Isshindo Ramen: what do users think?
Megan Zalenas: If you’re looking for some of the most flavorful, fresh, and delicious ramen, you have to check out Isshindo Ramen! If you’re a ramen fan like me, you know the KEY to a good ramen boils down to the broth and the noodles. Some places the broth is too salty or “greasy”. You don’t have that issue here.I’ve gone to many ramen spots in multiple cities and this place keeps me coming back. Every time I am in Boston I must order from here. Luckily for me, I’ll be spending part of my year in Boston- so I’ll get to enjoy it more often! The broth is super flavorful, savory, and creamy. It is made using a specially treated water and boiled pork bones. This is what gives you that amazing broth and flavor! It’s also loaded with vitamins and nutrients. It is a great option for those looking for an alternative to traditional soup! The noodles used in the ramen are a little different than other Ramen spots- and that is okay! The noodles are more straight than traditional ramen noodles you know. They cook them perfectly so they aren’t mush. The broth is packaged separate for delivery- as to keep everything fresh and hot. The noodles will continue to cook in the boiling hot broth. Some places don’t account for that and the noodles don’t hold up. This place knows the deal and factors that in. I like that.Lastly, the chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth incredible. You get four large, soft, and delicious cuts of pork belly in your ramen. I like to break the big pieces up. They don’t skimp at all on the quality or quantity of the meat. The ramen is also generously served with Woodear mushrooms, scallion, bean sprouts, nori seaweed, and a soy egg.I have ordered delivery from here multiple times and it’s my favorite spot in town for ramen. It’s always delivered piping hot and packaged very well! The broth is packed separate, as to keep the noodles from overcooking in the hot broth. It also prevents a soggy ramen. The packaging is perfect. I’ve never had anything spill or leak. They also include chopsticks and a soup spoon. Order is always accurate. If you love ramen, you’ve got to give Isshindo a try! You won’t be disappointed.Pro Tip: I recommend a ramen for each adult. However, if you want a bit bigger portion you can add extra noodles for a small up charge- that’s what I usually do. But aside from that, portions are generous. I just like extra noodles.I look forward to eventually eating here in person. But for now- delivery has not disappointed me yet! My favorite spot for ramen!

Jaye Aster Broder: Ordered isshindo ramen via GrubHub. It was so delicious. If you order delivery, expect the broth to come separate from the noodles and toppings. There were helpful heating instructions for the broth and noodles. The broth was nice and silky while the noodles were the perfect texture. I liked the mushrooms. The egg was delicious. The portion was satisfying. I’d add this to my list of preferred ramen spots.

Winnie Briggs: Ramen is just so good here. It is fresh and the broth is so flavorful. I got the signature Shio Ramen with a side of egg (Aji Tama) and cha-shu. Food came out quickly. Service was pleasant. There is almost always a line outside…but the restaurant is a tiny hole in the wall and the line goes quickly.Just an fyi- this is not the kind of restaurant to mingle around with friends and exchange pleasantries. It’s more of a chew and screw restaurant! The staff doesn’t pressure you to leave, but you see the line out the door and the quick turnaround with the other customers around you. So you automatically feel as though you should just eat and go! Not a problem for me and my friend…we had a great meal and continued catching up while walking around on Newbury Street.
David Grigorian: If you're a fan of ramen, you need to check out this restaurant! The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture. The toppings are fresh and delicious, and there's a great variety to choose from. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, an excellent dining experience!

