Kurt Alphen: I was looking around for breeders online. Most did not seem to care and just were concerned with the money. More so than the welfare of the rabbits.This company however, had me fill out paperwork. Sign it and send it back. You could tell they actually cared. Some needed basic instructions and information. Very useful actually.After putting down my deposit. They were very easy to reach and had no issue with my many questions. They even worked around my very hectic schedule for the arrangement of the pickup.I have had Harlequin since July. She is a true treasure and companion. Very healthy and happy. It takes time to form a bond, but you could tell she knew she was loved before I got her. I would definitely suggest them to anyone looking for a rabbit.

Chris L-Sawma: My dad and I were there. We were the only ppl of color in there. The old lady showing the cats to the men and women at the store was extremely rude to my south East Asian dad who has a heavy accent. I was just appalled. I usually buy a lot of cool treats here for our farm dog Joe. Didn’t ever come back due to the rude old lady that put such a bad taste in our mouths. He’s the most gentle soul even amongst gentle souls.. We have well enough resources to support a cat lol but I guess two gentle father-son day having, and well to do engineers weren’t convincing enough. Wow. Ridiculous.I’ll just keep posting this.
Zianna weeks: They take great care of the cats and dogs but I'm not particularly impressed with the fish and small animal section. That being said they do a better job than the vast majority of pet stores.

We recently got a rescue dog and while we were trying to get the puppy to socialize, we made our way to Pet World, which turned out to be one of the best decisions ever! The manager and the employees are all so friendly and knowledgeable, They had patiently talked to us, helped address concerns we have and made some great recommendations of snacks that the dog LOVES (she started eating & playing right away, which we have never seen before). This is our favorite spot now! Thank you so much!!
Nghia Nguyen: Pet world is big but their fish section is a little bit small for me. I mainly come to buy fish or fish supplies. Their prices for general fish are pretty good. But the betta fish are a little more expensive than Petco. The staff is friendly. And the location is easy to find.

Allyssa Meunier: Came back again and we got a beautiful ball python to add to our growing family. The owner as always is so kind. We always leave there learning a lot about the different kinds of animals he keeps. This is the best pet store around. Here’s a picture of the day we fell in love with “Ghost”.We also have birds (conures and parakeet/budgies) that we have gotten from him and I had meant to leave a review before that he also offers boarding services! He’s watched our birds while we have been away on vacation twice before and they were well taken care of and given their favorite fruits and vegetables while we were away.

The owner is very well informed, super helpful and does not really try to hard sell anything. I also appreciate the reasonable prices at this store compared to other big stores or even Amazon. Highly recommend it!

The owner is so kind, very helpful and the care he bestows upon his animals is very evident. In the past he has given me food to feed his reptiles, to feed his parrot. Ashley Pitts: I have been visiting this store for a few years have a 35 gallon and a 10 gallon aquariums. The owner is a local from the area and is knowledgeable about fresh water fish, reptiles, rodents and birds. He is helpful with questions over the phone and in person.
Kelly Wilson: I tried to purchase a betta fish here (one that looked like it could use some TLC). I innocently and briefly mentioned to the man behind the counter that it might need some TLC (hoping he would maybe give me advice) and the man got defensive and aggressive--repeating over and over again "I don't sell sick fish" and "Don't buy it then!" I remained silent, apologized, and he only got more aggressive. When I said I'd be okay with purchasing it anyways, he asked me what size tank I'd be using. I had a 10 gallon tank cycled and ready at home with plants. He immediately told me that the fish would be 'scared' of a tank that size and that bettas prefer small 1 gallon bowls.This is just bad advice. Do your research before shopping here. Bettas should be kept in 5 gallons and up. Contrary to what he told me while I was there, wild bettas don't 'live in puddles' as a choice (though they can survive in them). I came into the store hoping to support a local business and seek advice of the owner. He was extremely rude and I walked out in tears.Don't shop here!

Justin Fong: I was recently 'forced' to take care of fish. Without Pet Shop, all my fish would be totally dead. The incredibly nice owner (since the 70s!!!) was there to answer my newbie fish owner questions, and helped with general suggestions on how to scale as things become more settled.I came back a week later for more tips, and again, the owner was again gracious with his time. Though I hope I don't have to visit often to replace fish, I look forward to coming back to learn more from the wonderful owner.(Not that this place is a petting zoo but they definitely get bonus points the super friendly dogs and a cat around that make the place feel very homey.)
Ken Sorensen: This place is horrible. 25% of the fish are dead or dying and the store hasn't been cleaned in years. The cat who lives at the store is bloated and full of internal parasites from drinking directly from the scummy goldfish tanks on the bottom racks. I'd rather support a big box chain store than this place.

