Brian Li: I stopped by the store on a very busy afternoon and had the pleasure of meeting Isaias. Isaias was extremely warm, friendly, and professional. Despite it being a very busy day and me clarifying that I was not intending to buy a watch immediately but rather in a couple years' time (!!) to celebrate a big milestone, Isaias still took the time to walk me through a number of different models and show me everything I was interested to see. I had a fantastic time talking watches with Isaias and definitely will be back in the future! The customer service is first class!

Ben Jamali: Never one to write reviews, but the experience I had at Long's Rolex Boutique on Newbury Street went so far above and beyond my expectations that I felt obliged to share the word with anyone who is in the market for a Rolex. There's a certain type of warm welcome here that is otherwise completely lacking at all of the other Authorized Rolex Dealer's I visited in search of my new watch. Given the inventory shortage, all of the other AD's I checked in with were apathetic about working with me at best, and even dismissive at times. Things are done much differently at Long's. The entire staff, including the boutique director treated me very warmly and were extremely interested in helping me get the exact watch that I was looking for. The communication and follow-up were second to none and within a very reasonable amount of time my gorgeous Rolex Sky Dweller arrived. The boutique is gorgeous and the entire staff is hands down the most professional, courteous, and caring of any in this industry. A true luxury experience from beginning to end. - Ben

Jordan Laugeni: I went to the Newbury store to get my watch cleaned. I was told to wait out front by the security guard and asked what I wanted. He then went inside to confer with the staff inside, came back and say the watch maker isn’t there to clean watches. It’s a really weird customer experience to not just be let in the store to ask the staff myself. Makes me not want to go back.

SFR SanFranciscoRider: Probably the most rude Rolex Jeweller in the whole of USA. Advertised as the biggest Rolex dealer in USA, but biggest does not mean best. Rude service. I own many Rolexes and felt this jeweller provided the most negative Rolex experience, i have witnessed. Ultimately Rolex Corporation is responsible for promoting such negative experiences. Visited the store twice and got the same rude experience from same unprofessional sales rep. Surprised why Rolex allows this to occur. A rolex experience is supposed to be luxurious, however the Rolex experience here is worst than a cheap used car sales dealership. Get your act together Rolex.

Was not expecting anything to be avaliable due to demand however upon arrival was greeted by Marc and he was amazing. Showed me all the current inventory offered us drinks and was very professional. Longs does not fit the model of your usual Ad would recommend to anyone in the area looking to buy a timepiece.

This purchase was a goal I had set 18 years ago after seeing my grandpa's 16610 on his wrist. He showed me the lume and the rotating bezel, and I instantly became obsessed after wearing it on my wrist. At that point, I had set a goal to purchase a Submariner Date for myself.I finally achieved some milestones I wanted to celebrate, and this watch was the perfect way to commemorate those achievements. He told me about the supply and demand issues that Rolex was facing and that there would be a wait for the watch I wanted. I was aware of the current watch market and was fine with waiting because I wanted the AD experience. Marc is extremely passionate about the brand, and it was a pleasure to periodically stop by and chat while building our relationship.After patiently waiting for almost two years, I got a text from Marc that my dream watch had finally arrived. I was offered some champagne while Marc explained the details of the watch and adjusted the links. The purchasing experience was exceptional for me, and it will be a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life. I am thrilled to finally have this watch on my wrist, and I've been wearing it every day since!I wanted to thank the staff at the boutique, the manager, and Marc for making this goal a reality for me. Philip DeCicco is a pleasure to deal with...professional, knowledgeable, patient, helpful and fair. The condition of the watch was indiscernible from new, and shipping was virtually instantaneous. I can not image a transaction going any better than this. My sincere thanks to Philip and the entire team at EWC. When it comes time for my next timepiece, I will be reaching out to Philip again without hesitation.As a follow-up, just to illustrate the incredible level of customer service at EWC, an issue developed with the watch strap that was no fault of EWC at all. When I mentioned this situation to Philip, he immediately undertook to locate a replacement, despite the watch being long discontinued and the issue not being his responsibility at all. I can not praise Philip and the team at EWC enough. Thank you!

