The Massage School: what do users think?
Crislisa Bethancourt: Great massages for $40!!!
CURVY LIFE: The best $40.00 massages ever! Cheap massages, but high quality ❤️
Phinex Phinex: Great experience !!!
Brian Yun: Great experience for the price of it!Someone in my work posted a flyer for a 1-hr massage for $40. So I called to book an appointment. Chances are you'll have to leave a voice mail and they'll give you a call the same day. Its only Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.Once you get there, its like a lobby and the receptionist will give you towel and then the student missuses will grab you once they are ready. Note that this is a school so you don't get a private room. It's a dimmed open space with about 10+ massaging beds. You'll have the privacy of a changing room.I would recommend this 100% if you're looking for affordable massages.
Diane Dawkins: I was damaged in this place. I ended up with a deep gash on my back, the student that did it knew she did it and didn't make herself accountable for what she did.
Luv Resrch: I totally agree with the positive comments below. The administrative staff is professional, accommodating and personable, as are the students. Always a special treat.
Rachel Wahlert: Positive:Communication,ValueGreat service! Worked wonders on my hips. You'll likely get a voicemail when you call but they're great at calling you back!
Jesse Miller: I had Sophie who gave an excellent full body massage! And for $40 (before tip) for an hour, the price is unbeatable. There’s also free street parking right along the street which was convenient.
Lisa McCalla: Great massages at great prices. Definitely can't beat that! Comfortable environment each batch of students are different. I have been blessed to have really good students. The overall services are great. From administrator pleasant and warm greeting to the goodbye. Very professional for a school. I do really like it there and miss the services
Deborah C: For a $35 massage (plus a tip! :)), I would definitely come back.I had Rachel, who was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable, especially since it was my first time there. Like other reviewers said, it takes place in a room with other people. I probably would've been uncomfortable but she did a great job of keeping me properly covered the whole time. The booking process was relatively easy - left a voicemail with my preference for date and time and got a call back the next day.
Julia Hubert: I had a very negative experience at the Massage School of Boston this last time. A few months ago, I had a negative experience with a student who caused me significant discomfort. I shared this with the man at the front desk, and he explained that he could not guarantee any particular student to a client. This past time that I went, I was assigned to this same student, and I asked to have another student. Both him and the student became upset, but he allowed me to have another student for my massage. As I was leaving, I apologized for the situation and asked if I could have the woman’s name so I could ask not to have her when booking my future appointments. The man at the front desk said that what I did was very negative and that he was hesitant to ever book me again. It would’ve been much more reasonable for him to work with me rather than close the door in my face like that. Very poor customer service.
Kayla Smith: The man who appears to run the place but in reality “works the front desk” has serious issues. The owners are aware of his behavior but they don’t seem to care that he berates students and clients alike. His attitude can change on a dime, he is a very angry little man.
Samantha LaForgia: Boston (South end) -- it was great! Yes it is a community concept (all the massage tables are in a room), but that is OK ... I had a great massage--asked if pressure was good throughout and it is nice because you are able to give the students feedback! Great stuff and good learning at a good price!I loved Miranda.. I'll be back for sure!
Vik Y: The only massage place to go to.
Heidy: On 7/2 my friends and I booked a massage and were very disappointed with the service we received. I was unable to get my massage that day because I was stuck in typical Boston traffic. My friends went any way and asked if they could get a refund for my massage—the least they could say was “No” but they asked just to be sure. The man at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional and yelled at my friends. He said we had “wasted a student’s credit.” I’m sure cancellations happen all the time, but he was unprofessional to say the least. It’s disappointing that the front desk person didn’t know how to be respectful and approachable. Take your money and time elsewhere.
James Bacon: Definitely worth the $30 price for an hour massage. No private room but worth it if you don’t mind. A little annoying / difficult to book given the phone tag, but the guy who does it is super friendly and accommodating and does his best to get back to you quickly.
Rand Chaqmaqchee: So bad people working there specifically the admission. terrible experience
Jon Lee: Awesome place. Unbeatable price for professional quality. Should mention that the massage is given in an open (dimly lit) room with lots of other people - but that's not a problem at all because all I ask for is a good massage. Would highly highly recommend!