Edward Leyva: WHAT A BAD SERVICE, Saturday June 18, 2022, approximately 2:30 pm, I went looking for a pet, after more than 30 minutes of waiting, the man who attended came out, he was cleaning the cages in the back where the pets are located. birds, he came out with a bad attitude, he was a man of about 35 years, with a beard, glasses and bald. I asked him about some pets and he told me that they did NOT have pets for sale??? Like me, there were other customers, some are buying products and food for their pets and he told them something that also made them uncomfortable? They put the products back in their place and left!! Every day I am surprised to see more people with that bad energy and attitude to serve customers, I imagine it was not the owner, for this reason it leaves a disappointment that I will not return to this store.

Esther Paik: I really only like this store because the owner has a cute cat. The store itself is really unsanitary and unclean, all the fish tanks look like they could use a good clean and the store overall is just very crusty. There's a back room with exotic animals, but it's always closed. I once went to this store while the back room was open because the owner was showing the pets there to a customer. I asked if I could go in too and he said no, I had to choose a specific animal from the list and let him know if I wanted to see it. Which was weird considering he basically was showing all of the available animals to that customer. He's also very strict about no photography in the room.The owner himself seems nice, but every time I've visited the store there's some sort of incident. Recently when I went, I noticed the owner's dog was casually drinking the dirty water on top of a bucket near the fish tanks; given the fish net on top of it, I assume it was water from the tanks themselves. I think if the owner is going to bring his pets, he needs to at least improve the supervision of them as he seems to be the only employee at the store. Overall, it's a fairly dirty environment that's a bit suspicious with the whole closed-off back room and the owner's rules.
Crawford Dread: The best kind of pet shop that's rarely seen anymore--owned by a family of animal lovers, you can be sure that this establishment puts the health of their livestock before easy profits. Friendly & informative staff who are a pleasure to chat with every time i go in to stare longingly at the fish.

Mary B: This place abuses animals, full stop. Reported to MSPCA law enforcement, and if you're reading this, PLEASE do the same. Animals here are all near death and held in disgusting conditions. They have a whole room in the back full of exotic birds that seems incredibly suspicious-- you aren't allowed to go back there and all photos and videos are banned. I believe this location to be a front for exotic bird smuggling. The dogs in this shop need to be confiscated by the MSPCA-- their fur is one massive mat and they barely moved when we entered the shop from heat exhaustion. The tanks are filthy and the birds are kept in squalor overloaded in tiny cages. Please please report this place, and take photos and video evidence if you can.

Was planning to buy a nice collar and some treats and toys and make a gift basket but I wouldn’t spend more with that much disrespect. Most of the items are overpriced, by the way. Much cheaper online. Pet stores must be friendly. My free tip for you as a project manager: be friendly and respect your customers. You are just a pet store not Tiffany! Maybe they were mad at me because I was wearing a mask! Horrible behavior! I am surprised a man of that age has never learned basic courtesy. He was also nicer to anyone who looked Irish.

Then I sent them an email and they were quick to respond and answered a few questions.Stopped by to pick up a jumping spider. They had quite a few in stock and encouraged me to take a look to choose. I am new to arachnids and keeping feeder insects and they were incredibly patient with my million nervous questions. They have a walk up insect ordering window with a great selection of live bugs.. its like reptile dairy queen!I wish this place wasnt an hour away. When I get the chance I will definitely be returning!

Were I local, I would get all my feeders here - to help see them to that end!They do have more reptiles than it appears. Most in bins. No one wants to ask to look at that corn snake, though. I know, display cases cost money…

Katie: We’ve been working with the Eric, PetCo’s trainer, for puppy 1 and now puppy 2. He is wonderful and I would recommend those classes to anyone with a puppy—even if you have read training books/watched YouTube videos. He is great at breaking down the various steps for each command to the owner and then giving helpful feedback. (Sometimes you don’t even know that you are subtly doing something to confuse your dog.) He is very experienced and knowledgeable. The other staff are so sweet and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

Andrew Lanneville: We recently completed an Adult 1 class at this location with our dog Bear. Eric is an excellent instructor with many years of experience, and our dog loved him. He is a non-judgmental person, so you can feel comfortable that he is trying to help both the dog and YOU have a better relationship. We learned a lot about commands, redirecting, CONSISTENCY, and interacting with other dogs and people.You really can tell that Eric loves his job and the animals, which made training at PETCO the right choice. You can pay a lot more elsewhere and probably get a lot less. Even the store clerks at this location were great at interacting with animals, and just left us feeling like we made a great choice. Rae Abarbanel: We took the adult one education class for our little dog. The instructor was Eric. We could not be more happy with the classes and the expertise that Eric provides. He is very calm and detail oriented and is always focused on positivity. It was always a treat going to class and we plan on taking as many classes with him as possible.Eric also gives us plenty of time to buy items for our pets And suggestions on what would be helpful for our dogs to enhance the training. Among this all of the staff members have been very nice and helpful.

