightful! Had a great girls' night with my daughter. Drew was professional and helpful, I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends
Lisa De Patta: Ordered my mug online, and received it in two days! Looks even better than the pictures! Service was amazing, I was contacted by Drew the manager who sent me photos and ensured I received the mug that I wanted. Great service and beautiful product!
Erica Jean Boudreau: My experience at Rainbows is always a delight. Allie and Drew make me I feel like family, I appreciate the hospitality. Definitely coming back with some friends! ❤️
kenny tojchingo: I went to Rainbows Pottery Studio over the weekend with a few of my girlfriends. We had such a great experience painting our own pottery. The studio manager Drew was fantastic and very helpful with leading us the our experience. The space is also beautiful and well put together. I would totally recommend Rainbows Pottery Studio to anyone looking to spend a fun afternoon with family, friends, or a significant other. And i definitely will be coming back again soon. Also Allie the owner is truly amazing. I can see she and Drew put so much love in care into taking care of their guests
Josh White: I brought my entire extended family to Rainbows the day after Thanksgiving. For three hours, we painted pottery, enjoyed quality music, and relished in each other’s company. From little 5 year old cousins to uncles 80 years of age, everyone had a complete blast. There truly could not have been a better activity, and certainly no better place than Rainbows, for us.Allie and Drew’s hospitality, and passion for what they do, is second to none. I already have everyone asking me what time we are going back next year!
Anusha Loganathan: I had an amazing time at the studio! There’s a wide variety of pieces and colors to choose from and the staff are super helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to paint again, the shop had an incredible vibe and it would be great for a date night or as a fun group activity!
trissha mani: One of the best experiences I’ve had in so long!! My friend took me here as a surprise and it was sooo fun. The staff working there are so kind and genuine, and kept the mood of the shop so welcoming and fun. The place is so nicely decorated and relaxing to be in, there’s so much fun art to choose from, and the owner Allie is a sweetheart and so kind to everyone. I can’t wait to go again bring more friends!! I recommend this to anyone who just wants to relax, chill with some art, or is bored and looking for a fun activity. Thank you Rainbow pottery! I also love supporting women-owned small businesses ;)

The Clay School: what do users think?
Alex C.: Special place, great teachers and community.
gary white: I've already taken two classes and I'm signed up for next semester too.I was looking for a place to explore more of the possibilities clay, and I was lucky enough to discover The Clay School; it has to be one of the seacoast's best kept secrets! Everything is designed to work smoothly. From the variety of patient and very knowledgeable instructors, the many options for different class times, to the hassle-free online system for reserving a time to work independently, at almost anytime of day or night. (Where else can you find that opportunity ? ! ... practically nowhere!)The classes include the use of myriad of glazes, and the kilns are almost always running, which means that you can get your bisque-ware or finished pieces back amazingly quickly. They are also very consciencous about dealing with Covid, everyone has to be vaccinated and wear a mask. And everyone works together to keep the facility as clean as a ceramics studio could possibly be.As you can tell I can't say enough good things about this classstudio space. The only downside is how quickly the classes fill up. So if you want to sign up you better do it as soon as possible.
Stephanie Brooks: The Clay School is awesome!! I started here over 3 years ago, brand new to pottery. I signed up for a class and came to love wheel throwing. The studio is so spacious and has everything you need to get creative. Kirsten offers a bunch of classes where I built my skills and learned lots of different, cool techniques. Would highly recommend The Clay School whether you're seasoned or brand new to pottery.
Kim Byer: The Clay School has been such an amazing studio to work in since I moved to the area in July. Kirsten and everyone else that works there are so welcoming and always willing to give their feedback or advice. The studio space itself is great, with many wheels and work spaces to zone out for hours with your hands in clay. I'm so happy to be creating at The Clay School!
Jessica Benedetto: Amazing teachers and ceramic community. You can go in to work on your projects whenever it suits your schedule, which I love. I've been taking classes there for 6 years now.
Stephanie Moriarty: The Clay School has become a home away from home. It’s the most welcoming place to go and be creative, surrounded by fun and encouraging people. I have been going there for over 7 years. Starting as a total beginner and new mom needing an outlet, it provided the supportive community that I needed. I am so grateful to have found The Clay School and love all the friends I have made there. I highly recommend it and tell everyone I know how special this place is.
Alice Drew: This is an excellent studio for learning to work in clay, whether wheel throwing or hand building. I taught here for about 6 years; loved every moment. Excellent, caring and top rate teachers.
Lydia Pinkham Open Studios: This is an awesome studio for pottery lessons for the beginner to the advanced student. Watch for their annual Open Studios the weekend before Thanksgiving each year when all the artists in the building open their doors. The Clay School started the event over a decade ago. Really wonderful place to explore the world of ceramics!
Ron Mooney: We love The Clay School. Excellent teaching staff and it is a super fun place to create for all ages and all levels of experience. Plenty of very creative and friendly people in the studio. 24/7 open studio hours to work on your own, can't be beat!