Tegan Kehoe: Until yesterday, I really liked this place, and hoped to make it an at least monthly routine. I've had some great massages and some disappointing ones there, but that makes sense for students, and the price is right, especially since regular professional massages are out of the budget for me. However, I had a bad experience with a massage yesterday, enough so that a staff member (I believe her name was Mara) noticed and asked what she could do to help, and listened. She was great, she went above and beyond. On my way out, Scott, who runs the desk and I believe is the manager or owner, asked if it was anything he should know about, so I gave him a summary (probably more rambling than I intended, but still short, maybe two sentences). All I expected was an "I'm sorry you feel this way" or something to that effect. Instead, he talked about the fact that they're students, you can't expect them to know how to react to every situation yet, etc.I didn't disagree with much of what he was saying, but I thought that he had wanted the information about why I was disappointed by the student, since he had asked. I told him as much, and he doubled down, elaborating on their lack of experience. Part of what had upset me was the fact that the student seemed very freaked out by the fact that I cried a little on the massage table, and seemed to be trying to get me to stop for his own sake, rather than mine. I had already told Scott this, and so when he went on about them not being experienced I said something along the lines of "I don't expect perfect professionalism, I just hoped for a little basic human kindness." That really upset him, and he told me I was attacking his student's character (I didn't intend to, I just wanted to express my concern about his behavior). He also suggested I get help for whatever issues I had (yes, I had cried in public, but that's not that uncommon in massage clients, and not really an appropriate thing to say in an already tense conversation with a stranger / customer). At this point, I really didn't know what to do, because I really liked The Massage School, and wanted him to give me a reason to come back, a simple apology, for example. I should have cut my losses and left, but I guess I was overly optimistic. I told him that I had hoped to become a regular (I've been there five times) but now I had concerns, not because of the student but because he was reacting so defensively after he had asked for the information. He said that I was the one being defensive.I repeated the concerns that I had, stupidly hoping for some kind of at least perfunctory apology. Scott told me that I wasn't welcome back. I don't know what I did to merit that other than take up more of his time than he wanted and tell him true, mostly politely-worded things he didn't want to hear; until the end of the conversation I was shaky but moderately quiet. I stood to leave but tried to restate why I was disappointed before I went. He interrupted me a few times until I said, "I'll leave as soon as I finish my sentence." At that point I was speaking at regular volume, rather than the semi-hushed tones of the waiting room of the massage studio, and I tried to tell him once more that his behavior was much more concerning than the student's. I admit I wasn't exactly concise, but it was a regular run-on sentence, nothing out of the ordinary for someone tired and frustrated. Scott raised his voice above mine while I was still speaking, got up, and physically escorted me out (not touching me, but walking close to me while angrily pointing). The whole interaction took maybe three to five minutes, which I know is a long time to spend with an upset customer, but the waiting room was empty and I wasn't aggressive, just more like stunned with a quavery voice. I am very sad to lose my favorite massage place, but I would not be returning, even if Scott hadn't told me I wouldn't be allowed. All I wanted was an "I'm sorry you had that experience."
Paulie Driver: Hanna gives a great massage

Rainbow Health Center: what do users think?
Olivia Bilodeau: I was hesitant to go here because of reviews about being forced to tip but the company responded to those reviews saying they were under new mgt. I always tip anyhow. However, they have not changed practices. They were very forceful that I tip more. Super awkward.
Alexey: Great place!
Lisa Bolduc: One of the best places in Boston to get a massage!
Alondra Colon López: Espectacular, me encanto todo. Muchas gracias!
Bobby Shea: Request Tina you will thank me later. She’s incredible!!
Renee DuChainey-Farkes: This place is best kept secret. Lulu and Tina are my favorites! They do a fabulous massage!!!
Ling Liao: I have couple massages today. Ming and Lulu did a great job. Definitely come back.
Kristen Keveney: Able to get me in as soon as I called. Massage was great!
Anh Bungcayao: My husband and I have been coming here for years, and they have never disappointed. We always leave feeling refreshed and even pain free. (I get bad migraines.) You just have to be vocal about what areas to focus on if you have certain areas of the body that needs more attention. Clean place, friendly staff.
Yan Kuang: Wow I had a Tina and Ming couples massage today and I gave them my focus areas i.e. my lower back, hips and hamstrings...I can't describe how rejuvenated I felt. Especially the sciatica on my left side, it's like scratching an itch and I can't catch it. Massage really helps soothe nerves that need a long massage.
Jeremy P. L: If you are having back pain, neck pain all those kind of issues and looking for a really good massage, this is NOT a place to go to. If you are looking for something special (if you know what I mean) this is NOT a place to go to either.
Susy Natalia: My go to massage place. Super convenient and close by. Price is affordable and service always great.
ML3: My wife & I have been coming here for years and years. Only have had good experiences. We have had Jerry, Wendy, Linda, & Ming. They are all excellent. The establishment is clean & they truly work hard to do a good job. They run on time & offer cash discount. $60Cash for 1 hour massage and $65 credit card. Have had many massages at elite hotels in Boston & this place truly does a better quality massage. Ask for Jerry or Wendy & you won’t be disappointed! If you like a deeper tissue Massage get Ming. From,Mark & Mary
Sladjana Zivkovic: Great experience! We booked a last minute, late night foot massage and they were able to accommodate. And it was amazing! Friendly staff, clean space and great massage! We will be back and highly recommend it! Also, it's on a good location, right of Newbury!
