Tufts Medical Center: what do users think?
Ryan Anderson: Do not go here. I went for routine sti screening and a second look at a false positive test result (all services that my campus usually provides for free) and even with my insurance the co-pay is almost half a grand. Can't imagine the costs persons here may be burdened with that are actually sick or chronically sick. Service was terrible too and several of the nurse staff doing the weight and height made me uncomfortable and the person that took my insurance (had to give my insurance information 7 times and even then, they still didn't take it and my bill was several thousands of dollars till I flipped out and cancelled all my appointments and told them to take my insurance already, how do they operate as a business, etc.) They finally did and it's a ridiculous co-pay of half a grand for one appointment.
Shannon Kauderer: My friend just got out of a month-long stay here at Tufts including two surgeries as well as many days in the ICU. I believe that their consistent care particularly in the ICU and post operations is the reason she's still alive right now. They were able to correctly and quickly diagnose her and then get the treatments she needed.
Laurie Gatta: Terrible
Leoni Carter: Tufts Orthopedics department is the worst. I had a bad experience with the front desk staff. They were too busy having side conversations then worried about checking in patients. I had to wait for them to finish their conversation to get checked in. I asked for the manager and was told they were on vacation. Crazy!!! They had a nerve to rude about it. Tufts need to hire people that know how to do their job. I will be calling patient relations with my concerns. If Tufts wants to keep their patients they need to train these people better.
Kenny walsh: Extremely unprofessional in the hiring department. They scheduke an interview, tell you how well you interviewed on the phone & then say sorry we don't need you.
Olivia Z: The doctors were very friendly and nice. This operator lady on the mainline tho was extremely rude. Asked her for some info and to redirect, she just kept interrupting, not helpful at all and directed me to some random department I didn't ask for. You literally have one job and can't do it right so sad.
Corbin Dallas: Hires police that violate and assault law abiding citizens filming and exercising their 1st amendment rights. Buckle up for a GIANT lawsuit Tufts. Close down this medical center. Take every penny they have.
Christopher Boardman: Didn't bother telling me I needed a referral for another appointment til three days before said appointment. Then got the run around from their referral department. Get your s*** together.
Iya Bekondo: The worse medical center for Kidney transplant. Very unorganized - hardly any follow -ups. Little to no communication with patients on important things. Very low retention of transplant coordinators; always a new/different person. Terrible experience!!! I would not recommend this facility for a renal transplant. Plus most insurance don't pay for Kidney transplant done there because they are not an Institute of Excellence for Kidney transplantation.
Martina Lowes: Adult Orthopedic department is TRASH. The front desk staff are always on their phones and rude. I called patient relations and of course they did nothing. I also spoke to a manager Mike Ferrante who did nothing because my next appointment same thing happened again. I will definitely be moving my care somewhere else where people are actually treated like human beings.
Joseph P: I want to thank all the staff for their great service and compassion. Doctor Munther K. Homoud needs to be recognized for his professionalism and compassion. I can see why all the staff talks so highly about this doctor. I hope all doctors take notice and follow his leadership.
william mantia: All I can say is that this place has saved my wife's life twice. She is a frail woman with cardiac issues. She has survived ICU twice ( not counting the time she was in surgical ICU after a heart valve transplant ). The only bad thing I can say is that I don't like the parking garage
Peter Aldrich: They refused my wife getting a mammogram. The technician was very ignorant and failed to explain. I praise tufts medical center usually, It took another to technician to explain why between full screening and focal screen…. I appreciate that Other technician for her explanation. She really needs coaching measures to correct her actions. Wasted my whole day…
Pierre Deuj: This one star is not because of physicians but because of how inefficient and poorly run the system and administration is.
Jane Kline: Internal Medicine is not representative of any satellite locations. 2nd year Resident, Dr. Rebecca Scherr. spent little time, twice, and her Supervisor, ESL, determined that your other departments, including Dental, had “notes” that couldn’t be credible. No wireless or internet at all entrances. Rather switch for a 2nd opinion. Unable to ascertain any PRN or pharmaceutical call-ins. Past research on trials, side effects or adverse symptoms.