Cheymony Fennell: Place is very cozy, intimate, and the food is definitely good! Waitress was attentive & courteous while I was eating. I ordered the curry miso paitan (left) & char Siu mayo don (right)! Portions are perfect!
Kelly C.: Will always be in love with any bowl of noodles, but this bowl has my heart. I got the Spicy Paitan Ramen and it was perfect for a cold night like today. Their spicy oil went perfectly with the scallions, ramen, bean sprouts and nori. I highly recommend you get yourself a bowl of heaven because I swear it warms your soul with every bite ♥️
ConnorsM0M: We both ordered the spicy paitan. The broth had no flavor. The pork was dry.The onigiri ( Japanese rice ball) was not good. The pull pork was dry and no flavor. It's mostly rice and no meat.We did like the side kimchee($5!!!) and the fried chicken bun.
Jeong Min Lim: One of the better ramen shops I have tried outside Japan. Had the shrimp ramen and I was happy with the flavor and the noodle. Will come back to try their other menus
Jocelyn Wolff: Overpriced mediocre ramen.
Adam Banks: Where to begin.....shall we start with the quality of food, or the price? We wish the best for all interested in this establishment, and for that reason we must be forthright. Neither of the above met expectations. Upon looking at the menu, we found that the ramen here was more expensive than almost any other place in the Boston area. We were willing to pay that premium for what we believed would be quality ramen. On the contrary, the ramen turned out to be below average in all honesty. The tonkotsu broth was good, but otherwise the noodles were basically like wet spaghetti, the pork seemed like it had just been microwaved, and the dishes were overall lacking necessary flavor and spice. In short, this was sub-par ramen at best at a jacked up price. Save your time, save your money, save your tastebuds. We advise you try another spot.
Rohini Brahmbhatt: Fast service and good food - veggie ramen made spicy!!
Caprisun Apple: Americanized Japanese ramen. (Details see below)✅Pork: The taste of pork is very good. Mega has shredded pork and 2-3 big pork cube. Appropriate fat and thin ratio.✅Noodle: Appropriate level of chewy and it absorbed enough flavor from the soup. Sadly mega doesn’t have enough noodle. (It focuses more on amount of meat)❌Broth: I feel like it’s trying to go for the tonkotsu thick base, but the flavor is not strong enough. It’s like drinking water + umami. Good tonkotsu base is very thick, strong umami flavor and smell, oily (like drinking a bone marrow soup). If trying the light base (like shoyu), then this is too thick.❌Onion: The onion in ramen was too strong that it covers other flavors. Scallion is normally what ramen use, but onion is pretty rare … if you want to put onion, maybe find those with weaker taste and slice it (rather than dice it)?❌Seasoning (put in middle): Sadly I’m not capable to tell what the seasoning is. But just be careful (if you are reading this). It’s super spicy (it’s the onion/wasabi kind of spicy) and my mouth was dead. Either dissolve it into the soup or take it out, your call.❓Egg: The color was dark so I guess it’s not that fresh. But I didn’t get stomach problem so debatable.$25.68 spent. Not cheap
Sarah Witzig: Wow! Fantastic. I got the veggie ramen which had a delicious mushroom broth, and my partner got the curry ramen, which he said was really good. The spicy sauce we added really was delicious as well. We'll definitely be coming here again! Our waitress and chef were so nice. She was really knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations (sorry I didn't catch her name, she worked on 6/18 night!)
Rogahar Zealus: Absolutely delicious Ramen, even better if you can eat it there instead of as takeout. They have a few options on their dine-in menu which aren't on their takeout menu, so worth checking out.
Wilson Mckay: BROTH OKAY BUT NOODLE WAS TOO HARD NEED TO BE COOKED LITTLE LONGER
Tim Rosborough: Amazingly simple ramen. There half cooked egg is absolutely perfect, and noodles aren't too tough either as I've seen in other ramen places. They are family cheap as well. My only caveat is that they only take cash. Luckily I have BOA and there is an atm across the street. But if you have another bank, come prepared!
amit patel: Has advertised the pork belly is amazing so tender and so juicy in the soup it tastes even better
Lenny Chroek: Always a good time and top notch noodles!! Been to 3 different locations and all consistent with the broth and flavor. Can't wait to go back, I'm hungry af now.
Neetal Shah: Very good place for Ramen.

