Cody Normand: Have been working with MerGo for ~10 months and I can't say enough good things about them! It's rare to find a property management group that has a "human" side to it, but MerGo has it! I truly feel like they have my best interest and the tenants best interest in mind. I wanted to find a management company that valued the tenant first -- property owner second -- themselves third in that order, and they have it. They're extremely easy to work with, and I never have to worry about our property being taken care of and the tenants being taken care of. Highly recommend working with them!

Jean Carlos Soares: I've lived in my home in Brookline for over 3 years now.As an Afro Indegenous person living in Boston, where housing is still so unfairly and unjustly segregated and gentrified, I do not recommend mergo services.Recently, the property owners hired mergo to complete management of the property as well as to assist with ongoing renovations on the exterior and interior of the home.Earlier this summer, my partner and I moved from the upstairs to the downstairs unit, to no longer have house mates. We were supposed to move on June 1st, but we had our plans pushed back since the folks brought in from mergo were not clean with the incompleted renovations they kept lagging to get done prior to our move in.We finally were able to move in on July 1st although many of the requested renovations were not done, after they were clearly communicated and specified on the lease agreement.From July 1st until today, August 5th, we have waited for new privacy blinds to be installed, new outlets to be installed to bring this home up to electrical code, renovations in one of the bathrooms to be completed to bring it up to code and replacement of an unsafe combo of a kitchen sink beside two stop tops sitting on top of a mini fridge to be replaced by a regular larger sink cabinet.Yesterday, we were told that someone would be there to complete electrical work starting at 9 AM. No one showed up, and because I had belongings taken from my front porch recently (an electrical sawing machine), the two hours off of work that I took were for nothing.Today 5 strangers (I reasonably asked for names of anyone coming into my home/safe space but never got their names from mergo or the homeowners prior to their arrival) showed up and were asking us about the scope of their work. They also showed up after no one from mergo reached out to inform us about timing of any rescheduling.Team members from mergo have disrespectfully communicated with my partner and I in the past while being incredibly patronizing and unprofessional. I do not recommend that anyone who is seeking to have peace in their home hire these people, whose "management" team is very likely composed of only white people.

Patricia Walton: Luke and Nate updated our 1980's Cape Cod vacation rental home to present a totally up-to-date, in-style fresh appearance and booked our first vacation renter just a couple weeks after the redecorating was complete. In the Winter no less! We now have more bookings in the eight months of this calendar year than we have had in the past four years combined! And it's so hassle free for us, the home is completely cleaned, beds are made with fresh linens, paper goods, etc. are all stocked before each new tenant arrives. LoriAnn Cook: My experience with this company was unfortunate. I found this company to be based on anything but honesty and integrity. They are difficult to reach as they are out of the country and when they are available, the lies are continuous. If you are looking for a company to collect your money you’re fine but know zero about tenant relationships. Should be called GB property mismanagement.

We have been working with Shane and he has been phenomenal. He runs our HOA meetings and always comes prepared with a clear agenda, a well-documented budget, and answers to residents’ questions. When issues are raised in the HOA meeting - building repairs, security problems, etc - he’s always ready to offer solutions, drawing on his knowledge of reliable local businesses and physically coming on site when necessary. Outside of HOA meetings, he’s also quick to respond to emails.GB Property Management has made managing our association much easier and I’d strongly recommend them.

Salah Nabhan: Most recently, one of our building pipes burst during the recent cold snap (Feb 2023) and RPM was quick to reply and navigate our building through the complexities that soon followed. RPM was on site within 30 mins of notification of the issue and stayed around for hours during the mitigation process. They provided each of the impacted owners compassionate and thoughtful guidance on next steps and were available at anytime to address further questions and/or concerns. With their support, we were back onlinewith water and electricity within 24-36 hours (also kudos to the service providers and inspectors). Overall, while an unfortunate circumstance, we are quite pleased with their management and we look forward to a continued partnership with RPM.

Dar Sandler: To give context -- my interaction with RPM was short-lived. The board of trustees decided to move on. With that being said, they felt distant to the day-to-day needs, always nickel and diming for everything and didnt provide any real added value on the big decisions other than minimal coordination of contractors to give us a price.Not too pricey -- so in a way, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for someone to do the "keep the lights on" things for a decent price they are ok, but anything more and you should look elsewhere.