Jane Spearman: Instead of writing about the MANY issues I’ve had with Tufts, here are the words that come to mind when I think of Tufts. From doctors to PAs to the medical records department.IncompetentUnprofessionalMisdiagnosedLack of accountabilityInsensitiveInexperiencedRudeBilling scamLack of communicationPhone lines not workingOn hold for hoursStaff always running lateCannot book an appointmentNo work ethicChaosStresses out patientsNo desire to help patients..there’s more but I’m getting stressed writing this.Don’t go to Tufts and don’t give them your money. Most don’t know what they’re doing. I may have only met 3 doctors that did. I have so many horror stories about this place but taking a look at the other reviews, I’m not alone.
Miss C: Definitely not first choice or top 100 choice place to go for any medical treatment. If you need decent quality medical care, I highly recommend one of the many respectable medical facilities in the Boston area. Providers there will even tell you they hadn't read your chart after a month of treatment. If you go to Tufts, good chance you will end up disfigured, mistreated, and/or misdiagnosed. Good luck.
Art M: Not a good experience overall. Doctors are more concerned about their protocols, paperwork, transcription etc than patient's health. The primary doctors don't do much except writing referrals. Inflated billing practices.
Sandra Dawson: Orange Line smooth sailing listening to OLD SCHOOL DISCO gonna be a good day
Lisi Zhou: They changed my appointment time but they didn’t let me know. Wasted my time anyway. No one said sorry to me at all.
S Y: Went to the dermatology department three times for eczema, skin infection and wound drain, and finger warts. People here are nice, but the treatment was not as effective as I expected it to be.

One Medical: what do users think?
Lisa Philpotts: I've been to other One Medical locations and they have been great, and I came to this one when I was sick because they had appointment availability. The person at the front desk didn't click the right button to check me in, so I sat in the waiting room until it was 30 minutes past my appointment time and missed my appointment. So, now I am on the train back home (feeling like hot garbage) and will go back to bed, and will have to get seen another time. I understand that people make mistakes and the employee was very apologetic, but there should be procedures in place that ensure that the mistake is caught before the patient's entire appointment duration has passed.
Lisa Dotson: My doctor at this location is great. I’d give her 5 stars. However, I’ve been dealing with billing issues since October and the office now refuses to respond to my messages. To be clear, I am owed money and they refuse to provide a refund or respond to my messages. It’s disgusting.
chanmi: booked an annual check-up here through the app! the app is very easy to use and makes scheduling appointments a breeze. the copley office space is very clean and easy to find. went here and saw dr. lampert, she was really kind and answered all my questions and helped me get the referrals i needed for specialists. however, i wasnt able to get my vitals checked as per my usual annual check-ups.
Tim Skinner: Great in-office experience, not so great customer service overall
A H: Nice space and kind employees, but they are vaccinating their employees with no oversight rather than vaccinating the people who need it.
Kirsten Swenson: Dr. Richardson is absolutely wonderful! I’m so happy I joined this practice after a few years of struggling to find a great PCP in Boston. I was able to book an appt so easily through the app. During my visit all of my questions were thoroughly answered and I was able to get labs done on site. So thorough and efficient. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the phlebotomist, to the provider was so warm, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend OneMedical!
Juliana Cumming: Marilee, Dr. Penwell and the entire staff were very accommodating and very helpful! Will be returning to this location when needed next! Highly recommend!! They even followed up with a hand written and signed card hoping a was feeling better! Amazing staff and service!!

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC): what do users think?
Paula C: Tamara Rozental - hand specialist at BIDMC, is a star! I couldn't be happier with her care and knowledge!
Douglas Frost: Very organized office.
Zabeth Billingham: Genuinely friendly, listened to my concerns without judgement, demonstrated true concern that I get the best possible care to meet my needs. Deeply experienced and confidence inspiring. Got me scheduled for surgery ASAP. I like him!
Heidi Maguire: I have always been very happy with the care I received from Miss Lindsey and Dr. Sammy’s Team
Derek Auckland: The HR department needs serious serious help. I applied for the sterile processing dept countless times and never got a response. They finally got back to me saying that I don’t meet the qualifications lol. I have 10 plus years of experience, I have all my certifications, went to school for this and have people at BI that can vouch that not only am I qualified but I’m over qualified. It just goes to show how absolutely lazy the HR team is here. If they actually bothered to look they would see that I’m more than qualified, but due to their inability to do there jobs I probably won’t ever get in, as goes for anyone else that applies here…
Beth Carey at Keller Williams: Amazing care, staff, surgery, on time appointments, convenient X-rays 2 doors down, parking is always available as well. Absolutely recommend going here 😃😃
Loretta LeVay: Dr Hezel is caring, professional, knowledgeable and does all he can to bring the best treatment to his patients.