Clayroom: what do users think?
Karen Stensrude: Doesn’t look like much inside or out but you’ll have an amazing time relaxing and being creative! Really nice, friendly staff. A great assortment of pottery to paint. And free lollipops!!
Pack 50 Milk Street: Lovely experience happening here :)
Ilana Hoffman: We've gone multiple times. Fun for individuals, small or large groups. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Definitely a favorite!
Shannon Evaul: Had so much fun! The staff member who helped us was awesome!
Jessica Liou: Quick, easy, fun, lots of choices/colors, good music & great location! They were able to get our pottery expedited bc we weren't local and couldn't pick up our artwork on the standard timeline. Thank You Clayroom!!! ♡♡♡
Karen Cookie: Fun night with cool people, the staff here rocks!!
Alexandra V: We spent two hours and each made two pieces, very fun atmosphere and nice staff!
Ellen E. Thompson: I always walk out with a smile! We have been coming here for years. It’s fun, low-pressure, friendly way to practice creativity and the owner is a great guy. We visit at least a few times each year and have a blast every time - it can get really busy so be aware of their peak hours if you are sensitive to lots of noise and crowds. Already looking forward to my next visit!
Anisha Mohanty: Great experience
Ben Gorman: Lovely! Very very reasonable prices and a really nice atmosphere. Great date spot! Plus they let us change our reservation time and let us come in a little early. Highly recommend!!!
Luz Miranda: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience there.I went with my 2 kids to do some painting. There was this man (not sure if he is the owner or just work there) on the phone sitting next to some shelves and my son (5 years old) was jumping around him trying to get something from the high shelf. I was in another corner of the room holding my other son (1 year) and couldn’t go and help him to take it. This guy was impolite and spoke to my son in a way that moms really don’t like it. When he finished his call he walked next to us and I told him that it as rude the way he responded him and he said “he should learn how to ask for help”. I was chocked and felt really bad. It took me a few more minutes to get my things and leave the place. When I was ready to pay and leave he came to me and apologized. But I left the place feeling so bad and sorry for my son who just needed a little help to pick up something that he didn’t reach. I just wonder how they can offer summer camp and drop off kids if they have zero patience for little kids. I’m sorry about my big text, I just felt I have to tell my experience. I was looking to a place to spend good time with my kids.
Claire (clairebear): Great place to learn and organize event for the clay pottery. The staff and instructor Addison is very skillful and knowledgeable. We had a great time at the Pottery Throw workshop last Thursday. I’d definitely go back there again!Perfect place for group of friends to get together for a private workshop.
Sarah Thomson: Introductory wheel class was so worth it! Coco is great and my boyfriend and I (complete newbies to wheel throwing) were able to make 3 bowls each. They are fired within the week and you can come back to paint in the studio (no additional cost). They are also byob so you can bring wine or beer with you when you paint. Great atmosphere - love this place!
Milo Goodman: I had an overall terrible experience here. The teacher ruined one of my bowls and had to give me a piece I didn’t make because “he feels bad when he messes up student work”. The cherry on top was coming by tonight for my scheduled appointment to paint them and being called a liar to my face. Apparently they can’t keep their schedule straight and have no respect for people who pay to be there. Complete waste of money and time
Taylor Kwok: The experience at Clayroom was extremely enjoyable. Booking online is very straightforward and simple. The process/instructions upon arriving were very clear and easy to follow and I did not feel rushed at all. When the Clayroom got busy shortly after we sat down, we were led to a separate room with more space which I appreciated a lot. The pottery and color options were great and I really love my piece. Although one of our painted pieces was chipped, it was resolved professionally and generously without me even saying anything. Jay is so kind and also great to talk to. Cannot wait to come back!
Robyn Steinerman: The employees are always amazing and upbeat. Such a fun and relaxing activity for any age! Highly recommend for birthday parties, date night, or just as a mindful activity all on your own
Michael: A nice place where you can socialize and do art. The clayroom provides all the space and glazes you need to make some incredible creations! Your art is usually fired and ready in 5 days.
bri G: Fun
Beth Budner: Even though I was upset about the less experienced female assistant giving me a hard time about me having to show her an extra "firing" photo before the "finished mode" citing lack of "Side-by-side" touchscreen TECH @ the time I was there, hey at least I finally got my Purple Celtics-themed piggy bank from SAT 12/17/22 (i.e. Chevarim Chaim) in a bag after all.Anyway, Happy New Year & hopefully, I can come back again soon.Beth Budner, Auburndale!
Morgan Flynn: Went for a pottery class for my friend's birthday. Our instructor was knowledgeable and fun. When we returned a couple weeks later to paint our pieces, the owner went out of his way to make space for us. There's even a cute personalized video about your steps to get started! This is the kind of business you feel good supporting.
Natalie: I booked a private room for my sisters birthday here. The process was really easy and I spoke with the owner Doug/the manager Jay and they were very helpful answering all my questions. They even called at the beginning of the week to confirm the amount of people! The day of the party things went pretty well. We checked in a few minutes early and started to set up. We were put in a nice room to fit 12 guests.Unfortunately what I thought was going to be a private room for my sister’s birthday party was a communal room. Which was not communicated to me until I unplugged a hair dryer to make space for our food while setting up. When I asked if it could be put out of the room I was told no and that the voltage in the other outlets could not handle the hair dryer. It was really disappointing to be talked down to by one of the workers. Plus, we had other people who were in other parties coming into the room to dry their stuff. It was awkward/weird to have them come in and set off the mood then leave only to come back several minutes later. It wasn’t the intimate gathering we expected. So for future reference if anyone gets put into the room with a kitchenette (seems like a break room for staff as well), you will have people not apart of your private party coming in and out periodically. In the end we did have fun we just had to ignore the people coming in. The clayroom was also accommodating and did let us stay longer than our reserved time which was very kind of them. Overall it was a good experience I just wish it was better communicated ahead of time that the space we had our private party in was actually a communal space.

Jill Rosenwald Studio: what do users think?
Sandy Mones: Thank you Jill for sharing your amazing and beautiful space with me on such short notice...your work is a reflection of the wonderful person you are.
Peter Soorenko: My daughter lives in Australia and bought a gift online for her mom's birthday and had it shipped to us. As my wife's birthday approached, the gift was not here yet and I called Jill Rosenwald studio to check on the status. They were so amazingly helpful and I could not have asked for a better experience. I went the next day (my wife's birthday) to the studio to pick it up. I pulled up right in front and someone from the studio came down and delivered it to my car. And by the way, my wife got a workshop kit and absolutely loves it!