Noam Yehuda: Came there for the vet for a basic check befor my flight back home to europe. The vet talked to me in a very condescending way and told me I dont have the paperwork to fly home with my dog, when I tryed to explain to her that I do because my dog has an EU passport and we both reside there she shushed me and told me I was wrong and I would have to start a prosses that takes almost a month. She gave me a website to look at and when visiting the site its corrasponeded everything I had told her. Very unprofessional, I ended up going to an emergency vet, paying 200 dollars just to be told that she was wrong and I can fly with my dog.

wang qi: For the entire courses we were asked to stand outside the classroom. We come early to let her get familiar with the environment, Karen still refused let us let us in the classroom even it is nobody here. And told us we should only consider take the lesson outside the room. Even though later my dog was getting well with other dogs, Karen insisted refusing to let us in and the reason is we looked uncomfortable in the classroom. We are reasonable parents, and willing to accept solutions best for every dogs' parents. But this time in Karen's intermedia course at pet smart, we feel being treat different and discriminated. Never come to this Everett dog smart again!

Problemattik: Rapper Review!I gave Petsmart a 4 star review due to one reason... the way Beta fish and Reptiles are housed. The staff in Everett is always A1 which is why it's my home store. They always keep up with the cages. So this is more of a company review. With all the space in the store there should be a better reptile and beta area. The betas sit in a cup until one is lucky enough to be chosen like the aliens in Toy Story. You only need probably 10 small 5 gallon tanks at most for the Beta fish, and the Reptiles could have a bigger cage especially being so small and overpopulated.Service is good,

Fiona Bernier: Mix breeds/“pure breeds” from puppy mills. No good breeder will sell to pet stores.. all dogs are “registered” with clubs that arnt up to AKC standards here in the united states. I can guarantee that they don’t have any health testing done ( eyes, genetic issues, hips, elbows ) just to name a few. I own rare breeds that have everything done from top lines that have cost a lot less then what they are selling them here for.

All the puppies there were sleeping and could tell they were hot! They only have a couple of slots in the back of the glass enclosure. Horrible! I can’t stop thinking of them.

So I figured this wouldn’t be a bad step forward but it was a terrible choice! He barks very loud, he bites, he doesn’t want to stay in the cage if we have to step out real quick, and he’s not to friendly with my other animals.The workers were amazing! Information about dogs in general I guess was great. But the one I got in particular wasn’t a good choice ($3,500) WAS NOT WORTH IT! Guess I’ll stick with the Saugus location.

Houdini: I can confirm that the other reviews are true; the store manager Anne is one of the most condescending, rude, and disrespectful employees I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. Her demeanor reflects negatively on the store, which is unfortunate, because the other employees I interacted with were all incredibly kind and professional. If Anne acts this way towards customers, I can only imagine how she treats those poor dogs. If you’re going to purchase a puppy here, do yourself a favor and do it when Anne is not around. Disgraceful
Steven: It's been a long time since we had a dog in our house, every time my wife goes to the South Shore Mall she always stop's in to Pet Express. And looks at the puppy's. Well a couple of months ago she went in and see's this cocker spaniel pup and she fell in love with her. So you know the saying happy wife happy house. So l ended up getting the puppy, Astra Grace is the most happiest, cuddliest, cutie pie, and does the most funniest things. (She is our 4th cocker). Then we brought her to the vets, everything was good and come to find out she is a very rare cocker spaniel (chocolate merle) which means she has blue eyes like the huskies and the other breads. We are so happy to have this gem of a dog, she has changed our house it's a wonderful happy house now

This is cruel and inhumane treatment of these helpless dogs.Puppies sold from a pet store are puppy mill puppies - that means that even if you think the puppies are happy and healthy they have been sourced from a puppy mill where the breeding mother is bred beyond her healthy limits and kept in terrible conditions.Do not get a dog here, do not get anything here and write to your congress person if you can.