Karen Hamilton: Dr. Anderson is amazing at what she does. She takes the time to explain things and made my anxiety about my surgery less traumatic. Her nurses and staff at Beth Israel are so professional and friendly.
Margaret Brown: Dr. Davis is one of the most genuine doctors that I‘ve met in years! Thanks for the time, explanation, and reassurance.
Sean Ellies: Kevin Samaha gives me great advice.I totally put my trust in him.
Antonio Zanon: The best all the stuff very attentive special kudos to doctor TURNER
Pierre d'Hemecourt: Dr Ramappa is excellent with great skills, knowledge and personality
James Johnson: Juliana was extremely helpful and professional! Felt comfortable with her and Dr. Magit immediately. Great team that I highly recommend!
Suely Nascimento: Had a great experience. The provider is lovely
Andrea Candreva: Alex is absolutely AMAZING!! We recommend 100%. She really cares about her patients and is easy to talk too. She puts everything in lamnet terms for you. She knows or has a very strong idea of what is going on with you with just a few symptoms. She comes up with a great care plan for your specific needs. She is just an Amazing NP!
Harry M Carey, Jr.: Very patient with me and staff. Excellent manner and patient concern.
Amy Stevens: Dr. David Magit and his entire team are nothing less than stellar!
Sue Owrutsky: I expected a long awful recovery from my shoulder surgery but it was the exact opposite! Seamless from top to bottom and such compassionate providers!! Highly recommend!!!
Craig Swanson: Dr, Robert G: Davis , is amazing. He has such presence he puts you at ease. He listens and explains answers to all your question. If it were not for him I would not be walking well at all. He caught things in my knee no others did. And for that I am for ever grateful. He is an asset to the Harvard Medical University community. And I send everyone I know with knees problems to him. Truly an Amazing Doctor.Sincerely, Craig W Swanson
Blue Skies Above: Caring, compassionate doctor. He has an incredible team with him in the OR.
Justin Palermo: Dr. Wixted and his staff were great! I just started PT and hope to be skiing again soon.

New England Baptist Hospital: what do users think?
ssegujja denis: Dear Doctor, I have a patient with a broken and paced spine, she can't even seat and bend on her back because of the disconnection on her spine, advise would you give her ? Is there any recommended surgery to fix back her spine for any improvement? DennisFrom Kampala East Africa (+256785875821
Ricardo Cardoso: Very nice hospital specializing in orthopedics. Inpatient admissions are available and the accommodations are very nice, almost luxury clinic feel. Compared to other hospitals, which have crowded wards, shared rooms and not enough staff, NE Baptist is honestly a breath of fresh air. Modern, and new rooms, fantastic and friendly staff and medical professionals who are very happy to serve patient needs. My wife never felt as though they were ever short staffed or that any corners were ever cut. Always plenty of nurses present. Great hospital!
Peter: Best place for orthopedic surgery. It's all they do and they do it well.
Out of business: Super nice staff, always a parking spot (not always easy to find in Boston!), and their scheduling is on point and on time. Hands down recommended.
Cubby Fitts: Had spinal fusion in spring 2021 with Dr. Eric Woodard. Two spinal bones had been fractured during insertion of rods and screws. I was in unbearable pain. Learned that Baptist had new policy to limit pain medication. Given only Valium for first day.During recovery, I immediately noticed that most nurses were angry and inaccessible. I was told confidentiality that their hours had been cut 30%, entire floors shut down, and they were being treated horribly by supervisors. It was a toxic environment.Terrible experience from pre-op to discharge.
Galaxy Maverick: If I could give Dr Lederman 0 stars I would. He was so unprofessional and had zero empathy I've ever encountered with a Dr. He got up and headed for the door while I was still taking to him! The person in the waiting room said boy that was quick! I bet he charged my insurance for a 40 min visit when I was there for about 6 minutes. Never againHe was very rude and arrogant!!
