John Moakley: I'm on the board of a condo building that Premier began managing last year. Our contact there was great and was helping us get back on our feet after a previous poor experience with a management company. However, last fall, she left Premier.Since then, the president of Premier has been "assigned" to our condo unit (until an undisclosed date that we get someone new) and we've had absolutely awful service. They are unresponsive to the vast majority of emails, have had incorrect maintenance done, has paid for unapproved work, and has stopped paying some of our bills! On top of this, it's mid February and they have taken no apparent action, despite our repeated requests, to establish a budget for 2023.Premier is putting our condo association in potential peril through their inaction.
Kevin J: A team of true professionals, the hard work and diligence they have put into my buildings the past few years and is highly appreciated. I have dealt with numerous other property management companies in Boston before finding Premier, and none compared in terms of professionalism, due diligence, and overall results. They maintain my buildings very well and put true effort into making sure my clients & I are happy.Premier has continued to manage my buildings with careful care and diligence.
maryrose hahn: As a college student, my roommates and I were constantly disappointed by the lack of communication and blatant disregard we were treated with by premier property. Problems with the apartment regarding our safety, quality of living space, electricity, heating, cooling were dealt with in untimely manners and often required constant emailing and calling before anything was dealt with. On one particular occasion, our fridge broke and we did not receive a functional fridge for 2.5 weeks leading us to throw away all of our food and have no ability to eat in the apartment. Emails would not be responded to for weeks on end and calling the office proved to be useless as managers continued to be "unavailable". I could not reach my specific property manager a SINGLE time over the phone during our 2-year lease. I was always told that he was "out of office" and the best way to reach him would be emails -- left unread for days on end. College students and young residents should be careful before signing with such incompetent managers who will not prioritize your living conditions.
Terri Bryan: We recently put in a hot tub and had Dan come out to help us with the shoring up to make sure the hot tub was safe to put on the deck. Dan was professional, prompt, efficient, and highly trained to do this type of work. We plan to use him again in the future for other projects 👏👍✅

My apartment has had one major water leak so far, when I called maintenance the issue was handled promptly and efficiently. Building manager is friendly and makes the community feel connected. Would recommend to anyone with either big or small condo associations.

Jessica Chann: PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY RENTING FROM PREMIER PROPERTY! The conditions of the apartment complex and units are unacceptable and the customer service is even worse. Property management does NOT uphold their end of the lease contract and they play hot potato with phone calls and emails, often never even following up on reasonable issues, nevermind in a timely manner. The rare occasion someone DOES answer, they are rude, short, and unhelpful.My ceiling has been leaking for at least 36 hours and I have yet to even get a call back from maintenance. The SAFETY LICENSE for the ELEVATOR has also been expired since July 2020. That is only to name TWO of the several neglected issues we have encountered as tenants. DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME.
Nick Tsou: I never post review until today. This company is an absolute nightmare. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING!!! I mean ANYTHING!!!! No matter what happens to your building or your room, they never response to you or solve your issue. I am only giving one star to post this review or else I wouldn't even leave a star. WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY EVER!
Rebecca O: Lived at one of the Premier properties managed in Fenway from 2018-2020 and I can easily say it has been such a good experience for me. Kevin R. (who was the property manager for my building) was very prompt in replies to both emails/calls when we had any issues or inquiries even after-hours which honestly is rare and impressive for property managers. On top of that, the building itself was very well maintained with cleaners/landscapers coming regularly and also secure. Never witnessed any packages being stolen/mail being opened which again is rare for Fenway. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews as I myself am a picky person and I was happy with the way my building was being managed (perhaps just scornful tenants?).Overall being the first apartment I've ever rented, I can say that now say I have very high expectations for property managers in the future. Cody Normand: Have been working with MerGo for ~10 months and I can't say enough good things about them! It's rare to find a property management group that has a "human" side to it, but MerGo has it! I truly feel like they have my best interest and the tenants best interest in mind. I wanted to find a management company that valued the tenant first -- property owner second -- themselves third in that order, and they have it. They're extremely easy to work with, and I never have to worry about our property being taken care of and the tenants being taken care of. Highly recommend working with them!