J N: I'm on the fence with leaving a negative review. Here's what happened and why I'm not entirely happy:1) I wanted to trade in a watch. We had spoke over email and came to a number. I told them I would be flying in from Canada in 2 weeks to do the deal in person and that'd I'd be interested in possibly a trade. They received my email and knew to expect me.2) when I got there, they asked if i had an appointment. I told them not officially but the company did know I was flying in to sell my watch and possibly do a trade. It seems that there was some sort of the miscommunication there. It felt as if I wasn't well received and I was being rushed in and out.3) they looked at my daydate and told me it was 4k less than what was quoted simply because the market has changed since we last talked.Now this alone would set a sour taste in my mouth but I tried to take it with a grain of salt as I do understand prices do change. However, if you're quoting clients and having them fly in across border, I'd fully expect a company as reputable as this to honor their quote. Especially when the spread on what was quoted vs. present time wasn't even that much.I will give credit here. Tony, the gentleman I dealt with was more than happy to accommodate and show me pieces I was interested in trading for. He did take the time to talk through the pieces with me and was very up front with everything. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't try on everything I wanted due to time constraints and the lack of an appointment booked but Tony assured me there was no rush.Very unfortunate and somewhat frustrating that I had to fly across border just to deal with the miscommunication and mishaps but I will give them credit for their customer service after the fact. I would've loved to do a deal but unfortunately they did not honor their original quote.

TcLe: The Tourneau store at Copley Place deserved a 5 star. Not because of it location but due to their professional and excellency. I have the best first impression with John Winer (Jack) and Mohamed Moselhy, these two professional sellers are very attentive to detail and very knowledgeable about Rolex history. I learned a lot from them within the first hour and I was very impressed that they are not just answered my questions but they also showed me products that they currently have. Despite I did not get the watch that I am looking for (Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36mm in 18K yellow gold), but I end up bought a Date-Just 31mm two tone for my wife and she love it!In addition, I also met with Mr. Cameron the store director and he was very pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend anyone thinking buying watch especially Rolex brand, you should try out this place and you won’t be regret. You may not get what you want but the service that you will receive is top notch. I will visit this store more often to meet the people work there because they are not just professional but they make me feel like one of their family member. Thanks to the security man as well, sorry can’t remember his name but he was nice and open the door for us! Feel blessing! I served 4 combat tours in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kosovo. I am in a place to afford such a watch and if she could please help me with procuring one. Daniel Lavoie: Waiting in a line to get into this store is outrageous. Get more employees or figure it out. There’s no reason to lose money because it takes 30 minutes to wait for other people to browse. There are better watch stores with more impressive history, selection, and knowledgeable employees within walking distance. Skip the line. Skip the BS and shop anywhere else. Even prefer online.

She was honest about the availability of some of the watches I was looking at but took all my information, didn’t make any promises but said “you never know”.Fast forward a couple weeks later, Anna texted me a couple of models. Honestly I was shocked. I was still waiting 18 months at another Rolex dealer for a watch after buying numerous watches and jewelry from them in the past. It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but how could I say no? I came to the store met with Cameron. I learned more about Rolex in the hour with him then I ever did with the jeweler. I had the watch shipped, I had some issues with delivery. Cameron and Anna both reached out to me by text and email, to help with getting the watch to me. Finally today I received my new watch. I was really back and forth on making that final decision to purchase. I decided I would wait and see if I could find one pre owned because my friend told me he got his for far less brand new and at a discount. The sales associate got really upset. He called me out saying I wasted his time and that he could have been helping someone else and I kept them waiting. It was incredibly uncomfortable to the point I almost bought it! definitely won’t be going back here again. Just scary and unpleasant, not the experience I expect when Purchasing a luxury item. Funny enough looking back several times a have felt shooed off or made uncomfortable by staff there. I ended up buying the watch 2 weeks later…… but online from the panerai website. I felt compelled to leave this review because I was genuinely concerned for my well being in that store by one particular salesman. He was menacing, and flew from smile salesman to what honestly felt devil like. Goosebumps thinking about him and my experience with him. Stay far far away, at least during the work week……… I was there at lunchtime.