Tora Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?
dongying jiang: The food is delicious.
Tiffany Zhu: Extremely bad experience. The waitress didn’t fill out the water, no soy sauce even we had seafood don, did not take the empty dish away, even when I give the tip, the waitress hold the machine tight and would not let me hold it??? So ridiculous. Bad food as well, gyu don is definitely something they bought from supermarket
Steven Nguyen: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Guinea P.: The lady doesn’t seem to care. The soy sauce was all over my hand. No complaints about the food.
Eros _1: I believe the quality of the miso soup can determine if a restaurant is good or not, and the miso soup at Tora is rich but a little too salty. I would rather have a rich and salty miso soup over a watery and bland one. I had the Eel Don and it was pretty good no complaints nothing mind-blowing. Overall it’s a pretty good place especially for a quick bite👍🏻
Ido Simyoni: One of the best sushi I’ve tried in Boston . Had the torch salmon roll and spicy tuna crunch. Loved it so much that j can’t wait to get more. I only wish they had the poke bowls all day long and not just for lunch
Coco Jing: Dining experience is poorThe bowls and tableware were taken away after we finished eating, and the waiter urged us to pay the bill. We wanted to sit and chat for a while before we left. upJust because someone is waiting for a seat, it is not so rude to urge customers to leave...
Mandi Tahiraj: My friend and I found this spot on Instagram and our appetite for sashimi is practically insatiable. So of course it was on a must visit list on our trip to Boston. We went there mainly for their uni/ikura (sea urchin/salmon roe) bowl but sadly that was not available on our visit. So we opted for the prawn bowl, a sashimi combo bowl, and the negitoro bowl instead. At first glance, presentation is beautiful. In my opinion, the sashimi fish was ok. It’s good but not as fresh as I would have liked. My husband even said the fish was a little more fishy than sashimi at our usual spot. My favorite was definitely the prawns. They were super sweet and sticky, just the way prawns should be. The negitoro, which is minced fatty tuna, was interesting..It wasn’t as fatty as I would like and had quite a bit of iron taste. I doused quite a bit of soy sauce onto the bowl to help.I would go back to try the uni/ikura bowl if it’s available and get the prawns for sure.
Jose Velasco: Pound for pound king of sushi in Boston10/10
Ricardo Vergara: Great good.
Yu Chun Kuo: Best fish quality ever tasted for under $50A little pricy but worth the valueUpdate:Quality control is not well maintained, for both seafood and non seafood entries. The quality discrepancy is more noticeable on the hot entries. I have ordered the same dish for more than 10 times, and can confidently say that “add more pork/beef” option doesn’t guarantee more protein. One time I even requested the added portion on the side so I can confirm but was told this was not possible, which further supported my claim. My suggestion is that if you’re going to get the hot entries, don’t add more protein. Even so, you’re likely to get a small portion.
Lynn: Fresh food and fast delivery. Would recommend to all!
Vanessa Phillips: Tora is my favorite restaurant in Boston - I bring all my friends here when I have a chance (though there can be a wait if you go at a popular time since they don't take reservations). They have a lot of good food, but at this point I get the buta shogayaki don almost every time, would highly recommend if you're in the mood for something hearty/savory. Service is always nice and quick.
Sophie C: Wow! I ate here for the first time last week and it is now my new fav restaurant in Boston! Everything is incredibly fresh and tasty. I have been searching for a great simple and authentic sushi place for a while and I’ve found it! Soba salad and the sake don are my favorite.
Chen Kevin: Food: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Michael B: My favorite sushi in all of boston. Amazing bang for your buck. I eat a lot of sushi & have tried many places. Compared to nicer spots like Zuma and Douzo, this place still takes the cake for me for a more casual night. Parking is hard and chinatown is chinatown though… but I still highly recommend whether you are dining in or getting take out.
Marie Gong: Recommended dishes Sashimi PlatterMore
lolkzm k: Wasn’t good as before , price significantly increased around $30 for a tuna don ,but quality drop way more than I expected. It used to be raw fresh Fatty tuna , but now it’s toasted because its quality. Portion was also smaller than two years ago. There’s many sushi place around.

