Su Luo: My biggest fear was for awkward pregnancy photos or photos showing how novice we were as parents, but Brittany had such a talent with getting us to relax and coaching us to feel more natural for the shoot.She is fantastic with newborns, and since we had a twin shoot, it was impressive to see her work. The results were fantastic!Brittany is obviously a master of her craft, and while there may be more affordable photographers, we felt we made a worthwhile investment for this precious time in our babies' lives.

Kari Carpenter Ebert: Working with Brittany for our newborn photos was such an easy experience from start to finish.We were initially unsure about having photos taken in our home, but Brittany reassured us, and before we hired her, even offered to review a video I took of our home to explain exactly where she envisioned taking photos.Brittany also weighed in on our wardrobe choices ahead of time. I bounced a few of my own dress ideas off of her and ended up taking advantage of her photo shoot wardrobe, which included a wide variety of options perfect for new moms.Once we saw the results of the shoot, we were so impressed by the quality of the photography and editing. We ended up purchasing all of the images because we simply couldn’t imagine losing any of them.When it came time to decide on our product purchase, Brittany was able to mock up a few different gallery wall options for us using real pictures from our home so that we could visualize what the prints would look like in our space. She was also willing to tweak the arrangements if we asked to see something slightly different.Brittany was incredibly responsive and professional throughout our time working with her. She was also patient with two indecisive new parents! Newborn photography is certainly an investment, but with Brittany, we learned it is well worth it.

Peggy Yu: We had a wonderful experience with Brittany. She was able to squeeze us in despite the fact that I hadn't planned for newborn photos till AFTER my babe arrived. With all the chaos that comes with the first few weeks, Brittany made life so easy. She has a wardrobe you can choose from and she knows how the clothes photograph - first big plus. Second, our apt was such chaos with all the new baby stuff we were ingesting and we were worried about how it would photograph. She calmed us and said not to worry and found wonderful spots for us to take photos. She brings all the props that are needed. Brittany also has a wonderful storytelling eye - you can see it the way she curates and helps put together the album; she also has an impeccable eye for design - from choosing color of albums, fonts of albums, etc. Very detail oriented and gives spot on recommendations. We've had a wonderful experience with Brittany and look forward to continue having her document our babe and family.

Elena Kazakevich: I absolutely loved getting my newborn photos done by Brittany. I was worried I didn’t have a great outfit to wear and that we didn’t have a good background in our apartment. Brittany brought beautiful dresses for me to choose from and even helped move couches to get the perfect well-lit background.She was so thoughtful and professional. I had been on the fence about doing a formal photo session, not knowing how I’d feel recovering postpartum and adjusting to a new family of three, but I am so glad I did. Sarah Crespi: Kate is amazing! My husband, 16-month old son, and I had a family photo shoot in the Boston Public Garden in June 2019. Not only is Kate an exceptional photographer, she is super organized and has the process laid out so it’s easy if it’s your first time having family photos. I found her session guide incredibly helpful, especially if you’re like me and are clueless regarding outfit coordination and what to do and not do in a photo shoot. I also liked that Kate listed her favorite shoot locations in Boston and that helped in narrowing down our desired location. I also was grateful that Kate went above and beyond in assisting my family with our outfit selection and coordination. I was surprised how quickly Kate answered my emails and the amount of assistance she gave us throughout the process.I don’t know how to pose properly and Kate guided us throughout the entire session. Our session was a combination of both lightly posed and natural candid photos and it was the perfect mix in capturing great photos. I was shocked that I actually felt comfortable during the session and my husband felt the same. Kate did a great job of acting silly and playing with our little one throughout the session. It is clear she loves children and children feel the same about her. My shy boy warmed right up to Kate and she kept him smiling and entertained. Kate is also incredibly skilled in editing the photos to clean up any insecurities you may have (flyaway hair, skin touch-up, etc.). When we received our final photos, I was shocked how beautiful they came out. She captured the playful spirit of our rambunctious toddler and some really sweet moments of the three of us.It is evident that Kate loves what she does and takes great pride in her work. It was clear that her goal was to have us happy with our photos and we were beyond happy with the final product. I highly recommend Kate to capture your family memories!