Bob Hannum: Overnight at NEBH for a total hip replacement, my other hip after the first was successfully replaced 3 months ago. Both surgeries by Dr. Talmo were completely successful, no, that’s not doing them justice! I have a life back! Pain in both legs prevented me from exercising and work which I love. Now I can resume both without restriction in just a matter of weeks! But I also have eternal thanks to the support staff from Dr. Talmo’s office (Tara) to all the hospital nurses - kind, expert, and excellent customer care. Even Loraine from room service was my personal cheer leader, encouraging me with her positivity and care and such warmth!I’ve been dealing with this problem with many doctors over many years and finally NEBH took care if it, exceeding all expectations.
Ron Chamberlin: Top notch Ortho Shop for New England and beyond.
Deborah Barabino: They have right by me.
Christine Chupka: Two total knee replacements done by Dr. VanFlandren and his team. The hospital provided the best care. I have my life back again. Incredible compassionate and knowledgeable staff. I would not recommend anyone else. I'm so happy and appreciative of the care from all staff.
Diane Curran: I recently had my left shoulder replaced at The Baptist, and I had the best Nurses ever! I was unable to be discharged because of my pain not under control. My nurse Stacey was jumpingthru hoops trying to minimize the pain I was experiencing. I cannot thank her enough for spendingso much time trying to make me more comfortable with so much pain. My other RN's like Erika,Allie and Tara were so kind and respectful and super helpful in my stay. My PCA's Hanley andNatasha were so nice and professional in everything they did. PT's Corinne and Amanda were sohelpful with information I needed to go home. I learned a few tips from PT that made being homeso much easier.I would also like to mention Dr. Ross, and his kindness and explanation of the surgery to be soinformative when he showed me how he was to replace my joint. He visited me twice in my twonight stay. So nice to have had my Doctor check on me a second time when he found I wasspending another night. I cannot thank everyone enough who had a part in my recent experience. This was my 7th procedure thru the Baptist and I would recommend everyone to check you out.Diane CurranWakefield, MA
Maribeth Gray: Hi I was just a patient. I have been going to the Baptist for several years. This last time I could not believe how dirty the rooms are the bathroom I almost didn’t want to use the restroom the toilet was dirty the sink. Awful. The floors in and out of the bathroom and in my room were dirty. I know you all got bought out I don’t know if that is why the change it used to be very clean.
Paul Kup: I was very dissappinted with this operating threater. It was all about money. They wanted your co pay prepaid before procedure $33 to parkZero communication with patients significant other. I was literally left in the dark for 6 hours.Took 7 phone calls all bounced me back to another department that bounce me back to the original.I personally would never recommend this facility to anyone
Paulette Fullerton: Approximately four years ago I had a total right knee replacement done by Dr. Nairus. Prior to the surgery my knee was turned inside due to the lack of cartilage and whatever else was going on. After the surgery and therapy, in three weeks I felt extremely well, in six weeks, the therapist told me that there was nothing else they could do for me! I was doing exceptionally well. Praise God I am a new woman with a new knee. Thank you Dr. Nairus. Unfortunately, I am diagnosed with RA. Two years ago I had to have a reverse shoulder replacement done by Dr. Jawa. Thank you Dr. Jawa I am no longer in agony my shoulder looks normal and again I am a new woman.
Norman Wilson: hi barb wilson here. my tkr was august 19, 2022. i had an extraordinary doctor and the care given was exemplary.
Henry Chacon: They dont allow children under 12 to come in, thats just absolutely awful.
LS: There should be some sort of VALIDATION for Elderly patients here. I dropped off my Father yesterday and then waited for him in the parking lot...had to pay $20 when he was done. PATHETIC!!!!
Jim C: I went there recently for extreme leg pain, referred there by my Pain Management doctor. I was excited when I finally got there. The Doctor, unnamed, I saw, for about 9 minutes, told me that my leg pain was coming from my hip, not my back and referred me to his Hip doctor.I did not believe him, I have been living with this pain for too long to think it was my hip, although I do have hip issues. So I asked my pain management doctor for another referral. He then sent me to Tufts Medical Center and set me up with Bostons best Neurosurgeon. That doctor told me he found the issue on my spine and gave me a 70% chance that he could fix it.He Fixed my leg pain, something that New England Baptist couldn't do.Tufts found a Bone spur pushing against myleg nerves.Thank you Dr Riesenburger at Tufts! You changed my life!