A: This spot is one for the books and a vegans dream! I loveee anything spicy and my rule of thumb is, if I’m not crying or having my sinuses cleared, I don’t want it 😅 The flavor and explosion of spices were incredible! I got the Dragon Breath and Mac and Miso and boy oh boy it was the best birthday treat.
shriti jaiswal: Pros: Ramen is amazing. Even for non vegetarian, the flavours will do the wonder. We ordered Tokyo masala and the miso avocado. Tokyo masala was flavourful, creamy, and delicious. Definitely one of the best ramen I have had.Miso avocado was a new and different twist to avocado, surely a must try if you like avocados.Cons: the place is open till 9:30 but if you reach there around 8:45, they don’t do a full service. We were 45 min before the closing time, still they were persistent to not serve us in a bowl but a take out box. I would order in if I wanted to feel like eating in take out box. Service wasn’t great.Vegetarian options: It’s all vegan. Amazing flavours
Moonstone08: I ordered all five of their ramen flavors along with their miso avocado and miso mac and cheese. I loved everything especially the “Miso Avocado”. Miso Avocado wasn’t something you see everyday and it turned out to be a deliciously creamy umami flavor. The ramen was flavorful and I loved how Red White is so generous with their noodles and toppings. The staff members were all so kind and passionate about their craft. One of the BEST VEGAN places, and I will hopefully be back whenever I’m around the area!Vegetarian options: A must!
Taylor Packer: Would give this place a 10/10 if I could! My parents love ramen and I hadn't tried this place yet, so I was a bit worried what they would think. We loved it! Service was fast and I appreciated how limited their menu was as we could make our choices rather quickly. Decently cheap at about $12-$15 a bowl. Will be coming again in the near future!

Wen's Yunnan noodle and Ramen 过桥米线: what do users think?
PA_13 2: I ate here for a birthday party thing and I got to say, it left me feeling like a new person. It filled me up but also left me satisfied. 10/10Vegetarian options: My friend who is Muslim was able to eat here with the vegetarian options.
Dirk Dirk: This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a life changing experience. Scallion pancakes, ramen tonkatsu, even the edamame was amazing. I would recommend this go NOWVegetarian options: The vegetarian miso soup go crazy

Renado Renalo: The noodle quality dropped dramatically since the pandemic, went there once and it was a great experience. However, they reduced the size of every dish and would ask you for ridiculous tips even if their service is near nothing. Not recommend to come here, you have a lot of better choice.

Shine: The first time I visited, I got the Pork Rice Noodle Soup which was decent and the portion was big, but the soup itself was really salty. The second time was disappointing: I got the Fried Chicken Curry Rice which tasted ok but was really oily (I “added spicy” not knowing it was just going to be a lot of chili oil added on the side) and the Fried Salted Chicken which wasn’t that good and the portion was really small compared to the price point.
Zyblr Hu: Food: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5More
Joshua Fagan: There are few better ways to nourish the spirit on a cold and that's like March afternoon in Boston then by indulging in some delicious noodle soup. I ordered the seafood adore the mixing of all the flavors and scents, with the shrimp and the crab and the delicious, moist noodles. The side dishes are also sumptuous treats, and I highly recommend one that contrast the bed with what you are ordering. For example, I ordered soup and some crusty, crispy crab rangoon on the side. The food as warm and hearty, and there is very little to complain about.
马丁: Recommended dishes Beef NoodleMore
Alessio Cattaneo Spencer: A good ramen shop with wonderful service. The service is always wonderfully kind, convenient, and most of all - quick. You order the food and it’s there within the minute more often than not, and has the full quality taste you’d want.I’m particularly partial to the rice noodles, but it helps that I’m biased towards thicker noodle bases. The bowls tend to be large so more often than not appetizers end up being a bit much without a large group. The people are kind and will quickly rush to you with new chopsticks if you drop them before you can even finish picking them up.All in all a good place - I go about once a month.
Nina Dorson: Shoyu ramen - good but broth not too flavorful. You had to take your own order on your phone!