William Russell: I have been looking for a specific Rolex for over a year. I have missed several once in lifetime events to celebrate. I told him I am looking for a surprise. I had been to 3 stores in Boston on vacation and was on “waiting list” at 4 of my local ADs. Every AD has always told me they have NOTHING in stock, exhibition only.They have the exact one I wanted but on exhibition. Polar Explorer 2!!! This is first I have seen since I began my search. When I asked Hugh if they have ANYTHING in stock he mentioned the Cellini Moonphase. This is first time seeing in person and I had to try it on. It had all the checks of a nice watch I was interested in. White dial, solid rose gold, alligator strap, meteorite on the face. So even though it was not a high interest item for most, I loved it. Once on my wrist I had to get it.So this was my first Rolex purchase and first of my now started watch collection.Hopefully not too long I can finally get the polar I have been chasing!!!Hugh and Tourneau, thanks for the beautiful timepiece. It will be my daily until I get the polar. Also, my Toddler daughter loves it as well. One day she will wear it too!!!Thanks again

Since I knew the drill, I walked up to the door and was about to ask if we could get in line behind the gentleman by the entrance to enter. The door guard only pointed and said "line" gruffly. Stephen Mccolpin: I want to say first you're only getting five stars because of Mohammad. I came to Boston for my daughter's surgery at Boston children. I was looking for a Rolex and trying to set a time via email with no luck or reply. Where I am from we don't have a Rolex AD anymore and the closest is over 4+ hrs away. So my family and I went to the Boston store location and no one would chat with me. Mohammad saw us and came over to chat. He informed me that they had no new men's Rolex in stock but had a few women in stock. I told him I was looking for me and he showed me the pre-owned area. Mohammad immediately opened the boxes and let me try on a few different Rolex watches. I decided on one and he went to ring it up and go thru all the information with me. He sized the watch and made it a perfect fit for me. When I was about to leave I suggested to him to show me the new women's Rolex watches and he did so very promptly and let me hold and decide if I wanted it and answered all my questions. You know what I did next? I bought my wife a Rolex from Mohammad. He did the same and went thru everything with my wife. Mohammad made the experience amazing. I also explained how I don't have an AD and he said no problem you can call us and we will send a box and service your family Rolex no problem. Mohammad is an amazing person and great value to your company and this location!
Lauren Jorgensen: My partner and I went here today to try a watch he was interested in. We were greeted by an incredible rude doorman, and when we asked if they had a specified brand before waiting on the 20 minute line, said “I don’t answer questions about inventory.” We then tried to call the store on line to ask the question and no one answered. So low and behold we get into the store finally, no one was available to answer a question, and none of the watch brands we wanted were available. I don’t typically leave Google reviews, but truly the doorman left such a bad taste in our mouths that we will not be returning.