Karyn Philibotte: Feb 2 2022 was our second experience at New England Baptist Hospital. I’m an Rn in western MA and my husband has multiple issues with his joints and muscles due to a birth injury. This hospital gives impeccable care and safety to each patient. I don’t like the drive to Boston but they are so on top of everything it is the only place to go. My son had open heart surgery in Springfield and I could not convince him to go to Boston. He had terrible nursing care; ICU nurses with 4 fresh open heart patients. He literally almost stroked there when he was given too much epi and his BP was 280 over 210.At Baptist they keep their nurse patient ratios safe and DO NOT deviate from their standards. Kudos to NEBH and Dr James Narius.A heartfelt thank you to you all,Dale & Karyn Philibotte
Wayne Studley: This is my third time , two knees and one hip , I can’t express how wonderful and professional all the staff is there , I would’ nt go anywhere else , I trust them completely , especially Dr. Talmo, spot on !
Donna Gregorio: I want to thank the whole staff on the fifth floor spine area for your great help in taking care of me!!! I just love everyone of you especially MARISA ! I couldn’t have made it without you . Dr. Parazin has great professionals taking care of his patients!Donna

Boston Medical Center: what do users think?
Rick O'Malley: My daughter will be starting her internship here in June, I am more than proud. Great facility!
Cat Banks: My mother is in 7 west such a bad unit the nurse here don't care. If you have family here make sure to visit every day and call status of your loved ones. The nurses hang at nurse station and ignore patients needs. I also worked at this hospital and was treated poorly aswell on this floor when I went to serve patients meals.
Adam Richardson: Horrible customer service. Look at them just sitting there. The nurses do nothing. Worthless hospital. I'd give no money to this place.
Fred Edmondson: One of the best hospitals in the country!!!
dimas villanueva: boston medical center is an embarrasing place for patients to get care the Emergency room is lead by an abnoxious nurse was on shift April 11, 2023 pm hours ..This nurse has no sympathy at all makes patients feel dead rather than sick ..My wife had a very bad case if vomiting and diarrhea was very dehydrated had no strength or energy. This nurse was pushing my wife to walk by herself without assitance without even knowing her medical condition..It's unfortunately to have medical staff like this one working at a very well known hospital in a great city
Alexander Chavarria: La mejor atención y buena calidad humana ❤️
Ivan Szabo: Awful wait times on ER
Muva Teresa: THE WORST HOSPITAL IN THE UNIVERSE! ESPECIALLY THE ENTIRE ICU STAFF! THEY HOLD THE PATIENT HOSTAGE AND MAKE TRANSFERS TO DIFFERENT HOSPITALS DIFFICULT. GET A LAWYER IMMEDIATELY
Lauren Facada: It's no wonder people choose to go through life suffering rather than seek help with the outrageous medical costs we face here in the US.Spoke to an NP at Boston Medical Center last month for one of my children. It was a Telehealth visit for intake, under 60 minutes.1st charge for the physician: $502 (okay, fine)2nd charge "Ancillary Charge": $719Ancillary charge was for the physican prepping the room for her call and using a laptop, according to a Supervisor at Boston Medical Center. I asked them why I wasn't given the option to have the intake appointment in person then, she said the charges would've been the same for the facility fee.Ae you kidding me?! $1,221 to talk to someone for an intake appt via zoom. I am absolutely beside myself. I don't even understand how that's possible. Disgusting.NP was wonderful though!
L L: My mother was admitted at BMC last month. She was in the trauma step down unit 3W. Due to the fact that she is elderly she was mistreated. She did not receive the care that she should have. Stephanie Grogan, the worse doctor in the place, who is a dentist playing doctor let her starve and refused to put a temporary tube to give her nutrition. She became very ill and nearly died. If you are sent there run if they put you in 3W and you are assigned doctor Grogan.
Jeassy Erazo: Emergencia el servicio es terrible deberían de tener otra sala para homeless porque es increíble la atención pesima
Albert Hamilton: I came here for day surgery and everyone was really good. All of the nurses and the doctor were great. The surgery was fine.