Valarie Turner: Anyone looking for a property management company stay far away from Real Property Management. They take your money and neglect your property. The repairs that they complete, when they do complete repairs are substandard. They charged me fees higher than allowed in my signed contract, and when I complained they terminated my contract without giving me proper notice and told me my contract terminated in 2017 when I didn't sign their new contract which had higher fees. However, they still kept collecting my rents and taking out fees until now. They don't answer their phones and usually only communicate by email. If you are using Real Property Management, I suggest you go check on your property.
Zoe Haemer: I can not say nicer things about my interaction as a tenant with RPM, specifically Veronica and Chris with maintenance. The day after I moved into a new place managed by RPM my cat found her way around the dishwasher and into a hole in the floorboards behind the dishwasher and got stuck. I called and spoke with Veronica who was amazing and got Chris routed to me in less than an hour. Chris spent several hours helping me move the dishwasher and get my cat safely out of the floorboards and covering up the hole that she got through. If I could give 11/5 stars I would. Thank you both so much!

Cynthia Zhao: As a property owner, our family had some really bad experience dealing with RPM. We can overlook the 18% raise in our condo fee since RPM took over, but we're definitely not getting the service we deserve for the cost. We hired contractor who needed to do some work in the common area (shutting down the valve for our unit) in order to fix an issue our unit, there was no assistant provided like our old property management would, which costed us an extra $150 just for the plumber to find the right valve to shut down. Fine. Then they claim that they needed to fix a mistake the plumber made, rejected our offer to have our plumbing company to apply the fix. Instead just hired another plumbing company, and charged us over $400 JUST to turn on a valve for another unit without informing us first. Within this cost, there's a 10% service charge, which makes it very confusing why it took a plumber over 2 hrs to find a valve for a unit if there's a property manager accompanying. Communication is also horrible, when we dispute this charge with RPM, the only response we'd get is basically 'we had nothing to do with this and see you in court if you don't pay'. The property manager was rude on the phone, and just ignored my request for a call back for further discussion. Horrible horrible experience, but I guess its not uncommon based on the reviews hereRe. your comment below, we have responded immediately offering to fix the issue with our own plumbing company. But you've already hired someone before reaching out to us, also this does not explain why it took 2 hrs to turn on a valve with a cost of $400+

I just got off the phone with them trying to schedule maintenance for my apartment. The entire call I was treated with disrespect, right up until I was hung up on.There is no way I'm renewing my lease here, or moving to another apartment managed by this company. I'm just glad I had several months here before they were hired, when I didn't have to deal with them. To property owners, if you want your tenants to be treated with any kind of decency, don't hire this company.

The building has limited hours for delivery and he went above and beyond to make sure and get the package secure when UPS was being difficult, and followed up with me before I could, to let me know that he was able to get the package. I only worked with him for the delivery, I'm not sure what his role is, but this is one employee you should make sure you don't let go.

Kathleen Cohen: We especially commend our building manager John Sp., who consistently exceeds expectations, most recently with a water emergency in our condo and related follow up. Also Lilly, who acted quickly and calmly during the same emergency.
Mingli Chen: Mediate Management Team at 100 Shawmut Ave, Boston, where we live, is one of the best team with strong professional and proactive leadership along with skilled staff to meet our moving-in and everyday needs promptly and efficiently. We have also been impressed with their enthusiasm on making the complex a very friendly, cheerful and happy environment and you could get any help from the team members readily anytime you would need. Most recently we had a burst pipe due to extreme cold - of course on a Sunday afternoon. The Mediate team arrived within 30 minutes, assessed the situation, minimized the damage, initiated cleanup, and called in experts for repairs. Damage was halted and water restored to the rest of the building in less than 2 hours, and full repair was completed the very next morning. All throughout, the communication with all of the building occupants was timely and clear. I am really grateful to have this kind of support for issues big and small!

Our manager John S is so attentive that I often feel like we are the only property he manages, even though I know he manages quite a few others. He answers every call and email within a very short time. We had a disastrous flood in our building. Even though it was his weekend off, he called within minutes of us notifying the office, and was here on site within a couple of hours. He always keeps us informed of details, and works hard to fix costly problems that often arise in newer construction. I could not be happier.

Our trash situation is a disgusting disaster, and has been that way for years. And, when there is snow…you might be able leave the parking lot by 1pm or the next day after you break your back on an unsalted or barely there salted sidewalks.I asked MMC to locate a leak in my unit that would happen when the upstairs shower was used. $1,500 later and 4 holes in walls of 2 different units. They found the source of the leak in THE UPSTAIRS SHOWER. No one would give me updates or give me estimates on the work at hand. My poor tenants waited for months! I had to ask MMC to stop after getting that massive bill! They didn’t repair the shower. They left 4 holes in the walls of 2 units. Overall, I had to spend $2,200+ for “research”. This company is unprofessional, unresponsive, super expensive, and took an incredibly long time to not fix the problem. Where is the zero stars button. I need to reach out to others in my building to get them to leave reviews of their experiences here as well.

Their customer service teams are rude and don’t even bother to say good morning when you call. They literally breathe through the phone until you say something to them first. Completely unacceptable.