Shrijay Kudale: It’s a popular place for Ramen in Boston. However I didn’t find anything special in vegetarian ramen. The curry wasn’t warm enough. My friend took beef ramen and according to him it was good for one time try. Whatsoever, the prices are pretty affordable.
Pavithra Rajagopalan: We love coming to Wen’s! The fast, efficient service, the quantity and quality of food are all excellent. The tofu curry ramen and veg miso ramen are our usual favorites! If you are walking by Boston Commons or down Newbury st and crave some quality Ramen, Wen’s is the perfect stop for it!
Sareena Chao: the food was pretty good but they charged me extra tip despite my table already tipping
Jake Toomey: God I love Ramen. Good place. Quick eats and the ramen slaps 🔥
Samantha Wu-Topolski: The first time we came here was years ago, we ordered some kind of noodle soup, we don't really care for it, years later, we came back again. I ordered curry chicken rice, dumplings and scallion pancakes. It was pretty good. I enjoyed it so much!! The fried with curry is so good! The chicken is perfectly fried. Will definitely come back again! Hopefully their noodle soup has been improved.

rakesh dhawan: Tried the cauliflower appetizer, taste was good (4/5). My friend ordered the ramen which was average (3/5), they do not have a veggie or vegan ramen option. I ordered the mushroom wontons which were good but not not filling enough so had to club that with a bowl of noodles. Both combined, it was a decent portion size. Try the hot sauce (very spicy)
Lucinda Barrett: 10/10 experience! best staff! best food! best drinks! 100% reccommend!! My server was Luci, we bonded over having the same name, exceptional server too! 🤩
Gresia Melgar: 5/5 It was a great experience best place for anyone visiting the Fenway Area.
Jin Li: Poor service and extremely subpar food for what they’re charging. We received foul and slimy sushi after waiting for 30 mins to receive service. My friend and I came for an early dinner right as the restaurant just opened so it’s really confusing that we had to wait so long for our server to acknowledge us. It was interesting to note that we saw that another patron who was seated after us received service within 5-10mins of sitting down (not sure if race plays a role as my friend and I were both Asian, but the other patron was Caucasian. Is this that infamous privileged treatment that I hear about but seldom experience?) either way, this is an overhyped establishment that isn’t worth its ratings for the low quality of Asian fusion food that they’re serving. The kimchi fried rice was incredibly disappointing and the ramen tasted as if they used an instant package that you can buy from a local Asian frozen section.
mollica kim: I'm disappointed because the reviews are great. I think I should of taken it as a sign when the server first off never introduced themselves and took over 20mins to ask us what to drink. Maybe we didnt look approachable? We ordered the spicy salmon, Brussel sprouts, chicken Ramen, and kimchi fried rice. Everything was mediocre besides the Brussel sprouts.
Brian O'Reilly: Great decor and vibe, excellent food, good presentation. I got a spicy salmon sushi roll and the veggie wontons. The service staff were courteous and helpful, and I didn't have to wait long for my dinner. My only wish is for more food: the portion sizes, other than the sushi rolls, are not as large as I'd like.Vegetarian options: The veggie wontons were excellent - but more like an appetizer-sized portion, not quite enough to be a main course.
Natalia Genie: I love this place! The vibes here are always top notch, the drinks are delicious and their burger is simply fantastic. There is something here for everyone
Sree Sreenivasan: OMG! This is now officially one of my fave restaurants. Ordered so many items off the menu and everything was terrific. And I mean everything. I was with two carnivores and would not have ordered anything vegetarian, but the waiter recommended a dish that I think is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Seriously: Shiitake Mushroom Tempura Roll (truffle salsa, miso, fried garlic, truffle froth). Wow. I want to go back right now. I’m going back and will try to stay at the Verb Hotel that it’s part of. #25MemorableMeals
A7EX -l: Never given a 1 star before but the food here is just too bad. Walked in on a Wednesday night and there was like 5 or 6 people eating in a huge restaurant. Should have walked out immediately. Food was terrible. Ordered a roll and it looks like it was brought from Whole food and sat in the fridge for 4 days. Beef and yakisoba were terribly sour. Potion is super small but the price make you feel like you’re in a fancy restaurant except it isn’t. Avoid.
Conner Jarrell: Cool place to grab a bite to eat if you're staying at the verb hotel. Sushi was good, burger was okay. Granted, I'm sure that isn't their best seller, haha.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Seth Schorr: The food was good, but they were understaffed.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Shannon Lepore: This place has a great idea but failed to execute on every level. I ordered soba noodles and what I got was an over-salted stir fry with egg noodles. We had to get up twice to find our server and again to go fetch our drinks. I’m not sure what was going on but the the service barely existed. Won’t be going back unless that change the menu or get new management.
Samantha: Cool vibe & delicious food, i think the veggie wontons & chicken katsu were the best!
Michelle Lee: Andy, Lisa, and Olivia were so great! Honestly, they recommended the most amazing drinks and I got the 678 while my date liked the Hawaiian Punch sash a ton! Their truffle foam sushi and Wassabi roulette are incredibly unique. The vibes are immaculate. This place is always busy but today they had chocolate strawberries for Valentine’s Day! The workers are a great team and they are constantly running around so that we don’t wait too long for water or soy sauce. Come! 12/10 recommend!!