Trâm Nguyễn: If I could give them minus star, i would. Whoever is the receptionist there is extremely rude, especially when they noticed you have groupon voucher. I simply asked for the female technicians and she yelled at me for “YOU CAN NOT REQUEST ABOUT THAT, IT’S GONNA BE ONE OR TWO FEMALE” ?!?!Fyi, I can request whoever I want even I have groupon or not. This business better stop treating customers like this. Let me teach you a simply trick, customers pay less for services, they will tip you even better. Note that
Portia DePina: I called to book an appointment & they said they had availability & told me how much it would be & that they only accept cash. When I told them I had a Groupon, they said they didn't have availability. Bad business!!!
Richard Greensted: Awesome massage from Ann. Heated table, hot stones, quiet, clean room. Very enjoyable.
Lee L: Great affordable place for good string massage
Adrienne Tse: Did not get to experience.Would not honor groupon I purchased for a Christmas gift.Due to this fact that they sold their service on Groupon & not go forward with my purchase, I do not recommend this place.
Yang Justin: I would never come back to this place. Super unprofessional. First, my masseur was talking loudly to the front desk while massaging me. Then, she left in the middle of my session to take on a different client who was starting a 90 minutes session, and in came a different masseur who did the second half of my session. There was no communication, no explanation, no consenting on my end. Because of this, I was short about 5 minutes of my massage. That’s not it— at the end, I presented to her my Groupon— she had the audacity to reject the Groupon by saying I can’t use it as it’s “for 3pm or earlier only” (which is not true per T&C on the Groupon) and asked me to pay by cash or credit card (5 dollar surcharge for credit card transaction). The negative reviews on Groupon are all true. Extremely unprofessional— I’ve never had a session where a different masseur finished the session without any explanation or communication— and then to reject me using my Groupon. I’m a new customer and I’m never going back to this place.
Alyssa Lee: I’ve gone 3 times so far, always a great affordable massage.

Foot Heaven.us: what do users think?
Karan Dyson: Really disappointed in the tip shake down at the end of the massage. I will definitely not go back. Tips are solely at the discretion of the customer based on the service. This is not ok. I am very concerned! I think they are taking advantage of the worker’s, not paying minimum wage and having them work tips only - which explains the mandatory 20%. If this is not the case then the alternative is that they are taking advantage of the customer which is even worse because they are all in on it.
Reste B.: I regret going there for a massage and not reading properly the google reviews about the poor customer service and asking for a huge tip at the end. The massage was good, but nothing special. I felt like the massage lady is in hurry during the massage and I could not relax enough. It was also a bit noisy around (people talking and the phone ringing).I also went to the sauna afterwards. It is a small sauna accessible from the main hallway and if you want to shower between the sessions you have to cross the hallway to take the shower and afterwords there is no space to relax before another cycle. The temperature was 50 degrees Celcius at the beginning and 65 at the end. The worst part came at the end when me and my partner wanted to pay and we've been asked for a tip. First we gave 10 dollars and that was not enough, so we gave her 20 and she was still not happy with that telling us about the poor girls working there. She didn't even say thank you for the tip and now I regret leaving her the bill. She was almost screaming at us, it was a terrible experience and we left with a very bad impression.
Gabriel Szuma: The massage was average at best and the sauna is a joke. But it would have been fine if the old lady did not try to overcharge us at the end for at least 20% tip. Very rude, yelling at us that the tip is for the employees. They should just be transparent and charge more, this way its very sketchy. Not recommended at all
Charlotte Dai: This is a hidden gem! The massage we received was great and we felt very relaxed afterwards. The atmosphere was also nice and clean.
Paloma Matto: Very disappointed, the massage was great the lady that did my massage was excellent. I paid ahead of time, on my way out the old lady at the front asked me for tips and I went back to look for the massage lady to give her the tip. She said she would give it to her, I have her 5 and she said it’s 20% tip of the total amount. No where it said you have to give 20% of the amount. But I said ok and asked her if I could venmo the lady directly she said no that she wanted me to pay in card. Then I said “well if that’s the case then give me the cash money I payed and I’ll just pay the service I’m card and add the 20% tip so it can go to the lady that provided the service, she refused and called the lady. I kindly asked the massage lady for Venmo, cash app because I wanted the money to go directly to her. She started cursing at me in Chinese thinking I wouldn’t understand but I actually do. Very poor customer service by the owner I believe she is an old Chinese woman. I can never go to a place that takes advantage of her employees and treats it’s customers very poorly. BTW I ended up giving the massage lady the tip for the amount of 20% directly to her.
Stavros Macrakis: Big clean Chinese-style foot and body massage place. Good foot massage.Bad point: masseuse insistently demanded a $10 tip on a $35 massage.
Adam Kahn: Super relaxing experience
Andrea C: Foot massages are heavenly.
Mohit Goyal: We have consistently visited this place because of convenience of the location and the fact that their massage therapists have never disappointed. Their customer service probably is not the best, but I am here to get a good massage.
Yixiao Jiang: The therapist asked for more than 30% tips. They might as well just increase the price.
