Lyla Puggioni: My son is a student at campus school, we viewed multiple other schools in the area for him. Within the first 10 minutes of the school tour I knew in my mom heart this was the place for him to be learn, grow and develop all while being safely(and lovingly) cared for. I can’t recommend the Campus School enough.
Jennifer Miller: I have been employed at the Campus School at Boston College for almost 2 years. It is an amazing place to work with a warm culture of care and concern for our students and each other. The entire community of students, parents, BC undergraduate volunteers, and staff all work towards a common goal of improving the lives of our exceptional students.

tad helini: Despite the review of negativism the school strives to teach an education to troubled students who just like anyone has their own struggle's in life but they also leave a good impression with the curriculum they offer as far as the individual's are wiling to go. The staff that work their have been doing the job for years and have seen many succeed who walk through the door's with the get up and get it done attitude that might not be possible in a large school setting. I might not be a CEO of a major alternative energy company cause of the life I was given but I am still trying today and seaport and the teachers who try and even are family to the students who walk through the doors some individuals don't even have a family and school is all they have to go to. I watched people struggle their own learning curves and ppl who had their own lives and own problems I was also a student and even today have things that happen in my life I cannot control that may prevent me from achieving a goal. We are all human no one is perfect nor the same

Amy Tarlow-Lewis: Our son is now on a new and much improved trajectory since starting at Dearborn Academy a year ago. Despite great effort on the behalf of our public-school system, our child had needs beyond what the public school could offer. Since starting at Dearborn Academy he is making social, emotional, behavioral and academic progress. He feels better about himself and is making friends. The teachers and staff care deeply about these kids and work extremely hard every day. I have never looked back since we placed him out of district.
Bette Surette: As a parent of 7th grader who is completing his 3rd year, we are very happy with the progress our son has accomplished. Previous to attending Dearborn, our son experienced many school failures and did not feel good about himself. Staff work with children to build them up, help them succeed both academically as well as socially. The therapeutic setting is strong with parents & students being a key member of the educational team. Staff are creative, flexible & cohesive in working through problems.
Georgie Magner: As a parent/guardian of a child with serious social/learning issues, I can attest to the environment at Dearborn Academy. They work with the IEP team from our school district, incorporated neuropsy testing results into his daily curriculum, and work daily on psycho-social-educational issues. He has always been a great kid, but now he wants to learn, he gets along well with others, and is looking towards college.
Pass the Salt: This school has improved a lot since Connor Sheridan became a TA at Dearborn, without him I would have to rate this place 1 star only because 0 isn't an option. On a side note Gerald Butler works here now.
bb dd: I find that the teachers really try to understand the student and meet the students, not only academic but emotional needs. Our son has been there in elementary and now middle and do the benefits.

Peter Georgantas: I can't remember growing up and remembering but one or two of my childhood teachers I liked and was attached to. Our kids still glow and hug each teacher from each grade year when they see them. They love every teacher they have ever had and I have to believe the low student to teacher ratio has a lot to do with it as it allows the kids to get really close to them and a level of attachment that you don't get in other schools.
Will Crumbley: My daughter has only been at Advent for a few months so far (I'll update this review as we go along), but we are convinced we made the right choice for her, and for us. She loves going to school, the teachers are passionate and engaged, and the other families in the community are welcoming, down-to-earth, and have fascinating stories of their own.What made Advent stand out to us vs. the other elite private schools in Boston was its focus on social justice. They do seem to live their creed in their curriculum, and not only through the diversity of backgrounds we see in the classroom -- we were amused/a little teary eyed when our daughter, inspired by Advent, went "trick or treating for UNICEF" around our neighborhood on Halloween.Schools are not just for teaching academics - they have a tremendous effect on the values our children develop. We are so happy that Advent will be helping us provide our daughter with both strong academics and strong values.
Seth Kaufman: One of the greatest amenities available to young families in Boston. Provides the caring and intimate environment we wanted for our little ones in ECC (pre-K) combined with a thematic learning curriculum that really brought out the passionate learner in both my kids. The teachers are incredible and love what they do (there are two in every classroom, plus specialists), and the kids respond to their energy. The school uses its urban setting to make a campus out of the city of Boston, and my kids constantly bring home tales of their great adventures. Love the diverse yet tight knit community - our whole family has made great friends. Every school should be like this.
Grayson Strickler: I am in the fourth grade at Advent and I have been here since ECC. I give Advent 5 stars! I think Advent has a lot of fun activities and I don’t get bored at school. You get a lot of great experiences that I don’t think you get at other schools. Advent makes learning fun.

Love the personal attention that two certified teachers in every classroom provides, plus lots of specials including science, engineering, Spanish, yoga, art, PE. Lorenza Ciani: Our children moved to the school 2 years ago from abroad and since then they have been enjoying any minute of it. They have found great teachers which have helped them to thrive and develop their skills while having fun in a safe a friendly environment. The leadership is also very good and they are constantly trying to find ways to improve the school even more. A very good school over all.

Louisa Matheson: Our children love their school, as do we. The teachers and staff are of an extremely high standard and the class sizes small. The opportunities on offer are fantastic – we love the links with MIT, and the special days and weeks at the school, such as Spirit Week and Heritage Week. All in all a wonderful school.
Paula Tompkins: BISB is an outstanding school with superb teachers. My Son has attended for 4 years and could not be happier. He is now in his 3rd year of high school and is going from strength to strength. I would recommend this school to anyone thinking of joining.