SW: My most sincere gratitude for LBG’s support.My best friend for 40 years that I grew up with passed away in earlier this month after a year long battle with cancer. I had the great honor to prepare his urn as his family feel he will be happy in his final resting place prepared by his best friend. His wife already picked out the Urn and it was my mission to have it engraved with the special message. I never would have imagined it would be such a daunting task as the service and cremation only 12 days away and I have to courier it oversea. At first, I reached out to the urn manufacturer about engraving the urn but the manufacturer responded back they will only do a standard 3 lines engravings and will not accommodate any rush order. I then reached out to different engraving companies that can handle large format engravings but no one would take the job, while some simply would not take walk-in. When all hope seemed lost, I reached out to Karen to see if any jewelry engraver can help and if they can do a rush order to accommodate such short timeline. Karen started working on it immediately and arranged the logistics to shorten the transportation time by getting the urn directly to her and she meticulously checked every details. Karen personally oversaw each step and went out of her way to pickup and deliver the engraved urn to me. It was a huge relief for me and I can say my final goodbye to my best friend. It is my only proper way for his sent off as I could not fly oversea to attend his funeral.If it was not Karen, the engravings would not be done and delivered to my best friend’s family in such short timeframe and my best friend will be sealed in a plastic bag. I know that I have added a lot of stress and trouble for Karen, but she still went out of her way to help me to get it done. I am forever grateful for her help and all the support LBG provided.
Tim Rafferty: When I moved to Boston a few years ago, I visited this store to have my watch repaired. Steve cheerfully greeted me as I walked in, examined it and led me back to Yen in the service area who kindly repaired my watch. In exchange for the repair, Steve politely asked for the opportunity to earn my business the next time I’m shopping for a new watch. Impressed by the service and my productive visit, I happily agreed.When that time came, I returned to visit Steve and he created a wonderful customer experience and helped me select the perfect watch! Since then, I’ve made several trips back as Steve has won all my jewelry/watch business. TANIA SANT: When I wanted to buy a Rolex in Boston as a birthday gift to myself, google threw up LBG so off I trotted to buy from an old established jewelry store, rather than an impersonal experience elsewhere. The selection for women’s Rolex watches wasn’t the best, even then, I liked something and went ahead and purchased it. I was very excited about this store becoming a generational place for purchasing more watches for family members, Herend curious etc. A week after my purchase I decided to wear my watch for the first time, as I traveled back to india. In those 24 hours I felt like I had made a big mistake and had severe remorse over the model I had selected. I immediately sent Peter an email stating that I would be back in February or March and wanted to exchange the watch: he was very understanding and said he would see what they could do. I was under the impression that this would be a breeze. I was back in Boston March 4 and without wasting time I went to LBG to exchange my watch. Peter wasn’t there but I spoke to the manager Jack who said he would talk to the owner, Mr. Green, and get back to me by Monday. They don’t sell used Rolex watches and he was going to see if they could make an exception. When I didn’t hear back I called & now have been told I will be called tomorrow. I just want my agony to end. Honestly, I don’t know why Rolex by Long’s on Newbury didn’t show up the first time I looked - I would obviously have gone there. Most likely that’s where I’m headed to sell my brand new Rolex and get another one that I like.
Rick Snow: Website clearly states : "fully authorized watch laboratory and Swiss trained watchmakers give you the confidence that we are a one stop destination for all your service needs".Stopped in yesterday to see if they could repair my Tag Heuer. Salesman told me they don't do that anymore and would have to send the watch to the Tag factory in Switzerland. Maybe run as much as $800. He did however try to sell me a new watch. Waste of time.

Rindge Leaphart: I was in Boston this weekend for an event and had some free time. What do I do with my free time? Visit watch shops of course. I finally made some time to visit Shreve Crump & Low on Newbury St. This was my first time visiting SC&L, so I had no idea what to expect. SC&L is well known for its jewelry collection, but I didn't know much about the watch section.My visit to SC&L was fantastic for two reasons: 1. Their watch collection occupies the entire second floor of the building. The second floor is not extremely large. That being said, they make great use of the space as they have watches in every nook and cranny. The collection of new and pre-owned watches is superb. I might go far to say it is the best in the Boston area. They are an authorized dealer for numerous brands including very top end brands as well as respectable mid-tier brands. I saw new watches covering a broad range of price points; Nomos, B&M, Zenith, JLC, FP Journe, etc..I mentioned that my visit was fantastic for two reasons. The 2nd (and most important) reason the visit was fantastic is because I had a chance to interact with Christopher W. at SC&L. Christopher, approached with a very warm, welcoming, and GENUINE greeting. We talked watches, straps, etc., for what must have been 30+ minutes. Our discussion was full of laughter and learning (at least on my part). I have never had so much fun and felt as welcomed as I did when visiting with Christopher at SC&L. Christopher is very knowledgeable about watches and is willing to share what he knows. If you are in the Boston area, and are looking for watches, and want to do so in a low pressure environment with a genuinely good person, then look up Christopher W. at SC&L.

Audiobooks Fun for Kids Playing Learning English: good store, a bit expensive..nice overall..and surprised they do not have more items for clocks...for example the one listed the Patek .. an example is at European Watch on the same street, not for sale but an amazing reference point on fine Swiss watches. the store was nice and the staff super keen.

Donna Leitao: Since the holidays were over, i decided to do a clean up in my house. Once i was done i noticed that i had a fairly small amount of broken jewelry and unmatched earrings from the past. After putting it in my trusty zip lock bag, i headed into the jeweler's building, knowing i was going fo get best price in there. I went to 4 jewelers before stumbling into a little shop on the 4th floor, cambridge jewelers. Not only did i think the jeweler was super sweet and honest to me but he gave me a quote $150 more than the highest quote from the rest. Now i know, don't waste time and go directly here. Thank you, I'm so happy. Honestly that's an extra $ in my pocket to use in my spring vaca !!