Ebisuya Japanese Noodle House: what do users think?
Sandy Luong: If you want a full dining restaurant then this is not for you, but that means you’ll miss out on one of the best ramens in Malden. This place is more of a ramen bar, a quick bite of food in and out such as those self serve ramen places in Japan.Everything on the menu is delicious, my favorite is their shoyu. They have a small menu but that’s how you know they’re specialized in making ramen. Hidden gem, a must try. Free parking on streets and parking lot across.Parking: Plenty of locations
SHUYI HE: Yuzu Ramen is a special ramen to try, and it is good!
Karen I: Genuine Japanese quality noodles!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Christopher Jackson: Recommended dishes Spicy Miso Ramen with PorkMore
Lani Wong: Small but mighty eatery. Family-owned and operated. The chef is so happy to prepare the dishes and smiles all the time. The ramen includes a good portion of toppings and the broth is amazing! There's only about a dozen seats in the place, so go off-hours. Make sure to order at the kiosk before sitting. Parking is hit or miss. Worth walking for!Parking: You might get lucky to find a spot out front, otherwise it could be a few blocks away.
Paw Pol Bos: We tried miso and 2 other soups. Miso is the winner for me!
Shan Shi: Don’t miss out on the vegetarian ramen! Amazing place
Michael Luu: Great small little noodle shop. I enjoy the quick service. Not much seating. Expect to go in and out like a traditional small ramen shop.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes …More

Bonnie Chen: If you are a craving for a hearty bowl of ramen that comforts your soul, this is the place to go! I did not have that many expectations, but I was excited to try this spot, especially since it was down the street of where I live. Upon arrival, the place was not crowded, but that is because it is a come-and-go type of ramen shop. Customers are either dining in quickly or ordering take out. We ordered at the counter and the ramen came shortly after. I ordered the miso ramen (my go-to) and my friend ordered the shoyu ramen. The menu is not extensive - it is simple and gets straight to the point. They charge extra for egg and more charsiu. I don't eat egg with my ramen, but after eating their charsiu, I will consider ordering extra. The bowl of miso ramen comes with diced onions, scallions, bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts as garnishes and three big slices of charsiu. The broth itself was SO rich in flavor, but not in an overwhelming way. The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly and the charsiu was so juicy and flavorful. Nothing overwhelmed each other and I honestly thought the portion was great for $12. I will be back (probably more often than I should). There is limited street parking, but there is also a public parking garage across the street where they charge $3 an hour (cash only), which is plenty of time unless this shop is crowded. This shop is cash only.
Andy Cardinale: When a place only serves five dishes, you know they've mastered those dishes. Everything on the menu is excellent, especially the shoyu ramen. Most tender pork I've had in quite a long time. Worth the trip on those cold days to let some piping hot soup warm your bones.Update 12/22: this place is still amazing.