Abigail Bancks: Nice massage, but the lady at the front was extremely rude and it kind of ruined the vibe. I tipped 25% and she said, "That's it?" Thinking she was joking I asked to confirm if I had paid enough, and she asked for another ten dollars. Just charge me more for the massage if that's not sufficient...
Judy Hong: I do massages a LOT, especially when I travel, and I must say Michael is one of the best experiences I’ve had with foot reflexology, the body massage was incredible as well. Cash price is some of the most affordable you can get. Place is pleasant and clean. Strongly recommend.
Nabil Nasser: I've never had a massage like this before it was a great experience and helped relieve a lot of tension. I just wish it felt a bit cleaner, might have been because I arrived at the end of the day
Juan Gabriel Vasquez: The service was very bad. They tried to overcharge me at the end, and after I realized that they were trying to over charge me, they demanded that I gave them 20% tip. I declined and the lady literally took the cash out of my hand.I do not recommend going here for a massage, unless you like impoliteness and unethical behavior.
Mia: Very good massage
Fabricio Pereira: These people are very professional and sweet, i really enjoyed my visit. Definitely coming back.
Blue Greenbean: I walk and stand on my feet everyday I spend hours upon hours on hard cement floors that leave me crawling if not hobbling all the way home. Thankfully my wife found this place and spoiled me to an hour foot massage. They were extremely professional and awesome with my feet. My wife keeps telling me to stop dancing it looks strange cuz she's not used to me actually feeling good on my feet. Lol
Cassie Lin: I just received a 60 minute foot massage. If you pay in cash, it's around $48. This is my first time receiving a foot massage and it was pretty good! Definitely relaxing; the first few minutes, i received a quick massage on my upper back and shoulders and that was much needed! It is a bit intense (I didn't mind!) so definitely say something in the beginning if you want something less intense. It was a bit noisy (people talking and the phone ringing) but I didn't mind too much.
Joseph Brassard: Foot reflexology-style massage. Not for the faint of heart but if you are getting over a foot injury (or plantar fasciitis) this might be right up your alley. For one hour the cash option was $48, which is much better than I was expecting. But again, if you want a relaxing style massage you should tell them ahead of time, otherwise they are doing deep-tissue type work that isn't for everyone.
onkar kadam: Amazing service
Frank Magyar: Positive:Professionalism,QualityProbably the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. Just excellent.

Viyada Thai Massage School: what do users think?
Lee-Sean Huang: I recently took an intensive weekend course at the Viyada Thai Massage School. Owner/instructor Krit was patient and professional. He went through the details of the different techniques and sequences and gave us time to practice on each other. I appreciated how he encouraged us to incorporate what we had learned into our own styles and modalities. For what it's worth, I am not a practicing massage therapist, but I have experience with giving/getting bodywork as a martial artist and athlete. I have had the chance to practice on a couple of friends since taking the course, and they have appreciated my skills power-up. Even if you aren't a professional massage therapist, I would recommend this course.
Jillian Farrel: Please be good to yourself and book a Thai massage here. From the minute I walked in, it was serene, pristine, and the staff was so kind. I felt comfortable, and more importantly, like I had more space in my body (and mind) after my traditional Thai massage. I can't wait to come back!
Apple Meesati: This school is amazing , intuitive healing in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. As a student, I couldn't imagine a better place to learn Thai massage therapy.Krit (Chris) Panichpisal ,the owner is an extraordinary, knowledgeable and passionate teacher. He is very skilled in what he does ,I feel so ridiculously lucky to have found this school, and SO much technique from Chris .For anyone looking to study Thai massage,Go see Chris. One of the highest quality Thai massage school I've had the pleasure of learning from Viyada Thai Massage School is the place .
Matt S: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe people here are so nice. The energy makes you smile when you walk in the door. Best in new England
Molly Lessard: I took a thai massage ceu here, the instructor was excellent and spa was beautiful. Hoping to come back for the next level up training!

Healthy Foot Spa: what do users think?
Russ Chilli: A waste of time and money. The massage was not good and they complained about groupon. Will not return
Nicole Coco: 可怕的经历 前台大妈服务态度巨差 泡脚用冷水?还说这么热的天不用热水 不知道老板哪找的这些人 一点责任心都没有
Alex Lee: I feel like the 30 minutes foot massage doesn’t worth its price. The therapists were talking loudly in there own dialect, and I cannot relax!! They asked me to tip before doing the massage, and no one asks me about my need and the pressure. It’s a terrible experience.
Lori Jackson: Terrible place, paid up front for 30 minutesof foot and neck prior to service. The therapist did Not understandEnglish and hurt myback. I tipped her 5.00 and she blocked me from leaving demanding 20%tip!I felt threatened and that she would beat me up! STAY AWAY!back. I tipped her $5.00
Nhi Nguyen: NOT RELAXING AT ALL!! The employees talk in their language the whole time, very loudly. I took my grandma here for a relaxing time for her to spend her holiday but the employees talked THE WHOLE TIME. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Jasmine Nguyen: If I can give zero stars I would. This place is worst of the worst. When I went in for my appointment I had wait an hour before they take me in. It was not relaxing at all, they kept on talking the whole time. She kept pausing to talk to the other lady. This place is not very organized. The chairs are dirty and the place is not very sanitized.