Marsi Kokthi: HORRIBLE! The worse hospital that I have ever been, the workers are so irresponsible I don’t know how do they hire them to do absolutely nothing. This place shouldn’t be called hospital so shameful.
B A: Irresponsible worker, I have been going with the same insurance issue for two years. They somehow pulled my insurance and added it to my daughter, and now my daughter's insurance does not cover it. In every bill, I call them, they fix the problem and happen again the same error.
Michael Night: I found my food sitting on top of the dirty laundry ben when I came out the restroom this is a nightmare employees in the hall playing late at night
Ann Scott vidal: They are very unfair in hiring even if you are qualified for the position...grudges are held against that person even if he or she hasn't work for that person....
Perlita Diaz: The doctors here are Amazing, but the staff at the information center and the security’s are HORRIBLE! PLEASE HIRE SOME YOUNGER STAFF at the INFORMATION booth department. I COULDN’T BELIEVE how BAD it was to simply find my dad in this hospital it took a total of 45 MINUTES because the information booth were not competent.
whinehousted33: Either THE worst or one of the worst hospitals in Boston my question is why bother choosing to work in the healthcare field if you don’t or can’t have a decent level of compassion and care for those who are in great need of it ??? Shut this place down smh , like just throw the whole hospital away
Fadolo: ~ Friendly & Respectful

Brigham and Women's Hospital: what do users think?
Mark Smith: I would NEVER recommend this hospital to Anyone Ever. They are the most corrupt hospital . They falsified my medical records to protect one of their surgeons who puncture my colon during a routine procedure. If you decide to go to this hospital, I recommend that you review every medical record after every visit to check for its accuracy.
pujala pavankumar: I'm rating it 5 because of news that a doctor operated unborn baby child.
Emily Hines: They saved my life and were very nice too! Very good hospital (:
Jatnna Medina: Wasn’t a visit rather necessary. The hospital is very much updated & felt very much well attended on this date.
Luc Louis: I love that place.
Chaz Birdie: Have another hole now they refuse to close it up which is the reason. This happened from the previous hole I'm gonna close it up myself
diana rivera: This has been first experience with this hospital and hope it be the last there was negligence with my niece that’s mentally challenge the supervision and attention wasn’t there .
Jim Farley: The doctors, nurses, and staff at BWH are top notch! The level of communication at this hospital (telephone, texts, VM) is archaic!
Alaina King: The best - the doctors, nurses and staff are all professional and extremely helpful. Recent procedure there went great, we are so fortunate to have some of the best medical professionals in the world!
Pearl: Dr Chen and Mei are two of the best health care providers and professionals anywhere. My recent knee replacement from start to finish was well handled & professional. B & K
Timothy Rogers: Other than walking around trying to figure out where I'm supposed to go, it went great!
Blind Owl: I was a patient on for a little over a week. The nursing staff on 8b was fantastic! Special thanks to Mara and Emily. You two saw me through some especially tough times. I loved telling dad jokes, thanks for laughing at them. The food was above and beyond normal hospital food.
Gb O: The info desk people are some of the most inept, rude people I've ever met. I can't imagine what patients go through in the hospital. I was given the wrong directions to get to the vascular lab 3 times by 3 different people. Imagine having an emergency and you get told to go to the wrong place?
tiffany carr: If I could give this place, zero stars, I would I don't even know where to begin first I had to wait two hours to then be sent to sit in a hallway on a stretcher absolutely zero privacy. Then they have a bunch of students practicing on you when you have serious stuff going on then I was there for eight hours and sent home in the same discomfort, actually I walked out feeling worse. They poisoned me with some iodine stuff for a CAT scan, and I felt extremely sick for 48 hours after the hospital visit. I wouldn't trust these people at all and I would not go here ever again and I wouldn't even recommend someone dying to go here. Then they tried to schedule me a follow up to act like they cared you know to pretend and then said that they don't accept my insurance and can't give me a follow up, so they just don't care about you and you're just gonna go there so a bunch of students can practice on you. No one's going to actually treat you were care about you
dagmar tomerlin: There are staff affiliated with an Indian reservation and they are misogynists and will medically abuse you.