One Ramen And Sushi: what do users think?
The Ugly Pirate: Excellent ramen and sushiFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Grace Gong: Of all the ramen places in Boston, my family and most friends agree that this is one of the best (if not the best!). The ramen is inexpensive, and comes with egg, and many other ramen toppings for free unlike most other Ramen restaurants. They also serve great sushi here. You really can't go wrong. Only thing to note is that parking is sometimes hard to find.
Ivan F Magalhaes: I'm an app driver, this restaurant does not respect customers who buy through apps, they make food for customers inside the restaurant, and leave us waiting for more than an hour to give us ours. Then we delay customer deliveries because of the restaurant.
Matt: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More

Salvador Gomez: A hidden jewel of Ramen and sushi in Boston, just a small place, but an outstandingly good food place. From the gourmet Tuna Tataki that was delicious, to any ramen. Jaye Aster Broder: We really enjoyed the spicy sesame ramen and the beef ramen. The spicy ramen is flavorful but very mild in heat and moderate in salt. While the decor of the small restaurant is basic at best, the toppings on all the ramen truly made the dishes. It was not crowded when we went as two people but I would definitely recommend making a reservation if your party is larger or trying to eat at peak times. We didn’t have sushi but saw other tables with it and think you should skip the sushi because the ramen portions are very filling. The staff are friendly and maybe overly talkative. One Ramen Sushi is the third ramen restaurant I’ve visited and would say it’s my favorite so far.
Lydia Chew: Easily a new favorite! Everything I've tried here has been delicious, from the ramen to the sushi rolls. There's a great lunch deal too. The owner is super sweet and attentive, and service is exceptional.

Tom Manovitz: Such a fantastic place! The food, the service, the energy is just perfect.
Henry SooHoo: Popped in for lunch. The prices for lunch are particularly incredible: $10.5 for 2 rolls and $13.5 for 3 rolls. Ramen prices are $11-13.Ordered the tonkotsu ramen and 2 rolls (salmon avocado cucumber and yellowtail) and both tasted fresh. Was especially fond of the first roll. The ramen broth was really good and the char siu had good flavor if not quite melt in your mouth. Noodles could use a little more chew but acceptable.Every person gets a house salad as a starter. Lunch specials come with a miso soup that helped warm us up.
Jonathan Proctor: Decent food, good prices, excellent service. Not gonna blow you away but solid.
Alanna: I love everything from them! Great place to be alone or with friends. Ramen, soup, everything is delicious! Good price, nothing expensive, service is great, they are very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back. It worthy the drive!