William's Triumph: Sorry to the people who had a bad time, for the $40 I spent The massage girl really tried hard to fix my foot that I hurt while traveling. It probably did speed up my recovery time.
Anna Steyn: Never have I ever had a worse massage/experience at a public place. I’d asked for 20 minutes on feet and 10 minutes on shoulders, and she stopped on my feet after 7 minutes and physically tried to push me to lay down, while I was trying to communicate that I was supposed to have more time on my feet. Then they moved me to a different room and I asked what was going on. The other lady who spoke a tiny bit of English could tell I was annoyed and came in any told me I had a pretty face and to relax and was rubbing my arm. I stated that this was not relaxing at all. After the lady rubbed my shoulders and ended 5 minutes early, I gave a smaller tip than usual as it was a terrible experience. She then *blocked* the door and demanded a larger tip! I literally never write reviews but DON’T GO HERE.
Kayla Castro: AVOID! Absolutely no English speaking at all- or so they appear this way. It might be easier to avoid concerns and and complaints when pretending. AVOID!!!!!!!!They chatted the entire time, making it near impossible to relax. Loud chatter at that. The solicited tips, and looking at other reviews now I see this is a common trend. AVOID!!!! Massage was sub-par. I almost forget to mention the massage because of the overwhelming amount of disappointment.
kathie britto: Was ok. I asked for feet & calves only but he was determined to do head and neck. The ‘power’ as be called it (pressure) was too much on my head but great on my feet & legs. More listening would help
Zelda Hyrule: Massage was okay at best; definitely one of the worst massages I ever had. They used very little pressure and honestly felt like they were just massaging wherever.Secondly, they force you to pay at the beginning of the massage and when I questioned this, they spoke NO ENGLISH and could not understand what I was saying. I eventually just paid up front to get it over with.Lastly, they force you to tip. Literally, two other people and the person who massaged me basically surrounded me and kept repeating tip over and over again. I only had a credit card to pay and honestly, I hope I didn’t get scammed. There are so many better places then this. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Never going back.
Antonia Liu: Forced to pay $15 dollar tip for a 30min massage!!! They took my card for tips, instead of letting me write down the number I want to give. I asked if I could tip less, they literally told me "no one tips that little" and refused to change the number in the card machine. Massage was not good either. Stay away!
Lorelle Quast: Great place in Chonatown
Erin B: Yeah.... So this place is definitely not what's advertised on Google. I found it in person and took a chance because the place I wanted couldn't take a walk in. The set up is crammed and tiny, the massage therapist kept leaving me in the room to go do other things. Also, there is NO ENGLISH SPEAKING by anyone. There's one sign in English that says things like every service is one where you remain clothed, but I was made to strip and covered with a towel for a Bodywork session. They made me pay upfront, then the "massage therapist" managed to go ask a co-worker how to say TIP and when I said I could give one with my credit card only and showed her a value on my phone she drew out a higher number guilting me into tipping more. She was sweet enough but I didn't like the tip gouging. Definitely not someplace I'd return to.
liamjah: This place is nothing like it’s pictures. False advertisement at its best...
Lauren I: I'm giving 3 stars (and not less), because my massage therapist was sweet. Unfortunately, she didn't know much about massage techniques and dealing with issues with particular muscles. You can get cheap Groupons here, but be aware that staff speaks little English. My therapist spoke Mandarin. Not sure about the others.
Humberto Thompson: I like Burke Williams a lot BUT I have to say that getting a great massage or facial seems to be based on luck. I like their facilities-sauna, steam room, lounge, etc. I have had good massages and facials and real bad ones. Unfortunately, the people who work there do not work there forever so it is hard to make appointments with the same person. However, it is still a nice getaway from my daily life!
Nathan Hillard: A little rough around the edges, but still a good massage for the price. Staff was very nice.
Vanessa Hofman: Wow I field so great afterwards.

Wellness Indulgence: what do users think?
Annie Tran: I felt great and they made me feel relaxed. $50 for 30 minutes, amazing price.
Ed Sharrer: When you visit a city and need to book a massage to loosen your back, you always wonder what you'll be walking into. This was a pleasant experience. Good massage for a fair price. Second floor shop.
Armin Heinfling: Feels good during and after the massage
Garret K: People were nice and able to get me in on shirt notice
Kimmy Enersen: Nice place. My bff and I got 30 min foot massages. They were excellent!! Actually helped my hip pain. I would definitely return.
Helen: Very clean and professional. Amazing experience!!