Hanah Rahman: Worst experience
Robert Gagliano: Beat cancer got initial referral from Dr marvin Berman south Coast hospital in Fall River ma, and BWH Dr Julia McNabb-baltar and Dr bleday. Who referred me to Dr Jiping Wang, PhD sarcoma expert / surgeon Dana Farber and BWH Dr greame Steele urologist bwh/ surgery. Kept bladder lost sarcoma. Now getting cancer survalence - terrific team
Arturo Gutierrez: Worst hospital ever, nurse are very rude. .i.
Tom C: Had our scheduled pregnancy phone appointment. I was deeply offended they would offer my wife vaccines during pregnancy and continued to defend them after we declined. I would look to other natural birthing centers if u also want to bring healthy natural babies into the world and not be sold like a car salesman.
Joe Burakoff: The staff is here is excellent.
Abby Mills: If you are trying to make an appt. with Dr. Michael Stanchina, you will encounter the rudest front desk secretaries with no concern for patient health. I have called the office multiple times and have either been met with extremely unprofessional help with non-answers, or on this latest call, the woman kept interrupting me and would not listen. I asked for her name and she hung up on me.

Massachusetts General Hospital: what do users think?
Richard Rivera: Worst Hospital Ever Specially the Emergency Dept. Bad service Very Rude Nurses. Doing nothing but texting. My Dad had a Spinal fusion done there last week, & since he’s bin in bad pain, EMTs has taken him there four time for the pain & all they do is leave him in a stretcher all night in the Hallway with Pain and no one to help him get up or walk to the Restroom cause he can’t assist himself due to the surgery. Nurse my Mother asked one of the nurses if my dad could eat & she replied no he’s not in a restaurant. MGH supposed to be number 1..please NEVER!! Something needs to be done about the ER Department & their Staff ATTITUDE WISE. You’re supposed to treat patients Kindly & with Respect!! DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.j
Ronald Couming: Mass General Hospital refused to let me see my father. Changed policy today, from 1 Vistor at a time,, to 1 a day. No notice. Not happy. Diagnosed Stomach cancer 2 days ago, after being here 10 days or so. I was literally 40 feet from his room, 7th floor, and they told me to beat it. With a smile and i am sorry. They could have given me 5 minutes, SMH. PS my sister works here, and has for 25 years.
isloveinme God: The worst hospital my son almost die because of negligence. They work there only for the money. The ER waiting is crazy🙄don't go there please
Tracy Donahue: Deplorable, we waited as the doctor ran an hour and a half late. We were not even notified, we were just expected to wait. I called to try and reschedule, I was told I could not get another appointment for three months. I could not wait in the waiting area with my husband as it was only for patients. This was not due to Covid it was because they were doing construction. My concern was that my husband is diabetic and he could not eat or drink and no one even checked on him as he waited. The girl at the desk told me I had to leave when I went in to check on him, because I could see on my phone his blood sugar was off. Waiting in the hallway all I heard from other staff members is how overbooked and short staffed they were. This was once a world class hospital. I have never been so disappointed as I have been today. People think coming to Boston you get better care. A hospital is only the building, the care is the doctors and people that care for patients. The patient care today has been more than disappointing.
jerry ferullo: My sister had procedure done their and I had to pick her up, the doctor called and said be their in two hours after battling the boston traffic i arrived 15 minutes early and was told to wait at the entrance for 30 minutes and they will call me to come up but after a hour i had the front desk call upstairs and they told her it would be another hour. So i decide to go to the calf for something to eat and waited in line to watch if your a employee of mass general you get to skip the line and order and talk to the people working there so i just said they aren't going to get my money and left bad enough i have to pay more and more for parking.
scotti mac: This place is the worst for scheduling and keeping appointment times. My experience relates to OBGYN services and Ultrasound. My wife and I can’t believe how behind they are always and the wait times. One of our experiences was an ultrasound then then Dr appt hours later.
Marie Doucette: I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I am leaving MGH ER in Boston at 5:35 am after spending over10 hours sitting in the waiting room. There were patients in beds in the halls lined up like sardines. The nurses are drawing blood and putting in IV lines in the crowded halls and waiting rooms. This has to be a health code violation for sure. I was told by the ER doctor that I was being admitted to see a specialist in the morning but hours and hours later, I’m still in the waiting room. I asked to speak to the doctor and 2 hours later a different doctor arrived and said he decided not to admit me and to just wait in the waiting room to see the specialist when he got in, He had no idea why I was even there, he never asked. After being awake for 24 hours, I was not only exhausted, I felt so much worse than when I got there to begin with. That was an absolute waste in so many ways. I will never go back!