Nathaniel Arias: Uni is undoubtedly one of Boston's best places for sushi. I cannot recommend this place more vehemently.TLDRUni is for sushi lovers looking for value and high quality ingredients. The best part? Service goes above and beyond what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. A vibrant energy great for special occasions or simply enjoying high grade sushi.SERVICEFirst, I want to shout out Josh for his amazing attention and really bringing together the full experience of quality and service. Came here for a birthday celebration and while feeling slightly overwhelmed with the options, Josh took the reigns and practically curated a menu for us. He helped uswith the saki to the kitchen dishes, and of course the sashimi and nigiri. After having a great experience, we even asked him to get us an additional dish without telling us what it was - simply based on what we had enjoyed so far.DRINKSJosh recommended the Wakatake under Junmai Daiginjo. It was extremely balanced and paired well with all the dishes throughout. I would order it again.FOODWe ordered a bunch of items FROM THE KITCHEN. All were great but the most memorable were the shishito peppers (unique way of combining sweet and savory), Spanish octopus (sous vide to perfection), Wagyu dumplings (incredible sauce) and A5 Wagyu Sirloin (A5 speaks for itself but the experience is unique to Uni - get it). For sashimi and nigiri, EVERYTHING was great. I hate to use such a blanket statement but after eating all of our dishes, we asked to order more because it was so good. Shout out particular to the Spicy Tuna & Food Gras, Shimano Yuki Mash - Snow Trout, and Toro.SPACEUni has two main areas: one being street level and the other the lower ground. Both have a sushi counter with the lower ground area having a smaller more intimate setting. The ambiance is energetic with good music.
Darius Russell Kish: I'll preface this by saying I've been here in the past and loved it -- food and service were incredible and no complaints. But I recently went with a larger (5p) party and have to say the service was incredibly disappointing. No complaints about the food other than the kitchen absolutely mistiming everything. Our waiter was inattentive, the food runners didn't know the dishes (she said "here's the white asparagus" which it clearly wasn't, and then she said "wait, no it's the monkfish"... it was the bamboo shoots) and we were waiting until the check came for some of the dishes to come out. We also got another table's food for two dishes. We had to remind the waiter 3 times about missing dishes, and each time he didn't seem to even remember what we were waiting for. The waiter also poured the rest of my friend's beer into his glass and promptly walked away as it foamed over and spilled onto the table. They said they would comp one dish that was egregiously late to the table and did so, so I will give them that. For a place that ended up around $70/pp before tip, and a place that I've been and had amazing service and food at before, they really lacked this time around. Really hesitant to come back at that price point.
Kiki Zizi: The Uni Spoon, Unagi Nigiri, Foie Gras (both options) were highly recommended, drinks are great too. The salmon sashimi, Hamachi sashimi, Crazy Boston, maki were unimpressive; the Spicy Negiham, A5 Wagyu Sirloin, chocolate mousse and brown sugar banana mochi were a letdown. Service was alright, we had to wait for the server to check in. Overall it’s just okay

Natalia Horinkova: Love love love! Love the vibe, love the food, and the staff is incredibly helpful. The menu is different than I was used to it but grilled shrimp sasauge is MUST to try ( and I don't even like shrimps) it's like a little celebration of all possible flavours you didnt even know can work together. Explosion in mouth. It's expensive, yes, but value worth for the experience and satisfy tummy.
Mike Chung: I wonder why I don't go and have a meal at Uni more often. The food is just fabulous, and the service impeccable. It's a genuine great meal each time I come here. I will revisit soon!
Alexandra Yu: Do not recommend $300 omakase. We sat on the lower floor, it was noisy and dark, and could barely see what our dishes were. There was a mix of really good to mediocre dishes. It would be better to save your money for the good dishes by ordering individually. The dishes didn't really come out at a steady pace; there were moments when we would have to wait 10-20 minutes between dishes and the next few would come out almost all at once. Also, the order they came out in did not make sense. Our second-to-last dish was the tako, which was the worst. It was very heavy with sesame oil and chewy and was difficult for me to finish especially after we already ate 9-10 dishes prior. They should have ended it with the congee especially since we added caviar and had the A5 wagyu.Honestly, the tako dish ruined the whole experience for me because this is the singular dish that I remember when I am reminded of this restaurant.

Katya Popova: I stopped by Uni tonight and had a terrible time— I ended up paying more than 60 dollars for one order of maki and sake.I asked for hot sake, but they gave me the cold version, and charged me for both the hot and cold sake. The waiter was messy—the soy sauce was all over the table as he gave me my portion —usually the customer is in charge of how much of soy sauce they pour…For those who are hungry and cold late at night wondering the streets of Boston—please find some other joint! Don’t get seduced by the big Uni sign.
Laurence Mercier-Lafond: We LOVE Uni! It is one of our favorite go-tos in Boston whether for date night, new years eve celebration, or birthdays.