Adrian Cruz-Cordero: My wife and I have been meaning to get massage for a while. We saw this place as we were walking by and decided to check it out. The men were very polite and tended to us very quickly. The masseuse used appropriate amount of pressure and would ask throughout the session. For the quality and price, I recommend this place. I would definitely come back again.
Soyeon Kim: Critical:QualityHORRIBLE. THE WORST. Insisted tips for more than 20%. What a nightmare. Please dont waste your time and money here. They yelled and forced us not to come back when we said that 25% tip is too much.
Candice Cartier: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,QualityHad a very horrible experience, i dont recommend to anyone! Should have stayed home instead of waisting nerves energy money and time. The woman was rude , was talking on her phone while “i was supposed to relax” , going in n out ,everything was loud, not a single sec for peace moment
Anel Urazova: Critical:Professionalism,Quality
Clara Pérez Ruiz: Nice professional massage, the masseuse didn't talk any which is a big plus.

Ni Coal: These people are crooks. Horrible massage which didn't leave me feeling any better, they didn't use the hot stones as advertised online & on Newbury St. Infuriating customer service. They force you to tip a minimum amount for their "special price" which is ridiculous. Bad energy overall from these people. Avoid at all costs, go around the corner to Rainbow Health Center on Gloucester St where the staff are friendly, prices are the same, and massages are far superior.
MsNara: I came here for a 60 minute deep tissue massage and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had! Amy was very attentive and friendly, extremely receptive to my feedback throughout the session. I came in fairly blocked in my lower back and she managed to make it so much better. I loved the hot towels in between. It's a clean and mostly quiet place and at the same time so conveniently located on Newbury Street. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for an intense therapeutic massage experience.
Erika Love: Amazing!!! I will be back!
Lila Nazef: I love the place it’s decent and price is affordable for Newbury Street for that quality. I go often and recommend it

Nomad Organic Foot Spa: what do users think?
Elivia L: Great Massage Therapist!!
Deniz O.: Been going here regularly since 2017. Great service for a great price. Mike in Brookline and Anna in Newton are the best! Mike has good technique, a mixture of a deep tissue, sport-massage and acupressure. Highly skilled professional.
Sara Atkins: I've been here several times because I love it so much. Very clean, front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The massage was relaxing, the atmosphere was really calm , perfect way to have a massage!
Olga Siriachenko: Great massage place. Always there if I’m in pain
Jeanlouis wanyan: I had an amazing experience at this massage spa in Boston! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was calming, and the massage was top-notch. Highly recommend.
Mona Ma: Amazing Asian Spa. Came here multiple times since 2 years ago. Massage is the same quality every time. Need to call them for reservations.
Sherel Thrash: A friend introduced me to this place and Tina was amazingggg! Will be back very soon to see her again!
Erik Threlkeld: Easy to make a reservation over the phone. The staff are friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the space is superior compared to many other foot spas I have experienced.
Julian Runge: Massages are good. It’s a little noisy sometimes maybe. Today, my massage only lasted 50 minutes while I had booked 60 minutes. We started 5 mins past the hour and finished 5 mins before the hour. Was my fourth time here and the first time this happened at this place, disappointing.
Monna Guo: I used to go to massage in China and met countless masseurs. I have tried 5-6 different massage therapists since I came to Boston, but none of them have ever made me feel as comfortable as Eva did the whole time, she found all the spots I wanted to be pressed and didn't need me to tell her. I went back at night feeling better about my sleep. I hope you'll try her technique!
W Aurora: My to go Chinese massage (TuiNa)place. Great masseuse, very affordable price, great atmosphere.
Nora Zhao: This place used to be great, but recently some of the massage therapist changed their names which made it difficult to find the right person that I usually go to. Also it was funny that they asked me to pay for the difference because the prepaid card I bought was at the old pricing. The prepaid card was only for 5 visits and I had 2 visits left - it’s not that I bought 100 visits to take advantages. Interesting to see a business doe this to loyal customers:)
Justina Cao: The receptionist rolled her eyes at my friend and me with a very bad attitude even though we booked in advance. And she was very impatient when we were talking, there’s 0 respect. Anyways very bad experience will not recommend.
ruixin xu: The receptionist's attitude is really bad!!!!If you come, you must make clear what you can think of in advance, otherwise she will not have a good attitude, and the overall experience will be very bad!!!!! I don't know where she was looking when we are talking. I hope the boss could take this as a consider if possible. However, the therapists are awesome and professional.
Tushar Sinha: Relax, Renew and RefreshNew spa at Newton, soothing ambience, good staff and service. I wanted to rate 4/5 as I was charged for an hour long, when I made an appointment for 30 min service. But can’t help it I was enjoying the experience and time passed by like anything.Owners should be accountable for the time and service they provide to their customers.A day at spa are necessity and not a luxury. Book your appointment today.