Jean Carlos Soares: I've lived in my home in Brookline for over 3 years now.As an Afro Indegenous person living in Boston, where housing is still so unfairly and unjustly segregated and gentrified, I do not recommend mergo services.Recently, the property owners hired mergo to complete management of the property as well as to assist with ongoing renovations on the exterior and interior of the home.Earlier this summer, my partner and I moved from the upstairs to the downstairs unit, to no longer have house mates. We were supposed to move on June 1st, but we had our plans pushed back since the folks brought in from mergo were not clean with the incompleted renovations they kept lagging to get done prior to our move in.We finally were able to move in on July 1st although many of the requested renovations were not done, after they were clearly communicated and specified on the lease agreement.From July 1st until today, August 5th, we have waited for new privacy blinds to be installed, new outlets to be installed to bring this home up to electrical code, renovations in one of the bathrooms to be completed to bring it up to code and replacement of an unsafe combo of a kitchen sink beside two stop tops sitting on top of a mini fridge to be replaced by a regular larger sink cabinet.Yesterday, we were told that someone would be there to complete electrical work starting at 9 AM. No one showed up, and because I had belongings taken from my front porch recently (an electrical sawing machine), the two hours off of work that I took were for nothing.Today 5 strangers (I reasonably asked for names of anyone coming into my home/safe space but never got their names from mergo or the homeowners prior to their arrival) showed up and were asking us about the scope of their work. They also showed up after no one from mergo reached out to inform us about timing of any rescheduling.Team members from mergo have disrespectfully communicated with my partner and I in the past while being incredibly patronizing and unprofessional. I do not recommend that anyone who is seeking to have peace in their home hire these people, whose "management" team is very likely composed of only white people.

Patricia Walton: Luke and Nate updated our 1980's Cape Cod vacation rental home to present a totally up-to-date, in-style fresh appearance and booked our first vacation renter just a couple weeks after the redecorating was complete. In the Winter no less! We now have more bookings in the eight months of this calendar year than we have had in the past four years combined! And it's so hassle free for us, the home is completely cleaned, beds are made with fresh linens, paper goods, etc. are all stocked before each new tenant arrives. I don't need to worry about anything. If you want a well organized, energetic company that knows its market and gets the job done, call Mergo.

Asma Akbar: Our realtor Teddy was super responsive and helpful while me and my roommates were finding a place to live. Immedietely after the tour, we agreed that the place was for us, and helped us through the process, step by step. When we needed to deposit money, he was willing to meet us and pick it up!!! He also responded almost immediately, which helped so much when we had last minute questions. Now, we are super excited to move into our new place in East Boston in September!

That being a difficult time to find available housing, he found three properties that were perfect and when we asked about two other apartments he got us in to see them that day. He was extremely kind, drove us around to see the properties and went over and above what we had expected after working with other realtors!
Kimberly Barry: Boardwalk Properties misrepresented an apartment to us as pet friendly when it was not. When called out on their mistake, they refused to refund us our broker fee because none of our conversations around needing a pet friendly place were in writing (despite speaking to the realtor in person and over the phone regarding needing this requirement multiple times). Many phone calls and messages left that were not returned. Horrible customer service and an unethical company overall. Will NEVER use their services again.

She also consistently had the most up to date information when a LOT of listings were for properties that were actually no longer available, and put in the legwork to look at apartments and building when I couldn't visit myself. I highly recommend her as a rental broker!

Sasha Shenk: Horrific company with scam business practices. I only now feel safe writing this review now that I'm out of the property because they ARE the type to take retributive action against you. Trevor from Boardwalk charged us fake fees and they prey on students who don't know better. Don't give these people a dime. They pressure you to sign a lease, are impossible to get in contact with, and have fake fees. They tried to charge us $1000 to resign our lease. I asked our landlord and she sent me the document via email for free. Truly full of scammers and I never write bad reviews (look at my profile!!) but these people are SCAMMERS and I would recommend everyone to STAY AWAY!!!!

Mike Stuckey: Kent was our primary point of contact and was very impressed with how helpful and proactive he was when any issue arose while we were tenants at one of the properties SBC2 managed. Examples include quickly resolving an HVAC issue ultimately replacing the whole unit, moving large furniture which was delivered to our unit while we were out of town and more. Very professional and responsive.
yy l: I believe this company isn't bad and it's actually better than a few others that I encountered in the past. This one star review is just for one of their employee. She is rude and unorganized. She would not even answer some basic questions about my apartment. It's ok if you don't know the answer to my question but have the decency to say so, ignoring/not responding to your customer's message is not going to make the problem go away.
Colby West: We have been clients for several years. We have been bumped around from person to person. Most recently we have had some pretty serious HR issues. I think this use to be good outfit but they have gone downhill. I would look for someone else. Unprofessional, not responsive, I had to shovel our walks this winter several times because they "forgot" about us.My advice "find another one"