Lokranjan Majhi: Great hospital.
Tom Zhao: Gooooooood
John Mckinnon: Outstanding nurses, I don't know how they manage to perform their assignments under such circumstances . Thank you for all you do!!
Djamine Illa Nary: The level of patience that the staff displays is extraordinary. This place is always overcrowded yet the staff takes care of everyone without flinching.
E James: This hospital is not what it used to be, have to wait 4 months for surgery for a burst disk, have now been told that the wait will cause me to never be able to use my legs again. Lol.... Go to Tufts!
James Mill: Have spent several days at MGH supporting a sibling. It has been a tumultuous time, and I witnessed firsthand the extraordinary challenges that the staff faces in the Emergency Department. I want to call out two employees, in particular, Dr. Chait and a nurse named Alan from the ER, who showed tremendous grace under pressure and empathy, which ultimately helped sustain us through a tough time. Thank you, and I hope someone reading this will pass along the kudos to these two individuals.
Matthew St. Germain: Worst patient experience for Lyme Care. Worst Referral process. Worst Patient care in New England. Do not bother to contact them for any Lyme related services, they do not accept referrals. They will not tell you until you have submitted your request 3 or more times without response. The gate keepers will be condescending and tell you it was not received (although you can clearly access your referrals on the portal). Then you will receive a fax back telling you that you've just wasted 3 months of your time trying to get care because they do not accept referrals from "outside". Avoid them for your own personal health.
Gisa Diniz: Oiltimo
Eileen Brown: i came to mass general for serious GI issues from northern new hampshire. i came there as i always heard that mass general was the number one hospital and world class care. i found a doctor whom i thought was really good. so good i thought i waited over four months to see him. the visit was fine i thought. it only got bad when i spoke up for myself concerning my very low and elevated labwork. Dr. Botoman said everything fine, everything mild, normal when i knew it wasnt. when i couldn't get a response over my elevated blood level he sent me a message at 8:30 pm. very angerly. stating and i quote " You need to forget the labs and your focus needs to be on your weight and mental health. when i was there with him he disregarded previous hospitals report. saying " they dont even sound sure and he could even have my condition the previous hospital suspected, and he was more concerned with my throat than my stomach. my endoscope he said was just routine, no cause for concern. i was suppose to wait 5 1/2 months as it was "no big deal". I finally said enough. and mind you this wasnt the only horror experience i had at mass general. i went elsewhere and come to find out, previous hospital was correct. told i had atrophic gastritis and pernicous anemia. look it up if you dont know just how serious they are. Dr. Botoman literally played with a very serious health condition. i guarentee a medical complaint will be in the works from me for this. Dr. Botoman and mass general are the worst excuse for a doctor and hospital i have experienced. this borders on medical neglect. plain and simple.
David Weissman: Terri of MGH downtown in Boston is absolutely wonderful! She is extremely empathetic, Kind, professional, caring with an amazing bed side manner.
James Cali: Good luck getting an appointment. You are lucky if they answer your call.
Marcella Gomes: This is the worst hospital I've ever been to in my life. I waited for more than 5 hours, no doctor attended to me, I felt a lot of pain after having an accident, they left me in a room waiting for hours and the doctor did not come. then they want to charge an expensive amount for this health garbage. worst service, inhuman, lack of respect for people.
Jeff Trott: I was getting worried reading the horrible reviews while my Mom and I were waiting for my Dad to have his lung biopsy. Most of them seem to be about the emergent care, and ours was all scheduled stuff. Our whole day was seamless. Prompt check in at 6:30, imaging department was helpful and called my Mom throughout the day with updates. Every time they gave us was correct down to the minute. Dad’s biopsy went as well as it could have and they made sure he was well before discharge. If anyone is here that wrote the one star reviews, I hope everything got better for you. I felt anxious reading them and can’t imagine having to live through some of those stories.
Gilberto Otero: Only issue is always the parking. Otherwise great hospital with top notch staff . We travel from Western Mass because of it.