Kim Heatley: My wife raves about their hand and body massages!!!
shuai ye: This place gives amazing massages at good prices.Clean. Quiet. If you are looking for niceties like chit chat and your masseuse's name, this may not be a good fit. If you want a hardcore professional massage that really gets
Laura K: I really enjoyed the foot reflexology and I will 100% go back for that, but the body message was subpar. yes the prices are good but if you walk away with more back pain then when you arrived I feel like that is not good. overall fine experience, likely to return during the week when the prices are a bit lower. Not worth the $105 dollars i spent.
Yuhao F: 环境好,预约准时,性价比高。给我们按的是 Sally 和 Angela,手法娴熟,特别舒服。五星好评!期待 Newton 店早日开业。
Llll CCC: Great experience and price.
ivy lin: Pretty good! We felt so relieved after the massage!

Happy Feet Spa: what do users think?
ming yin chu: 師傅專業,力度夠
Mark Kratochvil: Amazing massages with amazing prices!!! Thank you!
Nicole Coco: 每次来波士顿唐人街必来 很好的深层按摩💆‍♀️主要工作人员态度都非常好
Anita Daugherty: Love this place. Great 90 minute massage. Always leave relaxed.
syd milliken: If you haven't had a Chinese "Foot bath" , give it a try. Is really soaking feet while getting craniosacral massage, reflexology, and full body massage with clothes on. A defined routine and extremely reasonable price! We do 1.5 hours. Involves high pressure massage so be prepared and expect to feel like you are walking on clouds afterwards!
Karen Botcheller: Great, deep massage. I always leave feeling relaxed! I do miss the service of hot tea and orange wedges, but it's been a while since I have been to HF and I assume this was a change during the pandemic.
Nick Curtis Hennen: fantastic
Abigail Gustafson: Phenomenal! It was easy to book an appointment, they had availability for three of us at once (including a 9 year old, and they were attentive to our requests. Very comfortable and amazing massages. We’re going back again as soon as we can.
A Murphy: About the only thing great about this place is the unique massage experience. Worth a try for $55 hour. Don't expect great customer service and if you don't tip well they will literally pressure you and snear at you. Unbelievable! With that treatment I'll never go back.
Anna Rombe-Shoov: Massage was very good. Communication is a bit of challenge. Google translate was very helpful
Dee Crespin: Was able to just walk in, unlike the other places that were booked. The lady was so sweet!!!! Decent foot massage. I would've liked it a bit harder, but maybe because I'm petite she assumed it was better to be gentle. Tipped 25% and she was extremely grateful.
Jonas McCracken: Great foot massage. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. Will be coming back again.
Lisa Mader: The therapist name was Lucy. She was about halfway through an hour foot massage when 2 men walked in. She spent at least 10 minutes on her phone talking and texting someone and looking to see where the men clients went. The other therapist Chloe noticed I wasn’t happy and apologized saying the boss overbooked. I paid for an hour and did not get an hour. I gave her a $5.00 tip and begged after for a 20% tip. I didn’t want to cause a scene. I would never go to this place again. So disappointed. Terrible service
Christi-an Austin: They initially refused to give me change and said it was for the tip. I indicated that I would tip 20% on the regular price as I received a small discount. That was not to their liking as they took the money and walked away without saying anything. Very unprofessional and the massage was mediocre at best. I will not waste my money at this establishment.
K Cancel: Worst 30 minute massage ever. I felt the guy was beating me instead of massaging me. I kept flinching and asking him to ease up and he complied for a few seconds but quickly resumed the torture. After he was done I went to pay and add a $5 tip. They owner or manager had the audacity to tell me, “no no no, 20% at least. Needless to say this was insanely subpar service and inappropriate to try to dictate to me how much to tip someone who caused more pain than before I went in for the visit.
Ryssa: Very soothing massage and amazing prices. Staff was very friendly. If I lived in the city I would be in danger of becoming a regular.
Yaritza Pena: My husband and I went in randomly Saturday night for a foot massage. It was $55 for one hour and it was a solid massage - we felt great in the end! The tipping situation was odd though, so I was somewhat relieved when I later saw other people had the same experience in their reviews. We had given each masseuse a 21% tip and the women cashing us out expressed obvious disappointment - it was very awkward.
Archan Luhar: Got half hour. $35. Ten minutes of clueless kneading of my shoulders and arms. Ten minutes of actual foot and leg massage. 8 minutes of wiping my legs with too hot of towels and then slapping my legs pointlessly. Ended early 2 minutes. So glad I didn’t succumb to upsell offer to 1 hr. Worst massage of my life.
Roman T: amazing place, will come back
Eutaw Street: Not a pleasant experience. Rude - no thank you for the tip; just turned away and walked away.
Janet Burn: Positive:QualityThis is my favorite location out of the three and I’ve been to them all. I get the best massage at this location every time and always with someone different. I recommend! Just went back today it’s November 2021 and I had Amy and she was amazing! Ask for her!

Original Foot Reflexology: what do users think?
Jennifer Ortiz: They’re awesome!! Amy is extremely nice and professional, the deep tissue massage is wonderful !! So relaxing, I’ll definitely start going once or twice a month.