I roamed around looking for a store that buys jewelry and ended up with several offers that were drastically different. At Cambridge Jewelry & Watch Buyers, Jim the owner, greeted me with a smile and a handshake. He could sense my nervousness and began telling me about his three daughters. He then proceeded to give me a brief lesson on diamonds and an offer to buy my diamond. His offer was HIGHER than any of the previous offers in the SAME building. I highly recommend Jim. Matt Reera: I found Cambridge jewelry on Yelp and he had great reviews so I gave them a call and Jim was happy to meet me by appointment on a Saturday. I had been thinking of proposing for awhile and was just nervous because I'd never bought a diamond before. My girl had told me kind of what she wanted so I had an idea. When I met Jim he was just a guy in a little office,nothing fancy but boy was I impressed. Him and his daughter who works there gave me the quick tutorial on a ring & helped me pick out something in my budget and that I thought my girl would like. An hour later I was done and couldn't be happier. My girl loved the ring & I got a great deal! Thanks Jim for making me the hero!!
Ace da boss: Ive never felt as slighted as when I went to Cambridge to shop for accessory jewelry for my wife and a Rolex for me. They acted very superior to me and treated me like an child. Their pricing was out of line and were not willing to work with me even from a price match perspective. Bad business ethics. Also, if you aren't dressed like a million dollars, that's exactly the way you are treated. Maybe I would've been treated better if I opened up my wallet ahead of time to show them I can afford anything in their store. Thanks for making my choice easy. Seems like the oenergy made his money in the 2000s. He is more intrigued about the TV he watches all day while he works sitting down. Watching court cases all day
Therence Howard: I can't even begin to tell you how much my wife and I hate this jeweler. We had the absolute worst experience shopping for an engagement ring here. This was one of the first stores that we looked in who carried the name brand setting we were interested in. Once we found the style we liked, my (now) wife Sent to look at diamonds. SHe was told that if we wanted this particular setting,S he could only purchase a "hearts on fire"diamond. This seemed odd because the setting was not a hearts on fire setting, but she still was interested in pricing. Their prices were a joke. They were selling IGI diamonds for more than what you would pay for a GIA graded diamond. SHe didn't purchase here.Here my husband would have been able to purchase a .50 carat IGI rated "Good" quality "i"clarity diamond, for MORE than he paid for my .75 GIA "Ideal" cut, "G" clarity diamond purchased at another local luxury jeweler. Thank goodness, because my diamond sparkles like crazy and I receive tons of compliments on it.We tried to give this place a second chance when we went to see the matching wedding band for my engagement ring.this time and spoke with the owner. We told him about our bad experience at the and he offered to give us a "great deal" on the matching wedding band to make up for the bad experience at the store. His idea of a great deal was to charge us 45% above the MSRP suggested for the band on the manufacturers website for the "floor sample" ring. We laughed in his face, walked out of the store, and purchased the matching band elsewhere.We tell anyone we can about the horrible experiences we had in this store and warn people away. I don't know how they even stay in business!If you are shopping for an engagement ring, wedding band, or really any nice piece of jewelry, I would encourage you to go just about anywhere else. The sales people (including the owner) are rude, pushy, and lie. For what you pay here, you could get a much nicer and larger diamond and band just about anywhere else. This store is supposed to offer great customer service, but since when does great customer service include lying about your poor quality, overpriced merchandise? BUYER BEWARE.

I spoke with Jim several times before making the trek into downtown Boston from my office in Westborough, and he was always polite and courteous, provided excellent driving and parking directions, and never made me feel that I was not worthy of his time.When I arrived for our appointment, I wanted to sell a few pieces of jewelry from my recent marriage break-up, Jim could not have been more kind and professional. And he paid me much more than I would ever have imagined my pieces were worth.I highly recommend Cambridge Jewelry to anyone selling or buying jewelry. Jim is truly a "gem" (haha).