Jack A: Nice and politePrices are reasonable
Nyah Greene: Best massage ever. I had the Swedish massage with hot stones. He went deep into my back got all the knots out and was in the perfect spots. He asked many times if the pressure was good and where he needed to target. Would 100% go back. 5 stars for sure! Amazing prices too.
Hicham Bennia: What an embarrassment, I made a reservation for 3 persons. Today I called to confirm it but no one would answer. When I got there, a woman told me to come back tomorrow with no explanation.
tony xu: This is a really nicely decorated, clean, convenient to get to spot. It's so easy to make appointments and they're always on time. They don't just go through the motions its really therapy. Fantastic massage. Excellent service. They were able to give me a real deep tissue. I also joined the VIP membership today. I will do 90 minutes next time, because it is so worth it, the cash is only $75. Highly recommend! Definitely going back. Highly recommend.
Kate McK: This place is no longer Original Foot Reflexology, it is now called Relax and Therapy (or something) and the services and prices on the website are no longer accurate. I made an appointment, but because of the language barrier, the therapist had no idea why I was there, they moved me from room to room, then bed to bed, then left me alone in the room without a word. When she finally came in to start (10 minutes late) she just kept pointing to the menu but because they have changed ownership, none of the services she was pointing at were the ones I had made an appointment for. Finally the owner came in and spoke a little bit of English so I was able to sort of explain what I wanted. It was a stressful way to start what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. The massage was okay, nothing like massages I have had there in the past which were fantastic. A cell phone right outside the door was going off the whole time, annoying, and the therapist was very aggressive and didn’t understand when I told her it was too hard or painful. Mostly I just wanted it to be over. The owner tried to charge me $55 for a service that is listed as $40 on the website, but he did honor the website price.I have always had good experiences here but unfortunately I don’t think I will be going back, it was just unpleasant from start to finish.
Alison Cassidy: Okay, I decided to give this place another try after they changed ownership. They accept credit cards, but no AMEX. The prices on the website are no longer accurate, they increased. However, they did honor the website price. They provide a discount if you pay in cash. Pet Peeve was someone came in at least 3 times to talk to my therapist during my massage. I hate this! Massage was awesome!
Mitchell Ana: Amazing, Amazing! I found this place on Yelp as I was in much need of a massage. I got a hot stone massage for 1 hour. And it was pretty decently priced. The decor was calming and beautiful. My masseuse was top notch. 5 stars! She was kind, professional and her hands were superb. She checked in to make sure that I was ok. I fell asleep as soon as I got home lol. It was great and I will be going back and referring friends. Thank you for such a great experience.
Lia: My Favorite Massage Therapist – I've been going to Rachel at Original Foot Reflexology for nearly 6 months. She has the hands of an angel! She really cares about her work and it shows.
James Connelly: If you want a very good real massage, this is the place! Hard or soft, their masseuse delivered excellent results. You have to try it and let the masseuse know what you want and you will be satisfied.
Terry Cook: Was a nice overall massage but slightly heavy handed. Great prices, very clean and fantastic massage. $40 for 60 min is unheard of! I can't wait to go back.
Denise LaCarubba: Linda is amazing!!!
Gabie Flores: I have a strong feeling that most reviews on here are fake. I’m in severe pain and will most likely never go back to this place. A grown man putting that much pressure on my 5’ tall petite body was terrible. I’m so sore. I should’ve said something sooner but didn’t so I blame myself for that. Way too rough. Don’t go here.
Swagat Mishra: Was a nice overall massage but a slightly bit heavy handed.
Emily Morris: Positive:Professionalism,QualityMy husband and I both did the "full body massage"- it was great! Excellent for people who like a massage with lots of pressure :)
han jiayi: Nice place to relax
Konstantinos Kalmanides: I came here with a friend on a weekend. I payed a decent sum of money for an hour for a foot and back massage. As we were being massaged we realized we were being duped. For this massage, the masseuses were basically going through the motions of the massage with absolutely bo pressure involved, even after we told them to put pressure. I’ve gotten many massages before and felt amazing when I walked out the door and the next day. Literally no benefits from them. At the end of the massage the masseuse asked me how much I wanted to tip and told him the amount as then he repeated it in a demeaning and surprised tone. Unbelievable. Worst massage I have gotten to date. Never wasting my time here again.
julia kalisi: Super relaxing, great service and staff .even took a little nap! Will definitely be back.
John Kearney: I noticed that this place just reopened with a new name. Went in with my girlfriend and after one hour of work on our feet we were super relaxed. The staff was polite and the premises were exceptionally clean. We will definitely be back.
Laura Klein: This is a wonderful experience. You come out sooo relaxed. The massage therapist was excellent. The surroundings were calming and very clean. Make it more enjoyable by wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt.
Brian Flores (Mr. Brian Flores): Very peaceful very professional service is stupendous.
